Chapter 1: Preface

Please remember this is my first time writing fanfiction

so please go easy on me

and this chapter is just a preface so it is short I will make a longer second chapter

Now onto the story

Twilights (POV)

''Twilight come quick you've got a letter!'' Spike shouted waking me up pretty easily

I clumsily rolled out of bed and said ''What Spike do you have any idea what time it is?'' my voice apparently still heavy with sleep

'' Twilight its eleven in the morning'' Spike said in an exasperated tone

I groaned '' Just show me the letter''

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

Please come to Canterlot immediately

bring your friends over their is no time to explain

Princess Celestia

Chapter 2: The birth of Princess Wishstar

Just to verify the last chapter was the preface so it was supposed to be short I promise that this one will be longer

Now on with the story

3rd person (POV)

Twilight and her friends arrived in Canterlot in a magenta flash in front of Princess Celestia and Princess Cadence.

"Must you always be so dramatic?" Princess Celestia asked.

"It was not my idea it was Rainbow Dash's idea?" Twilight said desperately trying to sound exasperated but failed in the end.

"Hey it was not my idea" Rainbow Dash said annoyed.

"Where is Princess Luna?" Twilight said effectively changing the subject.

Rainbow Dash shot Twilight a glare that said this isn't over.

" She is in the royal infirmary giving birth to her foal" Princess Celestia said calmly.

Upon hearing this Twilight's eye's bugged out you would think her eye's would pop out of its sockets.

"Now I have to check on my sister Twilight please stay here" Princess Celestia said calmly.

Princess Celestia's (POV)

The truth is I am panicking I promised my sister I would stay strong for everypony.

now that I reached her room in the royal infirmary I slowly open the door and Nurse Ivy was desperately trying to calm my sister down with her magic.

It was no use she was still convulsing and writhing into agonizing contortions.

Then she screamed in agony until a piercing shrill cry was heard over her screams of agony.

"Congratulations Princess its a filly" Nurse Ivy said cheerfully levitating the little filly with her magic over into the cradle placed in the room

Then when the crying stopped and before Luna passes out from exhaustion she asks me to name the little filly Wishstar

Then while my sister is passed out with closer inspection at the filly by levitating her with my magic I noticed instead of normal alicorn wings she had bat wings.

"How strange" I thought to myself.

Then I put her back down gently in the cradle and quietly exit the room.

Twilights (POV)

My eye's were still as wide as dinner plates by the time Princess Celestia got back.

Once I managed to pull myself together I asked "How is Princess Luna?"

"She is resting" Princess Celestia replied sounding relieved probably because watching Princess Luna suffer like that and how Celestia was not able to intervene it must have been agonizing.

Before I can say anything else Nurse Ivy comes over and says Princess Luna is awake.

We then follow Princess Celestia's lead to Princess Luna's room and seeing the baby we were in for quite the shock.

3rd person (POV)

Princess Celestia , Princess Cadence , and the Elements of Harmony all filed in a neat orderly line to Princess Luna's room in the royal infirmary.

Once they reached the room Princess Celestia opened the door with her magic went inside the room with the other's in tow.

Once they entered the room they saw Princess Luna had one wing folded protectively over a bundle of something.

It turned out the bundle was the baby.

When Princess Luna decided to unfold her wing and the sleeping filly woke up and her wings opened up.

Before Twilight could react Rarity of all ponies said "The baby is a baticorn?!".

Twilight was dumbfounded how did Rarity know that term that term was top secret only the royal family knew that information. That information was kept in the most guarded wing in the Canterlot archives. But then a bell went off in her head "Blueblood" she hissed under her breath very well aware of Rarity's ex- coltfriend.

Authors note:

Yes I know Nurse Ivy wasn't very creative for those of you that didn't get it Ivy as in IV I know not that creative.

Yes I know a baticorn is not a thing in the show for those of you who haven't figured out what a baticorn is it is an alicorn with bat wings

Authors note: This is where we get into the quesadilla's... This could get weird

*sigh* I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE this story is horrible and I don't even have time to update because of school and face it chapter

2 was horrible.I'm just going to delete this story and rewrite it later. Sorry I wasted your time with this rant pleasegive me some suggestions on how to do the rewrite better. Chapter 3 is a weird glitch ignore it
