(How Twilight Sparkle met Sunset Shimmer (Friendship is Magic pt 1(Gaia Prime)

After Rainbow dash flew off elsewhere, Twilight and Spike went over spotted the town hall ''Groan, Finally, the town hall at last, come on spike lets get over there before...'' But as Twilight almost said something else while she and Spike walked towards the town hall, they were both startled and interupted by a loud booming voice.

''MORTALS! WHAT IN EQUESTRIA DO YOU THINK YOU TWO ARE DOING?!'' the voice bellowed as Twilight and Spike clung to each other in terror.

''We...um...We were just checking on the decorations in the...the...the...'' Spike stammered in panic which only made the voice more frightning when it bellowed a second time. ''SO! YOU'VE COME TO DEFEAT OUR PRINCESS AND TAKE CONTROL OF OUR LANDS HAVE YOU?! WELL JUST YOU WAIT UNTIL I BRING FORTH MY GREAT AND TERRIBLE POWER AND THEN YOU'LL BOTH BE SORRY.'' Just then Spike noticed a certain mare hiding behind a tree which was located beside the town hall and then came to realization.

As soon as he pointed to Twilight she said ''Hey! You there, I know that voice is a fake now, COME OUT HERE OR ELSE I'LL GET THE GUARDS!'' when the mare heard Twilight she came out and then cowerd a little bit and looked a bit unsure after what she had pulled on Twilight and Spike who looked at her awkardly (well mostly spike). However Twilight trotted up to the mare behind the tree and spoke in a very firm and harsh voice. ''How dare you scare us like that, you ought to be ashamed of yourself!'' Then Twilight glared at the mare whilst the she looked unsure about what she was doing and the two of them acted like that for about a few minutes until the Mare came out from her hiding place and into the sunlight.

The mare revealed herself to be a gold coloured unicorn with teal coloured eyes, a red and yellow mane and tail which looked like a fiery star, she also had a cutie mark which was a red and light yellow sun with normal yellow and red in a circle in the middle.

The mare then smiled after she was up close to Twilight (she had an Idea) and then pointed to her forehooves and brought her right hoof at the same time which caused twilight to look down and also forced her head to tilt upwards because of the fiery mare as she said ''You must be new around ponyville, If you are wondering then yes, sometimes play pranks on ponies whenever I feel like it. Sometimes I am unsure of doing these sorts of pranks, but mostly I do it to villianous figures.''

''Then why you scared me and do that to me and Spike?'' Twilight asked very irritably ''I did that because I wanted to make sure that ruffians or any creatures alike will get scared off, so it's a good thing that I'm around otherwise those creatures could mess up everything while we prepare for the summer sun celebration this season.'' The mare explained in a very calm voice while Twilight calmed down a little.

''Hmm, well I guess that's amazing in my opinion. Do you also happen to be one of the ponies that we're surpose to meet by chance?'' Twilight answered. ''I am as a matter of fact.'' the mare answered in a very heartful voice ''If you're also interested, I kind of want to be a member of the guards so that I can guard ponyville from dangerous creatures.''

''Well I guess that does sound like a good thing for ponyville.'' Twilight answered very surprisingly ''Ok then, keep up the good work.'' Then the mare whom Twilight had been talking to answered in a polite way ''I will. I also can't wait to get to know you more, err... was it Twilight Sparkle?...Oh if you're wondering what my name is...It's Sunset Shimmer.''

And with a politly waving hoof shaking from her, Sunset Shimmer trotted off towards ponyville's town center while Twilight and Spike went to the town hall to check on the decorations.

''Hmm, what a nice mare herself'' Twilight thought to herself with pleasent thoughts. ''I know I have a lot to do, but when I get my task done, I'll want to see more of that mare. Besides, I somewhat recognise her in canterlot before she moved to this town. In fact, I think that we'd be such good friends.''

Twilight then kept those nice thoughts in her head and the headed into the town hall itself to check up on the decorations.
