They say progress is two steps forward, one step back; or at least they used to. Today is that step back.

Do you remember that city in the north? We stopped watching it and that tyrant took over. Who would have thought there was a spell that would make the entire Crystal Empire a personal shield for him? Not me. I struck him into oblivion at the first opening, and the city and all its subjects joined him. it is no mystery why you do not trust me, there is far too much blood on my hoofs.
