Chapter 3

"Fluttershy," Rainbow Dash began. "How in the world do I tell Soarin? I don't even have any symptoms! I mean like last week I had really bad food poisoning, but tell me everyone didn't feel queasy after eating one of Sweetie Belle's attempts at baking, I mean they tasted good but they didn't sit easy. Her heart is in the right place, but her skills aren't. " Fluttershy chuckled, she knew that the "food poisoning" that Rainbow Dash had was one of the first signs of pregnancy, morning sickness, nausea, and vomiting. Luckily for Rainbow Dash, Soarin wasn't very suspicious when rainbow got sick. Soarin had 3 of Sweetie Belle's cupcakes, and he had a lot of bathroom time.

"Rainbow, that 'food poisoning' you had, it was actually the first sign of pregnancy, morning sickness, nausea, and vomiting. But, those cupcakes didn't help." Fluttershy explained. Rainbow Dash thought long and hard about the "food poisoning". It was worse than anything she had ever experienced, and did last for 3-4 days but, only Celestia knew what was in those cupcakes. But Rainbow had to believe Fluttershy, after all, she was an expert on these things.

*Flashback*

Rainbow Dash was sitting on the couch next to Soarin who had his wring around her and was stroking her Maine, they were looking at a catalog that had wedding tablecloth designs in it. Rainbow decided that if she was going to have a "big day" at all she might as well make it awesome, like her. Every detail had to be perfect. Soarin was flipping his page with his hoof when Rainbow began to experience a slight pang of nausea. She excused herself and went upstairs to the bathroom that had a stomach remedy that Twilight had created. Twilight was hoping to make something to help Spike, who decided to run away and eat 8 tubs of ice cream. The remedy always worked, of course it did, it was made by Twilight. She opened the over the sink mirror surrounded by gold dipped clouds and looked at the shelves full of remedies and hygiene items that were sitting on top of 3 sturdy cloud shelves. She grabbed the clear bottle from the 2nd shelf and put it on the counter in front of her. She pulled out the cork to the bottle and grabbed a small dosing cup and measured out the correct amount of 2 tsp. She knew that while Twilight was good with effectiveness, Twilight didn't really care for taste. She grabbed the cup and took it like a shot with the knowledge that as well as it works for removing stomach pain, it makes you really drowsy. She made her way back down stairs and over to the couch. Soarin welcomed her back into his wings and she snuggled up next to him. Before she knew it she was fast asleep, unfortunately that was the best sleep she had for 4 days after that. When she work up she had to sprint to the bathroom and once it started, it didn't stop. Soarin rushed upstairs when he heard the distress in the bathroom, and he held her mane back and comforted her all the way through it.

*End Flashback*

"But what if he doesn't want to be a father?" Rainbow asked again.

"I'm sure he will want to, he loves kids." Fluttershy responded. Rainbow thought of after a show when they were walking back stage and a small homeless filly ran up to him and asked for an autograph, he refused the autograph and instead he gave the filly a signed new apartment. He hated seeing children suffer, and with all of the money he had, he could do plenty good with it. Rainbow thought about the date they had set up for later tonight. I have to break the news then, I know he wants it, he loves kids! But a voice in the back of her head chanted, "He will never want to have kids, ever."

Author's Note: Wow that was long, I don't know why I made this chapter be particularly longer but I want to know if you guys like it longer but it will take longer to publish, so give me your opinions!
