Day 1
Dear diary,

I have been on this flying carriage for a very long time now. I am now regretting accepting those books from Twilight. I did, however, become acquainted with the pegasi drivers. Storm Twirl, and Lightning Tumble, very nice colts if you ask me. Storm Twirl has been in this occupation for 5 years and has met some very interesting ponies. Lightning Tumble, he on the other hand is very young and quite reckless. He nearly ran us into a rain cloud!!! That would have initially ruined my mane! We're almost there Storm Twirl told me. Thank Celestia.

As soon as I returned my diary to its rightful place, a shadow overcame the carriage. "I certainly hope it doesn't rain," I whined.

"That's not a rain cloud," Lightning Tumble looked up.

I looked up and realized my mistake. The shadow as I thought it was, actually was a shadow! A very large solid looking one at that. I braced myself for the worst and felt the thing collide with the carriage. The last thing I remember I was careening towards the ocean screaming.
