    PROLOGUE: HALLUCINATIONS

"My lady, why won't you eat? Please eat." Asked a feminine voice.

Sitting at a large banquet table were five individuals including Eve the draconequus.

The room they were feasting in seemed to be fairly decorated; modeled after royal architecture, Canterlot architecture to be specific. A large chandelier hung overhead attached to the ceiling, and spread out about the banquet table were numerous sweets and gems. There were two wooden doors leading out of the room into different sectors of this supposed castle; but ultimately there wasn't anything really suspicious about it. Well if you didn't count six very strange unseen hybrid creatures as suspicious, but that was another matter entirely.

four out of the five individuals were looking to Eve; as if waiting for her to say something.

While the fifth was at Eve's side, standing beside her chair. She bore black fur and looked like a humanoid panther. Her body also seemed to be quite defined, having lots of muscle; but even so it wasn't hard to tell this particular creature was built more for speed and agility rather than being a sole powerhouse.

The panther woman like the others wore very peculiar clothing; except she looked as if she were preparing to go survive out in the wilderness. She had a pair of cargo pants as well as combat boots; and a black tank top to match. Her eyes were golden and she had very strange white triangular patterns beneath her eyes. She wore a necklace with a zebra pendant; perhaps signifying she held a personal attachment to them.

As she loomed at the side of Eve's wooden chair, one arm hung over the top as she lowered her frame to look at the baby draconequus more closely, she whimpered. "Come now, you can't just sit here and starve yourself forever. That just isn't healthy my lady." She also seemed to possess a very similar accent to Zecora.

Eve stated simply in an apologetic tone. "I'm sorry Ms.Prowl; I'm not that hungry right now."

Mr.Talon, a dragon and fellow ally under Eve, couldn't help but wince in distress due to her words. But he remained sincere, looking towards Ms.Prowl with a sigh. "The lady isn't hungry; allow her to do as she wishes."

Eve looked to Mr.Talon with a smile.

The baby draconequus certainly looked worse for wear, deep bags underlining her eyes as it looked as if her mane had been thrown into a blender; like she hadn't gotten a good night's sleep in days. She chuckled softly "Thank you Mr.Talon." She then looked up at Ms.Prowl with that same childish smile; "I'm sorry Ms.Prowl," and then to all the others sitting around the table before pushing back her chair and hopping from her seat. "I'll be going back to my room now you all; please enjoy the food. If you're in the mood for anything different, please come tell me."

Ms.prowl just smiled affectionately, looking down at the baby draconequus. "It's fine my lady. Thank you."

"Hmhm okay." With that the baby draconequus slowly walked over towards one of the wooden doors at the opposite end of the room, leaning up on her tippy toes and turning one of the nobs before sluggishly pushing open the door and making her way through, then shutting it behind her saying no more.

As Eve left the room there was a sudden mood shift between the remaining individuals.

They all looked to one another, as if implying they were all thinking the same thing.

Ms.Prowl gritted her teeth angrily. "I swear if the lady doesn't eat anything soon, I'm going to force feed her!"

Mr.Sham, sitting alongside what appeared to be a humanoid Komodo Dragon; cocked his head to the left. "I would suggest against that Ms.Prowl."

Ms.Prowl crossed her arms as she she scoffed. "Tch! That child doesn't know what she's doing!!"

    Mr.Talon nodded. "My thoughts exactly."

This caused the rest of the group to eye the dragon curiously; and some found his words quite suspicious.

The komodo dragon couldn't but hiss at Mr.Talon. "What're you suggesting Talon?...And before you answer; you may want to reconsider your life expectancy."

Then the last mysterious individual bounced onto the table; heading straight into Talon's face and snickering wildly. She appeared to be a strange foxlike creature with sharp, curled tusks. She like the others, wore very peculiar clothing but her's seemed to be fit more for somepony who belonged to a certain faction rather than to send a message. She wore bandages around her upper torso and looked to be wearing what appeared to be a kilt covering her lower half as a large strap held up a large curved sword hanging on her back. And as she grinned fiercely at the dragon she slowly started to unsheathe that sword with a raised brow. "So....tell me Talon what would you rather lose first? Your legs or your arms?"

Mr.Talon simply kept his arms crossed as he sighed heavily. "Well I'm happy to know that you're all capable of staying loyal but honestly; don't be idiots! Of course I would never consider betraying the lady. But we must consider whether or not the lady is fit for being the leader of the island, she is still young. I say it's time one of us took over in her stead."

Mr.Sham blinked a bit, as his sharp spear like arms twitched in response to that. "A replacement?"

Ms.Prowl snarled fiercely at the dragon. "Don't be absurd! I am here for the lady, not to serve you!"

Mr.Talon closed his eyes. "Tell me Prowl, how many attempts have been made on the lady's life since you've arrived here? And how many times has the lady personally gone out herself to deal with the situation?"

This caused the panther to freeze as she looked to the lower left. "Tch!...Why's that matter?! We're more than enough to stop anypony who dare threatens her life. Especially a couple of washed up gryphons and prancing little ponies. Let them come, let them bring their knights, their rulers, their magic. I'll deal with them."

Mr.Talon continued, looking to the rest of the group. "I feel the lady is starting to arrive at the point which she feels she's done enough in order to ensure the safety of this island and the creatures that dwell here. She is losing her motivation to continue doing anything; and I'm not sure how long we'll be able to ensure her protection if she holds no more regard for her own life. And I'm certain you've all noticed, she hasn't been acting herself lately."

There was a brief silence between all of them as they looked to one another.

Mr.Talon continued. "At times, I even start to think the lady doesn't even believe I'm real."

The tusked foxlike woman raised a brow; laughing hoarsely. "Hahahaha! That's just crazy!"

Mr.Talon looked to her worriedly. "Crazy wouldn't be surprising...."

Mr.Prowl looked towards the ground disheartened, clenching her fist. "So what do you expect us to do?"

Mr.Talon looked at her with a firm nod. "We'll start discussing distribution of power; and the best way to go about this situation of course. We're the adults here, we don't need to rely on a little girl to make decisions."

As Eve sat in her private chambers; all she did was continue to peer up at the marble statue she'd carved out in the center of the room. It was dark, and majority of the room was covered in shadow, the only shade of light being what little that came through the window, revealing the harsh blizzard outside. There was also the constant thunder that boomed every now and then as well. She looked at the statue tiredly; and after a few seconds of simply staring she looked towards the ground with a soft smile. "Did I do a good job momma?" But there was only silence to follow her question.

The baby draconequus just continued to look towards the ground with that same soft smile; the blizzard outside her private sanctum creating a rough ambience. She stood to her feet sluggishly as she looked up towards the statue. "I'm going to go look for more now. I'll be back soon." But as the baby draconequus turned; it was revealed that the statue wasn't even one of Cheerilee, no something much more twisted than that. The statue had the head of Cheerilee, the body of Celestia, and each individual leg bore a different shape, one a claw, another a paw, another a hoof, and the last a talon, as Twilight Sparkle's crown rested on the statue's head. While the shape of the tail was like that of a draconequus's.

But as Eve turned to walk away, leaving her quarters; a chilling voice followed afterwords.

    Yet it was hollow, familiar.

It was Cheerilee's. "Why're you disappointing me little Eve?"

Eve's eyes widened as she turned to look towards the statue. "W-What? But...Momma! I-"

"Silence! Don't you dare refer to me as your mother." Cheerilee's voice snapped angrily.

The baby draconequus trembled as she nodded, immediately lowering her head in fear.

Cheerilee's voice only continued. "Do you truly believe this is enough to make up for what you've done? Why do you enjoy hurting your own mother so? What causes you to treat me so poorly; have I ever wronged you?"

Eve shook her head, refusing to make eye contact with the statue. "N-No ma'am..."

Cheerilee's voice fell silent for a moment. Before speaking up again except the tone had changed significantly; the voice altogether was now somepony different, it was Twilight Sparkle's. "Your time is almost up little draconequus. I hope you're ready by then. Look at you, still a frail little child even with all your special powers. You're not worth my time, you never were."

The baby draconequus bit her lower lip as tears swelled within her eyes; the small pellets hit the marble floor.

Twilight Sparkle gasped. "What's this?! Aw; are you crying? Why're you crying? Are you scared?......"

Eve shook her head. "N-No ma'am..."

Her voice persisted. "Aw, do you want somepony to hug you and make it all better? Maybe you want a free hoof out as well? For somepony to tell you it's all just okay, that you were in the right? How sad..."

The baby draconequus slowly broke down, trembling as she rubbed her eyes.

    "STOP CRYING!"

Eve shrieked as she nodded once more, wrapping her frail arms around herself as she kept her head lowered.

The voice changed once again; this time to Princess Celestia's. "Is this how you portray us little one? As the cruel monsters? Are you still so lost in your own delusions that you look at pony society as the enemies? Perhaps you do, it's to be expected of an immature child who knows nothing about the world. Even after all that I've showed you, you still have your doubts? This is truly disappointing Eve."

Eve looked up towards the statue shaking her head, desperately attempting to explain herself. "N-No ma'am! I promise, I promise I've learned my lesson! P-Please...don't be angry with me!..."

The voice paused once more; before it continued, still in Princess Celestia's tone. "Good, then there is still hope for you yet. You may have thrown your own life away with your irresponsible and brash actions, but perhaps there are others you can aid to help make up for it. You think helping these creatures is what I want? No, you must make up for it through the blood of those you killed, pony blood. You have yet to repay your victims for the crimes you've committed."

A shiver ran down the baby draconequus's spine as she obediently stood there before the statue, and she seemed hesitant to speak but she did so anyway. An obvious hint of fear in her voice. "B-But...the equestrians don't like m-"

The voice cut in, and suddenly it'd changed back to Cheerilee's. "Are you threatening my wishes again Eve?"

Eve stopped talking, and just looked towards the ground. "No ma'am it's just-"

Cheerilee's voice continued. "Perhaps you need another punishment? Would you like that? To be punished?"

Eve's eyes widened as she shook her head. "No! Please; I'm sorry momma I-" And the baby draconequus covered her own mouth immediately, backing away from the statue as she trembled.

Cheerilee's voice spoke in a cold desolate manner. "It seems you still don't understand your place you twisted little creature. Didn't I tell you not to refer to me in such a manner? What a bad child, ignoring her own mother's orders."

The baby draconequus continued to tremble, shaking her head. "P-Please! No...I..I'm sorry, please momma I-" And tears streamed down her cheeks as she grew silent, obedient; she'd said it again.

Cheerilee's voice sighed heavily. "Face the wall."

The color sunk from Eve's face as she slowly turned, facing the wall.

Suddenly a large shadow slowly started to appear on the ground from where the statue was.

And as the baby draconequus looked towards the ground; seeing that large disfigured shadow looming closer and closer to her, a shiver ran down her spine. She whimpered softly.

The voice now seemed much closer as it spoke. "Now look at me Eve."

    Eve shook her head. "N-No! I won't! I don't want to!"

The voice snapped angrily. "LOOK AT ME THIS INSTANT!"

The baby draconequus sniffled as she turned to look back towards the statue; and as she did so she shrieked in fear, scurrying back against the wall and closing her eyes.

The voice continued. "This is what your irresponsibility has done. This is the result of your pitiful wishful thinking."

Eve's expression sunk as she nodded, and she expressed nothing, looking at the ground with lifeless eyes.

The voice sounded a little more relaxed. "You realize that enough, will never be enough; don't you?"

Eve grinned sadistically; chuckling beneath her breath. "Enough, will never be enough."

The voice sounded pleased. "Good; now go, and remember, I'm always watching. And I'm always there."

Eve giggled; smiling as her red iris's focused on the statue and all fell silent, it only being her in her private quarters as she remained stationary in place. "Yes ma'am."

Ponyville, the peaceful town where Twilight Sparkle and her friends reside. It was nearing the end of winter, and finally the winter-wrap up would begin soon. So as ponies were out and about even during the evening, enjoying what little time they had left with the beautiful fluffy white substance, there was a certain alicorn preparing for a more personal task.

"Twilight where are you going?" Asked a curious Spike.

Twilight was in the middle of packing some bags as she chuckled softly, looking back towards the baby dragon. "Don't worry Spike, I'm just going to talk to Princess Celestia about some private matters. I won't be gone long." And with that the alicorn left her small home, trotting out the door and exiting out into the small town. It was late, and the stars were already laid out overhead as the violet mare looked towards the full moon with a heavy sigh. Are you sure you wanna do this Twilight?

The mare couldn't help but feel a slight hesitation in pursuing this idea. But when she thought about it, she recalled her reasons, motivating herself to continue. No; she definitely had to do this. So she opened one of her small knapsacks; unfolding an equestrian map as she had a specified area circled towards the northern mountains. She then looked back towards the full moon. "Well; here I go again."

    Author's Note:

    Chapter 2: Preparations

    CHAPTER 2: PREPARATIONS

This warmth was strange, unfamiliar; especially here in the castle.

Ms.Prowl, the strange panther like creature who could walk upright on her hind legs, tossed and turned due to the morning ray's reaching across her bed and regrettably her face. She groaned in annoyance, and at first she had no idea what the cause of this strange warmth was; out here where the lady resided, the sun never showed its face; always masked behind the never-ending blizzard. It was only logical she'd be confused. Nonetheless she continued these actions for a little while longer, before finally opening her eyes somewhat to glance over towards her window; where she did indeed see the sun.

The panther woman just stared for sometime as if dumbfounded by the sight; she must've been dreaming. But no, these ray's were real, this warmth was real, this weather was real. The sun was actually out, which could only mean a few possible things. And as she laid in her bed thinking about it, her eyes snapped wide with realization as she bolted from beneath the blankets & sheets; and out of her quarters.

She made her way down the beautiful marble halls swiftly; her paws padding against the cold stone floor as she was unrelenting in getting to her destination. She had to get there, something wasn't right and she knew it! The weather was maintained by the lady herself, and her personality always ensured that the icecream mountains were a frozen wasteland. The only explanation for the sun being visible in this area left only a few unlikely possibilities. The lady was either away; which she wasn't told about, unlikely, she suddenly had a personality shift, or she was dead. As the thoughts streamed through her head; Ms.Prowl gritted her teeth angrily, picking up her pace as she continued to dash down the marble halls.

And upon arriving at the lady's quarters; she found herself stopping in her tracks, breathing heavily.

There was already somepony here waiting for her, and that somepony was none other than Mr.Talon, who just sighed heavily at the sight of her.

Ms.Prowl just looked at him for a second before clenching her fists and gritting her teeth angrily, seemingly infuriated as she made her way past him, shoving his shoulder as she did so and entering into the lady's quarters. "My Lady! Are you alr-" but she paused, noticing immediately upon entering the room Eve was nowhere to be found.

"She isn't here." Stated Mr.Talon plainly.

Ms.Prowl looked back at him with a wince, utterly annoyed by that smug demeanor he always seemed to have. "So where has she gone?! Aren't you supposed to be here to ensure she doesn't just run off?" She got in the dragon's face as her piercing gaze never left his eyes. "I swear Talon, if you did anything to cause this I'll-"

Mr.Talon cut her off. "She went out to take care of some things. She made it clear she wanted to be alone."

"Alone!? Are you insane!?" Ms.Prowl looked down at him, baffled by his idiotic response for a few seconds before she turned, "I'm going after her!" then making her way back down the halls angrily.

As Talon watched her stomp away, he couldn't help but sigh once again. He was a little disappointed by her behavior, but it was expected, and it needed to be done.

Suddenly appearing at the dragon's side was Mr.Sham, having camoflouged himself once again in the background scenery. "Are you sure that was very wise Mr.Talon? The lady said she didn't want to be followed." His large circular eyes fastened on the dragon curiously, his arm twitching a bit as he cocked his head to the left in a peculiar manner.

Mr.Talon didn't say anything for some time himself; but when he did he spoke in a sad manner. "She must see this; it's unfortunate, but like the others, Prowl doesn't seem to understand where I'm coming from just yet."

Mr.Sham cut in. "So you've seen it to I presume?"

Mr.Talon focused on the ground, and a slight shiver ran down his spine. "Yes; and we're running out of time."

    __________________________________________________________

Ms.Prowl made her way through the numerous trees; hopping from branch to branch flawlessly, making the insanely difficult task look easy. She was built for these types of things; and as she made her way through the forest it wasn't hard to notice the definition in her muscles tighten with each mighty leap. Yet even though she moved so hastily, her actions were almost impossibly silent. Although she was moving as quickly as she could, she still came off naturally unnoticeable; which was frightening to say the least, well for her enemies that is. She only continued, and thankfully this was the reason why she preferred such clothing, fit for comfortability as well as survival.

Her tanktop clung tight around her chest as her sturdy cargo pants and combat boots prevented her from running into minor annoyances that'd distract her from her task of finding the lady. Her long slender tail swayed and even assisted her with the task of grabbing onto branches; like a lemur in some sense. She gritted her teeth in frustration, squinting her eyes somewhat as she still couldn't seem to find any sign of Eve. She was an expert tracker; but the baby draconequus was on a whole different level, she'd heard rumors of their chaotic prowess but their powers seemed unimaginable. They could fly, summon almost anything at will, and manipulate the weather and landscape. They truly were creatures to fear. But even so Eve was still just a child; she wasn't prepared to take on the burdens of the world alone. She just had to find her!

Of course the ponies of equestria would deny Eve but things were different where she lived; creatures that were dangerous weren't treated with such spite and hopelessness. Where was she?! And why did this stinking forest have to be so unbelievably huge! All kinds of things lurked in here and it looked as if she were in a tropical rainforest. The sounds of crickets and other strange insects echoed all around her, and the sounds of bristling leaves and whistling winds only followed. The panther woman was slowly starting to lose resolve as she hopped from tree to tree; but in the midst of her worries, a voice actually emerged in the distance. And the voice was all too familiar.

A relieved smile creeped onto Ms.Prowl's face as she sighed. Thank goodness.... It was her, it was actually the lady; she really had come out here, but what was the business she had to attend to and why did she want to be alone?

Ms.Prowl made her way down from the next tree she'd landed on; trekking on the murky dirt beneath her boots as she made her way through the bushes and leaves. "My lady! Are you there?!"

The voice was faint, and she could barely distinguish the words as she only continued to draw closer and closer to the source.

"Twilight Sparkle, Momma, Princess Celestia, Trixie. All of them were so mean, calling me names, punishing me. I'm no disappointment, I...I did my best and all they can do is complain complain complain...I'm not bad! They're bad, why is momma so mean to me? I love momma, she used to be so nice to me. Momma is nice, but now she's mean. No no no, she just doesn't love me anymore. Twilight Sparkle tricked her. Hehe; they're all just confused. All of them....But I understand, I'm a good girl, I did as I was told."

Ms.Prowl went through a couple of more bushes worriedly; raising an arm over her head to shade her eyes and go through some leaves as she questioned once again curiously, "My lady what're you?-" But she paused, and her eyes snapped wide in horror as she came to a small circular pasture in the middle of the forest. W-What is this? What was-

Surrounding Eve were the corpses of a multitude of manticore. Their blood decorating the grassy field as their innards had been pulled from their bodies; their intestines strewn about the place like a ghastly gore fest. Their limbs had been torn apart piece by piece, and they were barely recognizable if not for the fact some of their severed heads laid about. The baby draconequus just stood there in the middle of this horrific scene, continuously whacking at one of the corpses with a sharp crystal spear she'd manifested. But that's not what frightened the panther the most.

It was the fact the baby draconequus was snickering as she did so. Grinning fiercely as the blood spatter decorated her facial features; and she happily played in the gore as if it were a child's sandbox.

Eve smiled happily as she looked down at some of the pieces she'd gathered. "Small Intestines, Lung, Esophagus, Trachea, Kidney, Spleen, Stomach, Heart! Hehe. Yay! Just like a pony."

Ms.Prowl turned around on impulse, hurling at the side of a tree as she placed her paw on a the trunk; blowing chunks. "Aheck!"

Eve raised a brow as she turned to regard the panther woman with surprise. "Ms.Prowl; You're here? Did you follow me?"

Ms.Prowl took a minute to regain her composure before looking back to the baby draconequus with a sickly expression. "M-My lady...I came out to see if you were okay...w-what...what is- what is this?"

Eve looked at her with innocent curiosity for a moment; blinking a bit before smiling once more. "Oh these kitties wanted to play with me. So I decided to play." She looked back down at the corpse, pecking at it with her spear. "Originally I was really angry with momma because she was so mean to me, but now I'm okay, these kitties made it better."

    She paused. "I just don't understand Ms.Prowl..."

Eve then delicately poked at an exposed spleen as her expression sunk, and she seemed a bit confused. "Why does everypony have to betray me? You know; I did a lot of studying and I still don't understand why, I took books, so many books, but none of those books tell me. Ponies are mean to me I know, but ponies who aren't become mean to me later. It's like wherever I go bad things happen and there's no good explanation for why or how. And now I have to die because I was mean once, but they were mean all the time. I don't understand, I thought I did but the more I learn the more I start to wonder why; isn't that wrong? Isn't it supposed to be the opposite Ms.Prowl? Maybe I'm just as crazy as everypony says." The baby draconequus then stabbed at the spleen chuckling; as a black liquid substance poured from the exposed organ. "But I feel like I did everything right and am just told that I'm wrong. Maybe everypony else is just stupid. I could do anything for them, all they had to do was accept me, why couldn't they do that one simple thing? In the end, even momma betrayed me. Maybe I'm just-" And the baby draconequus stabbed at the intestines. "Bad luck!"

Ms.Prowl remained silent as she only continued to look at her precious lady become this unfamiliar sadist. Was she even aware of what she was doing, what she was saying? She sounded absolutely insane. But the panther woman wouldn't be able to dwell on her thoughts long as Eve cut in once again.

"You know Ms.Prowl, I've been thinking. It's not often I meet others like you, Mr.Talon, Mr.Sham, Ms.Tusk, and Mr.Komo, you're all so kind to me, so nice, if I didn't know any better I'd have to say you're all planning to betray me since the world never seems to change." The baby draconequus chuckled playfully as she used her telekinesis to rip the cecum from the body. "Hahahaha! Look at how much stuff there is inside, it's so weird! To think that all these things are so important for us to live. Life is so funny, my life is so insignificant and worthless yet these kitties had such insignificant lives to, it's hard to think that their lives could end so fast!"

Ms.Prowl took a few steps back nervously as she gulped. "M-My lady...let us return to the castle....it's dangerous out here."

Eve stopped her stabbing for a moment before looking to the panther woman confused. "Hm?...The Castle? Oh Ms.Prowl, there's nothing dangerous here yet. Twilight Sparkle still hasn't arrived to punish me! Twilight Sparkle always punishes me for doing bad things you know, so she needs to come and do it again. But when I talked to her yesterday she wasn't able to come; I guess she's late, maybe she's playing with her friends. She's so lucky, to have made such weird friends. Not saying that you all aren't my friends, but you all treat me really weird."

Ms.Prowl snapped at the draconequus on impulse; a shakiness in her voice. "M-My lady! Come this instant! You're not feeling well!"

Eve's eyes widened as her expression sunk dramatically and she winced at the panther woman. "Were you just mean to me Ms.Prowl?....I thought we were friends." She paused. "Friends aren't mean to each other." The baby draconequus dropped the crystal spear as she took a step closer to the Ms.Prowl; staring at her with cold eyes.

A shiver ran down Ms.Prowl's spine as she raised her paw at her waist, preparing to go for her combat knife in a second. "M-My lady...I didn't mean it like that." But as she saw the baby draconequus unfaltering in her approach, she cringed. She wasn't literally intending on killing her was she? S-She cared for the baby draconequus since she'd arrived here, of course Eve could see that. But she wasn't herself at the moment, no, her condition was worsening, becoming more severe. It was only obvious now, this was bad, extremely bad. But she didn't have time to worry about Eve's health more so than her own; if she didn't do something fast then she was going to end up no different from those manticore. Ms.Prowl trembled; what was she going to do? She couldn't bring herself to attack Eve; and even if she could, there was no guarantee she'd last long.

Eve only drew closer and closer.

Ms.Prowl's eyes widened as the baby draconequus slowly started to raise her bandaged arm. The one she never used. She was actually going to do this?! Just because she said one thing in a disrespectful manner?!

Eve then stuck her tongue out playfully as she grinned, chuckling wildly and pointing her paw at the panther woman. "Hahahaha! You should've seen your face Ms.Prowl; you looked so scared!"

Ms.Prowl's expression sunk as she fell to her knees; looking at the ground.

The baby draconequus spread her arms as she walked up to the panther and embraced her in a hug. "A lot of ponies were scared of me one time, Twilight Sparkle is scared of me; that's why she's preparing." She then eased her embrace, slowly backing away then making her way past Ms.Prowl, back through the trees in the direction of the castle.

Ms.Prowl trembled on the ground as she sighed with relief. A little shocked she was still alive. P-Preparing?.....

    __________________________________________________________

"What're you doing Twilight?" Asked Princess Celestia who sounded surprisingly disappointed with her student, based on her tone of voice. As Twilight stood before her bedroom chambers; holding up a map in her face. "Go back to Ponyville."

Twilight's brow was cocked as she looked quite baffled by Princess Celestia's reaction. She objected, raising a hoof. "What do you mean princess? Go back to Ponyville? This isn't the time to just run away and forget! I have an obligation to the citizens and the guard's who lost their lives in that attack as well. Please princess, I only want to ask you a few questions then I'll continue about on my way; I promise."

Princess Celestia fell silent for a moment as she recalled Eve's words.

Some meetings are only destined for heartbreak princess. Twilight Sparkle, she will bring an end to my story.

How come that child's insight at that moment was above her own, and how could she have seen Twilight's persistence in such a way? Princess Celestia looked back down towards her student; reaffirming her position. "Twilight, I told you that I would handle this. I don't want you getting involved in this matter, I realize that you're an alicorn now and your will is your own, but please, don't do this. There are many things you're not ready to know my dearest Twilight."

Twilight's eyes widened as her expression saddened and she seemed speechless. "P-Princess what're you saying?...Not ready for what? You have to give me a chance with this! I need you to trust me..." She practically pleaded before the mare of the sun. "Please!"

Princess Celestia fell silent once again, just looking down at her student before sighing heavily. "Come Twilight..."

The princess then made her way out of her bedroom chambers and down the long halls towards Princess Luna's quarters; alongside Twilight. The whole way there, the two didn't speak a word to one another, and there was a uneasy tension looming about all the way up to Princess Luna's chamber door. Princess Celestia raised a hoof followed by a heavy sigh; before knocking on the door.

    KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

They waited for a brief moment, before one of the large chamber door's creaked open; revealing an exhausted Princess Luna, dark crescent shaped bags underlining her eyes as she wore a bedrobe.

The princess of the night patted her mouth followed by a lengthy yawn as she eyes the two figures tiredly, almost as if she didn't believe they were really there for a moment. After taking a few seconds to actually take in the fact they actually were here at this time in the morning, Princess Luna felt a little distressed; it was her turn to sleep, this wasn't fair. She spoke in an annoyed tone. "Why sister, Twilight Sparkle; what a pleasant surprise."

Princess Celestia chuckled softly before stating. "Humblest apologies dearest sister but, this is important."

Princess Luna stated right back at her. "So is my sleep."

Princess Celestia's expression then turned serious all of a sudden. "We require your aid dearest sister; please."

As Princess Luna read over that expression with ease, she sighed heavily, nodding in contempt. "Alright alright sister, please, just give me a minute to-" she yawned "To wake up."

"And you see kid! That's why you gotta pay attention, learn the ropes from the best of the best heh." Said a bat pony; adorned in ebon black armor. She had a crescent moon seal marked on her breastplate; a black coat with violet eyes, and a snow white mane with purple streaks acting as bangs. It was none other than the disguised changeling Silver Shade as she raised a hoof in her own confidence of her abilities and snickered. "I feel you've got potential, and you seem pretty loyal to the princess but you're young, new, fresh meat! Get it, got it, good?"

Listening to the rambling's of his superior was a younger pony; not a colt but still not completely of age. He was a stallion and his fur coat color was about the same shade as light brown sand, his eyes a beautiful light blue shade in similarity to the sky. His red mane was long enough to partially cover his face, revealing only one of his eyes at a time. His mane also had two different colored stripes in a pattern similar to Twilight Sparkle’s, and the two shades of color for the mane’s colored stripes were light-cyan and sapphire-blue. He almost seemed depressed to be standing there listening to these compliments of Silver Shade's and it wasn't hard to tell he had something else on his mind.

He was a new recruit; well not a recruit just yet, a hopeful recruit. He was a potential soldier in training, and after the recent attack on Canterlot was hoping maybe he could manage to find a place in the Canterlot Royal Guard. And more importantly beside his greatest joy. As he looked towards the lower right, he sighed heavily; not wanting to speak out against the bat pony. He wasn't particularly good at talking to mare's, let alone assertive ones. So he just kept his mouth shut as she spoke. But as he stood there; eventually something caught his eye, and this something was too important to ignore.

Trotting off in the distance was Princess Luna; alongside Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight.

W-What?! The young stallion was shocked; Princess Luna didn't tend to come out so early in the morning. Whatever it was it must've been quite important. And the stallion found himself speaking on impulse "P-Princess Luna!..." as he began to trot off in their direction.

"Yea so I think that you sho-....." Silver Shade stood there for a moment, dumbfounded as she couldn't really believe what she'd just seen. Did that subordinate really just trot off while she was speaking. "HEY! WHY YOU DUMB BR-" But the bat pony paused as she cocked a brow at the sight. The stallion was approaching Princess Luna, but that's not only what caught Silver Shade's eye; it was the fact she was with Twilight Sparkle as well. Interesting.... So the prodigious mare returned, but for what? Queen Chrysalis would most certainly be interested.

Seems like things were finally starting to pick up the pace again. How fun. The disguised bat pony smirked anxiously.

    CHAPTER 3: DEMENTIA - PART 1

"Why're you so afraid? Weren't you prepared to take the repercussions for this? Don't chicken out now, it's only a little longer."

The world was black in similar to a realm of infinite darkness.

There was no comforting light in the distance, no towering structures, and nothing to give this world some sense of meaning. But there was a noise, a roaring noise; it sounded as if there were ponies rioting, attempting to destroy something with all their might. And running through this dark world was their target, making her way towards the infinite distance with no sense of an end, there was a baby draconequus.

She ran as fast as she could, and in the background of this dark plain appeared an all too familiar pony, overlooking the situation from the very black skies. Nightmare Moon overlooked the landscape as she watched the baby draconequus run. "Hmhm go on now, keep running, they're going to catch you if you don't pick up the pace little girl."

And her orders were actually reasonable.

Eve took a look back at her pursuers with wide eyes. She couldn't allow herself to get caught, she just couldn't; she knew what would happen if she did. She looked up towards the black sky at Nightmare Moon with a pleading expression as she ran.

Nightmare Moon could only chuckle as she looked down at the baby draconequus. "Aw what's wrong dear? Do you want your powers? Now if you had those this wouldn't be very fun for me now would it? And this is all for my entertainment so that's a no go." She snickered. "You better keep moving, they're catching up to you."

Eve only continued to run with a look of despair written on her face; her claw and hoof trekking against the flat empty space which acted as footing. Only continuing to move as fast she could, but no matter how fast she ran, this world never seemed to end; there was no end, there never was! There was only an inifinite landscape with no sense of escape, she was doomed to run until she ran out of breath, it always ended the same way here in the realm of nightmares.

Nightmare Moon smirked, this was excellent, it'd been too long since she received any form of proper entertainment. "You know I would've preferred that meddlesome Twilight Sparkle over you anyday, but you see; you helped them escape. So now I have to punish you. Why'd you have to go and get yourself involved hmm?" She paused with a wince. "Have you ever felt real pain before little draconequus? Allow me to show you!" And the mare of the moon swiped her hoof angrily.

And suddenly shackling itself around the baby draconequus's feet were large chains, causing her to stumble and fall to the ground. A horrified expression ran across her face as she turned to look at her feet while laying fat on the ground. "N-No!" she cried out as she reached at the chains attempting to get them off, and she looked off in the distance as the mob of ponies only drew closer and closer now, holding their spears and pitchforks and other weapons as they charged. Eve attempted to wiggle from the chains as her inevitable fate only drew nearer. And as she realized there was no happy ending to this scenario, she looked up towards the sky and cried to the alicorn. "H-Help me! Please! I'm so sorry!"

Nightmare moon raised a hoof to her ear. "What was that?"

The baby draconequus cried. "I'm sorry for letting Twilight Sparkle go! Please, it hurts, I don't wanna feel it again! H-Help me please, I only wanted to see momma!"

Nightmare Moon scoffed, cackling maniacally afterwords. "Aha...ahahahahaha...AHAHAHAHA! You think I care about what you wanted? Foolish little girl, your sole purpose for being here is being my entertainment, and the fact you're begging for mercy only makes it that more enjoyable. Now...hmhmhmhm....enjoy."

Eve's eyes snapped wide as she cried out. "N-No! Plea-" And a spear ran straight through her slender body as she hurled up blood from her mouth. The pain was tremendous; she couldn't even manage to scream, or naturally describe how it felt. She was left speechless; and the unrelenting assault only continued. Another pony stabbed his pitchfork into her leg as their infuriated roars only continued, another pulling on her snow white mane now caked with blood as she felt herself losing consciousness as they turned her over. Another with a cleaver severed her left arm as she cried out and looked up towards the mob surrounding her; tearing her apart piece by piece.

And in her final moments before her world had gone black once again, she could only think what she'd done to put herself in this situation. And as Twilight Sparkle ran through mind; she coughed more blood, the red substance pouring from her mouth as she couldn't even bring herself to cry or scream anymore. She actually prayed to lose consciousness at this moment. And as she looked up towards Nightmare Moon while laying on her back being savagely ripped apart piece by piece by these ponies of the nightmare, she begged; somepony to save her, anypony, to just come and save her from this horror. But there was nopony coming, there never was. And as these last futile thoughts ran through her head once again and her eyes slowly started to shut, she embraced the idea; the idea of finally being able to sleep.

But it didn't end, it never did.

And in the next moment the baby draconequus found herself standing on a small wooden platform over a pool of lava.

Nightmare Moon laughed as she looked down from the sky "Aw! Did you think it was over!?"

Eve shook her head as she looked overwhelmed with terror and fear, she backed away, lowering herself and covering her head. "No, nonononononono! I don't want to anymore! I don't want to! I won't! I'm scared! Please somepony help me! Momma!" Tears streamed down her cheeks as she sniffled, biting on her lower lip shaking her head and whining. "I don't want to get hurt anymore! I don't want to! I'm sorry I attacked the little pony and her friend! I'm sorry sorry sorry!" And she just continued crying, pleading, begging the alicorn to stop.

And this only caused Nightmare Moon to wince once more as her nose twitched. "Oh shutup! This is absolutely pathetic; show some backbone you sad excuse of a draconequus child."

Eve's eyes widened as she only continued to cry looking up towards the mare.

Nightmare Moon pointed a hoof at the tightrope leading to another wooden platform with a smile. "Your race is supposed to be tough, yet look at you, here, pathetically crying. It's disgusting! But I'll tell you what, your sad little display has actually caused a sliver of pity to course through me. If you make it across to the other side, I promise I'll give you a little break. How's that sound hm? Would you like that little draconequus, a break?"

A small hopeful smile formed across her face as she nodded hurriedly. "Y-Yes..please..please I'll do anything!"

    Nightmare Moon snapped. "Then walk!"

Eve cringed as she looked towards the tight rope and the wooden platform at the opposite end. She gulped, then looking down towards the scorching hot lava that awaited her down below. She couldn't fall. She had to make it, she'd do anything for the break the mare promised. She gave herself a reaffirming nod, but still frightened as she took her first step out onto the tight rope.

Nightmare Moon giggled with delight. "Ohohoho! Marvelous! That's it, be careful! Don't fall now!"

The baby draconequus wasn't humored by her words of course, and only continued to attempt balancing herself, taking step after step. All in all she was actually doing quite well for a first timer at this. It caused her to smile as she sighed with relief, making each step slow and careful, only attempting to focus on the rope and her footing; not the lava below her.

But as she walked; it was only natural something would go wrong.

As she slipped and fell to the side, she yelped in terror as she grabbed onto the tight rope on impulse, now hanging over the side.

Nightmare Moon gasped with excitement. "My oh my! Close call, you really are quite good at this!"

The baby draconequus held on tight but could already feel her grip loosening. Her tiny frail arms weren't strong enough to pull herself up and she knew it. But she gritted her teeth, desperately attempting to pull herself back up atop the tight rope, but the harder she tried, the more painful the mental blow was when she failed, and her strength wasted. And as she felt her sharp claws uncurling as she slid slowly from the rope, she shook her head, and then started to cry once again as she looked back down towards the hot lava.

Twilight Sparkle, living up to Cheerilee's example, it wasn't worth being here, it wasn't worth all this suffering.

And right before falling to her tormenting death once again.....Somepony grabbed her claw!?

The baby draconequus's eyes widened as she looked up towards her savior, which appeared to be a strange ethereal striped pony, who said nothing.

Nightmare Moon's eyes snapped wide. "What!?"

The baby draconequus could only look up towards the strange striped pony with wide eyes and confusion.

Suddenly another voice rung out from within the realm, and it even caused Nightmare Moon to raise a brow in utter bewilderment.

"Listen to the words I speak, and I shall light the path you seek."

But as relieving as the voice was, it couldn't help her right away. Nightmare Moon reacted with haste, snapping the tight rope as the ethereal striped pony disappeared into astral dust almost right afterwords.

The baby draconequus, although she was now falling to her death once again, she now had a sense of hope that she'd be able to leave here someday. And that was all she needed at the moment, so she closed her eyes as she plummeted towards the smoldering hot substance, and prepared herself for impact. Maybe somepony did come to save her.

    __________________________________________________________

Eve gasped as she rose from her bed breathing heavily, she felt hot, steaming, as if she had some sort of fever.

It was only another nightmare apparently; dreaming never was a very enjoyable experience these days. Ever since she'd woken up in Zecora's hut. Some days it would be relaxing, but most, would only leave her further traumatized by memories of a time in a place she didn't want to remember.

The baby draconequus was in her private chambers, and outside the blizzard was picking up violently due to her emotions as the thunder's boom only followed. She ran her paw across her forehead in a tired manner, her eyes halfway shut as she just sat there in her bed for some time, looking down at her blanket. Of course now she knew that savior of her's was Zecora and these night terrors were scars on her mind from her time spent in the realm of nightmares. And it was funny how much she wished she could forget those times completely, she wished she could forget many things these days, right after wishing she could get all her memories back, it was ironic.

She didn't want to start remembering her time spent in....that place.

And as she sat there lost in thought, it was disheartening to think she couldn't even find peace for herself in her dreams, for even outside; there was something waiting for her.

    "Have a good rest?"

Eve's eyes widened as she looked towards the marble statue fastened in the center of the room. Cheerilee's stone face almost creepily focused on her as the light from the thunder revealed a frightening disheveled stare, as if the statue were a living being upset with the draconequus.

Eve never took her eyes off it as shiver ran down her spine and she muttered, looking back down. "N-No..."

"Such a bad bad girl, always disobeying her mother. While you're here sleeping, my orders still remain ignored, for you still haven't been able to pay back the ponies for the crimes you've committed. You still sit here whining about how much it hurts and how sad your life is. Such a bad bad girl."

Eve shook her head with an almost angered look. "T-That's not true! I...I am sorry for what I did! I want to repay the ponies, I just...I just don't-"

The voice snapped, now sounding like an accumulation of multiple voices combined. "You're scared! A pathetic little child too selfish to accept responsibility for her actions! That's all you are! Why won't you listen to me? Why won't you go back and pay for the crimes you've comitted!? Why must you wait for Twilight Sparkle to do it? I'll tell you why, because it's all a sad little excuse to buy time! You selfish brat, all you've ever wanted was to hide away and hope that nothing ever happens! That you could just escape! If you were too much of a coward to accept the consequences, then you should've finished the job when you had the chance!!!!!"

Eve's body trembled as she scurried against the back of her bed, looking at the statue with wide eyes. "M-Momma..wait!..."

The voice's only progressively deepened as they shouted. "I've told you many times not to refer to me as your mother you sick creature! You despicable monster! You freak of nature!" And a looming shadow started to form before the statue as the room began to darken, the windows battering and shaking as the baby draconequus trembled with fear in her bed. "If you're too scared to go pay for it yourself, then I'll help you, I'll punish you! You will be punished!"

The baby draconequus's eyes widened as she whimpered. "N-No...Please Momma I!-"

"SILENCE! YOU WILL BE PUNISHED!" And black tendrils arose from the shadow's, striking at the baby draconequus.

Eve cried out angrily as she shook her head. "NO!!!" And she ripped the bandages from her paw and pointed it at the statue.

The voice gasped. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE-" And in that next moment it'd been obliterated completely. Cheerilee's stone head flying off into the corner as the torso, legs, tail and crown skidded about to other parts of the room, trailing debris and emitting smoke from the destructive spell.

Eve's angered eyes only looked upon the broken statue as tears swelled in her eyes and she snickered, grinning fiercely. "Eheh...eheheheh.....hnhnhnhnhnh......hahaha...HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!"

Suddenly the chamber room doors burst open, and standing in the doorway with worried frantic looks were Mr.Talon, Ms.Tusk with her sword unsheathed, and Ms.Prowl.

Mr.Talon breathed heavily as he shouted on impulse "My lady! Are you alrigh-" but he paused, noticing much like the others, the destruction laid about the room as Eve just sat in her bed, laughing. "M-My lady? What-"

Ms.Prowl took a few steps forward. "My lady w-what has happened here?" But as she saw Eve was acting much like that time when she'd found her out in the forest, it caused her to tremble a bit.

Eve stood to her feet, spreading her arms as she chuckled sadistically. "Couldn't you hear her Ms.Prowl!? Momma thought she could punish me just like that mean pony, but I showed her! I showed her just what she was dealing with! I wasn't a pathetic little girl anymore! I was assertive! Just like they always wanted! I wasn't being stupid hehe!"

But as Ms.Prowl looked back towards Mr.Talon and Ms.Tusk, they all knew they were thinking the same exact thing. None of them had heard anything, nothing besides the lady.

Eve sneered playfully as she leant her head back and looked down towards the severed stone head of Cheerilee. You all were just like her, manipulating me, using me, watching me fall. She licked her lips. You all were just,...Scum......

    CHAPTER 4: DEMENTIA - PART 2

    "Noteworthy?"

Princess Luna nodded happily with a soft smile reaching from cheek to cheek as she raised her hoof in delight. "Why yes Twilight Sparkle, this here is Chaotic Noteworthy, one of the newest additions to my guard. I have a feeling he shall prove to be a great asset to future endeavors."

Twilight looked the stallion up and down with little interest, but politely introduced herself anyways. "Why hello there Chaotic, the pleasure is mine, Twilight Sparkle at your service."

The stallion maintained his baring but couldn't help but blush slightly due to more personal reasons as he smiled a little. "Uhm thank you Princess Twilight, it's an honor to be in your presence."

Twilight laughed a little shaking her head, she still wasn't used to being treated in such high regards but either way, the pleasantries were nice, but that wasn't what she came for. She looked back to Princess Celestia who didn't fail to regard her student with a sharp glance before looking back to the newcoming stallion. "Well thank you Chaotic, I hope your training goes well, but we have to get going, there's trouble stirring in Equestria that requires out utmost attention."

Chaotic Noteworthy's eyes widened as he seemed a little surprised but knew the Princesses did probably require to attend something of utmost importance, especially if Princess Luna was awake this early in the morning. And as he thought about the main reason why he'd approached them in the first place, his cheek's lit crimson as he nodded. "O-Of course Princesses, my lady Luna! W-Would it be too much trouble if I escorted you all to your destination? It's my job as one of the new recruits to ensure your safety so I was hoping...that well uhm...maybe-"

Princess Luna cut in almost immediately raising a hoof. "Oh? Why of course, it'll give you much needed experience."

The stallion's expression brightened of course, grateful to have been accepted to carry out the task. So he happily made his way beside the princess of the night with a cheerful smile, as he began to lead the way besides Princess Luna.

Twilight however couldn't help but raise a brow curiously at them as she soon followed close behind through the royal gardens with Princess Celestia at her side. As they trotted Twilight looked up at Princess Celestia curiously before asking in a quiet tone "Princess, who is he exactly? I've never seen him before here in Canterlot, I didn't really notice it at first, but he doesn't seem like a local, Saddle Arabia?"

Princess Celestia looked down at her student before responding in suit. "Oh no Twilight, that young stallion right there is from the country of Magistrum."

Twilight's eyes widened in surprise "Magistrum? He's from Magistrum!? But-" her voice died down a little as she looked ahead at the stallion once again, a little puzzled. "He seems a little, unseasoned."

Princess Celestia smirked "Precisely why he is here, learning, young recruits from the country of Magistrum are not often inclined to join equestrian military forces over their own. But this one, something keeps him here." And this caused the princess to giggle softly before regarding her younger sister with a soft smile up ahead, but she then looked serious once more before looking back to her student and thinking about the matter at hoof once again. "Twilight, why must you feel so persistent in pursuing the young draconequus? I worry for you my student."

Twilight's eyes widened once again as her expression sunk once again and she sighed heavily. "It's just that I see everything that you've managed to create Princess Celestia. I've seen everything that the world of equestria has to offer, peace, love, harmony, friendship. There have been so many cases where something or somepony has wanted to threaten equestria and its inhabitants these days, and the power of friendship has proven successful time and again. I just can't seem to understand why fate has been giving that little draconequus a chance time and again to succeed in destroying everything you've done for us, and if only I ensured that she understood in the beginning, Equestria could've been saved from another horrible disaster. Now ponies are dead, murdered, a word not often used anymore, and the one responsible is still out there, unpunished, and free to do it again."

Twilight paused. "I told Eve I would catch her and ensure she's punished for her crimes, and I plan to keep that promise." Twilight gave an angry wince, unable to house her obvious feelings of detest for the creature. "She has threatened so many innocents time and again, and manages to always avoid the consequences. She always manages to slip from our hooves, and now she's become something so much worse, and I can't accept that princess. I don't want to live in a world without hope, I want to fight for what Equestria stands for, the side that fights for harmony. And if we can't stop Eve from threatening harmony, how can we hope to protect it?"

Princess Celestia's expression saddened, for she knew things Twilight did not, and although her student certainly meant well with her words, she was still so far off with everything that it could only break the alicorn's heart. "My student, there are many things that I have kept from you over the years, things I wished you'd never have had to find out, things I wish you never would've seen. But now that we're at this point in time, I can see now that you're growing into somepony who will stand for what she believes in, most certainly, and you have made me proud. I only wish I could've kept you from experiencing such things, such violence, but I cannot place all the blame on our enemies...for I to have-" Celestia grew silent for a moment. "Have made some unwise decisions." She looked back to Twilight. "Do you really want to know more of the draconequus Twilight?"

Twilight looked up to her mentor once more, and for some reason she to felt a little clueless about what she wanted to say, she looked down at the ground as they all came to a halt and the violet mare looked at the ground for a moment, and then back up at Princess Celestia. "Y-Yes...This is something I feel I have to do princess."

Princess Celestia just looked at her student, glancing down at her observantly for a moment before closing her eyes and sighing, nodding soon afterwords as she made her way past Princess Luna who opened a door for them. The door led to what appeared to be a large briefing room with magical markings etched onto all the walls. "Then come Twilight, it's time you realized how big the world truly is."

    __________________________________________________________

"Mom! I told you that I'm ready to learn more about destructive magic! I'm really good see!" A little baby draconequus peered up angrily at her mother while sitting on what appeared to be a floor made of fluffy cloud. The little draconequus bore a very strong appearance to Eve, but wasn't her in the slightest. She looked to be around the same age, but much healthier, and much more confident. She manifested a piece of candy in her paw with ease as she smiled in confidence, then manifesting a bunch of diverse weapons all around herself which danced as if they were living things.

And standing in this strange home made of cloud was a larger female draconequus who couldn't seem to get the hang of settling all her children down, this was a familiar draconequus, it was Eve's mother. She chuckled softly and removed another draconequus from the top of her head, and onto the floor, this was another baby except this one was male. The other two hung on her arms playfully, as she placed them down as well. "Now now honey, I know you're good. You proved that to me a long time ago, but you're still far too young to learn how to use destructive magic."

The baby draconequus pouted as she stomped her hoof angrily. "Mmmmm! No fair! You taught the others already!"

One of the male baby draconequus bopped his sister on the head. "That's cause we know how to work our imaginations you dummy! You'd end up blowing up the place!"

This caused another of the baby's to peer up at his mother curiously. "Hey mom, is it true what dad was saying? That there was a draconequus who attacked the pony princess and even got away with it?"

Another female baby draconequus jumped on that one's head with a snicker. "Tch! You actually think so? There's no way! That's impossible! Not even mom and dad would do something that crazy!"

This caused Eve's mother to look in distress, almost as if she wanted to avoid talking about the subject. "Alright you all, stop playing around and try to teach your sister a little more about working her other forms of magic. Momma will be back soon, she has to go check up on Daddy." And with that the larger female draconequus made her way outside the house with a worried look. And even though she'd wanted to deny it herself back inside, even she knew the truth of the matter was all too certain. It was news heard even in the furthest corners of Equestria, rumors of a little equestrian draconequus who'd actually launched a solo assault on the pony capital Canterlot and escaped, the baby draconequus known as Eve the Insane. Despite her age, this baby draconequus had managed to reach a criminal level of banishment and earn a bounty reaching well over a hefty amount of gems. And because of this, the land of draconequus was in uproar, and their overall opinions on the matter varied greatly.

While some praised this mysterious baby draconequus for her actions, others despised her for giving their race a further downgrade in reputation, while others claimed it was all just a lie, for there was no way some baby draconequus could've possibly succeeded in attacking the princess of equestria. To do so would require an unbelievable amount of knowledge and experience, a mastery of destructive magic, and an astounding level of skill in her representation, and such draconequus haven't been seen since ancient times back when the world was thrown into turmoil and chaos. Back in a time when Eris was still around. But as Eve's mother thought about the situation, she just couldn't believe it herself, there was no way that baby they'd left back in the cave could've grown into such a prestigious figure. Or could she? But there was no other explanation. Did they make a mistake? Was she a genius after all?

And as the mother thought about what she'd done back then, a hint of regret ran through her. Regret......

Either way, Havoc wasn't going to sit idly by and let something as big as this slip from under his claws. It seemed that the draconequus race had finally been picking up once again, since the recent release of Discord, one of the first draconequus to be accepted into Equestrian Society, to now a baby draconequus attacking the princesses, this was far too interesting to pass up for him of course.

But how come now this sense of worry swelled within her? Why did she suddenly feel this need to want to go and find that child she'd left behind, and bring her back home? Now that she'd actually managed to make such a name for herself. Either way, they'd be briefed on the situation soon, and it was no doubt her husband went to go speak with Havoc regarding the situation about the baby draconequus, the one they'd left, the daughter they abandoned.

As Eve's mother made her way through the vast land of draconequus, it was revealed to be a beautiful world of its own, located up in the infinite blue sky. Much like Cloudsdale, the towers and structures seemed to be made of nothing but pure cloud except decorated and fashioned with many different types of sweets. The structures rested upon floating islands, some made of nothing but stone, while others were made of pieces of earth and others were made up even of massive loads of candy. Crystal bridges led from island to island, as some draconequus even walked while they talked to one another. It was a gorgeous wonderland, a home for those proven worthy among the draconequus race. Eve's mother was currently on her way to a large grandeur castle in the distance, no doubt this is where her husband was.

This whole situation more then likely wasn't going to be pretty.

    __________________________________________________________

Havoc the draconequus sat in a briefing room in similar fashion to Princess Celestia's as he twirled a candy cane around his wrist, looking at his fellow sitting near him at the table with interest. "So let me get this straight, you're telling me you left one of your failed daughters in Equestria and she ended up growing into one of the biggest monsters the world has ever seen? And this same daughter is the one known as Eve the Insane, the same Eve that attacked Princess Celestia in her own city and escaped? The same Eve who now has a gem bounty that could be stacked higher than this castle? The same Eve I've been tracking ever since the rumors of this whole thing got out?"

The draconequus known as Havoc looked to Eve's father with a look of bewilderment before bursting into laughter. "AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! What next Ravage? You're going to tell me that Eris is your long lost sister!?" He swiped his paw humorously, chuckling in his chair as he did so. "Listen buddy, I know were friends and all but come on, you can't really expect me to believe that right?" He cocked a brow at him. "We all want in on this little Eve character, but the fact of the matter is once she's apprehended, the equestrians are probably going to want to cut whoever has her a deal. And that little girl has a pretty big bounty on her head, the whole world is going to want a taste, and the big fish are more than likely going to feel threatened by the appearance of such a newcomer in the bounty books if they already haven't moved in for the kill. I mean seriously! Her age at that, a baby!? That's just insulting." Havoc leaned back in his chair with a wide grin plastered across his face. "Serves those equestrians right however, I mean just look at them, all overconfident hiding away in their little country of peace love and harmony, ignorant to the rest of the world's problems, it's about time someone showed them what's what! Don't you think?" He then manifested a small jawbreaker without any hint of effort on his part as it just fell into his mouth. "But still, a baby girl huh? My oh my she'd make a fine wife someday with prowess like that."

Eve's father now revealed as Ravage, raised a brow at Havoc, a little disgusted by that last sentence. "What?"

Havoc snickered. "Heh, kind of makes me interested ya'know? Home grow her myself after capturing her. Yup yup!"

This caused Ravage, to reveal a hint of embarrassment and even offense to his friend's blatant personality. "H-Hey! I'm being serious here Havoc! That's my daughter we're talking about here! There is no other explanation, it has to be her. Let us go capture her, Rave and I are more than enough to deal with our own daughter! We'd also like another chance to speak with her privately as well, there's..." The draconequus's expression sunk "Quite a bit I'd like to explain to her." He looked back to Havoc in desperation. "Please."

Havoc's expression went serious for a moment as he looked up towards the ceiling in silence. As he then looked back to his dear friend, laughing softly. "No need to beg me for anything Ravage, your will is your own. You and Rave can do what you guys want, if you really think it's your daughter then by all means you two can come and enjoy yourselves."

    Ravage raised a brow. "Come?"

Havoc burst into laughter once again. "Hah! Duh! You guys really don't think I'm just going to sit back and let you two have all the fun right? I mean whoever this little girl is, she managed to best Princess Celestia, and I have no doubt that would mean she achieved a heightened sense of understanding." He tapped his lower lip with his paw in interest. "I wonder what she is hm? No draconequus ever find out their representations in chaos at such a young age, if ever! Ain't that right Ravage?"

Ravage gritted his teeth a little, looking to the lower left.

Havoc pointed a claw at him chuckling. "Hahaha, yea you should be embarrassed you old dog! If this is really your daughter, that means she found her representation quicker than you, which means not only did you guys possibly ditch one of the greatest genius's in some random cave, you also got passed up by her!" He paused again, looking up with an amused smile, leaning back in his chair. "Still I wonder what she is though? The fact she got this far would make her fit to be on the council, but she's so young, a child at that so I can only wonder. Maybe she's desolation?...Ruin?" He puckered his lower lip before shrugging, "Who knows, either way we'll find out soon enough. And the fact she bested Equestria would mean not even Celestia could manage to figure her out in time, which makes things much more interesting." Havoc sneered looking up at his own claw. "In the end all we are is a bunch of paper cannons, all it takes is a little bit of understanding, and counteractive magic against our own and were no more than powerless flies. Just look at what happened to Discord, all it took was a little harmony to set him in stone. But this little one...what could've possibly-"

    BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!

Havoc and Ravage's eyes snapped wide as suddenly a magical screen had appeared at the end of the briefing room.

Ravage seemed confused. "A intermission? From who?"

Havoc leaned back in his chair and smirked and snickered softly. "Well let's find out eh?"

And as he snapped his claws, there appeared on the transparent screen, five ponies.

Havoc laughed as a wide grin spread across his face. "Why would you look at that? We were just talking about you....Princess Celestia...."

And appearing on the screen were three of the four renowned princesses. Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna, and Princess Celestia, while the two lunar guards, Silver Shade and Chaotic Noteworthy stood in the background.

    __________________________________________________________

Eve sat in a corner of her room, her head buried in her knees as she looked towards the ground with tired eyes. "Ms.Tusk?"

Ms.Tusk, the strange tusked fox-like creature looked towards the baby draconequus with her arms crossed. "Yes lady?"

"I'm sick aren't I?...." Eve didn't look to her, she simply spoke.

Ms.Tusk took some time to answer, scratching the back of her own head in hesitation. "W-Well...yes lady, we believe so." But she gave a reaffirming smile. "But don't you worry, we're doing everything we can to make sure you get better. And until you're all better, don't worry, we'll protect you with our lives."

Tears swelled in the baby draconequus's eyes. "I'm just becoming as crazy as they all say. I'm just a murderer, and a monster. I...I don't know how much longer I can keep this going Ms.Tusk, I feel like it all becomes worse everyday. That I actually believe what I do is right." She looked to the severed stone head laying in the middle of the floor, Cheerilee's stone head. "And I don't want anypony else to die because of me."

Ms.Tusk cut in right away with a serious look. "We would die for you my lady, and there's nothing you can do about that."

Eve looked to Ms.Tusk whimpering, burying her head in her knees. "Maybe you're all just as crazy as me hmhm..." She didn't mean it as an insult however. She actually cherished each and every one of them, having stuck with her even as with each passing day she proved herself more dangerous and a potential threat to everything on this island. She only hoped that maybe she could finally stop searching. These were ones who accepted her, wanted to be with her, and even protect her. But why did they have to come at such a time in her life? When she was considered a criminal and a monster, and even steadily becoming a psychopath. Why couldn't she have met them at an earlier point in her life, when she didn't feel the need to repay the world before her punishment or seemingly inevitable end. Would there ever be a time when everything was at peace? Maybe if she tried hard enough there could be some chance for that life. But it all just seemed so-

    BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Eve's eyes widened as she turned towards her window, noticing the large flash and sound of recurring explosions. WHAT?!

And Ms.Tusk unsheathed her sword swiftly. "MY LADY WE MUST GET YOU-AH!"

And then a explosion from within the castle itself, followed by a blinding flash of light.

    __________________________________________________________

As Twilight looked at the magical screen floating in front of her, it almost looked as if this were some sort of portal leading to another different plain, and more draconequus? How many draconequus were there exactly? And who was this frightening draconequus that could be seen in front of them, snickering as he regarded Princess Celestia? His mane wasn't white like Eve or Discord's, it was yellow and red; and although he didn't look particularly old, he still seemed to possess an ancient vibe about him. Twilight looked up to the princess. "P-Princess?...Who is this?"

Princess Celestia winced a bit due to the question, but tried to keep her expression professional. "This....is Havoc, Twilight. He is a very prestigious figure in the far far north. And he is one who I have been consulting regarding the draconequus matters here in Equestria."

Havoc smirked, leaning back in his chair. "Hah! I'm flattered Celestia really, no doubt you're contacting me regarding the escaped draconequus criminal now outside equestrian borders."

Luna looked quite annoyed by the draconequus's lack of respect as her nose twitched. "Tch...."

Princess Celestia cut in. "Yes Havoc, I was hoping you may have information regarding Eve the Insane, my student would be very interested in hearing what news you've acquired."

Havoc's eyes widened a bit as he regarded Twilight. "Ah Princess Twilight, cool cool, nice to see you finally. So you're the new element of magic huh? Dangerous girl then, could probably take me out in a few seconds with those things." He chuckled as he manifested a lollipop, kicking up his feet and then making himself a floating footrest in a second. "So how's Discord doing? Ah ah ah, forget it, he's probably busy these days with other things. About your little criminal, yea, you see Celestia, unlike you, the way we do things over here is pretty efficient." He snapped his claws as another magical screen appeared, revealing a lone island in the middle of the ocean.

Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Twilight's eyes widened as they looked on.

The island was practically under siege, fire rained from the skies as explosions even set-off across the vast landscape.

Ravage's eyes widened as he snapped at his friend. "H-Havoc!? What do you think you're doing!? It's still too early!"

Havoc raised a brow at Ravage puzzled, resting his paw and claw behind his head. "Eh? Calm yourself bro, she won't get killed by something like that, we're just cleaning up the fluff."

    __________________________________________________________

As Eve laid face down in the scattered rubble of her once beautiful castle, she coughed, slowly opening her eyes. She was covered in ash and grime, as surrounding her even in this violent blizzard were large fires.

Was she in another nightmare? Was she just dreaming?

She couldn't really see straight, and as she looked down at her claw noticing the blood, she ran her paw across her forehead, feeling more of the moist substance.

    What'd just happened?

She remembered the sounds of explosions, and then a flash of light. Then......Ms.Tusk?

Eve's eyes widened as she coughed once again, wobbling to her feet, and slowly stumbling, attempting to make her way through the ruins of her castle. She had her paw raised over her eyes, shading her from the violent blizzard she herself influenced as she called out. "M-Ms.Tusk!?" But there was no response. W-What was happening? Who could've possibly caused such destruction in such a short amount of time? Was Twilight Sparkle even capable of this? But as Eve searched for the tusked fox-like creature, what she saw in the distance caused her to shake her head followed by soft cry.

And in the distance, with half her body covered in debris, was the limp body of the tusked creature.

Not again, she couldn't go through this feeling of loss again.

She couldn't accept the responsibility of another death, especially of one like this, was this her punishment? She didn't want anypony else to need to suffer for her stupidity and mistakes.

She sluggishly made her way through the field of destruction as she looked down at the limp body of Ms.Tusk with wide eyes upon reaching her. Eve couldn't really believe what she was seeing as she just blinked, lowering herself to run her paw through Ms.Tusk's fur. She bit her lower lip as she curled her arm around the fox-like creature's auburn head and lowered her own, nuzzling against Ms.Tusk affectionately as she whimpered. "Ms.Tusk?..."

Then we'll move in for the bigger prize ourselves.....

    Chapter 5: Dementia - Part 3

    CHAPTER 5: DEMENTIA - PART 3

As Eve made her way through the blizzard and flames, through the ruins of her now demolished home, she sluggishly took each step, and the color of her eyes had dimmed, representing something almost lifeless like a walking corpse. Based on the baby draconequus's demeanor, she was broken, again, the blood of her friend covered her torso, and she was still no different from a little girl in shock even with all her power.

In such a fleeting moment, Ms.Tusk was gone, she'd failed to protect her, and now she was gone. And the little draconequus couldn't wrap her mind around the idea that something like this could happen. She tried to find the answer in her database of experiences and memories, she thought back to so many days, begging for an answer to make sense of this madness in some conceivable way, and something specific actually came to mind.

But it felt like no answer.

Perhaps another realization, perhaps just nostalgic remembrance, but she felt it bore some importance anyway.

A little kindness goes a long way. Those words stuck in her mind like glue.

She drifted back to a certain time, a certain memory, still attempting to find some sense of hope in all this.

    __________________________________________________________

The baby draconequus sat on a desolate piece of land in the middle of the ocean. Her cowl raised as she had her frail arms wrapped around her knees. She looked off towards the vast infinite sea, unaware of what she should do, what her purpose was other than to wait for Twilight Sparkle. She was scared, alone, conflicted, in guilt. But she couldn't bring herself to cry at the time, she could only sit there, lost in her own feelings and lonesome thoughts, but as she sat there looking at the big deep blue, a thought actually came to mind. Something emerging out of her tragic existence that gave her more purpose.

A last piece of redemption? Something to help makeup for what she'd done.

Perhaps she could create it? Perhaps she could bring this idea to life to prevent creatures like her from going on the same course, maybe she could even make it fun. She climbed to her feet and raised her paw with a soft smile "Okay...." it couldn't hurt to try. And with a slight twitch of her bandaged paw, a large perimeter of the ocean around her started to freeze over, becoming a solid canvas for her to work with. She snickered playfully, raising her claw and looking over the now massive land of ice, then taking a few steps out onto it before looking up towards the sky. "Hmmm..."

Maybe she could still do some good.

And so she began to craft to her heart's content. Like a god who could create mountains and oceans, craft trees and form stone, she built her island piece by piece, like a child playing with a set of lego's. And day by day, as time went on, her island only continued to grow, at first being some tiny little slice of paradise, then expanding into something much more. It was her personal pride and joy, naturally growing into her own grand achievement.

And although she knew she would most likely have to pay for her crimes in the future, maybe this private sanctuary could remain, and be a home to creatures who had trouble finding their own. A pony society separate from pony society, a society built on the same concepts except for other creatures. It was something worth going for, and maybe she could pull it off if she worked hard enough at it.

There was still that small childish hope, even as an embodiment of despair that she held onto.

And it's what kept her going through this period in her life.

It was as if for once in her life, a higher power had actually been on her side, helping her, pushing her, motivating her to continue, and baring her the rewards for her services. And as she worked, it wasn't surprising to find that some passerby's travelling across the vast seas took notice of the strange piece of land being crafted seemingly out of nowhere.

And maybe some of them even wished to be friends.

    __________________________________________________________

One of these curious individuals being none other than a strange dragon creature, looking down from the sky in puzzlement. He looked to the rest of his allies before stopping, "You all return without me, I'll catch up later."

These creatures didn't question one another, nor did they really seem to care. They only regarded their fellow with a nod before continuing on, making their way off in the same direction they were originally heading, and disappearing into the distant clouds. These creatures looked like dragons, but not fully grown, but nor did they seem young, some even being full fledged adults.

The solo individual squinted a bit looking at the island below, as it just shifted and changed at will, it was perhaps one of the most perplexing yet astonishing things he'd ever seen in his life. Most assuredly there was an answer to this mysterious occurrence lurking down there somewhere, and he felt he couldn't leave until he satisfied his curiosity. So he made his way down towards the island, confident in his own capabilities as he sought to find out what awaited him down below.

Eve was still working on her island, and didn't seem to be putting in too much effort in particular, actually she made it look easy. She was like a construction worker, eyeing different pieces of the ever-changing land, finding areas that felt out of place and fixing them, except she accomplished all of this in mere seconds.

She was currently standing on a small stone platform overlooking the entire landscape, and she humorously had a small wooden table with a milkshake sitting atop of it as she went to work. Little did the baby draconequus know, such potential was supposedly only achievable in full grown draconequus adults these days, not that it really mattered to her.

    "What is this?"

The appearance of the sudden voice caused the baby draconequus to jump as she yelped a little, turning to see who it was. And when she caught sight of the strange dragon like creature standing behind her, looking down at her curiously, she could only smile as she went back to making her island. "It's a home! I'm making it!"

Well he could see that, but how was she doing it, and more importantly, why create a whole island? Of course he put his curiosities into question. "But why? What's the point of all this, why're you doing it?" He didn't mean to be too privy, but it wasn't often one came across some little creature who could create mountains at will, maybe he'd just stumbled upon god and this was how the whole world was created. Now that'd be funny, he snickered softly to himself at the thought.

Eve chuckled as she looked towards the ground."Because I'm a monster who has a lot to make up for."

This caused the dragon creature's eyes to widen as he raised a brow at the little creature. "Hm?..." Monster? The word left a bad taste in his mouth, he didn't really believe in monsters, just a world of diverse creatures and different philosophies. And more importantly, why did this little creature consider herself a monster? She seemed decent enough, and this island wasn't harming anyone, it actually appeared like a pretty nice thing to do. So once again he put his thoughts more into words. "Why do you call yourself such a thing little lady?"

Eve's eyes saddened as she opened her mouth and paused "I...-" She looked to the lower left, as her body quivered a little, and she had trouble finding the words, especially for some stranger. "I've done really mean things." She smiled with a hopeful gleam. "B-But maybe, if I..if I work hard enough at it, I can-" And as she looked over the vast landscape, the beautiful home she was creating, she didn't even notice the tears trail down her face. "I can..." And as she trembled, noticing the soft transparent pellets hitting the surface of the stone platform, she wiped away her tears and snickered. "S-Sorry, I don't mean to act like such a baby mister....I cry a little too much sometimes..."

The dragon creature responded simply. "Talon Drake is my name little lady." And he approached the sobbing little creature with a concerned look, she certainly didn't seem like any monster to him, and even if she'd done things in her past, she seemed sorry for it. Although he felt there was a lot more to this little creature than met the eye, he lowered himself beside her, getting a good look at her face. "Where I'm from, a little kindness goes a long way." And from his perspective, there'd be plenty of more time to learn about her.

Eve looked at him, a little confused at first as she sniffled. "H-Huh?"

Talon smiled at her with a soft smirk. "You sound earnest, and what I see now is kindness.-"

    __________________________________________________________

And as Eve drifted back to the present, looking upon a certain scene, her eyes remained the same.

She took slow easy steps towards more open ruins of her castle, as spread out around her were five figures. As if placed here purposely as some despicable divine sign. She looked over to the first, sprawled out across the blackened floor, the twisted broken corpse of a komodo dragon creature.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who'll see it.

"Muges Komo my lady, such unfaltering dedication is pure art in my eyes."

Then she glanced over to the bug-like creature who'd been severed from the waist down.

    And as time goes on.

"You're the first child to not have fled at the sight of me little creature, I am honored."

Then over to a panther-like woman, practically charred beyond recognition as she laid on her side, stiffened in place.

I'm sure you'll start to understand.

"You're no monster to me little girl. My contract is forfeit, I cannot bring myself to kill you."

And then to the impaled dragon creature with his back against a stone slab.

Your kindness certainly shall go a long way. You've just gotta be patient.

"So, would you mind if I decided to assist you out here for some time, my lady?"

And in the background, a massive beast with its torso blown open, its innards hung out, steaming from its recent passing.

Eve made her way to the center between all of them, as her breaths were soft, and barely apparent. She looked around at all of them, praying for any sign of movement, some sign of life in this now frozen wasteland she'd created. And as it only became more apparent none of them were getting up, she couldn't bring herself to accept it. H-How can any of you protect me if you can't even protect yourselves you dummies?

Icy tears rolled down her cheeks as the blizzard caused her mane to flail about violently with the course of the wind. She was angry with all of them, angry with herself, infuriated that she'd let this happen, infuriated that they were all here to begin with, infuriated that none of them survived besides her. How could they all just die on her!? How could they leave her with this burden!? How could this have even happened!? And as she sobbed, attempting to take everything in all at once, it was unbearable. Why did these things always have to happen to her?!

    She fell to her knees.

A little kindness goes a long way.

    "Mr.Talon?.........."

    Silence.

    "M-Mr.Sham?...."

    Silence.

    "Mr.Komo...."

Silence. Nothing besides the sounds of harsh winds.

Eve turned to look at the charred corpse of the kind panther woman she once knew.

    "Ms.Prowl?"

And as she did so, the charred corpse caved in on itself, dissipating into ash and blowing right past the baby draconequus's face. Eve snapped. Her fragile glass mind shattering into tiny little pieces. This was absurd! There was so much they still didn't get to do, so much they didn't discuss, so many things they never got to learn about one another, and it was over? Because of what!? Because some random explosions happened to occur right over this very spot and decimate the lot of them, all of them accept her!? What cruel sickening disgusting despicable idiotic twist of fate was this!? Eve screamed at the top of her lungs as she tore at her mane, digging her claw and paw into her face as she did so. Her cries becoming violent and hoarse and barely distinguishable. This is what it all lead up to!? This was the mad destiny she was cursed to!? To have gained everything once again only to have it all stripped away!?

She slammed her paw and claw on the ground, tearing at the floor and gritting her teeth as the frozen tears ran down her face and she didn't know what to do. Not even with her powers, could she magically create life, she couldn't bring them back. So in such a fleeting moment, without having a chance to say farewell, without being able to have one last talk, to even leave on better terms, they'd gone, and all because they were here assisting her with her twisted dark little mind. It was unacceptable! This world, she'd had enough of it! She couldn't take it. She sobbed violently, slamming her head on the blackened pavement and curling in, gripping at her cloak.

This world, wasn't fit enough for anything anymore, no redemption, no happiness, it was never possible.

There was only one fitting method, and she'd chase after it to the ends of the earth to find it.

There was only one route left, but, she'd wait, they wouldn't get away with this.

    __________________________________________________________

Princess Celestia snapped angrily. "H-Havoc!? What...What is the meaning of this?"

Havoc looked back to the screen, raising a brow at the princess before snapping his claws, opening his own portal to the Icecream Mountains with a smirk. "Me taking care of the situation Celestia, what's it look like?"

Twilight's eyes widened at the portal. Time magic?

Princess Celestia shook her head in desperation. "You don't know what you're getting yourself into Havoc, is this truly your idea of efficient work!? You have the experience to bring that baby draconequus a means of peaceful resolution! Yet what you're doing now is foolish!" Princess Celestia stomped a hoof as her expression saddened. "You don't have to let this happen! She isn't an average child, she learns and adapts to pain at a dangerously accelerated rate!"

Havoc sighed as he prepared himself to go through the portal. "What're you suggesting Celestia?"

And as he did so, Ravage and Rave, Eve's parents, didn't fail to take notice of Celestia's words.

Princess Celestia gritted her teeth. "What I'm suggesting is she doesn't simply come to an understanding of how pain works, she goes beyond it! What I'm suggesting is that your actions will only continue to accelerate her progression. What I'm suggesting is that her representation may very well be beyond yours, and her destiny is far more complicated than you assume! Do not test her Havoc, I'm begging you!"

Havoc sneered. "So you went playing with fire, eh Celestia?"

Twilight couldn't help but cut in, absolutely confused. "W-Wait! Representation?...Destiny? What're you all talking about?"

Havoc looked to the young princess with a snicker. "So you don't know huh? We aren't so different from one another, although your kind probably likes to think as such little princess. Like ponies have their purposes represented in their cutie marks, we to have our own representations, except ours aren't as common as yours. Every now and then there's some draconequus who end up unable to figure out their own destinies, and have absolutely no grasp on their magic or how to connect with it, these are the failures."

This caused Twilight's nose to wrinkle a bit in annoyance, due to the fact the way he spoke of those draconequus, it almost sounded as if he were describing the cutie mark crusaders.

Havoc raised a paw, continuing. "These draconequus don't last long, not that it's anything surprising. In a society of winners, who needs losers like that? Then there are those draconequus who find their special talent, yet these talents all have some relation with our chaotic magic. Some find their representations in more common things, while others." He smirked a little, glancing to the upper right with a smug expression, as if referring to himself. "Are a little more exceptional." He shrugged with a sigh. "Ya see, we don't have some creepy tat appearing on our rears, so we usually choose what defines us in our names. So in the end, we aren't so different. If anything, just a bit more complicated."

Twilight blinked a bit, left a little speechless by his explanation, almost fascinated by it.

Havoc turned back towards the portal. "Least that's how I see it. Either way, this Eve character was raised in Equestria, meaning her destiny may very well be a mystery to all of us. She bested you all however which has got me interested. She's practically a living legend, and based on what Celestia says, her representation may very well be pain itself." He glanced back at all of them with a sneer. "So I'm going to find out, and overcome this little brat myself." And he waved as he stepped through the portal, accompanied by his two allies.

Celestia snapped at him once again. "H-Havoc, wait!"

But in that next moment, they were already gone.

Twilight looked to Princess Celestia worriedly. "P-Princess?..."

Princess Celestia lowered her head as she just sighed. "....Come Twilight, we must head to that island."

Chaotic Noteworthy took a step forward. "Princess, would you like me to contact magistrum forces, we may very well be heading into a warzone as it is."

Princess Celestia glanced down at him with a raised brow. "I appreciate the offer young stallion, but we are short on time..."

Silver Shade sneered in the background. Hmhm, things just only continue to pick up around these guys.....

While Princess Luna's appearance only worsened as time went on. "S-Sister...forgive me, I don't believe I can accompany you all without first receiving some rest. Please do be careful..." She looked to Chaotic and Silver Shade. "Please you two, do all that you can to keep them safe."

Chaotic and Silver Shade nodded with a salute. Responding in sync. "Of course princess!"

Princess Celestia gritted her teeth lowering her head. "If we allow this to happen, then we may very well be throwing the entire world into a new age of turmoil. Word of Havoc's defeat would most certainly spread, bringing all sorts dangerous individuals to the equestrian borders in search of reward. We cannot allow Eve to put herself in such a situation, to do so would endanger us all."

Twilight felt a little puzzled. "Havoc's defeat? Princess what makes you so sure-"

Princess Celestia cut her off. "Havoc is certainly not the worst Twilight, but nor is Eve. There are many....others...that would be more than willing to reach out from the far reaches of our world to find an explanation behind such a prodigious individual. Eve has proven time and again when pushed, her limitations appear...endless...it is a mystery that continues to jar even me, and it is something I'm certain Havoc is unprepared for. He may be on the council of draconequus, but his intrigue will lead to his downfall. And if word gets out that another of the racial leaders have been defeated by this baby draconequus." She paused as she cringed. "We shall be dealing with a lot more than just Eve."

Pinkie came in out of nowhere. "THE REWARD WILL BE THROUGH THE ROOF!"

Twilight cocked a brow. "Pinkie!? When did you get-......" She did a facehoof. "Oh forget it."

    __________________________________________________________

Havoc, Ravage, and Rave, stepped through the portal, exiting out onto the ruined castle of the Icecream Mountains.

While sitting in the distance still on her knees was a baby draconequus, looking towards the ground.

Rave's eyes widened in disbelief as she got a good look at the creature in the distance. It certainly was their daughter, and as she looked to her husband, they both noticed that their expressions mimicked one another's, and they were shocked to find they both looked almost worried as well. Rave looked back to her daughter with sad eyes, she then looked to Havoc in annoyance, angered by the fact he'd totally decimated her home.

How could they have not seen she had so much potential? It was amazing to think she'd created all of this.

Eve just sat there. "Did you all do this?" She asked in a soft tone.

Havoc snickered beneath his breath. "Heh, credits all mine kiddo, sorry, can't help but wreak a little havoc now and then. So, you just been sitting there the entire time?" He leaned forward a bit. "Did you know we were coming or something?"

Eve nodded plainly. "Mhm....they always come to me eventually..."

Havoc snickered as he crossed his arms. "Is that so? Well you see Eve, I've been keeping tabs on you for a-"

Eve interrupted him, her red iris's focusing on the three figures. "Are you ready?"

Havoc almost felt insulted. "Ready? Listen kid I'll be the one to-"

Eve flicked her paw. "I'm starting the game mister."

Havoc sneered. "Hah! Yea right, is this some kind of jo-" But as he moved to raise his paw and claw, he found them stuck in place, unable to budge. He looked to his comrades, Rave and Ravage as they to were stuck in place, Havoc's eyes widened as he looked down at himself. What the heck!? And it wasn't earth nor any other common resource holding them down, it was,....blood? Wrapped around their legs and arms like barbed wire.

The draconequus looked towards the source, it being a impaled dragon creature on a nearby stone slab. She was using his blood as a weapon?! What the hell? Havoc found himself a little caught off guard by the aspect like his fellows but, nonetheless, something such as this wasn't going to keep them pinned to the ground.

    Rave snapped to him. "Havoc!"

Havoc snapped back. "I know, I know, alright!? Calm down, sheesh!" He rolled his eyes.

And before the blood wires could tighten to the point of severing their limbs from their bodies, they each phased through and swiftly raised their arms towards the baby draconequus.

Ravage's claws grew to an amazing extent as he snarled. "NOW!"

Havoc gritted his teeth as he chuckled a bit. "You're a little overconfident you know th-" But as the three of them looked to the baby draconequus once again, their eyes widened. And Havoc paused.

Eve's bandaged arm had already been unwrapped as she regarded them with a blank stare. She raised her paw as she nodded. "You to mister." And at that moment she'd manifested a giant smoldering jawbreaker in an instant, the massive sweet looking similar to some otherworldly object, blue and black flames decorating its exterior as the center seemed to hold a scorching red core. Eve flicked her paw up as the smoldering jawbreaker ascended a few meters, then begun its rapid descent back down. In the next moment the baby draconequus got in a batting position as if she were playing baseball, and stood in position as a crystal candy cane appeared in her grips, and she spun full circle, making contact with the jawbreaker perfectly as the smoldering sweet shot towards her enemies at an accelerated rate.

    Havoc cringed.

    BOOM!

The three draconequus tossed and tumbled midair before landing then skidding on a open field of vanilla icecream.

Rave was left speechless as she stood, breathing heavily and noticing she'd been wounded. She's....excellent....

Ravage gritted his teeth, furious at the fact his own daughter could act so fast. "Absurd..."

Havoc snickered as he looked to the both of them with a soft laugh. "Hah! She got a lucky shot, big deal!" But he was annoyed by the fact these wounds did sting him. How could a little girl manage to bring him pain? Pain he grew to understand over countless millennium!? It wasn't possible! "If she gets too cocky, I'll threaten to blow this whole island to smithereens! She stands no chance, you two got that?!"

A shiver ran down Rave's spine as she looked up towards the sky.

Eve descended as she flapped her wings some.

    Havoc smiled. "Hmph..."

Eve landed in the field of vanilla icecream. "Everything here is mine to control. I hope you know this mister."

Havoc sighed at her. "Don't get cocky with me kid. I outclass you in every possible way."

Eve responded in suit. "You broke the rules. I'll make sure there's nothing left of you."

Havoc's nose twitched in annoyance. "There are no rules, you know you're really starting to tick me off. I'd heard rumors of your talents, but you're just a kid with a wild imagination and no respect for her elders."

The three draconequus got into position.

Havoc smirked while Rave and Ravage looked upon their daughter in hesitation.

Eve stood in place. "And you're just a big cheater, a speck that I'll erase from the game."

Havoc sneered once again. "Tch, keep talking kiddo, you believe you're untouchable? I've been at this a lot longer than you have, and I'll show you just how to bring that big wall of invulnerability you believe you have, crashing down. All representations have a weakness, and I will find yours. It's what I do."

Rave called out to her daughter. "S-Sweetie....it's me! I'm your mother!"

Eve's eyes widened as she raised a brow. W-What? But as she took a minute to get a good look at them, there was almost an instant recognition, causing her to shiver. And she took a few steps back. W-What're they?

Ravage looked to his wife. "What do you think you're doing Rave?"

Rave took a step forward. "And we're sorry for abandoning you!" The female draconequus flashed her husband a smirk, before looking back to her daughter with a pleading expression. "Please, don't do this."

Havoc snickered. Hah! So she's playing that card huh? Certainly would make capturing her easier.

But soon Eve stopped retreating backwards, just gritting her teeth as she looked at her mother angrily, tears swelling in her eyes. "Be quiet,....I already had a mom, a real mom...." She wasn't going to allow such a thing to hold her back.

    Not now.

She raised her clenched fists, almost amusingly getting into a fighting stance of her own. But...this does make things harder.... What was her birth parents even doing back here? And as much as she didn't want it to, this information did effect her to an extent, she couldn't bring herself to ruthlessly slaughter her own parents, and even though death was now becoming far too common in her world, she couldn't bring herself to off them so easily. That meant she had two targets she needed to avoid attacking.

Rave sighed as she seemed a little disappointed. "You should listen to your mother you know." She chuckled placing a paw on her hip, raising a brow at her daughter with a humored smile. "That's a cute stance you're in, do you plan to kill me with it?"

Eve trembled as she felt frozen in place. Why were her words effecting her?! "B-Be quiet!"

Ravage sighed, taking a step forward and spreading his arms. "Don't do this, you don't really expect to succeed do you?"

Eve gulped, as she found herself questioning her own abilities, and she looked to the lower left. "I..."

Rave snickered. "Listen honey, just come with us, and everything will be fine."

As Eve stood there, she grew increasingly flustered with every word that came out of their mouths. "I SAID BE QUIET!" She raised her paw angrily and prepared for another attack. She wouldn't let their words justify the deaths of her friends. That was the last thing she was going to do.

But Havoc smirked. Took a little too long there kiddo. And with a twitch of his own claw and paw, he worked his magic.

Eve had been distracted by her parent's words, she looked below her feet, noticing a strange marking had appeared and ignited with a red light, which seemed to be a runic circle. H-Huh?

And in the next moment her position had imploded on itself, then setting off like a mine bomb, creating a vast cone shaped explosion reaching to the very clouds.
