"A new chapter? I thought you were dead!" No I am very much alive! I has decided to make this only twenty chapters long so that I can work on the sequel. Please be patient because chapter 19 will be extremely short. Then I will have a "Next Time" thingy. Please read on my friends! Please read on!

Chapter 18

I ran towards the Egg Pawn as it rose its weapon. I kicked it in the head, knocking to the ground. It stood up and fired at me, the beam nearly hit my arm, but I was able to dodge it and counter with a quick Homing Attack. It punched me in the gut and threw me into a tree, holding me by the throat. I smiled and pointed at its feet, when it looked down it saw the small rope wrapped around its ankle. I smiled as it shot upward letting go of me and dropping its weapon.

"We caught another one!" I shouted at Applejack. She walked over to the forest trees and looked up. There were at least sixty Egg Pawns hanging by their feet, they were all spaced apart so that they couldn't help each other down. "We've got a regular zoo up there now." I heard her say. I smiled before setting another trap. "This one managed to catch me. Eggman is getting better." I said to her. "Sonic. We have a problem… I've found some sort of pest in the fields." Applejack said to me. I nodded before heading into the orchard, I saw that a few trees had large holes in them. "Looks like Swiss cheese…" I muttered, stopping when I heard a sound. It was a familiar sound, I jumped over the Caterkiller as it tried to ram me. "Caterkiller? Haven't seen you things for a while." I said before jumping onto the head of the robot and felt the soft metal crush underneath my feet.

The robot blew up, releasing a small animal that quickly ran off. "How many more are there?" I asked myself before I saw the twenty Caterkillers that had surrounded me. I smiled and destroyed them all before walking back towards Applejack. "I took care of your little pest problem. No need to thank me." I said before running off.
