"There you go Opal, all ready for bed"

Fluttershy said as she finished grooming her. Not many ponies could groom a cat like Opal with out getting scratched up but Fluttershy wasn't like most ponies. Even her owner, the majestic Rarity could get away with that. That was the sole reason she was trusted with her while she had to leave suddenly on a trip to Canterlot. Even though it was a little out of the blue, Fluttershy didn't mind. She loved taking care of animals, more than anything in the world. They didn't make her nervous like other ponies, she was always comfortable around them. As she finished putting Opal away with the other cats, much to their dismay ( she was as kind to them as she was as kind to anypony), she was about to head up to bed herself. But as she got halfway up the stairs the heard the sound of a hoof knocking on her door. As she walked to the door, wondering who could be visiting dropping by at that late hour, the door suddenly burst open with a loud "Surprise!!". The shock caused Fluttershy's whole body to tense up as she let out a soft shriek. Her fear then faded when she realized that it was only her friend, Pinkie Pie stopping by for a unexpected visit.

"Great, I think you might have finally killed her Pinkie." Said another voice. As she turned her head, she saw a upside down Rainbow dash looking over her.

"Oh, I'm sorry Fluttershy" Pinkie said in a genuine tone " I was just knocking on the door and thought it would be fun if I yelled surprise. And you know what, it was. I love saying surprise, almost as much as.."

Rainbow Dash quickly put her hoof in Pinkie's mouth, quickly shutting her up. Fluttershy thought that might have gone too far but was also a bit relived for she knew Pinkie could talk forever.

"Um,it's OK" Fluttershy said nervously. Even though Rainbow and Pinkie were her friends, she still felt nervous around them, like every other pony. "but I was just wondering, you know, what you guys are doing here?"

"Oh yeah" Dash suddenly remembered, with all of the chaos she almost forgot. "You know how Rarity had to go to Canterlot in such a hurry."

"Oh yes," Fluttershy said in a soft tone " She had to leave Opal here."

"Well we had all planned to go to a concert together but because of the emergency she can't make it "Rainbow answered "And we were wondering if you wanted to go with us."

Fluttershy didn't know how to respond. The fact was that she had never been to a concert before, the loud music didn't agree with her timid nature. But she also didn't want to disappoint her friends.

"Well, that's awfully kind of you to ask me," she said in the sweetest way possible " but don't know, why don't you ask Twilight or Applejack?" She asked hoping they would ask them instead.

" Well," Rainbow answered in a guilty tone " We already did, Applejack has to get up early and Twilight was busy organizing her library and said it would take all night"

Fluttershy felt a little bad that she was they're last choice to go, but was more upset that her way out was now gone. She was about to decline them as well when Pinkie came close to her face that they almost touched

" Please go with use Fluttershy," Begged Pinkie " we will have a ton of fun, and there will be food and music and it will be a like a giant party!!"

Fluttershy was at a lose for words. She didn't want to go, but when Pinkie looked at her with those giant eyes she just didn't have the heart to say no.

"Okay," Fluttershy finally gave in. Pinkie Pike lite up like a heart warming eve tree and gave her the biggest, tightest hug she ever got. Rainbow Dash was also happy, though she was more subtle about it then Pinkie. Then again, fireworks were more subtle then Pinkie Pie.

After she was released from the death grip of a hug, Fluttershy was finally able to ask

"So, if you don't mind me asking, what are we going to see?" asked her usual timid tone

Rainbow Dash was about to answer when Pinkie jumped on her back and shouted

"The Nightmare's!! They're this new band, and they are awesome! They tour around on a train all around Equestria! They are the most super spectacular amazing band in the world!!" Pinkie said under a single breath

"Yeah, I wouldn't go that far," Rainbow Dash said "but they are pretty good, and it will be a lot of fun, trust me."

Fluttershy was still unsure but she trusted her friends and after a few preparations they were all ready to head out. As they were walking, she was still a little nervous but also starting to get exited. She was exited to share a new experience with her good friends. Little did she know that this experience would change her life forever.
