Chapter 1: Strom of the Century

Author note: Hey everypony I'm new at writing fic so feed back about my work would be very appreciated  also if you see potential and would like to help with proof reading i could use the help. Hope you enjoy.

It was late at night at Sweet Apple Acres and the thunder storm was raining hard with the sound of thunder heard in the distance. Normally storms were not a problem for the town of Ponyville unless the weather changed abruptly.

“Big Mac get those window covers on” yelled Applejack, closing the window near the front.

“Eeyup” replied Big Mac running around the house and covering up the windows on the side and back. “That’s all them AJ let’s get back in the house.” Both now running back into the house soaking wet and leaving a small puddle near the front door.

“Well that there was a doozy” she said shaking off the water on her mane and splashing him in the face leaving an unamused Big Mac staring at her. “Sorry about that Big Mac” giving an embarrassed smile and said, “Ah thought those weather ponies moved the storm cloud away from Ponyville yesterday?”

Shaking his own mane and splashing Applejack leaving her unamused and a smug look on his face said, “It’s ok sis and ah reckon they might of just missed some.”

“What *yawn* going on?” said a tired looking Applebloom half way down the stairs.

“Just a bit of a storm sugarcube. Now let’s go on back to bed” said Applejack when a loud crash could be heard shaking the house and the three for a few seconds.

“What the hay was that?” Applebloom asked looking at her older siblings with fear in her eyes.

“Don’t know” Big Mac said now trying to take a look outside through the screen door. “But you two stay put till I get back” he said running out the door. It was dark outside and the rain was not helping but it was still light enough to see a couple feet ahead. Big Mac ran towards where he thought he heard the crash came from running at a steady pace till he saw a giant shadow in the distance. ‘What the hay is that’ he thought now slowing down to a crawl. ‘Looks like some sort of giant snake. Best be ready case it’s ain't friendly.’ Walking slowly towards the down creature he could hear voices in the distance and decides to hide behind an apple tree and listen.

“Good job you idiot because of you five soldiers died and it got away” yelled an angry mare.

“Shut it you bitch if you would have just followed me from the beginning none of this would have happen. Besides it probably hasn’t gotten far yet with the damage I scored on it, if we leave now we can still catch up to it and kill it” yelled the stallion right back at her.

“Look around genius this is obviously a farm with civilians nearby they will become curious and come check out what happened besides we were ordered not to be seen by anypony in Equestria we have to go now” she said.

“Screw that we’re so close just one more good shot and it dead” he said.

“Orders are orders if you don’t come back right now I’ll tell the higher ups everything and that’s not if Equestrian royal guards catch you in their territory, but hey your call” she said and it sounded like she was taking off towards the skies. Moments of silence past by making Big Mac hold his breath thinking he might have been heard or spotted.

“THIS ISN’T OVER YET YOU FUCKER I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME AND I’LL BE BACK FOR YOUR HEAD” shouted the stallion then giving chase to his companion. Big Mac let out a sigh of relief and glances out from his hiding place to see one figures flying on strange creature in the distance and a small pegasus shadow next to it. ‘Now then what are ya exactly’ he thought to himself now heading towards strange creature. The creature appeared to look like a giant blue snake when he notice it had two dragon like arms as well as a pair wings. Big Mac decided to head towards what he thought would be the head.

“Yah know what the critter is Big Mac” asked Applejack.

“Ah reckon ah don’t but it is strange looking thing” said Big Mac.  He then stopped walking, his eyes opened wide in surprise to see Applejack next to him with a shy grin on her face. “What yah doing out here AJ? and what about Applebloom? Ah told ya to wait till ah got back” he said anger stretched across his face.

“Easy there Big Mac ah was just worried is all and besides Applebloom insisted ah come check up on ya” she said avoiding eye contact with her brother.

“Yer not a very good liar AJ, but yer here and all so theres nothing ah can do about that” he said continuing his walk. “But stay close incase this….thing is still alive” Applejack simply nodded and started walking right next to him. They walked for a few feet till they noticed the silhouette of what look like a dragons head.

“Is that a dragon?” Applejack asks looking at her brother with disbelief, “Ah mean Twi went on about how dragons are shaped different that one time the girls and ah were sent by Celestia to stop that dragon from snoozing.”

Big Mac said nothing and continued to walk closer to it only to stop abruptly and signals AJ to stop as well. Moving his ears back and forth he started to hear a strange sizzling sound. Before he could explain to AJ the sound he was earring the creature before them starts to change shape and forms into a water form of the creature. The water no longer being held in place started to give spasm of collapsing. Big Mac instinctively grabs his sister and tries to makes a run for it, but was to slow and both he and his sister were caught in the wave of water leaving them both drenched and a couple feet away from their house.

“Big Mac” asked a confused AJ “What the hay was that?”

“Ah have no idea AJ” Big Mac replied calmly “but ah reckon we should get inside before we catch a cold.” Applejack simply nodded and they both went to their warm house to escape the cold rain.

Before the Crash MPoV:

‘Shit shit shit shit’ I thought as another bolt of lightning soared near my wings only making me push my body to go faster.  Swerving back and forth between the trees hoping the three pursuers would give up. Alas that was not going to happen any time some as another bolt of lightning soars right by me again followed by arcane bolts of light.

“Come on!” yelled a male pursuer “Hold still so I can fry ya!”

'Yes let’s just ask the creature to stay still and get hit with about a thousand watts of electricity, surely he’ll let us’ I thought sarcastically. As the forest reached a clearing artificial light could be seen as well as six more wyvern riders were there, waiting for me. ‘That's new, there actually planning ahead instead of chasseing me till their rides get tired. Part of me is happy for them that they learned, yet sad I’m not the observer in this chase. Damn shame to would have made an interesting piece to write.’ Flapping my wings as hard as I could, I climb back up towards the skies to get a better look of my surroundings.  ‘Let’s see I have been flying south for quite some time now and should be near the border of Equestria at least or has it been days time flies when you’re being chased by a bunch of guards. Makes you just want to reminisce the good old…’ While I was lost in thought a bolt of lightning struck me in the back causing me to start nose diving towards the ground. Shaking off the attack quickly I folded my wing to continue the nose dive and ride the momentum back up. ‘Well no more thinking unless it’s about an escape route.’ Quickly scanning I could see a forest with little space to hide making it pointless for cover, mountains that could provide caves, but at the cost of it being a dead end or I could climb higher up towards the clouds.

  “Well clouds it is, but let’s makes things more interesting.” I said with a small grin etching across my face. As I charged towards the clouds they begin to darken and low sounding thunder could be heard.

Pursuers PoV:

“What the hell is he planning changing the clouds to storm clouds and flying towards them? That’s like a deathtrap waiting to happen.” Said a dark purple coated unicorn with lime green hair and eyes. Using her magic she increases her volume and says, “Everypony hold up something not right!” All nine soldiers cease their pursuit and form into a V shape pattern, except for one that came up in front of her.

“Why the fuck you stopping us Coldshower to have a tea party or something it’s getting away!” shouted an angry yellow pegasus stallion with a red mane and blood red eyes.

“Calm down Cloud it flew into a thunder storm and it would be stupid to follow it in there I suggest we stay below the clouds and wait for it or the storm to pass.” Coldshower said calmly.

“Yeah and I say we listen to the me the leader and follow it before I have to bitch slap a rookie to give me some information I don’t give a crap about.” Cloud said angrily.

“First off I might be a rookie but I was also given the same rank as you because of your last incident with this creature, secondly I don’t want to go into an electric hell hole for a chance to maybe get a few hits on hit or get fried in there and finally the wyverns are tired as it is we should make camp here and continue later.”  She stated as calm as possible. Some murmurs of agreements could be heard in the group.

“I got a better idea” he said with anger still in his voice. “I am going to go after it and anypony else who comes with me will get credit while the others get charged for treason.” He then took off straight towards the storm. Several minutes passed by and five other riders gave chase as well.

Coldshower looked at the remaining two soldiers and signaled them to follow. “Damn idiots are going to get them self killed; you two make camp hear I’m going to follow them for a bit” she said and flew in the same direction. Both guards saluted and flew down toward the grown to start making camp.

MPoV:

'Well it looks like my crazy plan worked’ I thought starting to slow down a bit to give my wings some time to rest.  ‘I mean honestly whose stupid enough to follow anyone in an electrical storm.’ The sound of thunder continued echoing all around me every few minutes.

“COME OUT! COME OUT! WHERE EVER YOU ARE?! YOU FUCKING GIANT SNAKE!” yelled a male voice.

“Ok first off... I’M NOT A FUCKING SNAKE YOU DUMB PIECE OF SHIT! I’M A DRAGON! AND SECOND OF ALL, ARE YOU FUCKING RETARTED TO ACTUALLY FOLLOW ME!” I yelled now flapping my wings hard again to escape.

“THERE YOU ARE!” as a streak of lighting went pass me followed by some more arcane bolts. I take a glance to see how many are following. ‘Three…five…six by the counts of it’ finishing my thoughts the sound of thunder could be heard mixed with the pain screams of a stallion. ‘Oh wait make that five now and might add not a good way to go’ I cringe a little, but continue to swerve left and right dodging the magic onslaught. For next ten minutes the processed repeat as well as one unlucky stallion getting hit with another bolt of lightning. ‘Ok four left and I’m starting to reach my limits’ as my body felt heavier and heavier with each flap of my wings. ‘I could probably pull off one more move before I become completely exhausted. Guess it’s time for plan B or was it D...Fuck it’ as I let myself stop to float in mid air the soldiers take the bait and start to circle around me.

“Oh what’s this you finally giving up” said a male pegasus flying a wyvern.

“Me no just thinking about how pathetic of a pony you are” I said with a smug look on my face. He responds by chucking a lightning bolt at me, but I leaned to the left and it flew past my face by mere inches. “I mean really it took you how many days to finally catch up to me. I mean a really soldier or knight would have just killed me day one and gone back home as a hero” I shrugged and continued “but not you noooooooo you had to be the biggest weak dumb pussy of the skies and have what twenty ponies chase me only to be left with six oh wait four. That’s pretty damn pathetic also if I’m not mistaken didn’t you kill most of them were as I killed like two maybe three tops” I said finishing up my speech with a smug look on my face. ‘Come on take the bait fishy’ I thought and was surprised to see a giant ball of electricity hovering over his head increasing in size in seconds. My face completely deadpan with one thought in my mind ‘Might of gone too far’ as the ball became the size of a small moon.

He chucked the ball right at me yelling with so much blood lust in his voice, “YOU FUCKING CCCCUUUUNNTTTT!”

The giant ball of electricity came towards me and the world seemed to slow to a crawl. The soldiers could be seen thanks to the ball’s light and had mouth opened staring at what their captain did. As the ball came a few feet away from hitting me I used magic to shed my skin and immediately went for a nose dive to escape. The soldiers now out of shock try to escape as well, but were too late as an ear piercing boom could be heard followed by a giant explosion of thunder. The explosion threw me off course for a bit, but I regained control and went into a slow descent towards the ground. ‘It’s kind of ironic that the same trick work twice on him’ I chuckle only to be interrupted by a jolting pain of electricity at the base of my skull. As my vision fades I could see a field of apple trees with no strength left I let my body nose dive towards them. With my sight becoming harder to see I started to black out andall I could hear in the distance was someone yelling cunt.

Cloud Watcher PoV:

‘I finally gonna kill this fucking thing’ thought Cloud Watcher a great smug look across his face. ‘No way in hell he won’t survive that hit. Wait what was that!’ He turned his head to see a shadow from where the dragon was going into a nose dive. When suddenly he remembers this very seen a couple of days ago; the ball hitting the dragon followed by a giant explosion killing fourteen soldiers leaving Cloud for dead or severally injured. “OH SHIT” he said jumping off his wyvern and going into his own nose dive to escape. The sound of explosion could be heard with the cries of his soldiers in pain and then nothing but the rubmle of thunder. Getting over the loss he starts to scan the skies for the dragon’s silhouette when he could sees it slowly descending. Cloud started to fly fast towards the creature, but quietly enough to not be notice or heard, while charging up another lightning bolt. ‘Fucker going to pay for what he did. Making me look like an idiot you smug little prick’ he thought charging it up even stronger and threw right at his head. The dragon could not even let out a cry of pain as it started to crash towards the ground. “WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING. I’M NOT DONE YET YOU CUUUUNNNTT” Cloud yelled now giving chase to it only to be stopped by a dark purple glow.

MPoV:

I awake to the feeling of the cold earth mixed with raindrop bouncing off my body. As I try to get up, regretting that idea immediately, as immense pain could be felt all over my body. Slowly I try to assets what’s broken by moving. I came at much less damage then I thought I would have my wings were completely broken, my left arm was out of place and there were what felt like giant bruises and cut all over my body. ‘The trees must have softened the landing’ I thought. Using the bit of magic I had left I shed myself again only this time I was no bigger than a garden snake. ‘Got to get out of here before my biggest fan finds me’ I started to slowly slither away from the crash scene and head west. I thought in the distance I heard somepony threatening to chop my head off, but ignored it and pressed on. After a few miles of going in and out of unconsciousness I had to stop in the center of town to catch my breath and rest. My mind still fading in and out I saw some ponies running through the rain getting their houses ready for the storm.  ‘Good thing they can’t see me or they might try and finish me off’ I chuckled slightly before I fell down completely exhausted. “This is it, huh I've thought of many different scenarios of me dying, but this is kind of sad to die here in this what look like to be a peaceful little village of blood loss of all things” I said out loud. As I start to fall asleep I thought I heard someponies voice calling out to me.

“Excuse me but are you alright?” asked a concerned female voice.

“Great now I’m hearing things I’m going to die crazy” I said with a soft chuckle. Then my body began to feels less heavy and my back felt warm as if I was lying on a fur coat. Surprised by this odd feeling I force my eyes open to get a better look at what was happening. My vision was still fuzzy, but my body was surrounded by a light purple glow. Turning my head slightly I caught a glimpse of a lavender unicorn with purple mane with a pink streak going thru it. “You can see me?” I asked confused. “I thought that I was invisible no normal pony should be able to see me unless they are either very perceptive or very strong in magic.”

“Well it helps if you’re special talent is magic” she let out a small laugh and continued “and you really shouldn’t keep talking just save you strength and hold on ok” she said with concern in her voice and what felt like her trotting towards somewhere.

“Fine, fine, but one more question” I said feeling unconsciousness take over “What’s my savior’s name?”

“My name is Twilight Sparkle” she said “What or who are your?”

Before I could answer everything went black.

Chapter 2: So is this Heaven?

Hey everypony me again and a couple of things first i would really appreciate comments to be able to make the story better so don't be shy or afraid to be harsh second tell me your thoughts is the story interesting or is it just sucking third i could use help if you want to help that would be appreciated and finally i won't be popping up stories everyday this was by chance i at least will try to get a chapter up every two to three weeks and the length will vary. I hope you enjoy it.

Twilight POV:

Twilight was just coming back from helping the Mayor handle the sudden panic of the town caused by the storm and was relieved that it was finally over with so she could get back to her studies. That’s when she noticed a strange mist in the center of the road being avoided by ponies as if it wasn’t even there. ‘That’s…peculiar’ she thought as she trotted over to the mist to get a better look ‘Is this some sort of new spell somepony is practicing. No this seems way to advance to be a simple cloak spell.’ When she got closer she started to notice that the image became clearer and instead of mist was now what looked like a blue snake. At first she would have ran off screaming since she had a bad experience with snakes as a filly, when she noticed its breathing was raspy as if in pain. Getting even closer she noticed that the snake’s wings were bending in a weird direction, its left arm looked to be disconnected from its body and was covered in many cuts and bruises now turning a dark purple and a small pool of blood was mixing with the water. ‘What are you or more importantly is it ok?’ she thought when suddenly the creature seemed to talk.

“This is it huh thought of many different scenarios of me dying, but this is kind of sad to die here in this what look like to be a peaceful little village of blood loss of all things” It said out loud.

“Excuse me but are you alright?” She asked ‘It or he I believe seems friendly enough and more importantly in pain I have to help him’ she thought.

“Great now I’m hearing things I’m going to die crazy” he said with a soft chuckle.

‘Well he sounds delusional probably from the blood lose. I better get him to the library and see if there’s a book about helping whatever kind of creature he is’ she thought and reached out with her magic. His body started to glow purple and was lifted gently onto her back. As she started to trot towards the library she felt him start to notice the sudden change and asked “You can see me?” he sound confused “I thought that I was invisible no normal pony should be able to see me unless they are either very perceptive or very strong in magic.”

“Well it helps if you’re special talent is magic” she let out a small laugh and continued “and you really shouldn’t keep talking just save you strength and hold on ok” as she said that started to trot faster feeling his blood starting to slide down her coat.

“Fine, fine, but one more question” he said and sounded as if he was about to pass out “What’s my savior’s name?”

“My name is Twilight Sparkle” she said “What or who are your?” but before she could get an answer he passed out. ‘Looks like I’ll have to ask him later’ thought disappoint, but remembering his life was in her hoofs started to run as fast as she could while holding him still with her magic to prevent him from bouncing to make his injuries worst. As she neared her home she used her magic to slam the door open and closed when she got inside. She immediately grabbed the first aid kit and gentle wrapped him up as best as she could then laid him down on her light red couch. “There that should do for now, but I don’t know if I should give him some medicine it might be dangerous or it could help lessen the pain” she said deep in thought.

“What give *yawn* Twi I was having an awesome dream” said an annoyed Spike slowly walking down the stairs.

“Sorry Spike I was in a bit of a rush I guess” she said with a sheepish smile “since you’re awake I need some help do you know where Exotic Creatures of Equestria is at?”

“I think over there” he pointed to a bookshelf on the opposite side of the room “Why?” he asked.

“Take a look” she said pointed with her hoof now lost in the book she was looking for.

Spike shrugged and decided to look at where she pointed and saw something wrapped in bandages. “Whoa what is it some sort of snake or something?” he asked still looking at him.

“First I believe it’s a he and second I don’t think he’s a snake, yes he shares similar traits of a snake like how it moves and how his body felt, but his feature are more like a dragon like his face, claws and wings” she said still skimming through the book to find what exactly he might be.

“Uh Twi I think he’s trying to say something” said Spike a bit nervous now. Twilight set the book down and trotted over to the couch. He seemed to be repeating the same word, but it was to quiet to hear so she had to lean down near his mouth.

“Wa….ter” he said but now started to hack and cough for a few seconds before calming down. Twilight ran to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water floating right next to her. She gently put the water near his lips. At first nothing happened the glass was just floating in her magic pressed up against his mouth and Twilight was starting to panic, but relaxed when she could hear the sound of him drinking the water a bit too fast and started to cough again.

“Can you hear me it’s me Twilight” she said trying to calm him down “don’t worry I’m going to help you ok just don’t move” and headed back off towards the book. She thought she heard something and asked “Spike did you say something?”

“No Twi it was him again I think he’s asking for more water” said Spike now leaning close towards him.

“Ok be back in a sec” she said and started to walk off towards the kitchen.

“Hold on a sec Twi I think there’s more” Spike said now hovering over the creature his ear inches from its mouth. “Co…con…container? I think he wants a water container” said Spike look confused and asked “Why do you suppose he wants that?”

“I’m not sure…unless” she said now lost in thought then she seemed to brighten up and said “Of course his body shape and the way he looks and how the bit of water gave him some strenght that must be it” and ran off towards the kitchen with sound of pots and pan hitting the ground. Spike even more confused chased after her to only be hit by Twilight running towards the basement. Before he could get back up and dust himself off she came back and knocked him down again only this time brining a wooden barrel only a head taller than him with her towards the sink. Spike tried to get back up again to only see Twilight run back out, but this time rolled out of the way. He was about to celebrate his success only to be hit by the barrel and hit the ground again.

“Oh come on that wasn’t even fair” he said throwing his hands in the air.

“Huh oh sorry Spike” she said lifting Spike up towards her and kissing his forehead causing him to blush slightly.

“Ah stop it Twi I’m fine but what was with all the running” he said trying to push Twilight away.

“Oh that why don’t you take a look” she said pointing at the barrel.

“Uh yeah Twi I remember the barrel” he said dryly while pointing towards his head.

Twilight rolled her eyes and said “No look inside the barrel.” Spike shrugged and hopped on her back to get a better look. He saw the creature at the bottom of the barrel sleeping peacefully.

“So it lives in the water and that’s why it looked like it was dying because it couldn’t breathe?” Spike asked.

“I don’t think it’s that simple, but the water seems to be making him feel better” she said with a curious look in her eye.

“Twi I know that look and you should wait till he’s feeling better” Spike said knowing exactly what she was thinking.

“But think about what we could learn or better yet he could be a new species that would make Equestrian history.” she said bouncing happily up and down causing Spike to jump down. “Oh I better get started on what I already know about him” she said and started to scribble on a piece of paper.

Spike simply sighed and started to head back up stairs. He made it half way and said “Whatever I’m going back to bed don’t stay up to long.”

“Mmm-hmm” she said while looking back and forth between the creature and her notes. Spike just chuckled and got into his bed and quickly fell asleep.

The next day:

Twilight was asleep on her desk with a little pool of drool on her desk and was surrounded by different sizes and colors of books. She wanted to sleep for a bit longer, but was interrupted by Spike who was franticly trying to get her up. “Come on Twi wake up we have a problem here” he said now using his claws to force her eyes open to look directly into his.

Twilight groggily woke up and asks “What’s *yawn* the problem no more gems or are you going to be late for that trip you’re going on with Rarity?”

“What?” Spike says confused but snaps out of it “no we have plenty of gem and I’m helping her out later today, but it looks like your friend ran off” he said while pointing towards the barrel surrounded by mist. Twilight immediately woke up and started to take more notes about this strange magic while getting a couple of concerned looks from Spike, Twilight explained to him what was happening and how she first encountered him.

“So he can turn invisible and only certain ponies can seem him is the jist of it right” he said still squinting his eyes at the area where the barrel was/is.

“Yes I believe he’s doing it subconsciously it is quite interesting that he can do high level spells let alone magic to begin with” she said while finishing up her notes and placing them back together in a neat pile on her desk. “I always wanted to try this spell” she said happily and turned towards the barrel. Focusing her magic the outline of the barrel could be seen and it started to slowly reappear.

“That’s amazing Twi” Spike said with a big smile on his face and hops onto the couch to get a look inside the barrel. As he looked down he jumped back in surprised and said “What the… but how did he.” Before he could finish Twilight ran over towards the barrel and had a similar reaction at what she saw. In the barrel was the same creature, but his wings were back to a normal direction, but still looked like they were not ready to fly, his arm was reconnected and good amount of his cuts and bruises were gone. “Twi did you do something last night?” Spike asked with disbelief in his voice.

“No I didn’t do anything unless….” She said now lost in thought again.

“Unless?” Spike asked now looking at her with concern.

“I’m not sure Spike” she said with a determine look she started to head outside.

“Hey Twi where are you going?” Spike asked.

“To Fluttershy she’ll probably have a better idea about what kind of creature it is” she said before closing the door.

Hours later MPoV:

‘Ooooh my aching everything’ I thought as I slowly started to wake up. I slowly opened my eyes to see I was at the bottom of a wooden barrel full of water. ‘I guess they must have got my message last night or was it early morning’ I thought as I carefully got up and checked my body. ‘My wings look at least normal but not ready to fly, my arm is not dislocated anymore, but still a bit sore and the more serious cuts and bruises are gone’ I thought as I swam to the top of the barrel and used my claws to hang on to the top ‘Now let’s see where exactly am I.’ I was in a small library with many rows of bookshelves full of what else books of many shape, sizes and colors in the distance I could make out what I think is a kitchen and some stairs behind me leading off towards a bedroom possibly. There was a wooden desk in the center also stacked with more books and papers. ‘That’s peculiar why would Twilight …Sprinkle no no uhhh Sparkle I think bring me here. Maybe to see if there was any information about me in a book’ I thought but my train of thought was lost when the door slammed open. Before I could react a yellow blur raced over towards me and started to cradle me like a mother would for their foal.

“Oh you poor thing are you alright” said a mare with a gentle voice. I was able to move my head a bit of ways to get a better look at her. She was a yellow pegasus with a pink mane covering her face a bit and on her flank were three butterflies for a cutie mark. Still a bit out of it she kept holding me for a couple of minutes until she must have felt me wince every once and a while and gently puts me down on the couch.

“Now you stay right here and I’ll be right back” she said as she trotted up stairs. ‘Uh what the hell going on and why is she being nice to me’ I thought. She came back with a first aid kit in her mouth and set it down below and started to grab out some bandages. As she reaches for me I instinctively scoot back a bit ‘Wait what am I doing she obviously just wants to help’ I thought.

“It’s ok I’m not going to hurt you” she says with a smile that would melt ice.

“Sorry about that old habits die hard and what not” I said holding out my wings to her.

“Oh you can talk” she said a bit surprised. She grabbed my wing gently and started to wrap them in bandages. “I mean I’m sorry I thought you were a dragon, but I didn’t want to insult you” she said with an apologetic look on her face.

“I’m sorry but what did you call me?” I asked as calmly as I could.

“Oh…um….a dragon” she whispered. She was just finish with my wings and was now trying to make herself as small as possible.

“FUCKING FINALY!” I yelled. This made her jump and hide behind the pile of books near the desk. Feeling a bit embarrassed I said “Uh excuse me miss I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scare you, but you would not believe how many people call me a snake or a lizard and I was just so relieved that you didn’t so could you please come out.” A pregnant silence held the room for a while and she still didn’t come out ‘Wow I must have really scared her, so let’s try to lighten the mood with a joke.’ “Excuse me Miss but I need some help with some bandaging and you don’t have to worry I won’t bite, scratch or do that tongue thing snakes do” I said with a slight laugh. I listen and look in her general direction to hear a giggle coming from the left side of the desk. Couple of minutes later and she comes out from hiding and slowly trots over towards me and starts putting some ointment on my cuts and bruises and wraps them up with bandages.

“So miss…?” I asked.

“Fluttershy” she whispered, but I couldn’t hear her.

“I’m sorry I didn’t catch that. What was it?” I asked again.

“Fluttershy” she said a bit louder this time, but still barely audio able.

“Flutter…shy” I asked with a nervous smile. She simply nodded her head and finished patching me up. “So Miss Fluttershy I’m going out on a limb here but you’re a veterinarian right?” I asked trying to get her to relax.

“Oh yes, but how did you know?” she asked me a bit happier now and more importantly less nervous of me.

“Oh just your techniques and how you were very kind. You must really love all kind of animals” I said with a smile.

“Oh yes I have a lot of animal friends back at my home that I just love to take care of” she said with a smile on her face. So we sat there and talked for a bit about all the animals she takes care of and how her little rabbit Angel is a mischief little guy until my stomach started to growl.

I rub the back of my head embarrassed and say “Sorry about that it’s been a couple of days since I last ate.”

“Oh it’s ok I’m sure Twilight won’t mind if you eat some of her food” she said and motion for me to hop on her back, so I did and as she walked towards the kitchen she asked “So um what do you eat?”

“Well normally I eat meat…” Fluttershy stopped and looked at me with fear so I quickly continued “No not like pony meat or little critter meat like fish meat, but I can also eat fruit and stuff like that.” She seems to understand what I meant, but still didn't look to happy. ‘Way to go idiot we just spend like an hour talking about all her animal friends and you tell her you eat meat without explaining right away.’

We arrive in the small kitchen and she sets me down on the kitchen table where she notices the gems and asks “Um do you eat gem like other dragons” now keeping eye contact to a minimal.

“Uh no not really, I personally don’t like the taste and are you still concerned about what I said?” I asked.

“No not really, but it’s just *whisper too quietly*” she said tapping her hooves together and still not looking at me.

I just sigh and say “Don’t worry Fluttershy I promise I won’t eat any of your friends.” She seems to brighten up a bit and makes some eye contact with me. As I look around the kitchen for something to eat I notice a couple of apples left out. “How about those?” I said while pointing towards them. She sees what I’m pointing at and head over there. I could hear the sound of her chopping them up to small pieces with a knife ‘How in the hell do they hold knives with their hooves’ I thought. When she finishes she sets the knife down, brings a small tray of the apples over to the table.

“Wow these are probably the best apple I have ever had in my entire life” I said as I munched one down.

She happily smiled and said “My friend owns the apple farm that grows them.” Before I could ask which direction it was at we heard the slam of a door open. Fluttershy eeped and hid in the pantry that should not even be able to fit a pony of her size.

“Fluttershy…where…are you” called Twilight who sounded exhausted.

Fluttershy was still shocked so I answered “We’re in the kitchen.”

“What…do…you mean…” Twilight came in and her jaw was hanging and was just staring at me.

“You know it’s rude to stare” I said with smug look on my face as I bit into another apple slice.

“You’re awake” she said surprised.

“So are you” I reply back with a no shit look making her blush a bit.

She eventually starts to smile and get the look of a curious child wanting to ask a lot of questions, but before she could even get the chance a crash could be heard from the front making Twilight turn around and start a conversation that I could only get the jist and soon she ran out the front door. ‘Something about the dam going to break because of too much water and how it will flood if not destroying Ponyville. That’s definitely not good and is somewhat my fault.’

“Hey Fluttershy I need your help” I said now looking at the pantry she was hiding in. She didn’t respond so I continued “Fluttershy I need your help or something bad might happen.”

This got her to stick her head out and ask while stuttering a bit “S-s-something b-b-bad?”

“Yeah it sounds like the dam is going to break soon and it might destroy the town” I said calmly while looking at the clear blue sky from the table.

“W-what can I do?” she asks now coming out a bit more.

“I need you to take me where the water going to come from” I said. She didn't respond and just stared at me for a while not sure whether to say yes or no. ‘I’m really not going to like doing this to her, but this is somewhat my fault and this place seems like a really nice town.’ “Fluttershy not only will ponies be affected, so will the animals and you’re the only one that can help me get there fast enough” I said. This seems to snap her out of it tears were starting to form, but she was doing a good job not to cry. She came over towards me to let me on, so I jumped onto her head and we ran out the back door.

Chapter 3: Problem Solved

AN: Hey everypony me again so still noticed no comments yet so either i'm so good at writing that there's no need which i highly doubt, but enough about that. Even if no one is reading this i'm still going to continue to write, but if somepony is leave a comment about anything really.

MPOV:

Bright

I was surprised to see how it was so bright and sunny outside. It was as if the storm last night never even happened. The town was busy with ponies of different shape, type and colors going about their business. Foals were chasing one another, some were selling varies thing like food or jewelry and some were just standing next to one another gossiping. ‘This can’t be real this is just… so damn peaceful, but here it is right in front of me’ I was completely hypnotized by the scene and completely forgot what we were set at to do until I heard “Um excuse me…if it’s not too much trouble where are we suppose to go?” Fluttershy asked.

Snapping out it I reply “Beats me, where’s this dam of yours?” As she pointed towards it a loud audible blast could be heard. “That can’t be good” I said. As if on cue the whole town started to panic the adults would grab the foals and run for higher grounds, the pegasus would swoop down to help as many as they could and I think I heard one shout ‘The horror the horror’ which was directed towards me I think ‘What the hell wrong with that pony’. “Ok Fluttershy get going” I said she didn’t move she was trembling. I was rather proud that she didn’t faint or run for a place to hide, but we had to move now before the town would get destroyed. “Fluttershy!” I yelled “Get going remember this is for Ponyville and the animal’s sake.”

“R-r-right.” She said and started to fly towards the direction of the dam.

Twilight PoV before the dam breaks:

Twilight was running as fast as she could to keep up with Rainbowdash, but the run back from Fluttershy’s home was starting to get to her and was starting to lose sight of her friend. As they reached the dam they were stopped by some of the royal guards. They were obviously recruits because they didn’t wear the golden armor like normal guards but were wearing bronze armor, but were still enchanted to make them all look alike. The guards jumped in front of our path forcing us to stop.

“Hey what’s going on here” yelled Dash at the guard in front of her.

“Sorry Mam no one is allowed past this point” replied the guard.

“Where trying to fix the dam and it’s much easier to fix when we don’t have civvies in the way” said another guard a bit annoyed now.

“How…is it coming…along” Twilight asked trying to catch her breath.

“It might not be fixable thanks to that freak storm we had last night. We could try to drain some of it out slowly but that could cause the whole dam to collapse or the better option is to  let it drain out completely and then fix it” said another guard but was wearing a silver set of armor making him the highest ranking member amongst them.

“But that could affect… no it could destroy Ponyville” yelled Dash now face to face with one of the guards.

“Mam if you continue this behavior I will have no choice, but to arrest you.” He said clearly past the point of annoyed.

“I could fix it” said Twilight now being the center of attention she continued “I did it before when I was teaching my friend about being humble for doing good deeds” she said with a smile.

The guards looked at each other and then back at her and started to laugh hysterically. Dash and Twilight both looked at one another with confused expressions Dash asked “What’s so funny?”

One of guards still getting over their laugh said “What’s funny is that your friend here thinks she can fix a dam that requires precise expertise, knows how the mechanisms work and proper structure with nothing but magic" The other guards were now settling down from there laugh and same guard asked "I mean honestly how old are you?”

“Uh fourteen why?” she said warily, but this just made the guards laugh all over again.

“Shut up” yelled Dash charging towards the closest one, but was stopped by a purple glow.

“Don’t Dash you could get charged with assault” pleaded Twilight setting her down next to her.

“Smart move kid, now go back to your town and let the adults handle this” said the silver guard and signal for his troops to get back into formation. Leaving Rainbowdash and Twilight to turn back around and head for town.

“What a bunch of jerks I mean don’t they realize if they let the water out it will go straight towards Ponyville full force and all” Dash said now flying next to Twilight.

“I know Dash, but they were just doing their jobs even if they were a bit rude” Twilight said.

“So do you think they’ll be able to fix?” Dash asked.

“I don’t know” said Twilight who now started to walk faster “but we should go get ready just in case. Dash can you fly ahead and let the Mayor know what’s going on?”

“Yeah no prob” Dash said flying off leaving a rainbow trail behind. Twilight continued down the path and reached Ponyville only to be stopped by a familiar voice.

“Howdy there sugarcube what’s going on?” asked Applejack walking towards Twilight and was followed by Pinkie, Rarity and Spike.

“Ooh Ooh pick me pick me” Pinkie Pie said now jumping up and down holding one hoof up in the air.

“Uh go ahead Pinkie” said Spike pointing at her.

“Yaaaaaay, well TwilightandDashieweregomingtogofixthedambutthosemeanguardswouldn’tletthemgohelpandwere

beingmeaniemicmeaniepantsandstartedtoheadbacktotownsoTwisentDashietogotelltheMayoraboutthedamandthen

AJwaslike…” Pinkie said before Applejack put her hoof to her mouth to stop her from talking.

(Don't know what going on with the huge gap and can't seem to fix it)

“Uh maybe we should let Twi explain Pinkie” said Applejack now looking at Twilight for an explanation. Twilight explained to them what was going on with the dam and how the guards were just being stubborn.

“That is quite troublesome darling” said Rarity “Even if they do only choose to release some of the pressure it could cause the ground to get all muddy ruining my fabulous outfits.”

“Don’t worry Rarity I will shield you and your outfits from the mud” said Spike puffing out is chest and pointing at himself.

Applejack rolled her eyes and said “Ah think will have more of a problem than fru fru outfits gettin dirty.”

“Girls girls this is still just what if’s I’m sure the guards will fix it and even if they couldn’t they would at least let us know so we could get prepared for worse” Twilight said with a smile that quickly changed when she notice Pinkie Pie started to act up. Applejack realized her hoof is still in her mouth and released her to allow her friend to continue her strange dance like movement.

“Oh boy is that what ah think it means?” AJ asks now looking around with concern.

“Rubbery leg, tingly back, floppy ears, chattering teeth and twitchy eye” she said while doing the actions.

“Well the first two indicate that something is going to break, but I’m not too familiar with the last three” said Rarity sounding a bit confused.

“Me neither what do they mean Pinkie?” asked Applejack.

“Well floppy ears and chattering teeth means ponies are going to panic” she said now positioned like a sage “and twitchy eye means somepony’s going to fix it.” Before Twilight could even doubt what Pinkie said a loud blast could be heard in the distance now mixed with roar of water coming towards them.

Dash PoV:

Dash arrived at the Mayor’s office and explained the situation to her when suddenly a loud blast could be heard. ‘What the hay’ she thought and flew back outside to see ponies scrambling about in panic. She was about to go back to get the Mayor when she suddenly came outside and started to take control of the situation and gave orders to evacuate. Seeing that the Mayor had everything under control over here Dash decided to go see if Twilight needed any help. She was about to head over there when she noticed the giant rush of water heading towards Ponyville and flying towards the wave was her best friend Fluttershy. ‘Is that Fluttershy what the hay does she thinks she doing’ Dash tried to get her attention but notice her friend wasn’t listening and continued to head towards the wave. Dash started to panic about her friend’s rather bold action and decided to try to catch up with her, but she was going surprisingly fast. This made Dash start ascending really high towards the sky and turn back down to start a nose dive. Faster and faster she went slowly catching up with her friend. A white cone started to slowly form around her as she nearly closed the gap between her when suddenly Fluttershy nose dived towards the wave of water. In the distance Dash could hear and see her friends surprised to see Fluttershy standing right in front of where the water was going to come from in a matter of minutes.

“Fluttershy what in tarnation are you doing girl we’v got to get out of here” said Applejack now running over towards her. The wave was merely a couple of seconds from hitting her when Dash got next to her friend.

“Fluttershy come on we got to go” Dash said now trying to move her, but she didn’t even budge. Dash turned around to see the wave about to crash down on her and her friend.

She closed her eyes and braced for the inevitable hit, but instead an unknown voice cried out “Water hear my command and halt.”

After a couple seconds of nothing happening Dash slowly opened her eyes and jumped back in surprise. She saw the wave of water flowing like normal only to be stop right in front of her. Mouth drop she turned to look at Twilight to see if she did this and notice her friends were showing the same expression as were some of the ponies now walking out from the town.

“So…” said the same voice making Dash slowly turn towards the sound to see there was a creature on top of Fluttershy’s head “neat trick huh” it said with a smile across its face.

MPoV:

'Wow this cyan blue pegasus sure can fly fast’ now noticing her up close she had magenta eyes with a rainbow mane and tail with a cutie mark of a thundercloud shooting a rainbow lightning bolt. ‘She still seems to be out of it’ waving my hands in front of her to try and snap her out of it, but it didn’t work. So I decided to take a look around and notice similar reaction in a sea of ponies from the town except for one pink pony with a slightly dark pink mane that resembled cotton candy with a set of balloons for a cutie mark, who was giving me an insanely huge smile spreading across her face ‘wow is that even possible’ making me give an awkward smile back to her which she responded with a wave. Glancing back towards the crowd I noticed their facial expression were still the same ‘Well we could sit here probably all day, but I rather get back to that library and get some more rest’ I thought.

“Uh excuse me everypony can I have your attention” I said this got a mix reaction of some calming down, some still keeping that open mouth expression, some looking at me in fear and one shouting ‘the horror the horror’ and sprinting off somewhere else. ‘Really lady I just saved your flank and you do that again’ I face palmed and continued “Does anypony know how to fix a dam?”

“Ooh ooh ooh pick me pick me” said the same pink pony.

“Uh…sure I pick you pink pony in the front” I said pointing at her.

This made her giggle slightly “No silly willy that’s not my name, but you got the first part right try again” she says sitting their eagerly staring at me with her blue eyes.

“Uh well…let me…uh” I said dumbfounded that I now had to guess her name. ‘Well let’s see what do I know about her…well she’s pink, has a cutie mark with balloons so she likes to party I guess, she’s pink, has a…peculiar smile, she’s pink…uh did I mention she’s pink’ I thought now more confused than before I shrugged “Uh Pink…” she start to smile even more “…e” I said with an awkward smile.

She started to jump up and down yelling “Yay you got it. Also I would have except Pinkie Pie, Pinks or Pinkamina Diane Pie oh and also I don’t only like parties I love parties and throw them to” she said. ‘Wow that was a lucky guess…’  Now it was my turn, mouth wide opened I simply stared ‘Wait did she just…no that’s impossible’ but before I could ask she said “Oh before I forget my friend Twilight here can fix the dam” she said now standing next to Twilight. ‘Wait how the hell did she get over there when she was…’ looking back at her original spot there she was still looking at me with a bright smile. I quickly looked back and forth between her and Twilight’s spot trying to process what just happen ‘I think my mind was just blown’ was all I could think of before I remembered the wall of water behind me.

“So Miss Twilight you can fix the dam?” I ask her now looking at her.

This seems to have snapped her out of it and replies hesitantly “Y-y-yes I can.”

“Good then can you come over here I believe Fluttershy has passed out while standing” I said dryly and as if on cue she flops down causing Twilight and the blue pegasus next to her to panic.

“Fluttershy are you alright?” they both ask at the same time.

“Don’t worry she’ll be fine. It would be for the best if you just let her rest.” I said as I started to slither towards Twilight, but before I could reach her I was pushed down and held in place by the blue pegasus.

“Just who or what the hay are you and what did you do to her” she yelled inches from my face and was pushing down hard on my chest.

“Rainbowdash stop he’s injured and is also the one who’s stopping the water from crashing into Ponyville” Twilight pleaded. This caused her to let up enough for me to slip out and slither my way towards Twilight. She giggled a little as I was climbing my way towards her head and then I wrapped myself around her horn enough to let me stay in place and not slide off.

“It’s true that I’m partly responsible for her passing out, but she could have said no and she knew what she was getting herself into” I said now eyeing her coldly this made her back off a bit. An orange mare with a yellow mane, three small red apples for a cutie mark and was wearing an awesome light brown Stetson hat was about to say something, but I raise my hand to stop her. “Sorry miss, but I can’t hold this up forever you can ask me question later. Now let’s get going Miss Twilight the sooner the better” I said.

“Oh ok…um Applejack can you and the girls go to the library and wait for me this should only take a bit” Twilight said to the orange mare.

“Sure thing sugar cube just uh hurry on back now” said the orange mare with a southern accent.

With that Twilight started to head towards the dam, but hesitated “Um could you maybe do something about that” she said pointing towards the water.

“Huh oh right my bad” I said and the water started to flow back a bit. With the path somewhat if not a bit muddy clear she started to walk towards the dam while I made the water slowly flow back towards the dam with each step she took. It only took half an hour to get to the dam and took only a couple of minutes for Twilight to fix it. ‘Wow she definitely earned that cutie mark’ we were now heading back the sun was starting to set. We were about half way there and I just had to ask her something. “So Miss Twilight can I ask you something?” I asked.

“Please just Twilight and what’s on your mind” she said.

“Well I noticed you’re really knowledgeable and strong in magic and I was just curious why somepony like you wouldn’t know a teleportation spell or something?” I asked. She suddenly stopped to think about what I just said and groaned followed by a facehoof. “You’re kidding right?” I asked. I can feel her temperature rise which indicated that she was blushing making me laugh and fall hard to the ground, but that didn’t stop me from me laughing.

“I’ve just been so busy and distracted” she said rather quickly still slightly blushing.

“Uh huh sure whatever you say” I said holding back a grin. Twilight started to focus her magic around her and me in a purple glow which was followed by a bright purple light filling my vision for a couple of seconds. When I got my sight back I noticed we were now back in town in front of the library. As Twilight opened the door I could hear some talking going on, but was stopped when they noticed us. Fluttershy was about to say something, but I raised my hand to stop her “I’ll answer all questions as soon as Twilight, if you would be so kind, changes the water in the barrel with some fresh water” I said.

“Who or what makes you all high and mighty as to boss us around” said Rainbowdash who looked annoyed.

“Ah agree with Dash on this one” said Applejack.

“Look Miss Dash and Miss Applejack I going to level with you on this. I’ve been flying for the past week or two non-stop and not only am I tired, but still injured so be it as it may I would really appreciate it if you two would just let Twilight go change the water so I can get myself comfortable enough to answer some of your questions” I said  trying to hold back some of my anger.

“Um…e-e-excuse me, but p-please don’t fight” said Fluttershy on the verge of crying.

This made the three of us feel guilty and I sigh heavily then said “I’m sorry you two I didn’t mean to act like that, but there is a reason why I need Twilight to change the water.” This got everyone to look at me with curiosity. “You see water has healing properties that heal me. I mean you should have seen me before today, yesterday I was a complete mess am I right Twilight” I said looking at her, but she was too busy writing down some notes and didn’t hear me.

“So that explains why you were mostly healed up when it was morning huh that’s pretty cool” said a purple baby dragon with green scales going along his back.

“Yeah that’s right little man” I said.

“Hey don’t call me little last time I checked I’m bigger than you” he replied back now a bit annoyed.

“Sorry kid, but I’m much older than I look” I said.

“Well you sure don’t look old to me darling. Might I ask how old you are?” Asked a beautiful white mare with a clean purple mane and three diamonds for a cutie mark.

“Thank you and you are quite lovely yourself” this made her blush a bit and I continued “Actually truth be told it’s been so long that I can’t even remember, but if I had to guess maybe eight or nine hundred thousands of years old give or take” I reply nonchalantly this made everypony stare open mouth again even Twilight stopped writing and was looking right at me. I started to snap my claws to get them to snap out of it “Oh come on we just got over this a couple of hours ago” I said while flopping to the floor which I regretted because I was still injured.

Fluttershy snapped out of it and rushed over to me and started to cradle me again. After a couple of minutes she sets me on her back and asks “Are you feeling better?”

“Uh yes thank you Fluttershy” I said a bit embarrassed. “So Twilight can you get that water for me so we can get started?” I asked. Twilight nodded and levitated the barrel with her. The others started to get comfortable in their spots when Twilight returned with the barrel and set it in front of the others. Fluttershy walked over to the barrel to let me jump in, as I jumped in the nice cool water felt nice on my scales and I circled around the bottom for a bit before I decided enough was enough and rested on the side with my hands. “So to be fair I’m going to let Twilight ask her questions first since I know she’s been waiting to ask me for a while” I said.

This made Twilight really brighten up as she pulled out a bunch of loose paper with some quills by her side and ready to take down a lot of notes. I had only one thought when I saw her action and her friend’s facial expression ‘This is going to be a long night’.

Chapter 4: So you are?

Author notes: Hey everypony me again sorry took so long, but this chapter was kind of hard because it gives you some background info and I had to think carefully also I was having trouble getting some of the way they speak. Hopefully I got it down well enough, but since nopony been leaving any comments I'm not to sure. So the usual leave a comment about anything really I'm all ears.

The girls and I were at apparently Twilight’s home which so happens to be the library and were going to hopefully get all their questions out of the way. Twilight was the most excited out of her friends and had a smile that could rival Pinkie Pie. However fate wanted to tease Twilight when Rarity, which I found out during thier quick introductions, suggested we get something to eat. Twilight was protesting with such passion that we almost didn’t until her stomach betrayed her causing her to blush and simply nod in agreement. About an hour later with full stomachs we all sat back down while Spike came in last bring some tea for everypony.

“I must say Applejack you sure know your way around an apple. I mean that apple soup was simply delicious” I said.

“Thank ya kindly, also ah was wondering if ah could ask ya something real quick” she asked but stopped when she notice Twilight scowling at her which I thought was pretty cute.

“Sorry Applejack, but I did promise Twilight I would let her go first once she’s done you can go next” I said with a slight chuckle this made Twilight brighten up and she got herself ready to take down notes.

“So I know this has been on everyponies mind but what is your name?” she asked.

“I don’t have a name” I replied this seem to get me some confused looks.

“What do ya mean ya don’t got a name?” Applejack asked.

“Yeah that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense” said Rainbowdash.

“I don’t have a name for a reason which probably follows who or what I am” I said.

“Um…if you don’t mind me saying you said you were a dragon” said Fluttershy.

“Wait he’s a dragon I thought he was a talking snake with wings” said Rainbowdash.

“First off I’m not a snake” glaring at Rainbowdash for a couple of seconds then I calmed down and continued “Technically I’m a dragon, but I’m not at the same time.”

“So what are you then?” Twilight asked paper and quill ready to write.

“I’m a spirit or more precise a water spirit” I said getting even more confused looks from the group.

“What the hay is a spirit?” asked Rainbowdash.

“Yes I’m afraid I’m not too familiar ither” said Rarity.

“Hold on a sec I think I have a book somewhere” Twilight said, but before she could get up Pinkie came over and placed a book in front of her.

“Here you go” Pinkie said now hopping back to her spot with a smile on her face.

Twilight was surprised at first, but got over it and was now reading the book. Only I was surprised by how she was able to do that and everypony else seemed to be waiting for Twilight to finish what she was looking for. ‘What the…she did it again a weird act that defies all natural order like how she knew what I was thinking and now knowing what book Twilight was going to need like seeing into the future’ I thought now starting at her closely.

She seemed to notice I was looking at her and said “No silly I can’t read ponies mind and I can’t see the future and it wouldn’t be fun if I could see the future because then I would know how my parties end and they would never be a surprise.”

“See right there” I pointed at her now everpony looking at me except Twilight. “You claim you can’t read my thoughts, yet you know what I was thinking so explain that” I said fear crawling thru me knowing that my thoughts could be heard.

“But I’m not lying” she said and seem to deflate a little tears starting to form.

Feeling guilty I said “I’m sorry Pinkie I shouldn’t have accused you of lying, but it just seems so… bazaar that you can do things like that, but that’s no excuse can you forgive me.”

This made her hair perk back up and said “Of course I forgive you.” with a big toothy grin on her face. “Oh also I can’t read minds but I can read text” she said looking off in a direction still smiling and now waving at no pony.

This left me dumbfounded “But…you just…and I…just” I said.

“Best if ya just let it go sugarcube” Applejack said.

“Pinkie is just being Pinkie” said Spike giving me an understanding look.

Rainbow was laughing slightly and said “Pinkie you’re so random.”

“Uh ok you know what I give up, but can you promise me to stay out of my head or text or whatever it is you do for the rest of the night?” I asked

“I’ll do even better” she said and started to do a strange ritual like thing while saying “Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye” which end with her poking her eye, how it didn’t hurt I’ll never know.

“Uh… what did I just watch” I asked skeptically.

“Silly willy it was a Pinkie Pie promise” she said as if it was something everyone knew. “It’s a promise that you can never brake and must keep FOREVERRRR.” She said dramatically on her back hooves. I simply just gave up logic while being around her and decided to shrugged it off.

“Ah here it is” Twilight said and began reading the passage out lout “Not much is known exactly about where spirit come from to begin with, but have been around since the beginning of time. Spirits seem to falls under the elements of magic which are Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lighting, Darkness and Light. Spirits are known to be peaceful creatures that rarely show any aggression against others unless it is for defending other lives and have been told that they are bound to a code of some sorts that forbids them to hurt any intelligent creature like ponies, griffons and etc. They are known to come in many different shape, sizes and even form some examples would be fairies, small critters like squirrels or birds and some are even know to take the form of ponies, griffons and etc.  Although they are strong in magic they cannot live in our realm forever and eventually die out once their magic is depleted or killed. Some researcher believe that spirits reborn each time they die naturally, but cannot be certain since most if not all spirits have been hunted down and killed for varies reasons such as believed to increase one’s lifetime or grant smoother and better fur coats which has not been proven. Spirits were believed to exist for the purpose of keeping order to the lands that we live on, but again no proof has been determined and spirit don’t tend to trust anyone especially pony kind at all yet are still known to do their duties till the day they die.”

Everypony in the room looked like they were on the verge of tears. Twilight was the first to say something “I…can’t believe that anypony would do such a thing” she had her head hung down.

“Whoa” Spike said now trying to comfort Twilight.

“Why in tarnation would anypony do that, it ain’t right” Applejack said her hat was now covering her face.

“That just messed up” said Rainbowdash who was trying to look like it didn’t bother her, but was still tearing up.

“Those poor creatures” said Fluttershy who was crying.

Rarity was now comforting her and said “Yes that is certainly ‘messed up’.” Pinkie didn’t say anything, but her hair was deflated again and looked sad.

“You girls shouldn’t have to feel bad about what other did” I said trying to cheer them up.

“But…” Twilight was about to say something but I beat her to it.

“But nothing it was a different time era and I don’t hate or blame anyone for what their ancestor did a long time ago. Besides there’s more to it than that” I said this got them to cheer up a bit and were now listening to me again, but still had tears in their eyes.

“For starts there were two kinds of spirits, which researchers gave us names for, one kind were named 'lesser' spirits and for the most part everything that was written is correct. The other kind of spirits were known as 'higher' spirits which no pony ever really new because we tended to keep a low profile since we had a more…important job then what other spirits did.” I said they were now not tearing up, but listening attentively. “We were still the same as spirits we each fell under an element, but different like how our magic and body heal/regenerate like normal creatures would unless we’re near our element in which case the process goes faster and how we don’t die once our magic is depleted and…” I said before I caught myself and stop from saying the rest, but Applejack seemed to notice.

“There’s more to it than that isn’t there” said Applejack with a grim expression.

“… do you… really want to hear the rest” I said trying not to make eye contact with them. They all just nodded waiting for me to collect my thoughts. “Higher spirits are not bound by the same code as lesser spirits and can kill” I said staring at the ceiling.

“YOU CAN WHAT” Rainbowdash said getting ready to charge at me to defend her friends.

“Hold on their sugarcube there’s more to it than” said Applejack holding Rainbowdash back.

“Yes there is more to it than that” I said this seemed to calm her down and I continued “I only kill others when I don’t have a choice and even then I still don’t enjoy it. It’s just a necessary evil is all” I said sadly looking at them now.

After a couple of minutes of silence they got into a little group and discussed what was just said. “I think we all understand and thank you for telling us that even though it was hard for you to talk about” Twilight said and the rest gave me a reassuring nod.

“So back to the original question before we skipped a couple of questions, but what should we call you?” Twilight said.

“If you must have the need to call me something you can referrer to me as Azul” I said not really caring.

“As in the color of your scales” Spike said.

“Precisely” I said.

“How many other ‘higher’ spirits are there besides you?” Twilight asked.

“There’s only six other excluding me each representing an element” I answered.

“And what happen to them?” she asked.

“We choose to split up and meet back up here in Equestria. Some went to the Griffon kingdom, some went to the lands of the zebras and the rest went to the lands of the donkeys only I came here first. Anything else” I said hoping she would be done.

“Ok let’s see hear” she said while checking off a list of question on a scroll that went to the kitchen ‘We’re definitely going to be here for awhile’ she went back to the top of the list, decided on a question now and asked “So that means you originate from Methana correct?”

“Yes” I answered.

“I’ve heard rumors of Methana from clients and they were hardly anything good” Rarity said her voice darkened a little bit.

“Yeah and those rumors you heard are all probably true” I nodded in agreement.

“What kind of rumors if you don’t mind me asking?” Fluttershy asked now shaking a bit.

“Nothing good Fluttershy and I would rather not talk about it right now” I said firmly this seemed to get my point out and they stopped asking about it.

“So how does spirit magic work exactly?” Twilight asked.

“Yeah do you have to shout at your element to make it work” Rainbowdash jokingly said getting a couple of giggles from the girls.

“No I only did that for dramatic effect, but if you don’t believe me here’s your proof” I replied. I snapped my claws and in a few seconds a ball of water the size of a basketball formed over her head. The girls and Spike were fascinated by my act that they didn’t realize the water strating to fall towards Rainbowdash and before she could move out of the way, it was too late leaving her completely soaked. After a couple minutes of everyone laughing I took the water off of her and the ground making it completely dry and put the water in the barrel with me. “And to finish off your question I assume spirit magic and pony magic are similar if not the same thing. The only key difference is the fact that I’m limited to only water magic while you as a unicorn can do all types of magic.” I said now getting over my laughing fit.

Twilight and her friends were also getting over their laughter as well and asked “So then why did you come to Equestria?”

“What can’t an eight thousand or so year old spirit go on vacation see the world and what not” I said sarcastically.

“Is that also how you got those injuries?” she asked skeptically raising one of her eye brows.

“Ok so maybe I wasn’t on vacation” I said with a shrug, but she still was staring me down. I just sighed and continued “I was being chased by Methana soldiers is all” I said.

“Why?” she asked

“Because I’m a water spirit” I said with a shrug.

“You’re obviously holding back something” said Rainbowdash.

“And obviously nothing gets past you” I replied back with sarcasm.

“Why I outta…” she said before she was stopped again by Applejack.

“There a reason why ya can tell?” asked Applejack.

“More or less” I answered.

“I don’t mean to pry Azul, but would you care to explain?” asked Rarity.

“For starters it’s my job not to let ponies or other to know what I know and second and more importantly is to make sure you girls won’t get into harm’s way” I said darkly.

“What would happen if you told us?” asked Twilight more curoious then concerend unlike her friends.

“Well let’s just say that Methana has spies all over the world and those who get too close to spirits are never heard from again” I said with concern in my voice this seemed to upset them a bit while also some of them showing concern ‘They probably think I can’t trust them maybe I can let them know a bit’ I thought for a while and decided to just tell them where I was going at least.

“I can’t go into detail, but I can tell you little bit about my plans” I said they seemed to brighten up and I continued “I’m going to go see the ruler of Equestria Princess…uh bugger what was it again. Celestria…no Celestrial…maybe damn what was it again” I said scratching my chin.

“Oh oh I love guessing games how about Kelestria no Melestria no wait how about Trollestria” said Pinkie Pie jumping up and down.

“Somehow that last one sounds about right or at least close” I said with a laugh.

“I believe you mean Princess Celestia” Twilight said glaring daggers at me.

“Ah yes that was it thank you Twilight that would have been awkward to see her and not even remember her name or getting it wrong” I said while rubbing the back of my head. ‘Wow somepony is mad.’

“Why do you need to see the Princess?” Rainbowdash asked eyeing me suspiciously.

“To just ask for something she borrowed from me a thousand years ago” I replied.

“Well what is it?” she asked me bluntly while making constant eye contact with me.

“Rainbowdash that’s completely rude” Rarity said slightly glaring at her friend.

“What he could be lying for all we know and besides you’re just as curious” she replied back still not breaking eye contact with me.

“He hasn’t lied to us once Dash, besides ah reckon it ain’t really none of our business” Applejack said.

“I admit I’m rather curious as well darling, but like Applejack said it’s none of our business” Rarity said. Rainbowdash seemed to lighten up a bit, but showed me a jester suggesting she was keeping an eye on me.

“Um…excuse me if you don’t mind I could take you to Canterlot if you want I mean if you’re ok with that” Fluttershy said quietly while twiddling with her hooves.

“That’s very nice of you to offer Fluttershy, but who knows how long you’ll be gone and how long it’ll take to get there. No I’ll be fine once I know which way to go” I said.

“What are you talking about silly it’s only like a three hour fly from here or you could take the train, but it’s much slower, but there lots of ponies on the train so you could throw a party or Spike could send a letter and invite Princess Celestia to the train party OH even better we could make it a flying train party and invite the Princess to it” Pinkie Pie said with a big toothy grin without having to stop and take a breath, how she did this I'll never know.

“Wait just wait” I said rubbing my eyes to help me think. “So let me get this straight I’m only a couple hours flight away from Canterlot as in the capital of Equestria like as in the middle of the country” I asked with disbelief they gave me a couple nods and I continued “and you continued to say that I can send a letter directly to the Princess herself because we have Spike.”

“Well duh I mean Twilight is Princess Celestia’s number one student” Pinkie Pie said leaving an embarrassed Twilight rubbing the back of her head with her hoof.

”Wow those soldiers are really committed to capturing me to fly all the way to the heart of Equestria” I said still trying to process how far I actually went. “And I’m apparently in the presence of Celestia’s number one student” I said still a bit unsure if they were joking with me or not.

“If you want I could send a letter to the Princess letting her know you’re here” Twilight said trying to get me at of my daze.

“Yeah sure you do that” I said not truly believing her.

This seemed to make her upset, but decide to wrtie about what has happened so far and was about to send the letter off, but asked “Anything you want to mention?”

“Yeah ask her how ‘The maiden fairs tonight’ ” I said ‘I really doubt that she knows her, but on the off chance she’s telling the truth I might as well, if anything I’ll get a good laugh out of this’.

As she wrote that down she rolled it up and sent it over to Spike who blew a green flame on it and it vanished. In a mere matter of seconds Spike burps up a letter and Twilight starts to read it out loud.

Dear Water Spirit or Azul

The maiden cries under the moon for the loss of her dear ones, yet still pushes on for hope that she may see them again ‘Mother of God she was telling the truth’ I thought now listening closely. I am afraid due to certain ‘guest’ I cannot meet you for some time. I suggest you stay with my student Twilight Sparkle and her friends for the time being and I will let you know when it is safe for us to continue our discussion with greater length face to face.

“Wow I must apologize Twilight I really didn’t believe you were her student let alone you can communicate with her thru Spike” I said.

“It’s alright it does seem a bit far fetch if you haven’t been around here before” she said with an understanding smile. As the room fell quiet I noticed some of the girls and Spike had bags under their eyes. ‘It starting to get pretty late…we should wrap this up and get some shut eye’ I said while stretching a bit.

“Hey Twilight I think we should wrap this up it’s starting to get late and everyone looks beat” I said gesturing with my hands to the group.

“Yeah your right will continue talking another night” she said a bit disappointed. The girls said their goodbyes and left leaving me, Twilight and Spike alone.

“Well I’m going to bed” said Spike making his way upstairs “You coming Twi?” he asked.

“In a bit I want to organize these notes real quick” she said moving her pile of notes to a corner and neatly organizing them.

“Well I guess I’ll get some sleep as well, Good night you two” I said watching them now both head up the stairs.

“Good night” they both said as Twilight turned off the lights in the library leaving me in the dark. I swam down to the bottom and closed my eyes embracing sleep in mere seconds.

Chapter 5: The new kid in Town

Hey everypony me again just a notice i went back to the previous chapters and made some minor corrections that i missed. Also the tags for the stories changed a bit because im not sure yet were this story going to play out yet so expect changes for that. So anywho same old same old leave a comment and let me know what you think

‘mmmm I smell eggs’ I thought as I slowly started to open my eyes and stretch out a bit. ‘Well looks like I’m all better for the most part, but I still feel a bit sore though’ I thought as I swam to the top of the barrel. It looked too late to be morning so I think it was mid afternoon give our take. In the kitchen I could see Spike cooking some eggs and a sleepy Twilight barely able to hold her head up. I chuckled a bit at how cute she looked and was about to slither over there when a thought occurred ‘Wait why slither over there when I could fly.’ Stretching out my wings I gave them a couple of flaps and was satisfied when pain didn’t shoot thru my body. As I idly flew towards the kitchen Twilight seemed to take notice of me and started to watch me with great interest. ‘Might as well put on a show’ I thought and started to do some simple tricks like a loop de loop, sharp turns under the chairs, a downward spiral and a figure eight. Once I was done I landed on the kitchen table and bowed getting me a round of applause from the both of them.

“That was very well done Azul” Twilight said with a small smile.

“It was nothing really just some simple stuff” I replied matching her smile and continued “Now your friend Rainbowdash sounds like a real stunt pony worth watching”.

“I can’t wait till my wings grow in, then I’ll be able to fly all over the place” Spike said enthusiastically but quickly turned back around to continue making our omelets.

“Don’t worry kid they’ll come in eventually” I said with an understanding nod. “Also isn’t a bit too late for breakfast it’s about noon or so right?” I asked.

“Yeah but somepony wanted some omelets for lunch” he said while pointing his thumb towards Twilight, causing her to smile sheepishly.

“I fine with it don’t get me wrong” I said with a dismissive wave. “Also it’s not where you go, but who you’re going to take with you am I right lover boy?” I said holding back a grin.

Spike started to freak out and almost ruin our breakfast…lunch…whatever are meal, but after a couple of seconds he had regained control. “W-w-w-what are you talking about” he said a bit flustered.

“Oh don’t hide it kid I could tell you like Rarity a lot and I don’t mean to pry but I know a guy who could teach you some tricks to win her heart” I said.

“REALLY” he said with excitement while setting down breakfast in front of us.

“Yeah my friend is a lady-killer a true Casanova and can get any girl he wants to love him” I said in between bite of my meal.

“I don’t think I want somepony like him influencing Spike” Twilight said giving me a no way this is happening look.

“Oh come on Twi please” Spike said with puppy dog eyes and quivering his upper lip.

“If it helps you can tell my friend what he can and cannot teach him” I said taking a break from eating and drinking some water.

“Sorry Spike, but my decision is final” she said with an apologetic look and started to eat her meal.

Spike was quite upset with the decision and was pouting so I leaned over to him and whispered “Don’t worry he can persuaded Twilight to at least teach you something.”

“I don’t know Twilight can be pretty stubborn” he whispered back.

“Don’t worry I know for a fact that he’ll be able to convince her just trust me on this” I said with a light pat on the back.

“What are you two talking about?” she said looking at us suspiciously.

“Nothing~” we both replied.

Before she could protest a pink blur popped into the kitchen and dragged Twilight out while screaming “Pinkieeeee~” and then could no longer be heard.

“Pinkie?” I said with disbelief.

“Yup” he replied back.

I would have pressed him for answers, but remembering yesterdays encounter I simply decided to chalk it up as a Pinkie Pie thing. So we continued eating and made some small talk, asking him what it’s like knowing the Princess, what’s Canterlot/Ponyville like, things like that. After finishing and cleaning up breakfast/lunch, Spike went to work on his chores while I sat on the couch and watched him go about. This mostly consisted of sweeping, dusting, reorganizing and putting books back in their right places.

As he was shelving the last group of books away I asked “So why do you think Pinkie Pie took Twilight earlier?”

“She probably needed her help organizing the par…” he said before placed his hands in front of his mouth causing him not only to stop what he was about to say, but making him lose his balance and fall off the ladder.

“You ok?” I asked as I sat next to him.

“Yeah I’m good” he said while rubbing his head with one hand.

“Good now what were you going to say?” I asked staring at him.

“N-n-nothing at all” he said with a nervous laugh and started to head towards the door saying “Look at the time, but I got to go help Rarity with something.”

I stepped in front him and stared him down asking “Spike, what is Pinkie Pie going to do?”

“I-I-I don’t know honest” he said with a bad poker face.

“Spike I know you know what she’s going to do so just tell me” I asked keeping my voice neutral.

“I’m sorry Azul I really am, but I don’t know if I should tell you” he said nervously.

“Is that so” I said keeping a neutral appearance going.

“Well if you can just stay here and not leave I’ll be right back with Twi and…” he said before he was interrupted by my creepy smile. “Uh…you ok?” he asked as he slowly back away.

“Yeah every things good Spike but…” I said keeping my smile and summoned a water like snake behind me and continued “All I need you to do is tell me what’s going on.” As I slowly started to slither towards him he started to look around the room nervously and tried to make a break for it towards the kitchen. The snake however beat him to the kitchen door and wrapped around him and brought him back in front of me holding him in midair. At the snap of my fingers the creature instantly froze in place holding Spike in midair and I said “Spike…”

“What is it!? What do you want me to say?” he asked his eyes constantly moving around the room.

“Tell me everything you know” I said flatly keeping that same smile.

“ALRIGHT!  ALRIGHT! I’ll tell you everything just let me go and stop smiling like that” he pleaded with me.

“Fair enough” I said losing the smile. “But you have tell me what’s going on before I set you down and let you go” I replied, but little did I know I was going to regret this as Spike told me every misdeed he has ever done.

Hours later:

“…and there was this one time I took Applejack’s toothbrush and used it to clean the toi...” he was about to say before I interrupted him.

“For the love of God Spike please no more” I said. At first I thought it was funny and thought I could always black mail him later, but the past hours have been nonstop of all the little things he did/seen and most of them I didn’t even want to know. ‘Good god most of the things he listed off were about how mares were ‘showing off wrestling moves’ or ‘playing an elaborate game’. This poor kid is going to have so many awkward situations once he finds out all about that adult stuff’ I thought while rubbing my eyes with my fingers.

“What’s the matter I thought you wanted me to tell you everything I knew?” he asked a bit confused.

“Well yes and no. I wanted to know what Pinkie Pie was doing remember” I said.

“Oh that” he said with a sheepish smile. “Well she’s going to probably throw you a thank you/welcome party and trust me her parties are always a blast” he said with anticipation.

“A party really” I said while a faced palmed. ‘How could I forget? I mean honestly that’s her freakin special talent.’

“Yeah…why you don’t like parties?” he asked still confused.

“No I didn’t say that, but still this is not good” I said releasing him from his prison and now looking off in the distance.

“Why what’s wrong” he asked while stretching his limbs.

“Don’t you remember last night’s discussion? There could be Methana spies here in Equestria and if they know I’m here they’ll come here to get me” I said with concern.

“Why do you have to run? I mean everypony here will protect you from them and I could always send a letter to Celestia herself. They wouldn’t dare pick a fight with her” he said trying to comfort me.

“It’s not that simple Spike, but I do appreciate your concerns. The problem is that I don’t want ponies getting hurt trying to protect me and trust me these people are coldhearted when it comes to us Spirits” I said holding back my disgust at my last statement.

It was silent in the library for a bit Spike was trying to come up with something to say, but he would always shy away from saying anything. ‘What do I do? Do I risk the chance and go to the party or do I leave? The girls will be really upset with me, but I could always tell Spike to pass on a message or just write one up…Hold on a sec write one up…make one up…Yeah that could work, but I would still be putting the town in harm’s way however it’ll hopefully be temporary and then I’ll be gone before any soldiers come for me’ Going back and forth between my thoughts I decide that my plan was the best course of action I could take and said “Spike I need you to do something for me, but you can’t tell anypony about it. Got it?”

Spike jumped a bit at the sudden noise and asked “What do I have to do?”

“I need you go see how far along the party is from being set up and make sure you’re the one to come and bring me to the party alone” I said.

“A-alright I’ll be back in a bit” he said as he left.

Alone in the library now, I made my way towards Twilight’s desk and started to look for some supplies. A minute or two later I found everything I needed which were a bunch of scratch papers, envelops, quills and some ink. ‘Now then let’s see how my handwriting is.’

Hours later…again:

It was dark before I finished writing having to take a break and get some candles. Half an hour later I was finally finished writing two letters and I was just sealing them up.

That’s when Spike walked in and said flatly “The party ready though you owe me big time for this.”

“What do you mean I ‘owe’ you” I said with air quotations around the owe part.

“Hey man I had to do something I wish I’ll never have to do again, honestly I’m going to have nightmares for a week because of it” he replied back firmly.

“Yeah or I could always tell Twi about the ‘Bathroom’ incident” I said smugly.

His eyes shrunk to the size of a pea and said “You wouldn’t.”

“Oh want to bet?” I asked with a smug smile now.

“No, no, please I’ll do anything just don’t tell her” he pleaded on his knees holding his hand together.

“Don’t worry I won’t tell her” I said this got a relieved sigh out of him. “I’ll save that up, till I really need it” I said now laughing my ass off. Spike just looked at me grumpily and mumbled some stuff under his breath. Getting over my laugh I asked “So where’s the party at and what does the building look like?”

“It’s at the Sugarcube Corner. And why are you asking what it looks like I’m going to take you there” he said confused.

“Nope you’re going on ahead while I get myself…prepared” I said with a sly grin. Spike decided to drop it, especially after I threatened to tell Carrot Top about a missing hoe, and gave me directions on how to get there, what it looks like and then he left for the party.

“Now then (cracking my hands) it’s been a while, but I should still be able to do this” I said as I got next to the barrel of water.

Concentrating my magic the water started to glow a bright light blue and enveloped around my body and thenmy body began to change shape. Bones started to take shape while they snapped into place. A fur coat started to grow all over followed by a mane and tail. My face distorting back to my head and my teeth became more flat. The process took a gruesome five minutes and afterwards I had to lie down on my back just to catch my breath. Using my magic again I create a mirror above to get a better look at myself and was quite please with the results. I was a pegasus colt about seven or eight with a cyan blue coat with a short spike snow white mane and my eyes were a deep blue azul.

‘Not bad wish I was a stallion than a colt, but still pretty good job considering how long it’s been since I did this, but I feel like I’m forgetting something’ after much thought I simply wing shrugged. As I tried to make my way towards the desk my hooves got caught amongst one another and it sent me face first to the ground.

“Dump hooves” I said my voice now sounding like a child. ‘Well at least my voice isn’t squeaky that’s another plus.’ Couple of minutes later and I was able to walk around like a normal pony, grabbing a saddle bag and stuffing the letters in them I made my way towards the directions of where Sugarcube Corner should be. The town looked completely deserted, all the lights were off and the only company I had were the wind, moon and stars. ‘Wow Pinkie Pie must throw pretty damn good parties if there’s no pony around at all and wow is this the place…I feel like if I keep staring at it I’m going to get fat’ I thought as I reached the front door.

I could hear murmurs and whisper before everything became suddenly quieted. ‘Well here goes nothing’ I walked into the room only to be greeted by darkness, I couldn’t make out a thing.

Then the room filled with light and a crowd of ponies appeared and screamed “SURPRISE!”

In the distance I could see a banner above the room that said, ‘Welcome/Thank you to Ponyville Azul.’ All the ponies in the room stopped cheering and had confused looks on their faces.

“Who’s that?” one pony asked.

“I’ve never seen him before.” Another pony said.

I was about to say something before I was tackled by a pink blur. “OHMYGOSH, ANOTHERNEWPONY! HIMYNAMEISPINKIEPIE! WHOAREYOU? OHWAITILLBERIGHTBACK” Pinkie Pie said before she sped off to a backroom.

When I got back up I notice she was coming for me again, I started to try and run for it, but was instead pulled away in a light blue aura away from the pink pony. “Pinkie Pie darling, you have to calm down you’re scaring the poor boy” Rarity said as she sat me down next to her. “Please excuse my friend’s behavior she tends to get…excited when a new pony comes to town” she said apologetically.

“No it’s alright he did warn me to watch out for her” I said.

“Who warned you about what?” Twilight asked.

“Azul did, he warned me to watch out for a pink pony with balloons for a cutie mark something about a ‘hyperactive’ child or something” I said trying to play innocent.

“Oh did you meet him on your way here? Is he going to be here soon?” she asked looking outside.

“I’m afraid not he told me to give a Miss Twilight Sparkle this letter” I said as I reached in my saddle bag for the letter and held it up in front of me.

“That’s me” she said and used her magic to grab the letter. She opened the letter and began to read it out loud.

Dear Ponyville residents,

I am sorry to say that something came up and it needed my immediate attention. I noticed this child walking into town and asked him to deliver this letter since he’s new in town and is going to probably be staying for a while. I suggest Pinkie Pie should change the party to a welcome party for the kid. I’ll return as soon as possible, but I’m not sure how long it will take. Until then stay safe and hope to see everypony soon.

Everypony seem to be sad that ‘Azul’ couldn’t make it to the party, but Pinkie was the one to get everypony out of it. “Why’s everypony so sad? He said he’ll be back someday we’ll just have to throw him a Welcome/thank you/welcome back again party. Besides everypony we have a new pony in town” she said while hopping up in down. “Oh oh what’s your name little guy?”

“My name is Raindrop” I said with a smile.

“Don’t move” she said while she ran off to the back room again.

“Um excuse me if you don’t mind me asking, but where are your parents?” Fluttershy asked this got a couple of murmurs of agreement.

“My parents aren’t here with me, they sent me off by myself to go live with my cousin or aunt and uncle” I answered.

“Excuse me dear not to be rude, but aren’t you a little young to be traveling on your own?” Rarity asked with concern.

“Here in Equestria yeah, but in Methana no” I replied back nonchalantly.

“Wait you traveled all the way from Methana to Ponyville by yourself?” somepony asked.

“Well I did take a train from the border of Methana to a small town a bit north of Ponyville, but for the most part I was alone” I said.

“So that means ya’ll got some kin nearby or are ya’ll still heading there?” Applejack asked.

“Actually she lives here in Ponyville” I said getting more murmurs from the crowd. “Her name is Rainbowdash” I said. The crowd gasped and looked at Rainbowdash and back at me some saying they could see the resemblance.

“HOLD ON A SECOND” Rainbowdash yelled and flew right in front of me inches from my face. “I don’t have family in Methana, you little liar” she said.

“Here” I said holding the letter in front of her; she quickly snatched it and read it out loud.

Dear Rainbowdash,

You probably don’t remember me since you were just a little filly when I left, but I’m your mother’s sister. Anyways there have been more problems here in Methana that it has become too dangerous to keep Raindrop with us. We have heard from your mother and father that you were the closest family member and we were hoping you could keep an eye on him until your parents would pick him up or let him stay with you. We’re sorry that we must ask this of you, but it will only be temporary and we have plans to move to Equestria once we have enough bits.

“Does that name ring a bell sugarcube?” Applejack asked looking at Dash with concern.

“Well I can’t say I don’t remember her name, but it doesn’t sound familiar either” she said while scratching her chin with a hoof trying to remember.

“If you want cous…I mean Miss Dash, you could always point me where aunt and uncle live and I’ll just walk there” I said acting rejected and started walking towards the door.

Before I could reach the door my body was surrounded by a purple glow and Twilight sat me down in front of the crowd of ponies. “Don’t worry Raindrop and I’m sure Rainbowdash won’t mind taking care of you for a bit. Right Dash?” Twilight said and started at her friend.

“Uh yeah of course no problem at all, just how long will you be staying?” she asked but got a bunch of glares from

everypony.

“No no it’s a reasonable question” I said waving my hoof dismissively and continued “I imagine it will be like three or four days maybe a week for your parents to come and get me.” She didn’t seem thrilled, but wasn’t moping either so she took it pretty well I imagine.

“Well since that’s taken care of shall we pa…” before I could say anything Pinkie Pie popped out of no were and screamed “Let’s get this party started everypony.”
