The day started like any other winter day. Josh poured himself a bowl of cereal and poured the milk. When he looked up, he saw his crush, Paige, shivering outside. He let her in but before he could say anything, he and her vanished through a portal.

Josh and Paige spun in the portal. Josh turned into a red alicorn with a brown mane and no cutie-mark. Paige turned into a crème-white alicorn with a brown mane and no cutie-mark. Both spun and tried to avoid each other. Finally there was an opening and the two tumbled onto the still-dew grass.

Josh was the first to get onto his hooves. He nudged Paige and she almost back-fisted him in the face. Both looked around to see where they were. Josh finally said; "I-I think we're in Ponyville." Paige almost slapped him in the back of his head, but noticed that he was right about that.

Both trotted alongside each other until Paige noticed a huge tree. As they trotted closer, they both noticed that the huge tree was really a library.

As Josh tried to find a way inside, a purple alicorn with a violet mane that had a pink streak running through it trotted out. The alicorn also had a pink-white star on her flank. She was reading a book and failed to notice Joah and Paige at first. When she finally looked up at them, she nearly screamed but didn't. Instead she said in an annoyed voice; "Hi. Can I help you?"

Josh spoke first; "Hi. I am Josh, this is my crush, Paige. We somehow ended up in this...world. Do you know anyone who can bring us back?" At first the alicorn didn't say anything but nodded as to say "yes" and trotted toward the train station. Both Josh and Paige followed her. When they boarded the train, the alicorn quickly glanced at their flanks and told them; "If this doesn't work, the Cutie Mark Crusaders need new members."

A/N I am doing this for my friend who I actually said in this chapter how I feel about her.

What felt like hoours later, Josh finally decided to try to talk to Paige; "I know that we both want to be back home, playing chess, but we somehow ended up here. In Equestria. If I don't go back, I want to let you have this," Josh pulled out a wooden flute from a case he carried around with him and handed it to Paige. At first, Paige didn't know what to say, but then kissed Josh on the lips and said; "I'll always remember you."

From this point on, Josh was in a daze but once he arrived inside the castle, he snapped out of it. They entered what looked like a throne room. Before them stood a white alicorn with a bright rainbow mane and a sun on her flank. The white alicorn said to them; "I know who yo are and from which dimension you are from. I am Princess Celestia Princess of the Sun! I see that Princess Twilight brought you two to me. Follow me, I'll send you two back to your own world." As the two followed Princess Celestia, Josh realized it was a dream. Right before they entered a room, Josh awoke.

Josh only stared at the ceiling fan thinking about his dream. What did it mean? Why would I dreamof Paige? he wondered. After a few more minutes, he finally rolled over to one side and stared at his lizard. A further two minutes, he closed his eyes and dreamed agan.
