Two whole months has passed, but there hasn't been any sign of either Twilight, Discord, or Eggman. Twilight had come in one of Rainbow Dash's dreams not long ago, stating that she wasn't on Angel Island anymore, and was trying to find them. But Rainbow, still hadn't told anybody about her new Chaos Energy…

(Sonic's POV)

I was running around Green Hill Zone. It was sunny, and a perfect day for a run. I would have gone with

Rainbow Dash, but she wanted to stay at the base. I had suggested that we could go trash some robots, and

that she could use her electricity powers to crash Eggman's base. But for some reason, she wouldn't. I had

asked her why, but she just answered she had her reasons. I had wanted to go with her, but, if I bothered

Rainbow Dash, the results wouldn't be pretty. Or, that was my opinion. But after seeing her pretty much

own Amy first time they fought, the Chaos Emerald had no effect on her, so yeah. Getting into trouble with

her, is a death wish. I just kept on running, and running…

Bump!

I crashed into something. It send me a few feet back and down on the ground. I rubbed my head and

opened my eyes. A purple hedgehog with wings around my age with just as long hair as Rainbow Dash. Her

hair was extremely dark purple, with two other colored stripes, a less dark purple one, and a violet one. Her

eyes were purple. She wore a violet top, with a dark blue skirt with a violet six pointed star with five stars

around it. She wore purple boots like Rainbow Dash'.

"Oh, I'm very sorry sir, I didn't see you" She said.

I stood up.

"It's okay. Don't worry about it" I said.

"What are you even doing out here all alone? Don't you know it's dangerous?" I asked her.

"Well of course I do! Besides, why would you even be out here all alone?" She asked.

"I at least know how to defend myself!"

"Well, I can defend myself too! Know, if you will excuse me, I have to go, and find my friend!"

"Your friend? Who is it?"

"That's none of your business sir!"

I held my arms up in defeat.

"Okay, okay jeez!"

I started to walk back the way I came from.

"Well, time to go back to Dashie…" I mumbled.

"Wait!"

I turned around and looked at her.

"Is your friend's name, Rainbow Dash?" She asked.

"Yes?"

She gasped.

"You know her!?" She asked.

"You know her!?" I asked.

"I won't answer until you answer!"

"And I won't answer until you answer!"

"Fine yes! Now, you better spill the beans!"

"Fine yes! Now, you better spill the beans too!"

"What beans!?"

"About who you are, and what you want with Rainbow Dash!"

She calmed down, and stopped yelling.

"My name is Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship, and The Element of Magic" She said.

Princess?

"Now, who are you?" She asked.

"My name is Sonic The Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive" I said.

"The fastest? I'm not so sure you can keep up with Rainbow Dash" Twilight said.

"I don't really care about that now, but, you are looking for Rainbow Dash, right?"

"Yes? Do you know where she is?"

"Sure. Come on!"

I grabbed her hand and ran to the base quickly.

(Rainbow's POV)

I walked through the passages of the bases, on my way down to the basement. I looked down in the floor.

How will I tell him? How will I tell THEM? How will I tell about my new Chaos Energy that is lurking inside of my body?

I had already felt the strange changes happening in my body. I felt like something was stung my body, and tried to explode out of it. It sometimes felt very painful, but I had managed to hold it back.

How will I ever tell my friends when I come back that I never fulfilled my destiny because of this!?

I suddenly bumped into someone. We both fell back. I had felt that it wasn't as high as me. I looked at them. It was Tails.

"Sorry Tails. I didn't see you there!" I said as I stood up.

"It's okay" Tails said as he stood up himself.

I looked behind of him. The door to the basement was right behind of him.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" He asked.

"Oh, uh nowhere! Nowhere what so ever!" I lied and chuckled nervously.

Tails didn't fall for that however. He crossed his arms, and looked at me with THAT look. I sighed.

"Fine. I'm going down to the cells" I said.

"The cells? Are you kidding!? Amy is down there!" Tails said shocked.

"Wasn't it you who said to Sonic that the cells were too strong for Amy to break out of?"

"Yes but-"

"Then what are you worried about?"

Tails sighed in defeat.

"Just…be careful" He said.

I nodded. He walked pass me and away. I walked over to the door and opened it. There wasn't much light, and it was dark and dirty. There was a staircase leading down. I hesitantly took a step down. It was cold down here. I walked down the staircase, a little nervous. When I arrived at the bottom, there was dirt floor. I took the last step down, and started to walk down the dirt path. It was really creepy down there. I walked until I saw some electricity spark. I walked over to it. Amy's cell.

"Hey Amy" I said in a low voice. She turned around and looked at me. I took a few steps back and gasped.

Amy's face was completely different. She was dirty all over the body. Blood was coming from her eyes, her skin was pale, and her skin was pulled in to her bones, like if she hadn't eaten anything. I then noticed the rotten food on a pair of plates in the corner. It would have been delicious if it was fresh, but it was completely destroyed and rotten. She hadn't eaten anything since she was put down here.

"What do you want?" Amy asked. Her voice sounded different. It sounded….deep, dark, and cold.

"I'm just here to talk Amy" I said, holding my arms up in defense.

"Well, I don't want to talk to the likes of you! I don't even want to talk Sonic!" Amy yelled.

"Amy, look. I'm sorry if you don't like me and Sonic together, but you can't change the fact that we are friends. Amy, we're just friends, nothing more…" I said calmly. Amy however, didn't take it that kindly.

"Shut up! SHUT UP! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU ALL!" Amy yelled.

"Amy" I said calmly again. I went over to the bars, trying to be as calm as possible.

"Don't go through this. Please. If you calm down, you can get out. We can be friends, we can make a deal, and we can be nice to each other. If you want me out of your life, just say it"

Amy growled.

"YOU ARE OUT OF MY LIFE!" Amy yelled, as she rushed forward with a kitchen knife. I quickly jumped to the wall, frightened that she would have hit me.

"ALL YOU ARE IS A WEAKLING! A WIMP! YOU HADN'T DONE A THING TO SURPPORT YOUR WORLD'S SURVIVAL! YOU HAD TO WATCH YOUR FRIENDS FIGHT, SEE INOCCENT PEOPLE DIE, AND WHAT DID YOU DO!? NOTHING! YOU JUST STOOD AND WATCHED, WHILE YOUR FRIENDS SACRIFICED THEMSELVES FOR YOU, AND EVERYONE ELSE!"

Tears started to form in my eyes.

"No, I didn't—"

"ALL YOU'RE HERE FOR IS TO COMPLETE YOUR MISSION, SO YOU CAN GET BACK TO YOUR WORLD, AND BECOME THE HERO YOU ONCE WERE! YOU DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT ANYONE HERE! SONIC, TAILS, KNUCKLES, EVERYBODY! YOU'RE ONLY HERE BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY STRENGHT TO DO IT!"

"No, that's not—"

"OH, NOW YOU'RE LYING TO ME HUH!? SEE!? YOU'RE JUST A LIAR WHO CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT GETTING HELP FROM STRANGERS FOR YOUR OWN SELFISH GAME! YOU'RE JUST A PATHETIC, LYING, SELFISH, CORWARD! NOTHINIG MORE! NOTHING MORE!"

I sobbed a little, until I realized she was right. I ran up the staircase, with my face buried down in my hands.

"THAT'S RIGHT! RUN, RUN! AND NEVER COME BACK!"

Running. That was all I could think of…

(Sonic's POV)

I had taken Twilight to the base, and we went inside. I saw my little bro coming running at me.

"Sonic! Have you seen Rainbow Dash?" Tails asked panicked.

"No, why?" I asked a little nervous.

"Well, I—who is this?"

"Oh Tails, this is Princess Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash' friend. Twilight, this is my best friend, Tails"

"Um, hello" Tails said.

"Nice to meet you" Twilight said.

"Now what was it with Rainbow Dash?" I asked and sat on one knee, being on Tails' height.

"Well, Rainbow wanted to go down into the basement to talk to Amy…" Tails began.

She went down there all by herself?

"…And the next second I saw her rushing outside, crying" He ended.

"Rainbow Dash cried?" Twilight asked surprised. "That's unusual"

Suddenly, without thinking, I stood up.

"I'm going" I said and walked over to the gate.

"Sonic?" Tails asked.

"If Rainbow Dash came from the Amy, something must have happened between those two. I need to help her" I said. I rushed outside before they could speak, in attempt to find poor Dashie.

(Tails' POV)

"Is he always like this?" Twilight asked.

"Well not really. But he changed when Rainbow Dash came to our world" Tails said. "He is really happy she came to this world. He changed from sensitive, sad, and disappointed to his old self-confident, brave, and good-moody self"

"Why was he all the bad things?"

"I'll tell you once you tell us your story"

"I'll wait. Until Rainbow Dash and Sonic comes back so I don't have to tell it twice"

(Sonic's POV)

I felt the cold storming rain upon my body. But it didn't stop me. If Rainbow Dash and Amy talked, then something awful must have happened to Rainbow. It stormed. I couldn't even see the sky from all the clouds. I ran inside of the forest. There was loud thunder heard, and I saw a few lightings hit the ground from outside the forest. The weather was tragic. Questions kept turning and turning around, in my head.

What happened?

Why did Rainbow go down there?

What was Amy like?

What did they talk about?

Why did Rainbow cry?

Where is Rainbow?

Is Rainbow okay?

Is she safe?

Is she gone?

Is she kidnapped?

Is she okay?

Can I find her?

WILL I find her?

What's going to happened?

I stopped running when I started to hear sobbing. Even though the thunder was rambling loudly in the background, I could still hear it. It was close by. I walked over to where the sound was coming from. I came to a pair of bushes, close to the sobbing. I held them to the sides, so I could see.

Out in the middle of a little clearing, I saw Dashie, sitting her knees, her hands folded together at her chest, crying like never. I stepped out of the bushes, and into the clearing. She was 5 whole meters away from me. I walked over to her, not saying anything. It seemed like she couldn't hear me. I sat on one knee right behind of her.

"Dashie?" I said quietly.

She stood stiff for a second at the sound of my voice, and then turned her head around. I gasped quietly.

Rainbow Dash was completely wet from the storm. Her hair had lost its beautiful rainbow color, and her clothes was so soaked, you could easily rip it apart, no challenge at all. She was eagerly shaking from the cold of the rain.

When I looked into her eyes, my heart stung hard.

Those once beautiful glittering violet eyes, were filled with…

Fear…

Darkness…

Tragedy…

Despair…

Sadness…

Guilt…

I stroke her cheek kindly, wiping my thumb over a tear.

"Dashie…" I said gently. She kept staring at me with big eyes. I in one swift motion wrapped my arms around her, and pulled her into me. Her hands rested on my chest, and she closed her eyes, and nuzzled my fur. One of my hand rested on her head, while the other one was still around her.

I soon stood up and carried her in my arms. She clung herself to me, by having her arms around my chest, as well as resting her head on it.

I can't go back to the base. The weather is too dangerous, and I have to be careful with Dashie. If ever see her hurt because of me, I would never forgive myself…

Suddenly, I saw a cave nearby. I ran over there with Dashie in my arms, and walked inside. It was a pretty big cave, enough space for 30 men or so. I placed Rainbow Dash in a corner, and quickly went out to get some firewood…

After some time, I got a fire going on in the middle of the cave. I was leaning on a wall with Rainbow Dash resting on my chest. My arms were around her. She was still a bit wet, but she had dried a lot. She was still shivering a bit though. I looked at her. She looked at me too. Her eyes were still filled with all those things…It hurt me so much. I stroke her cheek gently.

"Dashie…" I mumbled to her. Tears then started to form in her eyes, and she buried her face down in my chest. I kissed her forehead, and I placed my fingers at her chin, and lifted her face up to look at me.

"Dashie…Why are you letting those beautiful eyes cry?" I asked gently.

"How can you even look at this face without seeing all that failure? Because that's all I am!" She responded loudly. I remained calm though.

"Failure? What are you talking about?"

"Don't you see Sonic? I haven't done anything to support Equestria, I haven't done anything for my friends! I have just stood and watched as people are sacrificing themselves! I am nothing but failure!"

"Who told you that? Amy?"

She nodded slowly.

"Guess she was right…I haven't helped anyone…" She suddenly flew directly away from me, and outside the cave where it had stopped raining. I quickly got up and ran. But I didn't know where she was. I jumped up on the top of a high tree, but I still couldn't see her. Great. Lost her. I jumped down of it, and kept running. I had to find her!

I ran, until I saw a rainbow streak nearby. I quickly ran after it. I soon came to…..a volcano? Was she…..going to kill herself?

Oh no!

I ran faster and faster, in hope of not being late. I soon got to the top. I saw her. Rainbow Dash. One step more step, and she was no more. I noticed her wings being broken. She even removed the chance of saving herself?

"Don't!" I said. She turned around and looked at me. She didn't look sad. She more looked surprised to see me.

"Leave me alone Sonic" She said and turned around.

"Rainbow, listen to what I say! Think about how everyone will feel if you do this!" I held my arm out, as if I was stopping her.

"I'm sorry. But this is my decision"

"But-"

"No"

"But-"

"No!"

"But-"

"NO!"

I stared at her.

"Just leave me alone, and let me do what I want to!" Rainbow said. I took a step forward, my arms still held up.

"Rainbow, you've got to listen to me!"

She looked at my when a non-caring look and clenched her fists.

"I want you to listen to me! Listen to me, and fight! Fight for who you truly are!"

Her eyes widened a bit, but didn't change her look.

"And fight for us! You're strong, stronger than Amy and her lies"

She was still looking at me with a non-caring look.

"You saved my life, now listen to me, and save your own! I care more about you, than anyone else in the entire world!"

She gasped, and her eyes widened.

"Please, please come back to me" I said with tears in my eyes. Her fists let go, and she looked as shocked as I felt. She took a step back.

Oh no…

The stone under her foot broke, and she fell. I ran over and grabbed her and lifted her up as fast as I could. She was about to fall on the ground, but I placed my arms under her back, while her arm rested around my neck and I was on one knee. We both blushed as we gazed into eachother's eyes.

Go for it…

I slowly started to move my head closer to her, and so did she. I didn't even hesitate before I felt her lips touch mine…

(Twilight's POV)

Sonic and Rainbow Dash had (according to Tails) been gone for over an hour. It was dark and I was getting worried. I was sitting on a hill, looking up in the sky, and trying to examine as much of it as I could. I began thinking how much trouble I went through to get here. When I and Discord got here, I could easily feel Rainbow's presence because of her element. But for two months, I haven't been able to figure out where she was. I couldn't feel her. Why? Why had her element's energy source disappeared? And I had this strange feeling that the other elements were nearby. But that's impossible. Or is it? Have all of us been sent to this weird world? If so, where are they? Are the princess's here too? I don't think so. My crown enabled me to sense, not only the Elements of Harmony, but the princess's too. I only felt the elements presence. I looked down of myself. I knew what this world was kinda like because I had been in that other world where I had to get my crown back from Sunset Shimmer, but this world was still different. Mostly because I was pretty sure that the other world don't have mutant animals.

I began thinking about back home when I was a filly. When we was at a sea where there was a lot of animals, including whales, she would sing to me. But, now, she was dead. So was my father. I began to feel the tears coming from my eyes. I closed them, and started to sing the song…

I turned around. Tails was standing a few feet behind of me.

"H-How long have you been standing there?" I asked.

"Long enough" He said.

"You sing beautifully"

I blushed at the compliment.

"Why thank you" I said. He walked over and sat beside of me.

"Do you sing a lot?" He asked.

"Sometimes. I don't do it so much"

"Well, you should use that beautiful talent of yours. It's amazing"

I blushed even harder, and giggled.

"I'm flattered"

"Oh, by the way" He took something out of one of his tails. It was a bracelet with some sort of device on top.

"You're gonna need this" He handed it to me, and I took it. I placed it on my hand.

I suddenly felt a lot of knowledge rush into me in a split second. I shook my head.

"It's a B.W.T.C, or as we call it, a Bracelet-Walkie-Talkie-Computer"

"Thanks" I replied.

Suddenly, a blur behind us went pass us.

"Say, was that just Sonic?" Tails asked.

"Rainbow Dash too?" I asked.

"Aren't you gonna go talk to her?"

I shook my head.

"Not now. If she cried, then something awful must have happened. And it took Sonic a whole hour to get her back"

"Hmm, good point"

(POV)

I was carrying Dashie in my arms. I was taking her up in the clouds. I wanted to be alone with her. Somewhere private. I landed on the soft cotton feeling clouds, and gently placed Dashie beside of me. We both sat down and crossed our legs. We looked up in the sky. The stars were glowing more than ever.

"It's beautiful" Rainbow complimented. I nodded.

"Yeah" I responded.

"Sonic?"

"Yeah?"

"Have you seen many wonderful things on your adventures before?"

"Of course"

"I wish I could see them, with you"

"Well, you can, right?"

"Maybe. If I stayed…"

"Oh"

I had forgotten about that.

"I-I have been thinking about it for a while now…" She said.

"A-And I have had such great time…" She continued.

I looked at her with a sad expression, and my ears were down. I definitely knew what she was going to say.

"Which is why I want to stay…" My eyes widened and I gaped. My ears got directly up.

"Y-You want to s-stay?" I asked surprised. She nodded slowly.

"Mm-hmm"

"B-but what about Equestria? A-and your friends? What about—"

"Shh" She hushed me, and placed a finger on my lips. Her finger slowly slid down to my chin, and lifted it. We gazed into each other's eyes for a moment, before she kissed me softly on the lips. She removed her finger from my chin, and took my wrist instead. She pulled my arm down, and gently kissed me again. I kissed her back myself, and pushed her head forward.

I didn't want to leave her soft lips…

Dam dam DAAAMMM! Dashie wants to stay with Sonikuu! Aww! But, I'm not an expert in romance, but did Tails just flirt with Twilight back there? OH JEEZ! Man, this was a great chapter. I suddenly feel very happy for all of the Sondash fans in the universe!
