Upon returning from an escort mission from the Baad Lands of Equestria, a small team of Royal Canterlot Guards are ambushed and seperated from Princess Celestia, becoming hopelessly lost within the foreboding Everfree Forest. Regardless of the circumstances, the mission remains intact:
Return the Dragon egg safely to Canterlot and dispose of the renegade Dragons in pursuit. One stallion's character will be subject to the ferocities of betrayal and the trial of companionship while the team searches for an exit. The Great Captain of the Guard, Earth steed Val Orre is their guide, but what happens when the stich holding the very fabric of this team ultimately breaks? Blood will be spilt this night...
