Chapter 1: Prehistory in the Making

A familiar blue haired girl walked down the halls to a class room besides Principal Celestica.

"I'm a little surprised you wanted to keep your transfer here, after what you and your sisters did." Principal Celestia said.

"Well, I want to make up for what I did. I felt bad for my mistakes. And I really wasn't that bad. To be honest, I just went along with what Adagio and Aria did. I was just a little dumb minded." she said.

"Well, you made the right choice. I hope you can redeem yourself just like someone else here… Sonata." Celestia smiled. The two stopped at a door and she opened it.

The two entered, and immediately, Sonata felt heated glared from many of the students, making her shrink back a little.

"Ahem…" Principal Celestia said. "Attention students, I'm sure many of you are familiar with Ms. Sonata Dusk, as we all know that she and her sisters were here before and did some… er, unique first events."

"You mean other than the fact she and her sisters brainwashed us all!?" A familiar blue haired boy called out, with the others agreeing.

"Hey, knock it off!" said another with rainbow hair. This was the human rainbow dash. "Look at her, she doesn't have her pendant anymore. It's not like she can get a new one. Just leave her alone." Rainbow, along with her friends gave Sonata another chance, since they knew she didn't want what Adagio did to them and the other students in Canterlot High.

Sonata sighed. Out of all the sirens, she was dim-witted to not catch on to Adagios plan, and sometimes got distracted at the school, mostly for Tacos.

"Now, I know what she did, but I would appreciate you all to at least give her another chance." Principal Celestia said to the students. "Now then, on another nite, spots are open for the excursion to Sanjo City."

"We'll take em!" Rainbow said.

"I thoroughly agree." Rarity said. "We have had too much experiences with magical situations here, I think a little time away will do me for a while."

"Ah, what the hay, I'll come too." Aj said.

"Oh, Oh! Can I come? Can I come?" Pinkie asked while waving her hands in the air.

"Um...I...I think I'll go too." Fluttershy whispered enough for Celestia to hear.

"I'll join as well. It might be fun." Sunet also added.

Sonata looked at the others. "Count me in too."

Celestia smiled and nodded. "It is settled."

"I wonder what's in this town?" Rainbow wondered.

"It can't be anything magical or dangerous, right? We did two things like that." Aj said. "Uh, no offence to you two.."

"None taken." Sunset and Sonata replied.

"Besides, It's just a harmless city. What could go wrong?" Pinkie said.

Thousands of the forest creatures of earth, Dinosaurs, were in panic as a meteor crashed down on a huge chuck of the planet, wiping them all out and…

A young boy, named Max with spiky brown hair, was having a dream, but hit his head when he fell out of bed.

"How'd that happen?" He asked himself. "Guess I fell asleep." He climbed back on his bed to continue reading the book he had. "Then, a giant meteor crashed into earth, causing all the dinosaurs to become extinct."

As Max flipped to the next page of his book, he heard a silent sound coming from outside, along with a bright light. Looking up, he saw a faint star moving in the morning sky.

"What's that?" He asked himself. "Maybe...It's a meteor!"

Max fell over himself as he ran out onto his balcony to see it crash into a nearby hill. At this moment, he ran back inside, and ran to another room.

"Hey, Rex! Wake up!" Max shouted. "You're not gonna believe it!" Opening his door, a blond slight spiky haired kid woke up from his slumber.

"What? What's going on?" He asked in a tired voice.

"You gotta get up! I think I just saw a meteor!" Max exclaimed.

"A wha?" Rex asked.

"I gotta tell Zoe, she'll flip!" Max said running out. Rex didn't know what was going on, but he had a feeling if Max was interested, something must be up.

"This better be good." He muttered, getting up from his bed and getting dressed.

(zooming up on a body of water, the D-Team is seen. The guitars kick in and Pterosaurs flew near the D-team and flew into the blue skies. They then flew past the Humane six and Sonata as the prehistoric era was seen)

Chilling out with the crew in the schoolyard

(Max is seen, running along side his baby version of a baby Triceratops.)

Finding trouble, never working too hard

(Rex is seen next, running with a baby Carnotaurus.)

Back in class they never taught us this

(Zoe was next, running with a baby Parasaurolophus)

(The humane six, Sonata and the D-Team join up as the three dinos glowed)

Tough times, hard climbs

(Max takes out a card with an adult Triceratops and sweeps it along a handheld device.)

We'll take them all together!

(Rex and Zoe follow suite and swipe their cards as well.)

Right now, let's go!

(Both groups stand together with the three dinos at full strength with the dinos roaring.)

(Chomp and Max stand side by side as Chomp charges in.)

Come on, you better play your cards right!

(Rex draws a new card as Ace stands ready for battle.)

(Zoe and Paris are right behind them as Zoe performs one of her unique moves when using her own move cards.)

You'll make the grade and win this fight!

(Sonata runs with a card in her hand, while being chased by a T-rex and tosses the card to Rex, who swipes it. A guitar solo then comes out as multiple dinos from the different elements ready their own signature moves. Among them are Terry, Spiny and Tank, tackling the Alpha gang and Terry biting Dr. Z's beard.)

You'll make the grade somehow,

(As all of the dinos begin fighting, on yeah, Max and Sunset give each other a high five. Then all of them are shown.)

(Chomp, Ace, Paris, even Terry, Spiny and Tank in their full forms dash around one another, fighting for what's at stake on both sides!

(Max, Rex and Zoe hold up their dino cards and cheered, with the human six and Sonata cheering as well, with the title below them as Terry gave his full t-rex roar like in the original opening afterwards, making the title shake.)

It was after the humane six with company by sonata arrived that they just got word of the object crashing down. Being curious herself, Rainbow decided to lead and head into the forest, with the girls following her.

"You sure this is the right way?" Sunset asked the cyan girl.

"That's what I heard. Some kind of object fell from the sky, and it crash landed in these areas." Rainbow said.

"I don't know. Maybe we shouldn't be here." Fluttershy said shivering a little.

"Aw, don't be so scared of everything, Fluttershy." Rainbow said. "Look, we're just in a forest, nothing bad is gonna happen. It's just us. All there is, is just us, the sound of the forest animals, and nothing else."

"Yeah, unless that adventure starts before breakfast." They heard a male voice.

"Well, you'll change your mind when we find that meteor." Another boy's voice said.

"Well, I hope we find it soon, cause I'm hungry."

"I'm sorta hungry too, Max." A female voice said.

"So much for that assumption." Aj said. She then came to see the kids who made that sound. One was Max, who now was wearing a red sweater with a yellow hoodie, long orange track pants, red shoes and wearing a triceratops horned hat.

Rex now had blue clothes on, consisting with cream truck colored pants, a pair of blue shoes and a large dinosaur claw-like fossil necklace around his neck.

The girl had pink goggles on, matching her pink hair which was wrapped in two pigtails. He clothes was a think back t-shirt with a yellow vest, and matching yellow short pants, with black leggings, wearing green shoes and a small claw necklace on her neck.

"Hey! You kids!" AJ said.

"Ack! We've been spotted!" Max shouted in panic.

"Calm down, Max. Maybe there here for a reason." Rex said, in a calm voice.

"Why don't ya ask my friend here?" AJ said as the other five with Sonata came up.

"Are you guys by any chance looking for that object we saw fall from the sky before?" Rainbow said.

"Yeah. And it isn't just any ordinary object. It's a meteor!" Max exclaimed in excitement.

"A meteor?" Sunset asked. "Wait, why would you want to check out that? You're a little young aren't you?"

Max then showed a golden badge which was in the shape of a 'D' and had sharp points.

"We're part of the D-Team. We came out here to check this place out." He explained. "Oh right, I'm Max, Max Taylor."

"Rex, Rex Owen." Rex greeted with a calm tone and smile.

"I'm Zoe Drake." Zoe greeted.

"Nice to meet you. I'm sunset shimmer." Sunset said. "That's Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity."

"What am I? Chopped liver over here?" Sonata asked.

"Oh, sorry. That's Sonata Dusk. She's one of our new friends." Sunset explained.

"Whatre ya doin all the way over there, sonata?" AJ asked.

"Looking at all of these knocked down trees." Sonata said as Zoe noticed.

"Whoa. How'd that happen?" Zoe asked.

"That's weird. What do you think happened to all of those trees?" Rex asked in question.

"Hey, look! There's a hole right in that one!" Rainbow said.

"Yes, Jackpot! This must be where the asteroid hit!" Max said as he looked inside. It was dark, so he pressed a button on the right side of his hat and the horns on his hat started glowing.

"Careful Max, It might be dangerous." Zoe said.

"Yeah, but exploring dangerous stuff is what the D-Team is all about. D for Danger." Max smiled and continued looking in the hollow tree.

"Yeah, well, Dumb also starts with D." Rex adds in.

"You wanna talk dangerous, you should see what we went through…" Rainbow muttered.

"Hey, look at this!" Max pulls out of the tree and was holding some kind of stone, with a lightning bolt on it, with some kind of button in the center on the side. "It looks like it has a Lightning Bolt on it."

"Hey, look! Another one!" Rainbow said giving it to Rex.

"Hey, you're right. And this one looks like wind." Rex said, looking at the stone.

"I found one as well." Fluttershy said and gave it to Zoe.

"This one looks like it has a symbol for grass." Zoe said.

"Hey, what's this for?" Max asked, fiddling with the button.

"Wait Max, dont…!" Sunset said as it suddenly glowed in a yellow color. The two stones rex and Zoe held reacted as well, but the wind stone glowed cyan and the grass stone glowed green. Each of the kids were then covered in the colored aura of their stones.

"What's going on?" Zoe said as the aura quickly dissipated.

"What was that? Was it like… you know, your thing?" Sonata asked.

"Not sure." Max replied and looked back in the hollow tree. "Huh?" he spotted something else. It was a metal egg, with two cards in them. "What are these?" he pulled them out. One black showed a pic of a Triceratops and the other was it hitting something as it was charged with lightning around its horns.

"That's a triceratops, right? It's thick skull and those horns are good for some great defense." Rainbow said as the others looked at her in surprise. "Okay, so I'm into Dinosaurs, so what? Can a girl have other hobbies?"

"It's card has the same symbol that's on this rock thing." Max said. "Maybe that means you're supposed to put the two of them together."

Max put them both together, but he accidentally brushed the first card against the button. It flashed yellow, causing the egg to glow, as the card burst into the air and enlarged into an adult triceratops. It roared loudly and landed, facing the girls and the D-Team.

"Er…" Sunset said.

"RUN!" Fluttershy screamed as all of them took off and hid behind some trees.

"It came to life!" Max said.

"And It doesn't look happy!" Rex added in.

"You did this Max, so put it back!" Zoe snapped at him.

"How do I do that!?" Max asked.

"Try doing what you did in reverse!" Rainbow called.

"I dunno how!" Max said.

"Wait, it came to life when you stroked the…" Sunset said. "Max, the button!"

"What about it!?"

"Press it!" She called.

Quickly, Max pressed it, and in a yellow light, the dino was glowing and it turned back into a card. Seeing it gone, they all sighed in relief.

"That was to close. Was that a real triceratops?" Sonata asked.

"It couldn't have been. Probably just a hologram." Rex replied.

"No way, that was a hologram!" Max said in excitement. "A hologram would not have destroyed those trees!"

"It WAS real." Rainbow said in awe.

"But how? Because of this?" Zoe said referring to the stones before max tried to bring the dino out again.

"No, Max! That can bring it out again!" Rex called.

"So i'll just put it back again." Max said, this time swiping it upwards as the card glowed, but it wasn't as big from before. The card moved lower to the ground, and a baby Triceratops was created. It opened its black eyes and looked around in curiosity.

"Oh my goodness!" Fluttershy gushed. "It's so cute!"

"Hey, there little guy." Max kneeled. The baby dino lifted itself up and bit Max's nose. "Gah!" He moved the dino away. "What you bite me for!?" The baby triceratops tackled him and started licking his face. "Gah! Knock it off! Stop it!"

"I think he likes you, Max." Sunset giggled.

"Either that, or it wants to eat you." Zoe giggled.

"No way, Triceratops are herbivores, they wouldn't hurt a fly." Rainbow said.

"Yeah, well my name is not Herc, it's Max." Max said as the baby kept licking his face. "Hey, take it easy." The baby Tricera bit his nose again. "Ow! Hey, don't bite me."

"Well, it looks like you got yourself a baby Triceratops, Max." Rex smiled, as the dino bit his arm.

"You mean it's got me!" He winced making the girls laugh.

However, they weren't the only ones who noticed, as far away on an unknown island, one old man was watching a video of hundreds of dinosaurs, far and wide, from T-rex to Velociraptor were duking it out in an arena.

"When this Dinosaur stadium is complete, my ultimate goal will be realized!" he called out. "Yes! And the name Dr. Z will go down into history!" he laughed. "You'll take care of that, won't you, Ed?"

The name Ed implied to the one sitting next to him. "Remind me again how you spell it?"

"It's Dr. Z! It's spelled with a Z!" He shouted angrily.

"Right, so is that capital or lowercase?"

"Capital of course!" He looked back at the monitor. "Anyway, why are there only Tyrannosaurus out there? I want a lot more than that!"

"Uh, they were all the time I had to put on the computer." Ed said.

"Well, make more time! I just don't want to be the king of one dinosaur species!"

"I know what you want. You want to be become king of all the dinosaurs." Ed said.

"Yes! I just don't want to be the king, I WILL be the king!" Z called out smirking.

"Er, about that. I heard that you actually have to be a dinosaur to be king of them." Ed said.

"What! Who told you that!?" Z asked.

"Er….Ursula." Ed replied. Suddenly, a red Tyrannosaurus burst out and roared at Z and Ed. Both of them instantly panicked and took off. Because when you have a t-rex snarling down your back, you know you'll be it's next meal. The predator snarled and took off, chasing the elder scientist.

"Argh! Help me, I've got a Tyrannosaurus on my Tail!" Z screamed in panic.

Little did he know, two kids, one with pink hair, wearing a crimson dress and a boy with a pilot hat on was controlling the dino.

"So, how long do you think I should hold it for?" The girl asked.

"Maybe you should shut it off now." The boy replied.

Doing so, as the doc was being chased, the T-rex glowed red and shrunk down to miniature size, just like the triceratops. It tumbled on the ground and landed on the Doc's back. It then bit hard on his beard, making him wince.

"Get off of me!" He snapped, slapping the baby T-rex off him. "Alright, who allowed Terry to be in his adult form?!"

"Not me, that's for sure." Said a woman with green hair.

"I certainly didn't do it either." A skinny man replied as well.

"Not me, either." Ed said. He looked to see his grandchildren, Laura and Rod, with the device that was for sure behind Terry's trick.

"So, it was you two!" He snapped angrily, taking the device from Laura's hands. "This Alpha handheld is not a toy!"

The horns on the device then flashed.

"Hm? What's that mean?" Z asked.

"It means another dinosaur has been spotted Grandpa." Rod answered.

"Likely one of the cards that were scattered all over the world as a result of the accident with the time machine." said a man with light blue hair and a coat said walking up.

"Ah, Seth my boy. How are the repairs coming along?" Z asked.

"They're doing ok, but it seems I'm missing some of the parts we need to repair the entire ship. We're gonna have to get them delivered. In the meantime, we should also look for the cards that were scattered while I'll continue working on the ship, so we can be ready to head out when the time machine is fixed." Seth said.

"Exactly. And since one was found right at this moment, about 500 km away, we should be able to get one right now! Ursula, Zander, Ed! Take Terry and get that card!" Z called.

"Yes, Doctor!" They saluted.

(Back with the group)

The human six and the D-team were all at Max's house, telling his dad, Spike Taylor, who they found out was a paleontologist on Dinosaurs, explained what happened.

"You're saying that's a real triceratops?" Spike asked, as Max placed a bandage over his nose to where the baby Triceratops bit him.

"Yeah. Chomps totally real." Max answered, as the newly named baby triceratops was munching on the bench and rolling around playfully.

"You named it Chomp? Seriously?" Rainbow asked.

"Well, that's what Max named him, since he always chomps on anything he can get his teeth on." Zoe explained, as Chomp was biting on the floor of the steps.

"So you're saying some card turned into that Dinosaur?" Spike asked, taking a look at the capsule and other card. "And what is this one for?"

"Not sure ourselves. We thought you would know." Max said.

"How am I supposed to know?"

"Because you're an expert on Dinosaurs, Dad." Max stated.

"I still find it pretty amazing that you're dad's a real Paleontologist." Sunset said.

"Well, my dad has been studying dinosaurs when he was my age." Max explained.

"And for a while, I thought I knew just about everything. But this is the first I've heard of little dinosaurs popping out of cards." Spike said.

"Actually, it was a full size adult one." Rainbow corrects.

"She's right." Rex added.

"Are you serious? Where?" Spike asked.

"Well, to get the big one, I think Max turned the knob on this stone." Rainbow said pointing at the stone in his hands.

"Okay." Spike said turning the knob on the stone. "Hmm...Nothing's happening." He looked at Chomp. "Are you sure that's how it works?"

"I think Max has to do it." Rarity said.

Max took the stone and turned the knob. At the response, Chomp glowed and turned into a card in the boys hand. Swiping down, Chomp came in full size and roared, over taking the entire back yard.

"Gaaah! Ya could've at least moved somewhere more open!" Aj shouted.

"Max, put him back!" Zoe shouted.

Quickly, Max reversed the transformation and made Chomp little again, as they all sighed in relief.

"This is a huge discovery!" Spike said. "But we have to keep this a secret."

"Yeah, the last thing we need is this getting outta hand." Sunset said.

"How do you figure?" Max asked.

"Well… ever heard of Jurassic World, or any of the Jurassic Park movies?"

"I've seen them. They were some of the best Dinosaur movies I've seen." Rex said.

"Yeah, but they messed with bringing them into the present. And the parks got destroyed, remember?" Max asked.

"So it's best if we keep them a secret, as not to bring the stories in those movies to reality." Spike said.

Sunset sighed. "And here was us thinking we could have a normal trip down here, but I guess not."

"What do you mean, normal?" Spike asked. "Wait a second, now that i'm taking a closer look at you all, i've seen those looks."

"Hey, you're right! I knew those names sounded familiar!" Zoe said. "They were on the news!

"Huh?" all seven said.

"Yeah. They recently showed it a little bit after what happened. Have a look." Rex showed them a video of the Rainbooms fighting the three Sirens, and a large Alicorn shooting a beam of Magic at them.

"Whoa, you really are them." Max said. "But you're missing one. Where's the one with the lavender hair?"

"She had to leave for…. other things." Sunset explained.

"Why didn't you tell them about the thing?" Pinkie asked.

"Do you want them to freak over about us fighting some kind of mind controlling Seiren freak?" Rainbow asked, until she realized what she said. "Uh, no offense." She said to Sonata.

"None taken….again." Sonata replied.

"You'll get used to it." Sunset said, patting her back for some comfort.

"Aki, my wife, can't know about it either. For now, let's just say Chomps an unusual dog." Spike said.

"Seriously? You think she will fall for it?" Rainbow asked.

"I hope it does. I just don't want her to be freaked out by it." Spike said.

"Me freaked out about what?" A voice asked him from behind, making Spike jump. He turned around and saw a middle 30 aged woman with brown hair and wearing a yellow blouse. "Oh, Zoe. I didn't realize you were here, and we had more guests."

"Um, they and I just got here." Zoe said in a little surprised voice.

Aki then saw Chomp and kneeled, making the girls sweat a little. "Oh, and who's this cute little guy?"

"That's Chomp. He's uh.." Max stuttered out, before Spike picked him.

"He looks like an unusual looking dog." Aki said, watching Chomp flail a little in his husbands arms.

Hearing that, made the human six and Sonata fall to the ground.

"Thats right. So, can we keep him?" Spike asked as Chomp bit his arm, making him wince.

"That will be fine, but you will be responsible for taking care of him, Max." Aki said to her son.

"No problem, mom." Max said.

As Aki walked away, Sunset and the others picked themselves up, but were still stunned that Aki believes Chomp is a dog.

"You should see the looks on you faces." Max said snickering.

"If we want to know why Chomp gets big with these stones, we need to make it more easier. I'll see what i can do at the D-Lab with Reese." Spike said, as Rex and Zoe gave him their stones.

(Next morning…)

A periscope was upped as the trio from the island were arriving,

"Destination ahead." Ursula said setting it aside. "Prepare to surface!"

"Aye aye, captain!" Zander and Ed said. Unfortunately, they surfaced their submarine a little too early, not noticing the giant ship which ran into them and tore the sun apart.

"I didn't say to surface yet!" Ursula snapped in panic.

"But this is just a rental!" Ed said.

"Lucky for you, we put it on my credit card!" Zander called out, as the sub sunk to the bottom of the ocean.

Back with the group, they all sat on benches at the park, while Max was playing frisbee with Chomp.

"Those two have really gotten along, almost like they met from the beginning of time." Rex said.

"I'm not one to say, but I'm jealous of Max." Rainbow said, placing her hands on her chin. "He has a real dinosaur, and neither of us do."

"Call it luck, I guess. But then again, you guys dealt with those threats back in your home. Shouldn't that be better than taking care of dinosaurs?" Zoe asked.

"Well, when you take care of threats that will hang in the balance of the world, not entirely." Sunset said.

Suddenly, they heard murmurs as something was coming from the sea. They all gathered together.

"What is that?" AJ asked.

"Dunno, but it can't be anything good." Sonata said.

Rainbow narrowed her eyes closer at the object in the water. It held a familiar shape and form. What had her attention….was the head that was on the creature. Her eyes suddenly widened.

It burst out of the water. It was Terry full sized, but the others didn't know it, as he roared in a threatening way, making the townspeople scream and run for the hills.

"That's a Tyrannosaurus Rex!" Rainbow shouted.

"As in the dino that wants to actually eat you?!" Pinkie asked.

"They can basically eat any type of Dinosaur! They don't call it the King of Dinosaurs for nothing!" Rainbow explained.

"Can we save this for later? Run!" Rex said as they bolted off.

Back on the water, Ursula and Zander were able to recover and grab on to a bit of debris.

"And the hair still stands!" Zander said.

"Wait, where's Terry?" Ursula asekd.

"He's right over there." Zander said. Ursula was surprised, as somehow in the crash, she must've returned terry to his card and brushed him against the Alpha Scanner. This caused him to grow to his full size.

"Help me! I don't know how to swim!" Ed called in panic, trying to stay above the surface.

"Maybe you should have thought about that before." Ursula said.

"Whatever you do, don't grab on to the end, because there's a good chance you'll sink us back into the…" Zander didn't have time to finish his sentence, as Ed did grab onto the end of the board, causing the trio to sink again.

Meanwhile, the group was running from Terry.

"I've seen enough of Jurassic Park to know that running from a T-rex is never a good idea!" Max shouted.

"It's still following us!" Rex shouted.

"Spread out! T-rex's aren't sharp about who they hunt, so he'll have trouble picking who to target first!"

With the agreement, they all split up, but much to their shock, Terry was following Max and Chomp without a second thought.

Spike showed up with a bag and some sort of device in his hands.

"Wow! An actual T-Rex!" Spike shouted in excitement.

"Dad, what are you doing here!?" Max asked his father.

"Stand back! Watch the expert at work!" Spike said and ran for the Tyrant Lizard King. "So, Mr. T-Rex, nice to meetcha! This is a meeting 65 million years in the making! So, now, be prepared to be snared!" the device in his hand sprung to life, and shifted.

"What is that he has?" Sonata asked.

"I don't know, but I hope it will help." Sunset said.

However, what they didn't expect, was it turned….into a catching net.

"A NET!? You gotta be kidding me!" Rainbow shouted.

"I'm coming for ya!" Spike said charging.

"Wait Dr. Taylor, dont!" Rarity said.

It was too late, as the net caught on to terry, but barely fit over his snout. He looked confused for a second, blinking. But then, Terry roared and ripped the net off with ease.

"Uh...needs work." Spike whimpered lightly. Terry charged in at Max again, ignoring Spike. "Ah! Max!"

"Why do i get the feeling it's me he wants?!" Max said running into a food stand. Big mistake. With Terry's thick skull and mighty strength, it only took one headbutt to smash apart the stand into pieces.

"Just go away!" Max shouted. He tried to run, but he slipped. Terry lunged at him, but Chomp jumped at him.

"NO! CHOMP!" Max shouted.

The baby Tricera bit Terry's nose, but did nothing, as the rex swung his head and Chomp bashed into a tree, knocked out for the moment. Terry looked at Max, and then ignored him, heading for the baby herbivore.

"Oh no!" Sonata said. Just then she received a stick like device from spike.

"Sonata! Throw that to max, quick!" Spike shouted.

"What is this!?" She asked.

"No time to ask, just do it!" He called.

She nodded. "Max, catch!" She shouted throwing the device to him.

Max caught it. "What's this thing?" He asked.

"It's designed to work like your stone, but easier. You can use it to make Chomp bigger." Spike said before getting into his bag again. "Here, read the manual!" he threw a massive book, making the boy blink.

"Just trust him and read it later!" Rainbow called.

"Right!" Max started pressing buttons on the device, but nothing was working.

Terry grew closer as saliva dripped from his fangs.

"Oh, I can't bear to watch!" Fluttershy said, covering her eyes with her hands.

"Max, hurry!" Sunset shouted. Finally pressing the right button, Max got the stone to work and Chomp turned into a card and went to him, just missing Terry's jaws.

"Whew." Sunset sighed.

"Max, do the same thing you did with the stone and the card, and put some muscle into the swiping!" Spike called.

"Right! Here we go!" Max said swiping Chomps card on the device. The screen showed a lightning bolt and Chomp appeared and spun in the air. Lightning energy builded up and made each of his body parts huge, ending with his horns. At his full size, Chomp roared loudly, while lightning exploded around him.

He landed on the ground, ready for action. As he did, the whole area went into some kind of pinkish dimensional design.

Back with the alpha gang, they finally made it to shore.

"Urgh, I feel like a giant fool." Zander moaned, and his hair fell. They heard the T-rex roar, gaining their attention.

"Terry?" Ursula asked.

Back at the field, the two titans faced off.

"Enough with the ceremonial standoff in the wild!" Rainbow said. "Start bashing heads against one another!"

Chomp roared and charged, bashing against Terry. The fire Rex roared angrily and started bashing his head back with incredible force, making the triceratops screech and fall on the ground. Chomp tried to counter with his horns, but the Tyrant lizard bit deeply on his horn and tossed him around like a rag doll.

"Chomp!" Max said.

"Forget it, Max. There's no way a triceratops can ever defeat a T-rex." Rex said.

"He's right. A triceratops is basically the main prey for Tyrannosauruses." Rainbow added.

"Wait a second." Sonata said seeing the other card in there. "You think that'll do something?"

Max pressed a button and made the card pop out.

"Electric Charge? Is this supposed to be him slamming into something with tons of electrical energy?" rarity asked.

"Whatever it does, might as well try it out now. Because Chomp is gonna need some help." Sunset said.

She was right, as terry was beating against chomps body.. With his foot.

"Hey! I call foul! T-rexes aren't supposed to do that!" Rainbow shouted.

Quickly, Max grabbed the card and swiped it on the device. At the contact, the stone reacted to the card and Chomp started glowing and crackling with Lightning. Terry backed up as Chomp got up.

The clouds darkened as lighting came down from the sky and struck Chomp in the horns, making it surge right through his skull and horns.

"Wow!" Pinkie said.

"Is that even possible?!" Aj asked in shock.

"Don't look now, but I think Chomp is gonna get some payback." Sunset said.

Chomp roared loudly, feeling super charged by the power of lightning, as his crest glowed in the colors of the rainbow.

"Yeah! Give it to him, big guy!" Rainbow cheered.

The tricera charged in at the T-rex. At the contact of the blow, lightning surged in the center of the horns and shocked the T-rex, making him roar in pain. He then flew through the air.

"Holy..!" Sonata said.

"That never happened 65 million years ago!" Rex said in shock.

Terry crashed on the ground, moaning in pain. Unable to get up, he collapsed and glowed red, returning to his card.

"He did it!" Pinkie cheered.

Chomp was exhausted too, and collaped turning back as well.

"I gotcha!" Max said catching his card.

"Is he alright?" Fluttershy asked.

Max swiped the card again and Chomp came back out in his baby form. He opened his eyes and got up.

"Chomp, you ok?" Max asked as he picked him up. Chomp began biting his nose again.

"Yup, he's good." Rainbow sai.

Sonata walked over to where Terry's card landed and Picked it up.

"Huh. This turned into a card too." Sonata said before someone swiped it out of her hand. "Hey!"

"Who do you think you brats are, ruining our very important mission and snatching our card!?" Ursula snapped.

"I should be asking you that, old lady!" Sonata said.

"WHAT?! Listen you little brat! I'm not old, and I'm in the mid 30s!" Ursula snapped angrily.

"Calm down ursula, I'm sure she didn't mean it." Zander said.

"Especially since you both look like you're in your teens." Ed added.

"Who are you guys anyway?" Rex asked.

"The Alpha Gang!" Ursula said.

"Imagine your worst nightmares!" Zander said.

"Except you're wide awake!" Ed said.

"Seriously? You three don't even look threatening at all." Rainbow said.

"She does have a point." Zander said.

"What are you three doing here, and what does it have to do with these cards?" Sunset said.

"That's for us to know, and for you brats to find out!" Ursula said. "And if you know what's good for you, you'll stay out of this, otherwise, you will know the true meaning of fear from the Alpha Gang!"

"Seriously? I would rather take on a demon or sieren." Rainbow said.

"A-hem!" Sunset and Sonata coughed.

"Uh, no offense to you two." She quickly added in.

"Wait, that girls a Siren?" Ed asked.

"And to be fair, I could probably be a little older than you than I look." Sonata added in. "Also, I wouldn't mind putting you three under my control." She smirked.

"She's gonna sing! Let's get outta here!" Zander shouted in panic and the trio ran for their lives.

"Nice bluff." Sunset giggled, along with the others.

"Thanks." Sonata chirped.

"Wait, you can sing like in the myths?" Max asked.

"Uh… they sorta broke my pendant, remember?" Sonata asked.

"She's right. In order for her to sing like in the legends, she needs her magical pendent, but we destroyed it." Sunset said.

"By the way, what is this thing, Dad?" Max asking holding the device up.

"A Dino Holder." He answered.

"Is this thing like the stone?" Max asked.

"I bet it does way more than that." Rex said, as Max opened one part of the holder, revealing the thunderstone he had.

"Yes, that part is a translator, and it can take the dinosaurs thoughts and puts them into words." Spike explained.

"You mean, Max can talk to the dinosaurs?" Sunset asked in surprise.

"Yeah, and I have one for Zoe and Rex." Spike said giving one holder to the two.

"Max wait!" Rainbow said as max pressed a button, causing him, and the other two to glow in their aura color. Suddenly, the three started to hear voices.

"Whats going on?" Rainbow said as the others heard them too.

"I dunno but…" Sunset said trying to touch max but ended up glowing as well as the others. "Uh oh."

They all rose into the air and sprouted the ears and wings, along with the extra braids resembling tails.

"It made them pony up?" Sonata said before it touched her too. The humming of a few hundred sirens rang in her ears as she grew her siren wings. "Not again…. Whats happening?"

HV: Hey Guys! Whew, finally made it onto one of these things.

Sonic: We decided to make this story, since there wasn't one that involved MLP and Dinosaur King, since we loved the anime.

HV: And don't worry, the others will get their dinos, just with the machines used in the game. Oh, and I'll also have them should a Power Rangers morphing call.

Sonic: Nice. That should spice things up a little.

HV: It'll be the one from Dino Charge. You know of it?

Sonic: Seen a bit of it, but I'll get deeper into it.

HV: Here, I got it. You finish it. "Energize!"

HV: Yeah that's it! Now, most of you might know the opening we did was from GX. It's because it's suited to something like dino cards.

Sonic: We like throwing in different opening from different animes, like to spice it up a bit.
