Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, was running along one of the far hills in Green Hill Zone on the planet Mobius, enjoying the peace, the quiet, and the wind blowing off his face. "Ah, nothing but nice fresh air today," he said while running, "But I wonder why Eggman hasn't attacked in a while. It's been like a few months. Has he quit or something?"

He ran on and on until he felt a vibration on his wrist. He slowed down and stopped and looked at his wrist. His TSP watch was vibrating. He turned it on and a voice spoke, "Sonic, it's me, Tails, can you hear me?"

"Yeah, loud and clear, Tails, what's up?" Sonic responded and asked.

"I need you at my house," Tails said, "There's something I want to show you."

"All right," Sonic said, "I'll be there in a flash." He said as he ran to Tails' workshop.

Sonic then arrived at Tails' workshop. He opened the door and saw his little brother working on something. It looked like some kind of space or time machine. It was medium sized and as round as a large tree log.

"Hey, Tails," Sonic said, "Whataya working on?"

"Hey, Sonic, glad you made it. I thought I'd show you this machine that I've been working on. I programmed it to have us travel trough time and space. And even other dimensions," Tails explained.

Sonic felt that wasn't a good idea, "Um, bro, that sounds a little risky. How exactly do you expect this to work by any chance?"

Tails grinned, "I designed this to be powered by the Chaos Emeralds, of course. In fact, I actually have them right now with me," he said as he pressed a button on the X-Tornado, and it opened a hatch revealing the seven Chaos Emeralds.

Sonic now felt worried, "Now that's sounds really risky."

"Oh, come on," Tails said, "This can be a whole new different way for us to find out if we're not alone in the universe."

"Tails, seriously," Sonic said, "This could be dangerous. You're going to risk our lives, or even all of Mobius. Is that something you want to do? Destroy our own world just for some dimension machine?"

"Okay, I don't what your problem is, or why you're freaking out about this, but I want to know what other worlds there are, and I want to know NOW," Tails argued.

"If you really want to do this, fine," Sonic said crossing his arms, "But I'm sure you'll be sorry about this afterwards."

"Whatever, I plan to do this on Angel Island," Tails responded, "So whether you want to see it or not, you don't have to.

"Hmph," Sonic then took of in a flash, leaving a gust of wind behind, causing Tails' papers to fly around all over the place.

"Ugh…" Tails groaned as he face palmed, "I really need to get some paper weights for whenever he does that."

Tails pressed a button on the side of the machine. It transformed into the form of a box, grabbed it and the emeralds and came outside. He then spun his two tails and started flying in the air towards Angel Island.

Later, at Angel Island, Tails arrived and saw Sonic was there near the resting place of the Master Emerald.

"Oh, what do you know?" Tails said.

"Well, you said you were gonna do it here," Sonic said, "So I decided to at least check it out."

Tails put his invention on the ground in front of the Master Emerald. He changed it back to the form it was in earlier .The machine then had seven small poles coming out for some sides. Each end had a small, round platform.

Tails placed an Emerald on one of the platforms each. Then the Emeralds glowed brightly as the transferred their energy into the machine.

"Here we go," Tails said.

"Well, what are you guys working on?" a voice asked from behind.

Sonic and Tails turned around and saw Knuckles, Shadow, and Silver. "Hey, guys. What's going on?" Silver asked.

"I'm just putting this little machine of mine to a little test,' Tails said.

"I'm assuming this is designed to travel in time and space?" Shadow asked.

"Actually, Tails said this has to do with dimension traveling," Sonic answered.

No one was noticing that the machine was gaining too much power from the emeralds. It was beginning to shake.

"Uh, that might be a pretty bad idea," Silver said, "And by pretty, I mean REALLY bad idea."

"That's exactly what I told him, but he won't listen to me," Sonic said.

"You're a real slow poke sometimes," Tails said.

"What did you say?" Sonic asked.

"Oh, you heard me," Tails said smirking.

Suddenly, the machine started to shake violently and malfunction. Electricity crackled as it shook. The Chaos Emeralds were glowing so brightly, the Mobians covered their eyes.

Then the machine exploded and a massive white vortex appeared right in front of the Mobians. They opened their eyes and looked at it.

"What…the heck…is going on? What is THAT?" Sonic asked.

"I've no idea, but I bet this can't be good," Knuckles said terrified.

They started to step back, but Sonic starting moving forward. His feet were stepping backwards, but he was moving in the opposite direction. He was getting sucked inside it. "AHH! YIKES! HELP!"

Silver grabbed his hand quickly and tried to pull him, but it was no good. Silver as well, was being pulled inside. "Uh-oh, that's not good. HELP!" he shouted.

Just as they both got sucked in, Shadow grabbed Silver's legs and pulled as hard as he really could, then in an instant, he managed to pull out Silver, but Silver's hand slipped off Sonic's and Sonic went through and disappeared into the vortex.

"SONIC, NO!" Tails shouted.

He tried to jump in to go after him, but Knuckles grabbed his legs, refusing to let him go too. "No, Tails! You can't go! Whatever he has to face, he can do it alone!" he said.

Tails continued to struggle to get in, but then the vortex disappeared and so did the Chaos Emeralds. After a moment, all that was left on that one spot was the pieces of the machine, the Master Emerald in its resting spot, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver, and Tails who was crying.

"No… Sonic… my brother…" Tails whimpered as he fell to his knees, "He was right. I never should've done this. This is all my fault."

"Don't worry, Tails," Knuckles said as he patted Tails on the head, "He'll be all right. He's gone on many adventures just like this before."

Tails just kept his head down looking at the ground sobbing. He had never seen his brother disappear right in front of him before in his life. He just continued to cry.

Meanwhile with Sonic, he felt a little dizzy, but when he opened his eyes to see where he was, all around was an enormous tunnel of blue and purple energy. He was seeing many weird white vortexes showing different people, places, and buildings inside them.

"What the?! What's going on?! Where am I?!" Sonic asked.

Then he saw the Chaos Emeralds floating around him, and then a white vortex appeared right in front of him. Inside it, he could see a pinkish purple building. Around it was a street, a white statue in front of it, a parking lot behind it, a playing soccer field on the left side of it, and everything in the other surroundings were houses, trees, and hills and mountains far out in the distance.

"What the-" before Sonic could say another world, he and the Chaos Emeralds were sucked into it.

Way high in the sky, the white vortex opened for a moment and closed right after Sonic and the Chaos Emeralds came out of it.

"Huh? Where-?" Sonic looked down and saw he was hundreds of feet up in the air, "Oh, this can't be good."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Sonic shouted as he fell to the ground.

He landed on the ground face first with a very loud KABOOM! and his head got stuck in it. Ouch. He then placed his hands on the ground and applied force to the ground pulling his head out. He shook his head to get any pieces of dirt off his quills. He then instantly realized that he didn't have any quills. He placed his hand on his head and felt something like hair.

"What the-? What happened to my quills?" he thought.

He then saw a large statue with a white horse on top and a mirror on the base. "Mirror. Reflection," Sonic thought quickly.

Sonic ran over to it to see his reflection. The very second he saw, he yelped, "AHHH!"

Sonic stood back for a moment, then he slowly walked over to the statue and looked at his reflection again. "What happened to me?" he asked to himself.

Sonic had become a human. He had peach colored skin, instead of his quills on the top of his head; it was rather admiral blue spiky hair with emerald green speed glasses in it, and he still had his green emerald eyes. He was wearing an unzipped cut sleeve cerulean blue vest-hoodie with navy blue streaks on the bottom over a white long sleeve shirt with the sleeves folded up to his elbows. His lower half contained azure blue jeans with a couple rips to the knees, and his same bright red and white shoes with gold buckles that he was wearing before, but they each had white sports tape on the front, middle and ankles. For accessories, he wore a bright chocolate brown colored bandana around his neck, on his hands were white fingerless gloves, white sports tape wrapped around the hands excluding the fingers going halfway up the lower arms, and even a sapphire blue wristband on each wrist. He was also wearing a bright cobalt blue backpack with bright scarlet red and gold yellow streaks on it on his back.

"I'm a human," he said surprisingly; he never experienced a change like this before in his life, "Well, at least I arrived with clothes on."

Sonic looked around. He saw the seven Chaos Emeralds surrounding him. They were barely glowing, but normally. Sonic grabbed them and put them in his backpack. But as he placed them in, he heard something clank. He pulled out what the emeralds touched. It was his medallion for his Sonic Underground adventures. He was happy he still had it and put it on around his neck. He looked inside again to see if there was anything else. He then found something that surprised him. He found 20 of his Golden rings in his ring bag. He was glad to see he had those. He then checked one more time, and this time he pulled out a completely round, black sword hilt that he knew. It was his beam sword from when he was in the Super Smash Brothers tournament.

Then something came to Sonic's mind, "Wait, if I'm a human, then did I lose my powers?" he thought.

He saw the building from the vortex in front of him and the statue. He ran around it three times in five seconds. He sighed in relief. He was glad that he didn't lose his powers either, "Man, without my powers, I would really be having a bad day."

Sonic took a long look over himself again. His muscles felt very strong, and he thought he looked way past cool this way, "Wow, I look good no matter what I look like. I could get used to this."

He then saw a sign next a stairway that led to the front doors. He walked towards it and it said, "Canterlot High School."

"SCHOOL!? Aw, man…" Sonic thought, "Oh, well, guess I have no choice."

He walked up the stairway, opened the doors and looked around. All he could see were long hallways with lockers, doors to different rooms, and many different colors of ribbons on the walls. This was definitely a school.

"Where the heck is everybody?" Sonic thought as he looked around, "Okay, let's think; this place can't be abandoned. If it was, the walls would be crumbled, the lockers would be damaged, and everything would be completely covered in dust. There would probably also be a lot of plants growing all over the place. So where is everyone?"

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING! Out went a loud school bell ringing. Sonic covered his ears from the sound as he groaned. The sound really seemed to hurt Sonic's ears depending on how loud it was.

Suddenly, a massive group of students came through the doors flooding the hallways.

"Oh, well, that answers the question," Sonic said as he backed up into a wall, avoiding himself from getting run over.

After the flooding died down, Sonic began to walk around.

"All right, so I'm in a school," Sonic thought with his finger on his chin, "It's my first day here, so what I need to do is I would need to find the principle of the school, if I'm correct. But the question is, where the heck am I supposed to go?"

Sonic could then hear some whispering sounds. He looked and saw that many of the students were gazing their eyes onto him. A few were whispering to some others about him, a few were giggling at him, and many girls were blushing and shyly waving at him.

Sonic didn't seem to be bothered by any of this. So all he did was smile and wave to the students. Surprisingly, the students smiled and waved back to him. They really seemed to think that Sonic was a really nice guy. Some other students came over to him and held their hands out for a handshake, and every time, Sonic smiled and shook their hands.

What Sonic did notice that seemed strange was that the students had many different colors of skin, hair and eyes. He knew that was something unusual for a human. However, he acted like he didn't care. He liked everyone the way that they were.

He then saw two girls blushing and waving at him shyly. Sonic smiled and winked at them. To his complete surprise, the two blushed madly at his action and fainted.

"Whoops," Sonic thought with a sheep smile while scratching the back of his head, "I guess my cool looks were a little too much for them to handle."

Then he spoke to himself in his head, "Sonic, you have to focus on the job. And while you're here, maybe keep your powers a secret."

Sonic shook his head to get back to what he was doing. As he walked, he thought to himself, "I need to find a way to get home since I have the Chaos Emeralds. Now what should I-"

He then heard a voice from around a corner, "Thought this was over, didn't you?"

Sonic came around the corner and looked at what was going on. He saw two young teenage girls. One had yellowish-orange skin, bright red and bumblebee-yellow hair, and aqua greenish-blue eyes. She was wearing a black biker jacket over a magenta purple shirt with a bright red and yellow shimmering sun on the chest, a tangerine orange skirt with a magenta purple and blonde yellow streak on the left front, and black boots with a magenta purple design on the feet.

The other girl had cream yellow skin, her hair was long and bright pink that fell to her waist with a white butterfly hairclip in it, and she had teal blue eyes. She was wearing a white tank top, a grass-green skirt with a few butterflies; two blush pink and one magenta pink, and grass green boots with a white design on the feet and magenta pink knee socks with white dots.

The pink-haired girl was being bullied by the red-and-yellow haired. "I-I didn't-" she started, but was interrupted by her bully.

"You are so pathetic! Don't you see that I rule this place? You'll never hide from me!" The red-and-yellow-haired girl shouted.

"I…I…" the pink-haired girl stammered.

The pink-haired girl was on the verge of tears until…

"HEY! Leave her alone!" Sonic yelled as he instantly appeared out of nowhere right in the red-and-yellow-haired girl's way.

This caused the pink-haired girl to be completely surprised by the boy's action. Sonic's loud yell had caught some other students' attention. They were surprised to see Sonic standing up to the red-and-yellow-haired girl, almost like as if no one had ever done that before.

"And just who the hay are YOU!?" the red-and-yellow-haired girl yelled, "GET OUT OF MY WAY!"

"Well, just what gives you the right to bully someone?" Sonic asked.

"I rule this place, so I get to speak to anyone anyway I want! Now move!" the red-and-yellow-haired girl ordered angrily.

"Why don't you just make me, hot head?" Sonic challenged.

"I said, MOVE!" the girl yelled again.

"No," Sonic refused with bravery and courage.

The girl tried to walk around him, but Sonic, who was being careful with his speed, kept blocking her path, making her frustrated.

"RGGGGH! You're really getting on my nerves! For the last time, get the hay out of my way. NOW!" the red-and-yellow-haired girl growled.

"Not happening anywhere, any time soon," Sonic said, "How about you just walk away and don't bother coming back?"

The red-and-yellow-haired girl scoffed, "Fine."

"And don't you ever, EVER, let me catch you speaking to anyone like that again," Sonic got in her face as he pounded his fists, cracking his knuckles.

The red-and-yellow-haired girl turned and began to walk away, "Please. I can speak to anyone, anyway I want."

Some of the other students all stepped back feeling afraid of the red-and-yellow-haired girl as she went past them. As soon as she was out of sight, they all took a deep breath in relief and looked at Sonic.

Sonic only shook his head in disappointment at the red-and-yellow-haired girl. The pink-haired girl was astonished by what the blue boy did. He stood up to her bully. Sonic then slowly turned towards the pink-haired girl who then covered her face in her hair. Sonic then knew how she felt and wanted to be kind. He slowly and gently offered her his hand.

"Are you all right?" Sonic asked her.

The pink-haired girl continued to hide her face for a moment, until she looked up at Sonic. As soon as she saw his emerald eyes, a small blush began to form onto her cheeks as she gently took his hand and Sonic carefully hoist her up. He then checked to see if she was okay. And now he gave her a warm smile.

"I'm glad to see she didn't hurt you," he said softly.

The girl stayed silent for a second, until she had the courage to speak, "I can't believe you did that."

"Um, did what?" Sonic asked.

"What you did before, no one has ever stood up to Sunset Shimmer before," the girl answered still a little shy, "No one ever does."

"So Sunset Shimmer is her name," Sonic thought then spoke, "Well, umm, I couldn't just stand there and let her scare you like that."

Sonic placed his hands on the girl's shoulders, "And don't worry, I'm not gonna let her scare you like that again."

The girl blushed at his kind, caring words. She then asked him, "What's your name?"

Sonic smiled, "I'm Sonic," he answered, "What's yours?"

"I'm…" the girl whispered.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Sonic asked as he turned his ear to her.

"I'm Fluttershy," the girl whispered again, but a little louder so Sonic could hear.

"Fluttershy, that's such a beautiful name," Sonic said kindly while smiling.

Fluttershy blushed even more at what he said. She never met anyone so kind and gentle like Sonic in her whole life.

"I can't believe I was defended twice in a row today," Fluttershy said.

"Twice? Someone else defended you?" Sonic asked.

"Yes, her name is Twilight, she defended me from Sunset Shimmer earlier today," Fluttershy explained.

"Twilight? Hmm, I wonder who she is," Sonic thought.

"Um, Sonic?" Fluttershy said.

"Yeah?" Sonic asked.

"I don't really think I've seen you here before. Did you just get transferred to Canterlot High from another school?" Fluttershy asked.

Sonic thought for a second, until he answered, "Umm, yeah. Another school."

Then a voice from the speakers spoke, "Attention, students, due to a new student at Canterlot High, any and all other new students must report to Principle Celestia's office for orientation. That is all."

Sonic and Fluttershy heard the announcement. "You should probably go," Fluttershy said.

Sonic then asked, "Well, um, Fluttershy, do you know where I can find the principle's office by any chance? I might need help."

Fluttershy smiled, "Of course," she said, "If you like, I could show you the way."

"Oh, yeah, thanks," Sonic said, "I really would appreciate it if you helped with finding the principle's office."

"Oh, and Sonic," Fluttershy said with her hands behind her back.

"Yeah?" Sonic asked.

"This is just a way for me to say 'thank you' after what you did for me today, so if you're okay with this, please close your eyes, I'm mean, if you're okay with it," Fluttershy said as she began to blush again.

Sonic closed his eyes like he was asked and Fluttershy gave him a small, soft, and kind kiss on his cheek. Sonic's eyes then instantly popped open as he began to blush rapidly.

"Whoa, well, that was unexpected, but you're welcome," Sonic said still blushing, "So, um, could you please help me find my way to the principle's office?"

"Of course, please follow me," Fluttershy said as she led the way.

Sonic followed Fluttershy as some of the other students gave me a pat on the back. Sonic was feeling happy, "Maybe this place isn't as bad as I thought," he thought.

But neither Sonic nor Fluttershy noticed that a security camera was watching them. From what appeared to be on the other side, sitting in a chair, was a tall, bald, mustached man clothed in grey hexagonal shaped goggles, tinted navy blue lances, a red turtle-necked jacket with white terms, large yellow cuffs with triangular notches cut into each side cuff, black countered pants with matching boots, and cuff less gloves.

That man was Sonic's greatest enemy, Dr. Ivo Eggman Robotnic, otherwise just known as Dr. Eggman. He seemed to be little surprised.

"Wow, two new students in one day," Eggman said to himself, but something came to his mind about the blue haired teen, "Hmm, that blue haired teenager boy, I feel like I recognize him."

Eggman turned his chair around and called out, "Orbot! Cubot!"

Out of a dark area came out two small machines; one red and black in an orb shape, and the other yellow and black in a cube shape. The red bot was Orbot, and the yellow was Cubot.

"Send down one of my Egg Fighters, and tell him to capture the new blue haired teenager that just came to Canterlot High School today," Eggman ordered.

Orbot replied, "Yes, doctor, right away."

Orbot and Cubot went to prepare an Egg Fighter while Eggman turned back around and looked at the screen thinking about that blue haired teenager.

Sonic and Fluttershy arrived in front of Principle Celestia's office. Fluttershy knocked on the door. They then heard a voice from behind, "Come in."

Fluttershy opened the door and Sonic followed. Inside was a woman sitting in her desk. She wore a golden jacket with dark violet purple pants with a Sunbelt across her waist, and gold shoes. Her hair was a mixture of chartreuse green, teal blue, and taffy pink. Her skin was very bright pink and her eyes were mauve purple.

"Hello, Fluttershy. What can I do for you, and who is this boy with you?" the woman asked.

"This is Sonic, Principle Celestia. He's new here, and he defended me from being harassed by Sunset Shimmer," Fluttershy answered, "He just needed me to help him find you."

Celestia smiled, "That is kind of you, Fluttershy. I'll take him on an orientation. You get to class."

Fluttershy nodded. She then turned her head to Sonic, "Thank you, again," she said.

"No problem," Sonic said as he winked at her.

Fluttershy blushed but smiled as she left. Sonic then sat down a chair in front of Celestia's desk. "Hello, ma'am."

"Hello, Sonic," Celestia said, "I'm Principle Celestia. Welcome to Canterlot High School. Now, before we get started, let me ask you, was Fluttershy really being harassed by Sunset Shimmer?" she asked.

"Yeah," Sonic answered, "And I wasn't going to just let her scare Fluttershy like that. And don't worry, I didn't take things too far."

Celestia smiled, "That's good. Now let's get started," she said as she took out a piece of paper and a pen and began asking Sonic questions, "First, may I have your middle initial and last name?"

Sonic stayed calm as he remembered Tails was his brother, and his real last name was Prower, "My middle initial is H and my last name is Prower."

Celestia wrote them down and asked where he was before coming here. Sonic said, "I lived in Emerald Town and went to Emerald High."

Celestia then asked what kinds of classes he was into. Sonic answered, "I'm really into history, math, athletics, and music."

"Thank you for cooperating and here's your schedule for the year," Celestia said as she handed Sonic a schedule, "And again, welcome to Canterlot High. Oh, and since it's your first day here, and you're a really bright young man, you can walk around and say hi to some other students."

"Thanks, Celestia. I'll see you later," Sonic said as he left her thinking.

"Hmm, that was an interesting orientation indeed. I've never heard of Emerald Town or Emerald High before," Celestia thought as she sat in her chair, "I'm going to have to keep my eyes on him very closely."

Sonic walked down the halls as he looked at his schedule. His first period was free period, his second was PE, his third was math, next, there was lunch break, and his last period was music. "At least I have two classes that I like," he said.

He then saw a clock on the wall, and it said, 12:00 PM. That was when the bell rang for lunchtime. He saw some students leave their classes and they saw him and waved hi to him.

"Hey, Sonic," a familiar female voice said behind.

Sonic turned around and saw Fluttershy standing there with her backpack. Sonic smiled, "Hey, Flutters," he said.

Fluttershy blushed a bit, "That's what people sometimes call me for short, how did you know that?"

"Just a little guess," Sonic said, "Say, do you think you can show me the way to the cafeteria? I'm feeling hungry."

"Of course," Fluttershy answered, "I'll come with you."

Them and the other students went to the cafeteria. When Sonic saw hot dogs and a bowl of hot chili, he smiled, "Oh man, I haven't had chilly dogs in such a long time."

"Are chilly dogs your favorite?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yep," Sonic said, "I think I'll choose some other foods as well."

When they got in line, they chose their foods. Sonic chose two chilly dogs with two slices of peperoni pizza, French fries, an apple, and a can of orange soda. Fluttershy was a little surprised at what he got as she grabbed her food. They found a table, sat down and began to eat their food.

Fluttershy noticed Sonic's medallion under his bandana, "Hey, Sonic?"

"Yeah, Fluttershy?" Sonic asked as he took a bite of one of his chilly dogs.

"What's that under your bandana?" Fluttershy asked pointing at his medallion.

"Oh, this? This is my medallion. It was a present of mine from my mother since I was a kid," Sonic explained.

"It's really nice," Fluttershy said staring at it.

"Thanks," Sonic said as he continued eating his food.

"Wow, you must be hungry," Fluttershy said.

"Mm-hmm," Sonic said as he drank his soda.

"So, um, I've been hoping to ask you," Fluttershy started, "Why were you defending me from Sunset?"

Sonic whipped his mouth with a napkin. "I wasn't trying to prove anything," he said, "I was just doing the right thing. I like to be a nice kind of guy."

Fluttershy smiled, "Also, I've never seen anyone have this amount of gears and accessories before. How come you have so much?" she asked.

"Um, just for my style," Sonic answered, "Anyways, what are students like here at Canterlot High?"

"Well, lots of us are very different from each other. We like to do many different interesting things. I'm like an animal caretaker," Fluttershy explained.

"Oh, really?" Sonic asked, "Well, how much do you like animals?"

"Actually, I love animals," Fluttershy said, "I have many cute bunnies, birds, and squirrels back at my home. I take very good care of them every day."

"Then that represents who you want to be," Sonic said.

"Um, what do you mean?" Fluttershy asked.

"Nothing, it's just that you love animals and I just have a hunch that you want to be an actual animal caretaker, and it's good," Sonic said, "And that's what also makes you a very special person."

Fluttershy couldn't help but blush at how kind Sonic was being to her. She smiled and went back to eating her food with Sonic while she thought about him. Then Fluttershy gently placed her hand on Sonic's shoulder, making him look at her.

Fluttershy hesitated and blushed again, but then leaned towards Sonic and gave him a soft kiss on his cheek. Sonic blushed as well, but he smiled.

"Sorry, that was only for how kind you're being to me," Fluttershy said.

Sonic still smiled. And then he thought of something, "Hey, Fluttershy."

"Yes, Sonic?" Fluttershy asked.

"Maybe after what you did for what I did for you, I want to do this, just because you are one of the nicest friends that I have ever met in my life," Sonic said.

"What?" Fluttershy asked as she began to blush once more.

Sonic gently placed his hand on Fluttershy's cheek as he whispered to her, "This."

Sonic slowly leaned towards Fluttershy and he gave her a soft kiss on her lips. Fluttershy went wide-eyed as she blushed deeply, but then her eyelids slowly drooped as she softly kissed Sonic back and placed her hands on his shoulders. When they broke the kiss, they looked at each other and smiled.

"Thank you, Sonic," Fluttershy said.

"You're welcome, Fluttershy," Sonic said.

Fluttershy then wrapped her arms around Sonic and she gave him a soft, but caring hug. Sonic smiled as he hugged her back.

After a nice lunch, Sonic walked on through the hallway looking around. He was completely lost again. "Man, it wish there was a map here," he thought, "This school is like an endless maze."

He was about to continue on when a female voice from behind spoke, "Excuse me, young man, are you new here?"

Sonic turned around and saw a purple woman with pink and purple striped hair and green eyes. She was wearing a white shirt under a brown vest, a green skirt with a flower pattern, and brown boots.

"Yes, ma'am, I'm new here, and I'm kind of lost," Sonic said.

"I can understand that," the woman said, "My name is Ms. Cheerilee. Have you had an orientation?" she asked.

"Yep," Sonic answered, "And since it's my first day here, Celestia said I can walk around and say hi to some other students."

"All right," Cheerilee said, "How about you meet Pinkie Pie? She's in the gym. Keep walking down this hall and you'll see the doors to the gym on the right."

"Okay, thanks," Sonic said as he walked off.

"What an extraordinary young man," Cheerilee said to herself as she walked back to her classroom.

Sonic walked down the hall as he was told. Then, a moment later, he found what he was looking for. Two doors that looked like ones that led to a gym. He opened them and it was a gym. It was very quiet at the moment.

Sonic then saw a young girl in the middle. She had fuscia-strawberry pink fluffed up hair, blush pink skin, and sky blue eyes. She wore a white shirt with a lavender pink heart at the middle and amethyst purple across the top of the shirt, a short sleeve cerulean blue jacket, a cerulean blue bracelet on each wrist, an amethyst bow around her waist, a lilac purple skirt with three balloons; two sky blue on the bottom with yellow strings and one sunflower yellow on the top with a blue string, and cerulean blue boots with white laces and pink bows on the top of them. She looked like she was pondering something.

"Um…hello?" Sonic spoke.

The girl turned around to see him and smiled. "Hi! My name's Pinkie Pie! And I…" she said but didn't finish when she looked at Sonic.

Pinkie stared at Sonic with awe. She looked at his shiny shoes, his clothing, and especially his possessing emerald eyes. She was blushing deeply at him.

"Yo, Pinkie, you okay?" Sonic asked snapping his fingers in her face.

Pinkie shook out of her trance and went back to what she was doing before. "Sorry, I was in a trance for a second."

"I'm Sonic, I'm new here," Sonic said.

Pinkie put her hand to her chin and squinted her eyes closely to Sonic, "Hmm, I thought you didn't look familiar," she said.

"What?" Sonic asked confused.

"Oh, nothing," Pinkie said smiling.

Sonic decided to cut to the chase, "So, what're you up to, Pinkie?"

"I'm trying to decorate the gym for the Fall Formal, but I can't figure it out. I want to do it. I must have a really bad case of Party Planner's Block," Pinkie explained.

Sonic saw Pinkie frowning. He wanted to cheer her up. He placed his hand on her shoulder, causing her to turn her head and see him giving her a smile.

Pinkie's frown turned upside down instantly, "OOOOH! That's an amazing smile!"

Sonic's smile grew a little, "Maybe I can help you, if you like," he said trying to cheer her up.

Pinkie gasped loudly, "You'd do that for me?!"

Sonic's smile grew more, "Anything for a friend."

Pinkie then suddenly gave him an unexpected hug, "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" she squealed.

Sonic was struggling to speak, "Pinkie…I…can't…breathe."

"Oops, sorry," Pinkie said as she let go of him from her breath-taking hug.

Sonic gasped quite a bit, "Wow, I haven't had a hug like that since I was a kid."

After he got his breath back, he decided to make things fun, "Pinkie," he said as he picked up many rolls of streamers, "Watch this."

In an instant, Sonic ran fast all over the gym rolling multiple colors of streamers in the ceilings and on the walls instead of throwing them. He arranged them in good places, tied some to the center of the ceiling where a disco ball was hanging, and placed on some spots of tables that were around the walls. Pinkie was awestruck at what she was seeing in front of her eyes.

A few minutes later, the whole place was covered with enough streamers. Sonic smiled, "Now all that we need is the balloons," he said.

Then, as he turned around, Pinkie thrust towards him and gave one of her most big, tight, and painful hugs. "THANK YOU SO MUCH SONIC!" she squealed as she held him tightly.

Sonic tapped her shoulder, which caused her to remember it was a breath-taking hug. She put him down and Sonic panted for a moment. He chuckled, "It's no problem. So how about we blow some balloons together?"

"Sure," Pinkie said as she and Sonic grabbed the balloons.

"Fluttershy said she'd probably be in here," a voice said.

There was a lavender purple skinned girl with dark berry blue hair with two streaks; one violet purple and the other magenta pink, and violet purple eyes. She was wearing a light arctic blue button up shirt with a magenta purple bowtie, a lapis blue backpack on her back, a dark violet purple skirt with a picture of a pinkish purple starburst on the side with five small white stars around it, and dark violet purple and hot pink legwarmers on top of black dress boots. Right behind her was a small iris purple dog with apple green eyes, parakeet green spiked up hair, chartreuse green ears, and a denim blue collar with silver spikes and a gold dog tag with a pink heart in the middle.

"INCOMING!" Pinkie shouted from above.

An oncoming storm of streamers attacked the girl and the dog, completely covering them. They came out of their streamer cocoons and saw Pinkie blowing some balloons with Sonic.

"Hi, my name is Twilight Sparkle and-" the girl started, but stopped and ducked her head as Pinkie turned around with a long balloon in her hand, swinging it like a sword. Sonic turned around and saw Twilight too.

Twilight's eyes widen when she saw Pinkie's face, "Pinkie Pie?"

Sonic and Pinkie stopped dead in their tracks when they just heard Twilight say that. Pinkie then let the air out of her balloon, allowing it to blow the air in her face, while Sonic let go of his, letting it swirl around in the air and hit him in the face, "OW!"

Pinkie then instantly came up in front of Twilight, grabbed the collar of her shirt, and pulled her close to her face with bulging eyes. "Are you psychic!?" she gasped.

"Uh, no, I don't think so, unless, of course, that's something you can do here," Twilight answered with a nervous smile.

Pinkie dropped Twilight on the floor, "Huh, no usually," she said as she approached Sonic who was on the floor after getting hit in the face by that balloon, "You okay, Sonic?"

"Ugh…" Sonic groaned as he got up, "That hurt, but otherwise I'm fine."

As soon as Twilight looked at Sonic, she went a little wide eyed and blushed at his look, "So, um…who are you?" she asked.

"My name's Sonic, what's your name?" Sonic replied.

"I'm Twilight Sparkle," Twilight answered.

Sonic's eyes widen, "Hey, I've heard of you, Fluttershy told me about you."

"You met Fluttershy already?" Twilight asked feeling as shocked as Sonic.

"Yeah," Sonic answered, "I heard from her earlier that you defended her from Sunset Shimmer, and a while ago, I did the very same thing."

"Okay…" Twilight said as she then turned to Pinkie who was blowing up another balloon, "Anyways, Pinkie, Fluttershy said this is where I could find the head of the Fall Formal Planning Committee."

Pinkie perked at the mention of the name, "Fluttershy, huh?" she asked as she tied up the end of the balloon, "Don't let the whole shy thing fool you, she can be a real meanie."

This caused Twilight AND Sonic to look surprised.

"You two aren't friends?" Twilight asked in shock.

Pinkie walked towards Twilight backwards while leaning back. "We need to get your name on the ballot, huh?" she said, "Dance is day after tomorrow."

Sonic flexed an eyebrow and asked, "Hey, Pinkie, what's this 'Fall Formal' you're talking about?"

Pinkie perked again, "Oh, right, I forgot you're new here. The Fall Formal is a dance that we have every fall here at CHS! Why don't they just call it 'autumn'? That way, it would be called 'The Autumn Formal'! But then there'd be no words to play. OHHHHH! Now I get it!"

Sonic was completely confused by Pinkie's rambling, but got his message. But he felt that something wasn't right.

Twilight then replied to Pinkie, "Well, I'm brand new here."

"Ooooh!" Pinkie said, then put her hand on her chin, "Just like Sonic, I thought you didn't look familiar."

Pinkie then rushed up to Twilight and examined her in a few weird and awkward ways. "Though, now that I'm really looking at you," she started, then backed up and asked, "Do you have a twin sister who lives in the city? Has a pet dog named 'Spike' that looks just like that one?" she asked pointing at Twilight's dog that was chewing on a balloon.

"Uh, maybe?" Twilight answered awkwardly.

"Thought so," Pinkie said as she then pulled a clipboard out of her hair and held it in front of Twilight, "Any who, you just need to fill this out, and you are officially up for the coveted Princess of the Fall Formal crown!"

Pinkie also pulled a pen out of her hair, making Sonic confused.

"How did she put those in her hair? That's just like when I also put my stuff in my quills," Sonic thought.

Pinkie was waiting for Twilight to take the pen. Strangely, Twilight took it in her mouth, while Pinkie still waited patiently, like she wasn't finding it weird, but Sonic was. Twilight then took the pen out of her mouth and began writing.

"That… was… odd," Sonic thought.

When Twilight finished, Pinkie looked at it, "Wow! You have really bad handwriting. It's like you never held a pen before."

Twilight chuckled nervously as she dropped the pen on the floor, "Is it?"

Sonic put his hand on his chin, thinking about why Twilight was acting like that. He felt suspicious about her.

"Somebody order a dozen cases of fizzy apple cider?" a female western voice asked from the main entrance doors.

That caught everybody's attention. "Ooh! Ooh! Me, me, me! Me! Yeah! Uh-huh! Me!" Pinkie called out flailing her arms.

Putting down a crate of apple cider on a table was a girl with light orange colored skin, blonde yellow hair tied up in a ponytail that fell to the middle of her back, a few specs of white on both her cheeks, and bright green emerald eyes just like Sonic. She wore a Stetson tortilla brown cowboy hat, a white jacket with shamrock green in the middle, a light denim blue jean skirt with a walnut brown belt with a ruby red apple-shaped buckle on the front, and tawny brown leather boots with a logo of three ruby red apples on each foot.

The girl held her hat and wiped some sweat from her forehead. When Twilight saw her, she then had a surprised look on her face. Sonic noticed, "Strange, why does she look like she recognizes that girl?"

The girl then put her hat back on, "Can you bring in the rest?" she asked someone.

"E-yup," a male teenager answered as he carried four more crates.

Pinkie bounced on her foot towards the guy holding the crates and the blonde-haired girl lifted the top crate from the guy's load, revealing what he looked like. He had green eyes and orange hair. He was wearing a red and brown jacket, a white shirt, brown wristbands and blue jeans. He looked like he was the girl's big brother.

The blonde-haired girl walked with the crate until she saw Twilight and Sonic. "Hey, I know you two," she said.

"You do?" Sonic and Twilight asked at the same time.

"Sure, you're the new students who gave Sunset Shimmer the what-for today," the girl said as she put down the crate, took out a bottle, removed the top with her teeth, and began to drink it.

"Twilight Sparkle here is gonna run against Sunset Shimmer for Princess of the Fall Formal," Pinkie said as she blew one of the left over balloons.

The blonde-haired girl went wide-eyed in surprise, spit out the amount of cider she didn't swallow and turned to Twilight in shock, while Pinkie began to float in the air by the balloon she was inflating.

"I'd think twice about that. Oh sure, she'll probably approach ya, all friendly like," the blonde-haired girl said as she grabbed Pinkie, took the balloon from her and started drawing on it while Pinkie started to blow up another one.

"I sure am lookin' forward to some friendly competition!" the girl imitated holding the balloon with a picture that looked like Sunset Shimmer.

"That's so good to hear!" she imitated again, holding another one with a picture that looked like Twilight.

The girl then turned the Sunset balloon around revealing a tack taped to the back, "But then, here comes the back stabbin'," she said in her normal voice popping the Twilight balloon.

Sonic just stood watching as the girls talked. The more he thought about this, the stranger it got. But that wasn't the only strangest thing; while Twilight was standing right next to him, he could sense a really small amount of strange energy coming from her.

"That's strange, I can sense a bit of energy coming from Twilight," Sonic thought, "But it doesn't feel like Chaos energy."

"About the only girl in this school you can trust less than Sunset Shimmer is Rainbow Dash," the blonde-haired girl told Twilight.

"Rainbow Dash?" Twilight asked, sounding like she knew whom she was.

This was getting very confusing for Sonic, "What weird names this world has," he thought.

"She's the captain of like every team at Canterlot High," Pinkie said bouncing on a giant balloon.

"Seriously, how does she do that?" Sonic asked.

"Believe me, I have no idea how she can do that either," Twilight said.

"She's also the captain of the saying she's gonna do something for ya, and then turnin' around and not even botherin' to show up," the blonde-haired girl said crossing her arms.

"Thanks for the advice, Applejack, but this is something I really need to do," Twilight said revealing the girl's name.

"Eh, suit yourself," Applejack said.

Sonic suddenly went wide-eyed by what he just heard. "Wait! How did she-!?" he thought.

"Hey…" Applejack started, "How'd ya know my name was Applejack?"

Twilight then just perked by what she said, "Umm, I uh, heh-heh, didn't you say?" she asked blushing nervously.

"E-nope," the orange-haired guy answered for Applejack bringing in another crate of cider, while Pinkie was drinking from a bottle.

"Well, uh, it was sure nice meeting you three. I'm sure I'll be seeing you around," Twilight said as she and her dog rushed out the side door.

Sonic knew that girl was hiding something.

Applejack then turned to Sonic, "So, I haven't asked, what's your name?" she asked.

Sonic smiled, "Name's Sonic. Nice to meet you," he answered as he winked at her with a thumbs up and a smile.

Applejack couldn't help but just stare into Sonic's emerald eyes. She could see courage, strength, and happiness, even honesty. Her cheeks turned bright crimson, which meant she was blushing. "Wow, I've never seen anyone have that much style before. And I'll be, his eyes, they're as green as an emerald," she thought.

Sonic was going to follow Twilight, but looking at the apple cider made him thirsty. He walked over to the table that had the crates of cider. He took out a bottle, removed the lid, and drank the entire bottle in a solid four seconds. Then he took two more bottles and did the very same thing. Applejack and Pinkie both had awestruck looks on their faces.

"Ah… refreshing. Great apple cider, AJ," Sonic said as he took the empty bottles and put them in a recycling bin.

"Well, um, it was nice meeting you two. I, uh, gotta go too. See you later," Sonic said as he began to take Twilight's way out.

"Wait, Sonic!" Pinkie called out.

Sonic stopped and turned to Pinkie. Pinkie ran right up to Sonic and she gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. Sonic's eyes widen in surprise the very second that Pinkie did that as he felt his cheeks burning red. Applejack was wide-eyed in surprise and a little bit of jealousy.

"Sorry, I couldn't help it," Pinkie said as she herself blushed deeply, "That was only for helping me with the decorations. Thanks, Sonic."

Sonic gave a little chuckle, "Hehe, you're welcome, Pinkie. Glad to be of help. If ya need anything else, call me. See ya around!"

Sonic ran through the same way Twilight went through. As he went after her, he thought in his mind about her, "I don't know what's going on, Twilight, but we're gonna need to have a long talk about this."

As soon as Sonic had left the gym, Pinkie and Applejack were left alone in there.

"Twilight is trying to keep a secret, but I am totally onto her!" Pinkie said, then she whispered to Applejack, "She's psychic."

Applejack looked at her a bit confused, "Uh-huh, if you say so. Say, what else do ya know about that Sonic guy?" she asked.

"Well…" Pinkie started when…

SLAM!

A sudden sound of the main entrance doors bursting open loudly interrupted Pinkie. She and Applejack turned to see who it was. Standing in the doorway, were two weird-looking teenage boys, one short, plump, and green skinned, the other tall, skinny, and with orange skin, and standing in from of them was the girl that bullied Fluttershy earlier, Sunset Shimmer.

"This. Looks. Terrible!" Sunset commented as she stormed in.

"There should be more streamers by the stage and fewer balloons!" she said as she popped two balloons at once with just a tap of her finger and walked away, much to Pinkie's dismay.

"Yeah, streamers!" the plump guy said ripping a streamer in half.

"And fewer balloons!" the skinny teen said while trying to pop a balloon in his arms, but failed miserably.

"Fizzy apple cider?! UGH! This is my coronation, not a hoedown!" Sunset told Applejack disgustedly.

"Well, now, it ain't necessarily gonna be YOUR coronation any time soon," Applejack said angrily.

Sunset got in Applejack's face while Pinkie backed away. "Oh, is that so?" she said.

Sunset turned Applejack's hat around and placed in on her face, "Your country folks really AREN'T that bright, must be why the other students say such awful things about you."

Applejack burned through the top of her hat with anger alone, growling and her face turning red.

"Obviously, it's gonna be my coronation. I'm running unopposed," Sunset said.

"Not this time! The new girl just signed up!" Pinkie burst out holding the clipboard.

"What!?" Sunset exclaimed as she took the board from Pinkie's hand.

"I know, her handwriting is really bad. And it's too bad you don't like the decorations, Sonic worked on them so hard for me," Pinkie said.

"Wait, who?" the boys asked.

"The new guy, you mean you don't know him? He's fast, he's skilled, and awesome, not to mention cute," Pinkie said blushing a bit.

Sunset lowered the clipboard from her face and gave off an angry scowl. "Where is this Twilight Sparkle and Sonic!?" she shouted.

Sunset then turned her head around and saw Pinkie and Applejack looking at her confused. She chuckled nervously, "Heh-heh, I'm looking forward to meeting the competition. And I guess how nice of Sonic," she said calmly as she left with the teen boys following her.

Applejack and Pinkie felt that something wasn't right, but they couldn't put their minds on it.

"Maybe this 'Sonic' is the new guy who got in my way earlier. If he's forgotten what he did to me, he'll get what's coming to him," Sunset thought, "Although he is kind of cute, when I get the crown, I can probably have him as my slave."

Twilight began roaming through the halls with her dog in her backpack with Sonic quietly following her until she came across a pitch-black dead end with the lights flickering slightly. Sonic came around and spoke, "Twilight."

Twilight turned around and saw Sonic looking at her with a serious look while tapping his foot on the floor, "What's going on?"

"W-What are you talking about?" Twilight asked.

"Twilight, I know you're hiding something," Sonic said with his arms crossed, "You're not from around here, are you?"

"Well…" Twilight said.

"No, we're not," Twilight's dog instantly said.

Sonic perked up at that instant second the dog talked, "So, you're from another world?"

Twilight hesitated for a few seconds then nodded.

"Can't believe I didn't recognize you earlier," a voice said.

Twilight and Sonic noticed someone was behind them, someone they stood up to, Sunset Shimmer. "I should've known Princess Celestia would send her prized pupil here after my crown, and her little dog too," she said, "And how cute, you have a new boy who's defending you."

"Princess Celestia?" Sonic thought.

"It's MY crown!" Twilight stated.

"This doesn't make sense, how did they get here? And why is this crown they're talking about so important?" Sonic continued pondering in his mind.

"Whatever. This is just a mirror setback for me. You don't know the first thing about this place, and I already rule it," Shimmer said cool, calm, and collected.

"Rule? She's really full of herself," Sonic thought.

"If that's so, why do you EVEN need my crown? You went to an awful lot of trouble to switch it with the one that belongs here," Twilight said.

"This crown… I'm guessing this crown is not normal at all," Sonic said to Twilight.

Twilight shook her head, saying no.

"Pop quiz," Sunset began, "What happens when you bring an Element of Harmony to an alternate world?"

Twilight put a finger to her chin to think.

"What's an Element of Harmony?" Sonic thought.

"You don't know? Seriously?" Sunset let out an amused chuckle, "And you're supposed to be Princess Celestia's star student?"

Twilight then became upset, but regained her composure. Sonic was really starting to not like this.

"Then again, what were the chances she'd find somepony as bright as me to take under her wing after I decided to leave Equestria?" Sunset said.

"Equestria? And did she say some-PONY?" Sonic thought at that word.

"Bit embarrassing that YOU were the best you could be," Sunset commented.

Sonic couldn't watch this any longer. "All right, that's enough, Sunset," he said as he got in Sunset's face, "You don't have the right to torture anyone."

Sunset wasn't that bothered, "Oh, and I'd keep an eye on both your mutt and your blue spikey headed friend," she said to Twilight while scratching Sonic's chin, making him stare at her harshly, "Hate for them to be… taken away from you."

"Is that a threat?" Sonic asked growling.

"Oh, of course not," Sunset mocked.

Sonic raised his fist right in front of Sunset's face, surprising her. But then Sunset just smirked as she lowered Sonic's hand away from her as she said, "But I would tone down the temper if I were you. Don't want other people to think that you don't belong here, now do you?"

"This boy's obviously from another world, but I don't think I've seen him in Equestria," Sunset pondered in her head.

Sunset then turned to Twilight, "You want to be a princess here? Please," she said, "You don't know the first thing about fitting in."

Sunset then said to Sonic, "Oh, and as for you, do not stand in my way again."

"Or what? You're gonna kill me?" Sonic asked.

Sunset went a little wide-eyed, but then scoffed and she held Sonic's chin again, making him growl more, "Such harsh words, Sonic. I'm not a monster. But if I see you again, you better learn to give me some respect. And remember, stay out of my way."

Then Sunset walked away. After she left, Sonic knew he had to calm down. He turned and said to Twilight, "We need to talk."

"I was just about to say the same thing," Twilight said.

Sunset walked through the hallways until she came across her two teen lackeys, Snips and Snails, completely wrapped up in streamers. She unraveled and they both spun in a couple tornados. She then stopped them and they instantly became dizzy until they snapped out of it.

"I want you to follow her," Sunset ordered, "Bring me something I can use just like you did with the last girl who thought she could challenge me."

"You got it, Sunset Shimmer," Snips said.

"Oh, and keep an eye out for that Sonic character, I seriously believe he could be a true threat to my plans," Sunset added.

"Right!" Snips said.

"Duh, what does he look like?" Snails asked.

"That's right, they don't know who he is… yet," Sunset thought.

"Blue spiked hair, blue cut-sleeve jacket and white shirt, you can't miss him," she explained.

"Got it!" Snails said.

Sunset turned away from them, "When the crown and its power is mine, Twilight Sparkle will be sorry she EVER set hoof into this world. Not that she'd have been much safer if she'd stayed in Equestria."

Snips laughed, snapping Sunset back to reality, "Yeah, in Equestria."

"What are you still doing here? GO!" Sunset ordered.

Snips and Snails started to run, but slammed into each other and got dizzy again. They snapped out of it and ran towards the hallway Sunset came from.

"Sonic…what ARE you? And why can YOU have these powers here?" Sunset thought to herself.

Meanwhile, Twilight stood there waiting for answers from Sonic. "Come on, Sonic. Tell me who you really are and why you're here," she said eagerly.

Sonic took a deep breath and spoke, "You see, Twilight, I'm not actually from this world. I'm from a world called Mobius," he said.

Twilight gasped in surprise as Sonic continued, "Back at my home, I'm not a human, I'm a hedgehog and a hero."

"Hedgehog? You're not like any regular hedgehog, are you?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah, I'm actually a blue hedgehog, and I move fast, faster than the speed of sound, to be precise," Sonic explained.

"Well, then, how did you get here?" Twilight asked.

"My brother Tails had made a machine designed to travel to different dimensions, but the energy from the Chaos Emeralds had caused it to malfunction and send me here to this world," Sonic explained.

"What are Chaos Emeralds?" Twilight asked a little worried.

Sonic dug into his backpack and pulled out the green emerald. "This is a Chaos Emerald," he said.

Twilight's dog, which was in her backpack, starred at the emerald and his eyes grew big. Sonic noticed that and lowered the emerald a little. "Umm, little doggy?" he asked, "Why is you staring at it?"

"Because it's a gem and I want to eat it," the dog spoke, "And my name's Spike."

"Spike, why do you want to eat the emerald?" Sonic asked.

"Back where I come from, I'm a little fire-breathing dragon and I eat gems," Spike answered.

"Oh," Sonic said, "Well, just remember, THIS gem is important. I need to hold onto it, okay?"

Spike nodded as Sonic went back to explaining, "The Chaos Emeralds are powerful emeralds created to have the ability to transfer your thoughts into power. Each of them holds two kinds of energy, positive and negative. Positive reacts to those who are full of hope, kindness, caring, and pure heart. "Wow, I've never heard of anything so powerful before in my life," Twilight said, "How many of them are there?"

"There are only seven of them, but don't underestimate their power," Sonic said, "In fact, I have all seven of them with me right now."

He placed down the green emerald and pulled out the rest. Twilight and Spike were awestruck by their glow. Then they all started to rise into the air and move in a circle very slowly, making them even more awestruck.

"My goodness, they're amazing," Twilight said, "What else can they do, Sonic?"

"They give us their energy to make ourselves powerful. Each one of them contains an element," Sonic said, "Mostly fire, lightning, ice, earth, and more."

"What exactly happens when someone collects all seven at once?" Spike asked.

"Well, when one person collects all seven emeralds," Sonic explained, "…they would become so powerful and strong, they'd pretty much be invincible."

Twilight and Spike gasped. "Whoa…" they said.

"Me and my friends also use them to travel in time, and they even bring people back from the dead," Sonic said.

"WHAT?!' Twilight exclaimed, "That's impossible! Nothing can bring people back to life!"

"Oh, do trust me, anything is possible with the Chaos Emeralds," Sonic said smirking.

Twilight nodded understanding. Then she noticed Sonic's medallion under his bandana was showing a small sign of blue energy. "Hey, Sonic, why is that medallion glowing?"

Sonic looked at his medallion then back at Twilight, "Maybe I'll show you."

He then rubbed his medallion and it suddenly glowed bright blue. Twilight and Spike covered their eyes. When the light was gone, they gasped. Sonic was now holding an awesome looking guitar. Its neck was bright yellow, parts of the body were purple and red, and it looked like it had spines of a hedgehog at the end.

"Whoa, dude, that is awesome!" Spike said, "What is it?"

"This is my guitar," Sonic answered smirking, "I used this as my instrument for something that me and my siblings were in. It was called The Sonic Underground. I used this in songs, and other times as a weapon."

"How is this even a weapon?" Twilight asked.

"It may look just like a guitar," Sonic said, "But it's also a laser blaster."

"It's a what?" Spike asked.

"Never mind," Sonic said, "Now, Twilight, while you and Sunset were arguing, you were talking about a world called Equestria, you said 'somepony', and were arguing about this crown. Tell me, are the crown, the two of you, and Sunset from this 'Equestria'?"

Twilight and Spike stood silent for a moment until they nodded yes.

"So what did you mean by some-pony?" Sonic asked.

"You see, Equestria is a world of ponies. I was a princess alicorn there. I came here to retrieve my crown from Sunset Shimmer," Twilight said.

"What's so important about this crown?" Sonic asked.

"It's not a normal crown, Sonic. It's my Element of Harmony," Twilight answered.

"Oh, yeah, that reminds me," Sonic said, "What exactly is an Element of Harmony?"

"It's a magical element that brought all of peace and harmony to each and every place of Equestria," Twilight said.

"I see," Sonic said, "Oh, um, remember when earlier you met me and Pinkie?"

Twilight nodded. "How did you know her name? And Applejack's too? And what was with you holding that pen in your mouth?" Sonic asked.

"Well, first off, where I come from, the students and possibly everypony- or everyone from this world, are ponies there like me," Twilight said, "And second, I have no idea what the heck I turned into."

"You're a human," Sonic said.

"What's a human?" Twilight asked curiously.

"Humans are mammals like you, but they're very different from you. They have to wear clothes if they go anywhere in public. They walk on two feet and pick things up with their hands," Sonic said.

"Hands?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah," Sonic said as he held up his right hand, "This is a hand."

"This is beginning to make sense now," Twilight said, "Hey, what's that?"

Sonic looked at what Twilight was looking at. It appeared to be a type of machine, and it was chock full of snacks. Twilight wanted to have one or two, but there was a problem; a glass window protected the snacks. Twilight went over and pushed and pulled the machine, trying to snack the snacks out, but nothing happened. She pressed herself against the machine; she really wanted a snack so badly.

"Uh, Twilight?" Sonic said.

Twilight wasn't paying attention to Sonic as she turned back right the machine, bent herself down, and readied her legs to smash the machine.

"Twilight! What are you doing?!" Sonic said louder.

"Excuse me," someone said.

Sonic, Twilight, and Spike looked and saw a blue-skinned girl with white hair with a purple star hairclip, and purple eyes. She was wearing a blue jacket, a purple skirt with cyan details and a symbol of a wand, and purple and blue boots.

"Can we help you?" Sonic asked.

The girl only walked past the group and stopped in front of the machine. "The Great and Powerful TRRRRIXIE!" she said while shifting her fingers before shifting her eyes back and fourth, "Needs some peanut butter crackers."

Trixie took out a coin, inserted it into the machine, and retrieved her prize, "Voilà!"

She was about to leave when she saw Sonic, "Ah, you must be the other new student. Sonic, right?"

"Yeah," Sonic answered.

"A true pleasure to meet you," Trixie said, "And I do have to say, you do look pretty cute. Especially with your hair and emerald eyes."

"Lay off," Sonic said.

"What makes you think you can give me orders?" Trixie asked with a smirk.

"Nothing," Sonic began, "I would just prefer that you don't bother us."

"Us?" Trixie asked smirking, "Are you and this girl together?"

THAT made Twilight perk up and blush intensely. Sonic scoffed, "No. Just leave, or I'll have to use my mouth on you."

Twilight wasn't scared. "Pah, you think words are going to make me leave?" Trixie asked.

"Well, let me ask you this; what kind of a name is Trixie?" Sonic asked.

"What are you talking about? It's a very good name, duh," Trixie scoffed.

"Well, the 'Trix' part sounds like a type of cereal, and the last part only has the 'e' sound while it has an 'I' and 'e'," Sonic said.

Trixie perked up at that, "Well that makes sense, but-"

Sonic cut her sentence off, "And let me guess, you like being the number one nerd in this entire school."

Trixie began to blush in embarrassment, "Why-! I-! You take that back!"

"How about you just have your snack and get out of here?" Sonic asked, "You're not worth my time."

Trixie couldn't take this any longer. She scoffed again, "Hmph, fine. This was just a waste of time, anyway."

Trixie left them annoyed at being mocked by Sonic. Twilight then just frowned, "Sunset Shimmer is right. I don't know the first thing about this place."

"Don't worry, Twilight," Sonic said, "You'll figure it out."

Twilight smiled, "Thanks, Sonic."

"So… now what?" Sonic asked.

"If I'm going to really fit in and win votes, we need to do some research," Twilight answered.

"Research?" Spike asked.

"This place is a school. I have to believe it's got a…" before Twilight could continue, she saw an open double door set, "Library!"

Twilight rushed into the library. Before Sonic could even follow, he heard someone from behind him, "Ahem."

Sonic turned around and saw Celestia.

"Hello, Sonic," Celestia said, "I was looking for you."

"You were, how come?" Sonic asked a bit surprised.

"Coach Soarin heard about you, he wants to test your limits," Celestia explained, then noticed Sonic's guitar in his hand, "Oh my, is that yours?"

"Yeah, this is," Sonic answered, "It's my guitar. I've played with this bad boy ever since I got it."

"Okay, well, shall I take you to Coach Soarin?" Celesta asked.

"All right," Sonic said as he and Celestia began to walk.

About two or three minutes later, Celestia and Sonic were in a workout room full of workout equipment. Then a male adult wearing gym clothes came out of a closet, "Hello, Principle Celestia, is this the new student?" he asked.

"Yes, Soarin, this is Sonic," Celestia answered, then turned to Sonic, "Be careful."

Sonic nodded as he walked to Coach Soarin and held out his hand for a handshake, "Nice to meet you, Coach."

"Nice to meet you too, Sonic," Coach Soarin replied as he shook his hand, "I've heard that you're new here, and I wanted to test you out."

"Sure, anything you want me to do, I'll do it. What would you like me to do?" Sonic asked.

"First, let's test your strength. Put some weights on that bar. Let me see how many lifts you can do," Coach Soarin said pointing at a bar with weights beside it, "Oh, and put the guitar down, please."

Sonic nodded as he put down his guitar and walked over to the bar. He placed 125 pounds on each side and laid down and was about to start to lift the bar when Coach Soarin spoke, "Whoa, wait a minute. Are you sure you want to lift that much, Sonic? That's 250 pounds in total. No one has ever lifted that much before."

Sonic smirked, "100% sure, Coach."

Sonic then placed his hands on the bar and started lifting. Coach Soarin was awestruck by this as he kept counting how many lifts Sonic was doing. "33, 34, 35… my goodness. He's stronger than I thought," he thought.

As Sonic continued, some students who were walking by saw him lifting a lot of weights. They came inside the room and watched him still lifting. They were shocked at this. A new student was now making the school's newest weight lifting record.

Soon, Sonic stopped as he reached 75 lifts. As he placed the bar down and stood up, Coach Soarin was completely astonished. "I… I… This is incredible!" He exclaimed.

"You okay, Coach?" Sonic asked.

"Uh… ahem, sorry. It's just that you became the school's newest record of weight lifting. I mean, not even Applejack can lift that much," Coach Soarin explained.

Then a certain cowgirl came in the room. It was Applejack. "Coach Soarin, what was his record?"

Coach Soarin hesitated for a moment until he spoke, "250 pounds and 75 lifts."

Applejack was wide-eyed by his answer, "Wait, seriously? Sonic, is that true?"

Sonic smirked, "Watch me," he answered.

He bent down forward and jumped in the air doing a dozen backflips and landing right in front of the bar. Everyone's jaws dropped at what they just saw him do. Sonic was about to lie down when Applejack walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder, getting his attention.

"No need, partner," she said with a sheep smile, "I'm pretty sure that you're honest."

"All right, then," Sonic said as he then turned to Coach Soarin, "Have any other ways to test me, Coach?"

Coach Soarin thought for a moment and said, "Well, since I saw how strong you are, I'd like to see how fast you are."

Sonic smirked right when he heard that, "Oh ho-ho-ho, then you just made the right choice,' he said.

"All right, then follow me," Coach said as he led Sonic to a door that went outside.

"Coach Soarin," one of the other students said getting him and Sonic's attention, "Is it okay if we come and watch?"

"Sure," Coach Soarin answered as he lead Sonic and the group walked outside.

They were all outside the back of the school. The backyard was a massive field. It had a soccer field and an Olympics looking track. Sonic liked the way the field looked. The students and Applejack walked over to the bleachers and watched as Sonic got into position.

Applejack just kept looking at Sonic. She was still thinking about him, but also how he lifted so much weight.

On the track, Sonic prepared himself for his sprint. Coach Soarin held out a flag, "Ready, Sonic? This is your chance to beat Rainbow Dash's record," he said.

"What was her record?" Sonic asked.

"Ten seconds," Coach Soarin answered, "Now, ready?"

Sonic nodded and turned his head to the track ready to run.

"Set," Coach Soarin said as he rose the flag higher in the air.

Sonic positioned himself for the run.

"GO!" Coach Soarin shouted as he waved the flag and started recording a timer.

Sonic sprint up and took off across the track at high speeds. He moved so fast, he caused a gust of wind, making Coach Soarin fall over. The students watched in utter shock, "HOLY!" they shouted.

Sonic ran around the entire track in a solid eight seconds, "Too easy."

"No way! Eight seconds? You just broke Rainbow's record," Coach Soarin shouted, "Man, not only are you the newest strongest in this school, but you're also the fastest too. I really have to admit I'm impressed. "

"Rainbow Dash is not gonna be happy about this," Applejack said interfering.

"Wait, why?" Sonic asked.

"No one has ever beaten her or any of her records before," Applejack explained.

"Oh…" Sonic said, "Then I guess she's gonna hate me…" he scratched the back of his head worried.

"Either that, or she'll just be mad at you," Applejack said.

Sonic nodded while understanding. "Well, this was fun. I'm glad you tested me out, Coach. "I'll see you around."

"Wait, Sonic," Applejack stopped him.

Sonic turned around and saw Applejack holding his guitar, "Is this yours?"

"Whoops, I almost forgot about it, thanks," Sonic said as he retrieved it.

"It looks amazing," Applejack said, "I've never seen an instrument like this in my life."

Sonic placed his guitars safety ropes around his neck, "Thanks, AJ. Well, I better get going. I need to find Twilight."

As he started to walk away, he winked at Applejack with a smile. Applejack was surprised, but she smiled and blushed. "Oh shucks, sugar cube," she thought.

Then as Sonic walked inside, he went to little task. "All right, now to find Twilight," Sonic said to himself, "The library must be somewhere in this hallway."

He then remembered something. He looked at his wrist and he still had his TSP watch, but it was out of power. "Oh great, just great," he said as he placed his hand in his pocket.

His hand then touched something inside his pocket. He pulled it out and it was an iPhone with songs. Some were ones that he and his friends did. Sonic smiled. He then put his phone away.

Sonic then held his guitar out in front of him as it began to glow bright blue. It transformed back to its medallion form and went around Sonic's neck. And Sonic walked down to find Twilight.

Sonic wondered on and on and on until he finally found the same library where Twilight went into earlier.

"Finally, now Twilight should be in here somewhere," Sonic said.

He entered the library and he was amazed by what he saw. It was a library, but it looked like an unusual library. It was enormous with what looked like it had about fifty bookshelves. There were desks with lamps and computers, and as well a second floor above the exit doors with more shelves.

"Wow, this is the hugest library I've ever seen," Sonic thought, "Well, time to look for Twilight."

Before he began to walk, he, as well as possibly everyone else nearly jumped out of their skin when there was loud hark rock music playing from a computer with three preteen girls dancing along with the music. One girl had banana pale greyish olive skin, amaranth red hair with a large pink bow in it, and gamboge-orange eyes. She was wearing a sea-foam green T-shirt, Aegean blue jeans with a cedar brown belt around her waist, and marigold-orange and candy-red mud boots.

The second preteen girl had pure white skin, parakeet green eyes, and iris purple curly hair with flamingo pink streaks and a pinkish red hair ribbon. She was wearing a magenta pink short-sleeved coat over a white and rose pink striped shirt, a bright blonde yellow skirt with a magenta pink belt around her waist with a white "o" looking buckle on the side, and magenta pink boots with bright blonde yellow buckles around them.

The third preteen girl had tangerine orange skin, messy magenta purple hair, and heather purple eyes. She was wearing a short sleeve stone grey jacket with a color of teal blue on the bottom and at the outlines of the sleeves, a white and teal blue striped wrist band on her left wrist, pear green pants with the legs ripped up to the knees, and stone grey boots with cyan outlines on the top of them.

The girls continued to play with the music until a certain woman face-palmed at the group's childishness and intervened by turning the music off; Ms. Cheerilee.

"Girls, what are you doing?" Cheerilee asked them.

"We're just seeing how many hits our new music video has gotten," the white-skinned girl answered.

The yellow-skinned girl was about to turn the speaker back on when she, her friends, and Cheerilee heard the sound of someone tapping their foot. They all turned to see Sonic with a slight normal look.

"I really hate to disappoint you three, but we would prefer that if you would want to listen to music like this, maybe doing it at home would be much better because that really hurt my ears," Sonic said.

"Oh! Hey, Sonic!" Cheerilee said sounding happy to see him, "How is your day going?"

"Hey, Ms. Cheerilee. My day is going great. I've made quite a lot of friends today," Sonic said.

"That's great," Cheerilee said happily.

"Hey, we know you!" the orange-skinned girl said.

"Wait, you've heard of me?" Sonic asked curiously.

"Yeah, many of the students here at CHS is talking about a blue haired newbie that had broken some of the PE records today," the yellow-skinned girl spoke in a western voice.

"Ah, okay, that makes more sense," Sonic replied, "So, what are your names?"

"Name's Scootaloo," the orange-skinned girl said.

"I'm Sweetie Belle," the white-skinned girl spoke.

"Apple Bloom," the yellow-skinned girl replied last.

"My name's Sonic," Sonic spoke to the three.

"Sonic… that name actually fits with you very perfectly!" Scootaloo.

Sonic smiled, "Thanks. But I think you should respect what Ms. Cheerilee has to say, okay?"

The three preteen girls nodded in agreement, "All right."

Cheerilee smiled at Sonic's normal attitude, "How kind and wise of you, Sonic."

"Thanks," Sonic replied.

Cheerilee turned around and walked away. Sonic then heard a familiar voice behind him, "Hey, Sonic."

Sonic turned around and saw Twilight and Spike still inside the library. "Hey, you two," he said.

While they were talking, they didn't notice that they were being watched. Snips and Snails were in the shadows. They were recording them with their phones.

"Okay, we'll have to settle here for the night," Twilight said.

She and Spike turned around to look for something. Before Sonic could follow, something caught his ear. He turned and saw what surprised him. It was an Egg Fighter walking past the doors.

"Umm, Twilight?" Sonic said.

"Yeah?" Twilight asked.

"I'll be right back, there's something that I need to do quickly first," Sonic said.

"Oh, uh, okay. Just make sure you quickly come back before the library closes," Twilight said.

With that, Sonic ran out the doors to follow the Egg Fighter. "What's one of Eggman's robots doing here?" he thought.

"Hey, where's he going?" Snips asked.

"Duh, I don't know," Snails said.

Snails decided to follow Sonic while Snips stayed back and continued to record Twilight.

The Egg Fighter stomped through the halls with a sword and an arm cannon. "Searching for target," it said.

Then something hit it and damaged it. It turned around and saw Sonic in a fighting stance. It couldn't recognize him since he was a human. "Target detected. Capture."

It aimed its cannon at Sonic and fired an electric energy ball, but Sonic ducked underneath it. He stood back up and taunted the Egg Fighter, "Is that all you got, pal?"

Snails was hiding behind the corner seeing Sonic was going to fight the Egg Fighter. He was awestruck. He wanted to make sure he got every part of this. "Duh, imagine the hits I'll get with this video!" he thought excitedly.

He recorded as Sonic charged at the Egg Fighter. It pulled out its sword and swung it at Sonic, but Sonic jumped onto it and stomped on its head. He jumped off and did three backflips.

"Hold still," the Egg Fighter said as it pointed its cannon.

It fired its cannon at Sonic, but he moved his body aside, moving out of the way in super speed, and it only looked like the beam slowed down. The cannon charged again, and Sonic quickly built blue energy in his hand, put it behind him, and threw it forward, "Sonic Wind!"

The wind hit the blast and caused the Egg Fighter to fall on its back. Snails was shocked, "Duh, what just happened?! I didn't even see him do anything!" he thought as he continued recording.

The Egg fighter got back up on its feet, "Now you will be terminated, fool!"

It pointed its cannon again, but this time, Sonic rubbed his medallion. It transformed to its guitar form. He then pointed at the Egg Fighter. "What is that going to do?" it asked.

Sonic smirked, "This."

He then placed his hand at the back of the guitar and it touched a gun handle where the beginnings of the strings were. His finger pulled a trigger, and it fired a blue laser out of the end of the neck at the Egg Fighter. The Egg Fighter lost one of his arms.

"How'd you like a taste of your own medicine?" Sonic asked smirking.

He then fired again, but the Egg Fighter activated a laser shield around it. The blast bounced off and thrust back at Sonic, and he dodged it, "Hey, come on, man! That's playing dirty!"

His guitar turned back to its medallion form and Sonic dug into his backpack and pulled out a power ring. It then glowed brightly and Sonic curved into a blue spiky ball rolling in the air. He then thrust at the Egg Fighter with its shield still up. When he hit the shield, it was destroyed and the spiky ball Sonic hit the Egg Fighter in the center of the front.

Sonic jumped back and smirked. The Egg Fighter was now serious. "I WILL HAVE TO HAVE YOU UNCONCIOUS!"

The Egg fighter pulled out it sword and its blade electricity crackling around it. Sonic wasn't surprised. "So you want to settle this, beam sword style? All right, then," he said.

Sonic put the ring away and pulled out his beam sword. He activated it and stood in a fighting stance. Snails was still recording, but was shocked. "Duh, he must be really powerful!" he thought.

The Egg Fighter charged at Sonic with its sword and swung, but Sonic blocked with his beam sword. Then they kept trying to hit each other while their weapons kept colliding. They were making loud humming and clashing noises.

The Egg Fighter tripped Sonic to the floor and Sonic fell on his back. The robot swung its sword down at him, but Sonic quickly blocked it and sliced the other arm off the Egg Fighter. He then jumped up onto his feet and put his beam sword away.

"Time to end this," he thought.

Sonic pulled out the blue Chaos Emerald and held it tightly in his hand. The emerald glowed brightly and Sonic's body was beginning to be surrounded by a blue aura. Snails kept recording. He wanted people to see this.

The Egg Fighter stepped back. Sonic smirked. "Ha ha! See ya, buddy!"

The energy charged up and Sonic thrust at the Egg Fighter and he did his homing attack at it and shot straight through. The Egg Fighter blew up in pieces. And the aura around Sonic disappeared.

"Hmm, can't leave this mess just lying here," Sonic said.

Sonic quickly used his speed all the pieces of the Egg Fighter out of the school and clean off the dirt from the smoke from the floor and walls.

"All right, now that it's done, I'd better get back to Twilight," Sonic said panting a bit.

He ran back to the library, but he didn't see Snails from behind the corner. He snickered, "Duh, now that I have everything that I saw, Sunset Shimmer will be pleased."

Then Snips found him. "Snails, did you get everything you need?" he asked.

"Duh, yeah. I got everything," Snails answered.

They both walked off to find Sunset Shimmer.

Meanwhile, Sonic got back to the library. He opened the doors and saw Twilight and Spike reading a book. Spike saw that Sonic was panting and sweating. "Hey, Sonic, where'd you go? And why do you look tired?" he asked.

Sonic didn't want Twilight or Spike to know what happened. "I was just jogging for quite a bit and it really tired me out," he answered.

"Um…ok," Twilight replied.

Sonic sighed in relief. He sat down with Twilight and picked up a book of his own.

"The library will be closing in five minutes," a female voice said on a loud speaker.

Later when it became nighttime, Twilight closed her book and yawned in her head. Strangely, Sonic did the same, "I haven't even thought of where we're gonna sleep in the library for the night," Twilight said.

"Unfortunately, neither have I," Sonic said.

Spike came out from under a table with a smile on his face, "Way ahead of you two."

Twilight and Sonic raised an eyebrow in Spike's direction and turned to look at each other.

They made it to some of the higher levels of the library with a book in Twilight's arms and walked up to Spike with two tarps, both concealing something. Spike reached one of his paws and removed the tarp with a cloud of dust filling the air, revealing two makeshift beds with a bunch of books.

"It's a little *cough* dusty. But it doesn't seem like anybody comes up here," Spike said.

Twilight sat down on a book bed and examined it, not finding any errors. She smiled, "It's perfect, Spike."

Sonic did the same thing Twilight did, "Yep, no problem."

Spike stuck his tongue out like a dog should and Twilight scratched his head, and he fell to the floor from how good it felt.

"So how did your research go?" Spike asked.

"I found this book. It's called a yearbook." Twilight began, "It seems to be something they used to keep a record of things that have happened at the school."

She flipped some pages until she found something familiar to her, "Spike, look, that's Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and I'm gonna guess the girl on the far right is Rarity."

Spike perked up and snatched the book out of Twilight's hands with his tail wagging, "There's a Rarity here?!"

He soon caught onto his own mistake and turned to give the book back to Twilight, "Uh, I mean, uh, interesting photo."

Twilight just rolled her eyes.

"I still don't quite get it, Twilight," Sonic said, "How do you know who they are? Did you even meet them before you met me?"

"Actually, like I said earlier, back where I come from, there are ponies versions of them," Twilight answered.

"Oh…" Sonic said understanding, "Okay, now I get it."

"It's interesting because they look like they're friends," Twilight said.

"They DO look like our friends. But I thought we figured that out already," Spike replied.

"No, I mean, they look like they're friends with each other. But it doesn't seem they're friends now," Twilight said as she sat the book, resting her head on her hand, looking depressed.

"Not so much," Spike added.

Twilight plopped down on her bed, "I just can't help but get the feeling that Sunset Shimmer had something to do with it," she said as she put her hands behind her head.

"I wouldn't put it past her," Spike began as he pulled up one of the tarps as a blanket, "But she wanted your cause she's planning on doing something even worse. If you're gonna stop her, you have to focus on making friends here. You can't worry about why these girls aren't friends anymore."

Twilight looked at the photo once more and Spike began to yawn as Spike finished, "Even if they do remind you of your Ponyville friends."

"Ponyville? Maybe that's the name of her town where she lives," Sonic thought.

Twilight smiled, "You're right, Spike. Eye on the prize," she sighed looking at the moon in the sky through a large ball window.

Twilight then looked at Sonic as he got onto his book bed and pulled up the other carp as a blanket. She then asked, "Sonic, do you think you can be able to help me beat Sunset Shimmer?"

Sonic smiled, "I was once told, helping is always the right thing to do, so of course I'll help you. I think once we find the girls, we need to reunite them."

Twilight smiled as she blushed, "Well, good night, Sonic," she said as she fell asleep.

"Good night, Twilight," Sonic said.

As Twilight and Spike drifted to sleep, Sonic thought in his mind, "I guess I really was wrong. School is actually a good thing after all."

Sonic then looked up at the moon through the window as he fell fast asleep.

Tails was in his house with his head on his desk still feeling sad about what happened. "Oh, how could I let this happen? Sonic's right to be mad at me. I'm the one who is responsible for all of this."

Tails looked at his TSP watch and sighed sadly. He knew that he couldn't make contact with Sonic if he was in another universe. "Sonic, where are you?"

In the morning, Twilight began to stir, slowly opening her eyes and waking up from her sleep. She saw Sonic sleeping peacefully on the book bed beside hers. Twilight thought it was cute. "Awww!" she cooed.

"Shh!" Spike whispered," You'll wake him up."

Then they both saw Sonic's eyes slowly opening. Sonic yawned as he woke up from his sleep. "Wow, what a great sleep," he said as he then turned to Twilight and Spike, "Hey, you guys."

"Hey, Sonic," Twilight replied, "Think you can come help me find some votes?"

"Sure," Sonic said.

As down rose up in the sky, students came walking to Canterlot High. Then a voice said on the speaker, "Good morning, students, and happy Thursday. Just a reminder to pick up your ballots for the Princess of the Fall Formal today, they are due by the time the dance starts tomorrow night, so don't forget to turn them in and make your voice heard."

"Fluttershy said I'd need to over all those different groups if I want to become Princess of the Fall Formal, so I've compiled a list of talking points," Twilight said holding a bunch of papers in her hand.

Spike laughed, "You made a list? That's so unlike you."

Twilight turned around with a serious look on her face, lowered her backpack open, and pointed in it, telling Spike to get inside it. Spike made a sheepish laugh, "Uh. Please. Continue."

"I'll start introducing myself," Twilight explained, "Sprinkle in some of things I've learned about their world into the conversation. Show them how I fit in here."

Twilight walked towards the doors and then stopped. Sonic then walked over to her and placed his hand on her shoulder, "You can do it, Twilight. I believe in you," he said.

Twilight nodded as she then looked at the door. She then took a deep breath. "Okay, guys," she said as she opened the doors, "Time to make a good first impression on my fellow students."

Twilight gazed out into the hallway, as she then turned to Spike and Sonic, "The whole world sort of depends on it."

"You go ahead," Sonic said, "I think my medallion's still upstairs."

"All right," Twilight said as she walked out of the library.

Sonic quickly rushed up to grab his medallion and put it on. Twilight was a little bit ahead, but Sonic decided to walk. As Twilight walked past some students, they started to laugh at her, making her feel strange about this. But then, when they saw Sonic walk past them, they all stared at him with awe-like expressions and began to whisper amongst themselves.

"Look! It's Sonic from the video!" one male student said.

"Yeah! How did he turn into a blue ball with that ring and take down that robot?" another asked.

"Is it weird that his guitar is actually a necklace and a laser blaster?" a female asked.

"What was that laser sword he used?" another asked.

"Where did he get that gem he had and why did it glow?" another male said.

Twilight stopped in her tracks and saw this. Sonic walked up to her and asked whispering, "Um, Twilight, what's going on?"

"I don't know," Twilight whispered back, "Just a second ago, everybody was looking at me and laughing, but now they seem to be talking about you."

"What are they even talking about? I can barely hear a-" Sonic's sentence was cut off as a hand grabbed Sonic's arm and another grabbed Twilight's arm, and they were pulled into a room, "WHOA!"

Sonic and Twilight slipped a little and had bumped into a table. Sonic's head had bumped into a pile of books, knocking them over. Twilight quickly hid Spike in her backpack.

"What the-? Hey! What was that for-?" Sonic had stopped midsentence when he and Twilight turned to see who it was that snatched them had quickly shut the door and leaned against it.

It was a girl with pure white skin like Sweetie Belle, slightly dark violet purple curly hair with a cerulean blue triple-diamond hairclip resting at front, and cobalt blue eyes. She was wearing a light pale blue shirt that had elbow-length sleeves, an iris purple skirt with three arctic blue diamonds, around her waist was an dark violet purple designer belt with a cerulean blue belt buckle, on both her wrists were bright golden yellow bracelets, she was also wearing long violet purple boots with iris purple outlines at the top and a arctic blue diamond centerpiece on each boot.

"Rarity?" Twilight asked as Spike poked his head out of Twilight's bag.

Sonic then remembered the photo he saw in the yearbook and knew Twilight was right. That girl was Rarity.

Rarity quickly approached them with a measuring tape. She measured the length of their clothes, checked the size of their heads, and examined their footwear.

"Um, what are you doing?" Sonic asked, but got no answer.

Rarity put her hand to her chin, pondering something. She then put her finger in the air, as if she figured out something. She then rushed to her bag and bent down to dig something. She threw aside a couple pieces of clothing until she found what she was looking for.

"Perfect," she said.

She approached Sonic and Twilight with whatever she got, "Wait, what are ya-?" Sonic's sentence was cut off when Rarity had swung something onto Twilight.

Then in an instant, Twilight was now wearing a light and dark green outfit with a belt with a spiky sun symbol in the center around her waist and a long blonde wig. The only thing she still had was her backpack with Spike still in it.

"Ooh, yes. This is good. No one will recognize you," Rarity said with a smile.

"Um, why wouldn't she want to be-?" Sonic started, but was cut off.

"And we'll need a disguise for your dog, Twilight," Rarity started as she bopped Spike's nose with her finger and scratched his chin with both her hands, "Which is too bad, he really is so adorable."

She then turned to Sonic and blushed, "Oh, I do wish I had something for you, but… oh, it's so nice to meet you, Sonic darling."

Sonic blushed a bit at what she said, "Uh, thanks… I guess… Rarity, right?"

"Indeed, and has nobody ever called you handsome before?" Rarity said and asked blushing as she touched Sonic's cheek.

Sonic's blush increased as he placed his hand on his head, "Uh… maybe?"

Then Rarity put her hand on her chin for a moment, and then had her finger in the air. She quickly ran back to her bag and found something, "I have just the thing."

"Oh, for the love of-YIKES!" Sonic yelped when Rarity had instantly put something on him.

Sonic was now wearing a crimson red jacket, a merigold shirt, shadow grey pants, and the strangest thing was he was wearing a wig that looked just like the hair for Shadow if he was a human.

"There you go, Sonic," Rarity said, "Now no one will recognize you or Twilight."

"Umm, thanks," Sonic said, "I really appreciate it, and your help, but…" his sentence was cut off by Rarity.

"You know, Twilight, with a little work, I think I can your dog look like a rabbit instead," the girl suggested while standing in a fashion-looking pose.

"Huh?" Spike said as he fell out of Twilight's backpack and fell to the floor with a "Thud!"

"A rabbit?" Twilight asked confused, while Sonic gave the same look she had.

It was then a certain blonde-haired cowgirl walked in the door, "Twilight. Sonic. There you two are."

Sonic and Twilight turned around to see it was Applejack while Rarity crossed her arms, "So much for the disguise."

"I've been lookin' all over for you two," Applejack said as she walked into the room.

Fluttershy then appeared just outside the side of the door, "Me too."

Pinkie Pie suddenly appeared hanging upside down from above the door with a smile on her face, surprising Fluttershy, "Me three!"

Twilight stood beside Sonic when Pinkie rushed up to look them over, with that smile of hers as bright as ever, "I like your new looks."

"I do have an eye for these sorts of things," Rarity commented, butting into the conversation, "Not that you seem to care."

"What?!" Pinkie exclaimed at that blunt remark.

"Why do you think she doesn't care?" Twilight asked curiously.

Pinkie bit her lower lip in frustration, while Fluttershy put her hands over her mouth and Applejack desperately motioned to Twilight not to ask.

"No, never mind. Why were you all looking for us?" Twilight asked as she took off her wig.

"What's going on?" Sonic asked as he took off his wig.

"Oh, they haven't seen it yet," Fluttershy said.

Twilight and Sonic looked at each other then both asked at the same time, "Seen what?"

Pinkie pulled out a pink laptop that belonged to her and opened it. "Oh, it's really not that bad," she giggled nervously as she finished.

Sunset's voice spoke as Pinkie played a video from the Internet, "Twilight Sparkle wants to be your Fall Formal Princess."

As the video played, it showed some embarrassing footage of Twilight. "But what does it say about our school if we give someone like this-" Sunset's voice said as it showed a very embarrassing freeze frame of Twilight with a book in her mouth, "such an important honor? Oh, and look, Sonic wants to be her friend," one last freeze frame but of Twilight and Sonic came and the video ended.

Twilight gasped in horror and shock by what she had just seen. "I… I…" she stammered as Sonic quickly closed the laptop.

"I take it back. It's pretty bad," Pinkie commented.

"But all this happened yesterday. At the library," Twilight suddenly became nervous as she turned to her friends, "Has everyone in the school seen this? Is that why they were all looking at me that way?"

"Mmmm…" the four girls hummed.

"Wait a minute," Sonic interrupted to get the girls' attention, "If this is about Twilight, then why am I wearing a disguise?"

"Well, since you were in the video, people would laugh at you for being friends with Twilight," Rarity answered.

Sonic nodded as he sat down in a desk away from the group so they could talk. But he listened.

"What am I gonna do? No one is going to vote for me after seeing this!" Twilight said worriedly, motioning to the laptop.

Fluttershy walked up to Twilight, "Not that it'll make any difference, but I'll still vote for you."

Twilight just slammed her head onto the desk.

"You were so nice to stand up for me when Sunset Shimmer was picking on me yesterday," Fluttershy added and suddenly blushed, "Especially you, S-Sonic. You deserved that little kiss that I gave you."

Sonic smiled and gave her a thumbs up. That was when everyone else looked at Fluttershy. "You kissed him?" Twilight asked.

"Only for defending her from Sunset," Sonic said as he held his hand out, "Calm down."

"If you still want to run, maybe there's something I can do to help," Pinkie offered for Twilight.

"Word of advice, don't accept her help. She doesn't take anything seriously," Fluttershy advised bluntly to Twilight.

Pinkie scoffed, "Why do you have to be so awful to me?!" she asked as she stomped her right foot on the floor.

"Oh, pphht!" Rarity remarked, brushing off what Pinkie said, "Don't play innocent, Pinkie Pie. You're NO better than she is," she finished while pointing at Fluttershy.

"And what is THAT supposed to mean?!" Pinkie asked in a raised voice in Rarity's face.

"I am happy to offer up my assistance as well. To someone who would APPRECIATE what I have to offer!" Rarity countered.

Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rarity began to bicker themselves. Spike panicked, jumped into Twilight's backpack and zipped it up for good measure.

Applejack finally spoke, "Listen to y'all carryin' on!"

All eyes were on Applejack.

"Get over it and move on!" Applejack said as she dropped an apple core in a trash bin, looking away with her eyes closed and her arms crossed.

"You mean like how YOU'VE gotten over what happened with Rainbow Dash?" Rarity accused.

Applejack's eyes snapped open, "She said she'd get the softball team to make an appearance at my back sale, Ah tell everybody they're comin', and not one of 'em shows up. She made a liar outta me. That's different."

"Is not!" Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rarity countered Applejack.

"Is too!" Applejack counter-countered the girls.

The group continued their argument without showing any signs of stopping. Twilight and Sonic were nearly at their breaking point. Hearing enough of this, they both stood up from their desks and they yelled at the same time very loudly, "STOP!"

Everyone was quiet and surprised by Twilight and Sonic's outburst. "All of you!" Twilight said.

"That. Is. Enough." Sonic said.

Sonic tapped Twilight's bag and Spike unzipped it and poked his head out. Sonic then held his hand out and Spike handed him the yearbook. Then Sonic passed it to Twilight.

"We want to show you something," Twilight said as she opened the book.

"You girls were friends once," Sonic said as he and Twilight showed the girls their photo.

Each of the other girls looked at their photo and it reminded them of something from long ago.

"The Freshman Fair. Y'all remember?" Applejack asked the others.

"Yes…" Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rarity sorrowfully agreed.

"But something happened," Twilight started as she closed the book, "I think that something…"

"Was Sunset Shimmer," Sonic finished as he gritted his teeth by saying that name.

"Well, that's a nice theory, darlings, but Sunset Shimmer had nothing to do with it,' Rarity replied.

Sonic tried his best to stay calm, "Is that true?" he asked.

"She's right," Fluttershy agreed, "Sunset Shimmer isn't the one who ruined my silent auction for the animal shelter by bringing fireworks and noise-makers. It was supposed to be a serious event, and Pinkie Pie ruined it," she said as she crossed her arms and turned away with her eye on Pinkie.

"What are you talking about? I got a text from you saying that you didn't want a silent auction, you wanted a BIG party!" Pinkie reported holding her phone out in front of her.

It was in the second that Fluttershy felt surprised, "I-I never sent you a text," she replied as Sonic perked up at that.

"You didn't?" Pinkie asked confused as she looked at her phone to see if she may have had a misunderstanding.

"You don't think she's the one who's been sending me those emails, do you?" Rarity began, "Every time I volunteer to help with decorations at a school function, I get an email from Pinkie Pie saying she has plenty of volunteers. And then I find out she's done everything herself."

This began to make Sonic and Twilight think very curiously about these anonymous messages.

"I never sent you any emails," Pinkie said as she turned her head from her phone to face Twilight and Sonic.

"Maybe she's the reason Rainbow Dash didn't show up for my bake sale," Applejack suggested.

"Well, didn't you ever ask Rainbow Dash why she didn't show up?" Sonic asked.

Applejack smiled nervously, but then she became depressed, took off her hat from her head and held it in front of her, "Ah guess ah kinda' stopped talkin' to her at all after that."

Sonic smiled as he got up out of the desk and walked up to her. "You know," he started as he took Applejack's hat and put it back on her head, "…I think maybe now would be a good time for you to start."

Applejack blushed as she chuckled, "Thank you… Sonic."

Sonic smiled and placed his hand on her shoulder, "No problem, AJ."

"CHIME! CHIME!" Suddenly, Pinkie's phone went off.

"Ooh! Ooh! I got a text from Vinyl Scratch!" Pinkie declared.

"What does it say?" Rarity asked.

"It says 'check out the new video! CHS's New Hero Theory!' Weird," Pinkie said.

Pinkie went to her laptop, opened it, and typed the name of the video. Luckily enough, it popped up right in front of them. Pinkie clicked on it and it played.

A male voice spoke as it played, "Thanks to a recent video uploaded by a user named, 'snailsrox115', we have found a strange robot with a cannon and a sword was spotted in the Canterlot High school," it said as it showed a scene of the Egg Fighter Sonic fought.

Sonic was shocked that he was being spied on, but the video continued, "And the new student, Sonic, fought it with a guitar that shot a laser, with some kind of glowing gold ring, as well as a laser sword, and a glowing emerald," the voice said as it showed Sonic using his guitar, beam sword, power ring, and the blue Chaos Emerald.

Twilight, Spike, and the other girls all gathered around the laptop fascinated by the video. Sonic knew his cover was completely blown now, so he began to sneak away to the door as the video kept playing, "Is Sonic a friend? Or foe? We'll find out more as we gather information. Good luck out there, fellow students," the voice said as the video ended.

The girls were completely astonished and amazed with smiles, even Twilight and Spike. But when they looked up from the laptop, they saw that Sonic was nowhere in the classroom to be seen.

"Phew, that was close," Sonic sighed in relief.

He then saw a boys' bathroom near him. He quickly checked to see if no one else was around. Then he rushed inside and changed back into his original clothes. When he came back out, he started to walk down the hall until…

"Ahem," someone said clearing their throat.

Sonic slowly turned around and saw Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Twilight standing right there, all with serious looks on their faces. "Uh-oh…" Sonic thought.

"Now just where do ya think you're goin'?" Applejack asked.

"Um, I was just, uh, going out for some fresh air, heh," Sonic half-truthfully answered with a nervous smile on his face.

"Ah don't think so," Applejack replied as she stepped forward towards Sonic in front of him.

"Yeah! What was that robot you were fighting?!" Pinkie asked as she just popped up right beside Sonic on the right.

"I concur! Where did you get that fabulous ring and shiny glowing emerald?!" Rarity asked, getting beside Sonic on the left.

"Um, could you please tell us what's going on, if you don't mind me asking, Sonic?" Fluttershy asked, staying behind the others.

Sonic was trapped. Each of the girls stared at him. This made him feel more and more nervous, and he couldn't come up with the right words, "Um, I…" he stammered.

Applejack leaned very close to Sonic's face, "Sonic, look at me… right in my eyes and tell me that you're gonna tell us what's goin' on here," she said pointing at her eyes.

Sonic knew his lying couldn't fool them any longer. So he took a deep breath, looked at Applejack in her eyes, and spoke, "I will tell you what's going on. But we should talk about it outside. And please back up before it gets any more awkward than it already is."

Later, Sonic and the girls came outside to the playing field. They were walking towards the bleachers.

"Once we sit down, you'll tell us everything?" Applejack asked.

"Yeah," Sonic said, "I promise I won't try to r- OOF!"

Sonic forgot to watch where he was going and bumped into someone, "Oh, whoops. Sorry. Are you okay?" he asked who he bumped into.

The person who Sonic had bumped into was yet, another teenage girl. She had cyan-blue colored skin, rainbow hair, and pink magenta, violet eyes. She was wearing a short sleeve cerulean blue button up shirt over a white shirt with a symbol that looked like a white cloud with a primary colored lightning bolt on the chest, a bright fuscia pink and white striped skirt with tight-fitting black bike shorts underneath, a primary colored wristband on both of her wrists, and primary colored socks in cerulean blue converse style high top boots.

"It's okay, I'm fine," the girl answered as she looked at Sonic.

Sonic noticed the girl's rainbow hair and guessed that was Rainbow Dash, "Let me guess, you're Rainbow Dash?"

The girl had a soccer ball in her arm. She threw in the air, and spun it in circles on top of her finger, "The one and only," she answered.

Before Sonic was able to say anything else, the group then suddenly heard someone screaming. They all looked and saw three familiar young girls being attacked by three Egg Fighters. It was Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle.

"It's Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle!" Rarity exclaimed.

"And they're in trouble!" Applejack said worried.

Sonic would try to run away, but he knew he had to help them. He ran towards them. "Stay here! I'll take care of them!"

"But, Sonic…!" Twilight started.

"I'm gonna be fine, trust me," Sonic said.

"A-all right," Twilight said, "Just be careful."

With that, Sonic then turned and called out to the Egg Fighters, "Hey, over here! Looking for me?"

The Egg Fighters turned their heads and saw Sonic challenging them. They flew towards him, giving Sonic's friends a chance to get to the girls.

"Apple Bloom!" Applejack said as she hugged Apple Bloom.

"Sweetie Belle!" Rarity said as she hugged Sweetie Belle.

"Scootaloo!" Rainbow Dash said as she hugged Scootaloo.

"I'm so glad to see you, big sister," Apple Bloom said as she hugged Applejack back.

"Me too, sister," Sweetie Belle said as she hugged Rarity back.

"Same here," Scootaloo said as she hugged Rainbow Dash back.

Back to the battle, the Egg Fighters were trying to shoot Sonic with their cannons, but Sonic just kept moving out of the way and blocked them with his beam sword. Then in a flash, he charged at one of them and slashed his sword across the body and it exploded. The second one took out its sword and tried to slash Sonic from behind, but Sonic saw through it and jumped in the air doing a back summer salt and slashed the second Egg Fighter's back where the exhaust hose was. It then lost power, fell to the ground and blew up.

While the fight was going on, Rainbow Dash kept watching Sonic's moves and tricks. "Wow, he's so fast, confident, and awesome. And cute," Rainbow thought as she felt a small blush form on her face.

Sonic was now down to one last Egg Fighter. But this one was different. It had two double swords in both its hands. It looked extremely tough. The girls were worried.

"Let's see if you're a match for me," the Egg Fighter said.

"Suit yourself," Sonic smirked.

Sonic placed his hand behind him and pulled out another beam sword and its blade was bright blue as well. He swirled them in his hands and got into a fighting stance, "What do you say we make things interesting?"

"Very well, boy," the Egg Fighter said.

It charged at Sonic, but Sonic jumped over it and slashed from on top. His beam swords then hit something. It caused him to be bounced off.

"Oh, great, this one has a deflector shield," Sonic thought, "This one won't be easy."

Sonic then flipped one of his beam swords in the air and grabbed it upside down. He then collided it with the other and they both stuck together, making his two beam swords into a double beam sword.

He then charged at the Egg Fighter as it swung its swords at him. Sonic crouched and slid under it. He tried to slash, but the Egg Fighter's body part turned around and blocked with its sword. Sonic then secretly unlocked his two beam swords from each other and used one of them to slash the robot's hand. He managed to hit it.

The deflector shield was offline, and Sonic had a chance to attack. He charged at the Egg Fighter and swung his beam swords straight into the body. The Egg Fighter still stood up. It then saw the girls and took out something.

"I'll give you a choice, boy," it started as Sonic took his beam swords out of its body listening.

"Surrender to my master," it said as it then pulled out a laser rope and swung at the girls.

The rope caught Apple Bloom and pulled her towards them. "APPLE BLOOM!" Applejack cried.

The Egg Fighter then grabbed and held Apple Bloom, "or this girl shall be gone, forever."

Sonic stood there for a moment, then turned his beam swords off and said, "Fine, just let her go."

The Egg Fighter dropped Apple Bloom who was frozen in fear. Sonic then smirked and turned his blades back on and rushed at the Egg Fighter. He jumped in the air and slashed at its head. It was then about to blow up, so Sonic quickly turned his beam swords off, grabbed Apple Bloom and rushed off as the Egg Fighter blew up.

Sonic stopped when he and Apple Bloom were far away enough from the explosion. He then looked down at Apple Bloom as he put her down, "Are you okay?"

Apple Bloom was calm now and answered, "Yeah. Thanks for saving me, Sonic."

"Apple Bloom!" Applejack said as she ran over to them.

Applejack hugged her little sister tightly with tears of joy, happy that she was all right. Sonic smiled. But Applejack then broke her hug with Apple Bloom, grabbed Sonic by the collar of his shirt and pulled him close to her face.

Sonic shut his eyes and turned his head away because he thought Applejack was going to do something to him, but nothing happened. Sonic then opened his eyes again and saw Applejack smiling, "This is only for saving my little sister, and nothing more," she said.

"Wait, what?" Sonic asked, not understanding what she meant.

Applejack then did something that surprised him tenfold. She slowly closed her eyes, leaned her head forward, and placed her lips onto Sonic's. Sonic was completely shocked by her action. He really wasn't expecting her to kiss him. Then, he slowly closed his eyes and kissed her back as he gently wrapped his right arm around her waist and placed his left hand on the back of her head while Applejack let go of his shirt and placed her hands on his chest.

The other girls were completely blown by what they were seeing as Sonic and Applejack continued kissing. Rainbow Dash was shocked with rather jealously and her eye twitched. After a minute, Applejack finally broke the kiss and stared into Sonic's eyes while smiling and blushing.

"Ah rather enjoyed that. Y'all are a pretty good kisser," Applejack said.

"Well, you're not too bad yourself. Now, I'm assuming that was only a 'thank you' kiss," Sonic said.

"That's right, partner," Applejack said.

Rainbow Dash then calmed down since it was as a thank you. Rarity then walked up to Sonic and asked, "Now that that's over with, are you gonna tell us the truth about you now?"

Sonic sighed, "All right, I'll tell you everything. And since your sister and her friends saw this, Applejack, they deserve to know as well."

Applejack examined him closely, using her Apple Family trait to find any insincerity in his voice, "Hmm…"

She then realized by looking deeply into Sonic's possessing green emerald eyes that he was being completely honest, which she had to admit, was admirable, "All right, then."

"Maybe we should sit down," Sonic suggested, "This is going to be a long story."

With that, Sonic and the girls walked over to the bleachers. But what they didn't know was that Sunset Shimmer was watching from a corner wall of the school. She heard and saw everything that happened. She then thought of something.

"Snips, Snails!" Sunset said.

The boys stood in a soldier stance listening to her. "Get some footage on this. I want to find out who and what Sonic really is," Sunset demanded.

The boys saluted as they took out their phones and started recording them.

Sunset grinned, "Once I find out who you really are, Sonic, you'll be mine."

Later, that day, Sonic explained everything to the girls about himself. He told them that he was a hedgehog, where he was from, how he got here, what the Chaos Emeralds were, and he told them about his battles with Dr. Eggman.

After he finished, the girls, even Twilight and Spike were amazed. "Whoa…" the crusaders said.

"That is amazing, darling! You're like a hero or a knight in shining armor!" Rarity said as she was blushing.

"Wow, so you're really a talking hedgehog. You're more amazing than I thought," Fluttershy said with her cheeks turning bright crimson.

"Yeah! You're like a Super-Duper super hero!" Pinkie said with her smile still up bright.

"Hmm…" Applejack said as she looked over him again to see if he said any lies, "Y-you really are telling the truth."

"So you're not mad that I'm a talking animal from another world?" Sonic asked.

"How can we be mad when we have an awesome friend from another world?" Rainbow asked as she wrapped her arm around Sonic.

This made Sonic turn his head towards Rainbow. But when that happened, Sonic's face was right in front of Rainbow's. They both then moved a seat away from each other while blushing.

"Well, that was awkward. Anyway, have I mentioned that there are so many other types of animals that talk in my world?" Sonic asked.

Fluttershy gasped, "You have many talking animals in your world? Oh, I would love to go there."

"So, Sonic," Twilight began, "Do you remember your family?"

"Yeah, but I don't know my father. He abandoned my mother after I was born," Sonic answered.

"Who is your mother?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Heh, my mother? Well, she's Queen Aleena, queen of Mobotropolis," Sonic said.

The girls gasped at what he just said. "So your mom is a queen?" Rarity asked, "Then that means you're a… a…"

Sonic scratched his head, "Yes, I am Prince Sonic of Mobotropolis. But I didn't want to rule a kingdom and be given so much respect. So I left the kingdom as a freedom fighter, and my siblings, Sonia and Manic, took over for me."

"Now why were you named Sonic?" Rainbow asked.

Sonic smirked, "Watch this."

Then, in a flash he ran off surprising the girls and in a split second, he came back with a chilly dog in his hand.

"Awesome!" Rainbow cheered.

"Hey, Sonic, I'd like to know about this," Applejack started, "How were you able to drink all of that apple cider yesterday?"

"Hyperactive metabolism," Sonic answered.

"What in the hay does that mean?" Applejack asked again.

"It means I can't get drunk, even if I wanted to," Sonic said.

"Darling, may I see that ring and gem that you had in the video?" Rarity asked.

Sonic then threw his chilly dog high into the air. It rose so high it looked like it went into space. Sonic then took his backpack off, opened it and took out one of the rings. As Rarity took it and looked at it with awe, Sonic held his hand out and the chilly dog he threw landed in his hand with him catching it. Then Sonic started to eat the chilly dog.

"My word, this ring is made of pure gold," Rarity said

The other girls, except Twilight and Spike gasped.

"How many of these do you have?" Scootaloo asked.

"Well, right now I have only twenty in total with me, but back at home, there are way more," Sonic said.

"H-how many are you talking about?" Rarity asked stammering.

"Well, from what I do know, in every different zone there is in my world, there are over thousands of them," Sonic answered.

Rarity dropped the ring with her jaw dropped. She then gasped as she placed her hand on her head and fainted but Sonic caught her before she hit the ground.

"RARITY!" Sweetie Belle yelled as she ran over to her sister.

Rarity then instantly woke up, which actually surprised Sonic a little. "My goodness, I'm so sorry, darling. I've just never heard of so many of those rings before," she said.

"It's no big deal," Sonic said.

"What about the Emerald?" Pinkie asked.

Sonic dug into his backpack again and took out the blue Emerald. Now Rarity's eyes were more wide open.

"Oh my, it's so gorgeous," Rarity said as her hand slowly began to reach out for it.

Rarity's hand was right about to touch it, but Sonic quickly moved it away from her before she could even touch it. Rarity was confused, "What's wrong, darling?"

"I'm sorry, Rarity," Sonic said, "But I cannot allow you to take the Chaos Emerald."

"Why?" Rarity asked.

"There is no knowing what might happen to you if you touch it," Sonic explained, "Each of the Chaos Emeralds harness incredible power that cannot be controlled by normal people. If you touch it, it could rupture your mind and cause you to lose control over yourself. It would also give you uncontrollable powers that would allow you to destroy this world."

Rarity went wide-eyed in fear and backed up. She was now afraid of the Emerald, "Well, thanks for the heads-up, but what do you mean 'each'? Are there more than one of these kinds of Emeralds?"

Sonic dug into his backpack and pulled out the rest of the emeralds make the girls gasp. Rarity's eyes widened with awe. Then Sonic let the emeralds out of his hands and they all hovered into the air in front of them all while moving in a circle. That surprised the girls even more.

"Incredible," Apple Bloom said.

"Ooh! How shiny and magical!" Pinkie said.

"Heh, I know, they're amazing, right?" Sonic asked as he put the emeralds away.

"And the green one even matches your eyes, Sonic!" Scootaloo said.

"So Applejack, what are you doing here?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Applejack looked at everyone before turning back to Rainbow Dash, "Um, maybe we should talk about this in private?"

Rainbow Dash hesitantly nodded and left the bleachers with Applejack, they began to explain what really went on between them and why their friendship ended the way it did. Sonic sat down on the bleachers with the crusaders who were asking him more questions.

"They're actually talking! That's a good sign," Rarity said while watching RD and AJ converse.

After Rainbow and Applejack finished their talk, they hugged each other, which meant what happened between them is all water under the bridge now.

"Hugs! Oh, hugs are always good!" Pinkie exclaimed.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack walked back over the bleachers.

"Somebody, and Ah think we can all guess who…" Applejack began, "…told Rainbow Dash that my bake sale had been moved to a different day. Dash showed up with all the softball team and thought I cancelled on her."

Rainbow Dash walked up to Twilight, "So, you're looking to dethrone Sunset Shimmer and become Princess of the Fall Formal, huh?"

Twilight looked away for a moment but turned back to Rainbow Dash and nodded with a nervous smile.

Rainbow Dash began kicking a soccer ball in the air a few times, "Gotta say, I'd really love to see that happen," she said as she let the ball hit the ground and placed her foot on it.

"I'll totally help you out," Rainbow Dash said.

Twilight then had a hopeful smile, but that then changed to a worried frown when Rainbow Dash said, "All you gotta do, is beat me in a game of one-on-one."

"What?" Twilight asked.

"First to five goals wins," Rainbow Dash said as she kicked the ball around her, bouncing it off her head, and kicking it in midair into the goal, "One-zip!"

Twilight had a shocked look on her face, but the two began their game. Rainbow Dash charged at her goal, kicking the soccer ball, while Twilight was acting as a goalie with her legs shaking. Rainbow kicked the ball right behind her right foot and spun in midair, kicking the ball towards the goal with her left foot. Twilight panicked and ducked her head before the ball hit her. Rainbow Dash scored another goal. The score was Rainbow Dash-2 to Twilight-0.

Twilight and all her friends, especially Sonic were nervous. Without Rainbow's help, they'd never be able to return the crown to its rightful owner. Rainbow Dash walked past Twilight and threw the ball in front of her feet. Twilight had a confident smile and was about to kick it, but Rainbow Dash swiped it away with her right foot, tossed it in the air behind her, and kicked it into the goal again with the bottom of her foot, making the score 3-0. She smiled while throwing her arms in the air. She now had three points while Twilight still had zero.

"Hey, isn't that che-?!" Sonic started, but was silenced by an orange hand that covered his mouth.

"Never question her," Scootaloo whispered menacingly.

When she took her hand off of Sonic's mouth, all Sonic could do was nothing but just sigh in disappointment.

The game continued on as the ball was now in Twilight's possession. As she ran towards her goal, Rainbow Dash came out of nowhere and took the ball away from Twilight, who screeched to a halt as she turned to see her opponent give the ball a good high-kick, sending it into the goal and making the score; Rainbow Dash-4 to Twilight-0.

"This is NOT good," Sonic thought worried.

Now Rainbow Dash was just playing around, kicking the ball into the air twice with her knee, the bottom of her foot when it was behind her, and high-kicked behind her, into Twilight's face and fell in front of her. Twilight smiled as she saw an opportunity and rushed the ball to the goal. Her friends quickly became excited, thinking that she could kick the ball into the net.

Sonic smiled hopefully, "C'mon, Twilight… almost there!"

Twilight was confident that she'd score this time, but as she tried to kick, and too hard we must say, she just missed the ball and fell on her back. The ball rolled right in front of Rainbow Dash, who somehow made her way to the goal, looked down at it and gave it a good, powerful high-kick, and it sailed into the goal. The final score was, Rainbow Dash-5 to Twilight-0.

It was clear Twilight lost. Rainbow Dash was jumping with joy, while Twilight was lying on the ground panting from exhaustion. "Huff… huff… huff…" Twilight panted.

"That's game!" Rainbow Dash declared while looking down at Twilight.

Twilight's friends and Spike came down from the stands and looked down at Twilight with frowns upon their faces. Scootaloo cheered for Rainbow Dash.

Sonic became furious. He stood up, turned around and slammed his fist on the bleacher, surprising the crusaders and causing Scootaloo to stop cheering. "DARN IT! Now what are we going to do?!" he shouted.

"Sonic, there's no need to get angry," Sweetie Belle said as Apple Bloom and Scootaloo walked down to the group, "Please, just calm down."

Sonic just sighed in great defeat. He knew that if he couldn't help Twilight, there would also be no way from him to find his way home.

"I really thought you were gonna pull it off in the end," Rarity said while laughing sheepishly, earning herself a glare from Applejack, Pinkie Pie, an upset look from Fluttershy, and a quizzical look from Rainbow Dash.

Rarity then turned to see Sonic standing on the bleacher with his fist clenched and Sweetie Belle talking to him. Rainbow Dash then held out her hand to help Twilight up, "So what's the plan? How can I help you to Princess instead of Sunset Shimmer?"

Sonic perked up and turned by what he heard Rainbow Dash say.

Twilight soon got onto her feet with Rainbow Dash helping her, "But I… I lost."

"Of course you lost. I'm awesome," Rainbow started, "but I'm not gonna just help anybody try to beat Sunset Shimmer. The Fall Formal Princess should be with heart and determination."

Twilight had a bright smile on her face, knowing that there was hope as Rainbow Dash finished, "You proved you've got them both."

She then pulled Twilight into a hug. Everyone cheered at Rainbow Dash's words, while Pinkie was jumping ecstatically. Sonic smiled and Sweetie Belle placed her hand on his shoulder. "You see, Sonic? No need to be mad."

As Twilight and her friends were celebrating, they didn't notice was they were being watched the entire time, by Sunset Shimmer, Snips, and Snails. The boys snickered when they showed Sunset what they had on their phones. Sunset developed a sinister grin until she head a buzzing sound from above her. She looked up and saw a robot that looked like a large bee. She grabbed Snips and Snails and hid them and herself in the shadows of where they were hiding.

Sweetie Belle noticed the drone and asked Sonic while pointing at it, "Hey, what's that?"

Sonic turned around and recognized it, "It's a Badnik!" he shouted getting everyone's attention.

The Bee Badnik pointed its stinger at Sonic and Sweetie Belle. It then shot a yellow laser at them. Thinking quickly, Sonic grabbed Sweetie Belle and jumped in the air off of the bleachers before the laser hit them. Sonic did a dozen backflips in the air and landed on his feet. Sweetie Belle got dizzy. She placed her hand on the side of her head and moaned while her eyes swirled out of control.

"Sorry about that," Sonic said as he put Sweetie Belle down who shook her head from her dizziness.

Before Sonic could do anything else, the Bee Badnik shot another laser and it was heading right at him. Sonic quickly grabbed his beam sword, activated it, and swung it at the laser, reflecting it and sending it back towards the Bee Badnik. Its laser hit it and it exploded. Sonic then turned his beam sword off, put it away and turned to Sweetie Belle, "You okay?"

Rarity was surprised that Sonic saved her sister, just like he saved Applejack's. She then walked over to him with a happy look on her face. Sweetie Belle smiled at Sonic, "Yeah, just never experienced that much spinning before."

She then saw her big sister was right behind Sonic. "Um, Sonic…" Sweetie Belle started.

"Yeah?" Sonic asked as Rarity was reaching for his shoulder.

"Rarity's about to-!" Sweetie Belle's warning was cut off as Rarity grabbed Sonic's shoulder, turned him around, and gave him a big kiss on his cheek.

"…Kiss you," Sweetie Belle said with a worried look on her face.

Sonic was a little less shocked than he was when Applejack kissed him.

"Whoa, what was that for, Rarity? Why did you just kiss me?" Sonic asked blushing.

"That was for saving my sister, that's all," Rarity answered while blushing.

Rainbow Dash just rolled her eyes. Then Sonic's ear was caught by a sound. He looked and saw something inside the smoke from the Badnik. He rushed towards it, put his hands in the smoke, and took them out revealing a baby brown Mobian Squirrel in his hands.

Fluttershy gasped as she came towards Sonic and the Mobian Squirrel, "Oh, my goodness! Are you all right, little guy?"

"He's okay," Sonic said, "Oh, Fluttershy, this is one of the many creatures from my world; one of the young squirrels."

"Can I hold it?" Fluttershy asked.

Sonic handed Fluttershy the squirrel. It chirped happily as it used its little arms to hug Fluttershy's neck, but it felt soft and Fluttershy patted the little Mobian on its head and held it in her arms, "Oh, you're so adorable, little guy."

Rainbow then just remembered something. She walked over to Sonic and asked, "Hey, Sonic?"

"Yeah? Sonic asked.

"May I ask you something?" Rainbow asked.

"Sure," Sonic said listening.

"You see, I've heard that you became the top weight lifter, and the fastest student yesterday," Rainbow started, "Is that true?"

"It is," Applejack said to Rainbow, "I saw it all."

Rainbow Dash then turned to Sonic and asked, "So, Sonic, you wanna play?"

"You mean like you did with Twilight?" Sonic asked.

"Actually, no," Rainbow started, "You see, I heard that you became the most popular guy around here yesterday. And I saw that video."

"You did, huh?" Sonic asked.

"Yeah, and you see, I got jealous," Rainbow Dash, "When I heard that you broke my record, I became furious about that."

Sonic then knew what was going to happen. He turned his head to Applejack and said, "You see, Applejack? I told you she would hate me."

"I don't hate you, Sonic," Rainbow Dash said.

"Wait, you're not mad now?"" Sonic asked.

"Well, when I saw you fighting those robots with all those skills and moves, I was impressed," Rainbow said as she placed her hands on her hips, "So I want to see what you're made of."

"So let me guess," Sonic started, "You want to fight? If that is so, I won't do it. I don't hit girls."

"Why? You too scared to fight a girl?" Rainbow Dash asked challenging him.

"NO! I don't want to embarrass you!" Sonic shouted, but then placed his hands on his head, "Oh, why did I just say that?!"

THAT made Rainbow angry, "That's it! We're fighting right now!"

She charged at Sonic and tried to force her foot at his stomach, but Sonic quickly cart wheeled himself away from her. He then stood up.

"C'mon, Sonic! I want to know what you're made of," Rainbow Dash said.

"Well, how skilled are you?" Sonic asked.

"She's a black belt in karate in Canterlot Kickalot," Scootaloo answered for him.

Sonic perked up at that. He then thought about doing this… to impress her. He then said to Rainbow Dash smirking, "Well, I do know a little bit of Capoeira, which is dancing and fighting. So, I would say that you just want to dance with me."

Rainbow blushed, while the other girls started to laugh, but she shouted, "This is NOT a dance stupid, now fight me!"

"Okay, here I come!" Sonic smirked as he charged at her.

Sonic and Rainbow Dash were fighting each other in the field while the others were watching them on the bleachers. The two skilled kept managing to hit each other and dodge their attacks.

Rainbow Dash charged at Sonic with a combination of jab punches, but Sonic jumped in the air forward doing a front flip above her. He then did a spinning kick, but Rainbow managed to quickly turn it around and block it. Rainbow then did a leg sweep and caused Sonic to fall on his back. She then jumped in the air and tried to swing her fist at his stomach, but Sonic quickly rolled out of the way. He then stood up and looked at Rainbow Dash while she did the same.

"Not bad, RD, not bad at all," Sonic said.

"You're not too bad yourself," Rainbow replied, "But what do you say we make things more interesting?"

"Huh?" Sonic asked confused.

"Scootaloo! Fetch me my gym bag!" Rainbow ordered.

"You got it!" Scootaloo replied as she ran towards the locker room.

"My gym bag has all my sports equipment," Rainbow said as she looked back at Sonic with determination.

Scootaloo then came back with Rainbow's gym bag and put it down in front of her.

"Here are the ground rules, Sonic," Rainbow said, "No powers, no using your rings, your beam sword, or the Chaos Emeralds and no turning into that blue ball."

"Okay, that I can do," Sonic started, "But you can use your equipment and I can't use anything? That's not fair!"

"Well, what do you say, Sonic?" Rainbow asked, "Unless you are really a rat."

Sonic perked up at that. "All right then. Have it your way!" he said as he got in a fighting stance.

"Scoots! Hand me my baseball bat!" Rainbow called to Scootaloo.

Scootaloo dug into Rainbow's gym bag and took out a baseball bat and a couple of baseballs. She tossed them to Rainbow. Rainbow caught the bat and one of the balls in her hands. She then threw one in the air and swung her bat at the ball as it came down and the ball flew towards Sonic. Sonic punched the ball, causing it to fly straight back at Rainbow. Rainbow ducked down as the ball flew past her. She then picked up two more balls and threw them both up at the same time and managed to hit them with ease. The balls approached Sonic fast, but Sonic caught the balls in his hands and smirked.

"Really?" Sonic mocked.

Rainbow then charged at Sonic with her baseball bat and swung it at him many times. Sonic kept dodging her attacks and blocking them. Rainbow then swung the bat down at Sonic's head, but Sonic quickly moved out of the way and the bat hit the ground. Sonic then kicked the bat out of Rainbow's hands. Rainbow was defenseless.

"Is that all you got?" Sonic smirked.

Rainbow growled, "Scoots! Soccer balls!"

Scootaloo dug into Rainbow's gym bag and pulled out some soccer balls. She rolled them to Rainbow. Rainbow picked one of them with her foot and bounced it on her knee. She then let it drop and gave it a strong kick causing it to shoot straight at Sonic's face. Sonic quickly ducked his head backwards just in time. Then as he went back up, Rainbow grabbed two soccer balls and threw one of them up and kicked it and did the same for the other. This time, Sonic punched them back towards Rainbow. She ducked her head as they flew out of the field.

"Scoots! Golf Club!" Rainbow called out again.

"I'm sorry for this, Scootaloo," Sonic thought as he quickly built blue energy in his hand and blasted his Sonic wind at Scootaloo.

Scootaloo was about to grab Rainbow's Golf Club when she saw the energy wave coming towards her. "Whoa!" she said as she ducked her head.

The energy wave somehow missed Scootaloo and then disappeared into thin air. She then ran away back to the bleachers yelling, "Sorry, Rainbow! You're on your own!"

Rainbow turned to Sonic with an angry expression, "What the hay, Sonic?!"

"I had to get her to stop. I wasn't TRYING to hit her," Sonic said calmly.

Words could not describe the anger boiling in Rainbow's heart at the moment. Rainbow ran to her baseball bat, grabbed it and yelled in utter rage, "I OUGHTA PRESS YOU INTO JERK CIDER!"

She charged furiously at Sonic, swinging her baseball bat like crazy. All Sonic could do was dodge her every attack, every last strike was coming in too hot. Rainbow was completely out of control in anger.

"We have to stop them!" Twilight said, "Rainbow's out of control!"

Sonic had no choice, but to use his other type of defense… powers. He crossed his arms and formed a blue shield around him as Rainbow swung her bat at him again. She and her bat bounced off as the bat hit the shield. Rainbow fell on her back, but got back on her feet still angry, "WHY YOU-! I said 'no powers'!"

"Rainbow, please…" Sonic begged, "I had no choice. You were out of control of yourself. I don't want to fight you anymore."

"Then why did you agree to fight me earlier?!" Rainbow shouted as she got in a fighting stance with the bat still in her hands.

Sonic sighed and slowly walked up to her. Rainbow was expecting him to try and attack her, but then she was somehow calm as Sonic stopped in front of her, slowly and gently took the bat out of her hands, and put it down on the ground.

Sonic then put his hands on Rainbow's shoulders and looked her in the eyes. "Listen to me, Dash. I never wanted to make you angry from the start. The truth is… I was only trying to impress you," he told her.

Rainbow's eyes widened and her cheeks turned red. "Y-you did all of that… to impress me?" she asked.

Sonic smiled sadly as he nodded, "Yeah. Look, Dash, I'm really sorry for making you upset. I hope you can forgive me."

"No, I'm the one who should apologize. I never should've gotten mad. I was just so jealous that you became the most popular guy in the school. And now I feel like I'm no longer the best," Rainbow said as tears formed in her eyes.

Sonic wiped the tears away from Rainbow's eyes. He then did something that surprised her hundredfold. He slowly pulled her into his arms and gave her the most softest, caring hug he could give her. This action caused Rainbow to blush deep red.

"It's all right, Rainbow. I forgive you. Also, I still believe that you're the coolest girl in the school, and one of the best friends I could ever have. You're an amazing girl, Rainbow, and I want to continue to be your friend. No hard feelings, right?" Sonic said and asked.

His words were so strong and caring to Rainbow. Tears formed in her eyes again and she returned the embrace, soaking his shirt with her tears. Sonic didn't mind. "N-no hard f-feelings," Rainbow whimpered.

She felt Sonic's hand gently stroke through her rainbow hair. "Shh… it's all right. Just let it go," Sonic said softly.

Rainbow's blush increased feeling Sonic's fingers slowly running through her bright, rainbow colored hair. She smiled and nuzzled deeper into Sonic's chest, enjoying his warmth. Her heart then began throbbing faster that she had ever run in her life before. She also began to feel something that her friends hadn't felt when they first met Sonic. She felt butterflies in her stomach. "It's this feeling again," Rainbow thought as she continued to keep her embrace with Sonic, "Is this really true? Do I… have a crush… on Sonic?"

"She really is an amazing girl. But I have no idea why I feel so happy for her. I guess I'll find out later," Sonic thought as he as well continued the hug with Rainbow.

They knew that the others were watching each other, but they didn't mind. The girls were all feeling happy. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle 'awwed' at the sight, except for Scootaloo, who was a little disgusted by the romance and said in her head, "Eww!"

"Well, I'll be. Never thought she would be huggin' him. Do y'all know what this means?" Applejack asked amazed.

"I believe we do," Twilight said, "I think Rainbow has feelings for Sonic."

"Aw… they look so cute together," Rarity cooed.

"And here I thought miss, 'I'm too cool for romance' wouldn't have feelings for someone," Sweetie Belle whispered to Apple Bloom.

Fluttershy felt a bit upset for a moment, but then she got over it and felt happy for the two.

Sonic and Rainbow slowly parted from the hug. They looked really deeply into each other's eyes. Sonic's arms were wrapped around Rainbow's waist while Rainbow's hands were on Sonic's chest. They really seemed to like each other. The connection between the two of them was growing stronger and stronger as they continued to look at each other in their eyes.

Rainbow kept staring into Sonic's bright possessing green emerald eyes. They shined really brightly in the light like a real pure clean and green glowing emerald with bright white sparkles in them. Sonic kept staring into Rainbow's bright pink magenta, violet eyes. They, as well, shined really brightly in the light with sparkles, but like a pure clean and bright pink crystal.

The others were now convinced that Sonic and Rainbow were falling in love. "Oh, my," Rarity said, "Look at them. I've never seen anything this romantic before."

"This is so… amazing," Applejack said, "Wait, look."

The other looked and saw Sonic and Rainbow slowly closing their eyes and leaning their heads towards each other with their lips puckered. They were coming together for a kiss.

The girls were all surprised, but Rarity felt really happy about this, "She's gonna do it. She's gonna kiss him."

And Rarity was right. Sonic and Rainbow's lips had made contact with each other. Their kiss had felt so strong and passionate for each other. Sonic and Rainbow's embrace tightened as they depended the kiss.

Now all the other girls cooed at this beautiful romantic moment, well, except for Scootaloo. She wasn't a fan of this kind of stuff.

As Sonic and Rainbow continued in their strong embrace and kiss, they were both thinking about what they were feeling about each other.

"This feeling…" Rainbow thought, "It's so strong… and full of compassion… and even… love. I can't believe it. I'm actually in love with Sonic."

"The embrace and this kiss…" Sonic thought, "It's really passionate and strong. I don't believe this. Am I really in love… with Rainbow?"

But the beautiful romance was interrupted when someone called out, "Sonic!"

Sonic and Rainbow broke the kiss and looked to see who was calling. It was Principle Celestia with a little bit of a sad look. "Come with me," she said.

Sonic turned to Rainbow, "I gotta go, Rainbow."

"O-okay, but thank you, Sonic," Rainbow said smiling.

Sonic nodded as he walked with Principle Celestia into the school. Nobody was noticing a small, round robot was hovering high in the air with a camera taping them. On the other side, Eggman was watching.

"Ah, so it seems that blue haired teen is the one who destroyed my Egg Fighters," Eggman said to himself, "Could he be Sonic? Hmm…"

Meanwhile, Sonic followed Celestia to her office. They went into her office and sat down in chairs. "So, what did you want to see me about?" Sonic asked.

"I want to know more about you, Sonic," Celestia answered.

Sonic sighed, "Let me guess, you saw that video as well?"

"Yes," Celestia answered, "But I also saw this."

She then handed Sonic a newspaper. Sonic took it and looked at what it said. It showed and image of him fighting the Egg Fighter he fought inside the school. Above it said, "Armed Robot defeated by Sonic, the new student of Canterlot High!"

"It's happening all over the news," Celestia said, "The whole city knows about you. So can you please tell me the truth?"

Sonic took a very deep breath and started to tell her every single thing about him. He told her everything he said to the girls about himself, his world, the Chaos Emeralds, his adventures, his enemies, and how he got here. After he finished, Celestia was amazed.

"My goodness, that is amazing. Who would have thought you were really a hedgehog from another world with powers? You having super speed, super strength and your guitar… amazing," Celestia said, "Now, tell me, why did you lie to me when you came into my school?"

"I had to lay low and not get any unwanted attention," Sonic explained, "I just thought that the best I could do was lie so I wouldn't put anyone, especially your students in danger."

"I understand," Celestia said, "Now, before I let you go, just remember, only use your powers if it is really necessary, okay?"

"I'll try my best," Sonic said.

"Okay, you are dismissed, and good luck," Celestia said.

"Wait," Sonic said, "Just one thing."

"Yes?" Celestia asked.

"Did you see me and Rainbow together?" Sonic asked.

"Indeed, I have," Celestia answered.

"This… feeling that I felt when I looked into her eyes" Sonic began, "Does this mean that I'm falling in love with her?"

"Yes, you are," Celestia said with a smile, "It is not anything that you need to be afraid about. Everyone can find someone to love. And it is good. If you truly love Rainbow Dash, she herself can have someone to love. You might be the very person who can work for her."

Sonic nodded and left Celestia's office. As he closed the door, he then looked at his TSP watch. It was still out of power, but Sonic had an idea. He took out his power ring and placed it on his watch. It then glowed brightly and the power ring transferred some of its energy into the watch. Now it was recharged, thanks to the energy of the power ring.

He then put his power ring away and turned his watch on.

Mobius, Tails' house

Tails was thinking of a way to find Sonic and get him back home. He struggled with finding a plan. Then his watch vibrated. He didn't want to answer, but did it anyway. "Hello?"

"Tails, it's me, Sonic. Can you hear me?" Sonic's voice said on the watch.

"Sonic? You're alive?!" Tails exclaimed.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Sonic said.

"Thank chaos," Tails said, "Now where are you?"

"I'm in another kind of world and I somehow turned into a human," Sonic explained, "I'm inside this school called Canterlot High, but I also have the Chaos Emeralds, my medallion, beam sword, and some of the power and gold rings I collected."

"You turned into a human?" Tails asked, "Strange, but when did you end up there? And how are you making contact?"

"The same day I got sucked into that portal, I would say," Sonic answered, "And I don't know how."

"Okay," Tails said, "I'll have to try to get Knuckles to see if he can locate you and the emeralds with the Master Emerald."

Back to Canterlot High

"Yeah," Sonic said, "But there's something else going on. I've been seeing Egg Fighters in the school."

"Wait, seriously?" Tails asked, "Then does that mean…?"

"Yeah… Eggman's here," Sonic said, "And I think he's watching."

"Okay, I'll get to Knuckles," Tails said.

Then Sonic turned his watch off. He then went to find his friends. As he walked, some of the students were talking about him again.

"Hey, guys, look! There's Sonic again!" A male student said.

"Yeah, he's more amazing then I had thought!" another said.

"I don't know about you guys, but I think he is really cute!" a girl said.

This time, Sonic was feeling uncomfortable and nervous. Then the crusaders came to Sonic.

"Hey, girls, what's up?" Sonic asked.

"We're just here to let you know that our sisters and their friends went to Sugarcube Corner," Apple Bloom.

"All right, thanks," Sonic said, "Hey, do you think you know where I can find this Sugarcube Corner?"

"If you want, I can take you there," said a male voice behind Sonic.

Sonic turned around and was face-to-face with a guy. He had blue hair, blue eyes, and tan skin. He was wearing a black jacket with a red and white streak around the center of the arms over a white shirt with the symbol of a blue shield with a yellow lightning bolt on the chest, blue jeans, and black and white shoes.

"Sonic, this is Flash Sentry," Scootaloo introduced.

"Hi," Sonic said as he held out his hand for a handshake.

Flash accepted the handshake. "Hey, nice to meet you- YOW!" Flash yelped because Sonic's grip from the handshake had felt strong, "Wow, that is a good grip you have. Should not pick a fight with anybody like you."

"Oh, sorry," Sonic said.

"So, you're going to go to Sugarcube Corner?" Flash asked.

"Yeah, except for the fact, I'm new in town, and I've never been in the city before," Sonic answered.

"No problem, we all know you're from another world. I'll take you there," Flash said.

"All right," Sonic said, "Let's go."

"All right," Flash said.

"Thanks again, girls," Sonic said.

"No problem," Sweetie Belle said.

Later, when Sonic and Flash arrived at Sugarcube Corner, they saw Sonic's friends, some sitting on a couch and some sitting separate chairs. Applejack was sitting in a chair backwards, Fluttershy was in another one, Pinkie was in a third with a drink with a straw and a fruit wedge, and Rarity and Rainbow Dash were on a couch in front of a window. Spike, of course was sitting on Rarity's lap while she had her hands upon his back.

"Hey, Sonic," Rainbow said as she then noticed Flash was with him, "Oh hey, Flash."

"Hey, girls," Sonic and Flash said.

"How come Flash is with you?" Applejack asked.

"He was on his way here, but I told him I didn't know how to get here, so I walked with him," Sonic answered.

Sonic then took a seat on the left arm of the couch beside Rainbow. Rainbow saw him and blushed a little bit but smiled. Flash then went to get a drink for himself but bumped into someone. When he saw who it was, he was a bit surprised. It was Twilight with a terrified expression on her face as she accidently dropped a drink of hers.

"We really need to stop bumping into each other like this," Flash said.

Twilight knelt down to pick up the cup she had dropped. But when she put her hand on it, Flash did the same and their hands touched each other. They then looked at each other until Twilight quickly pulled her hand away while smiling nervously. When Flash picked the cup up for her, he smiled nervously too.

They both stood up and Twilight spoke while grabbing her hair. "You know me, always trying to make a big SPLASH around here. 'Cause my drink kind of splashed on the ground," she laughed, smiled, and played with her fingers nervously as Flash stared at her.

Twilight then had the courage to speak again. "I'm gonna go over there now," she concluded while pointing her thumb towards her friends.

She sat on the right arm beside Rarity. Twilight then just blushed and played with her hair when Rarity spoke up, "Don't even think about it. You're already trying to get her crown, who knows what Sunset Shimmer would do if you ended up getting her ex-boyfriend too."

Sonic perked up again, not by Sunset's name, but by Rarity mentioning that Flash was Sunset's ex-boyfriend.

"I'm not trying to- I don't even know- we just accidently- Ex-boyfriend?" Twilight stammered.

"Flash Sentry broke up with her a few weeks ago," Fluttershy said as she and the others then looked at Flash as he paid for his own drink, "I can't believe she hasn't done anything awful to him yet."

"Wait a second," Sonic spoke up to the group getting their attention, "Flash used to date Sunset?"

"Yeah," Applejack said, "Let's just say things weren't going way too well between them."

Flash then walked past the group and looked at Twilight as she tried to hide from him with a kind of grin on her face. As he approached the door, he said to Sonic, "Well, see ya, Sonic."

"Maybe she's just waiting until she has the power to do something really awful," Twilight said.

"All right, everyone," Applejack began as she stood up, "Dance is tomorrow night, and we still don't know how we're gonna get Twilight the votes she needs to be named princess. Right now, folks only know the Twilight from the video Sunset Shimmer posted online," she came up behind Twilight, "We need to help 'em see her differently."

"Hmm…" the group pondered on what to do.

"I GOT IT!" Rarity screeched throughout the entire building, earning herself stares from everyone in the room.

She flashed a big toothy smile, darted her eyes around, and her cheeks blushed bright pink in embarrassment. So, choosing a much calmer tone, she cleared her throat, "I mean, um, perhaps I have a solution," she said as she walked to her bag.

She then reached in her bag, "Now this may be an absolutely preposterous idea, BUT what if tomorrow we all wore THESE as a sign of unity?" she asked as she pulled out a pair a yellow horse ears on a blue headband and a blue and yellow tail attached to a rope.

The group stared at Rarity quizzically.

"Freshman year, they were very, very popular, a way for everybody to show their school spirit," Rarity said as she put the headband on her head and wrapped the yellow and blue tail around her waist, "You know, 'go, Canterlot Wondercolts'!"

She smiled in slight embarrassment before clearing her throat and deadpanned, "I haven't sold any in ages," she said as she began to dig in her bag for more headbands and tails for everyone.

"I mean, the six of us are obviously very different, but deep down, we're all Canterlot Wondercolts," Rarity added, "Even you, Sonic."

The group then put on their headbands and tails, even Sonic. Then Rarity declared, "Sunset Shimmer is the one who divided us, Twilight Sparkle and Sonic the Hedgehog are the ones who united us, and we're going to let everyone know it!"

She then put another headband on Twilight's head and asked the others while looking at them, "What do you think?"

Pinkie smiled brightly, Applejack smiled with a thumbs up, Rainbow crossed her arms and grinned, Fluttershy put both her hands behind her back and smiled brightly, Spike looked at Twilight and Rarity with hearts in his eyes, mostly likely at Rarity we must add, and Sonic smiled super brightly with a double thumbs up and winked, "Way past cool, Rarity."

Rarity blushed a tiny bit at his words but smiled and nuzzled Twilight while Twilight had her right eye closed and smiled back. Rarity then looked at Rainbow. Rainbow saw her looking at her. Then Rarity motioned her eyes at Sonic, telling Rainbow to ask him out. Rainbow felt nervous and gulped as she walked up towards Sonic.

Sonic chuckled at the friendship. Then he heard a voice behind him, "Sonic?"

Sonic turned his head around and saw Rainbow blushing, "There's something I want to ask you," she said.

"Yeah?" Sonic asked.

"I was wondering, if you're not busy tomorrow… would you like… to go… to the dance… with me?" Rainbow asked blushing deeply.

The group took notice of this and had awestruck looks. Sonic thought for a moment at her question, and then he smiled taking Rainbow's hand, "Of course, Dashie," he answered.

Rainbow's eyes widened and her cheeks turned redder, "R-really?"

Sonic smiled more. "Yes, Dashie."

Rainbow had tears of joy and happiness as she pulled Sonic into a strong hug. Sonic was a little surprised, but smiled and hugged her back. Then when Rainbow let him go, she whispered, "Sonic, this is for everything you've done for me today."

Sonic knew what Rainbow was going to do, but smiled. Rainbow slowly closed her eyes, leaned forward and kissed Sonic on his lips and Sonic returned the kiss.

Rainbow's friends were all now happy for her. Rarity was in tears of joy as she smiled that it worked. "I knew she could do it. And I'm so happy that they're together now," she said to the others.

"Yeah, those two were meant for one another," Applejack said.

"Twilight," Spike whispered to Twilight so the others wouldn't hear him, "How would you feel if Sonic met OUR Rainbow Dash in Equestria?"

"I think I would feel just as happy as I do now," Twilight answered as she watched Sonic and Rainbow continue in their embrace and kiss.

Sonic and Rainbow broke their kiss after a moment while blushing madly and smiling and Sonic said, "I love you, Rainbow Dash. And even if I had to leave here and return home, I promise I will always come back and find you, my little Dashie."

Rainbow smiled. "I love you too, Sonic."

Sonic and Rainbow pulled each other into another strong and caring hug. The others cooed at the romance. They had all never seen this much happiness in front of them.

The next day at Canterlot High, it was a normal day for the students in the lunch period. The students were either chatting amongst themselves, playing with their phones, or showing off to other at the tables. Flash Sentry and a group of people who looked like his band mates were eating their food and listening to Flash play a bright red guitar.

Rarity, who was wearing a blue sweater with a yellow horseshoe shaped to look like a "C" on the chest, but had the same other clothes from before, sat down at a random table and discreetly put on her Wondercolts ears in preparation. Rainbow Dash, who wore the same sweaters, sat down a random table as well and put on her ears too. Pinkie Pie, unlike the others, was standing in the lunch line, but she was wearing the same sweater as well and she put on her ears as well.

Pinkie took her empty tray and started to bang it on the counter in a rhythm. So after she did, Rarity started stomping her foot to imitate the same rhythm, but clapped her hands to add to it. Then Fluttershy, who was also wearing the same sweater and ears, did the same thing by banging two empty glasses on another table. Many of the other students were seeing this and wondering what was going on with them. Then Applejack, who was wearing the same sweater and ears as well and sitting in a different table, was clapping her hands and banging them on a table following the rhythm. Rainbow had an empty tray and was banging it on her table with the rhythm her friends were making.

When the friends were doing the rhythm at the same perfect timing, Sonic and Spike were behind a counter. Sonic was also wearing a Canterlot Wondercolts sweater and the ears, while Spike was in Twilight's backpack. Sonic snapped his fingers at Spike, and Spike turned on a radio that started to play a song next to them. Sonic then rubbed his medallion and transformed it into his guitar. He then sprinted into the middle of the cafeteria surprising everyone and started playing along with the song as Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rarity, and Rainbow got out of their places and started to sing.

Everyone in the cafeteria was having so much fun, no one was noticing Sunset was watching them through the doors' windows. She was looking angry that everyone was becoming friends. She then turned around and saw Snips and Snails dancing and wearing Wondercolt ears and tails.

"Take those off!" Sunset ordered.

The teens stopped dancing and took off their ears and tails. They stood in a soldier position. "I have something I need you to do," Sunset said with a sinister grin slowing growing upon her face.

Back inside, Sonic somehow saw Sunset through the window and snuck out a different way. No one saw him leave, because they were still having so much fun. When Sonic snuck out, he removed his sweater and ears and put back on his vest hoodie over his shirt, but he didn't have his backpack with him. He knew that Twilight was holding onto it, because it had the Chaos Emeralds and his equipment in it.

"All right, what was Sunset up to?" Sonic thought.

He was about to move, but then he heard the sound of footsteps coming towards him from behind. He turned around and before he knew it, he was hit in the face by a wooden baseball bat. He fell to the floor holding his hand on his face where the bat hit him. When he looked up, he went wide-eyed at who it was. It was Sunset Shimmer.

"Bet you didn't see that coming," Sunset grinned.

Sonic struggled to get up, but it was no good. That attack really made his body unstable. "Ah, you won't get away with this," he said.

"I wouldn't be so confident… hedgehog," Sunset smirked.

Sonic went wide-eyed in utter shock as he heard her say that. "What-! How did you-?!"

"Spoiler alert; I watched you explain yourself to the girls outside this school yesterday," Sunset said as she lowered herself towards Sonic, "I learned everything about you. And now that I know everything, you can't seem to defend your true self any longer. Oh wait, I forgot, your cover was already blown and revealed yesterday. A real bummer for you, wasn't it?"

Sonic groaned and growled, "Why can't you just leave Twilight alone? She never did anything to you," he said.

"Oh, that's where you're wrong, Sonic," Sunset said, "That miserable excuse, Twilight, for a princess took away my rightful place. All I'm doing is just what it takes to get it back."

"Quit these games!" Sonic demanded, "I know that there's some good in your heart."

"I don't think so, Sonic," Sunset grinned sinisterly, "Once the magic from the crown is mine, your super powers are next. And once I have everyone serving me, you will become my willing slave… forever."

"You don't have to do this!" Sonic said.

"No, no I don't, but I choose to," Sunset said, "I may not be able to have your precious Chaos Emeralds right now, but everything is going according to plan."

"Plan? What plan?" Sonic asked.

"I'm having Snips and Snails wreck everything in the gym apart," Sunset said, "And I can make Principle Celestia believe it was Twilight, and then I'll become Princess of the Fall Formal and of Equestria."

Sonic gasped, "Oh no…"

"Indeed," Sunset smirked as she raised the baseball bat, "Till we meet again, Prince Sonic."

Before Sonic could move, Sunset swung the baseball bat at Sonic's jaw, and the swing was so hard, it knocked Sonic out. He was unconscious. Sunset then put a piece of tape over the unconscious hero's mouth. She tied Sonic's hands and feet up with ropes and shoved him into an empty unused locker.

Sunset then grabbed Sonic's chin, and that was when Sonic's eyes were slightly open, but he could see her.

"Don't worry, Sonic," Sunset said, "I won't leave in here for too long as soon as it comes close to the end of the day, sweetie."

Sunset leaned her head forward and she placed a kiss on Sonic's forehead. Sonic was barely conscious, but he glared at Sunset with angry eyes.

Sunset just scoffed as she shut the door and put a lock on it so Sonic wouldn't escape. She then began to walk away chuckling evilly, "Now to put everything else to plan."

Students began to pour out into the hallways as the school bell rang. Each one of them was wearing Wondercolt ears and tails.

"Doesn't everyone look just fabulous? Rarity asked.

"That was a great idea, Rarity," Twilight said, but then she looked around, "Hey, wait a second, where's Sonic?"

"Maybe he went out for a little bit," Fluttershy suggested.

Applejack then looked surprised at the look on Sunset's face as she and her lackeys Snips and Snails walked through the halls, causing everyone to have panicked expressions. But Applejack's look soon turned displeased. "Don't know what she's smilin' about. Twilight's the one that's gonna be the Princess of the Fall Formal," she said to her friends.

Sunset and her lackeys walked past the girls while Snips gave them the "I'm watching you" motion with his two fingers and Snails only quietly snickered to himself about how funny he found it. Twilight and her friends just stared as Sunset and her cronies approached a door in the hallway. The troublesome trio gazed at Twilight and her friends and then turned to the door; which Sunset knocked on three times.

The door opened revealing a woman. She had dark blue hair with a silver streak, lighter blue skin, and aqua-blue eyes. She was wearing a pink T-shirt with a white collar that had a moon symbol on the front, a dark blue belt around her waist, dark blue pants, and white and purple shoes.

The woman saw Sunset with a troubled expression as she spoke, "Vice Principle Luna, something terrible has happened!"

Vice Principle Luna and Sunset were in the gym. It was in complete ruins. The decorations were ripped, many balloons had been popped, and many tables were broken.

"Isn't this just awful?" Sunset asked, feigning distress, "And after Pinkie Pie and Sonic worked so hard to make look so perfect," she gave Luna the 'puppy dog eyes' look, "Why would Twilight Sparkle do something like this?"

"Why would you think Twilight was responsible for something like this?" Luna asked Sunset.

"Because I have proof," Sunset said, pulling out a folder and showing it to Luna.

Neither of them knew that Flash Sentry was spying on them, looking through the door. Flash had a suspicious look on his face and left.

Later, Twilight found herself in the near-dark abyss of Vice Principle Luna's office. The only light that they had was from the sun barely shining through the halfway opened blinds.

Twilight was the first one to speak, "But- but I don't understand."

Luna set the folder on her desk, allowing it to open on its own as she asked Twilight, "This is clearly you in the photographs, is it not?"

Twilight looked at the photos in the folder. The first one showed that Twilight was kicking a couple of chairs, the second one showed her kicking a wooden plank in half, and in the third, she had a smile on her face as if she was satisfied.

Twilight, truly horrified by this impossible evidence, tried to speak, "Yes, but-"

Luna used her hands to slightly, but briefly, open the blinds a bit to peer through them and then she returned her gaze at Twilight, "I think it should be fairly obvious that the school cannot let someone who would do something like this compete for the Fall Formal crown."

Luna then walked over to her desk and put her hands down on it, glaring at Twilight while the latter was trying to explain herself, but quickly submitted when she put her hands over her face. Then there was the sound of two knocks on the door and a familiar male voice said as the door opened, "Vice Principle Luna."

Twilight and Luna turned to Flash with something in his hands, "I found these in a trash can in the library," he said as he walked over to them and gave Luna what seemed to be his own evidence.

Twilight couldn't believe the scene unfolding before her eyes. "I thought you should see them," Flash said.

Luna looked over Flash's evidence. They were three cut photos. She put them over Sunset's evidence; they made a perfect match. "Someone obviously combined these photos to make it look like Twilight was the one who trashed the gym," Flash said.

"I appreciate you bringing this to my attention, Flash," Luna said.

Luna then turned to walk to her desk chair, sat down, and said to Twilight, "In light of this new evidence, you may, of course, continue your bid to be crowned the Princess of the Fall Formal."

Twilight smiled broadly and ran up to hug Flash who was opening the blinds and brightening the room in the process, "Thank you! You have no idea how important this is to me!"

Twilight soon realized what she was doing and let go of Flash while blushing and smiling nervously.

"What was I going to do? Not prove your innocence? Wouldn't be much of a Canterlot Wondercolt, would I?" Flash asked as she shuffled closer to Twilight.

Luna was about to speak again when…

BANG! BANG! BANG! There was a sound of something banging a locker. Luna, Twilight, and Flash came outside of Luna's office to see what was going on. They saw that one of the lockers was being banged from the inside.

Luna pulled out a key to unlock the lock from the locker. She opened it and instantly a very familiar male student fell out on the floor, causing Luna, Twilight, and Flash to gasp. It was Sonic, but he had a piece of tape over his mouth while his hands and feet were tied up.

"Sonic! Are you okay? What happened?" Twilight asked as she pulled the tape off Sonic's mouth.

"Sunset snuck up behind me and knocked me out with a baseball bat," Sonic said as he sat up.

Luna and Flash helped untie the ropes from Sonic's hands and feet as Sonic told Twilight, "And yet, not only does she want the crown so badly, now she wants the Chaos Emeralds too."

"Well, that's bad. Oh, here's your backpack," Twilight said as she handed Sonic's backpack to him.

Sonic checked inside it and the emeralds, and his rings were still inside while he had his beam sword in his pocket. After his hands and feet were free, he stood up.

"Well, I'm afraid enough damage has been done to the gym that we will have to postpone the dance until tomorrow night," Luna said as she began to leave, "If you will excuse me, I need to let my sister know about this latest development."

Luna left Sonic, Twilight, and Flash alone in the hallway. Sonic felt he this was his fault because he couldn't stop Sunset. Then Flash broke the silence, "So, uh, I was wondering… if you aren't already going with somebody, want to go to the Fall Formal with me tomorrow night?" he asked Twilight.

Twilight and Flash were staring into each other's eyes. Twilight, who was still blushing with a blissful smile on her face, placed her hand on Flash's chest and said, "That would be-"

It was just then she finally said a shocking truth. "Tomorrow night!?" she freaked out, and said several times much to Flash's dismay, "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"

She grabbed her backpack and the back collar of Sonic's backpack, pulling him across the floor as she ran out of the hallway and yelled, "I can't-! The portal-! That'll be too late! C'mon, Sonic!"

Flash just stood there for a moment before he cupped his hands over his mouth and called out, "One 'no' would've been fine!"

Flash then just put his hands in his pockets and walked away with a defeated look on his face.

Twilight pulled Sonic by his backpack all the way across town until the arrived at a boutique. Inside were Rainbow, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity choosing the dresses for the Fall Formal. They didn't know the Fall Formal wasn't going to happen.

Suddenly, they all saw Twilight bursting inside while pulling Sonic into a changing room, obvious to Fluttershy and Rarity's worried glances. Twilight put down her backpack on a stool to let Spike climb out, let go of Sonic's backpack, leaned against a wall, and took a deep breath as she slid down the wall to sat down.

"Everything okay in there?" Rarity called out.

"Yes!" Twilight's voice responded from behind the curtain.

"Um, Twilight and I just need to have a small talk," Sonic's voice said.

Twilight and Sonic started to whisper so the others wouldn't hear them. "Only it's not okay. It's not okay at all. If I don't get my crown tonight, I won't be able to go back to Equestria for another thirty moons," Twilight said worried to Sonic and Spike, "Oh, what are we going to do?"

Sonic and Spike looked at each other for a moment. Then Sonic nodded to Spike that Twilight had to tell the truth. And Spike nodded back. Then he and Sonic turned their heads back to Twilight as Sonic said, "I told you and them the truth about me already, so now it's you who has to tell them the truth."

"W-what?" Twilight asked.

"He's right. We tell them the truth. Let them know about what's really at stake if you don't get the crown tonight. They'll help us figure out something," Spike said as he put his paw on Twilight's leg reassuringly.

"But what if they don't? What if when they find out just how different I really am?" Twilight asked.

Twilight looked in the mirror and to her and Sonic's surprise, they saw a horned and winged pony that looked just like Twilight looking back at her. Then Sonic lowered himself and placed his hand on her shoulder as he too looked into the mirror. Then he saw himself in the mirror but in his hedgehog form. Twilight saw this too and was surprised.

"Twilight, these girls have railed around you because they saw what was in your heart," Spike said as he sat up so Twilight and Sonic could see him in the mirror.

When they looked back at their selves, their reflections were humans again.

"And they're not gonna feel any different about you when they find out that you're a pony princess in Equestria," Sonic said.

Twilight turned away from the mirror and smiled at Spike. "I'm glad you followed me here, Spike," she said as she patted Spike on his head.

"Me too," Spike said as he wagged his tail, but then he glanced at the floor, "Unless, of course, we get stuck here for another thirty moons."

"And I'm so glad I have someone like you as a friend, Sonic," Twilight said as she turned to Sonic.

Sonic smiled, "Me too."

Then Twilight and Sonic stood up and hugged each other. Then knowing this was now or never, them and Spike whipped the curtain open getting their friends' attention.

"You guys okay?" Applejack asked.

"The Fall Formal isn't happening tonight," Twilight said.

"What!?" Pinkie exclaimed as her eyes widened in shock.

"It had to be proposed because Sunset had Snips and Snails ruin all of the decorations," Sonic said.

"WHAT!?" Pinkie screeched.

"But the Fall Formal has to happen tonight," Twilight said.

"Wha-?" Pinkie's word was cut off by Applejack covering her mouth with her hand.

Twilight sighed, "You see…"

Before she could continue, Pinkie broke free from Applejack's hand and said in one single breath, "You're from an alternate world and you're a pony princess there, and the crown actually has a magical element embedded in it that helps power up other magical elements, and without it, they don't work anymore, and you need them to help protect your magical world, and if you don't get the crown tonight, you'll be stuck in this world and you won't be able to get back for like a really, really long time!"

When she finished, she had a huge smile on her face with a proud squeal sound. Twilight, Spike, and Sonic all looked slack-jawed at Pinkie with wide eyes, but Rainbow just scratched the back of her head and rolled her eyes, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that isn't the reason."

"Nope, she's pretty much spot on," Spike spoke.

"HE CAN TALK!?" Rarity gasped loudly in shock while the other girls were completely surprised.

Twilight grimaced as Spike approached her friends and reared up on his hind legs as he said, "Oh, yeah. And back where I come from, I'm not even a dog. I'm a ferocious fire-breathing dragon!"

"Oh, good grief," Sonic groaned as he face palmed.

Fluttershy suddenly pushed Pinkie and Rarity aside. "This is so amazing! Tell me, what are you thinking right now?" she asked as she got close to Spike.

Spike looked at Fluttershy who had a creepy face then turned to Rarity who still had a shocked face. He then sauntered over to Rarity and looked at her longingly as he said, "Sure would love a scratch behind the old ears."

"Gah…" Rarity moaned.

"Uh, maybe later," Spike said as he scratched his head.

"How did you know all that?" Twilight asked Pinkie.

"Just a hunch," Pinkie answered.

"Wait a minute," Applejack said as she held her hands up, "Lemme get this straight. You're a pony?"

"You're a princess?" Rarity asked as her right eye twitched.

"You're from another world just like Sonic?" Fluttershy asked.

Twilight scratched the back of her head, blushed, and gulped nervously, "Mm-hmm."

"That is… awesome!" Rainbow said.

Sonic stepped back as all the girls gathered around Twilight, eagerly asking about her life in Equestria.

"See? Told ya," Spike said.

Twilight smiled. Sonic smiled too, but then he frowned as he started to walk away. Twilight saw this and walked forward a few steps getting her friends to stop, "Sonic, what's wrong?"

Sonic sighed, "This is my fault."

"What do you mean?" Applejack asked.

"I should've known Sunset had known about me," Sonic said sadly.

"Darling, there was nothing you could do about it," Rarity said.

"If only I had known that she would've sneaked up behind me, I would've stopped her and her little lackeys from getting the crown, but now Twilight's not gonna be able to go home, and it's all because of me," Sonic said as tears started to form in his eyes.

"Sonic, I don't blame you for what happened," Twilight said reassuringly.

"None of us blame you," Pinkie said, "You're our friend."

"How can you say that?" Sonic asked, "Not only has this happened, but Sunset now wants the Chaos Emeralds for more power, and if I hadn't have told Tails to use that machine, I wouldn't have come here, and none of this would've happened."

Sonic walked towards the door feeling so guilty for everything that happened. He was reaching for the nob to open the door, but just as his hand was just inches away, he felt a hand touch his shoulder. He turned around and saw Rainbow looking at him.

Sonic turned his head away, worrying about what was about to happen, but then he felt Rainbow's hand touching his cheek and turning his head at her. Rainbow then softly cupped Sonic's cheeks and brought her lips to his into a soft, but passionate kiss. Tears fell from Sonic's eyes as he depended the kiss. He knew now that his friends had forgiven him.

When Rainbow broke the kiss, she looked deeply into Sonic's emerald eyes as she said, "It's all right, Sonic. You only made a mistake, and I forgive you for it. And I love you."

Then the rest of the girls came into a group hug with Sonic and Rainbow. "All of us forgive you, Sonic, and the rest of us love you as a brother and the best friend we could ever have," Twilight said, "And if you hadn't come, how would you have met Rainbow Dash?"

Sonic smiled, "Thank you."

The group shared their hug for a few minutes. When they broke it, Sonic said, "Now how about we head to Canterlot High and fix everything?"

The other girls cheered in agreement. Sonic smiled, "Way past cool."

Later, the girls, Sonic, and Spike arrived in the gym where everything was still in a complete mess. Overturned chairs and tables littered the floor, the streamers were all tangled up in the ceiling, and the disco ball was still in one piece but it was stuck in a pile.

"I simply cannot believe they did all this," Rarity said.

"If only I had some kind of… party cannon that could decorate everything super fast," Pinkie's voice fell as she realized she didn't indeed have a party cannon.

"I know it seems impossible, but…" Twilight started.

"Maybe if we all work together?" Sonic finished for her.

("Time to come together" playing)

"Now that's the kind of can-do spirit Ah'm looking for in both a Fall Formal Princess and a hero!" Applejack stated as she stuck her hand into the middle of the group, "Let's do it, y'all!"

"Absolutely!" Rarity said putting her hand on Applejack's.

"Rock on!" Rainbow said doing the same.

"Yes-indeedidly!" Pinkie said doing the same too.

"Yay!" Fluutershy said joining in.

"All right!" Sonic said joining in as well.

Everyone looked expectantly at Twilight. Twilight hesitated, but she finally put her hand on top of the others' and joined them as they raised their hands in the air.

Twilight: It's time for us to come together

So come on and lend a helping hand

Twilight and Spike carried buckets and brooms out of a supply closet. They tossed the brooms to their friends. Sonic did a backflip and caught his. Rainbow caught her and twirled it in the air. Applejack caught hers right in front of her. Rarity's broom hit her in the stomach, but she caught it before it fell. Pinkie caught hers as she hopped in the air and smiled. Fluttershy flinched before her broom even reached her. The broom hit her back and clattered to the floor.

Sonic blew the ripped streamers, popped balloons and shattered pieces of glass into a garbage bag. Seeing it was full, Applejack tied it up and tossed it to Fluttershy, who tossed it to Rarity, who tossed it to Rainbow, who made a basket into a garbage pail held by Pinkie.

Meanwhile, Twilight grabbed the edge of table and struggled to pull it out the door. Sonic came over and tried to help, but before he did, two teenage boys appeared in the doorway. They saw Twilight having trouble moving the table. They decided to come in and help. They each took an end, but stopped and stared with awe as Applejack passed them carrying another table under one arm out of the doorway. Twilight giggled, and Sonic couldn't help but chuckle himself.

Rainbow and Pinkie: It's time to show that we got school spirit

Soon, seeing this, the other girls started trying to attract more help themselves. Pinkie somehow started sweeping the floor with her pink, puffy hair, holding her broom high in the air. No one came to help, and when she stood up, her hair was all covered up in garbage and dust, but she still giggled like she didn't have a care in the world.

Fluttershy and Rarity had much more success in tossing the streamers into rafters, skipping and high-fiving as they did. Two well-dressed girls noticed this and decided to help out. More students, from every clique in the school, followed, and gracefully, they started to forget about their differences.

A mustached boy wearing a headband and a shirt with a globe logo joined the fashionists in hanging streamers. One of them used some leftover streamer to copy his headband, and they all laughed when another started hanging out streamer necklaces.

A petite girl with glasses joined one of the boys who had helped Twilight in carrying an amplifier onstage. They passed a boy with a bowl-shaped haircut trying to hang a new spotlight. He started to greet them, but he overbalanced. But he would've fallen if a burly boy hadn't steadied his ladder. He gave the smaller boy a thumbs up. Twilight smiled proudly at all of this and Sonic smiled too.

Flash and his band were testing out their instruments, and then looked a guy with glasses who was on a sound effect table. He pushed up a switch and gave a thumbs up, saying he was ready. Flash and his band nodded and started playing again. While Twilight was using a broom while walking backwards, she bumped into Flash. They both turned around and looked at each other. Flash smiled at Twilight while Twilight blushed but smiled as well.

It was all done. Everyone fixed and redecorated the gym in time for the Fall Formal. Twilight, Sonic, and their friends stood on the stage. Each of the girls had their hands on each other's shoulders while Sonic and Rainbow were holding hands.

"This… looks… soooooo GOOD!" Pinkie said. And she was right; it was a job well done, and they had done it all together.

The sounds of clapping turned to see Principle Celestia applauding the students' work. Vice Principle Luna stood behind her holding a locked blue box with a slot in the lid.

"All right, everyone!" Celestia said, "The Fall Formal is back on for this evening."

The students cheered, but they quickly quieted down when they all saw Celestia spread out her arms and announce, "So you'd better get out of here and start getting ready. Oh, and don't forget to cast your ballots for Fall Formal Princess on your way out."

The students began to file out the door, scribbling on papers as they walked and slipping them into Luna's box. "You got my vote, Twilight," a guy said.

"Mine too!" said a girl.

"Mine too!"

Sonic smiled that everything was going to be normal again. And soon, he, his friends and all the students left the gym to cast their ballots.

No one knew that the broom door was cracking open. Inside was Sunset who was spying on the students casting their votes for the Fall Formal Princess. She scowled and rounded on Snips and Snails sitting next to her on the floor.

"You're lucky she was able to pull this off. Next time I ask you to make a mess of things, try to show a little restraint," Sunset said.

She then turned back to the closet and grinned a wicked grin, "I need this Fall Formal to go on tonight just as much as she and her new friend do…"

Meanwhile, with Sonic's nemesis, Eggman was preparing some kind of a giant robot. It was large with wings on its back, a drill on its left arm, and a cannon on its right arm.

"I'm glad Sonic helped those girls fix everything for the Fall Formal tonight. This will be fun to destroy a party myself. And it will be a pleasure to meet Princess Twilight at last."

"Boss, the new and improved Egg Dragoon is almost ready!" Orbot informed.

"Excellent, and make sure that Sonic has the biggest surprise of his life, the return… of I; Dr. Eggman! AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Sonic, his friends, and the ballots cast began to walk home. They all only had a few hours to prepare for the Fall Formal. Sonic smiled, "In only a couple of hours, Twilight will have her crown back, she'll return to Equestria, and even I can return to Mobius," he thought.

"I still can't believe we pulled that off," Fluttershy remarked at her rival.

"I can! We're awesome!" Rainbow said.

"You're more than awesome, Rainbow," Sonic said, "You're the coolest and cutest girl I've ever met."

Rainbow blushed but smiled. "Aw, you're too sweet, Sonic," she said as she gave Sonic a kiss.

"Enough chatter," Rarity interrupted, "We need to get ready, and we need to look fabulous."

Later, at Rarity's home, everyone was getting ready for the Fall Formal. Fluttershy looked at herself in a mirror while holding a green dress with a shade of orange on the skirt in her hands in front of her. Pinkie tried on a gaudy ensemble after another too quickly, each different for the other, and she didn't seem to find any one of them satisfying for her. Sonic was working on something he could be using for the Fall Formal.

Rainbow was in a yellow and pink frilly dress with a bow in her hair making a ponytail. She glared annoyingly at Rarity while Rarity smiled nervously. Then Applejack was wearing a green dress with a skirt that fell to her feet that had the same apple logo that were on her original boots. Rarity thought for a moment, then smiled as she rushed at Applejack and raised the bottom of the skirt a little and started to sew it. Applejack gave an absolutely frustrated look. It was obvious this dress wouldn't really work.

Pinkie kept trying out different hairstyles and looking at them in the mirror. Each of them looked like artifacts and animals. Then when her hair looked like she just came out of a shower, it became all puffy again and Pinkie smiled that it was the right one. Fluttershy was brushing her hair with a hair blush while a red and white bird held a bit of her hair as a white bunny brushed it. Spike just looked in another mirror and held different types of fake mustaches just to be funny.

Later, while everyone was trying to make themselves look perfect for the Fall Formal, Rarity came with a chest in her hands. Everyone else stopped what they were doing and looked. Rarity opened the chest revealing so many accessories. Everyone else threw an excited smile onto their faces.

Rarity swung the chest up, and the accessories flew out. Pinkie tried on an earing that looked just like the balloons on her skirt. Rarity put on a necklace that had a few large and many small diamonds. Then Rainbow shoved on a pink boot with pink wings on the sides. And Applejack put on a new Stetson hat with a red rose on it on her head.

Now Twilight's friends were all in different dresses for the Fall Formal. Rarity was wearing a bright blue dress, her same gold bracelets, and now white boots with a diamond on the center at the top.

Fluttershy was wearing a cyan dress with a yellow skirt under it, a few butterflies going down the center, a new cyan and purple butterfly hairclip in her hair, and pink and cyan boots with white butterflies on them.

Applejack was wearing a blue dress with red apple logos across the end of the skirt, a small white scarf around her neck, a new Stetson hat with a pale green streak on the middle and a red rose on the side, a green bracelet on each wrist, and new brown leather boots with green on the feet and an apple logo on the top in the center.

Pinkie was wearing a cyan dress with a pink and purple skirt with a yellow bow, a small cyan hat with a yellow bowtie on it as well on her head, her same blue bracelets, and purple boots with yellow bows on them as well.

Rainbow was wearing a rainbow dress with a blue skirt, a red ribbon around her waist, and a gold cloud and lightning blot symbol on the center of the dress, purple fingerless and elbow length gloves, and pink boots with pink wings on the sides.

Twilight and Sonic gave applause at their friends' choices. Then Rarity pushed Twilight into a certain and gave her a dress she was holding. It took about a minute, and when the certain opened, there stood Twilight in a stunning dress. The dress was in a shade of pink with purple and white streaks, a white bow around her waist, and three star symbols on the side of the skirt, and she was even wearing new pink and white boots.

Sonic and Twilight's friends all gave an amazed look at Twilight. Then everyone turned to Sonic to see if he had anything in mind for the Fall Formal. Sonic smirked as he stepped inside the certain. The girls could hear Sonic tapping his TSP. Then suddenly, a bright light shined from inside. The girls covered their eyes from the light. When the light faded, Rarity opened the certain and all the girls gasped at what they were seeing.

Sonic was wearing a white tuxedo with a red tie, his red shoes with the sports tape were replaced with shoes that looked the same, but they were bright silver with gold buckles, he still had his TSP on his wrist and his extreme gears on his hands, and he even still had his medallion around his neck.

The girls stared at Sonic with awe-like expressions. Sonic smiled at them and gave them a thumbs up and a wink. Surprisingly, every one of the girls gave a blush, but Rainbow blushed madly red.

"He's so awesome," Rainbow thought.

Sonic smiled as he walked over to Rainbow and wrapped his right arm around her waist. Rainbow blushed more but smiled as she put her hands on Sonic's cheeks. Then the two pulled each other into a passionate kiss on the lips.

The other girls cooed at the romance. Then Sonic and Rainbow broke the kiss and stared into each other's eyes. "I love you, Soniku," Rainbow said.

"I love you too, Dashie," Sonic said.

Later, at Canterlot High, the moon shined brightly in the beautiful starry night, accompanied by three white shimmering stars that were slowly heading towards it. Students entered the school, all dressed up for the Fall Formal dance.

Soon, a black limo arrived in front of the school. Out stepped Sonic, Twilight, Spike, and their friends ready for the competition.

"Well, here we are," Sonic said as he then held his hand out to Rainbow, "Shall we?"

Rainbow blushed but smiled as she took Sonic's hand, "Yeah, let's go."

The two walked up the stairs into the school. Their friends started to follow, but then a black car with a symbol that looked like the one on Flash's shirt drove up. Then the driver's door opened, and out stepped Flash wearing a black tuxedo with a red rose on the side and calling out, "Twilight!"

Twilight turned around as Flash ran up the steps. "Look, I know you said 'no' about going to the Fall Formal with me, but would you reconsider and at least have one dance?" he asked as he blushed.

Twilight gazed at Flash. "I didn't say 'no', I mean I did, but… I didn't mean 'no' to you," she couldn't help blushing as well, "I was… well, what I mean is… yes. I'd love to dance with you."

Twilight and Flash linked arms and started towards the door, lost in each other's eyes. Flash was so lost he walked right into a closed door. Feeling embarrassed, he put his hand on his head, waving Twilight inside while Twilight was trying to see if he was okay. Twilight went in, and Flash soon followed.

Inside the party, Flash left Twilight early so he could join his band, but Twilight didn't mind. She kept waving every then and now out at him whenever Flash had finished playing a solo. In between songs, she would be scanning the gym.

"Anybody seen Sunset Shimmer?" she asked.

"Maybe she was too embarrassed to show!" Rainbow had to shout so her friends would hear her as Flash and his band started to play another loud song, "She's gotta know you won by a landslide!"

"Maybe…" Twilight said.

Sonic decided to have some fun with this. He began to breakdance extremely and students were amazed as they watched him doing multiple types of windmills, spin on his head and finish in a pose.

"Whew, all of that dancing made me thirsty," Sonic said as he went to a bowl of fruit punch.

Sonic took a plastic cup, filled it with punch, and finished it in seconds. As he was gonna fill his cup up for another drink, Flash and his band thrummed their final chord, and Principle Celestia took center stage.

"First off, I want to say how wonderful everything looks tonight. You all did a magnificent job pulling things together after the unfortunate events earlier," Celestia said as Vice Principle Luna walked onstage with a chest in her hands.

"And now, without further ado," Celestia said, "I'd like to announce the winner of this year's Princess of the Fall Formal!"

Luna opened the chest to reveal a gold crown with a light purple crystal star on it. Sonic could see Twilight staring at the crown, and hoped for her sake that she would win it after everything she'd been through.

Celestia took an envelop from Luna and continued, "The princess of this year's Fall Formal is…"

Twilight and Spike started to tremble waiting for the answer.

"Okay, this is it," Sonic thought.

Celestia opened the envelope and said, "Twilight Sparkle!"

Every student in the gym cheered for Twilight. Twilight and her friends hugged each other in celebration. Sonic felt happy for this, "Yes, she did it!"

Meanwhile, Spike was eating some of the food on the table. He didn't notice two familiar boys were sneaking up behind him.

"What the-" Spike was cut off when Snips and Snails grabbed him and held his mouth shut to keep him quiet as they started to drag him out of the gym.

"Congratulations, Twilight," Celestia said as she placed the crown upon Twilight's head.

The crown sparkled as Twilight looked out at her friends and Sonic and waved at the exuberant crowd. Nothing seemed to be going wrong until…

"TWILIGHT! HELP!"

"Spike?!" Twilight said.

Twilight and Sonic could barely see Spike being dragged by Snips and Snails out of the gym, "Ugh! Let go of me! Ugh! TWILIGHT!"

SLAM!

"They've got Spike!" Twilight shouted as she, Sonic and their friends ran after Snips and Snails.

They ran out into the hallway, slipping on a slippery floor and slamming into the lockers. Their friends rushed out after them. They saw Snips and Snails take an exit door that led outside. The followed them and chased them towards the horse statue. Snips and Snails ran around it and Sunset stepped out from behind it holding a sledgehammer.

Sunset raised the sledgehammer, causing Sonic, Twilight and their, friends to stop right in their tracks, "That's close enough!"

Twilight stood in utter shock that Sunset was going to destroy the statue. Sonic didn't know why, but he had a hunch that it was the portal to Equestria.

"Twilight-!" Spike tried to speak, but Snails shut his mouth.

"Don't hurt him," Twilight said.

"Oh, I wouldn't dream of it," Sunset said, "I'm not a monster, Twilight."

She turned to Snips and Snails and said, "Let him go."

Snips and Snails were confused but did what Sunset said. They gently put Spike down and Spike ran to Twilight. Twilight held him tightly.

"You don't belong here, and neither do you, Sonic," Sunset said, "Give me the crown and the Chaos Emeralds, and you can go back to your homes tonight. Or keep them and never go home."

Sunset raised the sledgehammer, preparing to smash the statue. Twilight gasped. "No, don't!" Sonic said.

"Tick-tock, you two. We haven't got all night," Sunset said as she then turned her head and looked at the moon with the three shimmering stars moving closer towards it, "The portal will be closing on its own in less than an hour."

Twilight and Sonic thought for a moment. "So… what are your answers?" Sunset asked.

Twilight took her crown off her head and held it in front of her. Sonic just stood where he was. Then they looked at each other for a second then turned their heads to Sunset and said, "No."

"What?!" Sunset said, "Equestria. Mobius. Your friends. Lost to both of you forever. Don't you see what I'm about to do to the portal?"

"Yes, but we've also seen what you've been able to do here without magic," Twilight said, "Equestria will find a way to survive without my Element of Harmony."

"Mobius will find a way to survive without the Chaos Emeralds," Sonic said.

"This place might not if we allow them to fall into your hands," Twilight said, "So go ahead. Destroy the portal. You are not getting this crown."

Twilight put her crown back on her head. "You are not getting the Chaos Emeralds," Sonic said, "And if I had to make a choice about going home or staying here, I would choose to stay, and that is because now I have someone that I love!"

Sonic and Rainbow held each other's hands. Sunset stood for a second and said, "Fine. You win."

With that, Sunset dropped the sledgehammer on the ground. It almost hit Snips and Snails' feet. Twilight and Sonic were surprised, but they smiled that Sunset gave up.

"Both of you are SO awesome!" Rainbow squealed.

"Can't believe you were gonna do that for us," Applejack said as she playfully slapped Twilight's arm.

"It's no wonder you're a real life princess, Twilight," Rarity said, "And it's hard to believe you're both a prince and a hero, Sonic."

Sunset got annoyed, "Ugh! Yes. They're so very special."

Sunset jumped right up and tackled Twilight. The crown fell off of Twilight's head. Twilight tried to reach it, but Sunset grabbed her and pulled her back. Then she crawled over Twilight to grab the crown, but Twilight grabbed Sunset's foot. Sunset reached for the crown and almost caught it, but then Spike jumped on her head and took the crown running.

Sunset growled. "Grab him, you fools!" she told Snips and Snails.

Snips and Snails chased Spike as he held the crown in his mouth. They almost caught him, but then Sunset pushed them out of the way so she would grab the crown herself. Then the teens got back up and followed while the other girls and Sonic chased them.

Spike reached the doors, but he couldn't open them because he wasn't able to reach the nob. Sunset was right behind him. Spike whimpered.

"Spike! Spike!" Rainbow shouted holding her arms out.

Spike saw and he quickly swung his head to the side as he released the crown and it flew right past Sunset. Rainbow caught it as she front flipped in the air. Snips sneaked up behind her and grabbed the crown, but Rainbow pulled it out of his hands. Then she saw Snails coming at her by the corner of her eye. She put her hand on his face to keep him from reaching the crown.

Then Rainbow passed it to Fluttershy, "Fluttershy!"

Fluttershy turned around and the crown hit her back. Then she turned back around and caught the crown before it fell on the ground. Now Sunset, Snips and Snails were charging right at her. Fluttershy got scared. Applejack quickly pulled out a whip and swung it at Fluttershy to pull her back. The crown flew out of Fluttershy's hands and Snips caught it. But then, Pinkie sneakily took and passed it to Rarity. Rarity then tossed it to Twilight. Snips and Snails ran right at her, making her accidently throw the crown away.

Sunset caught the crown in her hands, "I'll take that."

Everyone turned to Sunset as she chuckled evilly, "At last."

Spike growled as Twilight picked him up and held him back. Sunset grinned sinisterly, "More power than I could ever imagine."

She put the crown on her head. Then suddenly the crystal on it formed dark green magic on it. A cyan green aura formed around Sunset. And suddenly a massive bright cyan beam of energy pulsed into the sky. Dark clouds appeared in the sky. Inside the beam, Sunset rose into the air. Students came from inside the school to see what was going on.

Inside the energy, Sunset was changing. No was able to tell what was happening. When the energy finally faded, Sunset had transformed into a demon. Her skin changed from orange to red, her hair pointed upward like a flame, and her eyes were blackened with her same aqua-green irises. She was now wearing a red and yellow dress and dark boots. She also had enormous demon wings on her back, demon ears, a red and yellow tail, and the crown was on her head.

Sunset gave an amazed look at her new form as she laughed. Then she suddenly formed orbs in her hands and fired energy beams at Snips and Snails. They both now had demons forms of their own. Snips' formed showed him having blue skin, wings, pointy blue hair and blood red eyes. Snails' skin turned orange while he had demon wings, pointy orange hair, and blood red eyes as well.

"This is gonna be so cool!" Snips said.

Sonic and the others turned around and started to back up. Pinkie and Applejack were scared while Sonic and Rainbow had their fists raised to defend themselves. Twilight growled, but then she noticed some of the students were leaving the school. When Sunset turned her face at them, the students screamed as they ran back inside and shut the doors.

Sunset lowered herself from the air to the ground. "I've had to jump through so many hoops tonight just to get my hands on this crown, and it really should have been mine all along," she said o the students.

They students were terrified but also surprised that demon was Sunset herself. Sunset growled at them for a moment, but then smiled as she said calmly, "But let's let bygones be bygones. I am your princess now."

Sunset held her hand out as it glowed cyan, "And you will be loyal… to me!"

Sunset used her magic to break a large hole in the wall. The students began to scream as they ran. Sunset flew inside and placed her fingers on her head. Then her eyes glowed cyan as cyan rings appeared around everyone's head. When they all turned around, their eyes were all glowing cyan as they all moaned. They were under Sunset's control.

Sunset gave a smile that her plan was actually working. Then Snips and Snails came over to her. "Round them up and bring them to the portal," Sunset ordered.

Snips and Snails placed the side of their right hands on their heads and went to round up the mind-controlled students. As Sunset walked outside, she saw Twilight and Sonic standing right in her way.

Sunset smiled. "Spoiler alert. I was bluffing when I said I was going to destroy the portal. I don't want to rule this pathetic little high school. I want Equestria. And with my own little teenage army behind me, I'm going to get it!" she said.

Twilight saw that Flash as well was under Sunset's control. Her eyes widened in fear for a moment, but then she looked back at Sunset, "No, you're not."

"Oh, please. What exactly do you think you're going to do to stop me?" Sunset asked, "Even with Sonic on your side, I have magic, and you have nothing."

Sunset's hair glowed bright. Somehow, Sonic was cool, "You think Twilight and I are alone? Think again."

"They have us," Rainbow said as she and the others stood up showing they all had courage.

Twilight and Sonic smiled at them while Sunset growled. The girls stood beside Twilight and Sonic while Rainbow and Sonic held their hands. Then Sunset just laughed at this, "Gee, the gang really is all back together again. And they also have a guy standing with them."

Sunset whipped a tear from her eye, then she suddenly formed an orange orb of energy between her hands as her eyes glowed cyan, "Now step aside. Twilight and Sonic have tried to interfere with my plans one too many times already."

She raised the orb in her hands above her, "They need to be dealt with."

Sunset threw the energy orb right at Twilight and Sonic. Twilight covered herself in fear. Sonic quickly protected her while the other girls did the same right before the orb hit them.

Sunset laughed that she had won, but when she looked at where she threw the orb, she saw something that she really was not expecting, "What?"

The group was standing right where they were, but they didn't even have a scratch on them. But not only that, they were surrounded by bright purple magic. They all released the grip and looked around themselves. They all held their hands. Twilight looked around and was surprised. Rarity and Applejack saw their hands were holding each other and they smiled at each other. Twilight then turned and saw that Sonic was in this as well. He was even surrounded by the magic and holding hands with Rainbow and the others.

Twilight smiled as she realized what was happening. "The magic contained in my element was able to unite with those that helped create it," she said.

Sunset looked at the crown and saw it was transferring bright purple magic from it onto Twilight, Sonic and their friends.

* Equestria Girls theme playing *

Applejack's ears turned to pony ears and her hair grew into a ponytail that fell close to her feet. Then her dress, hat, and boots all suddenly had sparkles all over them as she held her hat.

"Honesty," Twilight's voice said.

Fluttershy's ears turned to pony ears, she grew wings on her back, and a ponytail that fell to her feet. Then just like Applejack, her dress and boots became sparkly while she had her right eye closed.

"Kindness," Twilight's voice said.

Pinkie's ears turned to pony ears and she gained a puffy ponytail. She did a kart wheel as her dress and boots sparkled as well.

"Laughter," Twilight's voice said again.

Rarity's ears turned to pony ears and she gained a curly ponytail. She spun around a few times and flickered her hair as her dress and boots sparkled too.

"Generosity," Twilight's voice said.

Rainbow's ears turned to pony ears, she grew wings on her back, and she gained a ponytail. Her dress and boots sparkled as well.

"Loyalty," Twilight's voice said.

"Magic," she said as she as well gained pony ears, grew large wings on her back, and gained a ponytail.

Sonic's transformation was a little different. His ears turned to hedgehog ears, and he grew blue wings on his back. And his tuxedo became sparkly as well.

"Together with the crown, they create a power beyond anything you could imagine, but it is a power you don't have the ability to control," Twilight said.

Sunset started to struggle with the amount of power that was coming from the crown. It was transferring its power to Twilight and Sonic.

"The crown may be upon your head, Sunset Shimmer," Sonic said, "but you cannot wield it, because you do not possess the most powerful magic of all-"

Twilight and the girls held each other's hands and formed a heart with their arms as Twilight and Sonic both said, "The Magic of Friendship."

Sonic flew between the girls and held his hands sharing his new powers with them. He and Twilight both closed their eyes as they both shared their power with each other and their friends.

Suddenly, they all glowed as a red, orange, and yellow streak and a green, blue, and purple streak flew up in circles and made contact with each other. Then a bright rainbow beam shot right at Sunset. Sunset screamed in fear as the beam started to surround her.

"What. Is. Happening?" she said as she was surround by a rainbow tornado.

"Here and in Equestria…" Twilight said as she opened her eyes and they glowed completely white.

"…It is the only magic that can truly unite us all," Sonic finished for her as his eyes as well glowed completely white.

Then they transferred a rainbow streak at the student's foreheads, freeing them from Sunset's mind control. Snips and Snails weren't able to escape and they were surrounded by a rainbow tornado themselves. Then Sonic and Twilight held their hands out as everything glowed white.

When the light faded away, all the students came towards the hole in the wall. They all looked outside and saw the sky was cleared up from the clouds while Rainbow, Rarity, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Twilight and Sonic were all laying on the ground.

Spike came over Twilight and licked her cheek waking her up. Twilight sat up and held her hands out. Spike jumped to her and Twilight hugged him. Sonic seemed to struggle to get up for a moment, but then he felt a hand touching his. He looked and saw Rainbow smiling at him while she was flying in the air with her new wings. Sonic smiled as Rainbow pulled him up.

"Wow, you look so beautiful with wings," Sonic said.

"Same thing for you, handsome," Rainbow said.

Sonic and Rainbow gave each other a kiss on the lips. Then Sonic tried out his wings and he seemed to have no problem with flying with them for the first time. Then he walked over to Twilight, "You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm all right," Twilight said.

Sonic and Twilight then noticed that their friends were looking at something in front of all of them. They turned their heads and saw a giant hole in the ground. Sonic and Twilight could see something in the smoke that was coming from the center of the hole.

Sonic and Twilight walked closer to the hole to get a better look. When the smoked cleared, there was Sunset as her normal self again struggling to get up.

"You will never rule in Equestria," Twilight said, "Any power you may have had in this world is gone."

"Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are," Sonic said as the students came over to the hole to see Sunset, "You've shown them what is in your heart.

When Sunset got up, her clothes had a few rips while she had a few scraps on her face. She had tears running down her face, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, I didn't know there was another way," she whimpered to everyone.

"The Magic of Friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria," Twilight said revealing everything about herself in front of everyone, "It's everywhere."

Twilight's friend smiled at her while Pinkie jumped up and hugged Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Rarity.

"And you can seek it out, or you can forever be alone," Sonic said and turned to Sunset, "The choice is yours."

Sunset crawled as much as she could out of the hole. "B-But all I've ever done since being here is drive everyone apart," she said crying, "I don't know the first thing about Friendship."

Sunset felt a hand grab each of her hands. She looked up and saw Twilight holding her left hand while Sonic was holding her right hand. They both pulled her up onto her feet.

"I think they can teach you," Sonic said as he and Twilight looked at their friends.

"Those are my friends! Woo hoo!" Spike said.

"Did that dog just talk? Whoa. Weird," a guy said while all the other students gave a surprised look.

"Seriously? A talking dog is the weird thing about all this?" Spike asked.

"I for one think you're adorable," Rarity said as she picked Spike up and scratched behind his ear.

"Oh, yeah," Spike said.

Twilight and Sonic smiled. Then they both heard a very familiar voice from behind them, "I believe this belongs to you."

Twilight and Sonic turned around and saw Principle Celestia holding the crown in her hands. Sonic stepped aside for Twilight as Twilight bowed.

"A true Princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her," Celestia said as she put Twilight's crown on her head, "We have all seen that you are capable of just that."

"I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight," she said as she placed her hand on Twilight's chin and lifted her head to get her to look at her.

Twilight thought for a second, then nodded as she said, "I do."

"And I especially thank you for protecting all of us from danger, Sonic," Celestia said to Sonic, "You're a true hero."

"Thank you, and I am always here to protect everyone and everything, no matter what," Sonic said.

"And you're more than a hero, Sonic," Rainbow said as she flew over to Sonic and landed on her feet.

"I know," Sonic smiled as he gently stroked Rainbow cheek.

Sonic and Rainbow pulled each into a passionate kiss and the students cheered for Twilight and Sonic.

"Would now be a completely awkward time to ask you for that dance?" Flash asked as he held his hand out to Twilight.

Twilight thought for a moment and looked at the moon, then she looked back at Flash and smiled. But right before she said or did anything else, everyone suddenly heard thudding.

"Huh?" Sonic said as the ground then started to shake.

"Do you feel that?" Twilight asked.

The thudding got louder and louder and it sounded and felt like whatever it was, it was coming towards the school. Suddenly, a massive object landed on the street in front of the students and the school. The students all gasped at what they saw. Sonic was shocked that he recognized it. It was a giant robot that looked just like the Egg Dragoon from his Dark Gia adventure.

"Is that the Egg Dragoon?" Sonic thought.

Then a small flying pod appeared from behind the Egg Dragoon. It lowered a little revealing what it was inside. Sonic gasped at who it was; it was Eggman.

Eggman laughed evilly, "I'll bet you're surprised to see me and that I recognize you, Sonic!"

"Eggman!" Sonic growled as he clenched his fists.

"What?" Everyone asked confused.

"You know that man?" Applejack asked.

"He's my greatest enemy from my world," Sonic said.

"Indeed," Eggman said as he then turned to Twilight and gave a bow to her, "And it's a pleasure to meet you at last, Princess Twilight."

Twilight gasped, "What?! How do you know about me?!"

"That is quite simple, your highness," Eggman said respectively, "Ever since I arrived here a few months ago, I've hacked into everything and been watching over everyone, and since you came into the picture and told your friends about you, that interested me."

Twilight stepped back in fear. Eggman continued as he turned back to Sonic, "And I'm here for one thing that is your option, Sonic, you can give me the Chaos Emeralds if you have them, or everyone is destroyed. This Egg Dragoon is new and improved."

"Ah, let me think, um…" Sonic said, "How about neither?"

"I'm serious, oh, and I'm not sure if you noticed but your magic is gone," Eggman said smirking.

Sonic was confused for a moment, but then he turned his head and saw that his wings were gone and his hedgehog ears turned back into human ears, "Oh, great."

"Well?" Eggman asked getting impatient.

"You may have a new piece of junk while I had lost the magic and don't have the Chaos Emeralds…" Sonic started half lying.

Then he was instantly gone, making the students guess he just ran off. Then he just came back and he was back in his original clothes and shoes, "…But I still have my powers and can use them to take you down."

Sonic took out his power ring and it started to glow as it charged up. "I wouldn't do that if I were you," Eggman said holding his hand out.

Eggman snapped his fingers. Then the Egg Dragoon suddenly had an enormous missile coming out of its back. The missile the pointed right at the school, scaring everyone and making them step back. Sonic stopped charging his power ring.

"I'm pretty sure there's no way for you to stop this," Eggman said, "If I launch this missile, this school and all of its students including your new friends will be history."

"Oh, no," Sonic said as he then begged, "Please, don't do this."

"What? Me? Destroy so many innocent people just for this?" Eggman asked as he chuckled, "No, that's up to you and you alone. I'm happy just to take your life."

Eggman's Egg Mobile lowered to the ground and Eggman stepped out and walked towards Sonic slowly.

"So, this is how it's going to be," Eggman said walking around Sonic while Sonic listened, "You are going to stand right there and let me end you; very quickly… and very painfully. And I'll disarm the missile and let everyone, especially your new girlfriend, Rainbow Dash, live."

"And what happens if I try to fight?" Sonic asked.

"Then everyone in this school are all going to have a painful end," Eggman answered, " So, Sonic, what's it gonna be?"

Eggman held out his hand, waiting for Sonic to give him the power ring. Sonic turned his head and looked at his friends, mostly Rainbow. Rainbow formed tears in her eyes while she was scared while everyone else waited for Sonic's answer. Sonic had tears form in his eyes as well as he sighed, "I'm sorry, everyone. This is the only way you'll all be able to live."

Everyone went wide-eyed in utter shock while Rainbow had a waterfall of tears. Sonic turned back to Eggman and put his power ring in Eggman's hand. Eggman chuckled, "There you go."

Eggman got back onto his Egg Mobile and he flew above the Egg Dragoon. The Egg Mobile then lowered onto the Egg Dragoon and they attached to each other.

"No…" Rainbow whimpered.

Sonic stood where he was waiting for his end. Eggman chuckled more, "I hope you said your goodbyes, Sonic," he said.

Then Eggman thought about something for a moment, "But if you want, you can give your girlfriend one last goodbye," he said.

Sonic sighed as he turned around to everyone and waked over to them and stopped in front of them. "Everyone, whatever happens, I just want you to know, it was an honor to know you all."

Everyone nodded. Then Sonic turned to Rainbow and walked over to her. Rainbow still had tears in her eyes. When Sonic stopped, he said, "And Rainbow, whatever happens, I just want you to know, I love you."

Rainbow's tears slid down her face as she said, "I love you too."

Sonic and Rainbow hugged each other and gave each other a strong passionate kiss on the lips, sharing all of the love they held for each other. When they parted, the rest of their friends all came over to Sonic and gave him a caring hug to show how much they cared for him.

Sonic was ready for his end. He walked back to Eggman and said, "I'm ready, Eggman. Destroy me."

"Good," Eggman said as he inserted the power ring into a hole in his Egg Mobile to give the Egg Dragoon the ring's energy, "At last, my destiny to destroy the great Sonic the Hedgehog has arrived."

The Egg Dragoon raised its right arm and pointed it gun right at Sonic. Sonic closed his eyes, ready to meet his fate.

Everyone stood where they were watching as Eggman's Egg Dragoon charged up its cannon while Sonic waited.

"Goodbye, rodent," Eggman said.

The Egg Dragoon' s cannon was fully charged and aimed at Sonic. It fired a massive energy ball at him.

"NOOOOO!" Rainbow screamed.

But then as the Energy ball flew right towards Sonic, Sonic instantly opened his eyes, but they had suddenly glowed completely white. Just as the energy orb was right about to make contact with him, he quickly did a backflip with a powerful kick. The orb launched high into the air and disappeared into thin air. Everyone was in utter shock at what Sonic just did.

"WHAT!?" Eggman shouted.

Sonic clenched his fists as the seven Chaos Emeralds appeared around him. They all started to circle him. Sonic crossed his arms as the emeralds sun faster and faster. Then when the emeralds entered into Sonic, he threw his arms out and let out a long battle yell. When that happened, a massive beam of yellow energy shot up into the sky. Everyone covered their eyes from the bright light. When the light finally faded, everyone gasped at what they were seeing.

Sonic's appearance had changed. His clothing had turned bright gold-yellow and white, his hair turned gold and pointed upward with a few specks still pointing down in front and sides, his muscles looked like they grew stronger, and his eyes had changed from emerald green to blood ruby red. Bright yellow aura surrounded him while blue electricity crackled around his body.

"Sweet Celestia," Twilight said in shock.

"Awesome…" Rainbow said amazed.

"My word," Rarity said with wide eyes.

"Incredible," Applejack said.

"Oh, my," Fluttershy said surprised.

"Sparkly," Pinkie said smiling big.

"GRR! You tricked me!" Eggman growled.

"Well, what can I say? Never underestimate your enemy," Sonic said.

"Sonic! Are you all right?" Rainbow asked.

"Yeah, not a scratch. And let me correct you, it's Super Sonic now!" Sonic said as he charged at the Egg Dragoon.

The Egg Dragoon spun its drill at Super Sonic, but he was then instantly gone. Eggman looked around for Sonic. Then he saw multiple gold blurs moving around the Egg Dragoon. It was Sonic. He spun around and around and he hit a glowing green core in the center of the Egg Dragoon. It took some real damage from that. Super Sonic then landed on his feet.

"WHOA! How did he do that?" Twilight asked shocked.

"He's so fast!" Rainbow said amazed.

Eggman growled as the Egg Dragoon swung its drill at Super Sonic again, but this time, all Sonic did was holding out his hand. He easily caught the giant drill with no problem. Everyone was in utter shock. They were all even more shocked when they saw Sonic easily lifting the Egg Dragoon into the air all by himself with just one hand.

"No way! How is he THAT strong?!" Applejack asked shocked.

Super Sonic threw the Egg Dragoon back away and it landed on its back. When it got up, Eggman growled more, "WHY YOU LITTLE-!"

"C'mon, baldy Mcnosehair! Surely, your new toy must be tougher than that!" Sonic mocked.

Everyone perked up at that nickname. Sonic and Eggman turned their heads to the students. They all stood there for a moment, until they all fell on the ground in utter laughter, laughing at the nickname Sonic just gave.

"Baldy Mcnosehair! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Classic!" Rainbow said laughing hard.

Eggman was starting to get ticked off. "ENOUGH! I WILL DESTROY YOU NOW!"

The Egg Dragoon then pointed the missile right at Sonic. Everyone gasped. Sonic prepared for the attack. But before Eggman could even launch it, something collided with the Egg Dragoon.

"ARGH! Who in the blazes did that?!" Eggman shouted.

Everyone turned and both Eggman and Sonic were surprised by what they saw. They saw the X-Tornado plane coming towards the Egg Dragoon.

"It's Tails and the others!" Sonic said.

"What!? How did they get here?!" Eggman asked shocked.

The X-Tornado fired lasers at the Egg Dragoon and caused damage to it. Tails was somehow still in his normal fox form. He looked over and saw Sonic as a human. He took out his TSP watch and used it to scan Sonic. From its calculations, it was correct; the human was Sonic.

"Yep, it's Sonic all right!" Tails said.

Tails flew the X-Tornado over the school and yelled as he waved his hand, "Hey, Sonic!"

"Tails! Down here!" Sonic signaled.

"Catch!" Tails said as he threw down a power ring towards Sonic.

Sonic caught and it glowed brightly. Eggman looked and saw what was about to happen, "Uh-oh…"

Sonic went into his spin dash and thrust at the Egg Dragoon. He managed to hit it in the side of the chest, leaving a hold go straight through.

"Pah! It's gonna take more than just that to destroy this creation!" Eggman said.

"Then it's a good thing he's not alone," a voice said from above him.

Eggman looked up and saw a really familiar red echidna diving right at him. "Oh, come on."

Knuckles raised his fist in the air, as he got closer. Then he threw his fist right onto the Egg Dragoon and went straight down through. Now Eggman was really ticked off. The Egg Dragoon raised its drill and swung it at Knuckles after he landed on the ground. But then Eggman realized that the drill wasn't moving. He looked and saw that the drill was surrounded by bright cyan aura. Then he looked down and saw a familiar silver hedgehog using his psycho powers to hold the drill still; Silver.

"NO, NO, NO!" Eggman yelled.

"Amy, now!" Silver yelled.

"What?!" Eggman yelled as he looked at who Silver was calling to.

He saw a familiar pink hedgehog swinging her hammer right at the Egg Dragoon's left leg and breaking it. The Egg Dragoon lost balance. "Wing units, deploy!" Eggman said.

The Egg Dragoon deployed wings from its back and was now flying. Silver quickly used his power to wreck the drill. Eggman growled more than ever as his face turned red in anger.

"THAT"S IT!" he yelled.

The Egg Dragoon pointed its cannon at Sonic and charged it up when…

"Chaos Spear!" someone said.

Bright yellow energy spears broke the cannon. Eggman turned and saw Shadow had arrived as well in his normal hedgehog form standing on the side of the roof of the school.

"AHHHH! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" Eggman screamed in anger.

"You're going down! That's what!" Sonic yelled.

Eggman turned to Super Sonic and saw he was charging up his spin dash attack. "Uh-oh…"

Super Sonic spin dashed at the Egg Dragoon. But then Eggman smiled as he pushed a button. The Egg Dragoon then disappeared and Super Sonic went flying straight towards the portal. He quickly stopped himself right before he could even go through. But he didn't know that his foot had touched the statue. While he went into the air looking for Eggman, the portal started glowing. No one saw that; they were too focused on watching the battle.

"Where'd you go, Egghead?" Sonic asked.

Sonic looked up and was hit right in the face. He fell to the ground and landed hard.

"Oh, no!" Rainbow yelled.

Sonic started to get up, but then he saw the Egg Dragoon put its other foot right on him. He couldn't move. Everyone was worried.

"I'll give you a chance, Sonic," Eggman said, "Give me the Chaos Emeralds and let me destroy you, and I promise I shall leave all of your new friends untouched. And it's a promise I won't break."

Sonic groaned, "Never."

"Very well, then," Eggman said, "So, no other last words? I'm disappointed."

The Egg Dragoon had another drill on its left arm and raised it. He was just about to swing it when…

"Hold it right there!" a voice said.

"Huh?! Who's there?! Show yourself!" Eggman ordered looking around.

"I'm up here," the voice said again.

Eggman turned his Egg Dragoon around and before he knew what was even about to happen, he was hit by a rainbow blur that dashed downward.

"What was that?!" Eggman yelled.

Then he and everyone else saw what hit the Egg Dragoon landing right in front of them. Everyone gasped with a shocked face. There, standing in front of them, was a cyan pony. It had rainbow hair and a tail, violet eyes, wings, and a mark of a cloud with a primary colored lightning bolt on its flank.

Everyone was now confused. The pony looked like Rainbow Dash. Twilight ran up to the pony. "Rainbow Dash?"

The pony turned its head to Twilight and looked at her confused, "Who are you supposed to be? Wait a minute; you look like somepony I know… Twilight? Is that you?" it asked sounding just like Rainbow Dash.

"Yes, Rainbow, its' me," Twilight said.

"Umm, Twilight?" Sonic said, "Who is that and why does it look and sound like Rainbow Dash?"

"Uh, everyone," Twilight said, "This is the Rainbow Dash of Equestria."

"There's a me in Equestria?" Rainbow asked, "That's awesome!"

"Heck, yeah!" pony Rainbow said.

"Um, Twilight?" Sonic said.

"Yeah?" Twilight asked.

"Do those look familiar to you too?" Sonic asked pointing at something.

Twilight looked at where Sonic was pointing and gasped. She saw seven other ponies. Four of them were the same size, two were a little taller, and one was the tallest. Each one of the looked just like Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie, Celestia, and Luna. The pony who looked like Rarity had a horn, the one who looked like Fluttershy had wings, and the ones who looked like Celestia and Luna had wings and a horn on their heads.

One of the ponies didn't look familiar. It had pink skin, purple eyes, gold shoes on her hoofs, yellow, pink and purple hair and tail, a horn on its head, wings with a shade of purple, and a symbol of a blue crystal heart and a yellow streak on it on its flank.

"What the heck is going on?!" Eggman asked shocked and confused.

"Girls?" Twilight said.

"Twilight?" pony Applejack asked.

"What happened to you?" pony Celestia asked.

"I for one think the more important question is, how did we get here?" pony Rarity asked.

"I think it was the Chaos Emeralds," Sonic said.

"I think you're right," Twilight said, "The energy from the emeralds must've caused an effect to the portal."

"Well, at least, it's good to know you're okay," the mysterious pink pony said.

"Cadence!" Twilight said.

Suddenly, the Egg Dragoon activated its drill while Eggman was extremely ticked off. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS RUBBISH! I'M GOING TO DESTROY YOU ALL NOW!"

The ponies Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie then suddenly had a gold necklace with a different looking crystal on them. Pony Rainbow's looked like a red lightning bolt, pony Rarity's looked a purple diamond, pony Fluttershy's looked like a pink butterfly, pony Applejack's looked like an orange apple with a green leaf on the top, and pony Pinkie's looked like a blue balloon.

Twilight quickly stepped in with her pony friends and used the magic from the crown, while the ponies used the same type of magic. They all formed a magic shield around the entire school right when the Egg Dragoon swung its drill. As soon as the drill hit the shield, it broke.

Eggman growled as soon as the shield disappeared. He then swung its arm at Sonic and it made contact. Sonic went flying right into the wall. The Chaos Emeralds appeared around and he turned back to normal. He was really out of energy.

Twilight and her friends all ran up to Sonic. Sonic's body has really scrapped up. He had many cuts and bruises all over his body while his clothes had rips.

Eggman laughed, "Finally, now I shall destroy you!"

Sonic really struggled to move, "Oh, man, that really took me down."

Twilight thought for a moment, then had an idea, "Sonic."

Sonic looked up and saw Twilight taking off her crown and putting it onto his head. "Try using this," Twilight said.

Twilight placed the crown on Sonic's head. Then the crown's crystal glowed and so did the other elements for her ponies friends. Then Sonic slowly rose into the air.

"What the…" Eggman said confused once more.

The Elements of Harmony then suddenly removed themselves from the ponies and flew around Sonic. Then they all flew towards him and locked themselves onto different areas of him. The Element of Honesty went onto Sonic's left ankle, the Kindness went onto his right ankle, the Laughter went onto his right wrist, the Generosity went onto his left wrist, and the Loyalty went around his neck while the crown was on his head.

Sonic was then suddenly surround by a rainbow aura, surprising everyone. When the light faded, everyone looked and gasped at what they were seeing. Sonic was wearing bright silver armor, the elements were on top of it, Sonic's hair pointed upward and glowed like a blue flame, his eyes glowed blue, and he had a bright silver sword made out of crystals in his right hand.

"All right, I have a new form!" Sonic said looking over himself.

"Amazing," Twilight said while all of her friends were amazed.

"Whoa…" Tails said as he looked down from the X-Tornado.

"WHAT IS THIS!?" Eggman asked shouting in utter shock.

Sonic raised his sword, "Time to say hi to my new form; Harmonic Sonic!"

Eggman was slack-jawed for a moment, until he just scoffed, "Harmonic? Pah, nonsense! You'll be black and blue once I'm finished with you!"

Then instantly, Harmonic Sonic disappeared and appeared right in front of the Egg Dragoon in the air. The Egg Dragoon raised its drill and swung it at Harmonic Sonic. When the drill was just inches away, all Harmonic Sonic did was raise his sword beside him. Right after the drill had swung, it went right past Harmonic Sonic. At first, Eggman thought he got Harmonic Sonic, but then he heard a weird sound. He turned his head and saw the drill had been cut and slid off of the Egg Dragoon's arm.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" Eggman shouted in utter shock and disbelief.

"The Elements have made Sonic unstoppable," Twilight said.

"It's almost like it's his destiny to harness all of the elements!" Spike said.

Eggman growled, "GRRR! Take a whip of this!"

The Egg Dragoon then deployed another cannon on its right arm and pointed it at Harmonic Sonic. Harmonic Sonic just held his left hand out in front of him. The cannon fired an orb and it hit Harmonic Sonic's hand. Harmonic Sonic didn't look like he was struggling at all. Then the energy orb started to somehow shrink. Eggman and everyone else were all in complete utter shock that they saw Harmonic Sonic absorbing the orb.

"THIS CAN"T BE HAPPENING!" Eggman yelled.

"Believe it," Harmonic Sonic said.

Harmonic Sonic formed an energy orb in his left hand and threw it at the Egg Dragoon. The Egg Dragoon flew about three hundred feet away. Harmonic Sonic then had an idea. He flew back down to the ground. Then he held his hand out, and the Chaos Emeralds flew in the air towards him. Then he looked at Twilight and his friends.

"Twilight, Rainbow, AJ, Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity, here. You each take an emerald," Harmonic Sonic said as he held out the emeralds.

"What? But you said they could do something that would make us lose control," Rarity said worried.

"Well, there's only one way to find out," Sonic said, "We have to do this."

"But, Sonic, are you sure about this?" Applejack asked.

"Girls…" Rainbow said, getting their attention, "We have to try. If what Sonic wants us to do is what'll stop Eggman, then we have to do this, because I trust him with my life."

Harmonic Sonic nodded as he gave Twilight the purple, Rainbow the cyan, Fluttershy the yellow, Applejack the green, Rarity the silver, and Pinkie the blue. He still had the red emerald and then placed on the top of the handle of his sword. Then the emeralds all started glowing. The emeralds in the girls' hands disappeared as each of them were surrounded by aura that was the color of each emerald.

"Eggman," Harmonic Sonic said as he turned his head to Eggman, "It's time you've learned your lesson, that good AND Friendship always drives over evil!"

"WHAT?!" Eggman shouted.

"Girls, now!" Harmonic Sonic said.

Twilight and her friends held out and took each other's arms forming a jumping pad. Harmonic Sonic then he jumped in the air doing a front flip and landing on the girls' arms. Then, together using the energy from the emeralds, the girls shoved their arms up, allowing Harmonic Sonic to jump high into the air.

"WAIT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Eggman shouted in fear.

When Harmonic Sonic was really high in the air, the energy of the Chaos Emeralds and the Elements of Harmony had allowed him to tap into the power of the stars that lid the sky. He then held his sword above him as it then suddenly glowed bright white. Then a bright rainbow aura appeared around him as he then started to charge towards the Egg Dragoon. As he did, he suddenly broke the sound barrier making a rainbow blur coming from behind him while a rainbow ring spread out through the sky.

"WHOA! What is that?" Flash asked.

"It's a Sonic Rainboom!" pony Rainbow said.

Then suddenly, it happened again, but this time, there were two rainbow rings spread out in the sky.

"A double Rainboom?" Twilight asked.

Then, it happened once more, and this time, there were three rainbow rings. They were so bright and colorful, the brightness had lid up the entire night sky while the colors reflected on everything on the ground. Everyone was shocked and amazed.

"A TRIPLE SONIC RAINBOOM!?" Twilight and all of her pony friends said in complete utter shock.

"My word, it's so beautiful," Rarity said with wide eyes.

"Holy cow!" Tails said as he looked from the X-Tornado.

"I think I'm in love," pony Rainbow mumbled as she stared at the Rainboom.

Harmonic Sonic charged closer and closer at the Egg Dragoon. He held his sword up and it charged up. Eggman was in utter fear.

"Chaos Harmonic Strike!" Harmonic Sonic said as he finally reached the Egg Dragoon and slashed his sword downward.

The beam of energy from the sword had spread out, it actually caused the entire Egg Dragoon to be sliced in half.

"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Eggman shouted.

The Egg Dragoon exploded into millions of pieces. Everyone cheered that Eggman was defeated. Then they all stopped when they saw Eggman flying towards them and landing on the ground on his back. He struggled to get up, but then he saw Knuckles, Amy, Silver, and Shadow standing right behind him. As he stood up, he tried to run away, but he was stopped right as he saw Harmonic Sonic slowing hovering down to the ground.

"How could have you defeated me only by using power from six puny girls?" Eggman asked.

Sonic smirked, "The Magic of Friendship."

Sonic heard the cheers of everyone cheering for his victory. He then heard the X-Tornado landing on the road in front of the school. Tails jumped out and ran over to Sonic who was still in his Harmonic form.

"Sonic? Is that really you?" he asked.

"It's me, bro," Sonic said as he turned back to his normal human form, "Still the same as before, just as a human."

Knuckles chuckled, "Well, it's a good thing to know you're still alive."

Suddenly, Sonic received a hug from someone from behind. He turned his head and saw Rainbow hugging him with tears of joy. "Sonic, don't you ever scare me like that again," she said.

Sonic chuckled, "Don't worry, Dashie. I'll be fine," he said as he returned the embrace.

It was then Sonic had passed out. Rainbow gasped as she helped him slowly lay down. Everyone ran towards Sonic.

"Is he all right?" Twilight asked.

"He's fine," Tails said, "He's just really exhausted. I guess that battle really made him tired."

Then everyone saw Sonic slowly opening his eyes and sitting up to see Rainbow looking at him. Sonic smiled, "I love you, Rainbow."

Rainbow smiled back, "I love you too."

Rainbow leaned her head towards Sonic's and brought her lips to his. She and Sonic shared a strong passionate kiss. Amy had wide eyes with tears. She couldn't believe the person who she cared about had feelings for someone else.

A few days later, Sonic had woken up from his long recovery. He looked around and saw he was in a room with surgical and medical tools. He looked to his left and saw his shirt and hoodie were hanging on a hanger right beside him. He also saw a clock and it said 3:15 PM. He then looked down and saw he had bandages on top of his cuts on his body.

"Hey, Sonic," a really familiar female voice said.

Sonic turned his head and saw Rainbow and his new friends except Twilight and the ponies. His friends from his world were also there.

"Hey, everyone," Sonic said, "How long was I out for?"

"About three days," Tails said, "But, oh, man, that fight was incredible. I never knew you had gained some much new power."

"Not just power," Sonic said, "Magic."

"Magic?" Tails asked, "But I thought it never existed."

"I know that it does now," Sonic said, "Anyways, where's Twilight and her friends?"

"They all went home," Flash said, "They had to hurry before the portal had closed."

"Sunset, how is she?" Sonic asked.

"She's fine," Rarity said, "We're helping her learn more about friendship."

"Eggman?" Sonic asked again.

"We've got him," Knuckles said, "He isn't going anywhere any time soon."

Rainbow looked at Sonic for a moment then back at her friends, "Could Sonic and I please have a moment?"

"Of course," Applejack said as she and the others left the medical room.

Sonic sat up while Rainbow sat down on the side of the bed. They looked deeply into each other's eyes.

Sonic was the first to break the silence. "Rainbow, I'm really sorry, I…" he started, but he stopped when Rainbow placed her fingers on his lips.

"It's all right, Sonic," Rainbow said, "I understand. You have to return home. I'll be all right. Besides, it's almost like a classic story. Girl meets boy, girl gets boy, and boy returns home and says goodbye to girl."

Sonic smiled while Rainbow then asked, "But will you every come back for me?"

"It may take time," Sonic said, "But I promise I will come back to see you. And you know, I have a feeling there will be a time where I would live here."

Rainbow smiled as she placed her right hand on Sonic's chest. She then leaned forward and gave Sonic a kiss on his lips.

"What was that for?" Sonic asked a little surprised.

"For saving everyone, and especially my life, from Eggman," Rainbow answered, "It was what proved it for you being a true hero. Thank you, Sonic."

Sonic smiled. He then gently pulled Rainbow into a soft kiss, which she returned. When they parted, Sonic got out of the bed and put on his shirt and hoodie.

Outside the room, everyone could here the conversation going on. They all smiled, except Amy. She was upset that Sonic was in love with someone else. Then a moment later, they saw Sonic and Rainbow coming out holding hands.

"So, are you ready to go home, Sonic?" Tails asked.

"Can we do that a little bit later?" Sonic asked while blushing, "I just want to stay a little longer… with Rainbow."

"Uh… sure. I don't see why not," Tails said.

Sonic smiled as he and Rainbow went walking. They went for a walk in town. They even walked by a park, and they decided to stop by a lake. It was about 7:30, and the sun was about to set.

Sonic and Rainbow sat down on a bench. Rainbow was the first to speak, "I'm going to miss you, Sonic."

"I'm going to miss you, too, Dashie," Sonic said, "I'll miss all of my friends here. But remember, I'll always love you."

Rainbow smiled, "I will."

Sonic then noticed that in a field of flowers, small lights were slowing moving in the air. They were fireflies. Sonic stood up and took Rainbow's hand. Rainbow was sure what Sonic was doing, but followed. When Sonic took Rainbow into the flowers, the fireflies began to fly around them. Sonic and Rainbow looked at them.

Sonic then raised Rainbow's hand a little in the air and wrapped his other arm around her waist. Rainbow blushed a little, but then she smiled as she wrapped her arm around Sonic's neck.

Sonic and Rainbow slowly swayed in a little dance. They had their eyes locked together while they smiled and blushed. This felt like the most special moment in their lives. They felt peace and love in the air.

Sonic and Rainbow smiled at one another. "I love you, Sonic the Hedgehog." Rainbow said.

"I love you too, Rainbow Dash," Sonic said.

Sonic and Rainbow embraced each other and gave each other the most romantic, strongest, and most passionate kiss they had ever shared. Then they felt something around them. They looked and saw that they were forming their ears, tails, and wings as their glowed from their magic. They smiled at each other and continued in their kiss. As they did, they felt their feet not touching the ground as they began to slowly hover into the air. They slowly spun around as they did and the fireflies slowly flew around them.

Soon, many small birds, bunnies, rabbits, and squirrels all began to gather around and watch the beautiful romance. When Sonic and Rainbow finally parted from the kiss, they slowly began to go back onto the ground and their wings, ears, and tails turned back to normal.

Sonic and Rainbow smiled at each other. Sonic then looked at the sunset, and the sky had the colors of a beautiful rainbow around it. The animals then began together to make music. It sounded beautiful. Sonic and Rainbow smiled at them. Sonic began to sing.

With that, Sonic waved goodbye to his friends and jumped into the portal with his Mobian friends and Eggman who was tied up. The girls stood as they watched the portal close.

"Goodbye, Sonic," Rainbow said, "I'll miss you. We'll all miss you."

When Sonic and his friends were back on Mobius, Sonic was back in his hedgehog form. He sighed in relief.

"Man, it's great to be home," Sonic said as he looked over his surroundings, "Although I am going to miss Rainbow."

"It's all right, Sonic," Tails said, "I'm sure you'll see her again. I promise, whenever I have spare time, I'll work on a way to return to Canterlot High, although you do hate school."

"Well, ever since the day I arrived there, things inside me had been changing. I've actually been starting to like school," Sonic said.

"Really?" Tails asked, "Well, I think I would like to hear your story about this.

"Yeah, sure, and I don't think you want to know how much attention I got," Sonic said.

"What?" Tails asked.

"Never mind," Sonic said.

"Anyways, in the meantime…" Amy said.

Sonic turned and saw Amy looking angry and holding her hammer. He knew what was about to happen, "Uh-oh…"

"Sonic and I are going to have a little conversation," Amy finished growling.

Sonic chuckled nervously, "Hehe, I, uh, I gotta go! See ya!" he said as he ran away.

"SONIC! YOU COME BACK HERE RIGHT NOW! SOOONNIIIIIIIIIIIICCC!" Amy screamed as she ran after Sonic in anger.

Knuckles and Tails couldn't help but chuckle. "Oh, man I knew this was gonna happen someday," Knuckles said.

"Yeah, me too," Tails said, "Hey, do you think you would like to try out school?"

"Yunno, that has actually come to my mind," Knuckles said, "I think it would be interesting."

Then Tails and Knuckles saw in the distance Sonic was dodging Amy's hammer while Amy was really angry.

"Amy really needs to learn how to grow up," Knuckles said.

"Don't worry about it," Tails said, "I'm sure she'll learn."

3 days earlier, Canterlot High, the night of the Fall Formal…

Behind the school, while Sonic was fighting Eggman, there was a bright blue flashing in the middle of the playing field, and then a bright cerulean blue vortex opened up. Two figures fell out of it. When they hit the ground, the vortex disappeared.

The two figures were teenage boys. One of them had macaroon tan skin, bright sapphire blue hair with diamond red highlights, and cerulean blue eyes. He was wearing an unzipped navy blue short sleeve hoodie with light blue lightning detail. Under the hoodie was a stone grey shirt with the symbol of a sky blue ring and lightning bolt on the chest. His lower half contained azure blue sweatpants with pure white streaks, and he had parkour gold shoes with ruby red and cloud white streaks and detail on his feet. For accessories, he had lapis blue speed glasses in his hair, a denim blue bandana around his neck, white fingerless gloves with teal blue and gold yellow sports tape, and a ruby red wristband on each wrist.

The other boy had pure white skin, pure black hair and sky blue eyes. He was wearing a ghost white overcoat with a hood, and a stone grey shirt with what looked like black discs. His pants were ghost white sweatpants, and his shoes were high-tech looking. For accessories, he had what looked like a mask under his hood, and black fingerless gloves with dials on them.

The blue-and-red-haired boy got up and looked around. Then the black-haired boy stood up as well and looked. This place seemed completely new to them.

"Specter?" the blue-and-red-haired boy asked the black-haired.

"Strike?" the black-haired asked the blue-and-red-haired back.

"…Where the heck are we?" Strike asked.
