My Little Dashie; Love Never Dies
Chapter 7: Chapter 6: Refuge
Previous Chapter Next ChapterAs we were driving, Lizzy spoke up.
“So, uh, how long have you two known each other?” I opened my mouth, but Dashie was first to speak.
“Well, my father has raised me for fifteen years, or five days in the place called Equestria, and we’ve been separated for five years, or five days in Equestria.”
“So one year is one day in Equestria?” Asked Lizzy. “Well crap!” I nodded in agreement. Lizzy spoke up again.
“So why are the other five main ponies and the Equestria army after y’all?” I then began telling Dashie’s story, and mine, up until we met her.

“My goodness, Luna is DEAD?” Lizzy asked after I finished. I looked back at Dashie, who looked at the ground (She was laying across the seat). I nodded my head. After an hour or so, Dashie fell asleep, and I began searching the car. I opened the glove compartment, and found some useful things.
“Oh hell yes!” I exclaimed quietly as I looted the box.
“What is it?” Lizzy asked, eyes focused on the road.
“Look what I found in the glove box!” I said, showing off my finds. There were quite a few items: A Bolo machete, 42. Magnum, ammo for the Magnum, a flashlight, a med kit, various medicine, a Bible, and a few blankets. Lizzy looked at the items as we arrived at our destination. She was surprised at our loot as I put all the items in my backpack, dumping all my rifle ammo since I had no rifle, which gave room for the Bible, new gun and ammo for it. I shoved the Medicine and med kit in my pocket, while I used the machete as a weapon.
“Dashie, we’re here.” I said softly as I shook her gently. She stirred slightly, then said,
“Let me sleep.”
“Don’t make me use my method of waking you up.” I said as I got a smile on my face. It had been years since I used “The Method” as I called it. Dashie smiled at me.
“You wouldn't dare.” She challenged me.
“Try me.” I responded. Dashie rolled over, and closed her eyes.
“Alright, you asked for it!” I said playfully as I stepped into the backseat area. I set down my machete, and began tickling Dashie’s stomach. She began laughing as she tried to hold my hands back, but I was stronger than her.
“Ok, ok! I’m awake!” She said through her laughter. I smiled.
“Good, let’s get a move on.” I said as I opened the door and letting Dashie out. She playfully pushed me, making me stumble.
“You’ll regret that!” I yelled at her.
“Only if you can catch me!” She yelled back.
“When we get to camp.” I responded.
“What’s the matter, scared that you can’t catch me?” She taunted. Ignoring her, I looked to Lizzy, who was giggling.
“You two really love each other, don’t you?” She asked. I looked at Dashie, who was looking curiously at the car.
“Yes, we do.” I stated as I took the car keys from Lizzy and activated the car alarm. Dashie screamed, and ran away.
“IT’S GONNA BLOW!” She said in terror as she ran around in circles. Lizzy and I roared with laughter at Dashie’s expression.
