Prologue: Before The Gun Was Fired

"You're going to be late for school!" My mother called to me from the living room.
"I'll be there in a second!" I said in reply. It was Thursday and I was sleeping soundly, hoping that my mother would just forget about me. I'm 14 years old, in 8th grade, and I'm a good 5-6 feet tall.
Today started out as a normal day, I had gotten up at the crack of dawn. Taken a shower, put on my New Lunar Republic T-Shirt (I had bought it for the design), all that sort of stuff, but I have no clue what's lying in store for me.

I had walked out to the bus stop, or other wise known as the corner of our street. My family and I lived on a nice street, nice people, ya know, all that jazz. But, yet living on this good street, it always felt like something was missing. Little did I know (Due to the fact that my mother had woken me up at 4:00 A.M.) that there was a man in a black coat at my bus stop. I had, without knowing stood right next to this mysterious man. The man turned to me and held out a gun, demanding that I give him all of my money, I had made the wrong choice and said "Screw you." The second I said this, I knew I was done for. I hoped that the man would let me go, but unfortunally, he didn't. he took the gun, aimed at my forehead, and at that moment the bus had arrived. Then the man shot. I fell backwards, in front of all my friends, bleeding, dead.

Or so I thought...
