Blood Moon, a captain in an elite group of royal soldiers is tasked with meeting and protecting Princess Twilight Sparkle. However, due to the instability of the rogue factions in Equestria he does not fully realize how much danger that entails.

Time has not been kind to Blood Moon. He is a unicorn that is constantly tormented by his past. Even his dreams hold no sanctuary. Due to the rogue factions of supernaturals, Princess Luna herself ordered him to protect Princess Twilight Sparkle with his life. This is mainly due to him somehow possessing the rare gift having two talents of manipulating blood and life force to his will. Although, while he has lived a great while and is combat trained, he is usually an introvert and would spend most days alone in his alchemy lab if he could. His missions are mainly the only times he ever leaves his comfort zone and is forced to interact with the general public. Deep down he was hoping this would be a quick and easy task, he was wrong.
