"It looks like Silver takes the lead as Rainbow Dash and Applejack try to take him up on his challenge annnnnd oh it's too close to tell who won the race so let's look at the video footage to see who got it for first". Rainbow Dash and Applejack looks at the screen and silver just sits at the café to talk to pinkie.

The footage shows Silver with a clear lead but then Applejack and rainbow come out of nowhere tying for first with Silver. Rainbow Dash just gasp while Applejack is jumping around and silver just continue to talk to Pinkie about what his cutie mark means. Rainbow walks over to silver "-courage and honor it also—uhh yes rainbow." Rainbow looks at him and says "How in equestria did you run that fast I mean Applejack runs an entire farm but how did you even compete with us?"

"Ahh but wouldn't answering that ruin the fun in seeing you try to figure that out?" Rainbow starts to look at him with anger and Silver just sits there still with a smirk on his face. Rainbow fly's off and Silver counts down from three before Rainbow yells and Silver snickers to himself.

"Hey Silver what are you going to do for your break" Pinkie ask with a big smile. "Well I was going to work today but I think I might try to make some friends I mean the only friend I have is you and maybe Bronze". What about Fluttershy, Rarity, and the others?" Pinkie ask. "Well Applejack is my boss more than a friend I think Rainbow now hates me Twilight more of a teacher last I saw of rarity she altered my cloths and Fluttershy well to be honest I don't remember last I saw of her". Well I know every pony in ponyville I'm sure I can help you make some friends." Pinkie says with a gleeful smile on her face.

Maybe later Pinkie I got to meet up with someone". "Ohh a new pony can I meet please". Uhh I guess but you might not like or understand him" Silver says hoping that can convince her. "I want to meet him though" Pinkie says with a sad face tearing up. "No No please don't cry you can meet him" pinkie immediately cheers up "Yeah new pony yippee".

Pinkie and Silver walk side by side to the park and there silver sees Dark as pinkie follows him Dark sees them and grin as they walk up to each other. "Well looks like you brought along a friend and a boring one at that". Pinkies mane deflates and she looks sad as silver just stares at Dark trying to intimidate him. "I understand you like to mess with people but you're here for me what do you want".

"Simple I want to show you how much time you have left" He pulls the apple out of a bag and it now looks different instead it is half black and gold. "Why are you showing me this?" Silver ask. "I'm not showing I'm giving you this because it's your timer so you know how much time you have till I will be coming after you and I'm only not killing you now because I want to have a little fun. Besides I want to see if you can make friends in the right places to help you cause that what your little club relayed on isn't it connections". Silver Smiled as Dark Simply walked to his side and disappeared in silvers shadow.

Silver turned to pinkie "you're not boring by the way he just finds messing with peoples head is fun". "But everypony thinks I'm a ball of fun looking at me it hurts to hear what he said". Silver pats pinkies back its alright he's not even a real pony he's just an illusion don't worry I promise he won't call you boring again just promise me you won't tell anypony about this" as pinkie and silver walk towards the castle he thinks to himself I'm going to kill that hoarse before the games are over.

Dark seems to melt out of the side of a building where it's completely dark and watches the two pony's as he thinks to himself I may be an illusion Silver but I'm your final test for the apple he says as he throws the apples towards silver bag as it passes through ending in his bag. "I hope you bring your blades because your ancestors wouldn't like it if you failed tradition.

(Later that day)

Silver walks inside and sees the purple dragon he's looking for. "Hey Spike I need my bag from earlier that I dropped off" "sure just follow me Silver follows spike to the throne room to see spike as he pushes his forward reveling a hole under his chair giving him his bag full of blades silver opens it and grabs two out before spikes puts the bag back and pulls the chair back hiding the hole. "You seem to find those quite a bit don't you?" Silver questions. Maybe but you don't mind keeping secrets do you" Spike ask nervously. Silver laughs and simply says "the real question is do you" as silver leaves spike thinks to himself what does he mean by that.

Silver goes into a cellar pinkie lent him for the night and starts to work on the final touches of his blades as he looks at the three pictures one of rainbow one of Dark and one of Connor his master as he looks at them he thinks to himself what have I gotten myself into. He covers the ammo panel on his blade as he slides it on and aims at the makeshift dummy he made he fires the gun and a giant pow is heard all over ponyville he quickly looked at the damage and saw the bucket he used as a head to aim at was blown to pieces quickly shoving everything he had into his bag he ran out of the cellar no realizing that a certain blue Pegasus and black earth pony saw him running.

(The Next day)

Silver practically dragged himself to the competition at the pool he sees Twilight and heads over to talk to her. "Hey have you seen rainbow dash I need to talk to her". Twilight looks at him in confusion before pointing at the starting line. Silver heads over while thinking he swore she wasn't there a second ago. Rainbow sees him before smiling and heading over to him. "Hey silver you ready to lose" Rainbow says while rarity and fluttershy giggle to themselves.

Listen I just want to say I'm sorry about yesterday I was just bragging cause I'm not used to winning and that still doesn't make up for the fact I was a jerk" Silver says before Dash grins before lifting his chin up with her hoof. "Don't worry I Have Done that before. Winning is a good feeling epically when you haven't win that much before. Silver smiles before Dark comes from nowhere "Hey how's my good old friend doing". "Oh hey Dark I need to talk to you. Excuse me Rainbow". Silver and Dark Walk a bit away from Rainbow before Silver whispers "Why are you here" Dark just grins before saying "Well you know what your good at so I need to find out what your good at by watching you compete in these games. Oh and don't worry I won't get between you and that blue Pegasus"

"What do you mean" Silver says trying to sound confused. "You forget I am basically you in a different body I have your mental training memories and feelings" With that Dark simply walks away and Silver hears the warning bell and sits down hearing a strange clunk he checks to see the apple and it looks still half gold and black. He shakes his head before putting the apple back and walking towards the pool getting ready for his competition.
