Paper Mario: The Fountain of the Unicorns
Chapter 1: Prologue
"MAAAAAARRRRIIIIOOOO!?"
Mario was startled so much, he dropped the expensive red cap he was holding. He angrily walked over to Luigi and said "What?!" Luigi said quietly "Uhh...Nevermind.." and stepped backwards, Mario sighed and walked back to the seller and said "Sorry about that, i'll just take it.." and dropped a handfull of shiny golden coins on the stand and walked off, the seller grinned and said to himself "Tha' was the bes' deal i ever did.." and shoved the coins greedily in his pocket. Mario heard a buzzing in his pocket and pulled out his shiny white Mailbox SP, it had one new message, he played it,
"Dear Mario,
I thank you for your letter, yes, i would like to visit you on your vacation at Rogueport,
might be a while until i can, as Toadsworth is being a little..How can i put this nicely?
Yeah, you know him, anyway, i'll just sneak off for a little bit and visit you.
Seeya!
Your Princess, Peach Toadstool."
Mario happily typed a response back.
"Dear Princess Peach,
Alright, make it quick though, i think Luigi is being a little freaked out by this place,,
Can't blame him, it is getting a lot more rough, anyway, i hope you can make it
quickly!
Your friend, Mario Mario."
He then flipped the Mailbox SP closed and slipped it in his pocket, then walked over to the stand Luigi was looking at, it had dusty, old, and torn paintings of various Horse-like beings, such as a Lavender Unicorn, a Blue Pegasus, and a Pink Pony. Luigi said "Hah, i betcha want on, don't you, bro?" Mario simply slapped him on the face and walked off.
Ponyville, Equestria.
Twilight Sparkle's Library.
"Wha' was the point of waking us up at 2 in the mornin' anyway?" Applejack said, sounding tired. Pinkie Pie said "Yeah! Why?..Wait, i forgot why i was even sleeping.." loudly, Spike came in, looking a little scared, and said "Twi's busy, but she'll be out in a couple minutes. It's some kind of spell to allow us to teleport, between you and me, this probably isn't gonna end well.." That couldn't be any closer to the truth.
