Chapter 1: New Start

Diana's POV

I was in the library doing my studies, until a magical letter appeared right in front of me. I opened the letter and my eyes shine in amazement, it was a letter from Princess Celestia!

There is more in life in a young pony's life than studying, so I'm sending you to ponyville to attend in Princess Twilight's birthday party start a new life and a mission for you to do, while your there make some new friends.

"Friends?"I wondered, I didn't know that much about Ponyville and friendship, I guess this could be the opportunity for me start a new life and who knows maybe some adventures a long the way.

I packed my stuff and put it on my bag. Then outside my window I spotted a train that was beginning to head its way to Ponyville, but luckily I managed to catch it in time. I watched outside my window to look at Canterlot one more time, before I can no longer see it.

I wonder if I'll see any familiar faces, when I'm there and I hope every pony will like me, when I come.

Once the train stop, I got out and I was so amazed about the appearance of Ponyville there was so many ponies going around and the town looked so peaceful.

"Hello!"

I turned around and saw a pink pony with curly pink mane. "Ummm...hi"I said.

"You must be new here, I'm Pinkie Pie!"The pony said with a smile.

"Nice to meet pinkie pie, I'm Diana Rose."I said and smiled.

"Hey Diana are you here for Princess Twilight's birthday party?"Pinkie asked.

"I'm sure am."I said.

"Great! Let me show you around!" Pinkie said happily.

As I followed Pinkie, I felt special feeling about her. "Strange. "I thought.

"And this is where my best-est friend Twilight Sparkle lives!"Pinkie Said.

Twilight's house was the library that Pinkie Pie was mentioning, during the tour, her house sort of look like a tree house, but that was cool.

"It's ok, if we visit her?"I asked.

"Of course!"Said Pinkie Pie.

I followed Pinkie Pie straight inside Twilight house and I was so amazed to see lots of spell books that I can use to do my studies and learn more about Equestria and everything.

"Hi Pinkie Pie."

"Hi Twilight!"

"Who is this pony next to you?"Asked Twilight.

"This is Diana, she's new around here."Said Pinkie Pie.

"Its nice to meet you, your highness."I said.

"It's nice to meet you too Diana, but call me Twilight."Twilight Said.

Then a purple baby dragon appeared behind Twilight.

"Who is this little guy?"I asked.

"I'm Spike, Twilight's assistant and you must be Diana."The little dragon Said.

"That's right."I said and nodded.

"By the way, do you have your own house Diana?"Pinkie asked.

"I'm afraid not."I said with sad sigh.

"I know! Why don't stay and live with Twilight and Spike?"Said Pinkie.

"That's a great idea, pinkie."Said Twilight.

"Sure."I said, then my tummy rumbled.

"How about we eat in my place? I heard Mrs Cake is selling lots of cakes and pastries today."Said Pinkie Pie.

"Ok."I said.

As we walked our away to the Sugarcube Corner, I felt a very special feeling about Twilight.

"Weird, I feel the same force in Twilight just like Pinkie Pie."I thought.

"So Diana are you from Canterlot?"Asked Spike.

"Yeap, I one of Princess Celestia's star students."I said.

"No way, I'm one of Celestia's star student too."Said Twilight.

"That's so cool."I said.

"Diana, what do you like doing?"Asked Pinkie Pie.

"I like studying and reading, but the most favourite things I like to do is baking and going on adventures."I said.

"Wow! So your adventurous."Said Pinkie pie and i nodded.

When we finally arrived to sugarcube cornert, it was packed with so many ponies.

"That's sort of a large line."I said.

"Don't worry Diana, I work here, so we can past the line."Said Pinkie Pie.

As we went inside the cafe there was lots of ponies sitting around.

"Hi Miss Cake."Said Pinkie Pie.

"Who's the new pony?"Asked Mrs Cupcake.

"Hi I'm Diana rose, but you can call me Diana."I said.

"Nice to meet you Diana, are you hungry?"Asked Mrs Cake and I nodded.

"What do you four dears would like?"Asked Mrs Cake.

"I would like a chocolate short cake, please."I said.

"I would like a strawberry cake."Said Pinkie Pie.

"I would like a fruit tart and for spike a caramel cupcake."Said Twilight.

"Hey guys!"

We turned around and saw four ponies. One was an orange earth pony with a yellow pony and tail with red bands, green eyes, freckles, a cutie mark of three red apples and a cowboy hat asked. The second was a yellow pegasus with a long pink mane and tail, blue-green eyes and a cutie mark of three pink-winged butterflies.

The third pony was a light blue pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail, magenta eyes and a cutie mark of a cloud and a tri-coloured lightning bolt. The forth pony was a white unicorn with a coiffed purple mane and tail, blue eyes and a cutie mark of three diamonds.

"Oh hi guys."Said Twilight.

"Who's the new pony next to you?"Asked the orange earth pony.

"I'm Diana Rose, I'm new here."Said Diana.

"Nice to meet you Diana, I'm Applejack."

"I'm Rarity."

"I'm RainbowDash."

"I'm Fluttershy."

"Nice to meet you all."I said.

Then there was this feeling again I felt a very special feeling about these ponies its like they have a magical power inside their hearts...

Chapter 2: Party Crashed

After having desserts with her new friends, Diana and the mane 6 decided to go to the day spa to fresh themselves up before Twilight's birthday party started.

"I simply can't wait for us to celebrate your birthday, Twilight."Said Diana brushing her hair.

"Thx Diana, but more important that we celebrate it together."Said Twilight.

"I can't wait to dance around and eat lots of tasty treats!"Said Pinkie pie.

"Yeah, we will busy having lots of fun."Said Rainbowdash.

"And laughter."Said Fluttershy.

"And I got the perfect gowns for us to wear in the party."Said Rarity.

"Thats great!"Said Diana.

"I might sell also my apple treats, during the party."Said Applejack.

"After the party, we can go and check out some shooting stars thats going to happen to night."Said Spike.

"I bet tonight will be the best birthday party, I'll ever have and this time will celebrate with you, Diana."Said Twilight.

"Aww thx, Twilight that's so sweet."Said Diana and together they did a group hug, along with Spike.

Later that afternoon before the party, Diana read a book about the past of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two regal sisters who ruled together, and created harmony for all the land. To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night. Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of ponies. But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful. The ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day, the younger unicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young one's heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon. The elder sister took on responsibility...

"...for both sun and moon..."Diana finished.

Then a flashback went inside her mind.

"Don't be scared my child , I'll always protect"

"Mama don't! leave me!"Cried Diana.

~Flash back ends~

"Mother..."Thought Diana and dried her tears.

Twlight was looking at a book to read, then 'The Reference Guide Book about the Elements Of Harmony' began to shine very brightly, Twilight covered her eyes from getting blinded. Once it stopped shining it ladded safely on the table. Twilight used her alicorn magic to open the book and she was surprised to find new information in it.

"There are six Elements of Harmony, they are known: Magic, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty and Loyalty. However there is a seventh element that is unknown and a complete mystery. It is said, that only the heart of the rose shall reveal the seventh element."

"The heart of the rose, I wonder what does that mean?"Wondered Twilight.

"Hey Twilight watcha reading?"Asked Spike.

"Spike look at this, it says that there is a seventh element."Said Twilight.

"But thats crazy, how can there be a seventh element, when it was never mentioned before."Said Spike.

"I don't know Spike, it's a complete mystery."Said Twilight.

Later that night everypony were ready for Princess Twilight's birthday. There was lots of music and dancing, even party games.

"Where's Diana? She supposed to be here by now."Said Pinkie Pie.

"Don't worry, I'm sure she'll show up."Said Applejack.

"Hi guys."

The five ponies eyes sparkled in amazed of the appearance of Diana, her mane had a curly style and she wore a light red dress with pretty bows and a rose on her mane.

"Wow Diana, you look simply perfect."Said Rarity.

"Thank you Rarity, you too."Said Diana.

Then the pony guards blow the trumpets.

"Presenting the Princess of Friendship Twilight Sparkle!"

The red curtains opened and it revealed Twilight. Her hair was long a bit curly, she wore a pink dress that had yellow bows and she wore a yellow crown that matched her dress.

"Twilight you look awsome."Said Rainbowdash.

"And very lovely."Said Fluttershy.

"Thank you, all of you do."Said Twilight looking at all her friends.

Suddenly the door and windows burst open with force.

All the ponies gasped, so did Diana and her friends.

A stong dark tornado circled around everyone and then it misteriously disappeared.

Diana heard all the ponies chattering quietly and nervously around them.

"Well that was weird."Said Diana. "Is everybody ok?"

"Ouch, my head."Said Rainbowdash rubbing her head.

"Ooh my eyes are dizzy."Said Pinkie Pie.

"That was quite spooky."Said Fluttershy.

"Don't know, what was the crazy tornado about."Said Applejack.

"What kinda tornado comes all this way for?"Asked Rarity. "Its seemly unpleasant."

"What ever it was its gone now."Said Spike.

"Remain calm, everypony, there must be a reasonable explanation!"Said the major.

"Hey guys, I found Twilight's crown, is she hiding? "Said Pinkie Pie.

"Wait minute if thats her crown, where's Twilight?"Asked Spike nervously.

"She's gone!"Said Rarity and all the ponies gasped in horror.

Then they heard evil laughing, but they did know who it was.

"HAHAHA! YOU PONIES WILL NEVER SEE YOUR PRECIOUS PRINCESS TWILIGHT FOREVER! HAHAHA!"

The dark mist appeared at the top of them and burst out of the door.

All the ponies run out panicking, Spike was on Diana's back shivering nervously.

"Come back here!"Said Rainbowdash as she flied out, but he was already gone.

"Never again see Twilight? Forever? "She said nervously.

Chapter 3: Call for help

"We gotta save Twilight!"Said Spike freaking out and went back to sleep.

"You've been up all night Spike, you are a baby dragon afterall."Said Diana as she put a blanket preventing from getting cold. She put off the light and started looking for information about what happened in the party.

"This is hopeless! How can I save Twilight without any information about the new enemy?!"Diana as she looked on every books page.

"Hey Diana found any information? "Asked Applejack as she and the other four ponies came in.

"Guys, I searched every book and still couldn't find any information about the new enemy."Said Diana with a sad face.

Then a magical light spark appear in front of them and it revealed Princess Celestia.

"Princess Celestia, thank goodness your here."Said Diana with joy.

"I heard what happened and I'm afraid we're facing a new enemy."Said Princess Celestia.

"New Enemy!"Said the five ponies with shock.

"This enemy is more stronger, then the ones that Twilight has ever faced."Said Princess Celestia.

"So how are going to save Twilight from this new enemy?"Asked Rarity.

"Yeah, if the enemy put a hoove on Twilight, we'll teach him a lesson,he'll never forget!"Said RainbowDash.

"I hope Twilight it's ok."Said Fluttershy.

"Hope so too."Said Pinkie Pie.

Then a mirror appeared behind Princess Celestia.

"What's that?"Asked Diana.

"This is no ordinary mirror. It is a gateway to another world. A gateway that opens once every thirty has always been kept in the throne room of Canterlot Castle."Said Princess Celestia.

"But when Princess Cadance took over the Crystal Empire, we sent it here for her to watch over."

"I remember that mirror, it's where Twilight and Spike went to the mirror to get back her crown from Sunset Shimmer."Said Applejack.

"Did you just say Sunset Shimmer? "Said Diana.

"Yeah, why?"Asked Applejack.

"Its just Sunset Shimmer was...an old childhood friend of mine."Said Diana.

"What?!"

"Sunset Shimmer and I were very close, when were just little ponies and we did everything together. But when we grown up, she did not get what she wanted as quickly as she liked, she turned cruel and dishonest. I tried to help her, but she eventually decided to abandon her studies and leave Equestria to go to another world with this mirror."

"Afterwards I never saw her ever again."Said Diana with a sad sigh.

"Don't worry darling, Twilight says she changed."Said Rarity.

"Thx for telling me, Rarity."Said Diana, before walking up to the mirror.

"Diana you must go to the other world and get SunsetShimmer."Said Princess Celestia.

"What? How come?"Asked Diana.

"I know she can help."Said Celestia. Diana took a deep breath and started walking to the mirror. The she turned to her friends.

"Aren't you guys coming?"She asked.

"There are another us in that world, so it would be confusing if it had two of us there."Said RainbowDash.

"Ok see you guys in other side."Said Diana and went inside the mirror.

"Diana wait up!"Shouted Spike and went after her.

"Huh? Spike! You're not supposed to– Spike? Are you a... dog?"Diana rubbed her eyes, Spike has been turned into a dog!

"I'm sure am. But you are no longer a pony."Said Spike.

"Huh?"Wondered Diana, she looked at her hooves, but she noticed that she had hands now and she started to scream!

"Diana, you have to get it together!"Said Spike.

"What... does the rest of me look like?!"She asked nervously.

"Um, like you. Only not you. Your muzzle's really small.

"My muzzle?!"Diana freaked out and started panicking.

"Are you gonna scream again?"Said Spike.

"Where are we?"Asked Diana.

"Welcome to Canterlot High."Said Spike.

"Whooaaa."Said Diana looking at the school.

"C'mon, Spike. I do not wanna be like this for longer than I have to. Lets just find the others and SunsetShimmer."Said Diana, she tried to use her magic, but nothing happened.

"Hmm! My magic! It isn't working!"

"By the way you don't exactly have your horn."Said Spike

"What?!"

"We really need to find you a mirror."Said Spike.

Diana tried to stand up, but she fell off.

"And help you walk."He added.

Meanwhile Twilight woke up from her dizzy state, she didn't know where she was and when she fluttered her eyes open she realized she was in a cage.

"Where am I?"She Asked.

"Hello princess."

"Who are you? And whoever you are you won't get away with this!"Said Twilight in anger and then she heard an evil laughter.

"My friends will rescue me!"

"Oh really?" Twilight felt a smirk grew on his face.

Then a Changeling appeared and it transformed into Twilight.

"Oh please! My friends will easily know the difference."Muttered Twilight.

"But weren't finished yet princess."Said The voice.

Then a pink ring went on Twilight's head and also on the fake Twilight, then the two rings disappeared.

"Hi I'm Twilight Sparkle Princess of Friendship and Celestia's star student."Said The fake Twilight and gave an evil smirk on Twilight.

Twilight gasped in horror. The ring that was the fake's head has given it the power to have her personality and her memories.

Even worse how will her friends will figure it out the difference and find out they were going to rescue a fake?
