Hey guys, so if you haven't picked up in my second chapter of Witches Portal y'all should know that I am now a Brony. The show has given me so much inspiration that I just had to start coming up with a story to write. And the movie has given me a bigger vision for my story. So hope you enjoy the prologue, it's a bit short but future chapters will be longer.

Over 1,000 years before the Princess Twilight Sparkle's first arrival in Ponyville, Equastria used to be a little bit of a different place.

Before Princess Celestia and Princess Luna took rule over the land, it was ruled by King Shield Fury. (AN: Not one of best names I came up with but I was watching Avengers and I had trouble trying to think of name so I based it off Shield and Nick Fury) A fair, kind, and compassionate ruler and loved by his people and his daughters deeply.

The entire land was at peace within and with its closest and most faithful ally, Equus Ferustria. A land which its population is mostly made up of horses unlike Equastria which is has a population of mostly ponies.

One day, the King of Equastria went out on a walk through his lands leaving his two daughters, Celestia and Luna, in charge of Canterlot, the capital of Equstria.

While on the walk, his group was ambushed in the Everfree Forrest.

His guards tried to fight off the attackers, but they were overwhelmed. The King was killed in the attack.

A survivor reported that the attackers were horses that bore the royal crest of Equus Ferustria.

All of Equastria was shocked that their own King was murdered by their most trusted ally.

Feeling betrayed, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna both agreed that the King of Ferustria, King Iron Maine, deserved to pay for his actions.

However the King claimed that he never ordered any of his men to attack King Shield Fury.

But the two Princesses didn't believe him, they thought that if their most trusted ally could betray them, whatever they said to them was not worth believing.

Instead they declare war of Equus Ferustria.

The war is fought for nearly 25 years with no advances made by either side. The only advances made are in the body counts of Equastria's Ponies and Ferustria's Horses.

After long years of bloody fighting both sides request an immediate Cease Fire.

The war doesn't end but the two sides are finally able to relax

The tensions between the two nations still exist and peace seems to be nowhere in sight.

It almost seems impossible that these two nations, even now with a new member in the princess trio of Equastria, will ever make peace.

Again, future chapters will be longer. Hope y'all liked it, I might have misspelled a few things but I don't know. Now this is my first fan fiction apart from any Frozen fan factions, so I might be a bit off on the characterization but I have watched a lot of MLP to try and get the characters right.
