Chapter 1: Infiltration

Within the Iron Gate on Prison Island, the evil Dr. Eggman started shooting his way through. "That was too easy! Now, let's take a look at what my grandfather was working on; a top-secret military weapon..." After blasting through several G.U.N. robots, and traversing through the tight building, Eggman approached a terminal.

"So THIS is the military's top-secret weapon. It's a lot smaller than I...expected. All I have to do is place the Chaos Emerald in this Dreamcast. No! This CONSOLE..."

With that said, the doctor placed the emerald into the console and jumped down to a lower level. Suddenly, a black hedgehog appeared atop a rising pillar! In confusion, Eggman said, "Is that you, Sonic?! Are you trying to foil my ingenious plans again?!" But then, he came to a realization. "Wait a minute, you're not Sonic! This can't be possible!"

The black hedgehog slowly said, "My name is Shadow. Since you were SO kind to release me my master...I will grant you ONE wish." Eggman then asked, "What are you?! Some sort of genie?!" Suddenly, an alarm started blaring and Shadow levitated off of the pillar using his Hover Shoes. A G.U.N. battle mech titled, "B-3x Hot Shot" appeared with a human inside piloting it. The Hot Shot immediately began firing at Shadow, who somersaulted to get away from the rapid bullets. Once the Hot Shot got close enough to Shadow, it began launching a rocket at him. "Foolish machine." Shadow said as he jumped over the rocket and homing attacked the Hot Shot, causing its internal springs and engine to get clustered up, and some springs bounced out of place! With that, the Hot Shot began malfunctioning as the seatbelt that the pilot had on, had begun choking him to death, as he started to lie in a puddle of blood.

The Hot Shot went up in flames as it crashed right into a wall. "Very impressive, Shadow. So, YOU are the military's top-secret weapon. But what DID you mean when you mentioned one wish?" Shadow closed his eyes and said, "Get me more Chaos Emeralds, then meet me in the central control room on the Space Colony ARK." Eggman was shocked by this request and bellowed, "ARK?!" Shadow then walked away, leading Eggman to go to his Hidden Base.

Chapter 2: The Master Emerald's Defeat

Within some dusty location, was Knuckles the Echidna and Rouge the Bat arguing about the holy Master Emerald. "Just let it go! You just don't know when to give up, do you?" Rouge angrily asked. "What are you taking about? That emerald's mine. Got it in your head? The Master Emerald has the power to neutralize the energy and powers of the Chaos Emeralds; which makes it very powerful."

Knuckles was interrupted by seeing the sky start to turn purplish-black, and watched something fall from the sky. However it wasn't one, but six things, and they each ended up in various locations around Earth. "What the-" Knuckles said, before he looked at the Master Emerald and saw it being taken by Doctor Eggman.

"I came here following the radiant signal from the Emerald. If I'm not mistaken, this is the Master Emerald, is it not?" the villain asked, while currently lifting the large gem.

Knuckles was confused as he said, "What do you mean, 'if I'm not mistaken'? You're doing the same thing you tried to do when we went from Mushroom Hill to Flying Battery to Sandopolis to Lava Reef to Hidden Palace and onward. You KNOW that's the Master Emerald!"

Eggman cackled to himself as he said, "Thanks for confirming it, Mighty the Armadillo ripoff."

Knuckles angrily jumped up and broke the Master Emerald into pieces to prevent Eggman from stealing it!

Rouge let out a scream, right before strangling Knuckles. "What was that all about? And look what you did to my beautiful emerald!" Knuckles pushed Rouge backwards and exclaimed, "I did that to prevent it from being stolen you damn idiot! If it's in pieces, I can restore it. And by the way, that's not YOUR emerald!"

Eggman began flying away as he said, "Doesn't matter. I'll look into it once I get to my base!"

Rouge grunted and said, "I despise anyone who takes my jewels! All the world's gems are MINE to keep!" Knuckles angrily put his fists up as he said, "Yeah, well we'll see about that, bat girl!"

Knuckles then went off to Wild Canyon, while Rouge went off to Dry Lagoon.

Suddenly, when Knuckles made it to the Wild Canyon, he tripped over SOMEBODY. "How can someone as smart as I am trip over a...person?"

He looked down and saw a yellow pony with pink hair, and with butterflies on the side of her. "Strange, nobody else seems to be in this canyon." Knuckles said as he looked around. He groaned and picked up the pony saying, "I guess I'll have to take her with me, before she dries up in this heat." And with that, Knuckles began searching for pieces of the Master Emerald.

Chapter 3: REVENGE!

After entering his base, Eggman went into a room with a warping device. "With the Chaos Emeralds... In the Space Colony ARK? I've got to find out just what's going on up there!" Eggman then began pushing a few buttons on a terminal, before a live news-feed appeared before his very eyes.

"We interrupt this broadcast for an important news flash! There has been a break-in at the federal-reserve bank. Strangely, the only thing stolen was a Chaos Emerald. According to eyewitnesses, the suspect was identified as the world-renowed hero, Sonic the Hedgehog."

Eggman began evilly laughing to himself as he said, "Those fools must all be colorblind! They have a clear shot of Shadow's face, yet they believe he is still Sonic!"

Shadow was on top of a red suspension bridge, looking at the police cars and officers below. "How simply pathetic." Shadow says as he has a flashback to fifty years ago on the ARK. Within the flashback, Shadow and his good friend, Maria Robotnik, were running away from the G.U.N. soldiers and entered the Research Facility. Maria was about to die, as she leaned onto a computer to support her balance. She trapped Shadow in a capsule, getting Shadow to go, "WHAT?!" Maria, in her dying breath softly told Shadow, "Shadow, I beg of you...please, do it for me...for all the people on that planet... Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog." Shadow was then launched down to Earth, where moments later, G.U.N. captured him.

After getting that image out of his head, Shadow said, "Maria... I still remember what I promised you... I promised you... REVENGE!"

Shadow then began grinding down the bridge rail as he made a leap onto a conveniently placed spring. He ran through the Radical Highway at fast speeds, destroying G.U.N.'s machinery along the way!

Chapter 4: Twilight's City Escape

The next day, it was 1:25pm when a certain unicorn woke up in a San-Francisco looking city. "What the?!" she exclaimed, looking around at her surroundings. "This doesn't look like Ponyville, or Equestria for that matter." The unicorn was revealed to be Twilight Sparkle, who looked up at the sky, only to see herself about to be crushed by a falling object. The object turned out to be the famous, Sonic the Hedgehog, skating through the city on a metal board. Twilight took another look up and saw robots bring dropped down. "Really?! First blue things, now robot overlords?" she asked herself.

Suddenly, another metal board fell behind Twilight and slid under her hooves, getting her to begin sliding down the busy streets. Twilight screamed as the force and velocity propelled her downwards and forward! She was about to hit a car, but used her magic to toss it out of the way. Unfortunately, the car ended up hitting another car... then another car... then another car... then a- it basically kept hitting other cars. "Sorry!" Twilight yelled as she finally fell off the roads and into a skate park. "I bet nopony has ever had THIS much weirdness in one day."

Robots began to circle her, as they all aimed their lasers at the purple unicorn. Before they could fire however, Sonic the Hedgehog turned around and homing attacked each of them, until there was nothing but metal scrap remaining. "Who are you?" Twilight asked, picking herself up. Sonic simply stuck up his index finger saying, "I'm Sonic the Hedgehog!" He then ran off and ended up back on the road. Twilight looked at the metal remains of the robots and said to herself, "I wonder where exactly I am," with a slight discomfort in her voice. Faster than she could blink, Twilight heard mechanical whirring and decided to hide behind a bush.

Unfortunately, she ran into Omochao, which activated him. Before he could saw a word, Twilight grabbed him and constantly punched him saying, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" over and over again. However, Omochao continued to speak, and Twilight groaned and threw it to the side. Two G.U.N. Beetles hovered over Twilight, and then aimed lasers at her. "Seriously! Why are there so many lasers?!" she exclaimed, before getting electrocuted by one! Twilight screamed in pain for 5 seconds, until she regained full control of her body again. She began running in the direction that Sonic went, only to hit a dash panel and run extremely fast downhill. "My legs won't stop moving!" she screamed, before going on a ramp and landing onto a building.

Seconds later, the building collapsed and Twilight teleported ten feet away from the crumbling building. "Where is Spike when you need him?" she asked herself, until being spotted by ANOTHER freaking G.U.N. Beetle! This time Twilight tried to use her magic to move it away from her, but the Beetle managed to be somewhat resistant to it as the magic repelled itself and Twilight was sent catapulting right next to Sonic, who was running by a huge G.U.N. truck!

Twilight squealed as she began trying to outrun the truck, but wasn't fast enough and was closer and closer to getting run over! "Grab my hand!" Sonic exclaimed as he slowed down to grab Twilight. "What's a hand?" Twilight asked in confusion, getting Sonic to groan. He took a hold of Twilight as a whole and began outrunning the truck! Sonic slid under a building with Twilight, while the truck ran into it, getting destroyed in the process!

Sonic chuckled to himself and said, "Piece of cake. Not bad."

Chapter 5: The Encounter

Sonic and Twilight made it towards the center of multiple buildings. "So, you're a hedgehog?" Twilight asked in shock. "But I thought hedgehogs were small like bunnies." Sonic nodded and replied, "Well, I'm not your average hedgehog. Come on, I'll find my friend, Tails, he'll know where your fr-"

Suddenly, he was cut off by another mech known as Big Foot, which was very similar to Hot Shot. "Okay, I'm ready, bring it on!" Sonic shouted as Big Foot began locking into him and Twilight! Sonic pushed Twilight behind a crate and jumped up to homing attack Big Foot. Unfortunately, Sonic couldn't quite reach Big Foot, and ended up getting pelted with bullets. "We've got him cornered, base," the pilot of Big Foot said. Sonic instantly got up and said, "Do you know who you're facing? I'm Sonic the Hedgehog!" He then began revving up into a Spin Dash and tried to attack Big Foot. Big Foot however, swerved out the way and began making it hard for Sonic to target him. Big Foot began firing bullets and actually managed to pelt Twilight a fair amount if times. "How dare you?! Hasn't anypony ever taught you manners?!" Twilight yelled, getting Big Foot to attempt charging her. Twilight braced herself, before seeing a rainbow streak zip through the Big Foot. "What was that?!" Sonic exclaimed, before seeing Big Foot begin to explode.

"Commander!" the pilot yelled as he got launched into the dusk sky yelling, "I'm blasting off again!"

The rainbow streak turned out to be one of Twilight's friends, Rainbow Dash, who is a Pegasus-pony (she IS my most hated main character). "Well, I guess more than one of you are here." Sonic said, before turning around to see Shadow on top of the Big Foot. "It all starts with this..." Shadow said as he held the Chaos Emerald tightly. "A Chaos Emerald? Now I know what's going on!" Sonic yelled as he began walking towards Shadow. "The military has mistaken ME for the likes of YOU! So, where do you think you're going with that emerald?!"

Shadow simply stood there, with no expression on his face. "Say something, you damn hedgehog!" Sonic shouted with anger in his voice. Shadow quickly yelled, "Chaos Control!" and warped right past Sonic in the blink of an eye. "Wow! He's faster than I am!" Rainbow Dash said with excitement. "It's not his speed, he must be using the Chaos Emerald to warp!" Sonic exclaimed.

"My name is Shadow, I am the world's ultimate life form. There's no time for games... Farewell!"

And with that, Shadow disappeared with the Chaos Emerald. "Shadow, what is he?" Sonic asked himself. "Didn't you hear? He just said he's the ultimate life form." Twilight answered, making Sonic feel dumb. G.U.N. troops began surrounding the area, with one soldier saying, "Don't move! Stay where you are! Keep your hands in the air!" Twilight spoke up and said, "We don't have any hands!" The soldier then yelled, "Uh...well, keep your hooves in the air!" Twilight and Dash had to both get on their legs and put their hooves in the air. "You'd better pay me for saving you from seeing Satan..." Dash said to Twilight. Sonic sighed and said, "Damn, not here."

Chapter 6: Eggman's Master Plan

Eggman entered the control room of the ARK where Shadow was waiting. Shadow closed his eyes and said, "I've been waiting for you, Doctor. Now, let me show you the ultimate achievement of what the world's leading scientist - Professor Gerald has created." A device behind Shadow then booted up.

"The ARK was the first space colony created by mankind. Not many insecure people know that the ARK had secret weapons of mass destruction. Inside of a certain research facility, a drug lab if you please. This is one of them: a weapon so powerful and magnificent that they ran out of time to properly name it. It's codename: Eclipse Canon." Shadow said with an impressed expression.

"Destroying the entire planet...? Was this my grandfather's true legacy?" Eggman asked himself. Shadow continued talking however. "But it's been deactivated for some time now..." Shadow then tossed the Chaos Emerald into the panel behind him and it let out a glow. "Exactly, to reactivate this old machine, we NEED those seven Chaos Emeralds. Once you have that, Doctor, then you'll have the ultimate harmony and power of destruction, to abuse as you please. And then... the world could be YOURS!" Shadow said with an evil laugh following up.

Doctor Eggman began laughing with joy, catching his breath to say, "Sounds like a plan! I like the way you think Shadow! Yes! The harmony and power of destruction! I will get the emeralds, use the machine to destroy the world, and then create a legacy of my own with, Planet Eggmanland."

"Do you really think it'll be THAT easy?" a familiar voice said. Shadow and Eggman looked up to see Rouge the Bat. "I've got a great idea! How 'bout making a deal? If you let me borrow that radar, I may be able to help you, whaddya say?" she said with a wink. Eggman replied by asking what he gets in return. Rouge quickly said, "I have an idea where the other Chaos Emeralds might be. I may not look like it, but I am a treasure hunter that specializes in all sorts of jewels and trinkets." Rouge then pulled out a Chaos Emerald and Eggman takes a look at Shadow, who nods in response. Eggman then said, "Very well..."

Reviews are appreciated, and keep in mind that I'm not a fan of either MLP or Sonic! I specifically made this to cater to fans in each of those categories. I don't hate the series, but I'm not into them either. Also I will do more of this. When I put MAGIC MIX into the title, it's to explain that it's a crossover between MLP and a video game. For example, I'm planning on making:

Battle for Bikini Bottom: Magic Mix

Sonic Heroes: Magic Mix

And to clarify, MAGIC MIX follows SEPARATE continuity. For example, everything that happens here will carry over to Heroes, while BFBB will act like they never switched worlds before.

Chapter 7: Returning to Prison Island

The Dark villains were in a forest located on Prison Island. "Having to come back isn't my idea of a vacation. How can you be sure your intelligence reports are correct? Why would the Chaos Emeralds be here on the island? Are you absolutely sure?" Eggman asked Rouge.

"Just believe what you wanna believe."

Eggman growled and said, "Very well. Let's discuss how we are going to do this. I will go first and distract those pesky military troupes, allowing you to sneak into the base undetected. Then, Shadow will enter the armory, where he will set the timer on those dynamite packs. Once that is in place, we'll blow up the whole island before anyone has a chance to know what hit them!" Eggman then turned around to Rouge and said, "Meanwhile, you will sneak into the cargo area and grab the Chaos Emeralds. We only have thirteen minutes left and one try to pull this off; so you mustn't fail me..." The three then each took separate paths.

Tails the Fox was flying in his Tornado-2 plane to Prison Island. "There's no mistake about it, that must be the island! It's a secret military base that it's reinforced, and super strong. It's called, Prison Island. Wait! Why am I even telling myself this and wasting more time?!" Tails FINALLY realized that he wasn't talking to anybody but himself, and felt so embarrassed because of it. He looked ahead and saw Eggman aiming at what appeared to be Amy Rose! "What's Amy doing here? Doesn't matter, I have to help because she's in danger! Tornado transformation!" The Tornado-2 then turned into some sort of walking mech.

Tails landed right on the Weapons Bed landmark of the island and faced Eggman. "Hahahahaha! You'll never defeat me, Tails!" Eggman cackled as he began firing lasers at Tails! Tails's mech began taking some major damage before Tails shot a homing nuclear laser at Eggman. "The laser ended up temporarily immobilizing Eggman's mech. " This time, I'll let you go... But next time, you won't be so lucky! " he said in a cold voice as he made his way through Weapons Bed. Tails looked around for Amy, but it turned out that the pink figure he saw wasn't actually Amy, but a different person entirely.

Chapter 8: Tails and Pinkie

Tails turned around only to see a pink Earth pony with raspberry hair. "I'm sorry ma'am, I must've mistaken you for somebody else," Tails said with an embarrassed expression on his face. The pony turned around at him, only to laugh. "Sorry, it's just that I've never seen a fox that could talk before!". Tails approached the pony with caution as he said, "Have you seen a pink hedgehog anywhere on this island?" The pink pony nodded and said, "Nope! I've been sleeping for hours. It was the mechanical sounds like 'CRASH' and 'BEEP BEEP' that woke me up!"

Tails proceeded to enter the 'Prison Lane' level (cheap enemy placement, here we come)! The pony began to eagerly follow him as well. "Wait! I forgot to tell you my name! It's Pinkamena Pie! But you're NOT ALLOWED to call me that! Call me Pinkie!" she yelled to Tails, trying to catch up with him. Tails paid no mind to her however, as he began shooting the G.U.N. robots and activating switches to get to Sonic's jail cell. Suddenly, a robot simply fell on Tails, getting him to take damage. "Darn it!" he yelled as he began firing at it. "Those lasers look pretty." Pinkie said, paying no mind to the fact that lasers are deadly. Tails's mech was taking more and more damage as he went through the jail. Unfortunately, with all the cheap enemy placement, Tails was on the verge of being killed.

HOWEVER! He saw an 'Instant-Repair-Box-Thing' up ahead, but it was guarded by a freaking Beetle! "Hey, I need you to get that box thing for me!" Tails told Pinkie in panic. Pinkie just stood there with a smirk on her face as she said, "What's my full name?" Tails groaned as he was in a hurry because the Beetle was soon to activate! "Pinkie-something Pie?!" he shouted, although Pinkie simply replied, "That's close, but you didn't get my middle name at all." Finally, the Beetle activated and began firing at Pinkie, as she was closer to it than Tails. Pinkie screamed as the multiple lasers electrocuted her! Tails angrily ignored Pinkie's pain, and tried to make his way through the rest of 'Prison Lane'. However, he found it hard to constantly here Pinkie's screams of pain, and would cringe every time. "Why do I hate myself so much?" Tails asked himself as he went back to shoot down the G.U.N. Beetle. By the time he got there though, the Beetle was already destroyed. He looked to his left to see Pinkie panting with anger. "Nobody...hurts...PINKIE!" she yelled, with her loud screech getting all of the G.U.N. androids to malfunction.

"You know, all you did was have to say 'Diane' and I would've gotten that box for you." she told Tails. Tails sighed as he continued through Prison Lane, having Pinkie stalk him the whole way through.

Chapter 9: Metal-Green Security Jungle

After getting through Prison Lane, Tails saw that Amy had released Sonic, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash. "How'd you even get in here, Amy?" Tails asked, looking at the hole in the roof that was in the shape of Sonic. "Well, if you gotta know, I smashed all the security cameras."*

Sonic, Twilight, and Dash were all at the end of 'Weapons Bed', and at the start of, 'Metal Harbor'. "I've gotta chase down that black hedgehog. You two should stay here." Sonic said as he began running his way through Metal Harbor. "I bet I'm WAY faster than he is." Dash said with a smirk**. She prepared herself and attempted to take off, but was stopped by Twilight, who held onto Dash's wing. "Are you seriously going to risk getting killed by robots with multiple lasers?!" Rainbow Dash ended up almost breaking her wing due to Twilight's grasp on it. "Fine. But I'll prove that I'm faster than him!" Dash yelled with a pouty expression on her face.

Sonic eventually came across that (goddamn) rocket bay. "I've only got ten seconds!" he yelled as he began running through the walkways and grabbed onto the rocket. "BLAST OFF!" The rocket began going high up into the sky as it ended up taking Sonic along with it. A metal piece of the rocket fell off and Sonic grabbed onto it and began skating through Metal Harbor. As soon as he reached the end, Omochao appeared and said, "You get a Rank B!" Sonic asked why, and Omochao said that it was because Sonic didn't grab onto the TOP of the rocket (the MAIN reason we all hate Metal Harbor). Sonic shrugged it off and said, "Screw that! I'm out of here!"

Meanwhile, Rouge was inside of 'Security Freaking Hall' locating the three Chaos Emeralds (she works for G.U.N./why don't they just give them to her?). "Set the timer to fifteen minutes. Let's go, Rouge!" Eggman shouted in a walkie-talkie. Rouge, being the genius that she is says, "Five minutes should be plenty!" (This is why we hate Security Hall) With all three Chaos Emeralds finally in her grasp, Rouge realized that she was TRAPPED in the Security Hell (not a typo). With nothing else to do, she contacted Shadow.

Tails ran outside to the start of Weapons Bed, and was surprised that Sonic wasn't there. "Where could he be?" he asked himself as he pressed on through. However, he made a grave mistake! While yes, he would eventually find Twilight and Rainbow Dash, he left behind Amy and Pinkie. "Such a brat sometimes..." Amy said referring to Tails. Pinkie had a different opinion however and said, "He's actually kinda cute."

Shadow was at the start of the White Jungle, where his walkie-talkie started activating. "This is Rouge. I've got a small problem. I can't believe that I'm locked inside this safe with three Chaos Emeralds. I guess I won't be able to call myself a treasure hunter anymore..." Shadow acted like he didn't care and continued walking, until he started having flashbacks of Maria's situation, and then compared it to Rouge's situation. "That damn troublemaker!" Shadow yelled as he began going through White Jungle, swinging on vines and such. After going through the perilous jungle, Shadow made it on a vine in Green Forest.

Sonic then made his way into the Green Forest, where he found Shadow. "That blue hedgehog, out of all places..." Shadow angrily said. "I've found you, faker!" Sonic shouted with his finger pointed to Shadow. "Faker? I think YOU'RE the fake hedgehog here! You're comparing yourself to me? Ha! You're not even good enough to be MY fake!" Shadow said as he jumped down to face Sonic. "I'll make you eat those words!"

Sonic instantly Spin Dashed into Shadow, who almost fell off the edge of the forest. The black hedgehog however homing attacked into Sonic and then kicked him in the face. Sonic bounced backwards and began blocking Shadow's attacks. "Chaos Spear!" Shadow shouted as he through several red dart-like spears at Sonic. Sonic jumped over the Chaos Spears and punched Shadow in the stomach. During their battle, Eggman contacted Shadow and said, "Shadow, what are you doing?! Get back here before the island blows up with you on it!" Sonic felt his blood chill as he yelled, "Blows up?!" Shadow quickly Chaos Controlled to Rouge and managed to save her and the Chaos Emeralds. "I have to find Tails, Amy, and those other girls fast." Sonic said as he began speeding through Green Jungle.

*How Amy got on Prison Island was never explained in the game, and Sonic X isn't canon.

**Yes. Technically in Adventure 2, Heroes, (technically) Shadow the Hedgehog, 2006, and Secret Rings (Sonic confirmed that it's canon in Generations), Sonic moved slower than he did in Adventure 1 and Unleashed.

Chapter 10: Knuckles Starts Pumpkin Hill

When Sonic made it to the end of Green Forest, the ground started sinking into the water below. "Eggman!" Sonic shouted as he tried making it back to the very top, but he only had very little success! "Who's great idea was it to build a forest over WATER?" Sonic yelled, as he was unable to swim in water. The ground continued to sink into the ground as Sonic tried to repeatedly homing attack a random spring. The spring was being an asshole however, as it started slowly rising into the air! "What the-" Sonic said, unaware that he was two feet from touching the water.

Before touching the water however, Rainbow Dash managed to swoop in from the sky and grab Sonic, who was OBVIOUSLY way too heavy! "Hey! I can handle this myself!" Sonic said as he was now in the air. Rainbow Dash scoffed and said, "You're welcome!" Prison Island was just seconds from going up in flames! The two made it to Weapons Bed, where the bomb was ticking. "Sonic, what took you so long?" Amy asked with a lovestruck smile on her face. Sonic ignored the pink hedgehog and yelled, "Tails! Get off the island now! It's gonna blow up!"

With that one sentence, Tails instantly transformed his mech back into a plane. "You guys go, I'll meet you back in Central City!" Sonic said as he began running across the water to the city. "Awwww... But I wanted to stay a bit longer," Pinkie whined. Tails's mind was focused on escaping the island more than anything else! "Pinkie! We don't have time for this!" Twilight scolded as she used her magic to levitate Pinkie into Tails's tornado. "I'll just teleport across!" Twilight yelled, vanishing before their very eyes. Tails began flying, completely forgetting about Amy. "You stupid fox!" she screamed as she jumped onto the bottom of the Tornado. Rainbow Dash shrugged and said, "What have I gotten myself into?" As she began flying away, hundreds of explosions went off and the island was in flames, with large chunks removed!

At 5:30pm in the Pumpkin Hill region, was Knuckles and the unconscious Pegasus-pony. "This place sure feels haunted... There's no time to waste! I've got to find those Master Emerald pieces!" Knuckles said as he left the pony on the ground to continue his (pointless) quest for the Master Emerald shards. About a minute later, the pony woke up to the sight of a ghost in front of a tombstone. She let out a huge scream, which made the ghost scream and jump in her face. Knuckles heard the screams and said, "Damn it!"

Chapter 11: Shadow vs. Applejack

The dark villains were in the Space Colony ARK, now having the upper hand. "That was so unexpected. So unlike you, Shadow. To come and rescue me," Rouge said as she walked up to Shadow. Shadow kept his arms folded and replied, "I didn't come to save you. I only came to save the Chaos Emeralds." Eggman walked into the room making an obnoxious sigh as he said, "Everything is ready to go." Shadow laughed and said, "We have six out of the seven emeralds. That's enough for a quick demonstration..."

Little did the villains know, the earth pony, Applejack, was warped into the ARK when the Mane 6 got sent to this universe. "What's a Chaos Emerald?" she asked herself, hiding behind a wall so that they didn't see her. Unfortunately, Shadow got a glimpse of her and got into a battle stance. "An intruder! I'll handle this! Doctor, you can go to the Eclipse Cannon, now." Eggman evilly laughed as he began making his way to the cannon. "Who are you? How did you get inside the ARK?" Shadow asked with a menacing look on his face. Applejack couldn't lie, as she WAS the Element of Honesty. And even if she COULD lie, she would somehow tell the truth within the lie! "I was just...sent here?" she said, which was technically true. Shadow grunted and exclaimed, "You take me for a fool? Ha! I know a lie when I see one!" Applejack was now confused! "If you coulda detect a lie, you would be smart 'nough to know I'm being honest. I represent the Element of Honesty!"

Shadow didn't believe a word she said. "Well guess what, I represent the Element of Death!" The two were now engaging in a battle. Shadow began to somersault into Applejack, which resulted in her being pushed into the wall. Applejack ran around Shadow and used her lasso to capture the hedgehog. Shadow however, broke through the ropes, which terrified Applejack, since Shadow is a 3-foot hedgehog (I honestly don't think him or Sonic are 3 feet). Shadow homing attacked Applejack and followed up with a kick. Applejack wasn't a weak pony though, as she charged right into Shadow and kicked him halfway across the room. "I won't lose! I plan to avenge Maria!" Shadow coldly said as he got up. "Who's Mario?" Applejack asked. Shadow took that as an insult and ran up to Applejack now with orange flames around him. Shadow yelled, "Chaos Spear!" and threw the red projectiles at Applejack, knocking her unconscious and even giving her blisters. "Now you'll answer to me the PAINFUL way!" Shadow said as he looked down at her.

Eggman easily projected himself onto all televisions around the world. "Citizens of Earth! Listen up closely! My name is Doctor Eggman, and I am the greatest scientist in the world, and may even be the greatest ruler in the world! Now watch as I destroy one of your most valued possessions!" And with that, Eggman used the Eclipse Cannon to destroy half of the moon! Flames were rising out like blood as Eggman laughed with pleasure!

Chapter 12: Suffer

WARNING: This chapter in particular contains torture and horrifying scenes, you may want to skip it if you're sensitive to any of those subjects!

Amy looked up in the sky saying, "Look! Half of the moon is missing!" Sonic growled and said, "Eggman, oh that creep just doesn't give up!" Suddenly, G.U.N. started circling the gang. "Freeze! All of you! Put your hands in the air and get on the ground!" Pinkie waved her hand to state that they were already touching the ground. Sonic looked around and said, "Tails, I'll deal with the police! You'd better find Eggman!" Suddenly, a large machine came out of the sky and in front of Sonic. It was essentially a droid full of G.U.N. agents who began exiting! "I'll just deal with them, go without me!" Twilight yelled, confident that her magic could stop the soldiers. Tails and the others left, but Sonic stayed behind. "Time to rock and roll!" he said as he began Spin Dashing into a line of soldiers.

The soldiers focused on Twilight the most though, since she was unknown to their sources, unlike Sonic. Twilight used her magic to lift the G.U.N. soldiers in the air and slam them down, crushing their spines! One soldier however managed to sneak behind Twilight and shoot her down, hoping he killed her. Twilight was weakened, but not finished! As the soldier fired the trigger again, Twilight used her magic to create a forcefield around her, reflecting to bullet! The soldier panicked for his life as he looked around for something useful, and he found something. The Spring Bonnie suit! "Haven't seen one of those since the seventies!" he yelled as he climbed into the empty suit.

He began laughing, but because of his breathing, the spring locks of the dirty suit became loose, making the endoskeleton pop into neutral position and crush the man to death! He fell to the floor with a thud, as his innards were sliced and his eyes were covered by the endoskeleton eyes! Twilight looked at the horrifying image of flesh and body fluids leak out of the crevices within the suit. The soldier's soul now took control of the animatronic suit as he began to run towards Twilight, with his eyes glowing yellow and chunks of flesh still leaking out. Twilight began running, only to trip over a defeated G.U.N. Android. She desperately tried to get up, but felt a painful sting in one of her hooves. Twilight gritted her teeth in pain and looked at her hoof to see blood, dirt, and bugs clustered up in a wound. The bugs made Twilight itch like mad, and probably got in her hoof by her fall in the grass.

Twilight's heart was racing faster than ever! Seeing insects such as velvet ants, beetles, and cockroaches pop in and out of her flesh horrified her and made her start crying. Off in the distance, Eggman's laughter could be heard. A caterpillar nibbled through the flesh and was inside Twilight's blood vessel, therefore infecting her blood cells. Twilight even saw a tick go inside of her body, but unable to get it's head out. Twilight went numb to the world as she saw a mantis crawl straight up her left nostril and work it's way into her ear, where it clawed against her eardrum. Twilight couldn't take the pain anymore as she fell to the ground, with blood pouring out of her left ear! Sonic was too busy to see or hear Twilight, and continued killing the G.U.N. soldiers. Springtrap however, was now on his way to kill the poor teenage unicorn...

Chapter 13: Knux vs. Springtrap

Sonic was too busy with the onslaught of G.U.N.'s forces to see Twilight dying. "When is any of this gonna end?!" he asked himself as he began homing attacking multiple droids. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Knuckles came out of a manhole cover saying, "Hey. Long time no see." Sonic turned around and saw Knuckles. "Why do you smell like sewage?!" he asked, pinching his nose. Knuckles sighed and said, "I just came from those Aquatic Mines. Finding the Master Emeralds is a lot more frustrating than before. And I also came across this yellow pony-like thing. Decided to drag her along with me, since the Wild Canyon was pretty hot." Knuckles fully jumped out of the hole in the ground, dragging the yellow Pegasus, Fluttershy, with him. "Now. It's time for me to find the other pieces."

Sonic gave Knuckles a thumbs up and said, "I'll meet up with Tails, you have fun on your hunt!" And with that, Sonic was off at the speed of sound, rocketing through Mission Street, which as actually a slightly more destroyed Radical Highway.

Knuckles turned around and saw Springtrap about to finish Twilight. Knuckles put his fists up and shouted, "Hey! Bunny boy!" Springtrap looked at Knuckles and set his sights on him. Knuckles jumped up in the air and performed a Drill Drive into Springtrap. Springtrap wasn't down though as he grabbed Knuckles and threw him into a lamppost. Knuckles's body vibrated with pain as he got up and began running towards Springtrap. "Let's have at it!" he yelled with anger as Springtrap began running towards Knuckles.

Fluttershy saw Twilight on the ground and gasped with fear. Twilight's heart rate was actually pretty high, going at 180. If her rate reached 200+, she would die! The Master Emerald was a good healing source that the ancients used when in trouble or when praying to the gods. Although Knuckles was too focused on Springtrap to give Fluttershy a piece of the Master Emerald. Knuckles had acrobatic skills and power, but Springtrap had smart wits and speed! Springtrap held Knuckles up and began violently choking him! Knuckles gasped for air, but Springtrap had a very tight grip on him.

Fluttershy's legs were shaking, one of her friends were currently dying, and a mechanical golden bunny was choking an echidna that needs to help save the world! "I'm gonna die... I'm gonna die..." she kept whispering to herself as she flew right into Springtrap, getting him to lose his grip on Knuckles. Knuckles, now freed, gave Fluttershy a piece of the Master Emerald. "Take this to your friend over there, don't lose that piece or else!" he said with caution, while delivering punches to Springtrap.

Fluttershy began running over to Twilight with the piece in her mouth, but was stopped by G.U.N. droids! They shocked her with their lasers, getting Fluttershy to drop the Master Emerald piece. Knuckles heard the shiny clink that the piece made and gasped. He looked at the piece, lying on the floor, just waiting to be stepped on. Knuckles began running to it, with Springtrap on his tail. Knuckles growled with anger and began glowing red, radiating heat from his body. He grabbed Fluttershy and threw her near Twilight, then grabbed the Master Emerald piece. "Maximum Heat Attack!" he shouted, releasing a wave of heat from his body. The hot temperatures fried up the android circuit boards and caused hot oil to leak through them like blood. Springtrap was fried up as well, with only the endoskeleton and dead soldier left intact, but fried like a barbeque.

Chapter 14: The Last Emerald

After the blast caused by the Eclipse Cannon, Eggman slammed down on the terminal in frustration, as his goal was to destroy the entire moon. Rouge walked in and said, "Why are you so upset? Well that was really impressive. You managed to create complete havoc on the whole planet! Does this now mean we control the Earth and can do as we choose?" Shadow also walked in, after locking Applejack in a small room. "At this rate, the cannon will take too long to charge up. If you want to unleash its full potential, you'll need ALL of the Chaos Emeralds." Eggman turned around with an angry tone in his voice. "Where have you been?!" he asked.

"Something happened?" Rouge asked as she looked at Shadow.

"I've dealt with the intruder. She's no threat to us now. And besides, our threat fell on deaf ears." Eggman sighed and said, "So let me get this straight, you're telling me that nobody cared about the fact that I have the power to wipe out the population? Or the fact that I blew up half of that wretched moon just to prove a point? Those idiots... I need that last Chaos Emerald!" Rouge held out a newspaper to Eggman and mumbled, "Try reading for once." Eggman then leaned over (like a clown) and read aloud:

Station Square saved from a life-threatening missile attack. The city has awarded its famed prize to the kid that saved Station Square. Miles "Tails" Prower was given a Chaos Emerald, as a testament of his heroic deed at a ceremony held at city hall.

Eggman then crumbled the newspaper in Rouge's face, claiming it to be impossible. "This is impossible! That newspaper must be outdated! Tails did not have any emeralds after Chaos destroyed Station Square. I know this because Sonic always acts careless and throws them-" Shadow interrupted the doctor by snapping his fingers in his face. "Doctor! If you keep nitpicking the logic of this world, we won't have time to get ANY Chaos Emeralds and you'll just be a loner who'll always get defeated by a fake hedgehog!"

Eggman groaned and cleared his throat. "Well, we'll just pay the heroes a visit and snatch the final emerald right out of their palms." Rouge shrugged her shoulders and began walking off. While walking, she turned on her radio and whispered. "This is Rouge. I have not been able to confirm that Shadow is the Ultimate Life Form. I will continue my research on Project Shadow as long as you don't forget about my jewels..." Before Shadow left, he said to himself, "Soon enough... Maria..."

It was now daytime as Sonic and the others were near a building, with the roads being busy. "Damn! First the police, and now I can barely go fast in this traffic," he said, feeling extremely ticked off. Tails locked on a monitor in his Tornado and said, "For some reason I'm not getting any sort of connection or wavelength frequency of any sort from the Chaos Emeralds. Maybe-" Pinkie rudely interrupted Tails to say, "Can you please not say words such as 'wavelength' and 'frequency'? I don't like science terms." Sonic groaned and began revving up into a Spin Dash. "Her voice is annoying! I'm gonna have to kill her, it's the law!" Unfortunately for Sonic, Knuckles came out of ANOTHER manhole cover, now with Fluttershy and a sleepy Twilight with him. "Wow! Isn't this convenient? Underground is the perfect way for me to travel," a surprised Knuckles said.

For some random reason (it is NEVER explained in the game), Amy began lifting Knuckles out and said, "Move aside, Knuckles!" Sonic pushed Amy out of the way and said, "He's not in the way of anything, Amy! Why are you and that other pink one acting completely incompetent to reality?!" Rainbow Dash instantly put her hooves in the air and cried, "Fight! Fight! Fight!" Her cheering was interrupted by Tails though, who happily exclaimed, "Yes! I hacked into the government's computer and found the transcript between the president and Eggman! I'll chase down the limo right now!" Tails converted his Tornado into its driving mode, and revved up the gas pedal.

Rainbow Dash however, being the daredevil that she is, took off yelling, "I'll find that limo before any of you can!" Sonic sighed and muttered, "Such a stupid showoff." Knuckles began running in the same direction that Rainbow Dash took off.

"Knuckles, where are you going?!" Amy asked.

Knuckles yelled back, "If I can find Eggman, there's some chance I can find that bat girl!" How Knuckles knew Rouge was with Eggman, is up to you. "That knucklehead'll get himself killed. This is something I HAVE to see!" Sonic exclaimed, taking off onto Route 101!

Chapter 15: Knuckles Gets Served

Rainbow Dash flew over the traffic, looking for the president's limo. However, she had no luck, as there were now multiple black and white limos! "Seriously?! Why does something always screw me up?!" she yelled, plucking her own mane. Knuckles was gliding from limo to limo with ease however. Until the limos went into a tunnel! Knuckles shrieked and began trying to run the other direction, only to find himself hopping on limos over and over. Sonic caught up with Knuckles, and began laughing instantly! "Forget about you getting killed! You're using those limos like some sort of treadmill!" he exclaimed, giving Knuckles a thumbs up.

Knuckles stopped running and yelled, "Sonic!" Much to his dismay however, Knuckles hit his head on the entrance to the tunnel, and was then being pulled along by the limos yelling, "THIS IS...EGGMAN!" Sonic shrugged his shoulders and ran into the tunnel to catch up with the red echidna.

Rainbow Dash still had trouble spotting the president's limo however! She watched at the exit of the tunnel as multiple limos went by. "Hairy thing, skinny thing, Rarity, skinny guy with no face-" The Pegasus then just recalled what she just said. "Oh...my...Celestia! A mime with no face!" She instantly went after the WHITE limo that belonged to Slender Man! As soon as Knuckles came out of the tunnel, with stars in his eyes, he began sensing out the president's limo. "I can feel that the president is near!" Knuckles said to himself, gliding over to the correct limo. Before he could get to it however, a large ice cream truck hit him, causing the echidna to get stuck to the front window. The driver screamed and activated his windshield wipers. Knuckles was flung back and forth against the glass, screaming like a maniac. The driver eventually flipped the truck over, causing the traffic to build up even more!

As soon as Sonic caught up with Knuckles, he let out a chuckle and said, "I guess the world is punishing you for being the worst Master Emerald guard in existence." Knuckles lifted the truck off of him and groaned in pain. "I can't be the worst because I'm the ONLY Master Emerald guard in existence! So you can't be talking!" Sonic rolled his eyes and began taking steps forward. "There's no time like the present."

Knuckles quickly piped up and said, "Hold up! There are presents?!" Sonic slapped some sense into Knuckles and calmly said, "No. Why would there be any presents? Who programmed you to say that stupid line?"

Rainbow Dash came out of Slender Man's limo and cried, "That mime just tried to RAPE me!" Sonic ignored her however, and went to the president's limo. He jumped in...to find Rarity, a unicorn, and the president of the United Federation, conversing with Doctor Eggman. "Spare me the details. Just tell me what you want Ivo Robotnik," the president said, folding his arms. Eggman was on a monitor, laughing manically. "Well, I know that you're a busy guy, so I won't bore you with my ingenious details! I simply want you to surrender to the Eggman Empire without further resistance or else you can kiss your beautiful country good-bye!"

Sonic shouted, "No way!" as he slipped a tracking device into the monitor's terminal. Eggman's image went blurry, displaying feeds of horrible static. "Don't worry, everything is under control Mr. President!" Sonic said to calm the president down. Sonic then pulled the tracking device out and...realized it had been converted into a PSP UMD! Before leaving however, he took a glance at Rarity. Sonic didn't feel like reasoning, so he simply grabbed the unicorn and threw her out the window, while the hedgehog jumped out through the sunroof. "Hey, you, wait!" the President cried, before being contacted by his secretary. "Mister President, we're receiving an incoming signal from our agent!"

Chapter 16: Sky Rail and Hidden Base

NOTE: I REALLY F*cking hate Hidden Base! It's an awful level!

"Shadow, they're in that blue plane, spotted at eleven o'clock." Rouge had contacted Shadow, giving him the whereabouts of Sonic and the gang, as they were currently headed to Eggman's Hidden Base. "Hmph. Copy that. I'm in pursuit," Shadow replied as he dropped down into the Sky Rail.

Sky Rail was essentially the sister location of Pumpkin Hill. It was really the same thing, only with lots of train tracks. Shadow began grinding down a rail at high speeds, crouching to speed up even more. When he reached the end of the rail, Shadow jumped off and did a trick in the air. He then landed on the platform below and approached the Bounce Spinner. "Pathetic excuse for equipment," Shadow said as he began homing attacking the Bounce Spinner, getting him to rise higher. When he reached the platform above, Shadow grabbed onto a portable rocket and launched himself onto a grind rail!

As soon as his Hover Shoes made contact with the downhill rail, Shadow went faster and faster as he constantly hopped from rail to rails. Shockingly, as Shadow tried to switch to another rail, the wind pushed him in the other direction, knocking him off the rail. Shadow began falling down below...until landing on Omochao, who was currently flying to Sky Rail (he's F*CKING everywhere in the game). Omochao flew Shadow onto a small platform with a spring. "Out of my way you ugly tutorial messenger!" Shadow yelled as he ripped Omochao's head from his body and continued his way through the mountainous region.

Eggman had already went into his Hidden Base via the teleporter, and got to work resurrecting the Egg Golem using electrical wires and batteries. "Ha ha ha ha ha! Rise my ancient servant!" Eggman shouted as he watched the Egg Golem raise up. Unfortunately, Egg Golem hadn't taken kind to his new master and tried to chop Eggman in half. Eggman was currently in his mech at this point, so it was the mech that ended up taking damage. "You disrespectful bastard! Don't you know that I am your master?!" Eggman asked with fury, calming down once he saw three panels on Egg Golem. Panels that had ancient writings on them, which made the Egg Golem keep out evil forces. "Looks like I've got a bit of constructing to do..." Eggman whispered to himself as he shot one panel off, getting the Egg Golem to rage and smash the platform.

Eggman quickly jumped to the next and began running in an attempt to get to the Egg Golem's front. He took another shot at the ancient being, and managed to take down another panel. "One more and you'll be under my control!" Egg Golem smashed Eggman with his hand, and tried to throw him into the quicksand below! "No!" Eggman yelled as he began hovering to a rising elevator. He made it onto the platform and shot the Egg Golem's final panel off! "Now you obey ME!" Eggman cheered as he began playing his theme song.

Sonic and the gang were currently outside of Eggman's Hidden Base. "He's inside that pyramid?" Sonic asked, looking off at the Egyptian structure. "I saw Eggman go inside the pyramid. But more importantly, I saw that bat-girl go inside with him as well," Knuckles said raising his fists in the air. Amy took a good glance at Knuckles and asked, "When did you ever see Eggman enter? I thought you were underground this entire time." Tails interrupted Amy and exclaimed, "I'll go find the exit!" He then took off running in his mech.

When Tails reached the entrance of Hidden Base, he jaw nearly hit the ground. Hidden Base USED to be a simple desert security area, but now it had several traps, small platforms, neon signs that read, "I AM THE E.G.G.M.A.N!*", and even deadly Egg Pawns wearing Arabian clothing. " I guess Eggman really thought this through. It doesn't even look like Sonic can make it through here..."

There was a platform in front of Tails with dynamite attached to it. Tails blew it up and continued through the Hidden Base. A Egg Pawn saw Tails and began firing at him with ridiculous orange and red guns. Tails's mech took very little damage from the pellets, as he jumped down to be confronted with more Egg Pawns. Tails shot the Egg Pawns and used his hover module to "glide" over the ocean of quicksand and onto another square platform.

Knuckles was keeping track of how long Tails was in Hidden Base. So far it had been two minutes. "I bet he's dead. Tails should be dead." Twilight took a look at Knuckles and said, "How could you say something like that?!" Knuckles sighed and leaned back, unaware that he was about to fall into freaking quicksand! "Apparently he's died several times in Sonic's 3rd adventure I heard (Sonic 1, Sonic CD, Sonic 2). Yet magically came back to life, almost as if he were invincible..." Sonic groaned and smacked Knuckles into reality. "Tails only came back to life because I had to CONSTANTLY inject adrenaline and water into his body. With the amount of times he died in Chemical Plant and Wing Fortress, he SHOULD be dead!"

Knuckles began chuckling to himself, until falling into the quicksand! "Sonic!" he screamed, trying desperately to resurface. Sonic took a few seconds to think about before saying, "Okay, YOU girls go save him. It'll make him look pathetic. I'M going with Tails!" Sonic then began running to Tails's location. "Which one of us is supposed to save him first?" Pinkie asked, unaware that it didn't matter who saved Knuckles from drowning.

*Listen to E.G.G.M.A.N., it's the best character theme in the game! It's the only song that makes the word Eggman sound awesome.

Chapter 17: You've Reached My Pyramid Cave

NOTE: Sorry for taking long, but I had multiple EOCs.

After clearing the entrance to inside the pyramid, Sonic decided to go on through the 'Cave' section of the base. "Tails, go tell Knuckles to enter Eggman's chamber and find the keys. I'll at least clear out the E-series robots!" Sonic took off dashing, as Tails contacted Knuckles through a walkie talkie. Knuckles was sweating as the sand was sticking to his body. "Just wait until the glue dries up and we'll rip the sand right off of you!" Pinkie exclaimed, holding a bottle of Crazy Glue in her mouth. Knuckles groaned and said, "Why didn't you guys just WIPE the sand off of me?" Rainbow Dash put a smile on her face as she proudly stated, "Mr. Sonic the Hedgehog or Porcupine told us to make you look pathetic. You look like a torn-up teddy bear!" Knuckles began swinging his fist back, before hearing the vibration of the walkie talkie in his dreadlocks. He pulled the device out and said, "Repeat that, Tails."

After explaining himself, Tails disconnected from Knuckles and went marching slowly through the beginning of the Pyramid Cave. Knuckles smirked as he said, "All right. I guess I'll get steal some of that Eggman's precious jewels along the way!" Before Knuckles could take off gliding however, Rarity shoved Knuckles off the edge of the platform, forcing him to cling onto another. "Hey missy! What's the big idea?!" Rarity jumped to the platform in front of her and said, "You said that there were jewels in there. So it'd only be more appropriate if I got some." Knuckles performed a Spiral Upper onto the platform and threw a large punch at Rarity, sending her into Fluttershy.

"Looking for valuable objects is what I do! And didn't you mention that you represent GENEROSITY? Keeping jewels for yourself seems pretty selfish if you ask me!"

Knuckles took a leap in the air and began gliding through Hidden Base. "Fluttershy! Fly me over there!" Rarity demanded, getting impatient. Fluttershy, who was in pain, opened an eye at Rarity, confused. Rarity took matter into her own hooves as she sat directly on Fluttershy and kicked her, getting Fluttershy to fly as if she were some kind of airplane. "I'd better stop them before Rarity ends up choking the poor mare," Rainbow Dash sighed as she flew towards Rarity and Fluttershy.

Sonic dropped down in a tunnel with multiple hoops on the walls. "Worst defense system ever, Eggman!" Sonic shouted as he began revving up into a Spin Dash. Within three seconds, Sonic took off jumping through each hoop chanting, "Nice, cool, tight, awesome, and extreme! The five words that define me!" He then eventually made it to an hourglass door. "It's Sandopolis all over again!" Sonic groaned as he flipped the hourglass and somersaulted underneath the door. Sonic bounced up against a spring and got onto a higher platform, where two E-series robots aimed their thermal lasers at the blue hedgehog. Sonic homing attacked one of them, but was zapped by the other. When Sonic got back on his feet, he spin kicked the robot, making its bolts, screws, and oil fall out. "Heh. Guess you won't be making robot love anytime soon." Sonic teased, dashing away as the robot made digitized groaning noises.

Sonic eventually came across a door that required a white weight to be placed on a pedestal. "This is why I can't stand my own fanbase! Why did Sonic Team design Eggman's base? Why is City Escape advertising them? What's my next adventure gonna be like?" Sonic quickly ended his monolog as he threw the weight onto the pedestal and went through the door. Then Sonic entered a long-as-f*ck room with multiple doors, rails, random weights, and a pedestal. Sonic sighed as he slowly approached a E-series robot. "Here. Please cap me as hard as you can. Or better yet predict my future." The E-series robot slowly replied, "In the distant future, a spinoff company will use you to be in a video game. It will be called Sonic Boom, and it will be the lowest received game in the history of forever." Sonic felt the horror in his body as he asked, "Are they gonna redesign my-" The robot then ended up self-destructing right in Sonic's face.

Chapter 18: Egg Chamber

NOTE: I really hate this level! This level can screw itself! It's just a carbon copy of Egg Quarters, but with a more complicate design.

After making it to the end of the bullcrap Pyramid Cave. Knuckles ran in right after Sonic, reaching Eggman's Death Chamber. "This chamber is so hot. Eggman must've gotten way too into the whole Egypt theme," Knuckles said to himself as he dropped down into the Death Chamber and began his search for the keys. "Good luck down there, Knuckles." Sonic said, unaware that the area was called Death Chamber for a reason.

Rarity had tired Fluttershy out, with Flutershy panting and having her wings in pain. "Thank you, Fluttershy. I'll take it from here," Rarity said, walking to the hole that lead into Egg Quarters, rather than the Death Chamber. "You're welcome..." Fluttershy groaned as she passed out.

Knuckles was in the metallic hallway between the red and green rooms, feeling a slight signal from the key. "Better ask the monitors." Knuckles went up to a floating monitor that just replied, "The room with no entrance." Knuckles groaned as that message made NO sense whatsoever. "Tikal was so much better than these machines." Knuckles then began running around, unaware that he had to dig into the ancient carving to get to the room with no true entrance.

Rarity was busy avoiding the Security Beetles that roamed the Egg Quarters. Why Egg Quarters and Death Chamber are basically the same, nobody knows. "This place is ridiculously irritating!" Rarity yelled, with one key in her possession. Suddenly, a Security Beetle approached her from behind and sirens began wailing. Rarity yelped at the sound and was greeted with six lasers zapping her, causing the Beetle to return the key to its previous location. "Oh come on!" Rarity whined as this meant she would have to swim in the Egg Fish Chamber (the blue room) again! "This place is so large and bland! Just give me the keys!"

Eggman was currently programming his Egg Golem to be a match for Sonic's speed. "Increase the speed factor by 20 miles per hour, yes. Now disable the platforms so that Sonic can't jump to the top..." The Egg Golem was now covered in metal and had several wires engraved into its skull. "Perfect, now all I have to do is sit back and wait!" Eggman exclaimed while getting into his mech. He simply waited for someone to reach his location so he could finish them.

Chapter 19: Truly Deadly Chamber

Knuckles grabbed the last key from within a secret room and screamed , "Damn this chamber!" He then proceeded to climb his way to the top of the Death Chamber, only to realize that he went ABOVE the locked door! Knuckles was currently in the core electricity pump of the Death Chamber, where he heard creepy moaning from behind.

"Huh? Who's there?!"

Shockingly, a giant ghost with rainbow colored eyes and a rainbow colored tongue was hovering behind him. "Oh my God, he ate that poor rainbow pony!" Knuckles said trying not to move. After a minute later, the ghost began opening its mouth and chasing Knuckles. Knuckles began running away screaming at the top of his lungs, while the ghost spat fireballs out of his mouth.

The ghost then began vomiting flames, which caused Knuckles to stop and turn around. He saw a smaller ghost carrying an hourglass for no reason, so he did what he does best. He punched it. The hourglass broke, causing the Death Chamber's airlock doors to open up, letting in warm sunlight. Which in the Death Chamber, meant over 200°F temperatures! The ghost fled into the ground to hide, but its shadow could still be seen. Knuckles dug into the ground to yank the ghost back out, and it worked perfectly. The ghost screamed and ran across the area four times before Knuckles punched it. "Gotcha!" He then held the ghost up to the light to finish the job.

The ghost was sent back in the ground by the light, but Knuckles was quite literally having a stroke through to all of the heat. "What a hassle..." Knuckles sighed, panting on the floor.

The electricity pump began bursting open as the heat melted the wires, causing the sticky substance to drain the electricity, and clog up the ventilation for the entire pyramid! The airlock doors immediately closed as there was no electricity to power them. All the lights went out, with the Death Chamber very dimly lit by some torches. Knuckles screamed as black melted wires at 447°F began coming his way. He dug down into the ground, reappearing at the locked door. "...That was very rough..."

Eggman was burning up as he groaned, "Aah! What's going on?! What happened to the air supply..?" He angrily brought out his maintenance panel and looked up the Death Chamber cameras. When he saw that the electricity pump was done for, Eggman screamed and muttered, "Must get to the ARK! I'll just let them suffocate in this pyramid."
