I left the party soon after Pinkie waved good-bye to the last guest. She had a wide grin plastered all over her face. She suddenly looked at me.

"Why so serious?" the party mare asked. I looked away quickly.

"Nothing . . . Pinkie." I said in a low voice. It seemed as if Rarity was paying close attention to me for some reason this evening.

"Oh, come on! Cheer up! Why don't you come over to my place?" Pinkie said eagerly. I was ready to accept but Rarity and the other mares were right behind us.

"Pinkie! Inviting her over already! I should hope your not planning anything too . . . FUN." Rarity tsk tsked. I stared at her blankly for a moment. What the hell does she mean? Twilight and Fluttershy had the same looks on their faces. Applejack looked shocked for some reason.

"Why, Rarity! How could ya imply somethin' like that after Pinkie's only met 'er just today!" she growled angrily.

"Imply? Imply what? She only said . . . " I paused when I realized what she was implying. "Oh my god." I glanced at Pinkie like she was an alien. She was trying to . . . what!?

"You were trying to invite me to . . . to . . . your bed!?" I stared at her like she was crazy. Did I give any signs that I wanted a hook up? Pinkie caught on but only giggled. I blushed hard.

"I was just trying to cheer you up silly- willy! I wasn't asking you out or anything. We wouldn't have done anything . . . just have a little fun is all!"

I face palmed or . . . face hoofed, since I was a pony now . . .

"Your crazy! I would . . . WE would . . . nyyyaaaaaah!!!" I galloped away from that mad mare and tried my best to find Vinyl's house. Where was it? Ponyville was a small town but it sure seemed big at night when you were lost. I slowed to a trot and glanced around. I was never one for details but I noticed how peaceful and town- like this town really looked. Each house was unique in its own way, as if the pony living there had literally customized it so even if the house was exactly the same as its neighbor, it had SOMETHING to make it stick out to that pony. There were almost no ponies outside and it was quiet except for the sound of crickets and the soft breeze. I breathed in to cam myself and caught the scent of cakes and pies and other things that seemed desert- like. I focused my cat eyes at the row of medium trees lined up on one side of the street. I looked up at the moon and marveled its beauty. How it shined almost as bright as the sun along with its fellow stars to keep it company. I flew up to a lamp post and perched on the one extending limb. I felt so moved by the moon. It stirred the animal inside me. I needed to let out the energy building inside of me. I began to sing a song

I did not know how I knew this song or why I sang it. All, I knew was that the moon had awakened SOMETHING inside me that wanted to make itself known and it chose this song to do it. I kept my eyes closed through the whole song and only opened them when I finished. I looked down and saw six mares looking up at me with eyes full of fright and awe.

"Oh, its you. I uh, just felt like singing while watching the moon." I said. The mares seemed frozen in place but snapped out of their trance when I yelled, "Hey, assholes! I'm talking here!"

"Huh?" Twilight said. "Oh! Your song was beautiful, Ruby! I didn't know you could sing." I flew down in front of the six mares.

"Neither did I. What are you-" I started to curse them out but Rarity cut me off with her dramatic bull shit.

"OH, Ruby, darling! That was amazing! Your song truly spoke to me! That voice it fit enough for the princesses themselves!"

"Ah don't know 'bout that, but yer singin' was like heaven, sugarcube!" Applejack added. I stiffled a growl.

"Thanks but why did you follow me? I'm heading home!" Then I got a horrible idea. "Your not stalking me are you?"

"What!?" all six mares exclaimed. Rainbow Dash folded her fore legs. She hovered in my face.

"Just what kind of ponies do you think we are!? We're the Elements of Harmony! That would be the LAST thing any of us would do!" she snarled. I glared at her.

"So why ARE you following me? I don't know you and you come following me at night in an empty street . . ." Pinkie pushed Fluttershy forward. The shy pony merely squeaked in fear and cowered before me.

"C'mon, Flutters! You can't hide from EVERYPONY that comes to town that you don't know!" the party mare shouted. Fluttershy cowered more at her loudness.

She finally took her eyes off me and glanced at Pinkie Pie. The pink mare nodded her approval. Fluttershy looked at me again and shivered before she spoke.

"Um . . . " she hesitated. "Vinyl Scratch told me that you don't have a home so we volunteered to help you out since Braeburn went to visit his marefriend and today is her and Octavia's 'special night' and I don't think you wanna be there while . . . 'things' are happening." Fluttershy blushed and a few others followed. My anger subsided.

"And I bet your a candidate. Gee, Fluttershy, I would love to be at your house. Pinkie told me earlier that your an animal care taker. I'm cool with animals." I gave Fluttershy a much deserved hug. She blushed and gave a small squeak.

FLUTTERSHY'S POV

I didn't really say that I wanted Ruby to stay with me. She sort of picked me . . . I thought she was a big, mean, scary weird pony. I guess I was wrong. I could use some help with my animals, anyway. I do need the company too. Maybe i'll get closer to Ruby and I could teach her the magic of kindness. She seems to have a temper. I guess I could help her with it. . .

"That's great, Ruby. You could also travel around with me . . . if you don't mind that is . . ." I wispered.

"Yea, sure! That sounds great!" Ruby said with much enthusiasm. I smiled shyly. Ruby released me from her hug. She looked at me with those dragonic, blue eyes. They reminded me of Opalesance, Rariy's cat, since cats have eyes like dragons too. We all quickly went our different ways as it got a bit chilly. Pinkie Pie and Rarity gave me a wink and Rainbow Dash gave me an evil grin. Oh no . . . They wont make jokes about the fact that we're living under the same roof will they? Well, they know I don't like her in that way . . . Maybe they wont?

RUBY'S POV

We entered Fluttershy's house and I yawned. I was tired from this exhausting night. Fluttershy probably was too since she didn't bother to turn on the lights and just let me lay down on a couch while she went to sleep elsewhere. I yawned again. This place is pretty good. The ponies are not all idiots. I shouldn't get to close to 'em since I should find a way home to help out. A Alitis Cat Daemon never leaves its clan behind. Maybe tomorrow i'll ask the library unicorn and her dragon about this world and how to get to mine. Whats their names again? Oh yea, Twilight and Spike. I fell asleep quicky and dreamed about my home and the war. I started to dream about the death of my mother . . .

LUNA'S POV

I was scanning the dreams of all the ponies in Equestria. I finished with Trottingham, Canterlot, and Apaloosa and started searching for dreams in another town or city when I remembered that Twilight wanted me to visit her soon. Well, I could visit her dreams and we could, how they say, chat. I searched for her dreams until I felt a disturbance. Someone was having a nightmare, and a bad one by the looks of it. I searched for the poor soul and entered it. The first thing I saw was a mirror. My blue fur had a shine to it and my moon cutie mark looked absolutely dashing. My dark blue mane flowed in an invisible wind and sparkled like stars and my tail followed suit. I was presentable to my subject. This one seemed unfamiliar, though. I spread my wings and flew into the realm of the dreams while my horn lit up as I used magic to allow myself entry. I gasped at the sight I saw. A black pegasis mare with red mane and tail hair and a cat- like tail and ears was sitting there watching a horrible display of brutality. The pegasis spoke softly with a strained voice.

"Poor mother . . . if only I was strong enough to help . . ." she moaned. I watched as a two legged creature with cat ears, tail and eyes fought a beast with blood dripping down its jaw. There were five little ones sitting on the wood floor. There was blood splattered all over the sky blue colored walls and the many colored furniture. I saw an adult winged human talk in a frightened voice to the children. Four of the children only stared at one child who was the youngest and laying on the floor covered in blood and mangled. The eldest was a boy who looked like a teen. He was biting his lip and sobbing. The second was girl who was also a teen but younger. She was screaming for her mother. The third was another girl. She looked about nine and held a male toddler who clung to her and wailed loudly. There were sounds of crying, panting, and a series of roars and growls. The beast was obviously winning the fight with the other winged human. They looked so much like humans but so much different. I gasped when the beast ripped off the winged humans wings and devoured them only to rip off its head and rip and tear at its body. The children screamed and flew out the window with the other winged human. They glanced back at the mangled bodies that the beast was tearing at currently with pained expressions and then, were out of sight. I screamed and exited quickly and hurried to my sister, Celestia, room.
