Prologue: Reunition
It’s been five years (or five days in Equestria) since I’ve seen My Little Dashie, five years since she’s been taken away. I try to keep myself occupied with other things: friends, alcohol, money, and I even tried drugs once. After going into a deep depression, I turned to a life of crime. I am a drug dealer, and I’m wanted by the law. I’ve been holding up in a small abandoned house at the edge of town, and no one has ever come near here (except my clients). I’ve got a good food supply, weapons, ammunition, and of course, drugs.
It was a normal Friday, everything was calm and good. After checking the perimeter, I had settled in my bed for a nice, well deserved slumber. “Another successful day of dealing” I said to myself. It was around midnight; a client wanted to make sure she got her drugs and get away with it, so we had to meet late. It had been a while since Dashie crossed my mind, so I grabbed the photo album the Princess let me keep, and I skipped to the parts of Dashie and I. Her first bath, her first meal, getting her cutie mark, her first flight, and on and on and on.
-------
I was awoken by a loud crash, and shot up. Looking around, I realized that I had fallen asleep while looking at the photos. After staying still for a few minutes, I slowly got up out of bed and grabbed an M9 close by. After loading my gun,I walked down the stairs, thinking the police had found me. I checked the kitchen. Nothing. Same with the washing room, bathroom, and guest bedroom. When I walked into the living room, there was a silhouette of something in the middle of the room. The strange thing was that it was not a human, but was standing like a pony. I quietly walked back into a kitchen, where I grabbed a flashlight, walked back to the living room, and flicked it on. I shone it on the figure, and I was shocked at what I saw. Before me, was a mare. She had Cyan fur, and her mane and tail was a rainbow color. She turned around, and we stared at each other for a moment.
“Dashie”?
Chapter 1: Reveal
Seeing my daughter sent me into shock because i thought i would never see her again.
“Daddy?” She asked.
I dropped my gun, and she came running into my arms.
“DADDY!” She exclaimed as we embraced
As we hugged, I asked:
“So what are you doing here?” I expected that she said that she missed me, wanted to see me, ect., but the answer shocked me.
“The others are treating me horribly because of what I’ve done, and now I’m wanted in Equestria.” She looked at me with sad eyes, and looked at the ground.
“What did you do?” I asked, putting an arm of assurance around her. She looked up and me, and opened her mouth as if she wanted to speak, but then closed it again.
“I can’t tell.” She said simply
“Why ever not?” I asked, concerned. She sniffled.
“Because you wouldn’t love me anymore.” She began sobbing, and I caught her as she fell to the floor. I lead her to the old couch, where we sat until she calmed down. I looked in her eyes, and I could tell she did something horrible
“Dashie, no matter WHAT happened, I love you, and I always will.” Dashie looked at the ground, and then back at me.
“Dad, I’ve murdered the Princess.”
Chapter 2: Flashback
The news hit me like a punch in the face.
"What happened?!" I asked.
Dashie looked at me, and then started.
--------
(This is from Dashie’s view when she was in Equestria)
When I had woken up, I was in a cloud castle. My head was pounding, and a figure was standing in the corner.
“Hello Rainbow Dash. Feeling well?” It questioned. I tried to speak, but I only coughed. “It’s ok. Traveling from world to world can take a toll on a pony’s body, but you’ll recover.”
After my blurry vision had cleared, I noticed the pony called Twilight Sparkle was standing at the foot of my bed, smiling.
“W-where am I?” I asked.
“You're back in Equestria, in your cloud home.” She said softly. “Now, you may be wondering-“
“Yeah, I’m wondering where the hell am I?” (I learned that word from daddy when he was angry)
“Er…. Equestria?” Twilight answered.
“I don't know where that is, all I know is that my dad is not here!” Twilight had a worried look on her face.
“Oh dear, you still remember?” She asked worriedly.
“Yes, why wouldn't I?” I questioned the unicorn back.
“Well, I thought that the memory spell I casted would erase your memory, but-“
“YOU TRIED TO MAKE ME FORGET?!?!” I shouted. Twilight looked at me as I got out of bed. “I don't know WHO you are, but all I know is that I don't belong here!” I said as I flew out the window.
After flying for a long while, I came to a big Castle. It appeared to be the Princess’s castle, (It looked like the castle the princess lived in from the episodes I watched on TV), and I flew towards it. I landed on the balcony, and looked in. There was Princess Celestia, reading a scroll. I stood there, and watched her.
“Well, hello there Rainbow Dash.” A voice greeted from behind. I jumped around, and saw Princess Luna, staring at me. In fear, I walked backwards, until I was up against the wall. Then Celestia came out.
“Luna, I was wondering- Oh, hello Rainbow Dash, feeling well?” The Princess asked me as she approached me. With both ponies approaching me, and me up against the wall terrified, I let instinct take over. When Luna was too close for comfort, I bucked, and hit her square in the cheek. There was a loud, “CRACK!”, and she fell to the floor dead. Princess Celestia looked in horror at her dead sister, and then she looked at me.
“GUARDS!” She shouted. “WE HAVE A MURDERER!”
I flew away as fast as I could, the royal Pegasus guards catching up to me. I was flying so fast, that I was able to perform a Sonic Rainboom, and I was teleported here.
Chapter 3: Chase
After Dashie had finished her story, I wrapped my arm around her.
“Truth is, Dashie,” I began, “That-“
I was interrupted by a loud explosion that jolted both the Pegasus and I to look out the window. We saw Princess Celestia, her Royal Guards, and the mane six (excluding Rainbow Dash).
“Find Rainbow Dash, and bring her to me!” Celestia ordered.
All of the ponies started advancing towards the house, but were still a few miles away. I looked back, and saw Dashie huddled in the corner, shaking with fear. I ran to my room, grabbed a backpack, as many guns and ammunition I could carry, and I ran downstairs and used the remaining room in my backpack and pockets for food and water. Holding a Karabiner 98k in hand, I ran back over to Dashie
“Quickly, let’s move before they get here!” I said to her in a hurry.
“They want me, not you. Just go without me.” Dashie replied in a sorrowful tone. I grabbed her hoof.
“No pony gets left behind.” I said as I helped her up. She smiled as we made our way downstairs and out the back door. We just made it outside, and were face-to-face with the Princess.
“Get them!” She ordered. A guard charged us, and I smacked him with the butt of my rifle, knocking him to the ground. We ran back inside, and to the front door. The remaining ponies and the mane five were waiting for us. I fired a bullet, and hit a guard, his corpse hitting the ground quickly. As I reloaded, both of us ran up the stairs and into my bedroom. We locked and barricaded the door with all the broken furniture in the room. We could hear the ponies coming up the steps, when I got an idea. I turned to Dashie and said:
“Dashie, jump out the window!”
“What?!?!” She asked me. “But we’ll die!”
“You have wings, remember?” I said, pointing to her wings. She stretched them out, and grinned.
“Oh yea. But what about you?”
“I have my own way, just jump!” I said in a hurried tone.
Dashie did as I commanded, and began running towards the window with me right behind her. When she jumped, I grabbed onto her body, and we both flew out together. I was too heavy, and we tumbled to the ground, but Dashie’s wings had slowed our fall, preventing any major damage.
“RUN!” I screamed as we both got up and began sprinting down the street, taking corners like no one’s business. I heard the sound of wings as we ran, and attached my small bayonet to the end of the gun. I turned around, and a winged guard ran his neck into the knife. He gagged, blood coming from the wound in his neck and from his mouth. Once he died, I pushed the body off the knife, and fired another bullet, it missing its target.
“DAD HURRY!” Dashie screamed as I fell behind to our chasers. I was tackled by a pony, but I quickly recovered, shoving the Stallion off me, and I continued running. We turned a corner, and there was the mane five who had cut us off. We stopped, and began running backwards, but we were stopped by the Princess and her guards. There was no way out. As I tried to comprehend what was happening, Dashie and I had gone back-to-back (Or back to flank) as we were closed in.
We were trapped.
Chapter 4: Captured
The Princess stepped forward as I tried to find a way out of this predicament.
“Human, let us take the Pegasus and we will let you go unharmed.” I looked into her eyes, and spat at her. She frowned at me, and took another step forward, raised her hoof, and hit me square across the face. I fell to the ground as I heard Dashie scream and heard another thud as she hit the ground. I felt the point of impact, and realized that I had a nosebleed. I looked as Dashie, who had tears streaming down her face after Celestia hit her as well. As a father, my anger raged up, and I got up and stuck Celestia, who was directly behind me, in the snout.
“NO ONE HITS MY DAUGHTER!” I bellowed as the Princess recovered from her shock. I felt an invisible power push me to the ground, and hold me there. Twilight sparkle, horn glowing, ran up to the Princess.
“Princess Celestia, are you alright?!” She asked in a panicked tone. Celestia recovered, and scowled at me.
“Yes, I’m quite alright.”
“What do we do with him, then?” Rarity asked as she nodded her head towards me.
“Maybe we can brainwash him?” Twilight suggested.
“No, too much trouble.” Applejack replied. “How about we just torture him?” The others agreed with her idea, and then started discussing Dashie’s fate. I looked at her, and she was standing, looking around for a way out. I then felt some of Twilight’s magic lift from me, enabling me to move my arm. I slowly wiggled my arm to the rifle that was lying on the ground. I aimed it the best I could at Twilight, and fired.
“TWILIGHT!” Pinkie Pie shrieked as she jumped in front of Twilight, taking the bullet for her. Unfortunately, the pink mare didn't realize that I was aiming for Twilight’s horn, and when she jumped in front of Twilight, the bullet entered her head, killing her.
Pinkie’s body impacted with Twilight, breaking the spell entirely. I got up, and, leaving the rifle, ran away from the crowd of ponies with Dashie.
Chapter 5: Escape
As Dashie and I ran, I knew that we had to go into town for help. It wouldn’t be pretty, I was still a wanted man, but luckily, no one knew my face, so I was safe. Also, I had forged a fake Police ID, so I had an excuse for carrying a gun. But there was only one thing that worried me: Dashie. How would people react to her? Would she be swarmed with other fans? How would SHE react?
“Dashie, we have to go through town.” I said when we stopped to rest.
“What will other people say?” She asked, looking up.
“I have no idea, but if people start to swarm you, just keep calm.” She nodded, and got up. We walked until we reached town, and I pulled out my pistol, just in case. As we walked through town, I saw mouths hung agate from the shock of seeing a Cyan Pegasus. As the more people looked, the faster we walked, until a small girl, no more than 7, went up to Dashie. The Pegasus simply ignored the girl, and kept walking. We were almost at the outskirts of town, when I saw a faithful client named Lizzy. I ran up to her, and she seemed surprised to see me.
“What are you doing out in the open?” She asked me through gritted teeth.
“Look, I need your help.” I said plainly. “I-“
“Have you been discovered?!?!” She questioned, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Well….. Not by humans, no.”
“Then what-“She spotted Dashie, and then stopped. “Is that who I think it is?” I simply nodded my head, and then I leaned close to Lizzy’s ear.
“Look, we’re being chased by….” I said, my voice trailing off.
“By what?” She asked curiously. I opened my mouth to speak, but was cut off by screaming. The three of us whipped around, and saw our pursuers had caught up to us.
“Them.” I stated grimly. Lizzy stood there, shocked. We both liked My Little Pony, so she knew who was standing a few hundred feet away from us.
“I have a camp set up in the forest where my family is camping. You can hide out there.” She revealed. “Follow me!” She kicked off the high heels she was wearing, and began sprinting towards the edge of town, with Dashie and I close behind.
“STOP!” We heard Celestia command.
A unicorn guard teleported in front of us, and blocked our paths. I gave him a taste of my M9, and he dropped to the ground like a house fly that had been struck with a fly swatter. I knew that if any of the winged ponies decided to use their wings, we’d be done for. I motioned Lizzy and Dashie into a nearby parking garage, where we ran up to the top floor. I went over to a SUV, and gave my M9 to Lizzy.
“Know how to use this?” I asked.
“Yea.” She responded, cocking the gun.
“Alright, I’m going to hotwire this car. In the meantime, I need you to hold off the ponies giving chase. Shoot to kill, understood?” Lizzy fired; making me hit the ground for cover. I felt the body of a Pegasus hit mine, and I knew she had saved my life. After getting up and thanking her, I began hotwiring the car. As a drug dealer, learning how to hotwire a car was very important, for if you needed to make a quick escape, you didn’t need any keys.
After popping open the hood, I set to work, connecting wires to hopefully jumpstart the battery. I head constant gunfire and the screams of ponies, both flying through the sides of the garage that was exposed, and coming up the ramp.
“NEED AMMO!” Lizzy shouted. I took out a few clips and tossed them to her. She reloaded, and continued fighting. I reached down for my knife that I had taken, but I realized it was gone. I looked back and saw Dashie fighting with the knife in her mouth. I didn’t want to disarm her, so I broke into the car and used a pen to cut a wire (It took me a long time, but it worked). When I connected the wire I cut with another, the car roared to life. I shut the hood, and unlocked the car.
“LET’S MOVE!” I bellowed as both Lizzy and Dashie ran towards the car. Lizzy jumped in the driver seat, Dashie in the back, and me in the passenger seat.
“GO!” I commanded. Lizzy put the car in reverse, and backed up out of the parking stop. With a quick movement, she spun the car around, put the gear in drive, and made her way down the flights, taking the corners swiftly and smoothly. Once we made it out, she turned the car to the forest, and we drove.
We had escaped.
Chapter 6: Refuge
As we were driving, Lizzy spoke up.
“So, uh, how long have you two known each other?” I opened my mouth, but Dashie was first to speak.
“Well, my father has raised me for fifteen years, or five days in the place called Equestria, and we’ve been separated for five years, or five days in Equestria.”
“So one year is one day in Equestria?” Asked Lizzy. “Well crap!” I nodded in agreement. Lizzy spoke up again.
“So why are the other five main ponies and the Equestria army after y’all?” I then began telling Dashie’s story, and mine, up until we met her.
-----------
“My goodness, Luna is DEAD?” Lizzy asked after I finished. I looked back at Dashie, who looked at the ground (She was laying across the seat). I nodded my head. After an hour or so, Dashie fell asleep, and I began searching the car. I opened the glove compartment, and found some useful things.
“Oh hell yes!” I exclaimed quietly as I looted the box.
“What is it?” Lizzy asked, eyes focused on the road.
“Look what I found in the glove box!” I said, showing off my finds. There were quite a few items: A Bolo machete, 42. Magnum, ammo for the Magnum, a flashlight, a med kit, various medicine, a Bible, and a few blankets. Lizzy looked at the items as we arrived at our destination. She was surprised at our loot as I put all the items in my backpack, dumping all my rifle ammo since I had no rifle, which gave room for the Bible, new gun and ammo for it. I shoved the Medicine and med kit in my pocket, while I used the machete as a weapon.
“Dashie, we’re here.” I said softly as I shook her gently. She stirred slightly, then said,
“Let me sleep.”
“Don’t make me use my method of waking you up.” I said as I got a smile on my face. It had been years since I used “The Method” as I called it. Dashie smiled at me.
“You wouldn't dare.” She challenged me.
“Try me.” I responded. Dashie rolled over, and closed her eyes.
“Alright, you asked for it!” I said playfully as I stepped into the backseat area. I set down my machete, and began tickling Dashie’s stomach. She began laughing as she tried to hold my hands back, but I was stronger than her.
“Ok, ok! I’m awake!” She said through her laughter. I smiled.
“Good, let’s get a move on.” I said as I opened the door and letting Dashie out. She playfully pushed me, making me stumble.
“You’ll regret that!” I yelled at her.
“Only if you can catch me!” She yelled back.
“When we get to camp.” I responded.
“What’s the matter, scared that you can’t catch me?” She taunted. Ignoring her, I looked to Lizzy, who was giggling.
“You two really love each other, don’t you?” She asked. I looked at Dashie, who was looking curiously at the car.
“Yes, we do.” I stated as I took the car keys from Lizzy and activated the car alarm. Dashie screamed, and ran away.
“IT’S GONNA BLOW!” She said in terror as she ran around in circles. Lizzy and I roared with laughter at Dashie’s expression.
Chapter 7: illness
When we arrived at the camp, I was not surprised by what I saw. It was an ordinary camp; three tents, a campfire, a creek behind the camp, and some lawn chairs. Lizzy’s husband was reading the newspaper, while their daughter read a My Little Pony book (Ironic, isn't it?).
“Hey honey.” Lizzy’s husband said flatly as we entered the camp, not even looking up.
“Hello, Carl.” Lizzy responded in the same tone of voice. She sat down her bags, and went over to her husband, where she whispered something in his ear. He kept reading, and she said something that made his head shoot up. He spotted us, and stood up.
“Well, let me-“He started. Lizzy put a hand on his shoulder, and looked at him with sorrowful eyes. Carl sighed, and sat back down.
---------
After we had settled in, and the daughter of Lizzy and Dashie were talking, I started unpacking our “things” into the tent Lizzy lent us. It was small, but it was something. I made my side on the right, and Dashie’s on the left. As I finished my things, and coming to realize Dashie’s bag was nowhere to be found, I left the camp and walked back to the car. After a quick search, I found her bag, and began walking back. I was stopped, however, as Twilight and the other four ponies teleported in front of me, making me jump back.
“Rainbow Dash murdered Princess Luna, and you murdered Pinkie Pie.” Fluttershy began.
“We are here to take y’all to the princess for punishment.” Applejack finished for her. I had come unarmed, which was a terrible thing to do. I remembered reading a fan fiction where if you injured the horn of a unicorn, he/she wouldn’t be able to cast magic.
“Good luck trying to catch us.” I stated as I tackled Twilight. I bent her horn, causing her to scream in pain. I felt terrible having to do this, but I had to. Applejack bucked me off of Twilight, but I had already prevented her from casting magic. I scrambled up, grabbed Dashie’s bag, and took off for the forest, with the other ponies following. As I was near the entrance, Dashie came out of the forest. We made eye contact, and I saw her do something unbelievable. Instead of running away, she took the knife she used to fight back at the garage, and hurled it. The knife struck Applejack in her skull, and sunk in. I could hear the “thud” of her body as it hit the ground, and the other ponies gasp and give up the chase.
Dashie and I ran into the camp, out of breath. Lizzy came out, and looked worried.
“What happened?” She asked. Dashie caught her breath before I did.
“Long story short, the one named Applejack is dead.” She said solemnly. Lizzy looked at the ground, and approached us.
“Why in the world would you go back out there anyways?!?!” She asked in a frantic tone. I held up Dashie’s bag, and she nodded her head.
It was nice unpacking Dashie’s things. I saw what she had in ponyville, and what she kept. She had a blanket, a teddy bear that she slept with, (Dashie denied she slept with it, but I have photo evidence), An MP3 player with music, and a photo album of her life (I could see she removed the embarrassing pictures). After setting up her side of the tent we where sharing, Lizzy called that it was Dinner. We walked out, and saw it was Grilled Chicken, salad, and cake for dessert.
As usual, I didn’t allow Dashie to get the meat, for she was (Supposed) to be vegan. But I sometimes cracked and let her have a little cheese.
“How long will you allow us to stay here?” I asked the family. Carl looked at Lizzy, and then spoke.
“After speaking, we’ll allow you to stay for one month at the most, and then you need to leave.” He looked at his daughter who was eating cake. “Gotta protect her.” I nodded, signaling I understood.
---------
When we finished dinner, we all stayed around the campfire and told each other funny stories, and then we retired to our tents. As we got ready for bed, I saw Dashie, out of the corner of my eye, take the teddy bear, and stuff it under the covers of the sleeping bag Lizzy let her borrow. I got a smirk on my face, and let that slide.
“Goodnight Dad.” Dashie said sleepily as she rolled over. I knelt down beside her, and kissed her lightly on her cheek.
“Goodnight, Dashie.”
-----------
I was awoken suddenly by a loud sound and a foul stench. It was pitch black, and it took me a while to wake up. There was a groan, and I looked around. I had to grab my phone to see, and looked around. Dashie was still on her sleeping bag, sleeping peacefully.
Or so I thought.
Upon closer examination, I could see the sleeping bag was soaked in a substance. I carefully stood up, and walked over to her.
“Dashie?” I asked my voice barely above a whisper. I shined the phone light on her, and I saw what had woken me up. She was sweating, and her sleeping bag was soaked in her sweat. I could see she had vomited on her sleeping bag and on the ground next to her. Fear and concern had swept over me
“Oh God” I muttered to myself as I quickly crawled back to my bag and got out my flashlight (which was also a lantern). I clicked it on, and crawled back over to Dashie. I put my hand on her forehead. She was unbelievably warm. I looked at my phone, and I saw she has opened her eyes.
“W-w-wha?” She muttered incoherently. She looked at me, and opened her mouth to speak, but she instead turned her head and vomited up blood. I quickly and gently picked her up, and stepped out of the tent. The night was silent, except for the crickets. The cool fall wind hit my face as I looked around. Lizzy and her family were still sleeping in their tents. I began walking towards the river Lizzy had told us about during dinner.
“Where is it?” I thought to myself as I wandered around the forest with Dashie in my arms. I looked around a tree, and I saw it. “Yes!’ I whispered as I jogged towards it. I stuck my hand in the water. It was cold, almost freezing. I slowly got in, trying to ignore the coldness. I slowly lowered my arms, until Dashie’s body hooves were underwater. She squirmed, and fell out of my arms and into the river. I swooped down, and grabbed her, bringing her back into my arms.
“Where are we?!?!” She asked, clearly delirious from her unknown illness.
“Shh, it’s ok.” I quietly said as I tried to put her hooves in the water again. She retracted them, and looked at me.
“But I don’t wanna!” She exclaimed.
“I know, but it’ll help you.” I said as I stroked her mane. She looked at me, then at the water. Dashie let out a sigh, and dropped her head. I dipped her in the water slowly, until her entire body except her head was submerged in the water. I left her like that for a minute, and then I took her out and climbed out of the river.
---------
We were sitting against a tree with me legs crossed. Dashie’s rear was on my legs, while the rest of her body was leaning on mine and her head resting on my shoulder. I had my arms wrapped around her upper body as she tried to fall asleep. I felt a warm substance running down my legs, and saw that Dashie had urinated on my legs. The illness clearly had taken a toll on her, and she clearly had no control on her body.
“Sorry, daddy” She said as she groaned.
“It’s ok.” I responded quietly. We sat in silence until Dashie had fallen asleep. I grabbed my shirt which has been drying on a tree branch, and laid it out on the ground. I laid her down on my damp shirt, and then sat back against the tree. I gazed at the stars, until I drifted off into an anxious sleep.
Chapter 8: Possession
The sun was rising when I opened my eyes. It was dawn, and the woods were quiet. Dashie still slept on my lap as if the night before never happened.
“Hey, wake up” I said as I put my hand on her forehead. She was no longer ill, which I was thankful for, but something still didn’t seem quite right. The Pegasus slowly opened her eyes, and let out a yawn.
“Wh-where are we?” She asked sleepily. Dashie looked at her surroundings, and realized we weren’t in the tent.
“Do you remember last night?” I asked softly. She looked at me with a perplexed face.
“No….” She looked out at the river. “What happened? Didn’t I sleep all night?” She became worried, as if she as well sensed something else was out of place. I hoisted her off of my lap, and I stood up. Her urine still wet on my shorts, I cringed at the warm liquid.
“Uh, you ok?” Dashie asked as she saw me cringe in disgust. I looked at my ruined shorts, then back at her, simply delivering a nod. She shrugged, and looked at the river again. I removed my shirt, and hopped into the river to hopefully rid of the foul smell. After a few minutes, and my shorts all clean, I put my shirt back on and began heading towards the camp.
“H-hey! Wait for me!” Dashie shouted as she galloped to keep up with me. I picked up my pace as she tried to keep up with me. “No fair! You got a head start!” She called out to me. I was now jogging, and I looked back to see Dashie on the ground. Because of her incident last night, I got worried, and rushed back. I knelt down beside her, and checked her pulse.
“Psych!” She shouted as she got up and ran away. I smiled, not surprised I was fooled by her tricks.
“Cheater!” I called out as I began running. I caught up to her and tackled her. We rolled around in the dead leaves, laughing.
-2 Weeks Later-
I’m starting to worry for Dashie. She’s become very sensitive lately, and lashes out in anger a lot. This was never like her, and I wonder why she is doing this. She is also spending a lot of time in the woods alone, muttering a language I’ve never heard before. It sounds unnatural, almost as if she has been possessed. When I try asking her if everything ok, she says yes, but something in her eyes says no. Like she has been trapped inside her own body, screaming for help.
I followed her again today because she brought a knife with her out in the woods. She didn’t go far before she sat down and muttered in that same language I’ve never heard before. I watched in fear as she began to cut herself, blood dripping from the cuts she made. I slowly made my way too her, horrified at the sight.
“D-dashie?” I asked in a low whisper.
“I’m fine” She growled at me.
“Are you sure?” I questioned as I got a bit closer.
“I SAID I’M FINE!” She bellowed as she turned around. Her voice sounded demonic, and her eyes were glowing red. After looking at what HAD been my daughter, I spoke up.
“W-what’s happened to you?” I said in a hoarse voice.
“Nothing, I told you I’m fine, now piss off.” She said as her eyes returned to normal. My daughter had never cursed, at least not at me. Before she could cut herself any further, I tackled her and tried to grab the knife. She was much stronger than I thought, and she bucked me off her. I flew back until hitting a tree, and had the wind knocked out of me.
“Ready to die?” She hissed as she slowly walked towards me, her eyes red again, her voice demonic, and her teeth as sharp as a lions. I Tried to stand up, but I couldn’t find the strength too, like someone was holding me down or the life had been drained from my body. As she towered over me, she whispered in my ear:
“Goodnight, dad”
Chapter 9: Found
I woke up with a shout.
I quickly looked around to see I was back in the tent. After thanking God I was still alive, I looked over to see that Dashie was not in her sleeping bag.
The humid air assaulted my face as I stepped out of our tent. Lizzy was staring at the campfire, clearly worried about something. Her husband and daughter were still asleep. She looked up and saw me.
“Thank God you are awake! I can't find my daughter Elle! Carl went out to try and find her, but he hasn't come back in hours!”
I put a hand on her shoulder. “Dashie is gone too. I’ll go look for the three of them, you stay here.” Lizzy nodded, and I packed a few things I needed, and went out into the forest.
--------
Being a drug dealer has its perks. I know when someone is trying to cover something up, and I knew Lizzy was hiding something. I had no idea what, but it wasn’t good. She had been faithful, always buying Cocaine for a fair price. I had no idea if she consumed It or what, but she looks like she’s NEVER had any drugs in her lifetime.
I spotted some hoof prints in the dirt, and knelt down to inspect them. They were too big to be Dashie’s, so I suspected a stallion or colt.
“Hello, human.”
I whipped around to see the mane six (what was left of them, anyway) and the Princess. I drew out my magnum, only to have it torn away by magic from Twilight.
“The human said you’d be looking for Rainbow, and she’s lucky that you did.” The Princess said grimly.
“What do you mean?” I hissed. That’s when Lizzy came out from behind her.
“I’m sorry, Brandon! But they had Carl and Elle, I had no choice!” She pleaded. I nodded at her, which gave her a sigh of relief.
“She held up her bargain, release the two others.” Celestia ordered to Twilight. She nodded, and her horn began to glow. A white flash of light occurred, and Ellie and Carl were standing in front of Celestia. Lizzy rushed to embrace them, but Celestia’s horn glowed, and they disappeared. Lizzy looked confused and hurt.
“We had a deal!” She said, turning to the Princess.
“We did, but you must make a choice now.” Her horn glowed again, and Elle and Dashie appeared on tree, tied and gagged around the base. Lizzy was teleported in front of them, and a knife was given to her.
“You must kill one or the other. If you refuse, they both die. If the other human rushes, they both die.” She said, turning to me. Lizzy looked at me with a worried face, and I gave her the same face back. She looked at the knife, then at her daughter and Dashie. Both had tears pouring from their eyes, and they both were bruised and beaten.
Lizzy walked over to Dashie, and raised her knife into the air.
“LIZZY!” I shouted.
She then quickly turned around, and hurled the knife at the group of ponies. The knife struck Rarity in the eye, and her corpse hit the ground with a thud.
I pulled out my handgun I had concealed, and fired at the Princess. She quickly made a magic shield around herself, Twilight and Fluttershy.
“LIZZY! UNTIE THE GIRLS!” I commanded. Lizzy got to work as I taunted Celestia.
“Why don’t you come out from that shield? Or are you too afraid? You poor excuse for an alicorn!” I spat. Celestia’s face turned to pure anger.
“YOU SHALL NOT TREAT ME OR MY LOYAL SUBJECTS LIKE THAT!” She roared, flying up in her shield. It burst, and I was sent flying back. I hit a tree hard, and fell to the ground with a thud. I moaned in pain as I tried to get up, but Celestia’s hoof pushed down on me and held me to the ground.
“Your life end now!” She said as her horn glowed. My body felt like it was being torn limb from limb. As the pain grew, I moaned louder and louder until I let out a scream. Right when I was about to die, a shot rang out, and Celestia cried out, falling to the ground. Her spell was broken, and I looked over to see Lizzy with a revolver in her hand, Elle in another, and Dashie wrapped around her neck like a dog.
I hopped up and rushed over to them, and grabbed Dashie.
“Are you ok?” I asked. She was still in pain from the beating she took, but she looked fine enough to not need any medical treatment.
“Yea. I’m ok, I guess. A bit bruised, but I’m fine otherwise.” She smiled as she wrapped her hooves around my neck. “I’m just glad you’re ok”
I hugged her back, and looked at Lizzy, who was checking on Elle. I looked back at Celestia, who had disappeared, as well as Twilight and Fluttershy, but I could see her blood when Lizzy had shot her.
“Nice shot.” I said to Lizzy. She smiled.
“I was aiming for her head, but my hand shaking plus the wind didn't help much, so I ended up shooting her waist.”
“As long as she’s been shot, that’s all I care about.” I said in response. “Let’s get back to camp, we need to start packing up and move.”
“Ok, we can still use the car, since-“She stopped.
“What’s wrong?” I asked
“What about Carl?”
Chapter 10: No, Not Yet...
I looked at Lizzy with a blank expression.
“Go search for him. I’ll take Dashie and Elle back to camp with me.” Lizzy nodded, and ran off into the woods. I scoured the area for my magnum, and once I found it, Dashie, Ellie and I headed back to camp.
“Where did you, Carl, and Ellie go?” I asked Rainbow.
“Well, I woke up in a small room with Twilight and the princess. They told me I was about to be punished for my “Crimes” against Equestria, and they beat me with-“
I put my hand on her snout. “Ok, ok. I get it.” She looked at me with sad eyes.
“It really hurt. I think Twilight was enjoying it.” I picked up the Pegasus and embraced her. “You’re ok now” I whispered in her ear before putting her back down. She smiled at me, and then trotted back to camp.
--------------
I had decided it would be best if Dashie and I left camp. I didn't want to put Lizzy and her family in danger again. We packed our things and waited until Lizzy came back to camp.
After a few hours, Lizzy walked into camp with a very injured Carl. Ellie ran up and embraced both of them.
“Daddy!” She exclaimed as she hugged him.
“Not so tight, Sweete.” He stated as he loosened her grip on him.
“Sorry, daddy.” She said apologetically. Carl hugged her.
“It’s ok, just be light, alright?” Elle nodded and ran off. I walked up to him to tell him that we were leaving.
“After today’s events, I’ll- “
“If it wasn't for you and that bitch of yours, we wouldn't be in this situation!” He suddenly snapped at me.
“What did you call my daughter?” I asked a hint of rising anger in my voice.
“Yea. She’s a little BITCH.” He said mockingly.
I then lashed out at him, landing a punch to his jaw. Carl stumbled back, but quickly regained his balance.
“I’LL KILL YOU!” He shouted as he pulled out a revolver and fired at me. I dashed behind a tree, and pulled out my own magnum. I blind fired one bullet, nearly missing him. He ran into a tent, and I pounded the tent with lead until my clip ran out. He slowly walked out, with Dashie in his arms. He had shot her in the waist, (I can tell the different between the kinds of bullet wounds), and she was trying to break free.
“LET HER GO!” I bellowed from behind the tree.
“I think it’s time she goes to ANOTHER world.” He said as he tightened the hand around her neck. She choked, and pounded her hoof at his hand.
“Let-me-go.” She managed to get out. He hit her with the butt of the revolver, causing her to cry out.
“Shut up.” He snapped at her. He put the revolver to her head, now red because of her crying.
“Say goodbye to your little b-“He suddenly dropped her and fell to his knees, clutching his shoulder. Dashie scrambled away, and took cover behind a tree. I saw a small knife sticking out of his shoulder, and looked to the direction it came from.
Lizzy was standing, a few yards away, with a knife in her hand. She threw the other knife, and it stuck in Carl’s neck. He gasped, and gurgled, blood coming from his mouth. He then fell to the ground and lay still.
I ran over to where Dashie took cover, and saw her leaning against the tree, covered in her own blood. Her eyes were half open due to the wound, and was about to go any second.
I knelt beside her, cut part of my shirt with the knife I kept on me, and dressed the wound. She looked up at me and smiled.
“Thanks daddy. For everything.”
She then closed her eyes, and exhaled.
Intermission: Love
When someone you love dies, you feel a sense of sorrow and joy. It can be a bitter-sweet mixture; sorrow that you may never see them again, and joy that you know they are in a better place. You somehow go into a state of shock when you either hear about or witness the death of one you love, not wishing to accept the fate of their life. Death is something can break someone down, ruin their life, just by simply taking away a person. Memories begin to flood your mind of the loved one. When they were young. Especially when your daughter is the one death has claimed. Her first bath, her first words, her first birthday, and when the words “I love you” come out from her mouth. After the wave of memories and emotions, questions fill your mind. “What could I have done? Could I have stopped her death? Will she remember me? Why am I such a horrible parent?”
Love is something very powerful. Love is a force to not be reckoned with. It is not a toy or something that can be manipulated. It is something we have been given, and it should be cherished. It is better to love and have a heartbreak than to never love at all.
“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal”

Chapter 11: Abandoned
I woke up with a sharp pain in my side. It was nighttime, and I could barely see a thing.
“Hello?” I called out, hoping someone would answer. No one did. I tried standing up, but fell back down with a cry of pain. Whatever had injured me, it was bad. I started to crawl away from the tree I was leaning against, and back towards the camp.
After I had reached the camp, it wasn't hard to realize that it was no longer a camp, just a big pile of rubble. There were quite a few dead ponies and bullet shells among the ground, along with the flattened tents and broken containers. Spotting a medical kit next to a pony, I crawled until I reached it, and opened it.
“Dammit, empty.” I cursed under my breath. “Wait, what’s this?” There was a small pill in the box. I had no idea what it was, but in this case, I didn’t care. I swallowed the pill and closed the box. After deciding it would be best to explore the camp that is what I decided to do. I slowly crawled to the first then and looked underneath. Nothing. I crawled to the second. Nothing. As I was crawling to the third, I discovered my side wasn’t hurting, so I stood up very slowly. I then walked to the third and final tent, I lifted it up, and found a shocking discovery.
“Lizzy?”
-----------------
Brandon looked at the corpse leaning up against the tree. She looked so peaceful…
“DAMMIT!” He bellowed, throwing his desert eagle across the camp. He slumped down and sobbed next to Rainbow’s body.
“I couldn’t protect her…” He mumbled to himself. “I DIDN’T protect her…”
“Brandon?”
The grieving father looked up, and saw Lizzy walking towards him. He stood up right as she made it to him.
“There you are! I’ve been-“She spotted the corpse of the Pegasus. “Oh God. Brandon, I’m so sorry.”
He offered nothing in response, only silence. As he was staring at Rainbow, he suddenly remembered something.
“I cannot believe it.” He stated to no one in particular. Lizzy looked at him with a bewildered look on her face.
“What?” She asked in response. Her response, however, was a punch to the face. She was sent stumbling back, nose bleeding.
“W-what the hell?!” She exclaimed.
“I’m not stupid, Lizzy. I know Celestia hired you and Carl to kill us. Remember when you stated, “My husband and I do things together?” Well, OBVIOUSLY you were in on this!”
Lizzy slowly got up, hands raised in the air. “Ok, maybe I did, but I regret it now! I’m sorry!”
“SORRY?!?!” The enraged father shouted. “SHE’S FUCKING DEAD! YOU HEAR ME? DEAD!” Lizzy looked at Brandon, fear in her eyes. She slowly backed up until she fell onto a tent, knocking it down. Brandon walked up to her with Carl’s hunting rifle in hand.
“L-look, I know I made a mistake, but p-please! Give me another chance! I’ll make it up to you, I promise!”
“There are no second chances.” Brandon stated.
A shot rang out through the forest.
My Little Dashie: Canceled
As you can see, MLD is being canceled for two main reasons:
1) Since it is my first story, it has gain more dislikes than likes. I know there are people who love it, but i have more popular stories to work on and life is a bit busy at the moment.
2) I wanted to go an ENTIRELY different direction with MLD, and wanted to get chapters out forced me to abandon that desire, and that, i beleive, is the main reason i have so many dislikes (If i kept the orginal idea, i beleive there would be ALOT more likes)
I want to thank those who liked the story and gave me feedback, and apologize to those who loved the story and wanted more. I have created one short story called Payday: The Heist and i am working on my more popular series called Life's Last Breath. I will provide links at the end.
Stay awesome bronies,
