     It was a beautiful day in Canterlot Municipal Park, Celestia's sun shined bright in the sky above, the birds and bees were ever busy singing their songs, and collecting their pollen for their honey.  Well the bees collected pollen for their honey anyway, birds didn't collect pollen or make honey of course, that would be rather silly, interesting to see mind you, but silly none the less.   And young fillies and colts were running, frolicking, playing, doing all the things that ponies do on such days as their parents, grandparents and other such guardians watched either from near or afar.  *Some guardians are much more protective then others you see.   And in the middle of it all, sitting on a rather plain looking picnic blanket watching a young purple unicorn play with a rather odd looking doll named "Smarty Pants" was a cute, skinny, and dare I say curvaceous young alicorn princess in training, the young and lovable Mi Amore Cadenza, or as she preferred to be addressed "Cadence"

  "Cadence, look look!  Smarty Pants can fly!"  The unicorn filly said with glee as she levitated her doll in the air.

  "I can see that Twilight"  Cadence said chuckling.

"Although you might want to be careful, I hear that once dolls learn to fly, they will use their new skill to look for new colts & fillies to play with if the one currently befriended to them is unsatisfactory"  Cadence said in a mischievous tone.

  Instantly Twilight's magic broke and the doll came plummeting to the ground, she picked it up, and in her best impression of the royal Canterlot voice screamed "HOW DARE YOU THINK OF LEAVING ME MS. SMARTY PANTS, DON'T EVER THINK SUCH THOUGHTS AGAIN OR OFF TO THE DUNGEON WITH YOU!!!"  Twilight said with a stern look on her face.

  Cadence just stared at the filly and burst out into laughter "HAHAHA, Twilgiht, HAHAHA" *as you can tell Cadence is very easy to make laugh and often has trouble starting once she has stopped*  "T, Twilight where did you learn such a horrid habit!?  Its not nice to yell at ones friends you know!"

  "But Celestia yells at the guards when they get her the kind of wrong ice-cream or cake from Doughnut Joe's"  Twilight retorted.

"Well, that may be true, but between you and me, I think Auntie Celestia just likes to be silly like that some times, all that hard work and royal duties she has to attend to, not to mention raising the sun, she has to find some way to blow of steam I guess, even if it means scaring the help once in awhile."  Cadence said, pondering weather or not the mental state of her aunt really was in decline as her parents had once told her in jet.  "None the less, its not right to yell at your friends, well not unless theres a really good reason, like if there in danger or something like that, OK?"  Cadence said to the filly with a calm, loving smile on her face.

"OK Cadence, I won't yell, unless its absolutely necessary"  Twilight replied.

"Now thats a good gir-"  But before Cadence could finish her sentence, Twilight screamed at the top of her lungs..

"OH MY GIA!  CADENCE BEHIND YOU A HORRIBLE BUG LADY!  RUN!!!"  The filly shrieked

  "Ugg, Twilight What Did I just..."  But again before Cadence could finish she felt Twilights magic flip her around, and there she saw it, a changeling, strolling casually in the park, the changeling was long, tall and skinny,  kind of like Cadence, well if Cadence was an ugly black bug lady with green hair & cheese-hole legs.

  Cadence & Twilight looked on as the long, lanky changeling walked casually down the road of the park, earth ponies, pegausi & unicorns alike all running in fear from the creature they saw only as a monster.  The changeling however seemed un phased by this, she just chuckled and continued her stroll, enjoying the sounds of both the screams of the ponies and the beautiful chirping of birds and buzzing of bees.

"I, i'm sc-scared Cadence"  Twilgiht said in a somewhat loud whisper.

  "Now now Twilight, theres no need to be like that."  Cadence said with a slight stammer in her voice

"B-But C-Changlings are, are...well there EVIL!"  Twilight said in a high, shrill voice.

" TWILIGHT!  Cadence said, shaking the young filly off her leg, staring at her sternly " Now, its true changelings don't have the best reputations in Equestria, even griffons and diamond dogs, which are also considered ruffians by many don't care for their lot.  However..."  Cadence began

"However what?"  Twilight asked

"Don't interrupt me when i'm trying to say a heart-felt speech Twilight"  Cadence looked down at the filly, trying her best to impersonate her aunt Celestia's serious face.

"S-Sorry" Twilight stammered.

" Don't worry, s'all good"  Cadence said.  "Anywho where was I, oh yes... Even though changelings may not have the best of reputations, they are still ponies, just like you and me, showing such contempt, fear and hatred for a fellow pony you don't even know, well, its just, its just rude.  All ponies deserve friendship and love, no matter what they may look like on the outside, she may not be as easy on the eyes as well, me for example." Cadence said somewhat vainly.  "But she's still a pony, and i'm sure if we just got to know her, we would both find out she's not that bad.  Infact, lets do that, come along now Twilight, were going to make a new friend!"  Cadence said with enthusiasm.

"Ahh, I really don't think we'll have to do that" The filly Twilight said.

"Oh, and why is that?"  Cadence asked.

"Cause she's right behind you."

"What!?"  Cadence shrieked quickly turning around and jumping nearly a foot back.

"well, that was a rather lovely speech you gave there"  the changeling hissed "almost melted my heart, or would if I had one"  She said with a rather intimidating look in her eye.

"O-oh, hello there Ms."  Cadence said in a rather nervous tone. "I, you, you heard all that" She said, blushing.

"Yes I did, its nice to know some ponies in this town have enough class not to judge a book by its cover, even if they are still somewhat vain about it."  The changeling said in a haughty tone.

  "Um yes, well ahh, thank you, you see, well, as a princess in training and self-appointed best foal sitter in Equestria, I-I of course do my best to teach the young ones to have a good moral compass, and I myself strive to do the same of course, wouldn't want to let Auntie Celestia down you know."  Cadence said with a fake smile.  

The changeling just stood there and stared at her, nervous, shaking, and sweating just by being in the presence of the bug like equine Cadence was quickly trying think of ways to break the ice.  "ah-ah, n-nice pony-tail you've got there, I-I see its a popular hairstyle this year no matter where you are I guess."  Cadence said smiling nervously.

"I guess"  The changeling replied.  "So, your a princess in training eh, thats pretty impressive, I can't claim to have such a cute title, my names just Chrysalis, well I guess in full it would be Chrysalis, future queen of the changelings!"  The bug-pony said with a smirk and a somewhat maniacal *yet still cute* laugh.
