This extermination goes smoothly. The Night Ponies surrounded Equestria like a great noose and now it seems that all I must do is pull it tight.

These changelings are somewhat more intelligent than I first summarized but not greatly so. They may steal a pony’s appearance but they are far from perfect actors. From what I am told disposing of them discreetly poses more of a challenge than finding them.

Learning does not seem to be beyond them. If I allow this hunt to drag on they will become better at eluding capture. I must not let this happen but I there is little else I may do to hasten their demise.

Some will elude capture. As thoroughly as Equestria may be searched there will be a scant few who were overlooked. As detestable as I find the idea of these insects feeding off of my ponies, they will do little harm if Chrysalis and the majority of her swarm are killed.

I can only hope that she is hidden away, still full from Prince Armor’s misplaced affections. My Night Ponies are brave and strong but I would not knowingly risk their lives to end hers. Her death must be at my hooves.
