Chapter 21: Fuzzy Refractions

Previous Chapter Next Chapter

Fuzzy Refractions

some days i wake up feeling a little dizzy

like i’m an ocean looking up at the sky

and i can’t tell which is which

‘cause i backwards put my glasses on wrong

and i can’t sea straight

the mountains are a bit wobbly at the edges

when you look at them for a while. i think i

can see all the rocks waving from far away

but i might just be looking too hard

when i fly to work i go really fast

because i’m usually late, and i don’t wanna get in trouble

i do okay, but sometimes the window blows the wrong way

and i have to flap my wings a lot

which makes it hard to breeze

some ponies say i’m simple

which i don’t mind. there’s nothing wrong with being happy

i can’t tell them that they’re wrong

every time they ask me what’s on my mind, i have to tell them

absolutely muffin
