River Rhyme is a stallion with a lot on his mind. Needing to get away from his hectic life in Trottingham, he takes to the rural town of Ponyville to enjoy the tranquil quaintness of small town living and figure out just where his life is heading.

But when a certain trio of fillies take an interest in River Rhyme due to some unexpected shared ground, he finds that Ponyville may not be as quiet and quaint as he had been hoping. But maybe, this kind of noise is exactly what he needs to find what he was looking for.
