Anyway, here's a fun, yet randomless little drabble between my favorites, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. Enjoy!
Both Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle were walking around the streets of Ponyville wearing what seemed to be a piece of broccoli and a stick of butter. Rainbow of course was dressed up as a giant piece of Broccoli while Twilight became the huge stick of butter. This was way humiliating for Rainbow Dash, since the rest of the ponyfolk started laughing at her for apparently no reason. Of course, it didn't have any effect on Twilight, since she was smiling.
They were volunteered by Miss Cheerilee do put on a play for the fillies down at the school, explaining the four food groups. Rainbow wasn't thrilled because she thought the play was just for little babies, even though the rest of the schoolponies were nothing but 10 years old and such. She would rather fly around the skies than to put on some crummy play. But Twilight promised to buy her dinner if Rainbow Dash had promised to do this for the little ponies. So much for having to get free food for this favor.
"I can't believe I have to do this..." Rainbow Dash muttered under her breath.
"Oh, come on Rainbow, it's not that bad." Twily replied. "Look at it this way. You only have to be there for only 20 minutes, and after this, we'll get something to eat. Sound good?"
"I better get something to eat..." Dashie growled.
"Not with that attitude, you won't." Twilight smirked, "Just smile for the audience, try to remember your lines and it'll be alright."
"Yeah yeah, whatever." Dashie spoke sarcastically.
Having to ignore her sassiness, Twilight continued walking. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash looked at Twilight's costume out of curiosity.
"Um, Twilight?" Rainbow said, raising her eyebrow.
"Yes, Rainbow?" Twilight replied.
"Who are you supposed to be?" She asked.
"Oh, I'm fat." Twilight answered.
"No, I meant in the play." Rainbow smirked.
And just like that...
POOOOOOW!
Twilight struck a nerve, hitting Rainbow Dash right in the face! In response, this also sent Twilight in an umbrage, looking at the rest of the now-scared ponyfolk. She couldn't believe that Rainbow Dash insulted her like that!
"ANYONE ELSE WANNA SAY IT NOW?!" Twilight shouted at the ponyfolk, who all ran away from her.
After they left, Twilight looked down at Rainbow Dash, who was still unconscious.
"I changed my mind, you're buying dinner, not me." She said right down to Rainbow.
Just like that, Twilight began walking farther away from her friend. Seconds later, Rainbow looked right at Twilight while she was rubbing the black eye that she suffered from her.
"Ugh, why can't Twily ever take a joke?" Rainbow sighed. "It was just one harmless fat joke. I'm certain she'd be used to it now..."
Unfortunately, Rainbow found out first-hand to always choose your words carefully. She should've learned that from the get-go.
I apologize for such writer's block, but I couldn't find anything to write about for today, so I had to make something up for the last minute. Please don't hate me for this, but I hope you'll like this story, even though it lacked a little hilarity.
