Twilight's Realm:Kanto Generation

Chapter 1 : Betrayal and Decision

"W-why did t-they betray m-me, w-w-what did I do to d-deserve this!" a female voice said revealing the speaker to be Twilight sparkle but emotionally broken looking as tears flowed down her cheeks as she thought back on what has happened.

Flashback

Twilight's brother Shining Armor was getting marry to Twilight's old Foalsitter Princess Cadance of the Canterlot. Twilight was delighted that she was going to have Cadence as her Sister-in-law, but Cadance wasn't herself and Twilight knew this.

Location: Royal Canterlot Kitchen

"Alright Cake, check. Ice sculpture, check. Best darn bite-size apple fritter you ever tasted…?" Applejack said stuffing an apple fritter into Twilight's mouth.

"Mmm. Check." Twilight said with a smile as she crossed it off the list. "Alright I think that everythi- O Hiya, Princess!" Applejack said as she and the other bakers began to bow as Candace came in.

"Please, call me Princess Mi Amore Cadenza." Cadence said sternly. Twilight just rolled her eyes at her statement, however Applejack just was undeterred as she fixed her mistake. "Oh, Hiya, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. You come to check out what's on the menu for your big day?" Applejack asked as Candace looked around with a small smile.

"I have!" Cadance said with a smile but quickly turned into a frown when Applejack's back was turned. Twilight noticed this right away and narrowed her eyes at the pink Alicorn, confused and suspicious knowing that Candace was more accepting and nice. Applejack then quickly grabbed a tray of apple fritters and presented them to Cadance who pick one up with a magic and quickly ate it.

"Delicious! I love-love-love them." Cadance said with a nervous laugh causing Applejack to cross her legs. "Aw, shucks. Why don't you take a few to go?" Applejack said giving a bag of fritters to Cadance. "I know how you brides can be. So busy, you forget to get a little somethin' in your belly." She said. Cadance accepted the fritter, but once again when Applejack's back was turned she threw the fritter in the trash. Twilight was shocked by what she had just seen.

Applejack, Did you see what she…" Twilight found she was talking to herself as Applejack and the other bakers continued to work.

"Why would she lie to Applejack like that." Twilight thought to herself before running to her next assignment.

Later...

"I don't really see a problem Darling." Rarity said working Cadance's wedding dress as Twilight paced "But Rarity, you should have seen how she acted back there. I don't know when she changed, but she changed! "Please, call me Princess Mi Amore Cadenza." Twilight said imitating Cadence. "Did I hear someone say my name?" Twilight and Rarity turn to see Cadance and her Bridesmaids walking in. Rarity stopped what she was doing and bowed.

"Your highness! Let me just start by saying what an honor it is to play a role in such a momentous occasion." Rarity said with a nervous chuckle.

"Uh-huh. Is my dress ready?" Cadance said pushing Rarity out of her way, really surprising Twilight 'Candace, you are never this pushy or rude' she thought as Rarity was undisturbed "Yes, of course, Um, I've been working on it ever since I was given the assignment, and I think you'll be pleased with the results!" Rarity said proudly showing the dress as Cadence wasn't impressed.

"I was hoping for something with more beading and a longer train." Candace said walking away as Rarity immediately grabbed a notepad and a quill. "Oh, yes, of course." She said writing down the princesses instructions. Cadence then walked over to her bridesmaid's dresses.

"And these should be a different color." She demanded, but her bridesmaid were against the idea.

"I think they're lovely." Twinkleshine said with a smile

"Me too!" Minuette said nodding her head.

"I love them." Lyra said as Cadance then glared at the three mares causing them all to look away in sadness as Twilight was more surprised.

"Make them a different color." Cadence demanded in a firm voice before walking out of the room. Rarity nodded and got right back to work, but Twilight on the other hoof.

"Gee, maybe her name should be "Princess Demandy-pants." She said before walking out of the room. Twilight really wasn't liking the way Cadance was treating her friends, just a few minutes ago she went with Cadence to check on Pinkie's end of the wedding party and Cadence just insulted Pinkie's Party saying it was more fit for a six year old's birthday party. Pinkie didn't mind the insult, but Twilight did and she was not happy 'Candace...why are you being this way?' she wondered.

After all was done for the day, the Mane Six decided to grab some drinks at a local café. "Bet I can guess what you're all thinking. Cadance is the absolute worst bride-to-be ever." Twilight said taking a seat next to Rarity. Everypony plus spike gave her a look of shock and confusion "Twilight, whatever are you talking about? Cadence is an absolute gem!" Rarity said before taking a sip of her juice surprising Twilight "Rarity, she was so demanding!" Twilight said "Well, of course she is! Why shouldn't she expect the very best on her wedding day?" Rarity said shrugging her shoulders as Twilight looked at Applejack "Applejack, did you know that after she told you how much she just 'love-love-loved' your hors d'oeuvres, she threw them in the trash?" Twilight asked.

"Aw, she was probably just trying to spare my feelin's." Applejack said before drinking here soda. Just then another golden portal opened up and the same shadowy figure was watching.

"So these are the other element bearers." The shadow said as he watched them carefully as Twilight continued to rant "No, she was just being fake and totally insincere!" Twilight said sternly as Fluttershy spoke up.

"She did raise her voice at one of my birds during rehearsal." Fluttershy said "See? Rude!" Twilight said crossing her hooves with a smile on her face "But he was singing really off-key." Fluttershy said as the bird in question landed of her hoof and began to sing very off-key as Twilight's jaw dropped "Oh come on! Rainbow Dash, you're with me, right?" Twilight said looking to the Element of loyalty for back-up.

"Sorry, Twi. Been too busy prepping for my sonic rainboom to pay much attention to the bride's bad attitude." Rainbow said stretching her wings and hooves. The shadowy figure didn't like that answer and neither did Twilight "UGH!" Twilight growled. Rarity then put a hoof on her shoulder "Twilight dear listen please, the princess is about to get married. I'm sure any negative behavior she might be displaying is simply the result of nerves." She said. Twilight then stood up and slammed a hoof on the table.

"And I'm sure it's the result of being an awful pony who doesn't deserve to even know Shining Armor, let alone marry him!" Twilight said angrily filled with protectiveness only a sister can have for her brother

"Twi don't you think you're being' just a tiny bit possessive of your brother?" Applejack asked. The rest of the mares and baby dragon agreed with only fueling Twilight's anger and the Shadowy figure saw this "How can they say that, they should at least give her the benefit of the doubt." The shadow said angrily, though none can hear it.

"I am not being possessive, and I am not taking it out on Cadance! You're all just too caught up in your wedding planning to notice that maybe there shouldn't even be a wedding!" Twilight said before stomping off "How can they not see how cruel she's acting, fine if they won't listen then I'll have to talk to Shining Armor. Hopefully he'll listen to me." Twilight thought said she headed to her brother room as the shadowy figure watched as Twilight head to her brother quarters and then back at her friends. "If these are the new element bearers I wonder how long Equestria will last, is isn't right something is going on here, I've meet Princess Cadance she has never acted like this before. Hmmm… I should stay close to just in case she's in danger." The Shadow said before closing the gold portal.

With Twilight she had just gotten to her brother's room only to walk in to see him talking to Cadance. "Oh Hey Twily, can you give us a minute." Shining asked Twilight nodded and left the room. "I said I like it and I think I should wear it." Shining said. Twilight heard this and decided to eavesdrop as she leaned close to the door, as another gold portal opened and the shadowy figure watched Twilight eavesdrop on her brother and Candace.

"Are you disagreeing with me?" Cadance asked sternly much to Shinings surprise at his future wife tone "I guess I a- AH!" Shining shouted as he grabbed his head in pain as Twilight and the shadow both saw this and they both had worried looks on their faces. "Oh dear, Are you getting another one of your headaches?" Cadance asked before she shot Shining with her magic causing his to turn green for a few seconds. Twilight and the Shadow both gasped at what they saw "W-What did you just do?" Twilight asked herself. The Shadowy figure on the other hoof knew exactly what was going on "I should have known, That's not Princess Cadance." The Shadow said angrily as the magic cleared "Feeling better now dear?" Cadance asked rubbing his neck as Shining stood up and nodded, but dazed.

"She isn't just unpleasant and rude. She's downright evil!" Twilight said before running out the door. Shining then walked over to the door only to see his sister running away much to his surprise "Twilight!" He shouted, but she ignored him and kept running as 'Candace' sawed this "Let her go, she'll be fine." Cadance said nuzzling Shining as Shining nodded dazed and distant eyed.

The Shadow was not happy with this turn of events. "This is bad, no calm down everything's going to be alright. Ms. Sparkle will gather her friends, tell Celestia and this whole mess will be over by tomorrow morning." The shadow said hopefully before closing the portal.

However Twilight was too late, Cadance had already gotten to her friends and made them the new bridesmaids for the wedding, each of them saying how amazing Cadance was and how Twilight was wrong about her as Twilight sawed this "I guess I really am on my own." Twilight said as a single tear fell from her eyes as she walked away as the shadow watched this.

Later in the Rehearsal room...

During the wedding rehearsal, everypony was taking their place for the wedding, but Shining raised an important question "Hey... has anypony seen Twilight?"He asked and just as he did the doors of the rehearsal room flung open, revealing an angry Twilight "I'm here! I'm not gonna stand next to her! And neither should you!" She shouted. Just then a golden portal opened up and the shadowy figure watched in silence.

"I'm sorry, I... I don't know why she's acting like this." Shining said with a nervous chuckle as Candace gave a secret look "Maybe we should just ignore her." Cadance said Harshly, Twilight glared at the pink alicorn "You have to listen to me!" Twilight said angrily making her friends worry for her "Oh, goodness! Are you okay?" Fluttershy said with concern in her voice as Twilight took a deep breath "I'm fine, but I've got something to say! She's evil!" Twilight said pointing at Cadence. Everypony in the room was shocked by what she had just said, but Shining Armor wasn't buying it and stood in front of Cadence defending her.

"She's been horrible to my friends, she's obviously done something to her bridesmaids, and if that wasn't enough, I saw her put a spell on my brother that made his eyes go green." Twilight said still glaring at the alicorn who sprouted tears Why are you doing this to me?!" Cadence said as she ran away in tears "Because you're evil!" Twilight said with smile proud of the relevance of the deceit, she hopped...but to no avail.

"Twilight why did you do that" Her brother demanded as he walked over to his sister with a firm tone "Because she cast a spell on you, she's evil" Twilight said "Evil?!" said Shining armor clutching his head which was in pain worrying Twilight "Candace hasn't been casting spells on me *shakes off the pain and glares* She's been using her magic to heal me!" He said. This information shocked Twilight, but before she could say anything Shining continued his rant.

The shadowy figure only growled at this, but kept his cool and continued to watch "She's been completely stressed out because it's really important to her that our big day be perfect! Something that obviously wasn't important to you! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and comfort my bride. And you can forget about being my best mare. In fact, if I were you, I wouldn't show up to the wedding at all." Shining said turning his back to Twilight and leaving the rehearsal room.

Twilight friends and Princess Celestia were not happy with her"C'mon, y'all. Let's go check on the princess." Applejack said as she the others to check on Cadence, as Spike took a few seconds to look at Twilight, sad and a bit sorry...but stepped out as Twilight was just stunned that they didn't believe her as Twilight try to talked to Princess Celestia "but..." she started but Celestia just gave her a look "You have a lot to think about" she said harshly as she walked out as Twilight was alone. Not only did she lose her brother, but she also lost her friends and lost Princess Celestia's trust. Twilight was in tears and teleport back to Ponyville library, with magic deep inside she didn't realized she has.

The shadowy figure was beyond angry not just because "Cadance" fooled them all, but all of Twilight's friends and her Mentor turned against her "How could they…...How dare they do that and they call themselves the Bearers of Harmony, what a joke." The shadow said angrily. "She didn't deserve that, she deserves 's time I intervene." The shadow said before closing the portal.

End of Flashback

Back at the library after her teary rant Twilight decided to get a drink of water to calm her nerves as she walked downstairs from her room to the lower area, however as she came downstairs, she noticed the Elements of harmony as she look at them with disgust, not noticing that they lost there shine "Magic of friendship huh ?" said Twilight furiously as she blasted the elements into millions of pieces with a powerful blast of magic from her horn as they were reduced to fragments "Magic my flank!" sobbed Twilight as tears stream from her eyes as she got her drink Twilight went to her bed and cried herself to sleep as suddenly a light enveloped around Twilight's body as she disappeared, while the elements of harmony fragments...vanished.

As the light died down, Twilight's body was now in a strange Ruin like area "Hello there young one" said as sweet majestic voice making her wake up to see a weird creature floating in the room as she was in awe at the creature. She had studied lots of different animals and monsters, but she never seen such a creature like this. She also took note that she wasn't in the golden oak library, but in a ruin like chamber.

"W-who are you? What are you?" she asked Wiping away her tears as the creature seemed to smile in its own way "I'm Arceus the legendary alpha Pokemon" he/she said as Twilight was amazed and confused "What's a Pokemon" she asked curiously as Arceus smiled "Pokemon are strange and unique creatures with mystical power that live in different places. For some people, Pokémon are pets. Other use them for fights to create stronger bonds. I am the ruler of this world as you can see." as she showed portals, windows of strange two legged creatures or humans playing and battling with pokemon as Twilight was in awe.

"The world you come from, you're from another world? Oh my gosh this is so amazing….Wait you're the ruler of your world? " Twilight asked before bowing as Arceus chuckled "Rise Twilight Sparkle, you need not bow to me.I'm guessing you are wondering why I'm here" said Arceus as Twilight nodded "I'm a friend of Princess Celestia's from another world." said Arceus as Twilight was shocked. She didn't know Princess Celestia made a friend from another world.

"Me and Celestia meet long a ago around your age, we were great friends." said Arceus with hint of sadness something Twilight noticed "What happen ?" asked Twilight "I was in love with Celestia, but she only saw me as a friend" said Arceus sadly looking a way as Twilight felt a little sorry for the alpha Pokemon. she knew how hard it was win Celestia's heart "I have kept on eye on my world and on Celestia and I'm very disappointed with her right now on how she treated you and betrayed you as well as the others ." said Arceus with a hint of anger at her old friend.

Twilight face darken as a tear stream from her eye she quickly wipe it so Arceus won't see it "I am very cross with them, what they did is unforgivable that is why I'm giving you an decision." said Arceus as she turned to look at her as Twilight looked up at him/her

"What kind of Decision?" asked Twilight suspiciously"I offer you a chance to venture in the world of Pokemon, Become the best, make new friends both human and Pokemon and become my student! " said Arceus proudly "For you see I been watching a boy who happens to be my chosen one and he will turn ten, he will start his Pokemon Journey, Tomorrow, He help you mend your heart and show you true magic of friendship and maybe a little more." he said with a knowing look as Twilight blushed when she heard this.

She thought about Arceus offer, wouldn't her friends and family worry about her Then she takes a look at the shatter pieces of the elements of harmony which were in the room with them as her answer came right there and then. Her friends and Brother didn't care about her or her feelings, and wouldn't even listen to her or her options.

Celestia didn't really care about her as now she thought about it, the only real reason she took her as her student was to save her sister, and what did she get after saving her...a thank you and sweet lies about 'friendship', And her brother had no problem with stripping her title of best mare and basically banishing her from his wedding, None of them cared, they were tricked and sucked into this...sham of a wedding...and never listens to her "All they cared about was the bucking wedding." growled Twilight angry at what happened as Twilight decide to go take Arceus offer as she then remembered that she didn't destroyed the element of Magic. She ran to a chest she hid underneath her and found the crown. A tears stream down Twilight's face and growled angrily "Looks likes Equestria is on its own without my element." sneered Twilight as she tossed it away, the gem on the crown turning fully black as she came back downstairs where Arceus was "I would like to take your offer and venture in the world of Pokemon and would honor of being your Student." said Twilight bowing to the alpha Pokemon.

Arceus smiled and nodded, as he began to glow once again, as just then, a golden portal opened behind Twilight. "Just step through the portal Ms. Sparkle and your journey will begin." He said. Twilight looked at the portal and smiled a bit. As she turn around and walked to the portal memories started flooding in her mind on how she meet the main five and how they defeated Nightmare moon together with the power of friendships, She then remember how they defeated discord, they nearly fail their mission to stop him if it weren't for Twilight's quick thinking and getting the elements bearer back together. Those were the greatest moment of her life until now, everypony didn't care about her or suspicion which mean the main five didn't represent their elements, or Shining armor doing his royal job of Captain of the Royal Guards or Princess Celestia doing her job of protecting or ruling Equestria...they were lies, and just false hoods.

A small tear stream down Twilight's face once again "Good bye Equestria." mumbled Twilight as she then got worried and panicked on one last thing "Wait what is the boys name?" said Twilight in a panicked tone as Arceus smiled sweetly "his name is Ash Ketchum" was all that Twilight heard before Arceus vanished.

Twilight just stood there for a few minutes as she processed the name as she passed through the portal 'Ash Ketchum huh?' she thought as the light enveloped her pony body as she vanished.

And done.

Hey everybody True master,

Ok so Kanto was busted because I couldn't find away to put Twilight in all this. So I decide to do the Johto region and work my way up. I will only be doing the episodes I like from each series so please go easy on me.

I'm still putting Flash sentry and Sunset Shimmer in the story. I maybe even thinking putting a human version of Trixie in the Unova saga.

Orange Island: Snorlax, 2x Lapras, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Lugia

Now these are the Pokemon has during his Journey, Now before you comment on the team, This is my version on what Ash has on his team. As for the legendarys, he would use unless its a strong opponent and/or the Pokemon League. Also Ash got an actual starter Pokemon which was Charmander.

I mean Squritle is great Pokemon with balance and everything, But I think Charmander suit Ash better after all the adventure and battle he had with him.

Chapter 2: The Rival Revival, Pokeboy meets Equestria Girl.

Three months later...

Narrator: With his Journey in the Orange Island behind, Ash is returning to the place where his pokemon journey began.

Well there's Pallet town, We finally made it home Pikachu." said Ash.

"Pika Pika." said the electric mouse.

"You remember Pallet town too, Right Togepi?" said Ash holding his baby spike ball pokemon.

"Togeprrrrrriii ! chirped the baby pokemon.

"Just being here is like a dream come true for me." said Tracey " I can't wait to meet the famous Professor Oak."

"Let's go to my house for lunch." said Ash " Then we go to Professor Oak and you can show him your sketches.

"That's a great idea Ash." said Misty.

"Alright Ash." said Tracey who agreed.

They all ran to Ash's house. Little did they know a certain balloon Pokemon was following them. Soon they saw Ash's house in the distance.

"I can't wait to see the look on my Mom's face." said Ash excitedly.

He ran to house and up to the front door. He took a deep breath and open the front door.

"Surpise." said Ash.

"Is that you Ash? said a familar voice

Ash look surpised and ran to the kitchen and ther was his best friend Brock.

"He baccck." shouted Ash.

"Who's he?" asked Tracey.

"H-he's Brock." said Misty who just as shocked as Ash.

"Hey how are doing Misty?" asked Brock

"What do you mean how am I doing." said Misty angrily.

"You must be Tracey." said Brock

"Yeah that's me." said Tracey awkwardly.

"Well how about a nice cup of tea." said Brock holding a tea cup and plate and a tea pot.

"Brock, what are you doing here in Pallet town?" asked Misty once more.

"Yeah Brock, What happen to you and Professor Ivy." asked Ash.

Suddenly the whole room turned cold as Brock slumped to the floor.

"Uhh that name." mumbled Brock in his beetle postition.

"She musted of dumped him." said Misty.

"Huh?" said Tracey.

Ash and Misty sigh.

"You're finally home." said a Familiar voice.

Ash turned around to see his Mom Delia ketchum and Mr Mime at the door.

"Hey Mom." said Ash giving his Mom a hug.

"Hello sweetie." said Delia "How are doing Pikachu and Togepi."

"Pika Pika." repiled Pikachu

"Togeprrrri." said the spike Pokemon.

"Hello Mrs. ketchum, nice to see again." said Misty.

"Nice to see you too Misty." said Deila. " and you must be Tracey."

"Nice to meet too." said Tracey.

Misty asked Delia how long has Brock been in Pallet town. She told them about week ago after finding him and try to ask him about Professor Ivy, But he didn't want to talk about it.

"Beside that I also have another guest, who want to meet you Ash." said Delia

"Me?" puzzled Ash. "About what?"

"Well she said she was looking for you after we found her outside of Pallet town." said Delia.

"Mrs. Ketchum, I mangaed to finish some the chores Brock gave me." said an unfamiliar voice.

Ash turned around to see a girl around the same age as him. She had Purple hair with Pink Highlights. She wore a purple sleeveless shirt showing a little bit of her cleveage, a purple skirt with her cutie mark on it and pair of violet boots.

Ash could help but blush when he saw her. He felt his heart pounding hard in his chest.

"Thank you, Twilight." said Delia.

Twilight then looked at the raven hair boy who was staring at her.

Ash flinched and looked away. she could help but giggle. she was still getting use to her new human body.

"Hello you must be Ash, I'm Twilight Sparkle." said Twilight as she bows and curtsy to Ash.

"Um the pleasure is all mine." said Ash as he bow politely to girl.

"Your mother told me all about you, it's so nice to meet you." she said.

"Thank you Twilight." said Ash

Soon everybody was enjoying a nice lunch. Ash and Twilight were having a great conversation. Ash talked about his journey from the Kanto region to the Orange Island and How he made it to the final in the Indigo Plateau and then became the new Champion of the Orange Island.

Twilight was amazed with Ash on how much he accoplished during his Journey.

While everybody ate Ash could help but notice that Twilight hardly took a bite out of her food.

"Hey Twilight, is everything ok." asked Ash.

"Yeah everythings ok." said Twilight with a fake smile.

"So Ash, can we go see Professor Oak please?" asked Tracey.

"Geez I forgot." said Ash. I got to get this GS ball to Professor Oak right away." said Ash.

"Here mom, this is the Orange Island trophy I won at Orange Island championship." said Ash. "I want you to have it.

"Ash, it's beautiful." said Delia

Soon the gang was on the way to Professor Oak's lab.

"Hey Ash." said Twilight.

"Yes Twilight." said Ash.

What does Professor Oak do?" she asked.

"He's a Pokemon researcher and so he studies alot about Pokemon." said Ash. "He also sponors new beginnier Trainer who want to start their Pokemon Journey and has one of the best labs."

"Wow that's amazing." said Twilight. "I bet you study alot about Pokemon too."

"That's right, I studied ever since I was five years old and also became one of Professor Oak's Junior Assistant."

"Really amazing." said Twilight.

Ash blush and rubbed the back of his head.

Misty noticed how much Ash was paying attention towards this girl and she was upset. She felt a little pain in her heart, but trys to ignore it.

When They got to the lab, they found professor oak being smother by Ash's Muk.

"Professor, are you ok." asked Ash who trying to get Muk off him.

"Yes I'm alright, I was just finish feeding your Muk." replied the Professor.

Tracey introudce himself to Professor Oak and asked if he would interesting looking at his sketches.

Of course Tracey, but first Ash, do you have the GS ball?" asked Professor Oak.

"Yes, here it is." said Ash heading over the GS ball to the Professor.

"Thank you." said Professor Oak. Then he notice Twilight looking around the lab.

"Wow Look at all thes machine." Twilight gushed with sparkle in her eyes. "Technology is so awesome in this world."

"What do you mean by that." asked Misty suspiciously.

Twilight flinched and try to cover up her mistake.

"Well I just amazed, Because I'm not around from here." chuckled Twilight nervously.

Misty narrowed her eyes at Twilight, so she decide to let it slide.

Tracey looked out the window and saw all lot of Pokemon roaming the field.

"Wow that's alot of Pokemon." said Tracey.

"Most of these Pokemon belong to traveling trainers who just started their journey in Pallet town." said Professor Oak.

Tracey couldn't wait to sketch them.

Ash released his starter Charizard, Wartorle, Eevee, Alakazam and Hitmonlee out of their Pokeballs and let them roam abit. all of Ash's Pokemon came to delighted to be with him at once

Twilight was amazed at all the Pokemon Ash had. She noticed that Ash was interacting with a orange pokemon that looked like a dragon.

"Wow Ash, this is your starter Pokemon." asked Twilight.

"Yep I raised him from a Charmander, he's prolobaly one my strongest and my number one partner ." said Ash rubbing his Pokemon on his neck. Pikachu jumped on his shoulder and rubbed his cheek on his trainer's face.

Twilight smile and watch the bond bewteen the three friends. Then she remember Spike, her number one assistant and friend. Unfortunely he along with her other friends abondon her in the wedding rehearsal room.

Tears started to stream down her cheek.

"Twilight, are you ok." asked Ash who was looking at her.

Twilight looked up and noticed everyone including Charizard and Pikachu looking her alittle worry.

"Well the thing is -" before Twilight could finish her sentence, there was a rumbling noise. A huge tent was surrounding the corral.

It was all Team Rocket's doing. They planned to steal all the Pokemon at the lab and they covered the whole tent so no one escape.

"Now we're taking all the Pokemon that belonged at corral." said Meowth

"Why not be easy and hand them all over." said Jessie.

"Forget about it. said Ash

"We'll have to take them by force." said Jessie throwing two pokeball and releasing her lickitung and Arbok.

Jame also threw two Pokeballs releasing his Victreebel and Weezing.

Seeing Arbok, Twilight became paraylsis with fear. she had phobia of snake ever since her filly days.

Misty noticed her backing away.

"What's wrong with you?" asked Misty

"I-I h-have a f-f-fear of s-s-snaaaakkkkkkeeee!" screamed Twilight.

Everybody looked at Twilight who was pale and shaking with fear.

Jessie smirked and thought she use this to their advantage.

"Arbok use Wrap on the purple hair twerp." shouted Jessie.

The cobra pokemon was about to wraped his long tail around Twilight, when a flamethrower, psybeam and thunderbolt knocked it out.

Everbody including team rocket looked at Ash who's eye went red with anger.

"I will not allow you to any of my friend including Twilight." shouted Ash.

Twilight looked at Ash with amazment. Arceus was right about him, he really does care for his frends no matter what.

Twilight blushed and held her hands on her chest as she felt it pounding hard. she didn't know why but it felt good.

Misty notice Twilight blushing and couldn't help but feel angry. but she didn't know why.

Jessie was fuming with anger since Ash knocked out her Arbok.

You'll pay for twerp, Lickitung use lick attack."shouted Jessie.

"Alakzam use protect, then use Psychic." shouted Ash.

Lickitung unleashed it's slubbery tongue at the psi pokemon. But Alakzam protected it's with a shield and released a powerful psychic which froze Lickitung.

"Now use Psybeam." shouted Ash.

Alakzam released a poweful colored beam towards Lickitung which knocked it out cold.

"Victreebel use sleep powder attack." shouted James

"Burn it up with flamethrower, Charizard." shouted Ash

Victreebel released a cloud of blue powder toward the Pokemon, But Charizard unleashed a powerful stream of flames which scorched the powder into dust.

"Now use Dragon claw." shouted Ash

Charizard's claws extends and gloweds green while slashing into it's oppoents.

"Weezing use smog attack." shouted James

Weezing releases a green cloud towards the Pokemon.

"Charizard blow away that smog attack." shouted Ash.

Charizard used it's huge wings to blow the smog away.

"Now let's send them flying, Pikachu use thunderbolt." shouted Ash.

Pikachu released a poweful thunderbolt which sends Team rocket flying.

"Team Rockets blasting off again!" they shouted as disappear into the sky.

"Good job you guys." Ash complimented to his Pokemon.

Charizard, Alakzam and Pikachu roared with approval.

"Thank you Ash, you did a fine job." said Professor Oak

"Thanks Professor, but my Pokemon deserve most of the credit." said Ash.

"You did a great job in training your Pokemon." said Misty.

"Yeah your a really strong trainer." said Brock

"I agree." said a familiar voice.

Everbody turned a around to a mysterious person with a Nidoqueen standing right beside him.

The person was none other then Gary Oak.

" Gary." said Ash who was surpised to his rival.

"Hey Ashy-boy, I see you got stronger." said Gary.

"Yeah I have and I won the Orange Island champion and won the winners trophy." said Ash

"Impressive, but I've become a much better trainer." sneered Gary

"That's true, But I made it to the final of Pokemon league." Ash smirked. " though I could say the same to you."

"Gary growl underath his breath, he want to show Ash just how strong he really was.

"Then why don't you prove it by having a Pokemon battle with me." shouted Gary

"I accept." said Ash confidently.

Everybody was shocked. they knew Ash was pretty strong trainer, but Gary was also had the same training expercine as Ash.

Twilight was worried she had heard about Ash's rival. he liked brag a lot and like to look down on some the trainer who won't better then him.

"Maybe we should choose one Pokemon each and have a one on one battle to the finish." sneered Gary.

"That's fine with me." said Ash.

He was about send Pikachu to battle when Eevee jump on infront of the field ready to battle.

Everyone was suprised but not Ash. he had started training Eevee while he was on his journey to the Orange Island and he had to admit even she was small, but she was really strong.

"You're going battle with Eevee." asked Gary

"I am." said Ash confidently

" Fine then have it your way." said Gary "I choose you!"

What Gary released from his pokeball was also an Eevee.

"Those Eevee are so cute." said Twilight

"Looks can be deciving." said Brock

Misty and Twilight looked at Brock confused.

"See their shiny coat and their bright eyes." said Brock anaylsising the Eevee. " Ash and Gary raised them very well.

"Yeah Brock's right." said Tracey. I bet their ready to evolve into Flaeron, Jolteon or Vaporeon.

"Alright I think we should get this battle started." said Brock walking into the center of the field.

"This is a one on one battle, Ash vs Gary with no time limits." said Brock. "Begin the battle now.

Both Eevees glared at each other ready to fight.

"Eevee start the battle with Quick attack." shouted Ash

Eevee start sprinting towards Gary's Eevee with great speed.

"Eevee reflected attack." shouted Gary.

A golden sheld appear surronding Eevee raising it's defence.

Ash saw this and knew what to do.

"Eevee use swift attack and add it with a spin." called Ash

Eevee stop in it's tracks and spun around unleashing a barrage of stars which caused massive damage to Gary's Eevee.

"Eevee Take down attack." shouted Gary

Eevee charged toward Ash's Eevee.

"Eevee agility now." shouted Ash

Eevee started to dissappearing and reappearing in different places making it hard for Gary's Eevee to land a hit.

Gary gritted his teeth, He could believe Ash was countering every move he threw.

"Eevee skull bash now." shouted Gary.

Eevee started to glow white around it's body and charged towards Ash's Eevee.

"Eevee finish with Double-edge."

Ash's Eevee charge and rammed into Gary's Eevee with great force sending it flying.

Both Eevee were exshused and they were refusing to give up. But Gary's Eevee went down after taking much damage from the battle.

"Gary's Eevee is unable to battle, Ash's Eevee wins." shouted Brock.

Gary couldn't believe it, Ash actually beat him.

Twilight was amazed by the battle.

"Wow that was a great battle." she mumbled to herself.

Gary return Eevee to his pokeball and praise it for great battle.

Ash started petting Eevee and praised it for a job well done.

"I'm impress Ash, you really have gotten stronger." said Gary.

"Thanks Gary, That mean alot to me." said Ash who petting Eevee.

"The next time we meet, I'll win for sure." said Gary. "Later Gramps."

And with Gary left.

Later Professor Oak was trying to solve the mystrey of the GS ball with his scanners. But he couldn't come up with the answer. He was stump.

"Any new about the GS ball, Professor." asked Tracey

"No I'm afraid not, and I have to admitt I didn't think it would be so diffucult." said Professor.

"Professor." called Ash

"Ash, what is it?"

"Is it true, what Misty said about Gary going on another adventure." asked Ash.

"That's right, That's why he has been training so hard lately." replied the Professor

"To where?"

"He's heading west to Johto region."

"The Johto region" said Ash a little Puzzle.

"The johto region has a very challenging league, Trainers have battle and win badge at the numerous Gym in the western territory to quilify for championship." said Professor Oak.

"Gary is planning to battle as many other trainers as he can to become a stronger trainer with all the experince he has."

'Hmmmm, if Gary is going to the Johto region, then I should too.' thought Ash.

Then he noticed that Twilight was missing.

"Hey where'd Twilight go." asked Ash

"Why do you want know." asked Misty angrily

"What's the matter with you." asked Ash.

Misty looked away and huffed.

Brock and Tracey looked at each other and could see what's going on. Misty had feeling for Ash and she want to tell him how she feels. but now Ash was more interested in this Twilight girl and he just met her.

"Twilight is in my library ." said Oak. " she said she wanted to study for a bit."

"I see, I'll go check her." said Ash and left with Pikachu by his side.

Misty was fumming. what did he see in Twilight and not her.

Ash enter Professor oak's library and found Twilight with alot of books around her.

"Twilight." he said.

Twilight looked up from the book and saw Ash walking towards her.

"Oh hey Ash." said Twilight. "I just finish reading of one of the books that I borrowed from Professor Oak."

"I see, so are you become a Pokemon trainer too." asked Ash.

"Maybe I don't know." asked Twilight. "Ash what made you want to become a Pokemon trainer.

"Because my dream is to become a Pokemon master." said Ash "To be the best of the best, like no one ever was."

Little did they know Misty was listening in on their conversion.

"I see, But I don't know if that's right for me." said Twilight a little unsure of herself.

"Why not, Batting is the best way to bond with your Pokemon." said Ash. "that how Charizard, Pikahcu and Me are so close with each other.

Twilight thought for second, maybe she show her former friends and teacher how strong she could be if she won the johto league.

Then Twilight made a decsision.

"You know what, I want to become a Pokemon trainer and enter the johto league." said Twilight with new determanation.

"Really, that's great." said Ash. When we get to johto league, we'll be rival."

"That's just fine with me." said Twilight.

Suddenly Ash remember something.

"Hey Twilight, why were you crying?" asked Ash."

Twilight looked down and sigh.

"Ash, remember how I said I wasn't around from here." said Twilight.

Ash nodded.

"Well it's lot more diffucult to explained you see..."

Twilight explained to Ash about everything. from her origin to her brother's wedding and her betrayal.

"And after I confronted her, My brother stripped my postion as brides maid and kicked me out of the wedding. My friends left me anf My teacher Princess Celestia said I had a lot to think about." Twilight cried as tears stream fro her eyes.

Ash was surpised and shocked. he didn't know Twilight suffer so much. Her friend, her brother and her teacher didn't deserves to treat her like this.

Twilight contiune crying when she felt a warm embraced. she looked up to see Ash hugging her.

"I'm sorry for your loose, Twilight." said Ash

"Y-you actually b-beli-eve me." said Twilight wiping her tears.

"Of course I do, there no way somebody could make up a story like that." said Ash.

Twilight blushed, her heart was pounding in her chest and she didn't know why.

"How about you come with me on my journey to the Johto region." asked Ash.

"Sure Ash, I love too." said Twilight

"That's Great, Let's tell the other about." said Ash

"No need." said a voice

Ash and Twilight look at the doorway to see Brock, Misty, Tracey and Professor Oak standing there.

"You guys heard the whole thing." asked Ash.

"We did and I must said Twilight that's quite a story." said Professor Oak. "So what your saying is true, you need to learn more about the Pokemon world if you want to be a Pokemon trainer."

"Why don't stay here for the night." offered Professor Oak. " Seeing you like to study lot, I can teach you the baisc way of becoming a Pokemon trainer."

"Thank you Professor, I really appericated it." said Twilight.

"Ash since you're going to est to the johto region, I want you to deliver the GS ball to a friend of mine name Kurt who was is a Pokeball inventor." said Professor Oak.

"Ok Professor, Also I will leave all my Pokemon accept for Charizard, Pikachu, Eevee and Togepi and start my johto journey with a batch of new Pokemon.' said Ash.

Professor Oak thought that was a great idea and gave Ash and Twilight a brand new Pokedex.

Twilight was confused about the device. Ash told her it was an encolopdia on different types of Pokemon. It was also was her ID.

Twilight was amazed by this information.

"Technologhy is so awesome." Twilight gushed.

Ash and other said good bye to Professor Oak and Twilight and left for Ash's house.

That night Twilight stay up all night studying about how to be a great Pokemon trainer and wrote down notes in a Journal that the Professor gave her. She study so much that she fell fast asleep.

The next morning Twilight got up and realised that it was morning. She got up and found Professor Oak and Tracey getting ready to give the Pokemon breakfast.

"Ah Twilight, Glad you're up." said Professor Oak. "Are you ready to start your Pokemon Journey."

"Yes I'am." said Twilight

"Before you do that, Delia want you to have this new outfit for Journey." said Tracey handing Twilight a box.

"Thanks Tracey, I'll make sure I'll thank Mrs Ketchum when I see her." said Twilight.

After Twilight got washed up, she put on her outfit. She wore a purple t-shirt with a pink vest over it, a purple skirt. She also wore a purple sun hat with a bow in it.

She came into the room where Professor Oak had the three starter Pokemon ready for her to choose.

"Twilight in order to go on your Pokemon Journey, you'll need a starter Pokemon for your Partner." said Professor Oak. " You have the choice between Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squritle."

Twilight looked at the starters, they all look so cute. she took out her pokedex to anaylsis them.

"Bulbasaur the seed pokemon, It bears the seed of a plant on its back from birth. The seed slowly develops. Researchers are unsure whether to classify Bulbasaur as a plant or animal. Bulbasaur are extremely calm and very difficult to capture in the wild."

"Interesting." said Twilight. She then went to the next one.

"Charmander the lizard Pokemon, Charmander, the Lizard Pokémon. Charmander's health can be gauged by the fire on the tip of its tail, which burns intensely when it's in good health."

"Fasanating." Twilight said and went to the last starter Pokemon.

"Squirtle, the Tiny Turtle Pokémon. During battle, Squirtle hides in its shell that sprays water at its opponent whenever it can."

"Amazing." said Twilight.

After she finish anaylsising them, she made her decide.

"I'll go with Bulbasaur." said Twilight picking up the seed Pokemon.

"Great choice, it's easy to raise." said Professor Oak. " Here is Bulbasaur's Pokeball, you'll need it for your Journey."

"Thanks you Professor." said Twilight as she returned Bulbasaur to his pokeballs

After getting everything she need including a new laptop, Twilight meet up with Ash and his friends.

"So you're ready to go, Twilight." asked Ash.

"I'm ready." said Twilight.

"Make sure you work together and help each other." said Professor Oak.

"And Ash don't forget to change your you know what." said Delia

"I won't." said Ash who was blushing with embrassment

And with that they left.

"Ash, thank you for everything." said Twilight, she gave him a quick peck on his cheek.

Ash blushed a deep shade of red. Misty glared at Twilight. How dare she kiss the boy she had a crush.

Twilight knew one thing. she was going to have a great adventure, meet new friends and new rivals and new Pokemon.

Meanwhile in Equestria, a certain purple dragon was still thinking for what he did to Twilight and how much he regret it. he want to aplogize, but she was no where to be found.

"I-I so sorry T-Twilight." he mumbled and went to sleep.

Hey everybody True Master here

So I been getting some reviews and question about what's happening in the Canterlot wedding. I will said this one more time, I'm working on the main story for right now. I will do a mini story about what's happening with Twilight's friends, her Brother and Princess Celestia so please stop asking.

In this chapter Twilight will meet her first rival, as well as her feeling for Ash will start to grow. I been wondering if somebody can work on a manga verison of My story on devianart, I would really appreciate it.

Also I'm working on a new Pokemon/MLP crossover story featuring Ash and The Equestria Girls. So please stay tune.

With further ado, here's Chapter 3. Hope you like it

Twilight's Realm: Johto Generation

Chapter 3: Don't Touch That Dile, Twilight's New Rival

Narrator: Once again, Our Heroes have left the comforts of Pallet town behind with a new travel companion from the world of Equestria. Now Ash, Twilight and their friends head to New bark town and the Johto league. Well Maybe?

Ash, Twilight and their friends were walking through a deep forest, they had been walking for hours. Mist was everywhere.

"This mist is so misty, it's hard to tell where were going." said Brock

Twilight was holding on to Ash's hand so she wouldn't get separate.

"So what now? Asked Twilight "Even with the map Professor Oak gave, we wouldn't be able to find New bark town in this."

Suddenly Togpei jumped out of Ash's arm and walked down the path by herself. Pikachu follow her so she would get into trouble. The gang follow the Pokemon, but then they saw a beautiful blue Pokemon on a lake.

"Wow Look at that." said Misty

Twilight stared at the creature with wonder.

"I wonder who that is?" thought Twilight.

Suddenly the wild Pokemon notice their presence and ran off into the woods.

Twilight didn't want the creature leave, she wanted to know more about.

"Wait come back" called Twilight. She was so busy trying to catch the wild Pokemon that she slid down the hill.

"Twilight." called Ash and slid down the hill after her.

Misty and rock slid after them too. When they reached the bottom, they found Twilight on the ground rubbing her butt.

"Twilight, are you ok." asked Ash checking her all over for any injures.

"I'm fine just a little sore." replied Twilight with a light blush on face.

Misty was watching Ash and Twilight interact with each other. She was feeling jealous but was to stubborn to at admit it.

"Hey The mist is clearing up." said Brock. Let's keep going in case the mist comes back."

"Fine with me." said Misty in huff and walked further down the road. Ash, Brock and Twilight were puzzled by Misty's behavior.

Meanwhile Misty was upset. Why was Ash giving all his attention on Twilight and not her. She knew Ash better then Twilight did.

Suddenly she came to a sign. The sign says 'New Bark Town. Soon Ash, Twilight and Brock caught up with Misty.

"So this is New Bark town." said Ash with the wind whistling through his hair.

"Ash" muttered Twilight.

Her heart was pounding in her chest. She start to have a warm feeling inside her, she didn't know why but it felt nice

"Let's go to the Pokemon center, so I can register for the Johto league." said Ash.

Twilight still remember what Ash said to her about Pokemon battles are the best way to bond with your Pokemon. She released Bulbasaur and stared at it.

"You want to get stronger don't you." said Twilight.

The grass pokemon smiled and nodded it head. Twilight smiled, she knew what she want to do.

"Hey Ash." said Twilight

"Yeah Twilight?" said Ash.

Twilight blushed and shuffled her feet a little.

"I decide to enter the Johto league too, I want to be the first ever female Pokemon master." said Twilight

Ash and the other were shocked by this.

Ash smile at Twilight. At first he was wondering if Twilight was going to enter the Pokemon league with him. But he see that she was getting more confident during this journey.

He was still mad that Twilight's original friends would abandon her for someone they just met. If he ever meets them, he was going to give them one heck of a Pokemon battle they'll never forget.

Ash gave Twilight a hug. Twilight was surprised by this and blushed bright red. Misty was furious. How dare Ash hug this girl.

Brock on the other hand was crying silently. He was happy that Ash was interested in Girl, but was jealous that it didn't happen to him.

"Twilight, If that's your decision I'll help in anyway I can." said Ash with a wink.

"T-Thank you Ash." said Twilight with her blush getting brighter.

"Alright that's enough." shouted Misty who could take it any more. "Let's get to the Pokemon center so we can get you both register."

Misty stomped all the way to the Pokemon center.

Ash was wondering why Misty was behaving so badly.

Soon they made it to the Pokemon center. But Nurse Joy was no there. A Chansey played a message from Nurse Joy saying that she is at Professor Elm's lab and wouldn't be back until 2:00 that afternoon.

"That's funny." said Misty looking at the clock. "she said 2:00, but now it's 3:30."

"Maybe something happen at lab." said Twilight. "I think we should go their see what the problem is."

When they arrived, they saw police cars and Officer Jenny was checking the lab.

"Excuse me, but's what going on here Officer Jenny." asked Ash.

"Officer Jenny?" said Twilight who was puzzled.

"Some thevies had stolen a pokemon from Professor elm's lab." said Jenny.

After Office Jenny explained everything they found Nurse Joy and Professor Elm inside the lab.

"The pokemon that the theives stolen was a pokemon which was supposed to be a new starter pokemon for tomorrow." she said

"I hope that Totodile is ok." said Nurse joy.

"Totodile is one of the Johto starter right?" said Ash. He had stuided on all the starter Pokemon in each region.

"why yes." said Professor Elm. In his arms was a blushish-green and cream colored that looked like a mole.

"Hey that's a cyndaquil." said Ash. "Johto's fire starter.

"That's also correct." said Professor Elm. "You see I give new starter Pokemon for beginnier trainers. I give them a Cyndaquil a fire type, Totodile a water type or a Chikorita a grass type." He show them three picture of the starter.

"Wow I didn't know there were other starter Pokemon beside the original." said Twilight. This was something she need to learn more about.

"Remind me of Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur that Professor Oak gives out to a new trainer in Pallet Town." said Ash.

Professor Elm was delight that Ash knew Professor Oak and started going on how great he was.

While Brock listen to Professor elm, Ash, Misty and Twilight were paying attention to Cyndaquil with Nurse Joy. Twilight looked at Cyndaquil cutiely, when she started thinking about spike.

Ash noticed the look on Twilight's face. He could see that she was thinking about her former friends.

"Don't worry Twilight, I hope they start to realized what they did was wrong?" said Ash.

Twilight wipe her tears from her eye and smiles sweetly at Ash.

"He really does cares for me, not like somebody else I know." thought Twilight.

Just then an Officer came up to Officer Jenny saying that they didn't find any finger prints, but they found some suspicious from behind the lab.

"I think Growlithe can help us." said Officer Jenny.

The puppy pokemon sniffed the foot prints and started running into the city. Officer Jenny and the Gang ran after it.

"Where Growlithe taking us? Asked Ash.

"To the Pokemon thieve I hope, Growlithe is following the scent from the footprint for that stolen Totodile." said Officer Jenny.

The theives were turned out to be Team Rocket. They had Totodile attached to Jessie's long hair and she was getting fed up. James and Meowth found it funny but Jessie didn't.

Soon Officer Jenny and The Gang found Team Rocket.

"I should of known it was you three." said Ash.

"I placing you three under arrest for stealing that Totodile from Professor Elm's lab." said Jenny

"Look Officer." said Jessie swinging her hair around with Totodile still on. "It just so happen that this Totodile and I are inseparable."

Twilight was fumming.

"That Totodile is supposed to be the first pokemon a trainer is coming to pick up tomorrow." said Twilight angrily. "Don't you have any shame or grief that bothering you of what you done?"

"Sorry twerpette, but Team rocket doesn't have any grief or shame." smirked Jessie.

"She right, Finders keepers losers weepers." said Meowth taking off with Team.

Twilight was beyond pissed. She wasn't going to let Team rocket off that easily.

"Oh no you don't, Bulbasaur, May harmony be with you." called Twilight

The grass type pokemon was ready to battle. Twilight took out her pokedex and quickly looked up the moves that her Bulbasur knew.

'So Bulbasaur know Tackle, leech seed, Vine Whip, Razor Leaf and poison powder.' thought Twilight as she put away her pokedex.

"Bulbasur, Vine whip attack." shouted Twilight.

Bulbasaur released one of it's vine and tripped Team rocket off their feet. After that it tried to grab Totodile.

"Weezing I choose you." said James.

A two spherical headed Pokemon appeared.

"Smokescreen attack." called James.

Weezing released thick cloud of smoke at Bulbasaur and Twilight.

Twilight covered her nose, she couldn't see a thing and the smoke was burning her eyes.

"I(cough) can't see(cough)" coughed Twilight.

Jessie saw this to their advantage and Released her Arbok and Lickitung, she order them to attack Twilight while she defenseless.

Arbok, Lickitung and Weezing charged towards Twilight and her Bulbasaur.

Suddenly a Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Shadow ball and Ancientpower blasted them from attacking her.

Everybody looked towards Ash and his Pokemon who were giving Team rocket a glares so cold that it gave shivers down their back.

What's surprise Team rocket that Ash was holding Totodile in his arms.

"You have some nerves attacking Twilight like that I can never forgive you." shouted Ash as his eyes glowed blue.

"Charizard, use Dragon claw." shouted Ash.

The flame pokemon's claws glowed green and slashed on Weezing doing a decent amount of Damage.

"Pikachu, Charge Beam." ordered Ash.

Pikachu released a powerful beam of electricity towards Lickitung dealing great among of damage.

"Eevee use shadow ball and Togepi use Extrasensory." called Ash.

Eevee shot a powerful shadow ball at Arbok and Togepi used a powerful psychic energy at both Lickitung and Weezing slaming them both in the ground.

Jessie was furious about and order all Pokemon including Victreebel to attack Ash and Twilight.

Ash had all of his Pokemon attack Team rocket's Pokemon which send them into the air.

Team rocket was shaking in their boots. They never see Ash so angry in there life.

Totodile on the other hand was amazed of the power of this Trainer. It decide he wanted Ash to be his trainer.

He jumped out Ash's arms and blasted Team rocket with a powerful water gun and send them flying.

"What do we tell the boss now." said Meowth sadly

"You can make the call Meowth and you can give him the message we always give him." yelled Jessie.

"Team Rocket blasting off again!"

Ash and the others was impressed with Tototdile's power. Ash went up to check on Twilight.

"Hey are you ok, Twilight." asked Ash.

Twilight ran up and started crying into Ash's chest.

"Thank you Ash, I was so angry at Team rocket for stealing Totodile that-." Twilight was cut off as Ash placed a finger on her lips.

"Everybody make mistakes, even you." said Ash.

Ash hugged Twilight to calm her down. Misty was not happy about this. What they didn't know that a fiery red hair girl with a Charmeleon and Elekid was watching the whole thing.

She glared at Twilight and then left.

Professor elm and Nurse joy was delighted when Totodile was back safe.

At the Pokemon center Ash and the others let Professor Oak know that they were in New bark town and ran into an old friend of them.

While Professor Elm and Oak talked on the phone, Ash and Twilight got register for the Johto league.

While they waited for the two Professor to finish on the phone. Ash and Twilight got register for the Johto league. It turn out Nurse joy told them that the first gym was in Violet city.

Ash was giving some pointer to Twilight on how to battle properly. This way she wouldn't jump in and make mistakes.

"That great Twilight, you're really getting better." Ash said to Twilight.

"Thanks Ash." said Twilight with a blush on her face. "I'm kinda of a fast learner."

"Come on let's get our Pokemon healed." said Ash holding Twilight's hand.

Twilight just nodded dumbly.

As they enter the Pokemon center, Brock and Misty were there waiting for them.

"Well how did the training go?" asked Brock.

"It went great, I finally know how to battle properly, so the next time, I'm challenge to a battle or if I'm battling Team rocket, I know what to do." said Twilight.

While they packed up, the Totodile from Professor Elm walk up towards the gang and looked at Ash.

"Something wrong Totodile?" asked Ash.

Totodile pointed to one of Ash's pokeball and then pointed to itself.

"Ash, I think Totodile wants to go with you." said Brock.

Ash and the others were surprise by this.

"But Totodile, A new Trainer going to choose you for a new starter." said Ash.

But Totodile shook it head and said in it's own language it want a more experience trainer.

"It's alright Ash, I have another Totodile just incase for new trainers." said Professor Elm holding Totodile's pokeball.

Ash smiled and tapped Totodile with his Pokeball.

"Totodile, I won't let down and we'll become a great team." said Ash.

The Pokeball containing Totodile shook three time saying thank you.

Professor Elm also gave Twilight a pokemon egg as a thank you. At first Twilight couldn't accept it, But Ash convince her to do so. So Twilight took the egg.

Thanking for Totodile from Professor Elm, The gang left for Violet city.

After arriving in New bark town, The gang were on there way to Violet city. Twilight was reading a book about how to take care of a Pokemon egg.

"Hey Twilight, why don't you let me help you raise the egg." said Misty.

"Thanks but no thanks Misty." said Twilight. "I know how to raise an egg ever since I was in Equestria."

"Fine if you say so" huffed Misty.

Suddenly They gang noticed a fiery hair girl. She wore a black and red lining jacket(similar to Sliver's jacket in Gold/Sliver and HeartGold/Soulsilver) and orange and yellow skirt and black leather boots.

Standing right beside her was a red lizard pokemon with a red horn and flames on the tip of it's tail.

"Wow a Magby." called Ash.

Twilight decide to look up Magby on her Pokedex.

"Magby, the Live Coal Pokémon. Magby has a magma-like substance in its body, and it emits super-fiery breath."

The fiery hair girl saw a wild Pidgey and decided to capture it.

"Magby use fire spin." shouted the girl.

The Live coal pokemon released a powerful vortex of flames hitting Pidgey.

The girl throws a pokeball and successfully capture.

The girl clips the pokeball on her belt and turns around to see the Gang looking at her.

"Can I help you?" said the girl.

"We could help but watch you capture that Pokemon." said Ash. "You were pretty good and raised your Magby well."

The girl looked at Ash and smiled.

"I see you haven't chance at all Ash." said the girl.

Everybody was shock. The girl knew Ash, but how? Ash on the other hand was confused.

"Um How do you know my name?" asked Ash.

The girl smiled and pulled out what look-like a half badge.

Ash gasped when he saw the badge. He reach into his pocket and pulled out the what look like the other half.

"Ash, what's that?" asked Twilight

"It's half a badge that I won at Professor Oak's Pokemon summer camp." said Ash. "I won this half after being in a tie with this girl."

"Do you remember what that girls name was?" asked Misty with a venom in voice.

"Her name was…..Sunset shimmer is that you?"asked Ash.

The girl known as Sunset shimmer smiled.

"Yes Ash, it's me, took you long enough to remember me." said Sunset.

Ash hugged her with happiness. Sunset's cheek turn a shade of red and hugged Ash back.

Twilight was cross and felt sharp pain in her heart, she try to ignore it but she couldn't. Misty on the other hand was furious, how dare Ash hug another girl he knew before her.

"It's been so long, where have you been this whole time?" asked Ash.

Sunset smile turn into a frown and looked away.

"I heard Professor Oak talking to the orphanage about putting me there since I didn't have a home or anything." Sunset said quietly. "I didn't want that to happen, so I borrow a starter Pokemon and a pokedex from Professor Oak and ran away on my training journey."

"Well I'm glad you're safe, but that no excuse for stealing from Professor Oak." scolded Ash. "He was lucky to have another Charmander for me when I started my journey."

"Yeah I see." said Sunset rubbing her head sheepliy.

Twilight was glaring at Sunset, until she realized she recognized.

"What a minute, I know you Susnet, you were the first student of Princess Celeastia." shouted Twilight's

Sunset glared at Twilight. Ash and the other were shocked when they heard this.

"How did you know I was a student of Princess Celestia?"

"Because I was there and when Princess Celestia took me as her student, she told me you disappeared."

"And who are you?" asked Sunset coldly.

"My name is Twilight Sparkle, former student of Princess Celestia."

Sunset was surprise by this. What did Celestia do that made Twilight quit being her Student.

"So why did you become a former student of Celestia?" asked Sunset.

Twilight looked away with an upset look on her face. She didn't want to talk about it to Sunset Because she didn't trust her.

"Twilight really doesn't want to talk about it, Sunset." said Ash

Sunset looked at Ash and glared at Twilight.

"Fine, but if you ask me, she looks weak as well as Pokemon." sneered Sunset.

Twilight flinched but tried not to show it.

"I saw that battle with Team rocket, You actually put yourself and your pokemon in danger when you tried a head on attack."

Twilight was shaking with anger. She still remember the times Sunset was always being a stuck up for being Celestia's student. She bragged about more before she met Trixie.

"If you ask me, You're pathetic." said Sunset.

After that comment, Twilight was really pissed off.

"Fine then why don't we have a battle and you can find out I'm not weak." shouted Twilight.

"Sorry, but I only battle more experience trainer." said Sunset as she walked away with Magby walking beside her.

Ash was cross. He didn't like the way Sunset was acting towards Twilight.

"Hold it Sunset, why don't you battle Twilight." said Ash. "It will help her grow and gain experience."

Sunset looked at Ash and then Twilight. She noticed that Twilight's eye glowed slightly blue for a second.

"Fine if it will please you Ash."

Twilight and Sunset found a nice grassy area to have their first Pokemon battle.

"I'll be the referee." said Brock.

Misty who watching the battle decide to cheer for Twilight, just this once.

"Remember what I told you, Twilight." said Ash. "Just keep calm, relax and keep your mind on the battle."

"Thanks Ash, I'll remember that." said Twilight.

"Let's make this a one on one battle with no substitution." called Sunset holding a pokeball in hand.

"Fine with me." said Twilight.

"Magby, Flame on." shouted Sunset.

The live coal pokemon spew a stream of flames into the air ready for battle.

"Bulbasaur, may harmony be with you." shouted Twilight.

The grass pokemon got ready to battle.

"Let the battle begin." called Brock

"This will be an easy." said Sunset. "Magby use Ember attack.

Magby shot a barrage of fireball towards Bulbasaur.

"Bulbasaur counter attack with razor leaf." shouted Twilight.

Bulbasaur shot a barrage of razor leaf which collide with the ember attack causing an explosion.

"Leech seed, Bulbasaur!" shouted Twilight.

The seed pokemon fired a seed towards Magby and started sapping it's health.

Sunset growled underneath her breath. She had to admit that was a good strategy.

"Magby use fire spin." shouted Sunset.

Magby shot a vortex of flames towards Bulbasaur cause massage damage.

"Now use Fire punch." yelled Sunset.

Magby's fist engulfed in flames and punched Bulbasaur hard.

"Bulbasaur use razor leaf, once more." said Twilight.

Bulbasaur shot another barrage of sharp leafs at the coal Pokemon.

Both Pokemon panting heavily and only had enough energy for one more attack.

"Bulbasaur, Tackle attack." Shouted Twilight.

"Magby, flame charge." yelled Sunset.

Bulbasaur charged towards Magby while the live coal pokemon surrounded it self with flame.

Both collide with each other which caused a massive explosion from the too attacks.

Everybody covered the eyes from the smokes and dust flying everwhere.

As the smoke cleared, both pokemon was knocked out.

"We have a tie, both pokemon are unable to battle." shouted Brock.

"Wow I guess there both equally strong." said Misty in amazment.

"They sure were." said Ash.

"Alright Magby, return." said Sunset returning her pokemon in it's pokeball. "I'm proud of you, take a long rest now."

"Bulbasaur, Thank you." said Twilight spraying a potion on her pokemon.

Twilight then saw Sunset walk up to her and held out her Hand.

"Nice Battle, Hardly anybody can come close to tie with me." said Sunset with a smile.

"Thanks, you were pretty good yourself." said Twilight shaking Sunset.

Ash looked at the two girls and smile.

'Looks like you found your first rival, Twilight' thought Ash.

"I hope we meets again, so they next we meet you've gotten a lot stronger." said Sunset. "I don't know Princess Celestia did to you, but I hope you two make up."

Twilight didn't want to think about others. She was happy that she had better friends. She hope they got what they deserve.

"Anyway, I'm heading back to the Pokemon center and make my way to violet city." said Sunset.

"Good luck with that, Sunset." said Ash.

As Sunset walked away, she turned around and blew a kiss at Ash. Ash blushed a deep shade of red.

"Come on, Ash." said Twilight with a tick mark on her head and pulled Ash by the arm. "Let's go."

Narrator: Not feeling bad that her first Pokemon battle ended in a tie, Twilight continues her journey with Ash and his friends. What new surprises await Twilight. As the Journey continues.

And done. I hope you like this chapter. I was orignally going to put Casey as Twilight's rival. But decide to go with Sunset. I will start working on the next chapter soon and I'll work on the one side story of Shining armor and the others.
