Chapter 1

Hi if you don't know me , but you probably do anyway, my name is Fluttershy. Cute huh? My cutie mark is a bunch of pink butterflies indicating that my talent i getting along with animals. This would usually be the moment where you say that's so cool. But trust me it is not. I have chores like washing every creature in the forest and feeding them and caring for them every single day. My first 6 years of knowing my cutie mark was awesome. But now I want to do something else. I've had enough of demanding bunnies and yeah I think you get the picture. So you want to know my past here it is nothing you would find even remotely entertaining. So lets just get on with my boring life(A/N I know it is kind of a negative beginning but trust me it will get better).
Lets just say the better part of my life will be starting soon.
"Hey Fluttershy!" screamed Rainbowdash. She was flying right above me and she looked like she had seen a ghost. I managed a weak smile.
"What is it? " I whispered. I was a bit alarmed but knowing her its probably another nest of butterflies that love her cloud home. I mentally rolled my eyes.
"Go to the lake to see yourself. Come on quick!" and she literally dragged me there. I looked and saw nothing."No your reflection" I looked and almost screamed from happiness and horror. Happiness because my cutie mark was gone and I could start over but horror because well.... I had a huge bulge on my forehead. And it was glowing.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" and I finally screamed.
'wow I am leaving the critters' 'YES!!!!!!'

"We are going to see twilight" Rainbow declared, but then looked uncertain "or Celestia" she quietly mumbled. So we rushed out and in the middle of the path stands a bunny dash stops so fast that I fling off her back(she was carrying me because I fainted) and crashed in Twilight's upstairs window.
'Ouch,

"Oh, Fluttershy are you ok?" Twilight exclaimed with concern written all over her face.

"I-I'm f-fine "I stuttered. "I'm s-sorry about you window"

"It's fine now what did you come for"she asked while helping me stand myself.
'Really anyone with half a brain would know why'

"Because my cutie mark disappeared and I have a huge bulge in the top of my forehead otherwise nothing" I said like she just asked me if the sky was blue with the tone of duh!

"Oh right!" And she trotted away with me in tow. She got a few books off the shelf and she started to read and read and with every book I started to get more nervous and more nervous who wouldn't she looks like she is about to faint, her eyes were as wide as Luna's moon, her hooves trembled and her mouth was hanging open. Then she quickly shut the books and threw it in the fire.
"Twilight what did it say?" I asked hoping she would tell me but knowing she threw the books in the fire for a reason.
"Fluttershy this is something that the princesses have to tell you in person" she said in a very serious tone, that said I'm not telling you."But don't worry I'll write to them a letter stating what I have read and a few important questions of my own"
"OK so I'll see you tomorrow"I said hoping that that was the day I'll know what was going on. And left Twilight to research. I went to my cottage and saw all the critters asleep and smiled.
'They are still really cute' and I trotted up to my bed and with a large yawn went to bed and dreamed....
The Dream

I was in a palace but it wasn't the one owned by the princesses. It was instead of purple,pink and with trimmings of gold like the one owned by the princesses it was a light aqua, a grass green , a sea blue with trimmings of silver. I walked down a corridor and saw the thrown room that was empty save the big royal chairs and tons of pictures. I started looking at them one by one carefully and saw that most pictures were of Celestia and an alicorn I did not know. In each they were doing different activities but from the looks on their faces I saw pure happiness and joy and something else that I couldn't identify.
And then I looked at a door who had no handle or visible way to get in. I tried but before I could touch the door......

I woke up. I looked out the window to see that Celestia's sun was just peeking over. I decided to go to the wild flower plain. Its called the wild flower plain because it was bewitched to be forever spring. I went out of the house very quietly witch knowing me wasn't very difficult. As I got there I settled down on the evergreen grass. Looking at the beauty before me.
Then I heard somepony starting to sing so softly but had a deep note that told me it was a stallion that was singing. And just before I could fall asleep the singer showed his coat was gleaming gold in the sunshine, his eyes were like emeralds and his mane was(pick a color). And I caught site of a set of wings and a tall horn. He was an alicorn. But before I could think that that was impossible I fell into a deep dreamless sleep with his perfect image in my mind.

Chapter 2

I woke up, but kept my eyes closed. I felt like Rainbow Dash would say AWESOME! My heart was beating a hundred miles an hour with a slight blush caressing my cheeks with a soft pink. And wow I dreamed I saw the sunrise and then a the stallion of my dreams all of a sudden singing a beautiful lullaby. But it was so real. HEY! Wait a minute in my dream he was glowing he put an adoration spell on me. No.......... he glowed from the sunrise. Well my critters are waiting. Mental sigh.
I opened my eyes. At first I felt slightly confused. Where was I? Then it hit me..hard. It wasn't a dream ,it was real. 'Wow............. IT WAS REAL! ' .Mental happy dance . 'I wonder why he came? No first - Who was he ? And was he a prince only royals are alicorns? Why was he singing to me? What were words of the song?' . My mind was swirling from questions. And my memory was really fuzzy, but I do remember a few words,don't I? I racked my brains for the answer to at least one of my billions of questions. Aha ! 'I remember a line !it was sleep little pony for you to wake a queen. the stars are shining brightly for your glory shall be seen. Well that was so cute. ' .My heart did a little flutter. 'I better see if Twilight has a lullaby book maybe he gave me a clue!'But first things first - critters.'

I trotted back to my cottage. Opened the door and......
"EVERY CRITTER OUT" I yelled. I smiled big. I lost my talent there for I don't want to end up tied so better get them out, out, out. I looked but they were already gone. 'You gotta love freedom!'. I combed my mane and decided that I wanted to look different today. Because well who knows I might see mr. dreamy......well I didn't know his name so that's what I'm calling him.
'I guess I'm going to Rarity's boutique for a new mane style. She would be proud of me' I thought with a giggle. So I went down the dirt road. And saw a pony trotting to me with a smile. He saw me and that smile instantly vanished. He gasped. I got worried so went over to see what's wrong.
"Hello, are you Ok? I asked. He looked like he was going to faint. His breathing got hard.

"I'm fine. Thank you for asking your majesty" he said and bowed so low.
'Wait..What? Your Majesty?' I was beyond shocked. 'No he probably fell in to what looked like a bow and hit his head so he got amnesia and when he saw me and what position he was in he probably thought I was royal and called me your majesty. Yup!' . But I still wasn't sure that my happy tale was true. But before I could question him he was already gone. 'probably went to see a doctor because he couldn't remember anything' . Still not so sure that happened. Oh well. I continued trotting along the path and got to the bridge. I looked at the pond. M-my reflection stared back at me. But it was a total stranger.

My mane and tail were glittering and they were much longer. My blob on my forehead wasn't there but a pink horn that was quite tall for an average unicorn and my wings..wow. They had turned bigger and stronger, maybe even stronger than RainbowDashes. And at the end the rim of the wings were pink. I looked a bit like Celestia. Her eyes, when she was younger her mane and tail were just like mine. 'Weird, no wonder the guy was bowing I do look like royalty.'

Just then a big gust of wind threw me into the lake. 'I forgot about today's planned wind storm.' I splashed into the lake! SPLASH! The currents were pulling me under water. I tried to swim up. Then a large wave pushed me out of the water. I took a large breath. I tried to swim ashore, I really tried but the lake was pulling in to it's depths. I had black spots in my vision, I didn't know a spell to use my brand new horn and I was losing consciousness fast! I thrashed and was fighting the currant.
But then the water around me glowed a soft gold. My body relaxed but I still couldn't breath. I felt as if someone was pulling me out of the water with a soft blanket. I rose out of the thrashing and splashing waves and on to a sandy shore. I tried to get up but my body wouldn't move with the soft gold glow that was keeping me in place. 'What is it?' I wondered. 'It's probably a spell, I looked around trying to find the source of that spell that possibly saved my life. But I couldn't it's source was in what looked like a tropical forest. The magic finally settled, leaving me ready to go see what happened. I looked around, but I couldn't clarify if a knew this place or not. The jungle looked full of life! It was a bright green! The weird colourful fruits and animals. The endless song of birds, the the endless greetings from critters and the soft gold glow of the sun shining through the canopy of the trees.
I woke up. 'I guess it was a dream'. I opened my eyes and saw the same stallion looking down at me with worry written all over his face.
"H-hey, what ha-hapend t-to m-me?" I stuttered, because of the water in my throat and because well.. come on I was talking to mr. dreamy here!
"Well I saw you in the water half-drowned I put a spell on you so I could get you out of the water. How are you feeling?" he said, his voice as beautiful as ever. And wow he still looks amazing. I started staring at his emerald-like eyes. 'I probably looked like a drowned hamster having a bad hair day'. Mental sigh.
" Ummm..." he said. Snapping me out of my daze. 'thumbs down for me' I thought mournfully.
'OH my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh' I thought, a habit I learned from RD. But I put on a cool face.
"I-I'm ok, th-thank you for a-asking. A-and by th-the way th-thank you f-for s-saving my l-life" I managed to stutter out with out choking.'High five for me'.
"Your welcome. We've never really been properly introduced. I'm Tropic. What's your name?" he asked. 'Tropic that sounds suspiciously familiar' I thought trying to remember where I heard that name was from.
"Fluttershy" I said feeling my heart sped up a snitch. 'Will he like my name?'
"Fluttershy...That's a really neat name" he said with a small smile that made my heart speed up even more. 'He likes my name, hi-five for me'
He sat down beside me and watched the lake that looked at peace now. And he started singing. Again the beautiful melody made sleepy, but this time I had to remember something of it. So I listened.
"Go to sleep little pony may your dreams clear your mind for tomorrow you'll wake a Queen so kind." he sang. I really tried listening further,but the sleepiness took over. I leaned on his shoulder making him smile slightly wider. And fell into a deep dreamless sleep.

Hey! Sorry, I couldn't wait to write the next chapter. And 4 favourites for 1 day? I don't know about you but didn't expect it so it made me go on cloud nine. Just to let you know I know I posted a boy pic but I'm a girl.
And comments on my writing will be awesome because I'd like to know where my mistakes are(if you see any of course). So I really like writing for my firsT FIMfiction. Hope you all liked it! bye!

Chapter 3

I woke up, but didn't open my eyes. I was in a bed that's for sure.....but It wasn't mine. I head a lot of people talking, and I could only identify Celestia's, Luna's and Twilight's voices. So I decided to listen.

"Are you sure she is the one, princess?" asked Twilight in a worried tone.

"There is no other with such a resemblance to..*sob*..to..Wave" said Celestia. Knowing she was a princess who never showed much emotion it must be someone she really cared about because after that she broke down crying. I wanted to comfort her but that meant letting them know I was awake. So let out a large fake yawn. And opened my eyes.
All eyes turned to me.I was in a white room with one-two doctors rushing around. My bed was huge for a hospital. I wasn't stupid I was probably in the castle hospital. But just to be sure and they expected the question so who am I to deny the princesses expectations?
"Where am I?" I asked. Looking at everyone. Celestia didn't have tears on her cheeks anymore and Twilight didn't look worried. 'wow their fast in composing themselves'. Luna looked to see but I knew Celestia wasn't in any state to talk and Twilight, because she's worried her voice would crack.

"We're in the castle hospital." she said. 'Duh'. Now a question that will actually make some progress..

"Why am I here?" I asked. Luna stiffened. But Celestia was ready to take over the conversation.

"First of all did you notice your change?" she asked. I nodded 'So I'm here so they can see how or why it happened'.

"Do you know why those changes happened?" she continued.

"No I don't, princess" I answered.

"Are you well enough to get out of bed?" she asked.

"How did I come here?" I asked.

" A few ponies found you on the shore thinking you were drowned, but you had a flower in your hair called a shield amulet. So nobody could come with in 2 meters from you. They got worried but couldn't get past to you. So they called your friends to see if they could help. But not even Twilight was able to get past it.So she sent us a letter. But even I alone couldn't get past. So me and Luna and Twilight combined our powers and just barely turned off the amulet. And we brought you here." she answered. 'Wow I bet mr. dreamy gave it to me'.
"Yeah I think I'm feeling good enough to go out" I said with a smile that she returned. I got out of the bed. And followed her to the garden, which was at full bloom. Then Celestia giggled.
"I bet you haven't seen your whole transformation. Because you won't stop till at least 48 hours that will pass in one minute" she said. And she led me to a creek. I looked at my reflection and almost fainted.
My hair was even longer then before if that were possible and looked as if it had a glittering pink cloud around it. My horn had silver swirls around it. And my tail was hanging to the ground like the shape of a waterfall. My fur turned slightly paler. Then as the last minute went by one tiny silver star formed on my coat at the end of my eye.
"Do you know why your cutiemark disappeared a few days back?" she asked. I shook my head making slight ripples in my mane.Literally ripples. then she continued - "Well when an alicorn is born she is born with either a really weak horn or a really week set of wings. And then she gets her first cutie mark. But it's not like others it's simply temporary. Then when the pony gets older she becomes bored of her talent and a total screw up up at at too. Then the cutiemark disappears. And the transformation in to an alicorn begins. First the horn starts to form or if that's what you had before become much stronger. Then your wings start to form or if you already have them strengthen and lengthen. And then all the decor and earth pony magic comes in." she explained. But something still isn't answered.
"I thought that only royalty were alicorns and I'm not royalty." I whispered, looking down at my reflection.
" How are you so sure? Do you know who your parents are?" she asked looking quite ashamed of herself.
"No, I was brought up in a Cloudstale orphanage. My wings were the weakest so I always got made fun of all the time. My only friend was Rainbow dash. " I said thinking about my horror days. But then I noticed a tear trickle down Celestia's face who was looking even guiltier. 'I wonder why?'.
"Well it's dinner time" she said. Just then I noticed that Luna's moon was high in the sky. 'What ? I'm royalty? no. maybe. What will my cutie mark will be? Because Celestia is in charge of the day, Luna-night, Candace- in charge of crystals. Why did Celestia look so guilty? What was Tropic's cutie mark? Did he give me the amulet? Why did he if he did? Where does he always disappear? Why does he sing to me instead of saying goodbye?..........................' and millions of questions more swirling around my head. I was tempted to ask might as well do but I'll leave out the questions with Tropic in them.
"All shall be answered in due time" she said as if reading my mind. 'I knew she would say that!' . Mental sigh. But followed her in the castle, while looking back for the last time at my reflection.
When we got to the dinner table everybody was looking at me. My face was on fire. I looked down Celestia noticed this and whispered to me gently :
"It alright when I was your age I was scared of attention too, but ...". I didn't notice anything else she said. Because I saw my friends and went over to them.
"Hi, guys! What are you doing here?" I said, happiness radiating off my face. But they just looked at me confused. But then Pinky spoke up.
"Hi! We're here to see Fluttershy we heard the news and rushed over as fast as we possibly can. No not like a can because that means we rolled here. And the only rolling we did was when I saw this huge hill and I was like what a perfect rolling place. The others just walked a lot. Which is super-duper boring for me. Doesn't it seem crazy that they'd want to walk so much? I mean bouncing, rolling and dancing here is way more fun! Don't you think? and Mph-mph..." she chatted until Rainbowdash put a hoof in her mouth.
"I think what Pinkie is trying to say is that we are looking for Fluttershy and were wondering if you know where she is" said RD. 'wait ! what!'.
"Um Rainbow I'm Fluttershy" I whispered hoping they'd believe me, but now I noticed even my voice has changed a bit it sounded softer then usual. They looked at me up and down trying to figure if I was telling the truth or pulling there hooves.
"Ha! Good joke! New princess. Now can you tell us?" said AJ. 'They don't believe me, they don't know me anymore'. I started to tear up and ran out of the palace and sat under a willow by the creek. And started to full on cry. 'It wasn't fair I lost my friends all because I got a horn'.
Celestia sat down beside me and put her wing around my shoulders and held me close stroking my mane softly.
"I know it gets hard at first but don't worry if you want I can go talk to them?" she asked. 'Boy, if somebody saw us they would've thought that this is saw a mother-daughter moment'.
"Yes, please . Thank you princess Celestia" I said and she smiled and said:
"Ok, goodnight little princess" she said. 'Yes, high-five for me. One question answered. I guess I am royalty'. I smiled at her. And she walked away leaving me alone with my thoughts of the future.
It was really peaceful here. But I couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard I tried you could say I waited hours which is actually true.
"Hey.." I looked and saw mr. dreamy or as he calls himself Tropic walk towards me.
"Hi.."i said. And he smiled softly and sat down beside me. My gave a little flutter.
"Had a ruff day?" ha asked. 'I should've washed my tear stained face before he came, but then again I couldn't know when he pops up'. I nodded.
"It's ok we all get them now and then" he said. "Why are you awake?", 'if I told him he would laugh but isn't that a good thing?'.
"I kinda got used to your singing" I said. I blushed a dark pink. 'Did I have to say that?'. I mentally smacked myself. He laughed. 'At least I got the desired effect'.
"Alright then" he said. But before I could fall deep in sleep I had a dream.
The Dream

I was in front of that same door. I tried pushing it, I tried pulling it. I even said : "Open Sesame".
But nothing worked. 'My horn!, but I don't know any spells. I will ask Twilight but she doesn't know me any more'. And with that thought I broke down crying.
I woke up. I must've been crying in my sleep because when I woke mr. dreamy was wiping them away with a gentle hoof. And continued singing. But before I went in deep sleep I caught a glimpse of in flank and cutie mark.
It was a picture of a forest. And while trying to remember it I went into a deep dreamless sleep.

Chapter 4

I woke up......and BOOM! I jumped up looked around and saw my so called friends looking at me with the word apology written all over their faces. And I turned around and saw Pinky with her signature party canon.
"We are so sorry.." started Twilight.
"Yeah, when Celestia told us what happened we felt really guilty.." continued RD. 'You felt guilty what do you want me say I'm so sorry for not stopping something that wasn't in my control'.
"We're mighty sorry sugar" said AJ.
"And to say sorry we made you a PARTY!" and Pinky boomed again with her party canon."Come on it's in the palace breakfast hall!".
"I'm here. Sorry I came late to this apology meeting but I was too busy sowing the finest gown I have ever made and for my apology I give you my new masterpiece. Come, come to the the dressing room. I need to get you ready" said Rarity. She just came and she quickly rushed me to a dressing room.
She put a blindfold over my eyes.
"Wha..." I asked as in why are you doing this(?).
"Why darling I want you transformation to be a surprise of course" she answered. Even with the blindfold I knew she was rolling her eyes. Probably a mental one, because ladies like her don't do such common pony doings. I mentally giggled.
For the next hour I had to bear her touching my face probably applying make-up and my hair doing my " special" hair-do. She made the usual comment on how the transformation made me breath-taking and with her out-landish skills I will twice as beautiful.
" Your Ready!" she announced. 'Finally!'. I ripped of the blindfold to see that Rarity was right I was twice as beautiful. My hair was in princess Candace's ceremonial hair-do with the woven gems. She had put on pink eyeshadow and pink lipstick and a touch of mascara. It was perfect. Rarity looked worried that I didn't like it because I gaping at the mirror like a fish.
"Oh Rarity, it's perfect. Actually no it's not" I said with a fake frown and Rarity's face fell and then I continued - "Because that is an understatement" I said with a giggle and let my face have a big smile. Rarity sighed in relief.
"Now you get to see the dress." Rarity unzipped the bag and took out the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. It was (imagine your favorite dress or your second favorite if the color is black,green or red). "I wish Tropic could see me like this, he always sees me when something messes up. But then again I'm glad he does because he makes me feel better.'.
I went out to the breakfast hall that was decorated so much it would be a wonder if you saw a piece of the wall. There were flowers and streamers and banners and balloons. Not to mention the meter long cake with my formal face on it. And when I walked in everybody had there mouths hitting the floor, but then they cheered. I walked through the the room in search for my friends. But then I saw Celestia and rushed over to her.
"Good morning princess" I greeted. She turned around and smiled.
"Why good morning Fluttershy" she said "And please call me Tia".
"I just wanted to say Thank You for talking to my friends, Tia" I said. 'And this time I really meant it'.
"Your Welcome princess Fluttershy" she said teasingly.
"But Tia am I really a princess?" I asked nervous was probably written all over my face.
"Yes, you can't be an alicorn without having a relative to be one" she said but now instead of a genuine she had one big fake smile on her guilty face. 'Every time she mentions something to do with my family that I never met her face gets really guilty, maybe she is a relative, better ask, but I'll do it later don't want to ruin her party mood'.

"What was your temporary cutie mark?'' I asked. Her face lit up.

"Your gonna laugh" she said"everybody does".

"I promise I won't" I said. I was very eager to here what it was I mean you have a pony as old as time tell you a common pony talent.

''I played a trombone" I really tried to stifle my huge laugh that was threatening to shake the walls, but instead I let myself giggle. Well it was better than shaking the walls.

"Yeah I was pretty good too and I was a unicorn then" she giggled "Oh I think your friends want you to themselves, you better go they did make the party for you".

"Ok. Bye Tia!" I waved and made a dash for my awaiting friends.
"What did I tell you? Her new look with my skills make wonders"said Rarity.'Oh, Rarity'.
"Hi Fluttershy! I hope you like the party .All of Counterlot helped with the decorations. Even Vinyl came from Ponyville to be our DJ. She was great about she took the first train here! Even the guy who controlled the train drove twice as fast so she could get here on time! Speaking of time I think it's time for the cake! I personally overlooked Aj's cake making skills and helped her choose the flavours of apple and cinnamon which almost as good as chocolate as strawberrys , but then I was like hold the cooking Flutter is allergic to chocolate. So you could say I saved your life and..Mph Mph..." Pinkie chattered until RD shoved a hoof in her mouth.
"I can't believe you did all this for me!" I said "You guys are the best!".
We enjoyed the party until it was lunch time because everybody were really busy its a wonder that they managed to come at all!
But I wanted Twilight to help with learning to cast spells so I can know something to do with horn,I didn't want it to stick out only for decoration. Or I wonder if there is a library around here. I spotted Twilight and Celestia talking in hushed voices.'I know it's not good to listen in to private conversations,but..'. I stepped closer and hid behind a statue.
"But princess she will have to know soon, you can't keep this from her for the rest of her life!" Twilight said. 'Are they talking about me and what secret?'.
"I know but at least for a little longer for I want he to live like a normal mare for as long as we could afford" argued back Tia. 'Ha! That was a good one me being normal at the moment'. 'If they're talking about me'. 'I gotta learn a few spells though better break up this argument'. I made a rather noisy entrance with my hooves. They both looked at me 'probably deciding if I heard anything'.
"Hi! You know I was wondering if there was a library around here, because I don't want my horn to be useless" I said. 'I wonder if there is a spell for unraveling secrets'.
"That won't be of use" Tia said. I raised my eyebrow.'Really, it seemed to do wonders for Twilight'.
"What she means is you could use a tutor and that tutor will be me and we'll be starting instantly" said Twilight.
'Ha! Twilight teaching this is going to be interesting' I thought. 'She might transport me to Saddle Arabia for all I know'.

Chapter 5

My surprise of Twilight teaching probably showed on my face. Because she then said:
" Yes Fluttershy I am going to teach you but only if you promise not to step in the library" she said. 'Ha! I knew there is probably a mind reading spell or a spell that makes me hear all the whispering from five miles or I don't know something that could help me out'.

"I promise" I said, but secretly crossed my hooves so it didn't count.

"Follow me" she said we went down a polished marble hallway. There were many places to turn but Twilight never changed the direction. Then after a long time of walking we reached a dead end.

"Um, Twilight did we miss a turn or.." I said but was cut off by a loud rumbling.I looked and saw that the wall was moving sideways making a path to a garden. We went outside.

It was a green field.

"It's beautiful isn't it? Celestia and me had our very first lessons here and now it's your turn. As you can see every plant is something that will help us in our studies. But as you can see there are no plants. Today I brought a big bag with magic seeds that can bend to your will once and whatever seeds they produce are normal.
When you plant one imagine what it will look like. Observe." she took one seed and planted it and it started to grow and in seconds I saw what Twilight imagined. It was a a huge flower that was so big and fluffy it looked like the worlds comfiest chair. And said"Your turn" and handed me a seed. I dug a hole planted it. And imagined a bed that was one huge and soft flower. But to my surprise it was all wrinkly.
"When your picture in mind gets fuzzy it does turn out like that" she laughed. 'Eh, well wrinkly or not it's still worlds comfiest bed' and I settled down on it.

"So our first lesson today - levitation" she said . So she taught me how to angle my horn, how much amount of magic I needed to let go, how to picture things with my mind and so on and so on. 'And here I thought you swished your horn and you do it. Ha! Now I know why Twilight studies so much'. We practiced that until I could do it in my sleep.

I saw a seed come from my bed and I took it. I secretly planted it when Twilight was telling me how once on accident she levitated a waterfall not that that wasn't cool or something but who could listen on an empty stomach. I imagined a big bush that grew cookies with vanilla icing on them and a tiny strawberries on the top. And Voala! It worked without a wrinkle. Twilight looked at me surprised.

"Sorry all the magic making has got me hungry" I apologized while munching on my cookie that came from the bush. And after my cookie I imagined a huge strawberry grow on that bush. And it did. I ate it.'Duh'. And when I looked at Twilight she was looking at me open mouthed. "What's the matter Twilight" I asked in between bites.

"Where did you get that seed?" she said, her voice full of wonder.

"The bed"

" Imagine the bush turn in to a Tree as wide as my hoof but as tall an apple." she said. 'Ok, I'll try'. I imagined it and there it was the tree. And it was growing apples even though it was as big as one itself. And Twilight opened her mouth like a fish once more.

"Ok Twi, your starting to scare me" I told her and she was starting to scare me.

"Did you remember what I told you before the lesson about my seeds?" she said. I thought hard then nodded.

"Nopony can make the plants change " she said. 'Well nopony can make crystals grow from the common pebble like Candace. Wait! But that is her talent!

"Hey maybe that's my talent!" I said excitedly. And all of a sudden my eyes glowed white. And was in the air without flapping my wings. I had a white aura glowing and swirling around my body. My wings opened up by themselves and I was in a standing position. A circle that glowed around the place where I last stepped with a glowing leaf in the center.

I was set back down. And all the strange glowing went away. I looked at Twilight. She was rushing to me and gave me a big warm hug.

"I'm so happy for you! You got your eternal cutie mark!" she said I looked back and discovered she was right. On my flank there was a fresh green leaf with a golden glow around it.'Awesome'.

I imagined my cutiemark and the tree of many apples changed shape in to glowing leaf sticking in the ground I touched it and saw the moment I transformed as if I was watching myself on screen.

"We should tell Celestia she'll be so happy for you to think that her only.." said Twilight cutting herself.'Her only what?'. "Anyway come on Flutter we've got to tell her the news". We ran all the way to the thrown room where Celestia was looking worried and deep in thought. When we came her face lit up.

"What are you fillies so excited about?"she said with a big and almost motherly smile.

"I've got my cutie mark!" I said like filly who just heard Christmas was coming early. And I showed my flank to her. "I can shape-shift plants!".

"Well care to tell me how it happened" she said.

"Twilight can I please have a seed?" I asked and she nodded in understanding what I was about to do. Celestia however looked confused. I took the seed and imagined my cutiemark. And there it was in my hand. And I told Celestia "Touch it". She complied and touched it in her eyes I could see the reflection of a the moment, my moment.

"Wow I didn't know that could happen"she said. 'Of course Tia, you can't touch the sunrise'.

"Can you change it in a living creature?" she asked now she looked like a curious child.

"I can try" I said "I haven't tried that before. I just was so excited that I haven't figured out the details". I imagined a bluejay. And to my amazement I did it only instead of feathers and beak it was made out of an assortment of plants. The eyes - wild blue berries, blue feathers - blue petals, the red beak - a sliced pepper and so on. It started flying around the room and I was afraid it would damage something so I turned it into a golden flower. But as soon as I did a golden shield was around me.

"So that was how you got that flower on the shore" said Celestia with amazement.

"But I didn't imagine it, Tia" I said. 'But if I did and Celestia couldn't get passed it..and they told me Tia, Luna and Twilight barely overpowered my shield that means I'm way stronger than even Celestia'.'Wow I must be pretty powerful then'.

"I know but your connected to nature and even if you didn't imagine it all you wanted then was to be safe so nature protected you and now we know why your past talent was being good with critters. Because you can make them out of plants and your formal talent never completely leaves you." she explained.'Well that makes sense'. "Now I believe you would like to practice your talent for the rest of your day" she said. I nodded - perfect opportunity to sneak to the library.

I went to my room. Sat on my bed and tried to make the perfect plan. 'I could make an invisible suit, but I don't know if such a plant exists'.'I could make an underground passage, but the floor above it would probably crash down on it'.'I could make an amulet that will make me invisible or at least warn me when anypony comes'. But if I'm going at all I need a seed or a plant.

I went around the castle looking for an alive plant or a mere seed. I explored the first floor met a lot of ponies and I asked around but no one did. I explored the second floor asked around but no one had any not even a fruit for later.'In Ponyville anyone would have at least something I could use. And At the third floor I saw a guard munching on an apple.

"Do you mind giving me an apple seed?" I asked hoping he'd say yes.

"I'm mighty sorry princess Fluttershy, Princess Celestia banned all seeds and plants till further notice from the castle and if we see a plant or see we put it in the storage room. " he said. 'What! so Tia was just playing with me when she said she gave me a day off to practice my talent skills'.

"Well where is this storage room?" I said hoping to go around the rule. But the guard just shook is head and went up the stairs with the seed.'I have an idea'. I smirked mischievously. And imagined the apple seed growing legs and running away. When it did that the guards mouth opened in surprise. And the seed came my way. Then I imagined it without legs. And the seed was back to normal again. I put it in my bag and trotted up to my room happily.'Beat that Tia'. In my room I turned my seed in to a dandelion to make lots more and each seed I turned into a dandelions and each seed of those dandelions and so forth until my bag was full with millions of them. So I took one tiny seed from my bag and turned it to a piece of paper that was actually a big clear green leaf. I took another tiny seed and made into a pen - the ink was blackberry juice. And wrote:

Dear Tia,

Why did you ban plants from the castle when that's what you gave me a break for to practice and explore the possibilities?

'There,'. And I picked up a different seed and turned it in to a envelop with legs. I wrote the address on it and watched it scurry away.
