Anon-A-Miss: Payback

Chapter 1: 1. Chapter 1: Prologue: Payback

Load Full Story Next Chapter

Hi, everyone, MarcellusMiro66 here! This is yet another replacing of both The Pursuit of Vengeance (formerly named Thunderball) and The Hills – both of which are inspired by Dainn's Anon-a-Miss. This new story continues that trend...but with a twist.

After escaping from the abandoned factory, Sunset considers giving up proving her innocence and begins to plot her revenge on the school who had found her guilty; Flash Sentry begins to plot his revenge on the people who beat her up. At the same time, a student of Crystal Prep Academy named Logan Lazuli begins to plot his revenge against the school who had blackmailed him while his mentor Abacus Cinch begins to plan her revenge against the school who had won in the Friendship Games. All the while, Principal Celestia is beginning to suspect a hectic scramble and begins to discover the truth. It's a tale of crime, loyalty, and revenge – bloody revenge.

"You screwed with the wrong school, you little freak..."

"We don't need Twilight to save the day... We're gonna be the heroes this time..."

"Hope you had fun missing with us... Now it's our turn..."

Those three sentences burned into Sunset Shimmer's naked mind as the hot water burned into her naked body. The shower didn't do anything in the slightest to sooth the pain that engulfed her in the past hours, but it gave her the benefit of the doubt. Bruises, lacerations, and scratches aside, she never felt better. To her own surprise, the beating she received from Gilda wasn't painful, but instead the complete opposite; it was rather painless in comparison to what she expected.

Rinsing and ridding herself of the filth she obtained during said past hours, Sunset exited the shower – not bothering to cover herself up – and dried herself with a towel. After doing so, she locked her doors and windows and closed the blinds of said windows, sitting on her bed with no clothes to wear. She didn't care. She was far too angry to care. She needed this. She needed to plan her next move. After he and Snails stole and wrecked Gilda's car, Snips had informed Sunset that Rainbow Dash – one of her (now) former friends – had informed everybody of her place of residence. If so, she wasn't exactly safe anymore. It would be subjected to attacks, both lethal and nonlethal. She had to leave... Come back, she didn't know. All she knew was that she needed to leave.

It was during the pondering process of hers when Sunset noticed underneath the pillow a moderate sized box. Her curiosity getting the best of her, she pulled it out from its hiding spot and opened it up, revealing a full set of full black clothing: a leather biker jacket, a long sleeve collared shirt, a jet-black T-shirt, a pair of skinny jeans, a pair of ankle-length combat boots, and a pair of bulletproof vests. Sunset was indeed curious about the choice of clothing and decided to try them on. To her own surprise once again, they all fit her perfectly. Well, that was taken care of.

What wasn't taken care of was her new place to reside until further notice.

(6:00PM)

"Avenge me... Avenge me... AVENGE ME!"

"NO!"

Logan Lazuli smashed the mirror inside his former classmate's library, heavily panting after doing so. He cursed to himself for allowing that cursed nightmare to creep up back into his mind. Gazing emptily into the shattered shards of glass, stepping stones as he did so, the door opened and the person who opened it didn't seem surprised to say the very least. She sighed softly and gently spoke with ease,

"Mister Lazuli... Another nightmare, I suppose?"

Logan sighed softly and spoke with ease as well, not bothering to turn around to face the person he was conversing with,

"You suppose correctly... For now, at least."

"For now?"

"It wasn't a nightmare, but a vision... A vision of someone who knew me..."

"But you never knew that someone?"

"Exactly. It's been a long day. I don't know if it's paranoia or just plain insanity. If one thing's for sure... It's that I need a break."

"I couldn't agree more, Mister Lazuli. You've done all you could do for this school; you deserve it."

"Thank you, ma'am."

With that, Logan exited the library with the intention of heading home, leaving his conversationalist in his wake. Standing in the center of it all, Abacus Cinch sighed softly once again and readjusted her glasses. Speaking of which, she began to clean up the mess that was once the mirror of her former prized pupil, Twilight Sparkle. This job was destroying her, slowly and carefully, a fact that she was fully aware of; Crystal Prep Academy's popularity and reputation had diminished very swiftly following the events of the Friendship Games a few months ago. There was no such thing as magic...

Or was there such?

(7:00PM)

One excruciating hour later, Logan had wore down his dress code of a reddish-purple blazer, a sky blue long sleeve collared shirt, a dark blue tie with equally colored slacks, and black dress shoes. He emerged from the bathroom – a towel wrapped around his waist – and dried himself up, from his two tones of moderate sapphire blue hair to his light bluish grey skin. After doing so, he donned his jet black slik robe and went straight for his laptop, checking out the latest news on social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and... MyStable? Hmm. He had never seen or heard this one before – not just because of his unawareness of said one, but also its current encrypted nature. After a few hacking and tinkering around, however, he was granted access to the website he was earlier denied access to.

Logan was somewhat beginning reconsider his decision... If he had considered a decision to begin with. The first thing he saw was a picture... A rather horrifying and nauseating picture. The horrifying and nauseating part was the person who was in the picture; it was a teenage girl just around his age. A very familiar girl, to be exact. Her eyes were moderate cyan, her skin was light amber, and her hair was vivid crimson with brilliant yellow stripes. The rest of her was stained with very visible uncomfortableness to say the very least.

Who is this girl?

Why is this girl familiar?

Where did she go...?

"Canterlot High..." Logan was crystal clearly agitated.

Of course, their dreaded high school nemesis who "cheated" their way to "victory" – the apostrophe marks aren't invisible, right? Despite this relative fact, Canterlot High and Crystal Prep were both declared the winners of Friendship Games a few months prior. While this visibly pleased the former school, this visibly upset the latter school, and he understood. Best for their prestigious position in the line of top academies, Crystal Prep had ranked first for 25 years straight. Never before had it been dethroned of its throne... Until the Friendship Games.

Now, yet another incident, this time involving accusing, beating, and cyber bullying? This was a new low for instance incidents. Canterlot High had to know its place in regards to Crystal Prep.

The principal, Abacus Cinch, couldn't agree more.

(8:00PM)

Abacus Cinch had tore off her dark blue blazer and even darker blue skirt, exchanging it for a jet black blazer and even jet blacker skirt; she had kept her reddish-purple glasses, blue long sleeve collared shirt, reddish-purple stockings, black dress shoes, and red-and-gold medal. She dug out the following two items out of her drawer: a pair of black leather gloves and a SIG-Sauer P250 Compact with a protruding barrel and six extra magazines. She then loaded the empty gun with the sixth clip,

"It's time to fight fire...with fire."

(Payback - Juicy J, Kevin Gates, Future, and Sage The Gemini)

[Intro/Hook:]

[2x:]

I know something you don't

That's me coming for you

You want war

We got war

We just wanna warn you

Utilizing her father's old black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, Sunset drove to her family's old cabin, which was still standing after all these years. There was nothing much inside, except her mother's armoire, which was exactly what she was looking for. Two firearms were contained within the armoire – a Remington 870 Police Magnum Riot Shotgun and a Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine. Both of which came with ten separate boxes of ammunition. Loading each firearm, she aimed and checked the sights: first the Winchester and then the Remington.

[Verse 1 - Juicy J:]

War for war, bodies that hit the ground

You ready for us, cause it's about to go down

Push 'em to the left, push 'em to the right

Load them choppers up, hit 'em on sight

Never turning back, I've done been in hell and back

Me running out of guns? Nah, never heard of that

I ain't never ran from a gunfight

This is you and me, Mano Y Mano

You're damn right

Around the same duration, Flash Sentry donned his signature leather jacket with a long sleeved variant of his signature T-shirt, both of which complemented his navy blue jeans and black high-top sneakers. Permission granted courtesy of his police detective uncle (who was out of the city until further notice), he made his way to the police armory and filled his black duffel bag with numerous firearms, including a M4A1 Carbine SOPMOD, a Mossberg 500 Cruiser, a Glock 17, a Glock 19, a Colt Commander, a Custom Colt MK IV Series 80, a SIG-Sauer P226R, and a M79 Launcher, checking and aiming each and every one of them.

[Chorus - Sage The Gemini:]

Don't act like you don't know

Know what I came for

Too late to turn back

This is the payback

You take one, I take one

You can't hide, you can't run

Too late to turn back

This is the payback

Logan fashioned a brown leather jacket, a lapis blue button-down long sleeved collared shirt, a plain white T-shirt, a pair of dark denim blue jeans, and a pair of brown flat-bottomed boots. Giving his affinity with shotguns, it only takes one guess to figure out the genre of weapons he was prepping. Loading the three shotguns – a Remington 870 Entry Gun, a Mossberg 500 Mariner, and a Mossberg 590 Cruiser with a pistol grip stock, a spare shell holder, and a Surefire weaponlight – he headed downstairs to his black 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT351, its supercharger protruding from the front. He then sped off into the night to places unknown, probably to get a good start on things.

[Verse 2 - Kevin Gates:]

Respiratory begging in relief, I don't let 'em breathe

Going hard I'm my own boss, many ain't believe it

A feeling, not an item, appearing up out of thin air

Conquer everything that's in front of me, now they under me

Rush to lead and respond, they strayed away how a tunnel be

Took a leap of faith bungee cord about to give out

Nowadays, whatever you say, you gotta live out

Altitude have a parachute failure we got a problem

Grow a set of wings or die when you hit the bottom

Never prayed to God, but never too late to try Him

Shots fired, Allen Iverson in the league

They say I ball hog and I'm not a part of the team

Breadwinner with these winners, built the regime

Taliban weapon in hand, kill everything

Amphetamines alter the state of a better means

I'm beautiful but known for the dope like Medellin

[Chorus - Sage The Gemini:]

[2x:]

Don't act like you don't know

Know what I came for

Too late to turn back

This is the payback

You take one, I take one

You can't hide, you can't run

Too late to turn back

This is the payback

Miss Cinch and Principal Celestia both exited their respective schools, each carrying their respective firearms – the former with her SIG-Sauer P250 Compact, the latter with her Glock 17. The latter ( who was dressed in jet black like the former) especially knew something big was going down, so she pack the appropriate heat. As the principal of a high school, however, Celestia had never handled – let alone fired – such a dangerous weapon before. Now would be the appropriate time to learn that lesson before the test.

[Verse 3 - Future:]

Dressing all black like a funeral

Murder, homicide wanna ride get residuals

Living on fire for residuals

365 when I grind for residuals

45 magnum in the van with 'em

Ratta-tatta-tat, I let the blam hit 'em

I scream 'Fuck the whole world' and put a bomb in it

Finger on the trigger, tryna put my whole arm in it

I just want revenge, I just want revenge

We get it poppin' everyday

They took away my happiness, they try to take my head away

You walk at night, you walk at Glam

I'm bound to cause some problems with it

Sunset, Flash, Logan, Abacus, and Celestia were all getting ready for the battle... The battle of the titans.

[Chorus - Sage The Gemini:]

[2x:]

Don't act like you don't know

Know what I came for

Too late to turn back

This is the payback

You take one, I take one

You can't hide, you can't run

Too late to turn back

This is the payback...

This holiday season, their only Christmas present...was their payback.
