"You betrayed my trust...our friendship..." Said Hanzo. "Now, you pay the price." He said as his fist were engulfed by flames.
Kenshi looked at his fate as Hanzo's eyes were also covered in flames. Hanzo's fist came slamming down, making a hole in his chest. Hanzo watched what was left from Kenshi leave his forsaken body. Hanzo thought he was going to the Nether Realm, but he couldn't be any more wrong.
Kenshi suddenly awoke, lying in a field. He looked around at his surroundings. He got the feeling of something he haven't felt for a while. Peace.
He tried to get up, but he was brought back down with a painful head ache. Instead of trying to get up, he tried to reason with himself on how and why he is here.
"What happened? What is Hanzo going to do to Takeda? Where am I? Am I ever going to leave this place?" Were the only things he kept asking himself.
After about fifteen minutes of trying to solve the mystery on how he arrived here, he decided to give an another attempt on getting up. He was successful and, started to stretch. After he was done, he checked if Sento was on his back and oddly enough, it was.
Kenshi swore that Hanzo had destroyed it by breaking it in two pieces. But it was sheathed, attached to his back.
He decided to unsheathe to get a look at it. He looked at the beautiful sword, feeling his ancestors course through it. He started to swing it around trying to feel if anything was different. It felt normal.
Kenshi decided to sheath Sento and start his journey. He noticed that there was a dirt path and a forest. When he looked at the forest, he felt a strong presence of evil in the forest.
"I don't know what lurks in there, and I don't want to find out." He thought to himself. So he decided to go on the dirt path.
As he was traveling for who knows how long, he reaches a bridge. "A bridge?! Must mean civilization!" He thought as he crossed the bridge. "A very...colorful one too." He mentally noted.
After some more travel he reached what seemed to be an endless amount of apple trees. "Hmmm, these were manually planted, which supports my theory on civilization." He thought to himself.
He approached on of the trees and picked an apple off of one of the branches and took a bite into it. "This is a very delicious apple." He thought. He was soon ripped out of his thoughts when he saw a black cloud of what seemed to be smoke. "Trouble..." Thought the blind swordsman as he sprinted towards the source of the smoke.
After running for some time, he reached a village. He was to focused on his mission to pay attention to the strange stares he was acquiring from the residents. Once he reached what was producing the flames he noticed it wasn't a house but what looked to be a tree that was carved into a house.
He slammed through the doors and looked around. He heard a scream and headed for the source of the plea for help. He reached a door and heard yet another plea for help. He tried to push the door open but, it wouldn't budge.
"Stand away from the door, I'm going to break it down." Yelled Kenshi as he prepared himself for impact.
Okay, I'm ready." Said a feminine voice from behind the door. Kenshi assumed that the source of the screams were from this person behind the door.
Kenshi backed up a little then charged into the door breaking through it in the process. He looked around for the women. He was surprised to find a purple horse trapped under a wooden beam and it was crying too.
"Please...help...me.." The trapped being said. That didn't stop Kenshi from saving it.
He picked up the burning beam and tossed it aside. He noticed how one of it's back leg was twisted in an abnormal fashion.
"This might hurt a bit." Warned Kenshi as he stuck one of his hands out. Unaware, the creature just gave him a confused stare. He then used his telekinesis to move the bone in place.
The creature let out a cry of pain for a few seconds then stopped. It stood up and tried to walk. It had a surprised expression as it looked at him.
"How did you..." It tried to say. "No time to explain, just go." He said. It nodded in agreement and ran out the door. I was behind it until a large pile of rubble fell and blocked his only escape.
"Let me help you!" It shouted. "Just go, I'll handle this." He retorted. "Please, you saved me, let me return my debt." It said as another pile of debris fell next to it. "Just go!" He yelled scarring the creature a bit. It looked at him one last time and ran off.
The room was filled with smoke, making nearly impossible to breathe. He looked around for any escape routes and only found one. The window. He cursed under his breathe as he backed. He heard what sounded to be an explosion and looked. He saw a wave of flames coming from the doorway he entered from. After seeing it, he turned and ran as fast as he could and jumped through the window with the flames right behind him.
He was too rushed to pay attention on how he landed which was a bad mistake. He landed on his chest which knocked the wind out of him. He looked to see his vision was fading away. The last thing he remembered was a group of colorful creatures running up to him.
