Author's Note

Hello everybody! My name is SuperCyclone. But you can call me SC for short. So, this is going to be my first MLP fanfic ever! Hopefully I don't screw it up and you guys might give it a chance. I'm new to this so please don't criticize. Unless it has something to do with names or something.

So basically, this story is about my OC: Hybrid. In my world he is the King of Chaos. And I thought it would be rather interesting if I put him here. This story is going to be really long! It is actually going to be inspired from one of my favorite shows: Ninjago. Not a crossover. I said inspiration.

Hybrid will be the main villain here. So will Discord. But, you may ask.

"But Discord is reformed!"

Well, if you keep on reading you will find out a lot of secrets here! LOTS OF SECRETS!

In this story, we will find out that Discord was not the only one imprisoned. Let's say there was a conflict between Hybrid, Celestia, and Luna.

Things Change

Normal POV

Everything in Ponyville was wonderful! Everypony slept nice and warm in their houses. The night's sun, moon, shone across the land like a warm blanket. Everything was perfect. Peaceful. But as we all know, where there is peace there must evil lurking.

Celestia was fast asleep. She turned and turned back in her sleep. She was having a nightmare of some kind.

In Celestia's Dream...

She opened her eyes to find herself in Ponyville!

"Hello?"

She called out but the place seemed empty. She walked around and noticed that the places were boarded up.

"Alright, this is strange."

All of the sudden, the wind started to blow a cold breeze. It made her shiver. She then heard something she wished not to hear.

"Hahahahahaha!"

"I know that laugh. Show yourself demon!"

Just on cue, a red Crystal appeared in the sky. Out of the Crystal came a silhouette of a dog. He had white pupils with black covering it. He was a dark shade of night and his ears pointed up. He had a creepy smile with fangs white as snow. He then appeared a few feet in front her and smiled.

"Oh boy! Celestia! It's been so long since our last encounter aye?"

"Quite, Hybrid! What do you want with us?!"

"Oh you know. Trying to take over your place as ruler. Also destroying it. The usual."

"You will never- wait! How did you get here in the first place?!"

Hybrid then appeared next to her hugging her and putting his paw under her chin.

"Don't play dumb with me, girl. You knew I'd be back!"

"Yes, but-"

"I'm a demon that can go to everypony's minds. Remember?"

"But, why visit now?"

"Well, I was hoping you would let me borrow the book."

Celestia then pushed him off of her.

"Do you really think I'd just give it to you?! You will never get it!"

Hybrid chuckled.

"Don't worry. You really don't have a choice.

He then snapped his fingers which caused an image of a book to appear.

"You'll slip up, and when you do."

He then threw the book to the floor. Causing it all to be on fire. Celestia had had enough!

"Get out of here! You have no dominion in our world!"

Maybe not right now. But things change, Tia. Things Change! Hahahahahahaa!"

At the last part Hybrid's voice got deep and demonic, he then flew up and snapped his fingers."

"Rise and shine!"

Celestia then woke up panting. She looked around to see that it was morning now. She sighed in relief. She knew what she had to do.

"I feared this day would come! It's time!"

Episode 1: A New Adventure

Normal POV

Ponyville was crowded with ponies everywhere! Why you may ask. Because of a busy market going on! Everypony was rushing everywhere to get whatever the market was selling.

Meanwhile, the mane six were talking about the day so far.

"So, how is everponies day so far?" Asked Twilight Sparkle.

"Great!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed,"I've been selling cakes by the minute!"

Rainbow Dash then noticed something,"Hey, has anypony seen Discord? It's been awhile."

They all nodded and shrugged.

Meanwhile, Celestia was discussing something with Discord.

"I'm telling you! Hybrid has returned to try and take over Equastria!"

Discord snapped and a chair appeared behind him. He sat down and snapped again causing Celestia to sit on a chair. A table appeared in front of them having tea.

"Tea?" Asked Discord.

"Look, this is no time to make jokes! Equastria is in trouble! Quite possibly the world!"

"I understand. But, isn't possible you dreamed all of this up. I mean no offense but you work to hard."

"No, he really spoke to me! He seems to be getting powerful."

"But he's locked away remember?"

Discord was about to drink his cup of tea when Celestia knocked it out of his paw.

"Hey! That tea was very expensive!"

"Look! This involves you too! Don't you remember the prophecy?! It said that one day the dark lord will rise again! And I'm not going to let that happen!"

"I understand, but, how do we stop him? He's so powerful even I can't go up against him!"

"Which is why you need to help me?"

Discord rubbed his chin.

"Alright. But, you have to promise that we have tea together some other time."

Celestia smiled,"I promise."

Fluttershy noticed that a figure was walking towards them.

"It is I! SC! I want to have everponies attention!"

Rainbow Dash put a hoove on her face.

"Great, it's the traveler known as SC!"

You see, SC was a black furred dog with purple eyes. He occasionally visited Equastria to announce something. He always said that something terrible was going to happen. Everypony would laugh and walk away.

"You all have to get out of here! A great evil is coming! The Forbidden Animal Tribes want revenge! Make peace or get out and save yourselves!"

All the ponies laughed and started to throw apples at him. SC tried to dodge, but an apple hit his head. Applejack laughed.

"Now that's a good use of apples!"

Rainbow Dash scoffed,"He's going to have to use more than bedtime stories to scare people."

"The Forbidden Animal Tribes are real, Dash." Said Twilight. "They are not something to joke about."

Dash rolled her eyes.

"Oh please! We're talking about the ancient animals who once ruled and lived in Equastria."

Pinkie Pie then added fearfully,"Sealed in three different tombs to stop the warring tribes. And to prevent them from unifying to exact their revenge on those who put them there!"

Dash didn't buy it.

"Don't you ever find it suspicious that no one has ever found one of the tombs?"

"That's because you'd be a fool to look for one!" Added Rarity. "If there was more than I hated then ruined dresses, it was them."

Dash then looked back at the black furred dog.

"Well, forbidden animal or not, I'm ending this."

Dash then flew up and grabbed SC.

"Hey!" He shouted. "Put me down!"

Dash then chuckled.

"As you wish."

She then dropped him on a wagon of apples. Everypony started to laugh and pointed at him.

Fluttershy then walked up to him and helped the dog up.

"Are you okay?"

SC then pushed her.

"Don't touch me!"

He walked away with anger.

Celestia was worried. She felt afraid of her friends. What would she do if Hybrid was released? She sighed and walked to her room.

SC walked along the forest kicking a rock.

"Those stupid ponies! How dare they make a fool of me!"

He kicked the rock a little harder.

"I'll get my revenge on those Mane Six!"

He then kicked the rock harder until it flew straight to the bushes. He then heard a metal sound and ran towards it. He then found something incredible. He found a tomb! He looked to see a lever and opened it.

The ground started to shake and he fell into the tomb. He got up and looked around. It was so ancient!

"You are far from home little one."

SC turned around to see a donkey with sharp fangs, a crown, and a staff walking towards him. SC started to back up against a wall.

"Why have you released us?!"

"I-I-I didn't mean to. I was just coming back from Ponyville and-"

"Ponyville hmm? Those land dwellers locked me here!"

SC then smiled.

"Really? I'm guessing you hate them as much as I do?"

"I see what you're thinking boy. And I like it! How about we team up to defeat those ponies. I see you have a little beef with them."

"Yes! I would like to see them pay!"

"Well then, what shall you have us do?"

"Us?"

On cue, a bunch of donkeys, bulls, and cows with fangs walked out of the shadows.

SC smiled.

"A whole army of animals! Hahahahaha!"

Meanwhile, The Mane Six, and Spike, we're talking to each other in Celestia's Castle and laughing. They were talking about how SC fell in the wagon of apples.

Celestia, however, was asleep again. In her dream she saw a black furred dog with an army of donkeys, cows, and bulls attacking Ponyville! She woke up and rushed to were the Mane Six were. She opened the doors and panted.

"The Forbidden Tribe! They've returned. Ponyville is in trouble!"

Dash raised an eyebrow.

"Relax, we were just there. It was some traveler who-"

"I do not lie! An ancient evil has been released! I want you all to go over there and stop it!"

They all looked at each other and nodded. They then rushed to Ponyville.

SC was laughing while he ate some cupcakes from Pinki Pie's shop.

"I'm never coming down from this sugar rush! Whoooo!"

He then looked in fromt of him to see The Mane Six with angry looks. Pinkie Pie was the most upset.

Twilight looked at him and smirked.

"Sorry to burst you bubble apples but you're coming with us!"

SC smirked.

"Get them!"

A donkey then walked beside SC wearing a crown.

Dash gasped.

"The Forbidden Animal Tribe?! They're real?!"

"How do you like them apples?!" SC exclaimed.

Twilight then shot her magic towards the donkey causing him to hit the floor.

SC then looked back at the Mane Six. The other animals looked to see that their leader was getting up.

"Retreat!"

SC ran another direction while the other animals ran the other way.

The Mane Six then celebrated. The other ponies came to thank them.

Celestia then appeared next to them smiling.

"Thank you all! If it wasn't for you Ponyville wouldn't be here. But, I'm afraid that there is a threat now."

Dash then walked up and smiled.

"Then we'll be ready for it!"

They all then celebrated.

Meanwhile, SC was looking far off in the distance sighing. He walked away and headed to find another tomb. He had stolen a map from the Donkey tribe's cave. He smirked.

"This isn't the last of me Mane Six! Especially you, Rainbow Dash!"

He then walked away.

Episode 2: He Watches

Normal POV

The Mane Six were at Celestia's castle. She was going to tell them something important.

"Now, I want to tell you all something. It's important. It has to do with what's been going on lately."

Dash nodded.

"Alright, what's so important that you called us here?"

Celestia threw a scroll towards them and Twilight opened it.

"What is it?" Asked Dash.

"It's a scroll." Said Twilight.

"I know it's a scroll! I mean what does it say?"

Twilight began to read.

"It says,'One pony will rise above the others and become The Golden Mane. Destined to defeat The Dark Lord.'"

Pinkie Pie then noticed something.

"Hey! Are those drawings of us?!"

Fluttershy then looked at everybody.

"Is anybody else thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Like how good I'm going to look in gold." Said Dash in a proud way.

Rarity then interuptted.

"Isn't it obvious I'm the Golden Mane? I mean the color fits me."

Pinkie then exclaimed.

"Absolutely not! The color fits me better!"

Twilight scoffed.

"You're all delusional! It's clearly me!"

They all then started to argue while Celestia nodded her head.

"Enough!"

Everpony looked at her.

"None of you will become the Golden Mane unless you unlock your true potential."

Fluttershy was confused.

"What do you mean true potential?"

"If each of you know what you're missing or figure out your past, you will unlock it. When a pony does, they then gain unspeakable powers!"

"Cool!" They all said at the same time.

SC walked across the forest and looked around. He looked at his map to try and find the other tomb.

"Wait till those ponies get a good look at The Phantom Wolf Tribe! They will then know what it's like to be humiliated!"

He then found himself in a misty part of the forest. He looked to his right to see a lever.

"Yes! The lever for the tomb!"

He pulled the lever and the floor opened up again. Suddenly, shadows of wolves came out of the tomb. He fell backwards and looked up to see a wolf with a no face! He had a mouth and black fur going up to his shoulders. His face was white and he smiled.

"Why hello there! You seem to be lost. Why have you released us from our captivity?"

SC got up and rubed some dirt off of himself.

"I'm SC. And I've come to ask you to help me defeat the ponies in Ponyville known as the Mane Six!"

"Hmm. It seems you know what you want. But, if we want to attack we must grow our army."

"How do we do that?"

"Oh don't worry about a thing. The names Ghost by the way."

It was now dark in Ponyville. Everybody was sleeping and it was calm. For now anyways. A shadow of a wolf appeared on the wall. The shadow snuck up into a house. It was Ghost! He looked around to see a pony asleep.

He snuck up closer until he was face to face with the animal. He then bit her causing her to wake up and scream. Everypony woke up alarmed at the scream. They saw a pony come out of her house and fall on the floor.

She then started to change! She had turned into a wolf! Behind her was a tall wolf with no face! Ghost laughed and shouted.

"Bon appetite boys!"

All of the sudden, wolves came out of the shadows and started to attack everypony! Twilight came out and saw what had happened. She then charged at the wolf. Ghost saw that she was coming at him and teleported behind her.

Twilight looked to see the wolf smiling.

"Hahahahahahaa! Don't be scared little ch-"

Ghost was then hit by a ball of confetti. Twilight looked to her right to see Pinkie Pie with her cannon. She laughed and looked back to see Ghost getting up.

Rainbow Dash then appeared and held Ghost down.

"Where's SC?!"

Ghost laughed and pushed her off.

"Do you think I'd tell you?!"

Pinkie Pie then reloaded her cannon and started to fire cakes at him.

"Dash! Stay here! I'm going to Celestia to help us cure these ponies!"

Dash nodded and went to attack a wolf that was about to attack somepony.

Twilight opened the door and found Celestia talking to her sister.

"Twilight? What's going on?"

She panted and gasped.

"Wolves...SC...confetti..."

"What is it?!"

"Everypony is turning into a wolf and we need to cure them!"

"The Phantom Wolf Tribe. Don't worry. I can do something about this."

Fluttershy ran away from a wolf that was going to bite her.

"Nice wolf! Please don't eat me mister wolf!"

Suddenly, a beam of yellow hit the wolf causing it to become a pony again. Fluttershy looked up to see Celestia, Luna, and Twilight shooting the wolves. Ghost saw what was happening and disappeared.

Al, the ponies cheered as they saw the other ponies being turned back to normal.

Pinkie panted.

"I've never been this tired."

Everybody started to laugh.

SC walked away hearing the screams of cheers. He flinched and looked at his map.

"I guess the wolves were to weak. But I know of an even more powerful tribe. The last and most feared of them all. The Deer Tribe!"

Episode 3: Deer Celestia!

Normal POV

SC walked along the forest. He kept thinking about what he was going to do. He didn't want to do it, but those ponies had humiliated him! He felt regrets. But, he had to keep going, he told himself. He looked to see a tree with branches that looked like antlers.

"Yes! I found it!"

He looked down to see heads of deers.

"The Deer Tribe. The most feared and powerful tribe of them all! Wait till they see this!"

He pulled the lever which caused the floor to open up and form a stairway down.

"How convenient."

He walked down but couldn't find anything. All he found was skulls and carcasses of deer. He then felt a chill in his spine. He looked to see a deer with a black cloak and no jaw! He fell back and backed up.

"Oh, sorry my boy. I guess with my look I seem to scare visitors."

SC was shocked to hear the deer talk. He helped him up.

"Thanks. What happened to the others?"

"Oh, poor unfortunate souls. They were so hungry but they couldn't get out. Simply rotted away. Now who may you be my little appetiz-I mean, friend?"

"I'm SC. I came here for help. You see, these ponies called the Mane Six humiliated me! And I want revenge!"

"Hmm I've heard about them. I'll help you with your problem. Oh, excuse me. I forget my manners. My name is Nightmare, The Deer Lord. But you can call me, Night."

"Alright, Night. I think we should attack Ponyville and probably throw some apples at them and-"

"No! No!"

Night inturruped him.

"I have a better idea. What if we attack the castle and show them what we got?"

"That's a great idea! When do we start?"

"Now."

Meanwhile at Celestia's castle, Rainbow Dash was boasting to the group about how great she was at fighting the wolves.

"I was like POW BAM WHAM! I am probably the greatest fighter ever!"

Celestia noticed this and smiled.

"If you really think you're that great then you should learn a lesson. You will be punished and will stay here with Twilight sorting the books."

Rainbow Dash was shocked.

"What?! How long?!"

"Until you can solve this simple riddle: What is the best way to defeat an enemy?"

"Ha! That's easy! Sonic Rainboom!"

Celestia nodded and walked away.

"Go help Twilight sort the books."

Rainbow sighed. She followed Twilight to the library and groaned.

SC and Night sneakily walked through the guards. Nightmare had knocked them out and they were able to get past. SC laughed.

"Yes! If we keep winning then you will be my loyal henchman!"

Nightmare rolled his eyes and caught his eye on the library.

"Hey, SC? Why don't you go see if there are any apples in that room to throw."

"Hahaha! Good idea! I always look forward to pranks!"

Night then walked towards the library and saw two ponies. One seemed to be a purple unicorn/Pegasus happy. The other was a blue pegasus with a bored look. They seemed to be sorting the books.

Dash had been piling books when she found a weird one. It had a red crystal with symbols around it.

"Hey, Twi! Look what I found!"

Twilight grabbed the book with her magic and looked at it.

"This is a very strange book, Dash."

She opened it to see weird drawings of creatures and ancient writing of some kind. Dash looked at it in amazement.

"So awesome!"

Twilight opened a page that showed a black dog with white eyes and sharp fangs. She looked at the title and read it.

"Hybrid, The King of Chaos?"

Dash shook her head.

"King of chaos? I thought that was Discord."

"Apparently not. It says here that he was banished for causing something called...The Dark Moon?"

"That's strange. I've never heard of a dark moon."

"It seems the dark moon was used to take over Equastria and cover it in darkness?!"

"Woah! Not awesome!"

"Don't worry. It says he was locked in the Underworld. Woah!"

"What?"

"He is able to change all reality, has great power like no other, and able to communicate to anypony by speaking to them in dreams!"

Dash gasped.

"He has the powers of Discord, Celestia, and Luna?! No wonder he's called the king of chaos!"

"That's not all. It also says that he was...the brother of Discord?!"

They both looked at each other in astonishment. Twilight closed the book and set it down on a table.

"We have to tell Celestia and the others about this!"

Dash then smirked.

"Speaking of which. I finally found out the riddle! I'm going to tell Celestia the answer, then everybody will see I really am a great fighter! Then I will become The Golden Mane!"

"You know, Rainbow Dash. You shouldn't be so cocky. That's why you probably got punished and caused SC to attack-"

"Wait! Are you saying it's my fault that the tribes are attacking?!"

"No no no! I'm just saying that that isn't a good attitude."

"Whatever."

She then flew to see Celestia.

Night had been listening and looked to see the book just sitting there. He thought to himself.

"I must get that book! It's the only way to unite the tribes and to follow me!"

He then heard Twilight walking his direction! He walked into the wall and disappeared. Twilight had the book with her she tore out a page with Hybrid in it to show the others.

"Hopefully Celestia will shed some light about this mystery."

She then walked to find her friends. As soon as she went around a corner, Night came out of the wall and chuckled.

"Thank you miss Twilight. You have just given me the key to uniting the tribes! And the key, to the Underworld!"

Dash found Celestia and smiled with pride. The princess smiled.

"Oh, Rainbow Dash? I see you've found an answer."

"Yes I did! Teamwork!"

"Is this what you think?"

Dash smiled and nodded.

"Sadly you are wrong."

Dash groaned and walked away to find Twilight and the others.

"And that's how I got this page of the book."

Twilight had just finished telling them about The Dark Moon and The King of Chaos. They all looked at each other in astonishment. Rarity was the first one to speak.

"So what you're saying is that this being will try to take over all of Equastria?!"

She nodded. Applejack realized something.

"Do you think it's that dark lord we heard about in that scroll?"

Twilight responded.

"I believe so. Celestia must know more about this then we do. We need to talk to her and fast!"

Pinkie then heard a noise.

"What was that?!"

She hopped over to a room and saw the black dog that ate her cakes. SC looked at her and then ran.

"Guys! It's SC! He's in the castle!"

The others went to chase after him. SC walked up to the highest room in the castle and closed the door. He panted and panted. Suddenly, an invisible force knocked him to the ground. He looked up to see Nightmare appear in front of him.

"Night?! I thought you were my friend?!"

"Your friend?! All you wanted to do was make the tribes your slaves! Well I'm sorry my dear boy but I've got stuff to attend to."

He then disappeared and Rainbow Dash came through the door. She knocked it down and looked at him. Celestia came behind her and looked at SC.

"SC! Get here this instance!"

SC put his head down in shame and walked in front of Celestia. He met her face to face. Dash started to laugh.

"What's his punishment? Sit in a corner for a century? Eat a bucket of worms? Oh! Clean the entire castle?"

"I know exactly what to do."

SC gulped.

"And that's why you don't ever trust a deer."

Celestia had been talking to SC and he smiled.

"Wow Celes-ma'am. If my dad had told me that, I would have never done this."

"It's ok. I'm sure it would have been the first thing he would tell you."

She then gave him a cake and walked out of the room to see the Mane Six looking at her in shock. Dash got angry.

"Celestia, this isn't fair! Why isn't he getting punished?!"

The princess then smirked.

"Oh, I almost forgot. Why are you not still sorting books? Did you figure out the answer to my riddle?"

The Mane Six smiled and ran off leaving Dash alone.

"Well?"

Dash sighed.

"No, I'm sorry Princess Celestia. I should have never boasted about me becoming the Golden Mane. I'm also sorry that I couldn't figure out the riddle."

She started to walk away when Celestia said:

"The best way to defeat an enemy...Is to make them your friend."

Dash looked at her in surprise and walked to see SC eating his cake.

"Kind of what Night did with SC."

Celestia nodded. Dash looked at him with sadness in her eyes.

"Then I should make sure that he gets a real friend."

She then walked over to where SC was standing and looked directly at him. SC looked at her in shock. What was she going to do to him now?

"Hi,. Look, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have humiliated you. I just want to start over and get to know each other. So, I hope you can find some kindness in your heart to forgive me."

She then put her hoove out to shake his paw. He smiled and shook it. Celestia smiled.

"Well done, Rainbow Dash. Well done.

Hello again! I hoped you guys liked this chapter! It was fun to write. Also, to clearify, SC is a black furred dog with his right ear pointing down. He is also the same age as Dash. He has purple eyes and loves to take naps, do pranks, and have fun. He is also my OC for this story. And Hybrid is a dog with fur as dark as night.
