Darkness.

Thats all I can remember. It was cold. And it was dark. And I was scared.

But then, I saw the moon. It was so big and so bright. The first thing I remembered was rising from a frozen lake and the moon smiling at me. Then, I was lowered to the ground softly. I've never felt this kind of feeling before. It felt like I was just born. I looked at my hands and they were pale. Then, I saw my reflection. My hair was white and my eyes were blue. Why was I here or what I was meant to do?

That is the part I will never know.

I wondered around the frozen lake until I noticed a wooden staff. I picked it up and it immediately turned something I touched into frost. I was fascinated by it. So, I decided to test it by touching the tree with the staff. And frost was everywhere. I did the same thing to another tree and it did the same thing. That was the first time I felt happiness. I dragged the staff all around the lake and frost was everywhere.

And then all of the sudden, I was in the air. Like, in the air. But, I didn't stay in the sky for long as I fell into the tree. I was laughing for the fun I had.

While I was in the tree, I saw a nearby village. So, I decided to go there because I wanted to meet someone. I flew down there and saw some people. I said hello to them, but no one responded. I keep greeting everyone I see in town, nothing. But then I saw a little boy running towards me and I asked him whats going on. What happened was that he went through me. He didn't see me. I was in complete shock. Then, more people keep going through me and no one even saw me.

I ran away from the village and never came back. I just kept flying until I found a place to express my emotional feelings.

My name is Jack Frost. How do I know that? Because the moon told me so. And that's all he ever told me.

For 300 years, Jack has been roaming through the earth hoping for someone to actually see him. Whether it's a child or an adult.

Every day, he writes in his diary about what he goes through and expressed his feelings with it. The only person he could talk to was the Man in the Moon.

"I've tried everything and no one ever sees me!" Jack exclaimed to the moon. No response. "You put me here! The least you could do is tell me! Tell me why!" he said as he begins to cry. The moon didn't say anything to him. But, the only thing it did was a place for him to go. A place where friendship is magic. It was called Equestria.

"Equestria? You want me to go there? Are you sure that I'll be seen there?" Jack asked in an anxious way. The moon smiled at him. Jack laughed in joy and immediately went straight to Equestria.

When he got there, he was surprised that Equestria was populated by colorful ponies. He was very nervous about being seen for the first time.

"Ok, Jack. Play it cool. You can do this." he said to himself as he flew to Ponyville. Jack likes it there already with happy ponies and everything colorful. No one has seen him yet. Because he doesn't know which one should see him first. So, he decided to use his diary as a tool for some pony to find and believe in him.

Jack flew into the air and looked all over Ponyville to locate a target. He took a deep breath and said, "Whoever you are, please believe in me. I need your friendship. I need someone to love." Then, he uses the wind to push the diary out into town.

The diary was flying in the air through the clouds until it landed on the front porch of a house. That house belongs to Rainbow Dash.

The next morning, Rainbow Dash opened her door as she yawned very loudly and stretched her wings. She was about to get ready for her morning flight, but she accidentally tripped on something.

"Ow! What was that?!" she asked herself as she turned around and saw a dark blue diary that belongs to Jack Frost. Curious, she picks it up and takes a look at it. "Jack Frost. Who's Jack Frost? And what is this doing here?!" she said. She looked around, hoping for someone to fly by and get the diary. But no one came. "Hmm, I don't see anyone coming to claim it. I might as well take a peek." she said as she brings the diary inside her house.

Once inside, she opened the first page of the diary. Then, she kept on scrolling down until she reached a page that said Jack Frost is now 300 years old. That is when she freaked out.

"Oh my Celestia! 300 years?! How is it possible?! I gotta tell Twilight about this!" she shouted as she flew out of her house with the diary.

...

When she got there, she knocked on the door many times until Twilight answered it.

"Oh, hey Rainbow. What's up?" said Twilight. "Twilight, you would not believe what I found this morning." said Rainbow Dash in a panicked mood. "What is it?" Twilight asked. "A diary of a 300 year old man!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she showed her friend the diary. Twilight picked it up with her magic and takes a good look at it. "Where did you find it?" she asked. "It was on my front door. Do you think this Jack Frost guy is real?!" Rainbow Dash asked in panic.

"Rainbow Dash, calm down. Its just a diary. Let's take a look at it and see what's what." said Twilight as she and Rainbow Dash went to the castle and into the library. They both looked through the diary and were in complete shock. "See? I told you!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "I don't believe it. He might be an actual person, and he hasn't been seen by anyone for 300 years. I feel bad for him." said Twilight.

"Should we tell the others about this?" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Yes, right away." said Twilight.

...

Moments later, the rest of the mane six arrived in a flash and sat down in their map room.

"Thank you very much for coming, every pony. We are here to discuss about this mysterious figure called Jack Frost. Have any of you heard about him?" Twilight asked. "Jack Frost. Hm, doesn't ring a bell." said Applejack. "Is he nice? Please tell me he is." Fluttershy asked. "I don't know if he is or not. All I know is that he's a loner." Rainbow Dash replied. "How do you know?" Rarity asked. "Because I found his diary in my house this morning. And then, I showed it to Twilight." Rainbow Dash replied as she showed everyone the diary.

"Oh wow. He must be the real deal. Do you know what he looks like?" Applejack asked. "I don't know. But, the diary said he's over 300 years old." Twilight replied. "How is it possible for someone to live for 300 years?! That's insane!" Pinkie shouted. "He might be a spirit or something." said Rarity. "What else does the diary say, Twilight?" Fluttershy asked.

"It says that he rose from a frozen lake and the first thing he saw was the moon. It also says no one can see him for an unknown reason." Twilight replied. "Ok, he's really a spirit. But, how can he not be seen? There's got to be a reason behind this." said Rarity. "Do you think Princess Luna is behind this?" Applejack asked. "I don't think so. Luna was already on the moon when Jack Frost was risen from the lake. So, it has to be something else. I just can't think of it." Twilight replied.

"So, shall we go find this Jack Frost?" Rainbow Dash asked. "That's a great idea! He probably needs some friends and we'll be his first ones." said Pinkie. "Maybe he'll answer every question we ask him, if he's ok with it." said Fluttershy. "Don't worry, Fluttershy. I'm sure he's nicest thing we've ever met." Applejack promised.

...

So, the mane six went off to find Jack Frost in the cold weather Ponyville has right now.

"Why does it have to be so cold?" Rarity asked as she covers herself and starts shivering. "It's winter, what do you expect?" Applejack asked. "Well, spring is coming in a couple of weeks." said Rarity. "Guys, we're looking for Jack Frost. Not fighting over the weather!" Rainbow Dash. "Right. Sorry." said Rarity.

While the mane six were talking to each other, Jack Frost was watching them from a tree. "Huh, they look kinda cute." he said to himself. He saw them coming towards the tree he is in and is ready to be seen, but is not sure how to present themselves. Because he was so shocked to find out that these girls are looking for him. "See any sign of Jack Frost yet?" Twilight asked. "Nope." Pinkie replied. "I don't see anyone out here but us." Fluttershy replied. "And we still don't know what he looks like. Is he a pony like us or a human being?" Applejack asked. "Who knows? Besides, I'm getting bored." said Rainbow Dash. "Me too. Let's keep looking and find him." said Twilight as she and her friends were about to leave.

"Oh, don't worry girls. You will see me." said Jack as he forms a snowball and blows on it, making it magical. Then, he throws it at Rainbow Dash. Blue glitter surrounds her eyes as she begins laughing. "Ok, who threw that?" she said laughing. "Rainbow Dash, are you ok?" Twilight asked as she was hit by a snowball. Rainbow Dash laughed at her as she threw another snowball at Applejack. "Oh yeah?" Applejack shouted as she threw a snowball at Rainbow Dash. "SNOWBALL FIGHT!" Pinkie shouted as she threw as many snowballs as she can at her friends. Now, all of them are throwing snowballs at each other and having fun. Jack joined the fun in order to be seen by the mane six.

But, he ended up making a frosted path which Applejack accidentally slipped into. She screamed as she started to slide. "Applejack!" Twilight shouted. "Don't worry about me!" Applejack shouted as she slides through the icy path Jack had caused. He keeps making the path for her and leads her to Ponyville. "No no no!" Applejack shouted as she tries to avoid bumping into some pony. "Don't worry, it's fun!" Jack shouted. "Who said that?" Applejack asked. Jack gasped and asked, "You can hear me?" He stopped the iced path and accidentally let's Applejack fly in the air. Thankfully, she landed on a nice pile of snow.

Breathing heavily and feeling anxiety in him, he flew away and hid from the mane six as they cam towards Applejack. "Applejack, are you ok?" Twilight asked. "That was so awesome! How did you do that?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I don't know, and Rainbow was right. That was pretty cool. Didn't know that I'm good at sledding. And I heard someone too." Applejack replied. "You did? Was it Jack Frost?" Fluttershy asked. "I guess so." Applejack replied. "I think that he was here with us when we had our snowball fight." said Twilight. "Yeah, and he might be the one that caused Applejack to slip on the ice." said Rarity.

"Do you what I think? I think he wants us to be his friends." said Pinkie. "Well, yeah. He's been alone for 300 years. Of course he wants friends. And we're the ones who found his diary." said Rainbow Dash. "Maybe we should let him come to us. I think he's a little shy." said Fluttershy. "You're right, Fluttershy. We should just wait for him. Let him follow us to the castle and give him a warm welcome." said Twilight.

Jack was shocked about the mane six's plan to become their friend. So, he decided to follow them to the castle and meet them in person.

When he arrived that night, he was very nervous about being seen for the first time in 300 years. Yet he's very excited as well.

Taking a deep breath, he went inside the castle quietly. There, he saw the mane six preparing a welcome party for him thanks to Pinkie Pie. "I hope your plan works, Pinkie." said Rainbow Dash. "Don't worry, it will." Pinkie promised. And then, they heard someone saying hello. "Did you hear that?" Applejack asked. "Hear what?" Twilight asked. "I heard someone saying hello to us." Applejack replied. "Is it Jack Frost? Please tell me it is." Fluttershy asked.

"Hello?!" Jack called from the hallway. The mane six looked into the hallway and saw him. Jack Frost himself. They had their jaws dropped. "It's him. It's really him." said Rarity. "I don't believe it. He's real." said Applejack. "Should we call him back?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I would." Applejack replied. "JACK FROST! JACK FROST! OVER HERE!" Pinkie shouted as she waved her arms around to get his attention.

Jack gasped at those words and said, "They said my name. They said my name. Where are you?" "Over here, Jack Frost! Right in front of you!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she showed herself in front of him. Jack gasped and covered his mouth in glee. "That's right. That's my name! You said my name. Wait, can you hear me?" he asked. Rainbow Dash nodded her head yes. "Can you see me?" Jack asked. Rainbow Dash nodded her head yes again and said, "Of course I can see you. You're right in front of me."

Jack was in tears and said, "She sees me. She sees me." "Are you ok?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I'm just so happy that I have someone to actually see me. And you're the first one. Thank you." Jack replied as he embraced her and continues to cry. Rainbow Dash rubs his back to comfort him and said, "You'll be just fine. Besides, my friends can see you too." "They can? Can I see them too?" Jack asked.

"SURPRISE!" Pinkie shouted as she and her friends came out of their hiding. "Hi there, Jack Frost. It's very nice to meet you." said Fluttershy. Jack gasped in surprise and asked, "You guys can see me too?" "Yes we can, dear. And I have to say, you are really attractive." Rarity replied. "This is amazing! I'm being seen! WOO HOO!" Jack shouted as he flies into the air in excitement. "Oh wow. I didn't know he can fly." said Rainbow Dash. "And he's a lot of fun." said Pinkie.

Jack flew down to the mane six so he can greet them properly. "Thank you all so much for seeing me. It really lifts my spirits." he said. "Well, we did know that you've been alone for a really long time." said Fluttershy. "Did you guys find my diary?" Jack asked. "Actually, I was the one who found your diary. It was on my front porch this morning." Rainbow Dash replied as she showed him his diary and gave it back to him. "Thank you. By the way, can you tell me your names?" Jack asked.

"Allow us to introduce ourselves. I'm Twilight Sparkle." Twilight replied. "I'm Fluttershy." Fluttershy replied. "I'm Applejack." Applejack replied. "My name is Rarity." Rarity replied. "I'm Pinkie Pie." Pinkie replied. "And I am Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow Dash replied. "Wow, you guys have really cool names." said Jack. "So do you. Welcome to Ponyville, Jack Frost." said Twilight as she shakes her hoof with his hand.

So, the mane six and Jack have a wonderful welcome party filled with games and talking about their lives. Jack Frost was happy to have his very first feeling of friendship.

The next day, the mane six decided to spend the entire day with their new friend Jack Frost by showing him Ponyville and the activities they like to do. Twilight was the first one to show him around.

"Wow, Ponyville is amazing Twilight. And you're the ruler of this place?" Jack asked. "Actually, I'm one of the princesses here in Equestria. The real rulers are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna." Twilight replied. "Oh, that's right. The entire world here is Equestria and Ponyville is just a town." said Jack. "That's right. Oh, I'll be glad to tell you the history of Equestria and how I became the Princess of Friendship!" Twilight shouted in glee. "Uh, sure. Why not?" Jack replied.

Twilight gleefully drags Jack all the way to her library and gathered all of the books that features history. "That's a lot of books." Jack commented. "I know! Isn't it wonderful? I'll start with this one. The Story of Hearths Warming Eve. Because this is how Equestria came to be." said Twilight as she showed him the book. "Is it like Christmas to you guys?" Jack asked. "Actually, yeah. They're both the same holiday. Anyways, let me start the story." Twilight replied as she opens the book and begins reading.

She read every single history book to Jack from the Nightmare Moon story to the foundation of Ponyville and to how Twilight discovers the magic of friendship and became a princess for it. "Whew. That's all of the history I have for you, Jack. What did you think?" Twilight asked as she turned around, only to find Jack sleeping on the table. She groaned at the sight and shouted, "JACK!" Jack woke up immediately and got startled by her yelling. "I'm up! I'm up! What did I miss?" he asked.

"Everything." Twilight replied in annoyance.

...

After that, Jack went to Rarity's boutique and saw all of the winter outfits she has made.

"Oh, hello Jack. Care to see what I have in stores?" said Rarity as she was working on an outfit. "Wow. These outfits are amazing and so comfortable." said Jack. "Well, every pony has to be nice and warm during this time of year. And they all love my fashion sense." said Rarity. "So, are you the best fashion designer here?" Jack asked. "You can say that. I also have a boutique in Canterlot and Manehatten." Rarity replied.

"That's so cool. Hey, what are you working on?" Jack asked. "Oh, I'm making something for you. Don't want you to wear that old thing forever." Rarity replied as she finished her outfit and it's revealed to be a dark blue hoodie. "You made that for me?" Jack asked as he takes the jacket. "Yes I did. It matches your eyes." Rarity replied. "Thanks. Can I put it on?" Jack asked. "Of course you can, dear. I'm sure you'll look fabulous." Rarity replied.

Jack takes off his former long sleeve shirt and puts on the blue hoodie Rarity made for him. It was a perfect fit. "What do you think?" Rarity asked. "It's perfect. And you're right, it does match my eyes." Jack replied.

Rarity squealed in delight as jumps around in circles. "I knew you'd love it. You're so sweet." she said.

When Jack left, he's already loving the jacket because of how comfortable it was. He sees Applejack coming by pulling her empty wagon.

"Oh, hey Jack. Nice hoodie." she said. "Thanks, Rarity made it for me." Jack replied. "Boy, isn't that a surprise." Applejack said sarcastically. Jack laughed at her sarcasm and asked, "Does she always make clothes for you?" "She mostly likes to dress up and be a show off." Applejack replied.

"I see. So, where are you going?" Jack asked. "I'm going back to Sweet Apple Acres and pick up some more apples for the market. Wanna come along?" Applejack asked. "Sure. I wonder what Sweet Apple Acres looks like." Jack replied as he follows her back home.

Once there, Jack was surprised to see lots of apple trees all over the place. "Like what you see?" Applejack asked. "Yeah. It's so beautiful." Jack commented. "Thanks. Me and my family keep it nice and refreshing every day. It's been here for generations." said Applejack. "Yep, and Twilight told me all about the history of this place." said Jack. "Did you sleep on her?" Applejack asked. "I actually did, and she was not happy with me." Jack replied. "Well, every pony sleeps on her when she reads something to them." said Applejack. "I can tell." Jack laughed.

"Anyways, I have to buck some apples for the market. You can help me if you want." said Applejack. "Ok." said Jack as he flew up into an apple tree and picked some apples. Applejack was busy kicking up some apples into the bucket one tree at a time. While watching her, Jack had this crazy idea for the bucket of apples to slide through the ice all the way through the marketplace.

What he did was he used his staff to create ice and puts the bucket for them to slide. When Applejack turned around and saw them sliding around, she wasn't too happy about it. "Jack! What are you doing with my apples?!" she shouted as she slipped through the ice. "Come on, Applejack. Let's have some fun." Jack replied as he takes her hooves to make her slide with him. "Oh no, not this again." Applejack muttered as she begins to slip into the ice and slides with Jack. "See? Isn't this fun?" he asked. "At least I'm used to it now because of you!" Applejack replied.

So, Jack and Applejack sled through Ponyville with a lot of apple baskets behind them. Every pony was watching the apples go all over the place. When they reached a perfect stop, Applejack halted herself with her hooves. "Whew, what a ride. Thanks a lot, Jack." she said. "Anytime. Told you that you would have fun." Jack replied. "Yep, you were right. It was a blast." said Applejack. "Better sell those apples for your family." said Jack. "Speaking of apples, I'll give you one for free. Think of it as a thank you." said Applejack as she gives him a nice red apple.

"Thanks, Applejack. See ya." Jack waved as he leaves and starts eating the apple.

When noontime came around, Jack was smelling some baked goods made by Pinkie Pie at Sugarcube Corner.

"Hi Jack! You wanna be my taste tester?" Pinkie shouted. "Sure. What are you making?" Jack asked. "Just super duper delicious sugar cookies for the holidays." Pinkie replied. "You didn't tell me that you're a baker." said Jack. "Oh, I'm more than a baker. I am also a huge party planner!" said Pinkie. "What else can you do?" Jack asked.

"I can do this." Pinkie replied as she went to the real world and took a picture of Chris Pine, then went back to Equestria. "Ta da! It's called breaking the fourth wall!" she showed him the picture in glee. "Who is that?" Jack asked. "Well, this guy has the same voice as you. So, yeah." Pinkie replied. "Whoa." Jack muttered. "Anyways, let's make some cookies!" Pinkie shouted as she began to make cookies with Jack.

All afternoon long, they've been making and eating nothing but sugar cookies. From sprinkled ones to iced ones to anything that has the word cookie on it. "Ugh, I think I ate too much." Jack grunted as he held onto his stomach. "Aw, don't get a tummy ache Jack. There's still so many cookies to try." said Pinkie as she swallows a cookie whole. "How come you don't get sick from eating a lot of junk food?" Jack asked. "Oh, my stomach can handle anything sweet and delicious. But, it's still hungry for more cookies." said Pinkie.

"That's great. I'll just go right now. So, bye." Jack replied as he zoomed out of Sugarcube Corner and started to throw up from eating too many cookies.

After he's done with his business, he was confronted by a beautiful snow owl.

"What the?" Jack asked as he saw the bird. "Oh my goodness, Elsa. You found a new friend." said Fluttershy as she saw the bird. "Oh hey, Fluttershy. I was just doing my business." said Jack as he wiped his mouth. "Are you okay? I saw you getting sick." Fluttershy asked. "I'm fine. Pinkie just gave a lot of her sugar cookies. It was too much for my stomach to handle." Jack replied. "Oh my. She always does that. Usually, Applejack is the one to stuff you with food." said Fluttershy.

"So, why do you have this snow owl with you?" Jack asked. "This is Elsa. Isn't she pretty? I named her after a friend of mine who creates ice and snow just like you do." Fluttershy replied. "She's beautiful. Is she friendly?" Jack asked. "Of course she is. She came to see me just so she won't be lonely this winter." Fluttershy replied as the owl flew on her shoulder.

"Are there other animals for me to see?" Jack asked. "No. All of my animals are in hibernation. The only animal that doesn't hibernate are snow owls." Fluttershy replied. "Oh ok. See ya." said Jack as he flew away.

...

When evening came, Jack Frost sees Rainbow Dash preparing for the evening snow.

"Hey, Rainbow Dash. You're making snow?" Jack asked. "Well, I'm just forming up snow clouds. I know that you make snow." Rainbow Dash replied. "Indeed I do. I mostly make frost, that's why my name is Jack Frost." said Jack as he whirls around his staff. "Show me." said Rainbow Dash. Jack pressed his staff into the ground and frost was everywhere. Then, he spreads it all over Ponyville and made it like a winter wonderland.

"Whoa." Rainbow Dash muttered. "Pretty cool, right." said Jack. "Yeah. You made it look so awesome! Wait till every pony sees you." Rainbow Dash replied. "Do you think so?" Jack asked. "Sure. They got to see you. Besides, this is what you do for a living." Rainbow Dash replied. "You know, I really like it here. It's filled with friendship." said Jack. "Blame Twilight on that one." said Rainbow Dash. Jack laughed at her comment.

And then, Rainbow Dash threw a snowball at him. "Wanna bet?" Jack asked as he threw a snowball at her. Then, they began throwing snowballs at each other. They even built a snowman together.

"Now that was fun." said Jack.

...

That night, Twilight is preparing the guest bedroom for Jack. But, he made it more frost like.

"Here you go, Jack. One comfortable room just for you." she said. "Thanks, Twilight. You know, I'm very glad that you and your friends came into my life." said Jack. "I know. You've been lonely for so long and you have us to understand what it's like to have friends. And you will have more friends in the future. It takes a while." said Twilight.

"Yeah. I wonder how many." said Jack. "Probably hundreds." Twilight joked. "You wish." Jack replied. "Well, perhaps we should do another snow day since you did one with all of my friends today." said Twilight. "Yep. Rarity made me this jacket, Applejack let me sled with her, Pinkie forced me to eat a ton of cookies, Fluttershy showed me a snow owl, and Rainbow Dash and I made snow together." Jack replied. "Wow. I can't believe you got along with my friends so quickly." said Twilight. "No thanks to you." said Jack.

"Goodnight Jack." said Twilight. "Goodnight Twilight." Jack replied with a smile.

That night, a dark shadow slithered around the castle until it reached Twilight's room. The shadow became a tall creepy looking man known as Pitch Black the Boogeyman.

He watched Twilight sleep peacefully in her bed and chuckled evilly. "Oh, I thought I heard something familiar. So sweet. So full of hope and wonder. Why, there's one thing missing. A touch of fear." he said as he touched Twilight's head and gave her a nightmare. Her nightmare was so powerful that she woke up with a loud gasp. Twilight tried to calm herself down with deep breaths, but things are getting worse.

Right in front of her was Pitch Black himself. Twilight screamed as she saw him. "Boo." Pitch said. Twilight keeps on screaming as she tries to zap him with her magic. "Who are you?" she asked in fear. "You don't know who I am? That hurts my feelings. I am Pitch Black. The Boogeyman. And I bring fear and nightmares to those I come upon, including such sweet ponies like you." Pitch replied as he takes a bow. "Why do you do that?" Twilight asked. "Because it strengthens my powers. I'm so glad I scared you, Twilight Sparkle." Pitch replied.

"How did you know my name?" Twilight asked in concern. "I know everyone's names around here. I also know your friends too and how important they are." Pitch replied. "You leave them out of this! I demand you to leave Equestria at once!" Twilight shouted. "I'm afraid I can't do that, Twilight. I want to turn this place into a living nightmare. Starting with you." Pitch said as he snaps his fingers to summon his monstrous horses made out of black sand to attack. Twilight gasped in fear as she tried to avoid them by flying to the ceiling.

And then all of the sudden, Jack Frost came to the rescue. "Twilight!" he shouted. "Jack, get out of here!" Twilight shouted back. "Jack? Jack Frost, so glad to see you again." said Pitch. "What are you doing to my friend, Pitch?" Jack asked in anger. "This is your friend? And she can see you? I thought you would never be seen by anyone except me." Pitch replied. "Yes, she can see me. All of her friends can." said Jack. "That's a shame. And here I thought, you still have your nightmares in your mind." said Pitch. "I don't anymore." said Jack.

"Fine then, I guess I'll let my fearlings give you more." said Pitch as he disappears in the shadows and allows his horses to attack Twilight and Jack. They both used ice and magic to get rid of them one on one in which they succeeded. Once all of the horses are defeated, Twilight was very curious about the black sand that Pitch was using. She sweeped it up and puts it in a jar. "What were those things?" she asked. "Those were Pitch's nightmare horses. They're his minions who help him spread fear wherever he goes." Jack replied.

"I can't believe he wants to turn Equestria into a nightmare." said Twilight. "Then, we have to get your friends before Pitch gets them." Jack replied.

...

When they picked everyone up, the mane six were as frightened as much as Twilight was earlier.

"Thank you very much for picking us up, Twilight. We were having the worst nightmares we could ever think of." Applejack said in panic. "It was horrible. Absolutely horrible." said Fluttershy. "Was it about the Boogeyman?" Twilight asked. "Yes, it was. How did you know?" Fluttershy asked. "He came into my room and gave me a nightmare. And then, he attacked me and Jack." Twilight replied. "Oh dear. We've never had a Boogeyman in Equestria before. What did he want from us?" Rarity asked. "He wanted to turn Equestria into a living nightmare." Twilight replied. "So, who is this Boogeyman?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"His name is Pitch Black and he's been around for hundreds of years. Far longer than I have." Jack replied. "That explains a lot since he likes to be in the dark." said Rainbow Dash. "How do you know this Pitch Black, Jack?" Rarity asked. "He's been torturing me with nightmares for as long as I can remember. And he does it for fun too." Jack replied in sadness. "Oh Jack, I'm so sorry. I didn't know that he was that cruel." said Twilight. "He did other things to me too, but I don't want to talk about it." said Jack. "I guess he was really obsessed with you, wasn't he." said Applejack. Jack nodded his head yes.

Then all of the sudden, a letter from Princess Celestia appeared out of nowhere. Jack picked it up and asked, "What's this?" "It must be a letter from Princess Celestia. She probably saw Pitch Black too." said Twilight as she opened the letter. "Well, what does it say?" Pinkie asked.

"My dearest Twilight,

I'm afraid I have some terrible news. A new threat has among us. He lives in the shadows and brings fear to anyone he sees. He calls himself Pitch Black. I'm sure you know his name by now because he's been hitting every part of Equestria already. He just cursed Princess Luna and I don't know how to cure her.

Please come to the Canterlot castle at once.

Princess Celestia"

After she's done reading, the mane six and Jack were in shock at the fact Pitch has just attacked Equestria in just one night. "This is bad! This is really bad!" Pinkie shouted. "I can't believe it either." Applejack muttered. "We have to see Princess Celestia right away." said Twilight.

So, they left Ponyville and immediately went to Canterlot to talk to the princess.

...

When they got there, there was black sand everywhere. From the ground to the buildings. Everywhere.

"Oh my Celestia! What happened to Canterlot?! It's so dreadful." Rarity asked in shock. "Pitch was here." Jack replied. "He must've spread fear all over this place." said Twilight.

Once they arrived at the castle, they saw a grieving and overly tired Princess Celestia. "Princess Celestia! We came as soon as we could." said Twilight. "I knew you would. You six always save the day." said Celestia. "We heard that Pitch Black attacked this place and spread fear everywhere." said Applejack. "It's true. It was black sand and he forms them into horrifying monsters. I never slept since." said Celestia. "Have you heard of him before?" Fluttershy asked.

"I'm afraid not. All I know is that he came from another world and has been around longer than the moon. If you don't know what I'm talking about, there is a figure called The Man in the Moon and he protects everyone with hope, wonder, and dreams. He also protected Nightmare Moon from us until you set her free." Celestia explained. "I know what you're talking about, Celestia. We have brought a friend of ours who was brought back to life by The Man in the Moon." said Twilight. "And who is that?" Celestia asked. "This is Jack Frost. Jack, this is Princess Celestia." Twilight introduced.

"Can she see me?" Jack asked. "Yes I can. And it's an honor to meet someone born by the moon." Celestia replied. "The honor is mine, your highness." said Jack. The suddenly, Celestia collapsed to the ground from weakness. "Celestia!" Twilight shouted as she and her friends ran to her. "Are you alright?" Jack asked. "I forgot to tell you that Pitch Black can weaken anyone with his nightmares. This is what he did to me and my sister." Celestia replied. "Does it kill you?" Twilight asked. "Thankfully, it doesn't kill me. But, be very careful once you face him." Celestia warned.

"What can we do?" Jack asked. "Find the Guardians. They'll help you." said Celestia. So, they put the princess to bed so she can rest and are on a mission to find the Guardians.

...

Back in Ponyville, Twilight and her friends are in the library finding out who the Guardians are.

"Oh, I just don't know why I don't have a book about the Guardians? I have a book about everything." Twilight asked in worrisome as she went from book to book trying to find what she's looking for. "But the question is. Who are the Guardians?" Pinkie asked. "Yeah, Pinkie's right. Princess Celestia never mentioned them until now." said Applejack.

"Maybe the moon could help us." Jack suggested. "Are you sure?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Well, it is the Man in the Moon and Jack Frost is here with us because of that moon." Twilight replied. Pinkie looked outside the window and saw the moon smiling down upon her. "Well, speaking of the moon. There it is right there. But, what's it doing in the middle of the day?" she asked. The rest looked at it as well and the moon is still smiling. "It's the Man in the Moon. When he smiles like that, it means he's going to give us some advice." said Jack. "Really? What's he going to say?" Rarity asked.

The Man in the Moon magically gives the mane six and Jack a picture frame of The Guardians. They are Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, and The Sandman. Everyone was shocked about the moons answer.

"No way! These are the figures we grew up with!" Pinkie shouted. "And they protect everyone from around the world? Awesome!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "So, these are The Guardians Princess Celestia suggested." said Twilight. "And they know Pitch Black more than anybody else." said Applejack. "Hey Jack, do you know these guys?" Pinkie asked. "Of course I do. They know me as well." Jack replied. "Did you get along with them or not so much?" Rarity asked. "I mostly did not get along with the Easter Bunny, if that's what you're asking." Jack replied. "That's because you both like different weather, right?" Fluttershy asked. Jack nodded yes.

"Now that we know who are The Guardians are, we need to know where we should find them." said Twilight. "Don't worry, I know where Santa is." said Jack. "Where?" Pinkie asked. "The North Pole. I've always liked it there with the nice cold weather and it feels like Christmas all year long." said Jack. "Then, we have to go there right away." said Applejack.

"It's settled then. We are going to The North Pole." said Twilight.

The next morning, the mane six are getting ready to go to the North Pole. The only things they need are the plans and black sand Twilight has gathered. "Alright, girls. Everything is all set." she said.

"Yep, and we will defeat Pitch in ten seconds flat!" said Rainbow Dash. "Hey, Jack! Do you wanna come with us to the North Pole?" Pinkie asked. "No thanks, I'm good. Besides, I don't think they'll like it if they see my face." Jack replied. "How come? I understand you don't get along with the Easter Bunny. Maybe you should give them a chance." said Fluttershy. "It's still a no, Fluttershy. They won't appreciate me." Jack replied as he backed away. "I'm sure they'll appreciate you soon. Maybe they're just busy people since they do a lot to keep everyone happy. You do the same thing too." Applejack reminded. "Oh, ok." said Jack.

"Come on! We have to get going!" Rainbow Dash shouted impatiently. "Alright alright. Let's go." said Twilight as she uses her teleportation spell on her and her friends to get to the North Pole.

When they got there, they were amazed on how beautiful the North Pole actually is with lots of toys and it feels like Christmas already.

"Oh my. This place is wonderful." Rarity said in awe. "And this is where our childhood toys are made!" Pinkie shouted in glee. "And it feels nice and toasty too." said Applejack as she warms herself by the fire. "I wish Jack came with us." said Fluttershy. "Don't worry, Fluttershy. He's just new to being seen a lot, so give him some time." said Twilight.

Then all of the sudden, a big man with a white beard and tattoos on both of his arms that says Naughty and Nice appeared. It was Nicolas St. North, leader of The Guardians. "Santa Claus?" Twilight asked. "Ladies! So glad you are here! Welcome to the North Pole!" he said in jolly. "You knew we were coming?" Twilight asked. "Of course. I received a message from Princess Celestia that you are helping The Guardians defeat Pitch." North replied. "Gee, go figure." Rainbow Dash said sarcastically. "Rainbow, be nice." Applejack scolded.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Nicolas St. North. But, you may call me North." North introduced. "I'm sure you know us, right?" Twilight asked. "Of course. You must be Princess Twilight Sparkle and your friends are Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie." North replied. "Wow, you know our names! How did you do that?" Pinkie asked. "I know every pony in Equestria, including you guys." North replied. "And so does Pitch." said Rainbow Dash.

"Oh, I guess you've seen him already." said North. "Yep, he attacked all our hometown in one night." said Applejack. "And he told me about his plot." said Twilight. "What is his plan?" North asked. "He wants to turn Equestria into a living nightmare. He didn't say why, but he just likes to torment anyone he sees." Twilight replied. "It's true! We stayed up all night because of him!" Pinkie shouted.

"Now ladies, calm down. We will discuss about this once the other Guardians arrive." said North. "Wait, they're coming here? Right now?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Yes they are. And they'll be glad to see you." North replied. "That is so cool! I'll bet they're all awesome with cool weapon gears to fight!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

...

And Rainbow Dash was right. The other Guardians were indeed awesome.

The first one to arrive was Bunnymund, or Bunny for short. "Is that the Easter Bunny?" Fluttershy asked. "Yes, I am. And I bring hope to every pony in Equestria. Just call me Bunny." Bunny replied. "Um, I thought you would be cuter." said Fluttershy. Bunny just gave her an awkward look on his face. "Do you like carrots?" Fluttershy asked. "Uh, yes." Bunny replied awkwardly. "Do you like being scratched behind the ears?" Fluttershy asked. "Ok, this is getting too awkward. North!" said Bunny.

"Let's see." said Fluttershy as she begins to pet Bunny behind his ears, which he really liked because he was stomping his left foot. "Stop it! Stop it! How'd you find my good spot?" Bunny laughed as he continues to stomp his foot. "I'm good with bunnies like you." Fluttershy replied.

Then another Guardian arrived at the North Pole, which is the Tooth Fairy. "Hi everyone, I'm here!" she shouted out. "Tooth! Look who we have here. The mane six." North introduced. "The mane six?! Oh, I have heard such wonderful things about them. And their teeth!" said Tooth. "I really like your feathers." said Rarity. "Aw, thank you. And you have beautiful fur. It's as white as pearly white teeth." said Tooth. "You sure like teeth a lot, don't you." said Rarity. "Well, I'm the Tooth Fairy. It's my job." said Tooth.

The last Guardian to arrive is The Sandman, or Sandy for short. "Sandy, so good to see you. And we have guests. Meet the mane six." North introduced. Sandy waved hello to the mane six as a greeting. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Sandy. I'm sure glad to meet someone who gave me the best apple dreams ever!" said Applejack as she gives Sandy a handshake while shaking him. "Now, be gentle with Sandy. He doesn't like things rushed." said North. "Oops. Sorry about that." said Applejack. Sandy accepted her apology by patting her on the back.

"Now that were all here, there is a good reason and one reason only. The ponies are in danger." said North. "That's right. It is all because of Pitch Black the Boogeyman." said Twilight. "Pitch? Pitch Black? Here?" Tooth asked in worrisome. "I'm afraid so, Tooth. He just attacked Ponyville overnight." Twilight replied. "Crikey. He's getting stronger every day." said Bunny. "That's why we must work together to stop him." said North.

While they were discussing, Sandy noticed that the Man in the Moon appeared in the sky wanting to tell everyone something. He waved at them and uses his signs to get their attention, but nothing worked. But then, he uses an elf with a bell on it and rang it really loud. "What is it, Sandy?" Twilight asked. Sandy pointed at the moon for them. North noticed this and said, "Ah, Man in Moon. Sandy, why didn't you say something?" Sandy bursted his ears in anger.

"What does the moon have to say?" Fluttershy asked. The moon told the mane six and the Guardians that a new Guardian is among them by bringing a big crystal. "A new Guardian?" North asked. "Looks like you have a new member on your team." said Rainbow Dash asked. "I wonder who is it going to be. Is it the Leprechaun?" Tooth guessed. "Cupid?" Rarity asked. "Mother Nature?" Fluttershy asked. "Uncle Sam?" Applejack asked. "Please not the Groundhog. Please not the Groundhog." Bunny prayed.

The new Guardian is Jack Frost.

The mane six were shocked yet excited at the same time. "You know what? The Groundhog is fine." said Bunny. "This is so awesome! Jack is going to flip once he finds out!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Someone needs a surprise party!" Pinkie shouted. "You know Jack Frost?" North asked. "Yeah! We just met him! And he's a lot of fun!" Pinkie replied. "Oh, you're so lucky to be his first believers." Tooth squealed. "We sure are." said Twilight.

"Jack Frost?! Are you kidding me?! He can't be a Guardian! He is irresponsible, selfish." Bunny complained. "Guardian." said North. "Jack Frost is many things, but he's not a Guardian." said Bunny. "Oh, he will be a Guardian. Just wait and see." said Twilight.

...

When the mane six came back from the North Pole, they were too excited to tell Jack about his surprise.

"Oh, I hope he loves his surprise." said Pinkie. "I hope so too." said Rainbow Dash. Jack saw them coming back and flew down to greet them. "Hey girls, how was the trip?" he asked. "Jack, we have a surprise for you." said Pinkie. "Really? What is it?" Jack asked. "We can't tell. You have to go to The North Pole with us to get it." said Twilight. "Guys, for the last time. I'm not going to the North Pole. You know how busy North can be." said Jack. "Come on. Don't you want your surprise?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I guess so." Jack replied. "Great! You're going to love it!" said Rainbow Dash.

Then all of the sudden, Bunny appeared out of nowhere. "Hello, mate. Been a long time, I believe. Blizzard of 68. Easter Sunday." he said. "Bunny, you're not still mad about that. Are you?" Jack asked. "Yes. But, this is about something else." Bunny replied. "Bunny, what are you doing here?" Twilight asked. "Came to pick up Frostbite over here. We want you up the North Pole." Bunny replied. "That's what we're doing too. But, we want to surprise him." Twilight replied. "Wait, Bunny is involved with this?" Jack asked. "Uh, long story. Let's just go to The North Pole." said Rainbow Dash.

So, Twilight uses her teleportation spell on her friends and Jack to get to The North Pole for the surprise.

Once Jack Frost finally arrived with the mane six, the Guardians were very glad to see him.

"Welcome to the North Pole, where you get the best toys from Old Saint Nick!" Pinkie shouted. "Wow. You got to be kidding me." Jack said in awe. "And you said you didn't want to come." said Rainbow Dash. "You're right. I take it back." said Jack. "Can't say no to the North Pole, can you?" Applejack asked.

"There he is, Jack Frost!" said North. "Hey, North. Long time no see." said Jack. "It has been a while, hasn't it." said North as he ruffles the boy's hair. "And look who's here to see you. The Tooth Fairy and The Sandman." Rarity introduced. "Hello, Jack. I have heard a lot about you, and your teeth." said Tooth. "My what?" Jack asked confusingly. Tooth opened his mouth to see that his teeth are pearly white. "Oh, you took care of them. They're so beautiful. Just like your ice and snow." she said in glee. "Ok ok, Tooth. Just give him some space." said Rarity. "Sorry." Tooth replied. "And don't forget Sandy." said Applejack, only to realize that Sandy fell asleep. "WAKE UP!" she shouted as she woke up The Sandman.

"So, the girls told me that you guys have a surprise for me. I mean, what did I do? Am I on the Naughty List?" Jack asked. "Naughty List? You hold the record. But, this is mostly about something else." North replied. "Here comes the surprise." Pinkie squealed. "What is it?" Jack asked. "What is it? I'll tell you 'what is it'! Because you are now a Guardian!" North shouted.

"SURPRISE!" the mane six shouted as music bursted through the room. There were trumpets playing by North's elves and Pinkie threw a lot of confetti with her party cannon. To Jack's reaction to all of this, he wasn't quite happy. What he did is that he raises his staff and blasted frost everywhere, causing the celebration to stop. Pinkie was spinning around with her party cannon in a stunned look on her face and said, "Touchie."

"What makes you think I want to be a Guardian?!" Jack asked in anger. North laughed at this and said, "Of course you do. MUSIC!" The music resumed playing by the elves before Jack interrupted them. "No music!" he shouted. "Jack, what's wrong? I thought you would be happy being a Guardian." Twilight asked. Jack sighed in annoyance and said, "As much as I appreciate being surprised, I don't want any of this."

"Of course you don't. Why? Because all you care about is snow all over the place." said Bunny. "Yep, its true. Besides, you don't want me. You're all of hard work and deadlines, I'm snowballs and fun times. I'm not a Guardian." Jack replied. "Maybe you should give it a chance. You won't be alone anymore." Fluttershy promised. "But, I have you Fluttershy. You and your friends." said Jack. "I know. But, you won't stay in Equestria for long. The seasons change and you only like winter." said Fluttershy. "And it's about time you do something for your life besides freezing everything." said Twilight.

"Let me show you something. This globe represents Equestria and each light you see is a pony." said North as he shows Jack and the mane six a large globe he watches over. "Oh wow. North, you didn't show us this before." Twilight said in awe. "This is how I watch over every pony in Equestria. Whether it is a child or an adult, good or bad, naughty or nice. We protect them, including you." North replied. "Wow." Rainbow Dash muttered. "But, what happens when the lights go out?" Applejack asked. "We Guardians will become weak and it will kill us. That is why we have to be believed in." North replied.

"That explains why Jack wants to be seen after all these years, right?" Rarity asked. "Wait, you're telling me that I've been waiting for 300 years of loneliness just to be a Guardian? That is not me! No offense." said Jack. "How is this not offensive? He doesn't care about anything." said Bunny. "Yep, the kangaroo is right." Jack replied in a rude manner. "The what? What did you call me? I am not a kangaroo mate." Bunny asked angrily. "If you're not a kangaroo, what are you?" Jack asked. "I'm a bunny. The Easter Bunny. People believe in me." Bunny replied angrily. They both stared at each other like they want to fight.

"That's enough! No one is fighting here! Bunny, leave Jack Frost alone." Fluttershy scolded. "Excuse me, Fluttershy. He does not care about anyone or anything. Not even you." Bunny replied. So, Fluttershy has no choice but to give Bunny The Stare. Bunny was confused at this and asked, "What is she doing?" "She's giving you The Stare. She does this to animals who misbehave." Twilight replied. Fluttershy kept staring at Bunny until the effects started to kick in. "Agh! Make it stop! Ok ok! I'll be nicer to Jack Frost, just stop staring at me!" Bunny shouted in agony. "Good Bunny." said Fluttershy as she pats him on the head.

Jack was laughing at the whole thing. "Jack, walk with me. Twilight and I have something to discuss with you." said North.

...

So, Twilight and North took Jack to the office where they can talk to him.

"Are you trying to talk me into being a Guardian? If it is, the answer is no." said Jack. "Actually, yes. It is about you being a Guardian and you will a great one." Twilight replied. "And, there's another thing I want to discuss with you." said North as he slams the door locked behind Jack so he won't get out.

"Who are you, Jack Frost? What is your center?" North asked. "My center?" Jack asked. "Yep, everyone has one. Including you. Take a look at my friends. Applejack has honesty, Pinkie Pie has laughter, Fluttershy has kindness, Rarity has generosity, Rainbow Dash has loyalty, and I have magic. These centers represent the Elements of Harmony and they remain in us forever. Now, it's your turn." Twilight explained. "I don't know what my center is." Jack replied sadly. "Well, you like to freeze things and throw snowballs at everybody." said Twilight.

"I still don't get it." said Jack. Twilight groaned in grief. "Don't worry, I'll handle this." said North as he brings out a Russian doll which represents him. "Is that you?" Jack asked. "Yes, and is this how you see me? Very big, intimidating, all that stuff. But, I'm also mysterious. And fierce. And caring. And my center is right here." North replied as he shows Jack a little doll. "You're a tiny baby." said Jack. "Yes, and what do you see?" North asked.

"He has big eyes." Jack replied. "Yes, eyes that represent wonder. That is my center. That is what makes me a Guardian. You will find your center." said North as he gives the boy the doll.

Suddenly, they saw Tooth zooming out of the North Pole and the mane six running towards them. "What's going on?" Twilight asked. Bunny and Sandy ran to them as well with worried looks on their faces. "We have a problem, mate. Trouble at the Tooth Palace." Bunny said in worrisome.

...

In a hurry, the mane six and the Guardians went to the place where North keeps his sleigh.

"Everyone, to the sleigh!" North shouted. "You have a sleigh? Cool!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Oh no. There is no way I am going on a dusty old. Sleigh." said Jack as he saw the actual sleigh and it looks awesome.

It was bright red and has wings to help it fly better and was pulled on by bulky reindeer. "Oh my Celestia." Twilight muttered. "Ok, one ride and that's it." said Jack as he gets on the sleigh. "Everyone loves the sleigh." said North as he gets on. Once everyone is on the sleigh, they are prepared for takeoff. "Oh boy. This is going to be awesome!" Rainbow Dash squealed. "Oh bloody. Where are the seatbelts?" Bunny asked. "Don't be such a baby, it's gonna be fun." said Rainbow Dash.

And then, the sleigh took off. Everyone screamed like their on a roller coaster, except for Bunny. "I told you! I told you it was gonna be awesome! Woo hoo!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "You said it! I can feel the wind in my mane!" Rarity shouted. Pinkie was sticking her tongue out like a dog and was panting like one.

After the takeoff, the sleigh began slowing down as everyone took a breather. "Hey, Bunny. Check out this view." said Jack as he fell off. "Jack!" Applejack shouted. "North! He fell off!" Bunny shouted as he looks over to see if Jack was ok. It turns out that he was joking around and he just fine. "Aw, you do care." Jack said jokingly. "Oh, back off you little show pony." Bunny said angrily.

"And now, off to Tooth Palace." said North as he uses a portal to get there.

When they arrived at Tooth Palace, it was not a pretty sight. The nightmare horses were everywhere, taking every little fairy and tooth boxes they can catch.

"What is this?" North asked. "They're taking the fairies." said Jack. "They're stealing all of the teeth." said Bunny. When a nightmare horse flew by, Twilight zapped it with her magic causing black sand to go everywhere. "Black sand." she muttered. Sandy looked at it and gave her a worried look on his face.

The horses were making the sleigh so bumpy that Applejack accidentally fell off. "Applejack!" Jack shouted as he flew down and caught her. Once she was saved, her head was already dizzy. "Are you okay?" Jack asked. "What is it with me falling down a lot?" Applejack asked herself. "Just hang on. We're almost there." said Jack as he holds her while flying to the others.

Once the sleigh was landed, they saw a panicked Tooth flying over the place. "Tooth! Down here!" North shouted. Tooth saw her friends and flew to them in grief and sorrow. "Are you alright?" Rarity asked. "No. They took all of the teeth. They took all of my fairies. Everything is gone. Everything." Tooth replied in sorrow. "I'm so sorry, Tooth. We'll get them back, don't you worry." said Rarity as she comforts the fairy.

"I have to say. This is very very exciting. The Big Four, all together. A little star struck." said Pitch as he appears out of nowhere. "Pitch!" Twilight shouted. "Hello, Twilight Sparkle. So glad to see you again, and you brought your friends. How charming." said Pitch. "Save it, Pitch! You've got thirty seconds to return my fairies!" Tooth shouted. "Or what? You'll stick a quarter under my pillow?" Pitch teased. "You heard her! Give them back or else you'll be very sorry!" Rarity shouted as she prepares to use her magic. "I already am." said Pitch as he disappears.

"Where'd he go?" Jack asked. "Right behind you, Jack Frost. I can see you have joined a group. I thought it would never happen." said Pitch. "Will you stop teasing him like that?! He's had enough of your evil schemes!" Pinkie shouted. "I don't think so. Jack is too fun to mess with, and I'm going to continue that for a really long time." Pitch replied with a chuckle. "You wish." said Jack.

"Why are you doing this?" North asked. "Maybe I want what you have. To be believed in. Maybe I'm tired of hiding under beds!" Pitch explained. "Maybe that's where you belong." said Bunny. "Oh, go suck an egg rabbit." said Pitch. "Let me guess. You want to turn Equestria into a living nightmare." said Twilight. "Very good. But, I never told you why." said Pitch. "Why?" Twilight asked. "Don't worry. No one has been afraid of him since the Dark Ages." said Bunny.

"Oh, the Dark Ages. Everyone frightened and miserable, such happy times for me. Then, The Man in the Moon chose you to give them hope and dreams. While I was forced to be stuck in the shadows, not being seen by anyone. They always say I'm just a bad dream or there's no such thing as the Boogeyman! But, that's all about to change." Pitch explained. "So that's it? You're just jealous of the Guardians?" Applejack asked. "Yes, I am. But, I also want them to be destroyed. Forgotten by the ponies forever and the only thing they will believe in is me!" Pitch replied.

Tooth was so angry at this that she took one of Bunny's boomerangs and tries to attack Pitch. But, he summoned his nightmare horse which startled her. Pinkie screamed and shouted, "It's the nightmare horse!" "That's right. I use these wonderful creatures to turn dreams into nightmares. Took a while to use that trick." said Pitch. "That explains the black sand." said Fluttershy.

Then all of the sudden, Tooth Palace was starting to collapse. "Oh, it's happening already." said Pitch. "What is?" Jack asked. "All of the little fillies are waking up, realizing that the Tooth Fairy never came." Pitch replied. Tooth was shocked at on what the Boogeyman has done to her. "What's going on?" Jack asked. "They don't believe in me anymore." Tooth replied in sadness. "You can't do that to the Guardians!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Oh, yes I can. Just watch." said Pitch. "You have a holiday too. Halloween." said Pinkie. "Halloween is just a silly joke that people use fear for fun. I want to use fear for real." said Pitch.

"No matter what you do, my friends and I will still believe in the Guardians!" Twilight shouted. "Are you sure? Little by little, everyone in Equestria will stop believing in them. No Christmas or Easter or little fairies coming in the night. It will be nothing but fear and darkness, and me. Now, it's their turn not to be believed in." Pitch explained. Twilight got so angry that she zapped him with her magic, but Pitch blocked it and went straight towards her. He grabs her and tries to kidnap her.

"Let me go, Pitch!" Twilight shouted. "I don't think so. Since you're afraid of me, I'm going to use your fear to gain my powers and your friends will be surrounded by nothing by fear." Pitch replied as he takes off with Twilight. But the Guardians are on his tail to rescue her. Jack uses his staff to freeze Pitch's arm, causing him to let go of the princess as she starts to fall. "Twilight!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she and Jack caught her. "Twilight, are you ok? Speak to me!" said Jack.

Twilight wasn't talking. The only thing that came out of her mouth was heavy breathing. Jack sets her down and tries to calm her. "Twilight, it's ok. Don't listen to what Pitch says. It's ok." he said. "What did Pitch do to her?" Bunny asked. "I don't know. All he did was trying to kidnap her." Jack replied. Sandy came in to help by sprinkling some of his golden sand onto her, and it worked. "Oh my gosh." said Twilight. "Are you ok?" Jack asked. "Does it look like I'm ok? Pitch is going to destroy you guys. He must be stopped right now." Twilight replied in fear.

"Speaking of Pitch, he's gone." said Rainbow Dash. "Oh, pony feathers. I was so close to bucking him in the face." said Applejack. "And look what he did to Tooth." said Rarity. "I'm okay, girls. Really." said Tooth. "So, why was the teeth so important?" Fluttershy asked. "It's not just the teeth, it's the memories they hold." Tooth replied. "Teeth can give you memories? I didn't know that." said Pinkie. "Maybe we could get some more teeth. That way Tooth will be believed in again." said Fluttershy.

North liked her idea and said, "That's it! We will get more teeth and we'll get believed in again." "Now, you're talking!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Oh, that's makes me feel so much better." said Twilight. "Hey Jack, care to join us?" Applejack asked.

"I'm in." Jack replied.

...

So the mane six and the Guardians went all over Equestria to get teeth. They went from Canterlot to Appleloosa to The Crystal Empire.

"There's one here and one other there! They're everywhere! This is so exciting!" Tooth shouted as she accidentally bumped into a sign. "You okay?" Jack asked. "Yes. It's been a while since I've been out in the fields." said Tooth. "And how long is that?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Four hundred and forty years, give or take." Tooth replied. "That does not surprise me since this one is three hundred years old." Rainbow Dash said as she gestures Jack. Jack laughed at her comment.

As they went from house to house, they each found a tooth underneath the pillow. And surprisingly, they competed each other to see who gets the most teeth and who gets the tooth first. Especially Jack and Bunny. "Wanna see who's the fastest?" Bunny asked. "I'm pretty fast, alright. Are you challenging me?" Jack asked. "You don't want to race with a rabbit, mate." Bunny replied as he went faster than ever before.

Once everyone got every tooth they can, they showed it to Tooth and she was very impressed. "Wow, that's a lot of teeth. But, did you leave any gifts? You gotta leave some gifts." she said. Everyone had worried looks on their faces, meaning they forgot to bring gifts to the ponies.

So, they went back and gave any pony who lost their tooth gifts. North gave out candy canes, Bunny gave out his Easter eggs, Tooth gave out coins, Applejack gave out apples, Twilight gave out books, Pinkie gave out confetti and balloons, Rarity gave out jewels, Fluttershy gave out stuffed animals, and Rainbow Dash gave out trophies.

During the tooth hunt, North accidentally dropped his teleportation snowglobe which falls into their hands of Twilight's niece Flurry Heart. She looked at it funny and began to play with it. She shook it and it showed Easter eggs, but dropped it. The globe turned into a portal and Flurry went right in.

Now that the tooth hunt is complete, it is now time to see who got the most teeth.

"Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about! We did this thing in ten seconds flat!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Now, let's see who got the most teeth. It's for fun." said Pinkie. "Way ahead of you. Check it out." said Jack as he shows his bag of teeth. "Are you kidding me? That's not a lot of teeth. This is a lot of teeth." said Bunny as he shows a much bigger bag. "Gentleman, gentlemen. Let me show you how much teeth I've got." said North as he shows the largest bag out of all of them. "Is that all? Wait till you see mine." said Applejack as she brought out a wagon of teeth.

"Well, your wagon is smaller than my bag. I win. Yee haw!" North shouted loudly as he jumps around. But, he was too loud because the nightmare horses spotted them. Fluttershy turned around and gasped in horror. "Fluttershy, what's wrong?" Twilight asked. "It's the nightmare horses. They spotted us." Fluttershy replied. "Oh no. How did they find us?" Tooth asked. "Because they're everywhere. No matter where you go, you'll always see them." said Applejack.

"Come on, we got to catch them." said Jack as he flew off to catch the nightmare horses. "Right behind you, Jack!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she follows him. "Wait for me!" Pinkie shouted as she uses her party cannon to fly. "Guys, wait!" Twilight shouted. Sandy patted her on the back, telling her that he'll keep an eye on them in case Pitch tries to harm them. "Alright, but be careful Sandy. We'll be right behind you." said Twilight.

Sandy smiled as he flys off to find Jack, Pinkie, and Rainbow Dash.

...

The nightmare horses were found in Canterlot where they continued to spread fear and darkness.

"There they are! Let's show them who's boss!" Pinkie shouted as she uses her party cannon to blow away the nightmare horses. "Right back at you, Pinkie Pie!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she begins to attack the nightmare horses as well. As for Jack, he chased down one nightmare horse. Which he ended up succeeding by freezing it.

"Hey, I got one. Whoa, look at this thing." he said as he starts tapping it with his staff. "Way to go, Jack!" Pinkie shouted. Then all of the sudden, Pitch came out of the shadows and was right behind Jack. Pinkie noticed this and shouted, "Jack, behind you!" And then, she readied her party cannon to shoot him. Jack heard her and tries to strike Pitch with his staff, but missed.

"Frost? Is that how you defeated my nightmare?" Pitch asked. "Yeah. Why?" Jack asked. "I'm very impressed by your trick. It's a shame you chose those weirdos over me." said Pitch. "They are not weirdos! Who are you talking about? The Guardians or the mane six?" Jack asked. "Both." Pitch replied. Jack growled at him and shouted, "Just wait till I freeze your butt off for taking those teeth!" "Teeth! Why do you care about the teeth?" Pitch asked.

Before Pitch can go any further, Pinkie Pie began shooting confetti at him. "You leave Jack Frost alone! How many times do we have to tell you?!" she shouted. Rainbow Dash noticed what was going on and joined the fun. "Well, look who finally showed up. Now, I can finally give you the taste of your own medicine!" she shouted as she flew towards Pitch and starts punching him in the face. "Quite a puncher you are, Rainbow Dash." Pitch teased. "Just shut up!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she continues to punch the Boogeyman.

Pitch escaped by forming into a shadow and went to another building. "Hey, come back here! I'm not done with you yet!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Oh, do you still want to play? You were too rough on me." Pitch teased. "Stop teasing us! You're being a bully!" Pinkie shouted. "A bully? That's not nice. I'm more than a bully, Pinkie Pie." Pitch teased.

Then all of the sudden, Sandy showed up right next to Pitch with a pout on his face. "Hey! Sandy!" Jack said. Pitch got startled when he saw the Sandman, but he got over it quickly. "Now, this is who I'm looking for." he said. "What do you want with Sandy?" Jack asked. "Let's just say I want to take away all of his sweet dreams." Pitch replied with a chuckle. Sandy got angered by this and brought out his sand whips to attack. He used them to swing Pitch in the air and made him fall to the ground. Pinkie was laughing really hard when she saw this. "Now that's what I call funny." she said. "Remind me not to get on your bad side." said Jack.

They flew down to confront the easily defeated Pitch, but he has other plans for them. "It's over, Pitch. Leave Equestria or else you'll be frozen like an iceberg." Jack warned. "You were right. It was stupid to mess with the dreams. I'll tell you what. You can have them back." said Pitch as he summons his nightmare horses to attack. Every single one of them surrounded them with no way out. "He can't quit, can he?" Pinkie asked. "Nope. I guess not." Rainbow Dash replied.

Pitch mounted on one of the nightmare horses and said, "Boo." The horses charged and were ready to attack, but Jack and Sandy fought them with frost and dream sand. Pinkie and Rainbow Dash fought them with a party cannon and martial arts skills. But then, the other Guardians and the mane six came to help on the sleigh. "Guys! Up here!" Twilight shouted. "Just in time, Twilight. We have a lot of nightmares to destroy." said Pinkie.

"Come on, we have to get Pitch! He's up in the sky!" Jack shouted as he and Sandy flew up in the sky to fight the horses. The sleigh followed the two and the fight with the Boogeyman has begun. "Finally." Pitch laughed evilly as he summons more nightmare horses on his enemies. "Let's do this thing!" Applejack shouted as she uses her hooves to punch each nightmare horse at a time. "Nice punch." said Bunny. "Thanks. I was born with this strength, you know." Applejack replied as she keeps punching the nightmare horses.

"I don't think my stare can get rid of the horses." said Fluttershy. "You don't need to. We'll just use our hooves and magic. After all, these creatures are made out of sand." said Rarity. "Oh, ok. Hop on." said Fluttershy. "Now, you're talking." said Rarity as she hops onto Fluttershy's back and joins the fight by zapping the horses. Twilight did the same thing with her magic, but it's more powerful and can destroy more than one nightmare horse at a time. Strangly enough, they did not see Pitch.

Where he was is right behind Sandy, readying his black sand arrow to shoot him. Jack noticed this and shouted, "We gotta help Sandy!" And then, he starting flying towards the Sandman. Twilight notices it too and follows Jack. "Sandy, watch out!" she shouted. Sandy couldn't hear her as it was too late to save him. Pitch already shot him with the arrow. "NO!" Jack shouted. "SANDY!" Twilight shouted. "Don't fight it off, little man." Pitch laughed evilly.

The others tried to get to Sandy on time, but they were blocked by the nightmare horses. Tooth tries to escape, but she fell back into the sleigh. "I'd say sweet dreams, but they're aren't any left." said Pitch. Sandy has gotten weaker by the black sand until he completely disappears. Sandy was no more. "Oh no." Rarity muttered. "Sandy." said North. "He's gone." said Bunny. "I didn't know he could do that." said Pinkie.

"No! NO!" Jack shouted in fury as he flew towards Pitch for what he did. "Jack, be careful!" Twilight warned. Jack didn't listen, he was too angry and wanted to get the Boogeyman more than anything. Pitch unleashed all of his black sand at the boy, but it didn't stop him. Jack pounded his staff onto the sand, causing frost to go everywhere and it exploded into smithereens. Pitch fell from this massive power and into the snowy ground below. But, the power caused Jack to faint as he begins falling. "Jack!" Twilight shouted as she uses her magic to catch him and bring him to safety.

Once she got back to the sleigh, everyone was worried about him. "Jack, are you okay?" Fluttershy asked. "How did you that? That was awesome!" Rainbow Dash asked. "I didn't know that I could." Jack said as he begins to feel pain. "Take it easy, mate. You gave us a quite scare." said Bunny. "I didn't save Sandy." said Jack. "It's alright. You'll be just fine." said Twilight.

On the ground below, Pitch watches the Guardians and the Mane Six retreat as he begins laughing evilly. "Finally, someone who knows how to have fun." he said.

...

Back at the North Pole, everyone is holding a memorial for the Sandman with candles surrounding his picture and holding hands.

Everyone attended except for Jack due to his guilt for not saving Sandy. He had his hood up and drew a picture of Sandy with his frost on the window. "Are you alright?" North asked. Jack said nothing to him as he gave him a sad look. "Come on, I know it wasn't your fault. You tried your best." said North as he puts a shoulder on the boy. "I wish I could've done something." said Jack. "Done something? Jack, you saved us from Pitch. Sandy would be proud for what you did." said North. "Are you sure?" Jack asked. "I'm sure. Your friends are proud of you too." said North as he gestures the mane six who came into the room.

"You feeling better, Jack?" Applejack asked. "I guess so." Jack replied. "You're still upset about Sandy, are you?" Twilight asked. Jack nodded his head yes. "Don't worry, we'll bring him back once we defeat Pitch." said Rainbow Dash. "See, Jack? You have us Guardians and your friends to guide you and help you go through this. And so will I." said North.

"Thanks North." said Jack. North reached out to him and embraced with a comforting hug. Jack hugged him back.

The fear of Pitch continues and it has gotten worse by the minute because the lights of North's globe are beginning to go out. When the mane six saw this, they were in complete shock. And so were the Guardians.

"Oh no, what's happening?!" Tooth asked in worrisome. "Its fear." Jack replied as he flew to the globe and saw the lights flickering. "It's spreaded across the globe." said Applejack. "This is bad. This is really bad!" Twilight shouted. "Who is Pitch going to strike next? I mean, he already took Tooth's fairies and destroyed Sandy! And don't get me started on what he's gonna do if he captures us." Rainbow Dash asked in worrisome. "I'm already worried about that." said Fluttershy. "Me too. Not even my party cannon can do no good." said Pinkie.

"Alright, alright! Calm down, everyone. We can fix this!" Bunny shouted. "And how are we gonna to do that exactly?" Rarity asked. "We'll spread my holiday around Equestria with colored eggs and lots of candy." Bunny explained. "Oh, I like that idea. What's your holiday called, Bunny?" Pinkie asked. "They call it Easter Sunday. With my spread of hope, the ponies will be safe and sound." Bunny replied. "Will it weaken Pitch?" Fluttershy asked. "I hope so." said Rainbow Dash.

"Well, whether it will or not. This is our last chance to save everyone." said Twilight.

...

So, the mane six and the Guardians immediately got prepared to bring Easter to Equestria. But first things first, they have to go to Bunny's Warren.

"Alright, Bunny. We're all set. So, where's your place at?" Applejack asked. "I'll take you there. Everyone, to the sleigh." said North. "Oh no. My Warren, my rules. Buckle up." said Bunny as he taps his foot to make a hole for himself and the others. "Uh, Bunny?" Rarity asked in worrisome. But it was too late to answer some questions because the rabbit hole was underneath their feet and they all fell in. Some were screaming in terror and some were squealing in delight. It was like North's sleigh, but more underground.

When everyone arrived, they all got up and the mane six were amazed on how beautiful the Warren is. "Oh my goodness. This place is so beautiful." said Fluttershy. "It really is. Very spring like to." said Rarity. "Welcome to the Warren." said Bunny. "So, where are the eggs and the candy?" Pinkie asked. "That's where you come in, Pinkie." Bunny replied.

Then all of the sudden, they hear a noise coming from a tunnel. "Did you hear that?" Applejack asked. "Yes. Something's here." Bunny replied. "Is it Pitch or his nightmares?" Jack asked. "If it is, I'm going to give him a piece of my mind." said Rainbow Dash. As the noise gets closer, they are ready to attack. With weapons all set up and shouting out their battle cries, they began to charge.

But, it was revealed to be Flurry Heart.

Twilight gasped in shock when she saw her niece. "Flurry?!" she asked. "Oh my Celestia! What is she doing here?!" Pinkie asked in worrisome. "That's what I was thinking. How did she get here in the first place?!" Bunny asked. "Uh oh. I think I dropped my snowglobe during our teeth hunting." North replied. "Crikey, somebody do something!" Bunny shouted. "Don't worry, Bunny. I'll bet she's a fairy fan." said Tooth as she showed herself in front of Flurry.

Flurry giggled at her looks. "Aw, aren't you the cutest thing. You know, I have something for you. Here it is. Look at all of little teeth, with blood and gums on them." said Tooth as she shows some teeth. Flurry was not sure if she likes them or not. She sniffed at the teeth and gave the fairy a meh face, then went back to chasing some eggs. "Oh, she didn't like teeth." said Tooth. "Well, she's a baby. She usually likes things colorful or anybody who plays with her." said Applejack.

"Blood and gums? Really? Since when do you guys hang out with kids?" Jack asked. "I hang out with kids." said Pinkie. "Well, we spend time to bring joy to ponies. We don't have time for little ponies like this one." said North as he gestures Flurry, who has an egg on her mouth. "Well, at least she's not causing any trouble." said Twilight. "Well, if we're going to prepare for Easter, might as well have some fun with it." said Jack as he makes a snowflake and it landed on Bunny, making him smile.

"Uh Jack? What did you do to Bunny?" Fluttershy asked. "I just made him a much happier kangaroo." Jack replied.

...

Now, the preparations for Easter are ready for the Guardians and the Mane Six to do by making candy and coloring the eggs.

Flurry joined in as well with the help of Bunny. "You ready to make some eggs?" Bunny asked. Flurry nodded her head yes. "Great, now let's go." said Bunny as he lets her get on his back and took her to every part of the Warren. Flurry was laughing in joy.

The eggs came out of the flowers and are walking around with their little feet. "So, that's where the eggs come from." said Pinkie. "I'll say." said Rainbow Dash. "Come on, girls. These eggs need some coloring." Rarity said in a sing song voice as she brought out some colorful paint. But, the eggs are being colored by flowers that spray color on them. Much to Rarity's disappointment. "Don't worry, you get to decorate them." said Jack as he gives her one. Rarity squealed in delight as she begins painting. Fluttershy helped her with it.

"Oh boy! Time to make some chocolate." said Applejack as she starts to mix some ingredients and made rabbit shaped chocolate. "Do you know the other candy that ponies love during this time of year?" Pinkie asked. "What's that?" Applejack asked. "JELLY BEANS!" Pinkie shouted as she brings in huge bags of jelly beans and poured them everywhere. Thankfully, they filled in all of the eggs right after they've been colored. "Whoa. I didn't they could do that." said Applejack. "Nah. That's adorable." said Bunny.

Now, there are thousands of eggs painted and filled with candy. All they have to do now is to through the tunnels and go straight to Equestria where they will bring Easter. But, there is only one egg left and that one goes to Flurry Heart. "Hey, what's that over there?" Bunny asked as he pointed the egg. Flurry noticed it and picks it up to show it to him. "Aw, that's a beauty. Now, watch these eggs go to Equestria and bring Easter to everyone." said Bunny as he puts her in his lap.

"Phew, that's a lot of work. Hope it's worth it." said Applejack. "It sure is, Applejack." said North. "Not bad." said Jack. "Not bad yourself." Bunny replied. "Yeah. Sorry I called a kangaroo earlier." said Jack. "It's the accent, isn't it?" Bunny asked. "Aw, you two are finally getting along." said Fluttershy. "I guess we are." said Jack.

But then, they hear Flurry yawning and falling asleep in Bunny's arms. "Aw, that little ankle biter. She got tired pretty quickly." said Bunny. "I love her." said Tooth. "I guess it's time for her to go home." said Twilight. "But what about Pitch?" Jack asked. "Don't worry, I'll be quick as a bunny." Twilight promised as she teleports herself and Flurry Heart to the Crystal Empire, and then came back in a flash. "Wow, that was quick." said Jack.

"Come on everybody. Let's get ready for Easter!" Pinkie shouted.

...

In just a few hours before Easter morning, Jack and Pinkie were hiding some chocolate bunnies for everyone to find.

"Okey dokey loki, all set. You all done over there, Jack?" Pinkie asked. "Yep. Dropped off the last one." Jack replied. "Great, now let's get back to the others." said Pinkie as she was about to leave.

Jack followed her, until he heard a familiar voice. "Did you hear that?" he asked. "Hear what?" Pinkie asked. "That voice." Jack replied. "What voice, Jack?" Pinkie asked. "Jack!" a voice shouted. "There it is again! It's coming from over there!" Jack shouted as he starts to follow the voice. "Jack, wait! Wait!" Pinkie shouted as she tries to catch up to him. Jack flew around to follow the voice and it lead him to a broken bed in the middle of the woods.

Pinkie finally caught up to him with panting coming out of her. When she saw the broken bed, she immediately knew it is where Pitch Black lives. "Jack, we should get out of here." she said. "Why?" Jack asked. "This is where Pitch lives, and I think he's trying to trap us." Pinkie replied. "Are you sure?" Jack asked. "Of course I'm sure! I'm never wrong." Pinkie replied. "Jack!" a voice shouted. Jack turned around as he heard it again, and then he jumped into the dark hole to find it.

"Jack, come back here! Jack!" Pinkie shouted as she follows him. Once inside, it was revealed to be Pitch's lair with Tooth's fairies being held in cages and the teeth boxes scattered everywhere. "Oh no. You were right, Pinkie. We should get out of here." said Jack. "That's what I'm trying to tell you!" Pinkie shouted.

"Looking for something?" Pitch asked as he came out of nowhere. Pinkie screamed at him as she hides behind Jack. "Well, this is a surprise. Have you come to claim what is rightfully yours, Jack?" Pitch asked. "I didn't. I was just about to leave." said Jack. "Don't leave yet, Jack. The fun has just begun." Pitch laughed evilly as he made his lair dark and separated Jack and Pinkie.

All that was heard was Pinkie's screams and cries for help. "No! Jack! Jack!" she cried. "Pinkie!" Jack shouted as he tries to find her, but Pitch stopped him. "Uh uh uh, Jack. I haven't told you about your darkest fears." he said. "I don't have any fears!" Jack shouted. "Oh? But, you do. You're afraid of losing your friends, including that annoying pink one you brought here. And worst of all, you're afraid of not being seen by anyone. Being forgotten for the next hundreds of years!" Pitch shouted. "Stop it! STOP IT!" Jack shouted as he covers his ears.

"Oh, did I hurt you Jack? Here, let me make you feel all better." said Pitch as he gives the boy his tooth box. "Where did you get that?" Jack asked. "Do you want them, Jack? Your memories?" Pitch asked. Jack was about to reach out to it, but didn't. "I can't. I have to find Pinkie. Besides, I've had enough of you messing with me." he said as he tries to find his friend, but he was suddenly pushed my black sand and thrown to the ground.

"Never say that I've had enough! There is never enough fear for me to feed! And you are my favorite. Along with Twilight Sparkle." Pitch yelled as he gives Jack his tooth box. "What did you do?" Jack asked. "Believe me, Jack. What did you do?" Pitch chuckled evilly. Jack was enraged as he tries to attack Pitch, but ends up in one of Bunny's tunnel.

"No! Pinkie Pie! PINKIE!" Jack shouted as he tries to get back to Pitch's lair. "Happy Easter, Jack." said Pitch. Jack turns around and saw all of the Easter eggs destroyed. Nothing was left. "No." Jack muttered as he flew out to find the others.

Things have gotten worse for the mane six and the Guardians. Because Easter was ruined. They tried everything to keep every pony happy, but nothing worked due to the fear and darkness harming them. And worst of all, they stopped believing in Bunny.

"I'm still here, you guys. Here, I have some eggs. I know they're not the best, but they can do no good." Bunny pleaded. The ponies didn't listen to him nor could they hear him. "There's no such thing as the Easter Bunny." Lyra said as she walked through Bunny, meaning she doesn't see him. Bunny was in shock and dropped to his knees in grief. "She didn't see me. None of them could see me." he said in tears. "Bunny!" Fluttershy shouted as she reached towards him to comfort him.

"That was our last chance, and now it's gone!" said Twilight. "We still have Christmas to spread." said North. "But what if it doesn't work?" Twilight asked in worrisome. "Yeah. Pitch has destroyed everything we've made to keep you guys alive." said Applejack. "He even broke our spirits. It hurts so much." said Rarity as she holds herself.

And then, Jack Frost arrived and flew towards everyone to see what Pitch has done to them. "Jack, there you are. We were worried sick!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "I'm too late, aren't I?" Jack asked. "Oh, you should've seen it. Pitch's nightmares destroyed everything. The eggs have smashed, none of them made it to the surface." North explained. "And they destroyed every chocolate bunny Pinkie and I made." said Applejack.

"Speaking of Pinkie, where is she?" Twilight asked. Jack stammered at her question because he doesn't want to hurt her feelings. "Jack, where is Pinkie Pie? She was with you!" Twilight shouted. Jack sighed in grief and replied, "Pitch has her." The mane six and the Guardians gasped in shock at the answer. "You were with Pitch? Why?" Fluttershy asked. "Look, I'm sorry. He trapped me and Pinkie. I didn't know what to do. I'm sorry." said Jack.

"WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE TRUSTED YOU!" Bunny shouted. "Bunny!" Fluttershy pleaded. "No! Ever since Jack came with us, he made things worse! We're better off without him!" Bunny shouted. "You can't say that. Jack didn't do anything wrong, and it's not his fault that your holiday got destroyed." said Twilight. "She's right. Blame Pitch on all of this!" said Rainbow Dash. Bunny didn't listen to anything they said and left. "You know what? I'm done." he said as he leaves.

"Bunny, don't leave." said Fluttershy. "Oh no. What have I done?" Jack asked himself. "Jack, it wasn't your fault. We can fix this." Applejack promised. "It is my fault! And we can't fix it either! The Guardians are dying because of me! That's why I don't want to be a Guardian, because I mess things up! I ruin everything! And I ruined Equestria." Jack shouted in tears. "No, you didn't. Pitch did." said Applejack. "Pitch had always wanted me, and his obsession has been in the way ever since!" Jack shouted. "Its ok, Jack. Please, don't be hard on yourself." Applejack pleaded.

"I'm sorry, girls. I can't do this anymore." said Jack as he was about to leave. "Jack, don't leave! We need you!" Twilight pleaded. "You don't need me. You heard what Bunny said, I only made things worse." said Jack. "He didn't mean it. He was just upset that his holiday got ruined." said Fluttershy. "Goodbye, girls." said Jack as he flew away, never turning back. "Jack, come back! Jack! JACK!" Twilight shouted.

"Oh no, he ran off. I can't believe he blamed himself for what happened." said Tooth. "I wish that kangaroo was nicer to him, that way Jack would've felt more welcome to you guys!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "And I wish Pitch would never be obsessed with him." said Rarity. "Poor Jack. He was like a son to me." said North. "Now, what do we do? Christmas is our only option left." said Applejack. "The only thing we have to do now is to make presents and cookies. That's it." said North.

"But, what about Jack and Pinkie? They're still out there, scared and alone." Rainbow Dash asked. "Maybe you should go find them and bring them back safely. But, be very careful." said Twilight. "I will." Rainbow Dash promised as she flew off to find her missing friends.

The others went back to the North Pole in order to spread Christmas before it's too late.

When they got there, they immediately went straight to work with the presents and the cookies.

Fluttershy did the toy making with North, Rarity was wrapping presents, Applejack was making the cookies, and Twilight had to keep an eye on the globe and organize everything.

While doing this, Twilight noticed that most of the lights on the globe have gone out and she completely freaked out. "No! NO! NOOOO!" she yelled. North heard her shouting and came to her aid. "Twilight, what's wrong?" he asked. "The lights. Most of them are all out." Twilight replied. "Oh, I can feel it too." said North as he starts collapsing.

Twilight gasped in horror and shouted, "North!" "This is what happens when the ponies stop believing in us Guardians." said North. "Oh, North. I'm so sorry." Twilight said in tears. "Twilight, don't cry. You've got to be strong for the Guardians. I'll be fine. I'll regain my strength once Equestria starts believing again." said North.

Applejack and Rarity entered the room and saw what happened. "Oh no. Equestria has now fully turned into a living nightmare." said Applejack. "I feel so bad for everyone suffering from those dreadful dreams Pitch has given them." said Rarity. "I'll say. I couldn't even fall asleep ever since I saw that creep." said Applejack. "How's everything going, guys?" Twilight asked. "Well, the cookies are doing just fine. Made them with sugar, gingerbread, and snickerdoodle." Applejack replied. "And the presents are looking so divine with nice wrapping paper and glittering bows." Rarity replied.

"That's great. But, North is already getting weak." said Twilight. "Don't worry, I'm okay. I just need some rest." said North. "Oh no, that's dreadful. Tooth is suffering from the same thing. She couldn't fly properly and her feathers are coming off." said Rarity. "And I haven't seen Bunny ever since the ponies stopped believing in him. I hope Rainbow Dash finds Jack Frost soon, we really need him right now." said Applejack. "She's going to find Pinkie Pie too. I hope she doesn't get hurt." said Rarity.

"Oh, I hope they're ok." said Twilight as she watches the lights flickering on the globe.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash is searching for Jack Frost on a deserted land of ice and snow.

"Jack! Jack! Jack, where are you?!" she shouted. She looked everywhere, from the rocks, to the hills, and even in caves. While she was continuing her search, Rainbow Dash started to feel cold. Probably because she's been out in the snow too long without anything to keep herself warm. "I better hurry before I catch a cold." she said to herself.

Finally, Rainbow Dash has found Jack on the edge of a cliff still angry at himself. "Jack!" she called out. Jack heard her voice and turned around. "Rainbow Dash? What are you doing here?" he asked. "I came to find you. Come on, we've got to go home." Rainbow Dash replied. "Rainbow Dash, you have to leave." Jack warned. "Why? Jack, what's going on?" Rainbow Dash asked in worrisome.

Then all of the sudden, Pitch appeared right behind them. "I thought that this would happen. I never really believed in him. I was just trying to show him what it is like. But, I understand." he said. Jack immediately attacked Pitch with his staff and shouted, "You don't understand anything!" "I know what it's like to be casted out!" Pitch shouted as he defended himself with his black sand. Angered, Jack made a massive blow on the Boogeyman. Rainbow Dash ducked and covered during the fight.

Pitch defended himself with black sand once more and it caused some dust to be spread. "Jack!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "I'm okay, just stay there." said Jack. Pitch appeared behind him again and said, "To not be believed in. To long for a family." "Jack has a family, and he has very good friends to stand by his side!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she came out of her hiding. "Oh, he does? Well, what if his new family abandoned him all because he ruined Easter? But, don't worry. He has someone else to take care of him." said Pitch.

"And who would that be?" Rainbow Dash asked. "You're looking at him." said Pitch as he gestured himself. "No, you can't be my new family. Besides, all you do is scare people." said Jack. "I know. But together, we can do the impossible. Look what we can do." said Pitch as he shows the boy and Rainbow Dash a huge statue made out of black sand and frost. "Oh wow." Rainbow Dash muttered. "What goes together with cold and dark? And absolutely everything will be." said Pitch.

"Pitch Black?" Jack asked as he interpreted the Boogeyman. "And Jack Frost too. They'll believe in both of us." Pitch suggested. "No, they'll fear both of us. And that's not what I want." said Jack. "Yeah, that's right. All Jack wanted is friendship." said Rainbow Dash. "Well, I'm his friend. I'm the only friend he's ever had." said Pitch. "We're not friends, Pitch! Now, for the last time! Leave me alone!" Jack shouted as was about to leave with Rainbow Dash.

Pitch was stunned by the answer, and was angered by the fact Jack chose the mane six over him. "I've always liked you, Jack. Ever since I saw you wondering around, wanting to be seen. In fact, I was the first person to ever see you. But, you kept running away from me all because you don't like my nightmares! So, I continue to give you nightmares in order for you to join me. In conclusion, I've always wanted you to be mine." he said.

Jack stopped and turned around. "What you did all those years ago is wrong. You never gave me love or friendship. I chose the mane six for a reason. They are the ones that gave me what I need the most." he said as he stood by next to Rainbow Dash. "Fine, you want to be with the ponies. Done. But, first." said Pitch as he pulled out a familiar face in his grasp.

It was Pinkie Pie being strangled by the Boogeyman. "PINKIE PIE!" Jack and Rainbow Dash shouted as they tried to get to her. But, Pitch stopped them. "Let her go, Pitch!" Rainbow Dash shouted. Pitch saw her and uses his black sand to capture her by tying her up. "Rainbow Dash!" Jack shouted as he prepares to attack the Boogeyman with his staff, but was once again stopped. "The staff, Jack!" Pitch demanded. "Or what?" Jack asked. "If you do, I'll let them go." Pitch replied as he pets Pinkie's mane.

"Jack. Don't." Pinkie pleaded as she was still strangled. Pitch shook her violently to keep her quiet. "Stop it! No wonder why Jack doesn't want to join you!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "So, who do you like better Jack? Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie?" he teased. "Just let them go! They've had enough of you harming them!" Jack pleaded. "Give me the staff then." Pitch demanded.

Not wanting to lose his friends, Jack gave Pitch his staff. "Now, let them go!" Jack shouted. "No." Pitch replied coldly. "What?" Jack asked angrily. "You want to be alone. So, be alone!" Pitch shouted as he throws Pinkie into a deep ice hole. "No! Pinkie!" Jack shouted. But then, Pitch snapped his staff in half. Jack yelled in pain as he held himself because the staff was connected to him. "JACK!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "I've had enough of you getting in my way, Rainbow Dash." Pitch shouted as he throws her into the ice hole with Pinkie.

"No! Stop! You've done enough!" Jack pleaded. Pitch picks him up and held him in his arms. Then, he drops Jack into the ice hole along with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. He laughed evilly and threw away the staff at them before he left. Jack got very weak from the fall and the fact that his staff is broken. So much so that he couldn't stand up. "Jack." Pinkie called out. "Pinkie! Rainbow Dash! Are you two alright?" Jack asked. "Ugh, I've been through worse." Rainbow Dash replied as she rubs her head. "He gave me so many nightmares. They're not going away. They're not going away!" Pinkie cried.

"Oh, it's ok Pinkie. You're safe now." said Jack as he embraces his friend. Pinkie yelped at his touch and sneezed. "Bless you." said Rainbow Dash. "Sorry, all I do is to keep you cold." said Jack. "I'm cold too. Hopefully I won't get sick after this." said Rainbow Dash. "Pitch was right. I make a mess out of everything." said Jack. "No, he's wrong. Besides, he doesn't even know the real you." said Rainbow Dash.

But suddenly, Jack begins to feel pain and laid down on the cold floor. "Jack, are you ok?" Pinkie asked. "Pitch broke my staff. That's why I'm like this." Jack groaned in pain. "Oh no. I'm so sorry. I wish I wasn't afraid of Pitch." said Pinkie. "We were all afraid of Pitch. You should see Twilight, she's been getting panic attacks ever since he gave her nightmares." said Rainbow Dash. "Maybe you should get some rest, Jack. You'll feel much better." said Pinkie. "Ok, I'll do that." said Jack as he leans his head and closed his eyes. Pinkie and Rainbow Dash held each other to keep themselves warm.

A few hours later, Jack's tooth box began glowing and the familiar voice was heard once more. He woke up by the sound and pulled it out of his pocket. "Hey, is that your tooth box?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Yes, it is. But, why is it glowing like that?" Jack asked. "Maybe you should open it and see what's inside." Pinkie replied.

So, Jack opened his tooth box and saw his past memories with Pinkie and Rainbow Dash

It was when Jack was a human boy with brown hair and brown eyes, and he had a little sister.

He had always play tricks, make kids laugh, and knows how to have fun. One day, he took his sister out to go ice skating. But, the ice was too thin as it begins cracking underneath their feet.

"It's ok. It's ok. Don't look down, just look at me." said Jack. "Jack, I'm scared." his sister said as the ice starts cracking underneath her feet. "I know. I know. You're gonna be alright. We're gonna have a little fun instead." Jack promised. "No, we're not." his sister said. "Are you sure?" Jack asked. "Yes, you always play tricks." his sister said. "Not this time. I promise." said Jack.

"You wanna play a game? We'll play hopscotch. See? One. Two. Three." said Jack as he hops on one foot to get to safety. His sister was laughing the whole time. "Now, it's your turn. One. That's it. Two. You're getting there. Three." said Jack as he pulls his sister away from the cracked ice and into safety.

They both laughed until Jack had fallen into the ice and immediately drowned. "JACK!" his sister shouted. The Man in The Moon was there when it happened and decided to turn the boy into Jack Frost.

(end flashback)

Jack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie were shocked about the flashback.

"Did you see that?" Jack asked. "I did. You used to be a human, but then you died saving that girl." said Rainbow Dash. "And The Man in The Moon brought you back to life." said Pinkie. "So what's why the moon chose me. I'm a Guardian. IM A GUARDIAN!" Jack shouted in happiness as he hugged Rainbow Dash and Pinkie. "I knew you have it in you." said Rainbow Dash.

"We have to get out of here." said Jack. "But, what about your staff?" Rainbow Dash asked. Jack noticed it and picks it up, trying to put it back together with his frost. And it worked. "Yeah, now you're talking!" Pinkie shouted. "Now, let's go help the Guardians!" Rainbow Dash shouted.

"Come on, girls. We have Equestria to save." said Jack as he flew out of the ice cave with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie in excitement.

Back at the North Pole, Twilight is still trying to get things organized with the presents and the lights on the globe. But, she's also very stressed out about it.

It doesn't help either when Pitch showed up on top of the globe with victory. "Oh no." Twilight muttered. Pitch laughed at her and said, "You won't be needing any Christmas presents anymore. Thank you. Nor ever again." "Let me guess. You want to destroy anything that deals with Christmas like you did to Easter." said Twilight. "That's exactly what I'm going to do right now." said Pitch as he uses his black sand to destroy all of the presents and the cookies.

The destruction causes Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy to fly all over the place until they landed next to Twilight. "Guys, are you ok?" Twilight asked. "Ugh, what happened?" Applejack asked. "Yes! I have finally destroyed everything that deals with the Guardians!" Pitch laughed evilly. "You monster! Why are you so cruel?!" Fluttershy shouted in fear. "Because it's who I am, Fluttershy. And there's nothing you can do to change it." Pitch replied.

He turned around to see the globe, and smiled when all of the lights are out except for six. "Well, it looks like most of Equestria has stopped believing in the Guardians. And you ladies are the only ones that still do." he said. "No." Twilight muttered. "Yes, yes, yes! I've won!" Pitch shouted in joy. "No, you didn't. Jack Frost can still beat you." said Rarity. "Oh, Jack Frost? You don't have to worry about him anymore, because I got rid of him. Also, your other friends were beaten too." Pitch replied. Twilight gasped in shock and shouted, "No! Not Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie!" "Yes. Those two were in the way and they were completely obnoxious." said Pitch.

"What are you going to do to us?" Fluttershy asked in fear. "The same thing I did to your friends. Prepare to not see the light of day ever again!" Pitch replied as he prepares to attack Twilight and her friends, but she blocked the attack and made an escape. "Let's get out of here!" Twilight shouted. The girls ran for their lives as Pitch chases after them. "He's onto us!" Fluttershy shouted. "We have to get North and Tooth." said Applejack.

"I'll go get Tooth, you guys get North." said Rarity as she went to the other direction to get the Tooth Fairy. When she did, Tooth was already weak and could no longer fly. "Rarity?" Tooth asked. "Oh, Tooth. You look awful. Come on, let's get out of here. Pitch is here at the North Pole, and he won't stop at nothing until we're all dead." Rarity replied as she uses her magic to lift up the Fairy and took her to the sleigh. "But, there's nothing left. I'm done for." said Tooth. "Don't say that. There's still a way to save you." Rarity replied as she ran faster.

When Twilight, Fluttershy, and Applejack got North and took him to the sleigh, there was no time to lose because Pitch is still right behind them. "We better hurry up!" Applejack shouted. Rarity ran towards them with Tooth and jumped into the sleigh. "Perfect timing, Rarity." said Twilight. "Thanks. Tooth is getting weaker by the minute." Rarity replied. "And so is North. We have to go to Ponyville, and we need everyone there to believe in the Guardians again." said Twilight. "Then let's go before Pitch gets us." said Applejack. "Right." said Twilight as she took the wheel of the sleigh and started flying it.

Now, they are off to Ponyville.

...

When they got there, all of Ponyville is covered with pure darkness.

"Oh my Celestia. Our home is covered with darkness. I can't even bear with it." Applejack said in despair. "It's dreadful. Absolutely dreadful." said Rarity. But suddenly, the sleigh crash landed and the reindeer ran off. "Come back!" North shouted. "Aw, the sleigh is broken." said Twilight. "It's hopeless. Everything I have is gone." said North. Fluttershy looked up in the air and shouted, "Hey, look up there!"

It was Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, and Jack Frost coming to the rescue and they are safe and sound. "Rainbow Dash! Pinkie Pie! Oh, I'm so glad you two are safe." Twilight shouted as she hugged her friends. "We're fine, Twilight. Really." said Rainbow Dash. "We almost got killed though." said Pinkie. "Jack. You came back." said Tooth. "I'm sorry that I left you. I promise that I will never leave the Guardians again." said Jack. "That's my boy. You act like a true Guardian." said North.

"Thanks. But, where's Bunny?" Jack asked. "Losing Easter and Christmas took effect on all of us. Bunny, most of all." said North as he shows everyone what happened to Bunny. He shrunk down into an actual bunny rabbit. "Oh no." Jack muttered. Rainbow Dash started to laugh really loud when she saw Bunny's new appearance. "Laugh all you want, Rainbow Dash. Because it ain't gonna help." said Bunny. "Aw, look you cute you are. You look like an actual bunny." said Fluttershy as she begins to scratch him behind the ears, which he really loves.

But, he stopped when he saw Jack and walked towards him to say he's sorry. "Look, Jack. I just wanna say I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier. This is what I get for giving up hope." he said. Jack picks him up and said, "Well, apology accepted kangaroo." Bunny laughed on what he said. "It's about time you two are getting along." said Fluttershy.

Then all of the sudden, thunder was heard and Pitch showed up with thousands of his nightmare horses. "It's Pitch!" Twilight shouted. "And he wants us dead!" Rarity shouted. "Get the Guardians out of here. Find a good place to hide." Jack ordered as he flew into the sky to face Pitch. "Be careful, Jack." said Fluttershy as she picks up Bunny and flies away. "Oh, I have a bad feeling that he's not going to make it." Applejack said in worrisome.

When Jack reached to the Boogeyman, Pitch was surprised to see him alive. "Jack Frost? You're still alive? Well, let's end this. Shall we?" he asked as he charged at the boy. Jack shot some frost at him, but he defended it and has is more powerful than ever. "That trick doesn't work on me anymore!" Pitch shouted as he shoots black sand at Jack, causing him to fall out of the sky.

As the mane six try to find a hiding place, they saw Jack fall straight to the ground hard. "Jack!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "I knew this would happen." said Applejack. "Are you alright?" Twilight asked. "I can't beat him. He's stronger." said Jack as he feels pain from the fall. "Now, what do we do?" Pinkie asked.

Pitch has finally have the mane six and the Guardians cornered by surrounding them with himself and his nightmare horses. "All this fuss for being believed again? And these six girls still believe? They should be filled with complete fear by now." he said. Bunny tried to defend them and said, "You have to go through me, first." Pitch teased him by scratching him behind the ear and said, "Oh, look how fluffy you are. You like being scratched by the ear?" Bunny hid behind Fluttershy and shouted, "Don't you think about it!"

"You know how happy I am to see you like this. You look awful." said Pitch as his shadows grew closer towards the mane six, making them more frightened than ever before. "He's going to kill us!" Rarity shouted as she closed her eyes. "This is it, we're done for." said Applejack. Twilight holds onto Jack and said, "Jack, I'm scared." "We're all scared." said Rainbow Dash.

As Jack was about to comfort them, he remembers what he said to his sister when she got scared. "I know, girls. You're going to be alright. We're going to have a little fun instead." he said. And then, something clicked in his mind. Jack has finally found his center. "That's it. I've found my center." he said. "Beg your pardon?" Applejack asked in confusion. "Fun. Your center is fun." said Twilight.

"Now, girls. Do you have complete fear in you?" Pitch asked as he was hit by a snowball by Jack, making everyone laugh. "That was funny. Do it again." said Pinkie. Jack threw another snowball at Pitch, and then the mane six joined in. "Take that, Pitch!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Hey, what we just did took away our fear." said Fluttershy.

"I've got an idea. We need everyone in Ponyville to help us." said Jack. "Everyone?" Twilight asked. "Yep. If they all believe in the Guardians again, they'll be saved." Jack replied. "Alright, let's do it." said Twilight. "Come on! Woo hoo!" Jack shouted as he made an ice trail for the mane six and the Guardians, just to make it more fun.

And it actually is. It's like a roller coaster for them with the high speed and the excitement. "I really like sled rides now." said Applejack. "Well, you've had it in you all along Applejack." said Jack as he makes more ice to make the trail more fun. He even made a huge loop. "Whoa, that was so awesome!" Rainbow Dash shouted.

During the sled ride, everyone in Ponyville saw them having fun which makes them feel better. "Hey, look. We've got an audience." said Pinkie. "Perfect." said Jack. "Everyone! We're here to help you believe in the Guardians again! But, we need your help fighting the Boogeyman! I promise that all of your fears will go away!" Twilight shouted to the ponies. "And say hello to Jack Frost! The new Guardian, and make sure you believe in him!" Pinkie shouted. The ponies agreed and began to believe in the Guardians again, and also started to believe in Jack Frost.

"They're beginning to see me." said Jack. And then, North regained his personal strength while Tooth has gotten her ability to fly again. "Yay! The Guardians are back!" Pinkie shouted. "Yee haw! I knew it would work!" Applejack shouted in excitement. "Oi! What about me?" Bunny asked. "Don't worry, Bunny. You'll grow back to your normal size right about now." said Pinkie as she uses a hat to cover him right when he grew back, making it more magical. "Now, that's more like it." said Bunny. "Ta da!" Pinkie shouted.

Then all of the sudden, Pitch showed up to make sure that the Guardians are dead, including Jack Frost. "It's the boogeyman!" a pony shouted. "Everyone, please calm down! He's nothing but a bad dream!" Jack shouted. "We'll protect y'all." said Bunny. "Oh really? You Guardians want to the ponies? But who will protect you?" Pitch asked.

"I will." said Twilight. "I will." said Rainbow Dash. "I will." said Pinkie. "I will." said Fluttershy. "And me." said Rarity. "Ditto on that one." said Applejack. "You see, Pitch? The mane six have always protected the Guardians from you. They even saved me from not being believed in. And they saved me from you." said Jack.

"Ha! Is that so? You all still think that there's no such thing as the boogeyman?!" Pitch shouted as he releases a massive force of black sand towards everyone. "I do believe in you. But, I'm not afraid of you." said Twilight. Just as when the black sand touched her horn, it immediately turned into golden sand. The mane six and the Guardians were shocked at this. "What just happened?" Twilight asked. "You conquered your fear of Pitch. Which destroys the fear inside you." North replied.

"Come on, every pony! Let's kick Pitch's butt!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she begins to fight off the nightmare horses. The rest of Ponyville joins her by touching each of the nightmare horses, turning them into golden sand. "Well, it looks like no one is afraid of Pitch anymore." said Jack. "Neither are you." said Twilight.

To make the battle more interesting, North brought out his yetis and elves to join in while Bunny summons his statue eggs. "Oh yeah!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "One set of confetti for you and another set of confetti for you!" Pinkie shouted as she shoots confetti at the nightmare horses, making them turn into golden sand. Applejack keeps bucking on the nightmare horses without a sweat while Twilight and Rarity zap them with their magic.

During the fight, Jack sees Pitch trying to escape and chases after him. "Guys, Pitch is getting away!" he shouted. "Then, let's get him!" Bunny shouted as he follows Jack. "Right behind you!" North shouted as he joins Bunny. "Oh, come on. Give me a break." said Pitch as he defends himself with his black sand. But, he was stopped when Twilight zaps him with her magic.

"Good job, Twilight. Now, let's finish him!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she joins the fight. Pitch keeps throwing black sand at them, but they defended themselves with it while the Guardians were fighting him. "Ho Ho Ho!" Bunny shouted as he threw his boomerangs at the boogeyman. "Take that, you bully!" Pinkie shouted as she shoots confetti at him with his party cannon.

As Pitch tries to run away from them, Twilight tackles him to the ground and uses her magic to keep him still. "Now, we've got him." she said. "You think this is over?" Pitch asked as he breaks free and backs away. "It is over, Pitch. And there's no place to hide." said Jack. Pitch actually did hide in the shadows and appears right behind Jack, holding him hostage by covering his mouth and bonding his wrists.

"Jack!" North shouted. "Let him go, Pitch!" Twilight shouted. "Nobody move. Or the boy dies." Pitch warned. But suddenly, a rope of golden sand grabs the boogeyman and drags him away from Jack. "Jack, are you ok?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." Jack replied. The figure that saves Jack from Pitch was none other than Sandy. "Is that who I think it is?" Applejack asked in awe. "It's Sandy! He's come back to us." said Rarity.

Sandy easily defeated Pitch by punching him and knocking him unconscious with his sweet dreams. The mane six and the Guardians rushed to The Sandman to reunite with him. "Oh, Sandy. We missed you so much." said Fluttershy as she hugs him. "Now, we're going to get good dreams from now on." said Applejack. Rainbow Dash saw what happened to Pitch and was laughing out loud. "Look at Pitch! He's out like a light!" she laughed. Jack laughed with her.

Everyone in Ponyville cheered for the Guardians and the mane six for defeating Pitch. "Look, Jack! Everyone loves you!" Pinkie shouted. "They sure do, and I've found my center." said Jack. "Indeed you did, Jack. And it suits you." said Twilight. "Yes, fun is a pretty good center for a Guardian." said North. "Well, speaking of fun. Think fast!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she threw a snowball at Jack. "Oh, its on!" Jack shouted as he threw a snowball at Rainbow Dash.

And then, everyone else joins in the snowball fight. While Sandy begins to create anything beautiful with his golden sand like rays, butterflies, and dinosaurs. "Whoa, that is cool." said Applejack. Sandy made an apple tree made out of golden sand just for her. "Aw, thanks Sandy." said Applejack.

When Pitch woke up, he was furious that everyone is happy instead of being scared. "No! No! You all need to be feared! I am the boogeyman! Fear me!" he shouted. But, the ponies don't see him anymore as they ran right through him. "No!" Pitch shouted as he holds himself.

The mane six and the Guardians confronted him once again as he make a run for it. But, Applejack stopped him with her rope. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked. "Leaving the party so soon?" North asked. "And you didn't even say goodbye." said Tooth as she gives Pitch a quarter. "A quarter?" Pitch asked. "Pinkie, will you do the honors?" Tooth asked. "Certainly." Pinkie replied as she punches the boogeyman in the face, knocking his tooth out. Pitch held his mouth in pain. "That's for kidnapping me!" Pinkie shouted. "And this is for trying to kill Jack!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she kicks Pitch in the stomach.

"There will always be fear." said Pitch. "So what? As long as one pony believes, we will always be there to protect that pony." said North. "Even if it's more than one." said Rarity. "And even if it's the mane six." said Bunny.

"Oh really? Then, what are they doing here?" Pitch asked as he gestures the nightmare horses. "Don't look at me, I'm not afraid." said Rainbow Dash. "Not me." said Applejack. "Me either." said Fluttershy. "It's your fear they're smelling." said Jack. "You better run for your life!" Pinkie shouted.

Soon after, the nightmare horses chased after Pitch and dragged him all the way down to his lair. "Oh my Celestia." Twilight muttered. "NOOOOOO!" Pitch shouted as he was locked away in his lair forever.

Pitch Black will no longer harm anyone in Equestria ever again.

After Pitch's defeat, the Man in the Moon appears and smiles down upon the mane six for saving the Guardians. "Hey, look. It's the Man in the Moon!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "He's thanking you ladies for saving us from Pitch. And also, bringing Jack Frost into our lives." said North.

Just then, Princess Celestia showed up as well as can be. "Princess Celestia! You're alright!" Twilight shouted as she embraces her mentor. "Indeed I am. I always knew I could count on you." Celestia said. "How's Luna? Is she doing any better?" Twilight asked. "She's doing much better now. And I told her everything about the Guardians." Celestia explained. "Did you tell her about Jack Frost?" Twilight asked. "Of course I did. She thinks he's wonderful." Celestia replied.

Pinkie laughed as she jumps onto Jack and hugs him tight. Jack laughed too and said, "Pinkie. You're such a hugger." "I can't help it. You're one of the best things that's ever happened to me!" Pinkie shouted as she continues to hug him.

"So, Jack. Are you ready to be an actual Guardian?" North asked. Jack puts Pinkie down and said, "I am." "Excellent. Now, I will give you the oath." said North as he brings out a huge book that represents guardianship. Everyone in Ponyville gathered around to witness Jack Frost becoming a Guardian, including the mane six and Princess Celestia.

"Will you, Jack Frost? Vow to watch over the ponies of Equestria? To guard with your life their hope, their wishes, and their dreams? For they are all that we have, all that we are, and all that we will ever be." North proposed. Jack turned around to see the mane six encouraging him to say yes. He smiled and said, "I will."

"Then, congratulations Jack Frost. You are now and forevermore a Guardian!" North shouted.

Everyone cheered for Jack as he is officially a Guardian. "JACK FROST! JACK FROST! JACK FROST!" everyone shouted. And some of the girls were squealing in delight and showed him signs with hearts on them. "We love you, Jack Frost!" the girls shouted. North laughed as he picks up Jack and gave kisses on both of his cheeks. "Aw, he's being adopted." said Applejack.

To celebrate Jack's guardianship, Sandy created fireworks made out of golden sand and let's it fall like snow. "Oh wow. Sandy, it's so beautiful." said Applejack. Sandy smiled at her and hugged her for saving his life. "You're welcome, Sandy." Applejack replied as she pats him on the back.

"Happy Easter, Fluttershy. I'll miss you." said Bunny as he gives her an Easter egg. "Oh, Bunny. It's so colorful." said Fluttershy. "It sure is. Easter is back in business, and all of my eggs will be bright and colorful again." said Bunny. "Maybe I'll help you next year." said Fluttershy. "I would like that very much, Fluttershy." said Bunny.

"Look, Tooth. Your fairies are back!" said Rarity as she sees all of Tooth's fairies free from Pitch's lair. Tooth gasped in glee and shouted, "My fairies!" She hugged them all like a mother worried about her babies. "Aw, they're so cute." said Rarity. "Thank you, Rarity. Thank you for everything." said Tooth as she hugs Rarity tight.

"Ah, Twilight! Come here, you!" North shouted as he picks her up and hugged her really tight. "North, can't breathe." said Twilight. "Oh, sorry." said North as he puts her down. "I guess you're thanking me again for conquering my fear and saving the Guardians." said Twilight. "That. But also, to give you this." said North as he gives her a magic button in case the Guardians are in need. "What's this?" Twilight asked. "It's a button for you to press in case you and your friends need us. Think of it as an early Christmas present." North replied. "Thank you, North. Thank you! Thank you!" said Twilight.

"So, Jack. You're officially a Guardian. How does it make you feel?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Honestly, I feel great. And I completely regret not accepting the moon's offer." said Jack. "But, you found your true purpose afterwards." said Rainbow Dash. "Yeah." said Jack.

After that, North's sleigh arrived and it looked good as new. "Everyone loves the sleigh." said Bunny. "Alright, Guardians! Time to go!" North shouted. "I guess I better get going." said Jack. "Wait. You're leaving already?" Twilight asked. "I have to. I'm a Guardian now and it's a big responsibility." Jack replied. "But, I thought you didn't want to leave Equestria." said Applejack. "You never liked responsibilities to begin with!" said Rainbow Dash. "What if we can't see you again?" Pinkie asked. "What if Pitch comes back and tries to hurt you again? Or worse?" Fluttershy asked. "Girls, calm down. I'll be fine. Besides, I have you and the Guardians by my side." Jack replied. "Oh, that's right." said Rainbow Dash. "And don't worry, you all will see me. As long as you believe." said Jack.

As he was about to leave, the mane six rushed towards him to give him a group hug. Jack hugged them back and gave each of them a kiss on the forehead. "We love you, Jack." said Twilight. "I love you guys, too." Jack replied. Princess Celestia smiled at the moment.

The Guardians took off as the mane six waved goodbye at them. "Bye, ladies! Be good this year!" North shouted. "I'll see y'all on Easter Sunday." Bunny shouted. "Take good care of your teeth!" Tooth shouted. Sandy waved goodbye with his sand.
