CHAPTER 20 EVERYONE!

"I would be honored to rule that with you" Dark Dash stated, smirking devilishly at the robot in front of her. Little did she know, a few teardrops fell and hit the floor right outside the door, before a dark blur ran away…

SLAM!

The door almost broke, as it slammed shut. Dark Sonic couldn't care less. No. Everyone here could just be swallowed by darkness for all he cared! Dark Dash…how could she had accepted?! Did she really think he would not hear her and Neon's conversation?!

Did she really think that Dark Sonic had meant all that?! He was just joking around! Of course he's not a perverted freak! Who the hell is?!

He just sighed and banged his head against the wall. Even though dark beings weren't supposed to have emotions, this was different—He had turned Dark out of emotions.

'Many people don't know this, but…Poison Kiss only works out of emotions. In order for the move to work, the foe or the user has to be in love with that person. If the user or the foe loses their feelings over time (which they rarely do), the spell will break, and start returning all emotions to the foe. So that means…'

"Either I'm falling away, or she is…"

Dark Sonic sighed miserably. Why…why did it always have to come to this? One of them pouting because of this or that, and they would always fall away from each other. Were they just never…meant to be?

'No…Of course not…this is just another falling apart; we've faced this before. I just have to prove that to her...the hard way...'

Now what to do…

Dark Sonic stood up. He felt something release him all of a sudden. Like, a cold control had left him and set him free. But, the pain that was right now in him was the only thing that could focus. He sighed a bit before he stretched. He heard his spine crack in approval as the restlessness from them left.

He then turned around, speeding out of the door, but not before catching a glimpse of the reflection the mirror threw.

Instead of a dark aura hedgehog, he saw cobalt blue with emerald orbs as eyes pass by.

He was no longer Dark Sonic.

No.

He was the hedgehog that Mobius had praised over a hundred times.

He was the blur who had stopped Eggman before he managed to conquer the world.

He was the fastest thing alive.

'That's right…

I'm not a dark being.

No.

I'm the Blue Blur!

And I'll forever stay that way, no matter what!

I'm Sonic The Hedgehog!' (A/N: - Really cheesy, I know)

"This is going better than expected!" Tails remarked happily as him, Twilight, Knuckles, Silver, Rarity and Rouge sped through the metal hallways, like someone does every other chapter.

"Don't get too over-confident Fox Boy. Even though you and the kitty planned this out pretty well, there could always be a trap around the corner" Knuckles remarked annoyed.

'Over-Confident?! Fox Boy?! Kitty?! Well excuuuuuuse me!'

"Idiot" Tails mumbled in response, quiet enough for no one to hear.

"We're almost at the prison part of this! I memorized the entire map we have of this base!" Twilight exclaimed as we turned at a corner.

"I hope you would. Or else we would be in trouble" Silver sighed in relief.

'Why does everyone here doubt the nerds?!'

"You're welcome!" Twilight giggled happily, even though it wasn't a thank you…

"Wait!" Tails' eyes widened before he stopped running along with the others, stopping abruptly. He turned her head, facing Rouge.

"What is it?" Tails asked concerned.

"Something is wrong," She stated simply.

"Hah! Of course! We're in the middle of a base full of enemies!" Knuckles exclaimed loudly in an 'as-a-matter-of-fact' tone.

'When is he going to stop being such a jerk?!' Luckily, Rouge backhanded him.

"That's not what I meant you knucklehead! I'm saying that there's something wrong particularly right now!"

"What seems to be the problem?" Silver asked and stepped forward.

"It's just…even though we disabled the robots, doesn't this seem…too easy?" Rouge asked.

"What do you mean by that darling?" Rarity asked slightly worried and intersected her two hands.

"I mean, this is Eggman we are talking about. Shouldn't something have happened by now?" Rouge asked and turned to Tails. He held his chin in consideration for a second.

"You're right…With an IQ of his, he would have known our plans by now. We've been going on for 15 minutes since our attack, and nothing has happened since we disabled the robots a few minutes ago. Hmm…something does seem kinda fishy"

Suddenly, the B.W.T.C on Tails' wrist beeped. He opened it slowly, showing a map with blue dots, indicating him and his friends. However, a dark blue dot was moving towards them pretty fast.

"Huh? Sonic's life force is moving towards us?!" He asked astounded. Just as he said that, a loud screech was heard, the one that you hear when a car stops abruptly after driving fast.

"Sonic!" Twilight exclaimed happily. Tails felt overfilled with joy, as he ran over to his big brother.

"Big bro! It's so good to see you again! And safe for that matter!" He exclaimed like a little child, hugging the hedgehog tightly. He heard him chuckle as he hugged back.

"Thanks bro. It's good to be back!" He replied, showing one of his usual cheeky grins.

"If Sonic is here, then Rainbow Dash must be here as well!" Twilight happily exclaimed.

A second after that…

Tails swore he had felt a brief tension emitting form Sonic.

Why? Did something happen?

"I don't think Rainbow Dash would be happy to…oblige us" He said, his tone more…dark.

"Why not darling?" Rarity asked, still having her slightly worried tone.

"Well, why don't you ask me that question, Rarity?!" Before Tails knew it, Sonic had grabbed hold of him, and jumped away just in time, before getting hit. He turned his head and growled up at whoever was there. Tails looked up, before he regretted doing that.

In the air, stood a look-alike of Sonic, except a robot version (noticeable by the metal) and…

Rainbow Dash…

But, not…

She was…

"She has turned Dark" Sonic stated, but so bluntly. Why? Wasn't he concerned at all for his girlfriend?

A rush of shock and anger filled over Dark Dash as she stared at the group below her. Not because that group was mainly her retarded 'friends', but because Dark Son-the real Sonic was siding with them! Why?! How could the former dark hedgehog betray her like this?! Because she wasn't obligating to his perverted request?!

"Hmph. As expected of you. You're too emotional to stay in that form for too long" Neon Sonic huffed.

"Well, at least I'm not a big bucket of bolts, neither am I a faker!" The blue hedgehog screamed back at his robot clone. Dark Dash clenched her fists and growled down at him.

"How dare you speak to Master like that?!" She screamed, firing a bolt of black at her former lover, who jumped out of the way before getting hit.

"I don't care if he's your master or not, I'm going to turn him back into what he was before. A pile of bolts and scraps" Sonic stated. Dark Dash growled at him, before charging up a dark beam.

"Why you-!" She fired the beam at him, but it never hit. He once again, dodged.

"Guys! You have to handle Neon! I'll take care of her!" Sonic exclaimed to the retards, before speeding off, but not before saying. "Catch me if you can, Skittles!"

…How, had he turned so cocky if he just turned back?

Regardless the confusion, Dark Dash sped after the cobalt blue hedgehog, kinda seeing forward to smack him for his stupidity in his Dark form.

3rd Person POV

She stopped flying at one point and turned to face Sonic, which made him drift before stopping.

'Time to make a move…'

"Dash!" Sonic screamed as he looked up at her. "Please stop! Stop following Neon's orders!" Dark Dash looked taken back, but quickly answered.

"No!" Sonic narrowed his brows at her.

'There's only one way to get her back. If I fight her, she might just snap out of the control and become herself again' Sonic got down on one knee, before…

'So go against her…and make her see the light!' …Taking off towards her.

"Idiot! You're going to get crushed again!" Dark Dash formed a black bullet in her hands and shot it towards Sonic. The bullet made contact and smoke and dust filled the air. But as soon as it disappeared, to Dark Dash's surprise, Sonic came out of the cloud, unharmed.

"What?!" Dark Dash exclaimed, obviously furious from the failed attack on the hedgehog she had fought with ease earlier.

'I learned her moves as Dark Sonic! That isn't going to kill me!'

"Dash!" Sonic exclaimed as he jumped up in the air, trying to kick her, but her own feet collided with his, putting them in a kicking competition.

"Sonic! Why are you getting in my way?!"

"Because I love you!" Another black bullet fired from her hand and Sonic barely dodged it.

But he didn't need to, because it would have missed anyways.

Dark Dash's eyes just widened. Her mind didn't even pay attention as the blur was running towards her.

'No way…I missed?! It can't be because of what he…said…'

Dark blue eyes widened as she suddenly felt more than one kick in her face. She let out grunts as she fell back, landing on her back. As she swayed back and forth, she growled at the blue hedgehog, who had once been her ally.

'Dammit…what the hell is wrong with me?! This is—nothing!'

Dark Dash held her hand out. A dark orb began to grow in her palm. Even so, the blue hedgehog a few feet away stood still, not even flinching over her upcoming attack.

'This is…nothing!' Why was the doubt, tingling in her thoughts? Why were they so disturbed by the presence of the blue blur?

It was almost as if she crushed a glass with her bare hand, that the orb disappeared from her hand. Dark Dash's eyes widened once again as she looked at her now empty palm.

"This is…how…?" She miserably whimpered out. It was so pathetic. She was a being of darkness, and she just let out the most pitiful whimper anyone could ever make.

A chuckle emitted from Sonic. He took a step forward, while Dark Dash took a step back.

"S-Stay back!" Why? Why was she stuttering out an empty threat? How come she was so scared suddenly of the blue hedgehog? She had beaten him before, she could do it again!

He suddenly chuckled again.

"You wanna hear my thoughts on this?" He said suddenly, his expression clearly amused, along with an aura of mischievousness. Dark Dash furrowed her face into one of confusion.

"I think we should never have met"

? POV

'So…they're fighting the robot and the dark girl? And it seems like the blue one snapped out of it. Hm…interesting…'

Her mouth curled up into a smile. One that's gonna scare you shitless make you feel the goose bumps tickle up your skin without stopping.

'The blue one is winning against the dark girl…but the group is losing oh so quickly to a mere robot…it's almost pathetic…

Should I interfere and save the day?

Or…

…Should I wait to play my cards? Or, should I say, wait to play my revenge against that pathetic red one?
