A thousand years is a great deal of time. There is a library full of literature that is completely new to me. There have been boundless advances in every field: mathematics, literature, sciences(studies of flora and fauna, studies of the material world, studies of magic), and even a whole new field of field of magic dealing in ‘electronics’.

At least a decade will be needed if not more. A tutor may be required but I am hesitant to ask for one. The ponies Celestia has sent to me have been less than knowledgeable…I am hesitant to have her find me a teacher.

I could find one myself if only I were more familiar with this modern world. Therein lies the problem.
