Twilight Sparkle roamed throughout the halls of the castle, excited and worried. Her thoughts tried to think up of ways on how her brother, who has been dead for months, survived the burning of the hotel room that he was in. Why was he there in the first place? She understood that their marriage hasn't been going the way that they both wanted to. Maybe he was investigating something! The two ponies who were watching the hotel that night did say he was there to investigate a murder. But then Derpy did mention that he was with Chrysalis! He's being held captive and is being her slave.

All these jumble of thoughts came to a halt when she entered the throne room, seeing her friends look up at her in confusion, disapproval, and anxiety, waiting for the results of what Rainbow Dash calls it: Egghead Stuff.

"He's alive." Twilight said to them. While everyone had their time of unusual or funny reactions, she didn't notice until she was met with a big giant hug by Pinkie Pie.

"THIS IS GREAT NEWS, TWILIGHT! It's amazing; I didn't think he would be alive after all this time! Where is he, though? He shouldn't have been late or anything! Look at the shit that's happen all because of him!"

"Pinkie, language!" Rarity scolded her.

"But she's right. Ah've always thought that this here war is going too far. All 'cuz of revenge. And now he's alive and well, probably hidden away." Applejack said as she drank her apple cider.

"You've sent a letter to the princess about this, r-right?" Fluttershy asked Twilight nervously, not wanting to invoke the Twilight that glared daggers at Derpy earlier today. The day was slowly coming to an end and the candles flickered on as the sun was setting. Twilight Sparkle nodded and sat on a chair, resting her head in her arms.

"You're really exhausted, dear. Just rest a little bit and-"

"How can I?! My brother is out in Changeling Town under Chrysalis' spell, probably getting raped by her but he's forced to like it! Oh my f- Flash Sentry!" She yelled out his name before dropping another swear. He came to her side and saluted.

"Yes, Princess Twilight?" He said in an official voice.

"You don't have to be formal. How many times do I-...ugh, never mind. Is there any scouting parties that can go to the Changeling Empire?"

"Yeah, there's one about to head off soon."

"Tell them of their new objective: See if Shining Armor is alive. Go, now!" Flash Sentry nodded and ran out of the throne room, the echoing of his armor vibrating off the walls until he was gone. A sigh escaped her lips, hoping they would come back in a few days time to gather intelligence.

"How are you so sure he isn't alive right now?" Rainbow Dash asked bluntly. Twilight turned her head toward her harshly, nearly getting a whiplash.

"What do you mean by that?!" Twilight's voice held a bit of doubt, but also venom to her voice. She didn't like what Rainbow Dash would have to say about the whole ordeal.

"I know you think he's captured by Chrysalis and all that, but with Derpy's sudden interruption, wouldn't that mean that the jig is up for her?

"That...you make me seriously worried about that." Twilight felt that Rainbow Dash was right about that. He could be dead for all they know. And it wasn't Derpy's fault. She didn't want to pin the blame on a sweet, albeit dumb pony.

"But your brother is royalty, after all! He is the Prince of the Crystal Empire and a brother to a Princess. Surely, she wouldn't be that daft as to do something like that!" Rarity insisted, quelling away all fears in Twilight. Rainbow Dash nodded and agreed before another set of clanking armor was approaching.

"Twilight! An unknown carriage has broken through the shield and it's coming toward the castle! We gotta get you out of he-" A thud sound hit him on the back of his head, knocking him unconscious. As four figures appeared out of thin air, a crashing carriage barraged through the entrance.

"How did you know that Rakshasa had an invisibility spell?" Cadence asked as they whisked into a nearby alleyway.

"Umm, well...I'd love to tell, but telling you would make me sweat profusely and I'd rather not reveal our position." Clear-Cut whispered. They triggered an alarm when they passed through the magic barrier while Rakshasa went in, disguised as a normal citizen pony, with yellow fur, a blue mane, and a good bust that helped coerce the guard that let her in. The other guards behind them continued to look around for any hostile threats before continuing their search.

They got out of the alley and saw that there were barely any citizens around. The occasional mare and kids, scrawny looking stallions working on the store, and nobles, who had their maids or butlers replace them during the draft, walked around to enjoy the day, despite the shield looming over them. The castle was in sight, but it was surrounded by another shield. Cadence had no doubt that it was Twilight Sparkle holding up the shield. They're going to have to be seriously careful since she was really intelligent and a good replacement for Princess Celestia.

"Ugghhh..." Luna's voice moaned audibly, in pain and fatigue. Cadence gritted her teeth in fear and hoped Clear-Cut was making her as silent as possible. A little foal nearby looked at where Clear-Cut was standing, as he put a rag over her mouth. He heard something, but didn't see where the source was. The foal shrugged and went back to reading his comics.

The spell made them invisible to every pony, though they couldn't see each other as well, so Cadence and Clear-Cut was following Rakshasa, keeping close and making sure they weren't bumping into any pony. Clear-Cut had a harder time because he was carrying Luna in his arms and they had forgotten to tie her hair up in a ponytail. They made it to the castle grounds and saw the guards at their posts. Rakshasa, disguised, tried to go in until a guard stopped her.

"Sorry, but the castle is closed for today. Princess Sparkle requested it that it be so." the guard said to her, being friendly but still authoritative. Rakshasa nodded and walked away to the side. She waited until Cadence and Clear-Cut made their presence known, with some tipped over chairs and a table on a closed cafe. The guard looked over to see that Rakshasa was picking up the table and chairs.

"Sorry, it was just important. I'll fix it." She said back to him. The guard nodded and turned his head back forward. She sighed and looked a little angry. "You guys are such fucking klutz." she glowered her gaze as she whispered.

"If you'd like to carry Luna, be my guest." Clear-Cut commented softly. She sighed and pinched her eyebrows, wondering what to do now.

"I'm an alicorn. I could float you guys and I fly us over the wall." Cadence suggested. Rakshasa smiled, but frowned after a second.

"Remember what happened at the entrance there? Plus, even though if I become invisible, I bet that it'll cause a lot of panic once the alarms set off." She pointed out. A scream was heard from down the street, which got their attention. Outside the shield a small battle was going on between a black carriage for a changeling and a few pegasi guards. A green beam of light hit the shield and it cracked open, heading toward the shielded castle.

"Well, maybe our plan might work!" Cadence yelled as her changeling friend turned invisible. She lifted the three of them up and she flew through the shield at the same time the same green beam of light. They rushed into the castle the same time a guard flew in to warn Twilight Sparkle of the impending danger.

"I'll take care of this." Clear-Cut whispered before he raised his arm.

"If you do any activity besides walking and crouching, the spell will go off!"

"Then so be it."

"Wait!" Both Rakshasa and Cadence jumped at Clear-Cut as he knocked out the guard. Soon, the three of them, plus Luna who landed on the floor, became visible at the same time the carriage crashed through.

"Shit they aren't listening!" He yelled to Chrysalis. She grimaced for a second and her horn started glowing. "No, I wanted you to use diplomacy! I will try to coerce them." Her eyes started to glow green as she walked to the window of the drivers seat. She pushed her bloody escort off of his seat, making him plunge from 500 feet toward the ground. She looked at the shield that protected Canterlot and grinned."Chryssy, no!"

The magic beam coming from her horn blasted out toward the magical shield was powerful. Shining Armor was taken aback by the sheer amount of power that the changeling queen was holding. He remembers all the times he had with Chrysalis. He has given her so much love that she might've been able to take over all of Equestria just by herself.

"Oh fuck..." He muttered.

"Shining, hold on tight! I'm gonna try and land this bird!" Chrysalis said, adjusting the course of the carriage with her magic. He saw a lance go through the window, almost hitting his queen. He grabbed the lance and pulled the assailant in, beating him into unconsciousness. He used to lance to try and ward off the attackers, who believed their captain was still under the influence of the changeling queen.

A sudden drop in altitude made his insides queasy. He looked to Chrysalis and saw her charging up another attack on the shield. If it had not been for her strong magic, they would've crashed into the shield already. He noticed that the color of the shield was none other than-

"Twily!" He gasped.

"Hang on!"

The carriage broke through the walls of the castle, shaking the occupants around as dust and stone filled the room. Shining Armor coughed and sputtered as he got up from the floor of the carriage. His nose and mouth expelled some bodily fluids, bile, and bits of blood as he opened the door. The dust got in his eyes and he rubbed them incessantly. As he was done, he looked up and the dust cleared away to see his sister and wife staring back at him, in both surprise, shock and horror as they held each other by the throat.

A golden light made its presence known as a dark figure seemingly floated down from the heavens. A woman in a mithril dress with many gemstones surrounding the collar of her small armor. Golden outlines traced the edge of her armor and her eyes glowed like the blackest of night. Her eyes gazed to Luna, who was battered, beaten, and scarred from the abuse and rape that Cadence inflicted on her. The Elements of Harmony floated around her as she roared abnormally. Everyone had the same thoughts as Shining Armor.
