So, with this new story, comes a little bad news. Since this story (my new favorite) is now up, I will be giving some of my stories to various authors. The ones up for grabs are: The Thestral, Soul Reaper Academy, Tentacles!, Trapped In A Fantasy, and Zecora's Brother. You may ask, why not the other discontinued stories? Because after I am done with my stories, I will continue writing them. I have a lot of ideas for them and will write them shortly. I am already half-way done with The Demon's Within's Fire Training chapter, already started on a Clopfic for Clopfic Galore 2, started on a chapter for Xtreme Wrestling Federation, started a chapter of The Equestrian War, started the chapter of Fluttershy for My Little Lust, and that's it. After I am done with those chapters, I will write more chapters of this story while writing more chapters of my other stories. I have a huge load ahead of me, heh. Now, I also have some more bad news. I will be leaving on December 23 to go to my Dad's house. I will not be gone for long, but there will be no updates while I am gone. So sorry.

Okay, so onto this story. Everyone knows that I am a big Yu-Gi-Oh fan, and an even bigger MLP fan. So, what did I do? Made MLP have Yu-Gi-Oh. This will be the story that I will write the most because I am a huge fan of both! But don't worry, it will not be straight up dueling and stuff, it will actually have a plot to it. And it won't be all just about ponies playing Yu-Gi-Oh, it will have other stuff too so that all can enjoy this story. If you are not interesting in Yu-Gi-Oh, I will place a "()()()()()()" line to make sure you know when the duel starts and when it is over.

Now, what is the plot of the story? Well, I have had this idea for a while and it will be almost like Duelist Kingdom. All the ponies (that I know of), will be in this story. The main part of the story is for Duelists to get 10 stars and proceed to the castle so that they will be placed in a large tournament. The winner of that tournament will face Princess Celestia for a very special card.

This story takes place as an alternative of the 1st episode of the 1st season of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. So, Twilight, is not an Alicorn, Princess Luna has not appeared yet, and the characters most likely have not met each other yet.

The main character of this story is my main MLP OC, Neon Scroll and her brother, Flutter Night's OC, Flutter Night. I shall not tell you more, because it would ruin the story. So without further ado, the story.

In an alternate world, Equestria was much, much different from the world that we all know. Equestria still looked the same, but, the government was much, much different. It was literally run by a certain game that everypony liked to play, Duel Monsters. A card game ran this world, that's right, a card game.

A young mare, Neon Scroll, was about to journey off into the world, and take part in what would be, the biggest and important moment in Equestrian history so far. The Duelist Kingdom Tournament. Hardly any facts to this point were known, as Princess Celestia kept almost all facts about the tournament secret. The only thing the duelists knew was to bring their Duel Disks and their strongest Deck with them to Ponyville Townhall. Neon's brother, Flutter Night, was already there at Ponyville Townhall waiting for his sister to arrive. However, she was indeed, a very late mare.

"Ahhhhhh!" There were screams coming from a house located in Ponyville. It came from a bedroom which revealed a teenage mare, waking up to the sound of a very late alarm clock. She quickly rushed out of bed, brushed her teeth at lightning speed, and then imagined that she was going to be too late to be in the Duelist Kingdom. Instead of showering, she literally poured perfume all over her and got dressed. She wore a pink duelist cloak. She quickly brushed her dark green and black mane and her light green coat. She looked into the mirror with her beautiful green eyes and nodded as she took her duelist disk and deck and ran out the door.

Transitions to the Ponyville Townhall...

There was a large crowd of different duelists from around the world in one spot. There was one particular pony in the audience who looked anxious. He had a white coat and had a black and blue mane/tail with a white streak. His mane style was a mohawk and he had blue eyes. His name was Flutter Night, the brother of Neon, and was very worried about his sister. "I hope she isn't late. She is always so forgetful..." Night said pacing a bit through the crowd in anxiety.

"Brother!" He heard a female voice say. He turned around to see Neon walk over to him. Night smiled as he saw his sister approach him. "Ah, good to see you made it." Night said with a smile.

"Barely made it. Stupid alarm clock went off late..." Neon sighed.

"It's alright. As long as you made it. Do you have your Deck?" Night asked.

"Yes, right here." She said as she showed her Duel Disk. It was pink and had her deck inside of the slot. Night sighed in relief.

"Okay, now we are good. Hm..." Night was wondering something. "Where is the Princess? I thought she was going to be here to announce the tournament?" He said in question.

"Maybe she is running a bit late, like me...Heh heh." She chuckled lightly. Night chuckled with her.

"Maybe..." Night said with a smile.

A few minutes later...

The crowd was slightly larger. There were slight whispers from behind a door in the Townhall. The crowd was getting impatient but their patience so far was quite strenuous. Fortunately, the door opened, but they were not greeted by Princess Celestia. In fact, they were greeted by a very small monitor with the image of Celestia on it. The crowd was confused and slightly angered by this. Before, the Celestia started speaking of course.

"Hello, as you all know, I am your Princess, Princess Celestia. It is good to see that a fair amount of ponies are here for the first part of the tournament. It has come to my attention that I have not informed any of you about the tournament, and for good reason too. Because this tournament is all about being surprised, and I intend to keep it that way. However, as I should, I will tell you about the first part of the tournament. First, guys..." Celestia said as Royal Guards walked into the Townhall with cases. They walked to everypony and handed each one of them 2 golden stars and a hoof cuff with 10 star holes. After they passed everypony the golden stars and the hoof cuffs, the guards walked out.

Celestia then spoke again. "As you may be wondering, these star chips have a very big significance to them. I would like for you to place the 2 star chips into 2 slots on your bracelets." She said as the crowd attached the star chips into the little star holes, they fit perfectly. Celestia smiled as she spoke yet again. "As you may be aware, there are 10 star slots on your bracelets. This is for a purpose. The first part of the tournament is to search for other duelists and to duel them. The winner of the duel receives 1 star chip from the opponent and no more. When you have received 10 star chips, you will receive a message from me personally on the next part of the tournament." Celestia said as the crowd seemed interested.

"And the most important part of the tournament, have fun. Duel Monsters may be what this world is revolved around, but it is a card game, meant for others to have fun. And now, let the tournament begin." Celestia said as the duelists looked at each other. She smiled as she was not done yet.

"Oh yes, and the star chips that I have given you have a sort of teleportation device. Good luck." She said as the bracelet's started to glow. Neon grabbed onto Night as the entire town teleported to unknown locations. Celestia smiled as the monitor shut off.

Welcome back to MLP: DMAM. Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but this story is not that popular. So I probably won't update very often. But I do like this story, so I will update every once in a while. So, here we go.

Night and Neon appeared in a large meadow field, Neon tripped because she wasn't used to teleportation, due to being a Pegasus. Night smiled as he lifted up his sister. "You okay sis?" Night asked.

"Sure am brother. Just not used to teleporting. I am a Pegasus, ya know?" Neon said with a smile.

"Yeah, I know. So...we have to duel others for star chips. Interesting. Speaking of, want to team up?" Night asked.

"Sure I do. A brother and sister combination. What's better than that?" Neon said with a chuckle.

"Then let's go find some duelists. Let's see...we are in the meadows. We might be near Manehattan. Not sure." Neon said.

"How do you know that? There are meadows and fields in a lot of areas in Equestria." Night said.

"Well, the grass is less green than usual. Manehattan doesn't really have many farmers or gardeners, so I am guessing that we may be near Manehattan. Or am I wrong?" She said with a cocky smile.

"Okay, then where would Manehattan be genius?" Night asked.

"Probably that direction." Neon said pointing behind Night. Night turned around and saw Manehattan from a distance.

"Oh..." Night said rubbing the back of his head.

"Let's go!" Neon said grabbing her brother's hoof and running. Night was being dragged by her little sister.

(Location: Manehattan Streets. Time: 2:00 P.M.)

Night and Neon walked into the Manehattan Streets. They looked over and saw that in the middle of the streets, there was a Duel with a large crowd around them. Neon smiled and dragged her brother over to watch the Duel. She managed to get to the front and looked to see the Duel. There was two colts. One had a light blue coat, a dark blue and light blue mane/tail, blue eyes, and an ice glacier cutie mark. He was an Unicorn. The other was a Pegasus with white wings, black coat, blue mane and tail, blue eyes, and his cutie mark was a moon. The pure blue pony had a light blue duel disk and the other had a white one.

Blue Pony: 2300 LP

Other Pony: 400 LP

The Blue Pony had General Gantala of the Ice Barrier (7/WATER/Warrior/Effect/ATK 2700/DEF 2000) and 2 Prior of the Ice Barrier's (2/WATER/Aqua/Effect/ATK 1000/DEF 400) and two face-downs.

The Other Pony had Judgment Dragon (8/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK 3000/DEF 2600) and a face-down. It was his turn. "I draw!" He said as he drew a card. He now had 3 cards in his hand. 'Hm...I can't activate Judgment Dragon's effect...I don't have enough Life Points...ugh...' The colt thought. 'Come on Dusk...think...' He thought. "Aha! I sacrifice Judgment Dragon in order to summon, Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon (6/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK 2000/DEF 1600)!" Dusk yelled as Judgment Dragon disappeared and Gragonith appeared on the field and roared.

"Why summon a weaker monster than before?" The Blue pony asked.

"Because I activate his effect. He gains 300 ATK and DEF with each "Lightsworn" monster with a different name in my Graveyard. I have Wulf, Shire, Rinyan, Ryko, Lumina, Aurkus, Jenis, Ehren, Lyla and Jain in my Graveyard. So my Dragon gains a boost of 3000 ATK and DEF!" Dusk yelled out. (A: 2000-5000) (D: 1600-4600)

"What!?" The Blue Pony yelled out. "Now Gragonith, attack Prior of the Ice Barrier!" Dusk yelled out as the Dragon went to attack General Raiho.

"I don't think so! I activate the Trap Card, Fiendish Chain! With this card, your monsters effect is negated and he cannot attack!" The Blue Pony said as the Dragon was wrapped up into chains. The dragon roared out in pain. (A: 5000-2000) (D: 4600-1600)

"No! Gr...I was careless..." Dusk said. "I set a card face-down and end my turn!" Dusk said as his turn ended.

Blue Pony: 2300 LP

Dusk: 400 LP

"My turn, I draw." The Blue Pony smirked as he drew a card. He now had 4 cards in his hand. "I activate the Spell Card, Medallion of the Ice Barrier. This card allows me to add 1 "Ice Barrier" monster from my Deck to my hand. I use that to bring to my hand, Defender of the Ice Barrier. I now summon him to the field. (3/WATER/Aqua/Tuner/ATK 200/DEF 1600)." The Blue Pony said.

"I now activate Monster Reborn to bring back to the field, another Prior of the Ice Barrier!" The Blue Pony said as another one appeared on the field. He now had 5 monsters on his side of the field.

"I now Tune Defender with my three Prior's in order to Synchro Summon..." The Blue Pony said as Defender and the three Prior's glowed an icy blue color and teleported. "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier! (9/WATER/Dragon/Synchro/Effect/ATK 2700/DEF 2000)" He said as a large dragon with three heads appeared on the field. Snow began to blow everywhere on the field. It roared threateningly.

"Now Trishula, attack Gragonith and end this duel!" The Blue Pony commanded as Trishula sent out a beam of ice as Gragonith was destroyed.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Dusk yelled out. (LP: 400-0)

Duel End. Winner: Blue Pony

Dusk fell down down onto his knees.

"You lost, I won. Give me your star chip." The Blue Pony asked for the star chip. Dusk handed one star chip to the pony. "Another." The pony said as Dusk looked at him with confusion. "Another!" He demanded.

"But we are only to give one star chip per Duel!" Dusk yelled out.

"I said give it to me punk!" The Blue Pony demanded.

Neon shoved through the crowd. "Hey kid, that's enough. Celestia said one chip, and you will abide that rule. You understand me?" Neon said with a menacing stare.

"I don't give a buck what Celestia said. This loser doesn't deserve his chips. A Duelist like me should be able to collect all the losers star chips." The Blue Pony said.

"Do not call him a loser. He fought valiantly. I can teach you a lesson! Let's Duel!" Neon said.

"Oh really? You want to Duel? Fine then!" The Blue Pony said as his Duel Disk activated once again. Neon activated her Green Duel Disk and inserted her deck.

"Let's Duel!" They both yelled out.

Blue Pony: 4000 LP

Neon: 4000 LP

"What is your name?" Neon asked.

"My name is Glacier Mist. Yours?" He asked.

"My name is Neon Scroll." She said.

"I will start off this Duel. I draw!" Glacier said as he drew a card, making a total of 6 cards in his hand. "I start off by summoning Strategist of the Ice Barrier (4/WATER/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK 1600/DEF 1600) in Attack Mode. I activate his ability. I send Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier to the Graveyard in order to draw one card." Glacier said as his monster was sent to the Graveyard and he drew one card. "I now activate the Spell Card, Monster Reborn. It allows me to bring back Cryomancer from the Graveyard. I now Tune him with Strategist in order to Synchro Summon..." Glacier said as his two monsters glew icy blue. "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier (6/WATER/Sea Serpent/Synchro/Effect/ATK 2300/DEF 1400)!" Glacier said as his monster teleported and a large ice dragon appeared on the field. It let out a menacing roar.

"I now set two cards face-down and end my turn." Glaicer said.

Glacier: 4000 LP

Neon: 4000 LP

"Next it's my turn! I draw!" Neon said as she drew a card. "Here we go! I start off by summoning Elemental HERO Burstinatrix (3/FIRE/Warrior/ATK 1200/DEF 800) to the field!" Neon said as a lady warrior wearing red clothes appeared on the field. "I now activate the Spell Card, Polymerization! I now fuse Burstinatrix and Elemental HERO Woodsman from my hand in order to Fusion Summon..." Neon said as Burstinatrix and Woodsman went into a swirling vortex.

"Elemental HERO Gaia (6/EARTH/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK 2200/DEF 2600)!" Neon said as a large warrior appeared on the field. It appeared to have metal on it. "I now activate his effect. When he is Fusion Summoned, I get to target 1 face-up monster my opponent controls, and until the End Phase, make its ATK halved and Gaia gains the same amount. I choose Trishula!" Neon said as Brionac glowed brown. (A: 2300-1150) (A: 2200-3350)

"What!? My Dragon!" Glacier yelled out.

"Next I activate the Spell Card, Heavy Storm! Which destroys all Spells and Traps on the field!" Neon yelled out as Glacier's two Spells and Traps were destroyed.

"No!" Glacier yelled out.

"Now Gaia, attack Brionac!" Neon said as Gaia punched through Glacier's Dragon as it was destroyed. (LP: 4000-1800)

"I now set two cards face-down and end my turn!" Neon said as her turn ended.

Glacier: 1800 LP

Neon: 4000 LP

"Gr...you bitch. I draw!" Glacier said as he drew a card, making 3 cards in his hand. "I summon Pilgrim of the Ice Barrier in Defense Mode. He cannot be destroyed by battle from a monster with 1900 or more ATK. I now set a card face-down and end my turn." Glacier said as his turn ended.

Glacier: 1800 LP

Neon: 4000 LP

"Good! My draw!" Neon said drawing another card, making 1 card in her hand. "I summon Elemental HERO Avian in Attack Mode. I now activate my face-down Spell Card, Miracle Fusion. This card allows me to Banish cards from my side of the field or Graveyard in order to do a fusion with the banished monsters. But only if they have "Elemental HERO" in their name. I use this to Banish Avian and Burstinatrix in order to Fusion Summon..." Neon said as Burstinatrix and Avian vanished.

"Elemental HERO Flame Wingman!" Neon said as a warrior appeared on the field. One side of him was green and had white wings and a claw. His legs were green as well. His right arm was a dragon. (6/WIND/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK 2100/DEF 1200).

"Next I activate the Spell Card, Raigeki. This card destroys all monsters my opponent controls." Neon said with a smile.

"What!?" Glacier said as his Pilgrim was destroyed.

"Now Flame Wingman, attack Glacier's Life Pints directly!" Neon said as Flame Wingman used his dragon arm to send a large ball of fire towards Glacier Mist. It went straight through him.

"AH!" Glacier yelled out. (LP: 1800-0)

Duel End: Winner: Neon Scroll

Neon smiled as Glacier dropped to his knees. Neon walked over to Glacier Mist as Glacier gave her a star chip.

"This is not over. This is not the last you have heard of me." Glacier said as he walked off angrily.

Dusk, in awe, stood up and walked over to Neon. "Um...thanks for sticking up for me. You are really nice." He said.

"Thanks. I don't like bullies and cheaters. You may have lost, but you are no loser. It could've have gone either way. He shouldn't have picked on you for losing, he should have been a good sport and just taken one star chip." Neon said.

"Yeah...but I lost." Dusk said.

"Sure, you lost. Big whoop. We all have our losses. But as long as we raise our head up high and take pride in our Decks, there is nothing we can't do. Except maybe win, but everyone loses. I mean, just look at Glacier Mist. He just got his flank handed to him in a Duel with a girl. I mean, that's embarrassing." Neon chuckled.

Dusk chuckled. "You're right. Thank you. I will take pride in my Deck, and get stronger." He said with a smile.

"Hey Dusk. Want to join our team? It will be fun to have another team member. We are collecting star chips in order to go into the tournament together." Neon said.

"Sure, I would love to join your group." Dusk smiled.

"It's settled then. Welcome to the team." Neon said bro-hoofing Dusk with a smile. Night rolled his eyes.

"Aren't you a girl? Why do you always act like you're a guy?" Night asked.

"Well, yeah. I am a mare. But I am not one of those girly-girls. I am awesome."

"Yeah, yeah. Okay, so I think our next destination is Canterlot. And since we are in Manehattan, train is probably the best way to travel. So shall we go?" Night asked.

"Yeah!" Dusk and Neon said together.

"Then let's go." Night said as they began to walk towards the train.

Neon Scroll, Flutter Night and Blue Dusk made it to the train. They got on the train to see a large amount of duelists dueling all around the train.

"Wow, this is like a Duel Train!" Neon said with a smile.

"Cool, a perfect way to rack up some stars!" Dusk said.

"Yeah, but at the same time, we should be careful who we duel." Night said.

"Aw, I don't care. The better the duelist, the better the duel. I like an awesome duel. But…I need to use the restroom. I haven't gone to the restroom since I woke up." Neon said.

"Oh, would you like me to go with you?" Night asked.

"Ewwww bro. I may not act like the girliest girl, but I don't want ponies peeking in on me using the restroom." Neon said.

"W-Wait! I didn't mean it like that!" Night said.

"I'm just kidding with ya bro." Neon said with a smile. Night face-hooved. "But I am going alone, see ya in a bit." Neon said going to the restroom.

"Well, okay then." Night said.

Dusk chuckled a bit. "Alright, so...are we gonna duel anypony on this train?" He asked.

"Well, I guess we could. But who?" Night asked.

"Hm..." Dusk looked on as he saw two duelists. They were both mares. One of them was pink, really pink. A light pink coat, a brilliant raspberry mane/tail and light cerulean eyes. She had 2 blue balloons and 1 yellow balloon in between them as her cutie mark. The other had a violet coat with a sapphire blue mane/tail with light rose streaks and violet eyes. She had a large rose-colored star with 5 little white stars surrounding it as her cutie mark. The first one had a pink duel disk while the other had a white duel disk.

"Those two seems like good duelists. Let's duel them." Dusk said with a smile.

"Sure." Night said as they walked over to the two mares. "Hello." He said.

"Hey." The violet one said, with little surprise that a colt and a stallion just walked up to her.

"We were wondering if you and your friend would like to duel us," Night asked.

"Sure, we're game for any duel!" The pink one said with a lot of enthusiasm.

"Great then." Dusk said activating his duel disk. Night did the same.

"Hm...alright. Let's do this then." The violet one said with a smile as she activated her white duel disk, her pink friend did the same.

"Let's duel!" All 4 yelled out.

Night and Dusk: 8000 LP

Mares: 8000 LP

Neon walked out of the mares bathroom with a smile. "Got that taken care of." She sighed. Her ears then perked up as she looked and saw a duelist whom was getting bullied by some other duelists, in a 3 on 1 duel. She walked over and saw the duelist. It was a mare with a butter yellow coat, a pink mane/tail and had cyan blue eyes. The bullies looked the same, must be twins. They had grey coats, a white mane/tail and grey eyes.

Mare: 100 LP
Bullies: 2000 LP

"You won't be able to defeat us with those weak monsters." The bullies said in unison, yep, they are twins.

"W-We'll s-see about that." The mare said drawing a card. She smiled. Right now, she had Naturia Rosewhip (3/EARTH/Plant/Tuner/ATK 400/DEF 1700) in Defense Mode and Naturia Ragweed (3/EARTH/Plant/Effect/ATK 1200/DEF 2000) in Attack Mode. "I am going to Tune my Rosewhip and Ragweed together in order to Synchro Summon..." The mare said said as her two plant's glowed a blue color. They then disappeared.

"Naturia Barkion (6/EARTH/Dragon/Synchro/Effect/ATK 2500/DEF 1800) in Attack Mode." She said as a weird-looking dragon appeared on the field. It had very long horns.

"Heh, not so fast. We activate Bottomless Trap Hole. This means your monster is banished." The bullies said.

"Um...t-that is where you are wrong. I activate Barkion's ability...when a Trap Card is activated, I-I can banish two cards from my Graveyard to negate your Trap, and I choose my Rosewhip and Ragweed." The mare said as Bottomless Trap Hole disappeared.

"Oh no..." The bullies said.

"N-Now Barkion! Attack the bullies' life points directly!" The mare said with confidence as the Dragon attacked them. (LP: 2000-0)

Winner: Mare

"Ah dangit! But Naturia's are weak!" The bullies yelled.

"Then how come they beat you?" Neon asked as she walked behind them. The bullies turned around.

"She got lucky!" The bullies' said as they walked off, furious.

"Hey, you did good. But why didn't you take their star chips?" Neon asked.

"Well, I already have a lot...I guess..." The mare said, Neon looked at her bracelet, it had 6 stars. Neon looked on, very impressed.

"You look like a great duelist. Want to duel?" Neon asked with a smile.

"Um...sure, if that is alright with you..." The mare said with a smile.

"Hey, what's your name?" Neon asked.

"F...Fluttershy..." She said in a very small voice.

"Um, excuse me?" Neon said, as she didn't hear her.

"Fluttershy..." She said again, this time a little bit louder, but still very quiet.

"Alright Fluttershy, my name is Neon Scroll." Neon said with a smile. "And now, let's duel!" Neon said with a smile as she activated her duel disk.

Fluttershy: 4000 LP

Neon: 4000 LP

"I will go first!" Neon said drawing a card. "I start off by discarding from my hand, King of the Swamp. When I discard it, I can bring one "Polymerization" from my Deck to my hand." Neon said as she brought out that card from her deck, shuffled, and then added the card to her hand.

"I now activate it and I will use Elemental HERO Avian and Elemental HERO Burstinatrix in order to Fusion Summon, Elemental HERO Flame Wingman (6/WIND/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK 2100/DEF 1200)!" Neon said as her two warrior's flew into a vortex and out came Flame Wingman.

"I now set two cards from my hand and end my turn." Neon said with a smile, she now had 1 card in her hand.

Fluttershy: 4000 LP

Neon: 4000 LP

"It's my turn." Fluttershy said as she drew a card. "This seems like a good move...I activate the Spell Card, Double Summon. Um...like it says, I can Normal Summon twice this turn. I first Summon, Naturia Guardian (4/EARTH/Plant/Effect/ATK 1600/DEF 400)." Fluttershy said as a tree appeared on the field.

"A tree?" Neon said, slightly confused.

"Y-Yeah...next I summon Naturia Vein (1/EARTH/Plant/Tuner/ATK 200/DEF 300)." She said as a weird blue and green leaf appeared on the field. "I now Tune them together, in order to Synchro Summon..." Fluttershy said as the tree and the leaf glowed green.

"Now Beast, attack Flame Wingman." Fluttershy said as the Beast ran over like a tiger running towards its prey. It pounced on the warrior and destroyed it. (LP: 4000-3400)

"I now set two cards and end my turn." Fluttershy said with a small smirk, she now had no cards in her hand.

"I guess it is my turn, I draw!" Neon said as she drew a card, she now had 2 cards in her hand. "I now activate my face-down Spell Card, Monster Reborn. This card allows me to bring back a monster from either Graveyard. I now bring back Elemental HERO Avain!" Neon said as Avian appeared back on the field. "I now summon Elemental HERO Wildheart (4/EARTH/Warrior/Effect/ATK 1500/DEF 1600)." Neon said as a built warrior with a sword appeared on the field.

"Are you going for a Fusion Summon?" Naturia asked.

"Yes, I activate the Field Spell, Fusion Gate. This card acts like a Polymerization, but I can Fusion Summon as much as I want, but I have to banish the cards instead of sending them to the Graveyard. I now banish Avain and Wildheart in order to Fusion Summon..." Neon said as Avian and Wildheart dissapeared into the fusion gate.

"Elemental HERO Wild Wingman!" Neon said as a strong Elemental HERO Wildheart appeared on the field with some of Avian's characteristics. (8/EARTH/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK 1900/DEF 2300)

"Hm...A level 8 monster with an attack of a Level 4 or 5-6 monster...I bet it has a good effect." Fluttershy said.

"Exactly. But first, I need to get cards back in my hand, I have none. So I activate my face-down Spell Card, Pot of Greed. This card allows me to draw 2 cards from my Deck." Neon said as she drew 2 cards.

'Hm...not enough, gotta draw again.' Neon thought. "I activate another Pot of Greed from my hand, allowing me to draw 2 more cards." Neon said as she had 3 cards in her hand now.

"Perfect. I now activate Common Soul. This Continuous Spell Card allows me to target one monster on the field, and then Special Summon a Neo-Spacian monster on the same side of the field as the selected monster. Also, the selected monster gains ATK equal to the ATK of the Special Summoned monster. I use that to Special Summon, Neo-Spacian Grand Mole (3/EARTH/Rock/Effect/ATK 900/DEF 300) from my Deck." Neon said as a mole with drills appeared on the field. (A: 1900-2800)

"What does that do?" Fluttershy asked.

"Heh, when it attacks a monster, I can bring my monster back to my hand and your monster back to your hand before the battle damage happens." Neon said.

"What!?" Fluttershy yelled out.

"Next I activate Magnum Shield, this card allows me to target a Warrior-Type monster on the field, depending on the monster's position, it gains ATK or DEF equal to its alternate. I choose Wildheart!" Neon said as Wild Wingman picked up the shield. (A: 2800-5100)

"Yes, now Mole! Attack Naturia Beast!" Neon said as the monster attacked, but dissapeared. The lion then dissapeared as well into Fluttershy's Extra Deck.

"I now activate my Wild Wingman's ability, by discarding a card from my hand, I get to destroy 1 Spell/Trap on the field. I discard Wall of Revealing Light in order to destroy 1 of your face-downs!" Neon said as Fluttershy's Trap Card, Call of the Haunted.

"Now, Elemental HERO Wild Wingman, attack Fluttershy's Life Points directly!" Neon said as he punched through Fluttershy. (LP: 4000-0)

"Heh, good game." Fluttershy said with a smile. She took her last Trap Card off her field, which was Magic Cylinder and placed it back into her Deck.

'This is a good Duelist, if it were one of those bullies, I would have activated it. But...Princess Celestia wants only the best in her tournament, and this duelist might one of them.' Fluttershy thought.

"That was a good duel Fluttershy." Neon said with a smile as she walked over to Fluttershy and extended her hoof. Fluttershy shook her hoof with a smile.

"Here you go Neon." Fluttershy said as she took 2 star chips and handed it to Neon.

"Thanks." Neon took it with a smile. Neon now had 5 star chips.

"I guess I'll be leaving now, I got to go meet up with my friends." Fluttershy said.

"Sure, hope I see ya at the tournament." Neon smiled.

"Sure, me too." Fluttershy said in agreement.

"I will first summon Amores of Prophecy in Defense Mode." Twilight said as a weird man wearing a blue and green outfit appeared on the field. He was wrapped up in scrolls. (3/EARTH/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK 600/DEF 2000)

"Next I activate his ability. I reveal my Spellbook of Power in order to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from my hand. I use that ability to Special Summon Strength of Prophecy in Attack Mode." She said as a beautiful girl wearing a red tunic appeared on the field. She had short red hair and had blue eyes. (4/FIRE/Spellcaster/Effect/ATK 1500/DEF 1400).

"Hm..." Night said.

"I now activate Spellbook of Secrets. This card allows me to bring 1 'Spellbook" card from my Deck to my hand. I use that to bring The Grand Spellbook Tower to my hand." Twilight said as she brought the card to her hand and shuffled her Deck.

"Now, I have a Spellbook card in my Graveyard. So I use Strength's ability, by shuffling Spellbook of Secrets back into my Deck, I can choose 1 Spellcaster-Type monster on the field and increase its level by 1 and its ATK by 500. And I choose Amores of Prophecy." Twilight said. (LV: 3-4) (A: 600-1100)

"Wait...You are going to XYZ Summon?" Night asked.

"Correct. I use Amores and Strength in order to create an overlay network." Twilight said as a red, spiraling portal appeared. Amores and Strength turned into little energy balls.

"I now XYZ Summon, Downerd Magician." Twilight said as a girl with long blue hair and blue eyes appeared on the field. She had green goggles over her hair and was wearing a red outfit. (Rank 4/DARK/Spellcaster/XYZ/Effect/ATK 2100/DEF 200).

"Wow, that was cool." Night said.

"Thanks. She also gets a 200 ATK for each XYZ Material attached to her. (A: 2100-2500)

"I now set 3 cards face-down and end my turn." Twilight said setting her 3 cards on the Spell/Trap Zone and ending her turn.

"My turn!" Dusk said drawing his card. "I activate Charge of the Light Brigade, this card allows me to send the top 3 cards of my Deck to the Graveyard and add 1 Level 4 or lower Lightsworn monster from my Deck to my hand.' Dusk said as he milled Wulf, Ryko and Lumina. "Since Wulf was sent from my Deck to the Graveyard, I get to Special Summon him to the field." Dusk said as a humanoid warrior-like wolf appeared on the field. (4/LIGHT/Beast-Warrior/Effect/ATK 2100/DEF 300).

"Now, I add from my Deck to my hand, Ehren, Lightsworn Monk. Now I sacrifice Wulf in order to summon Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon." Dusk said as Wulf disappeared and the large dragon appeared on the field. (6/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK 2000/1600) "It gains 300 ATK and DEF for each Lightsworn monster with a different name in my Graveyard. And that is 3. (A: 2000-2900) (D: 1600-2500)

"I now activate Solar Recharge. This card allows me to discard a Lightsworn monster, draw 2 card, then mill 2 cards. I discard Jain, Lightsworn Paladin and draw 2 cards." Dusk said as he did so. "Now I mill." Dusk said as he milled Shire, Lightsworn Spirit and Wulf, Lightsworn Beast.

"Beast now gets Special Summoned." Dusk said as the Beast appeared back on the field. "Also, my Dragon gets a boost of power." (A: 2900- 3500) (D: 2500-3100)

"Now I set 3 cards face-down and end my turn. But first, since my Dragon is on the field, I mill 3 cards." Dusk said as he milled Lightsworn Barrier, Glorious Illusion and Vanquishing Light. He ended his turn with two cards in his hand.

"My turn!" Pinkie Pie said as she drew a card. "I summon Ojama Red into Attack Mode." Pinkie said as a small red beast appeared on the field, wearing a red thong. (2/LIGHT/Beast/Effect/ATK 0/DEF 1000)

"What the..." Night said sort of disgusted.

"I activate his effect, when he is Normal Summoned, I can Special Summoned up to 4 "Ojama" monsters onto the field. I will only Special Summon 3, which is good for me. I Special Summon "Ojama Yellow" "Ojama Green" and "Ojama Black" onto the field." Pinkie Pie said as Green, Blue and Black beasts appeared on the field, wearing the same clothing. (2/LIGHT/Beast/Effect/ATK 0/DEF 1000)

Dusk looked on, sort of horrified.

"I overlay Ojama Black and Ojama Green in order to XYZ Summon Gachi Gachi Gantestsu into Defense Mode. (Rank 2/EARTH/Rock/XYZ/Effect/ATK 500/1800). His ability is that all face-up monster we control gain 200 ATK and DEF for each XYZ Material attached to this card. (A: 500-900) (D: 1800-2200)

"And that means my monster as well." Twilight said. (A: 2500-2900) (D: 2200-2600)

"And now I overlay Ojama Yellow and Ojama Red in order to XYZ Summon another Gachi Gachi Gantetsu in Defense Mode. Which means another boost. (Both Gantetsu's: ATK: 1300. DEF: 2600) (Downerd: ATK: 2900-3300) (D: 2600-3000)

"Now I set two cards face-down and end my turn." Pinkie Pie said as she didn't have any cards left in her hand.

"That was horrifying, now I draw." Night said as he drew a card. "Since I am the 4th player, we can now attack this turn. But you seem to have built a wall for yourselves. Two Defense monsters with 2600 DEF and a monster with 3300 ATK on the field. But I will get through this. I start off by activating the Continuous Spell Card, Wave-Motion Inferno. I also activate another Continuous Spell, Infernity Launcher." Night said.

"What do those do?" Twilight asked.

"Well. I will show you. I activate Infernity Launcher's effect. It alows me to send 1 "Infernity" monster from my hand to the Graveyard. I send Infernity Beetle to my Graveyard." Night said as he sent a card to the Graveyard.

"Why would you do that?" Twilight asked.

"You will see." Night said. "I activate Monster Reborn, bringing back my Infernity Beetle from the Graveyard." Night said as a beetle with a two long horns appeared on the field. (2/DARK/Insect/Tuner/ATK 1200/DEF 0)

"Next I set a card face-down." Night said as he no longer had any cards in his hand. 'Perfect...' Night thought with a smile.

"I activate Beetle's effect. Since I have no cards in my hand, I can Tribute Beetle to Special Summon up to 2 "Infernity Beetle" from my Deck in Defense Mode." Night said as the beetle dissapeared and two more appeared on the field.

"I will end my turn." Night said. "Until next turn."

"My turn then." Twilight said as she drew a card. She now had 2 card in her hand, 1 monster on the field, and 3 set Traps/Spells. "I activate from my hand, The Grand Spellbook Tower. It doesn't do much right now, but trust me it will. Next I activate my face-down Continuous Spell Card, Spellbook Star Hall. This card gains 1 Spell Counter on it everytime a "Spellbook" Spell Card is used, and my Spellcaster monsters gain 100 ATK for each Spell Counter on it. I first activate another face-down Spell, Spellbook of Power, which means Spellbook Star Hall gains a counter to it. (C: 0-1). Spellbook of Power allows me to choose 1 Spellcaster monster on the field and increase its ATK by 1000 until the End Phase. And I choose Downerd Magician. (A: 3300-4400)"

"Wow, that monster is getting a lot of power." Dusk said.

"Next I activate my face-down Spell, Spellbook of the Master. This card can only activate when I have a Spellcaster-Type monster on my side of the field, which I do. By revealing my Spellbook of Wisdom in my hand, I get to choose a "Spellbook" Normal Spell Card in my Gravetard and Spellbook of the Master gains that effect. I choose Spellbook of Power to increase my Magician's ATK again. (C: 1-2) (A: 4400-5500)

"Yes. Next I activate my last card from my hand, Spellbook of Wisdom, which means I choose a Spellcaster-Type monster and I get to choose whether or not it is unaffected by Spells or Traps. I choose Traps. Also, Starhall gains a counter. (C: 2-3) (A: 5500- 5600).

"Wow." Dusk said.

"Now, Downerd Magician, attack Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon!" Twilight said as her magician threw one of her potions at the Dragon, who was destroyed. (LP: 8000-5900)

"Downerd's effect activates, when it is attacked or attacked, it loses one of its XYZ Materials." Twilight said. (OU: 2-1) (A: 5600-5400)

"And I end my turn with that." Twilight said. (A: 5400-3400)

"That was a nice move, but it is my turn, I draw!" Dusk said, drawing a card, now he had 3 cards in his hand, no monsters on the field, and 3 cards face-down. "Great, I have plenty of Lightsworns in my Graveyard. That means I get to Special Summon Judgment Dragon on the field." Dusk said as a huge Dragon appeared on the field. (8/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK 3000/DEF 2600)

"Whoa!" Night, Twilight and Pinkie said.

"Now I activate his effect. I pay 1000 Life Points to destroy all other cards on the field." Dusk said.

"What are you doing!?" Night yelled out in anger.

"Trust me Night, I got this." Dusk said.

"Gr...alright, fine." Night said.

"Great." Dusk said. (LP: 5900-4900). Every other card on the field was destroyed, except for the two Gachi Gachi Gangetsu that Pinkie controlled.

"Huh?" Dusk said in confusion.

"By detaching one XYZ Material from them, they avoid being destroyed. (OU: 2-1) (A: 1300-900) (D: 2600- 2200)." Pinkie said.

"Well, it really does not matter. I get to Special Summon another Judgment Dragon onto the field." Dusk said as there were two Dragons on the field. "And don't think I am finished, I activate Monster Reborn to bring back Gragonith from the Graveyard." Dusk said as the three dragons were on the field. (Gragonith: (A: 2000-3500) (D: 1600- 3100)

"Oh dear." Twilight said.

"That is right, now my three Dragons, attack Twilight directly!" Dusk said as all three dragons blowed out fire that went through Twilight. (LP: 8000-5000) (LP: 5000-2000) (LP: 2000-0)

Twilight and Pinkie: 0 LP

"So, you beat us. Our group is called the Mane Six, we are a group of duelist who work for the Princess. We duel and if we beat someone, they give up 2 stars instead of one, but our reward is better, we give out 2 if we lose. So here you go." Twilight said as she and Pinkie Pie awarded Night and Dusk with two star chips.

"Awesome." Night and Dusk said. Dusk now had 3 star chips and Night had 4.

"Congrats." Twilight and Pinkie said. "Well, we gotta go. We are going to duel more opponents." They said.

"Aw, that's too bad. We could hang out with each other." Night said.

"We have a duty. How about we hang out after the tournament?" Twilight said with a smile.

"Sure thing. See you later." Night said.

"Bye for now." Twilight said walking off with Pinkie Pie.

"Alright Dusk, let's go find Neon." Night said. "By the way, that was a good combo you did. I see you aren't that bad of a duelist after all." Night said.

"Thanks." Dusk said.

"Hey guys," Neon said behind them. They turned around and saw her. She now had 5 star chips.

"So you faced one of the Mane Six too?" Night asked.

"Huh? Mane Six? I just dueled, and my opponent gave me two star chips. It was an awesome duel." Neon said.

"We just faced two duelists just like that, and we had an awesome duel as well." Dusk said. The train stopped.

"Well, I guess that means we are in Canterlot. That was kind of short. But Manehattan isn't really far from Canterlot anyways." Neon said.

"Alright, let's go." Night said as the three walked out. They looked and saw the town, full of rich ponies and duelists.

"Awesome, I can't wait to duel!" Neon said with a smile.

Elsewhere...

A colt wearing a blue hoodie was walking through the snowy mountains. "Just how I like it." He said. He found a nearby cave and entered. As he entered the cave, he pulled off his hood, it was Glacier Mist.

"Guys, I am back." Glacier Mist said. He looked over, it was dark, but in the darkness, there were 13 throne chairs. One of them was empty. In the other 12, were various ponies, 1 was a griffon.

"Welcome back Glacier Mist, you are just in time. Soon, we will be entering this tournament, and the de-throning of Princess Celestia will begin. The world will soon become consumed by darkness, and there is no way Celestia can stop us." One of them said, with a dark and sinister snicker.

Welcome back to My Little Pony: Duel Monsters are Magic! I hope you all will like this chapter. Trust me; it all gets better from here.

My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro and Yu-Gi-Oh belongs to Kazuki Takahashi, I own nothing but my OC's and the story idea, besides the fact that it is the Duelist Kingdom arc from the first series, except with a lot changed to it.

Night, Dusk and Neon walked through Canterlot, enjoying the scenery. "This is a lovely place." Neon said.

"Yeah…" Dusk said looking around. There were many ponies around, a lot of them were rich and looked really snobby.

"Anyways, Neon, you got 5 stars now. You are half-way there to being in the tournament." Night said.

"Yeah," She said looking at the bracelet. It started to glow, her eyebrow raised. She then saw that everyone else's bracelets were glowing too. A hologram of Princess Celestia appeared on everypony's bracelet.

She said to everyone, "The first duelist in the Duelist Kingdom Tournament has been entered. Trixie Lulamoon has been entered." She said as she disappeared.

"A pony has already been entered!? How!? We only started this tournament today!" Night yelled out.

"There is 16 spots in the tournament. We gotta duel more." Neon said.

"Agreed. Let's split up around town and duel as many duelists as possible." Dusk said.

"Good idea. But, it will be dark soon. So we duel one opponent, then we meet up at the hotel to where we can get some sleep." Neon said.

"Alright, let's go then." Night said as the three split up.

Elsewhere…

Trixie was walking through Canterlot. "It's amazing, Trixie is the first one to the enter the tournament. Trixie will make Ms. Moon proud by gathering the star chips for the team. Of course, Trixie is always first, hehe." The blue mare said as she walked around Canterlot. Her bracelet already had 10 star chips in it.

"Now, who's Trixie's next victim?" She asked herself as she looked around. She set her sights on Neon. "Ah, that must be the mare that defeated Glacier Mist. Just as he described. This will be a perfect chance to rub it in his face." She said with a devious smile.

"Hey!" She called out, Neon's ears perked up as she turned to Trixie. Trixie walked over to her. "Would you like the pleasure of dueling The Great and Powerful Trixie?" She asked.

"Trixie? Trixie Lulamoon? The first one to be entered in the tournament?" Neon asked.

"Yes, it is Trixie whom shall win the tournament." She said with a cocky smile.

"We'll see about that, sure, I accept your challenge Trixie." Neon said with an eager smile. They both got out their duel disks. "Let's duel!" They both said.

"I'll start first!" Neon said, drawing a card. "I'll start by activating the Field Spell, Fusion Gate! With this card, I can fuse monsters as if I am using a Polymerization, but I banish the cards instead. I fuse from my hand, Elemental HERO Wildheart and Bladedge in order to Fusion Summon Elemental HERO Wildedge!" Neon said as Wildheart and Bladedge were pulled into the gate and sent to the banish zone as a large man with Bladedge's golden pelvis, helmet, left leg and right arm with Wildheart's body and sword. He had multiple swords on his back. (8/EARTH/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK 2600/DEF 2300)

"Next I set two cards face-down and end my turn." Neon said with 1 card in her hand.

Neon: 4000 LP

Trixie: 4000 LP

"Next it is Trixie's turn." Trixie said drawing a card. "Ah, this is a marvelous move. First Trixie will rid you of your Field Spell by activating Light Barrier." She said as the Gate was taken down and the ground below them started to glow with a bright yellow light. "It can't do anything since it is Trixie's Main Phase now, but next turn it will be awesome."

"Next Trixie will Normal Summon Arcana Force VI- The Lovers (4/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect/ATK 1600/DEF 1600) into Attack Mode. His effects activates, which means Trixie will flip a coin to decide his effect." Trixie said as she flipped the coin, it landed heads. "Alright then, next Trixie activates Double Summon. Which means Trixie can Normal Summon once again. Trixie shall now sacrifice The Magician to Tribute Summon Arcana Force VIII- Strength (5/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect/ATK 1800/DEF 1800) into Attack Mode." Trixie said as the monster appeared on the field.

"Trixie shall now flip a coin." She said flipping it once again, it landed on heads. "Excellent. Trixie activates Strength's effect, which means Trixie can take control of one of your monsters. Now Wildedge comes to Trixie!" Trixie said as Wildedge's eyes glowed green and he walked over to Trixie's side of the field.

"Now Wildedge attack Neon's Life Points directly!" Trixie said as Wildedge pulled out his sword and attacked Neon.

"Sorry man, I am sorry to do this. But I activate the Trap Card, Mirror Force!" Neon said as Wildedge stopped at a reflecting wall, which destroyed both Wildedge and Strength.

"That was smart, but now Trixie activates Monster Reborn, bringing back Strength from Trixie's Graveyard." Trixie said as Strength was brought back to the field.

"Trixie now sets a card face-down and end her turn." She said as she had no cards in her hand.

Neon: 4000 LP

Trixie: 4000 LP

"My turn! I draw!" Neon said as she drew a card. She smiled.

"I start with activating from my hand, Burial from a Different Dimension. With this card, I can select up to 3 banished cards from either player's graveyard and put them back into the Graveyard. I choose my Elemental HERO Bladedge and Elemental HERO Wildheart and put them into the Grave!" Neon said as they switched from the banish zone to the Graveyard.

"Next I activate my face-down Miracle Fusion. This card allows me to banish from my side of the field or the graveyard in order to Fusion Summon an Elemental HERO monster. By banishing Elemental HERO Bladedge and Elemental HERO Wildheart once again, I will bring forth Elemental HERO Gaia!" Neon said as the two monsters began to swirl in a circle as they disappeared and Elemental HERO Gaia appeared on the field. (6/EARTH/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK 2200/DEF 2600)

"Interesting." Trixie said.

"I now activate his ability, when he is Fusion Summoned, I choose one of my opponent's monsters and my monster gains half of its ATK while your monster loses that amount. I choose Strength!" Neon said as Strength glowed brown, Trixie was shocked. (A: 1800-900) (A: 2200-3100)

"Now Gaia, attack Strength!" Neon said as the large warrior punched straight through Strength. (LP: 4000-1800)

"I will end my turn." She said with 1 card in her hand. (A: 3100-2200)

Neon: 4000 LP

Trixie: 1800 LP

Trixie drew a card. "Trixie activates Field Barrier's effect. Trixie shall now flip a coin." Trixie said as she flipped a coin, it was heads.

"Trixie's luck is amazing. I now activate the face-down Cup of Ace. Trixie shall now flip a coin, if it lands on heads, Trixie shall draw 2 cards, the opposite happens if it lands on tails." She said as she flipped a coin, it landed on heads.

"Trixie draws 2!" Trixie said as she drew 2 cards, she now had 3 cards in her hand. "Trixie activates Change of Heart which allows Trixie to take control of one of your monsters. Trixie takes control of Gaia!" She said as Gaia came to her side of the field.

"Next Trixie activates Monster Reborn! This allows Trixie to bring back a monster from either player's Graveyard and bring it back to the field. Trixie brings back Arcana Force VI-The Lovers!" "He can only be Normal Summoned while I control an "Arcana Force" monster, and unlike the others, he doesn't have an effect that requires a coin toss. But, when he is Normal Summoned, Trixie gets to draw 1 card." Trixie said as she drew a card.

"Trixie has drawn the best card possible. By sending all 3 cards Trixie controls to the Graveyard, Trixie Special Summons...Arcana Force EX-The Light Ruler!" Trixie said as Gaia, Lovers and Judgment disappeared and a large beast with two dragon heads coming from its back appeared on the field. (10/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect/ATK 4000/DEF 4000)

"Whoa!" Neon said as she witnessed the large monster with the highest base ATK power she had ever seen.

"Now Trixie activates his Tails effect. Now Arcana Force EX-The Light Ruler, attack Neon's Life Points directly!" Trixie said as her monster blew fire balls from its dragon mouths.

"Not so fast, I activate the Trap Card, Magic Cylinder! With this I will negate your attack and you take all the battle damage!" Neon said.

"That is where you are wrong. Trixie activated The Light Ruler's effect. When a Trap Card, Spell Card, or Monster Effect activates that targets it, my monster loses 1000 ATK and negates that effect." Trixie said as Magic Cylinder was destroyed and the fire-ball went through. (A: 4000-3000) (LP: 4000-1000)

"I set my final card face-down and I end my turn." Trixie said as her turn ended.

Neon: 1000 LP

Trixie: 1800 LP

"Wow, that was close. I draw!" Neon said as she drew a card, she now had 2 cards in her hand. "I activate Pot of Greed, which allows me to draw 2 cards!" Neon said as she now had 3 cards in her hand.

"Perfect. I activate Polymerization!" Neon said.

"Another Fusion!?" Trixie yelled out.

"Yes, I fuse Elemental HERO Sparkman and I replace Elemental HERO Flame Wingman with King of the Swamp to Fusion Summon, Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman!" Neon said as the King of the Swamp and Sparkman flew into a swirling vortex and a warrior wearing white and yellow armor with large white metal wings appeared on the field. (8/LIGHT/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK 2500/DEF 2100)

"My Shining Flare Wingman gains 300 ATK for every Elemental HERO Monster in my Graveyard, which I have 3, Gaia, Sparkman and Wildedge. (A: 2500-3400)

"What!? But that is stronger than my monster!" Trixie yelled out.

"Yep, and now Shining Flare Wingman, attack Arcana Force EX- The Light Ruler!" Neon said as her monster went to destroy the large monster.

"I'm afraid not! I activate the Trap Card, Arcana Save! With this card, when an "Arcana Force" monster gets targeted for an attack, I can Tribute my monster and I gain Life Points equal to that monster's original ATK." Trixie said as her monster disappeared. (LP: 1800-5800)

"Wow, but that doesn't negate my attack, so Shining Flare Wingman, attack her Life Points directly with Solar Flare!" Neon said as Shining Flare Wingman punched straight through Trixie. (LP: 5800-2400)

"Thankfully, I still have Life Points." Trixie said.

"Hey." Neon said.

"What?" Trixie asked.

"You have stopped speaking in 3rd pony." Neon said.

"Hm? Oh, I, I mean, Trixie was in the heat of battle. Trixie hasn't been like that in a long time." Trixie said.

"Oh really? Does that mean that I am good?" Neon asked.

"Significantly better than most Trixie would say. You are an interesting mare, but Trixie will win this duel." Trixie said.

"Alright then! Your move!" Neon said.

Neon: 1000 LP

Trixie: 2400 LP

"Alright then." Trixie said as she drew a card, she had 1 card in her hand and nothing on the field. "Field Barrier activates, which means Trixie has to flip a coin again." Trixie said as she flipped the coin, it landed heads.

"Awesome. Now Trixie activates another Cup of Ace." Trixie said as she flipped a coin, it landed on heads. "Trixie draws 2!" Trixie said as she drew 2 cards.

"Trixie summons Arcana Force 0- The Fool in Attack Mode. (1/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect/ATK 0/DEF 0)

"Why Summon a weak card like that?" Neon asked.

"Because Trixie cannot Summon him in any other way besides Attack Mode, except with a card effect. I also choose his Heads effect. Trixie now activates Pentacle of Ace! With this card, Trixie flips a coin." Trixie said as she flipped a coin, it landed heads.

"Yes! With this card, Trixie selects 1 Arcana Force monster and switch it to Defense Mode and Trixie gains 500 Life Points times its Level." Trixie said as it did just that. (LP: 2400-2900)

"With that Trixie ends her turn!" Trixie said as her turn ended.

Neon: 1000 LP

"Awesome, my turn!" Neon said as she drew a card. "Great, this will come in handy." Neon said.

"But first, Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman, attack The Fool with Solar Flare!" Neon said as her monster punched The Fool, but it stayed on the field. "Huh!?"

"Arcana Force 0- The Fool cannot be destroyed by battle." Trixie said.

"What!? That's ridiculous! Gr...fine, I will just have to destroy it with a card effect. But for now, I end my turn!" Neon said as she ended her turn with one card in her hand.

Trixie: 2900 LP

Trixie drew a card, then she set it face-down in the Spell/Trap Zone. "Trixie ends her turn."

"Alright, my turn!" Neon said as she drew a card, she now had 2 cards in her hand.

"Awesome, first I activate Change of Heart. With this, I get to select one card you control and take control of it until the End Phase. I choose your Fool!" Neon said as Fool went to her field.

"That is ridiculous." Trixie said a bit angry.

"And to make sure no pesky Traps get my HERO, I will activate Giant Trunade. Which means all Traps and Spell return to our hand." Neon said as Trixie's Trap, Magic Cylinder was returned to the hand.

"But that means Trixie is defenseless!" Trixie yelled out.

"That's right. Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman, attack Trixie's Life Points directly with Solar Flare!" Neon said as her monster punched straight through Trixie.

"AH!" Trixie yelled out. (LP: 2900-0)

"And that's game!" Neon said with a smile.

"That was...accelerating. Trixie liked that duel way more than the others." Trixie said with a smile.

"Thanks Trixie. That was an awesome duel." Neon said.

"You're welcome. As a reward, here you go. Even though Trixie had 10 chips, Trixie was challenged more, so Trixie has more chips than 10. Trixie has 13, so Trixie shall give you the other 3." Trixie said handing 3 chips to Neon. Neon took them with a wider smile, now she had 8 stars. 2 more from realizing her dream.

"Hope you do well in your travels. And Trixie will prove at the tournament that Trixie can beat you!" Trixie said with a smile as she threw a smoke bomb on the ground. The gas eventually went away, but when it did, Neon could see her running off.

"Can't wait." Neon said with a chuckle. "Wonder what the others are doing." She thought.

Welcome back to My Little Pony: Duel Monsters are Magic! In this chapter, we introduce a new OC! Hope you like her.

My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro and Yu-Gi-Oh belongs to Kazuki Takahashi, I own nothing but my OC's and the story idea, besides the fact that it is the Duelist Kingdom arc from the first series, except with a lot changed to it.

Dusk was walking around Canterlot looking for an opponent. Nopony around was actually dueling, they were taking breaks. But Dusk wasn't ready to take a break. He wanted to get his star chips as fast as possible. He looked around and saw a filly laying down next to a tree. She was small, had a red coat and light orange and red mane/tail with red being the dominant color. This was odd, what pony in their right mind would rest in the middle of public where their star chips can be easily stolen? Dusk decided to check it out. He slowly began to walk over until he felt something on his leg. He looked down, it was a rope. Something triggered as the rope tightened around his hoof and pulled him upside down. Dusk was hanging from a tree.

"So I see my trap has worked." The filly said looking up at Dusk. "Were you trying to steal my star chips?" The filly said looking at Dusk with her rose red eyes.

"No. I was coming over to see why you were sleeping, when somepony could easily come and steal your star chips. Now I see why." Dusk said.

"Nice story. But I don't believe it. Thief, prepare yourself." The filly said as she grabbed a knife, which terrified Dusk. She then threw it at the rope as it was cut. Dusk then fell down onto his head. He grabbed the back of his head in pain.

"Oh, that hurt!"

The filly pulled out her deck and black duel disk. "Get up thief and duel me." She said with a determined expression.

Dusk got up slowly. "Duel? Sure, I'm game!" Dusk said activating his duel disk.

"I am going to teach you a lesson thief. My name is Rose Thorn, and let that name ring through your head as you are defeated!" Rose Thorn said with a smile.

"Um, alright." Dusk said, confused by her mannerisms.

Dusk: 4000 LP

Rose: 4000 LP

"I'll start off first thief!" Rose said as she drew a card.

"Okay, stop calling me thief. My name is Blue Dusk, and I am no thief." Dusk said.

"Beat me in this duel, and I won't call you that anymore. But for now, I am going to call you thief." Rose said.

"Fine, whatever."

"Since I control no monsters, I get to Special Summon Steelswarm Cell from my hand!" Rose said as a weird beetle appeared on the field. (1/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK 0/DEF 0).

"Next, I activate One for One. With this card, I get to discard 1 monster from my hand so I can Special Summon 1 Level 1 monster from my hand or Deck." Rose said as she discarded a monster. "And with that, I Special Summon another Steelswarm Cell from my Deck on the field!" Rose said as another beetle appeared on the field.

"But both of them have 0 ATK points? What do you plan on doing with them?" Dusk said.

"Well, you see thief, I cannot use them for a Synchro Summon or a Tribute Summon. But, I can only Tribute them if the Tribute Monster I Summon is a "Steelswarm" monster. But before I do that, I Normal Summon Steelswarm Caller from my Hand!" Rose said as a weird humanoid moth appeared on the field. (4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK 1700/DEF 0).

"Hm...what is she planning?" Dusk thought.

"I now activate the Spell Card, Double Summon. With this, I can Normal Summon another monster on the field. I am going to Tribute all 3 of my monsters, in order to Normal Summon, my boss monster, Steelswarm Hercules!" Rose said as the 2 beetles and the moth disappeared and a large black creature appeared on the field. (10/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK 3200/DEF 0)

"Whoa!" Dusk said looking up at the large creature.

"Also, whenever a Steelswarm monster is Tribute Summoned using Steelswarm Caller, I get to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Steelswarm monster from my Deck. I choose Steelswarm Sting in Attack Mode!" Rose said as a hornet appeared on the field. (4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK 1850/DEF 0)

"I'll end my turn at that." Rose said with a smile.

Dusk: 4000 LP

Rose: 4000 LP

"My turn then." Dusk said as he drew a card.

'She seems very confident in her abilities. I need to be as confident as her if I want to win this duel.' Dusk thought.

"I start off by activating Charge of the Light Brigade. By milling the top 3 cards of my Deck, I can add a Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster to my hand." Dusk said as his deck milled three cards, which were a Judgment Dragon, Wulf, Lightsworn Beast and Jain, Lightsworn Paladin.

"I add from my Deck to my hand, Jain, Lightsworn Paladin. Now, I activate the effect of Wulf, when he is sent from my Deck to the Graveyard, I am allowed to Special Summon him from the Graveyard." Dusk said as a humanoid wolf appeared on the field. (4/LIGHT/Beast-Warrior/Effect/ATK 2100/DEF 300)

"Hm? Interesting. But there is no beating my Steelswarm Hercules." Rose said.

"Oh, I don't plan on destroying him. Because now I Tribute my Wulf to Tribute Summon Celestia, Lightsworn Angel!" Dusk said as the wolf disappeared and an angel appeared on the field with white wings. (5/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect/ATK 2300/DEF 200)

"Hm? Beautiful monster I'd have to say. But still, its ATK points aren't good enough to beat my monster." Rose said.

"Oh? Did I not just say I wasn't planning on beating him by battle. I plan on using Celestia's effect. By milling 4 cards from my Deck, I get to destroy 2 cards that you control." Dusk said.

"But I only control 2 cards" Rose yelled out.

"Yep." Dusk said as his Deck milled Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter, Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress, Jenis, Lightsworn Mender and Realm of Light. Both Steelswarm Hercules and Steelswarm Sting were destroyed.

"But that means I am defenseless..." Rose said.

"And that is not all. In my Graveyard, I hold Ryko, Lyla, Wulf, Jenis and Jain. 5 Lightsworn monsters with different names, which means that I can now Special Summon MY boss monster. Come forth, Judgment Dragon!" Dusk said as a large dragon with angel wings appeared on the field. (8/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK 3000/DEF 2600)

"Judgment Dragon and Celestia, attack Rose directly!" Dusk said as the Celestia jumped on top of the Dragon. They both went straight through Rose. (LP: 4000-0)

(Winner: Dusk)

"Wow, you are good. Dusk." Rose said with a smile.

"Oh! So you are calling me Dusk now, not thief?" Dusk said with a wink. Rose blushed.

"Sorry about that. But a filly's got to be careful in this world. I wasn't born with parents, so I had to raise myself as a strong filly." Rose said.

"You are an orphan too?" Dusk asked.

"Yes. I never knew my family and I was never put into an orphanage. I rather not talk about how I was raised, because I try to forget my past." Rose said looking down.

"Don't worry. The past is the past. If it was bad, don't let it get you down. The past is just a memory, the present and future is what a lot of ponies should be focusing on." Dusk said.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Rose said.

"Now. Since I beat you in a duel, do you have a star chip you can give?" Dusk asked.

"Actually..." Rose said as she held out her bracelet, it had only 1.

"Wow. And you thought I would steal your star chip. That would be just heartless of a pony." Dusk said.

"Here you go Dusk. My last star chip, which means I am out of this tournament..." Rose said with a sigh.

Dusk looked at her hoof, which had the star chip on it. Dusk touched her hoof and pushed it back to her. "No. You keep the star chip." Dusk said.

"What? But why? I lost." Rose said.

"Well. I don't think it would be wise taking a teammate's star chips." Dusk said.

"What? What do you mean teammate?" Rose asked.

"Well, I belong to a team called Team Heroes. I am sure they would let you join. Neon and Night are really nice and we can work together helping each other gather 10 star chips to enter the tournament. What d'ya say, wanna join?" Dusk asked with a smile.

Rose thought about it. 'If I join, then I would get help entering the tournament.' Rose smiled. "Sure, if they will let me, I will join your group."

"Awesome. Come on, I think we can find Night and ask him if you can join." Dusk said as they began walking off, looking for Night.

Elsewhere...

"So Trixie and Glacier Mist were defeated by this Neon Scroll. Hmph, I base it solely on luck." One of the ponies sitting in their throne chair in the shadows said.

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Can I duel her!?" Another one asked in a slightly higher pitch voice. It sounded like a filly.

"No. First, you must take out the traitor first." The other responded.

"Aw...fine. I guess its my time to shine then." The filly said as she stepped off her throne chair. She walked into the light. She was a small black coated filly. She had a long black mane with pink highlights and she had pink eyes.

"Rose Thorn. Time for a reunion of doom." The filly smiled as she walked off.

Welcome back to Duel Monsters are Magic! This might have been my favorite duel writing. Believe me, it was awesome writing such a fantastic thing. Prepare yourself; this will be a long chapter.

Neon was walking around, looking for both Night and Dusk. She reached the town square, which was in the center of town. There were many rich ponies there, but she turned around and saw Dusk and Rose sitting on a bench next to a fountain. They looked like a couple. Neon walked over to them.

"Sup Dusk?" Neon said with a smile. Dusk looked at her.

"Oh hey Neon." Dusk said.

"Who's this cute little filly?" Neon asked with a smile, which caused Rose to blush slightly.

"I-I'm not cute! I'm tough!" Rose said, but was secretly a bit flattered.

"This is Rose. I and her dueled and I won. But, I decided not to take her last star chip. Truth is, I want her to join the team. I think she would make a fine addition to the group." Dusk said.

"Hm…" Neon said examining Rose. "Sure, but first, we have to find Night. We can't simply let everypony join our group, or our group will be too large, and thus we might be late to enter the tournament. So, we find Night, and then ask him. Since I approved of Rose and I already know you have, he will decide if she joins or not."

"Awesome. I won't let anypony down, I will join this group and we will all get in the tournament." Rose said with a determined smile.

"So let's go find Night." Dusk said as they all got up and walked to find Night.

Night was looking around, looking for an opponent to duel. It was getting dark, and he really wanted to collect the stars to get into the tournament.
Rarity, the 4th member of the Mane Six was walking around as well, looking for an opponent. She examined the others' star chips. Everypony around had 1 or 2 stars.

"I really want to duel somepony with a high enough skill. It would be a promising duel." Rarity said.

"How about me?" A voice asked from behind. She turned around and it was Night. He had 4.

"Hm...4. I guess that would be a good duel. My name is Rarity, and sure, if you want to duel, let's." Rarity said with a smile as her white duel disk turned on.

"Alright then! Let's get this duel started, shall we?" Night said as his duel disk activated as well.

Rarity: 4000 LP

Night: 4000 LP

"I shall go first." Rarity said as she drew a card.

"First, I will Normal Summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus into Attack Mode." Rarity said as a white horse with wings and a horn appeared on the field. It had two sapphires on its wings. (4/WIND/Beast/Effect/ATK 1800/DEF 1200)

"That is a beautiful monster, but why Summon something in Attack Mode on your first turn? You never know what I may have in my Deck." Night asked.

"Well. Because when he is Summoned, I can activate his effect. When he is Summoned, I can place 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from my hand, Deck, or Graveyard face-up in my Spell/Trap Zone. And I use that effect to bring Crystal Beast Cobalt Eagle from my Deck and place it there." Rarity said as eagle appeared behind the Pegasus. The eagle had cobalt stones in its wings.

"Next, I set two cards face-down and end my turn." Rarity said as two face-down cards appeared next to the eagle.

Rarity: 4000 LP

Night: 4000 LP

"My turn!" Night said as he drew a card. He smiled.

"I Summon Infernity Beetle (2/DARK/Insect/Tuner/ATK 1200/DEF 0) in Defense Mode and I set five cards face-down and end my turn." Night said.

"That's it? With that smile, I expected more from you." Rarity said.

Rarity: 4000 LP

Night: 4000 LP

"I draw then." Rarity said as she drew a card, she now had 4 cards in her hand.

"I summon Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat into Attack Mode." Rarity said as a pink panther appeared on the field. It was wearing a crest with an Amethyst stone. (3/EARTH/Beast/Effect/ATK 1200/DEF 400)

"I activate its effect. I can attack directly with it, but if I use its effect, the damage is halved. Now Cat, attack Night directly." Rarity said as the cat went to attack Night. It started scratching him. (LP: 4000-3400)

"And now, Sapphire Pegasus, attack Beetle!" Rarity said as the Pegasus soared at it.

"Not so fast, I activate the Trap Card, Infernity Force. If I have no cards in my hand and you select an "Infernity" monster as an attack target, I get to destroy that card and Special Summon an Infernity monster from my Graveyard. Unfortunately, I do not have an Infernity monster in my Graveyard, but your monster is still destroyed." Night said the Beast moved to the Spell/Trap Zone.

"Huh?" Night said in confusion.

"You see, if a "Crystal Beast" is about to be destroyed, I can send it to the Spell/Trap Zone instead." Rarity said.

"Gr...okay."

"With that, I will end my turn." Rarity said as she ended her turn with 3 cards in her hand.

Rarity: 4000 LP

Night: 3400 LP

"I will go now." Night said as he drew a card. He had 1 card in his hand. "Perfect. I reveal from my hand, Infernity Archfiend. You see, if I have no other cards in my hand but this one, and I draw it, I can Special Summon it to the field." Night said as a humanoid creature with a weird outfit appeared on the field. (4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK 1800/DEF 1200)

"And when he is Special Summoned and I have no cards in my hand, I get to add 1 "Infernity" card from my Deck to my hand." Night said as he brought "Infernity Barrier" from his Deck to his hand.

"I will set that card as well." Night said as a face-down card appeared. He now had 5 Traps/Spells and 2 monsters. And no cards in his hand.

"I know activate Infernity Beetle's effect. If I have no cards in my hand, I can Tribute it, and Special Summon another 2 from the Deck." Night said as the beetle disappeared and 2 beetles took its place.

"Now I activate my face-down Continuous Spell, Wave-Motion Inferno. While I have no cards in my hand, all "Infernity" monsters gain 400 ATK and DEF." Night said. (A: 1200-1600) (A: 1200-1600) (A: 1800-2200)

"Now Beetle, attack Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat." Night said as the beetle went straight through the cat, but it jumped back into the Spell/Trap Zone. (LP: 4000-3600)

"Now the other Beetle, attack her Life Points directly!" Night said as the beetle flew at Rarity.

"Not so fast, I activate the Trap Card, Negate Attack. Now the Battle Phase is over." Rarity said.

"Hm? Why didn't you activate it before my other beetle attacked your monster?" Night asked.

"Because she wasn't needed in my Monster Zone. She likes the Spell/Trap Zone better." Rarity said.

"Um...alright. Well, with that, I end my turn." Night said.

Rarity: 3600 LP

Night: 3400 LP

"My turn then." Rarity said as she drew a card, she now had 4 cards in her hand. "I activate my face-down Spell Card, Rare Value. With this, you get to pick one of my Crystal Beasts in my Spell/Trap Zone and send it to the Graveyard. But I get to draw 2 cards." Rarity said.

"I choose your Sapphire Pegasus." Night said as the Pegasus disappeared and Rarity drew 2 cards, making 6 cards in her hand. Now she had only 2 Crystal Beasts in her Spell/Trap Zone.

"Now I activate the Spell Card, Monster Reborn. With this, I will be able to bring Pegasus back from the Graveyard." Rarity said as the Pegasus appeared, but in the Monster Zone.

"Now his effect activates again, which means I bring Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise to join the party." Rarity said as an old tortoise with an emerald shell appeared next to the Eagle and Panther.

"And finally, I activate the Equip Spell Mage Power. With this, I choose Pegasus. He now gains 500 ATK for each Spell and Trap Card I control. Which also counts my Crystal Beasts. Which means he gains 2000 ATK points." Rarity said as the Pegasus glowed blue. (A: 1800-3800)

"So that is why you let me take out your Cat, you wanted to boost your monster's ATK points with Mage Power." Night said.

"Of course darling. Now Pegasus, attack Infernity Beetle!" Rarity said as the Pegasus flew towards the beetle.

"Not so fast, I activate the Trap Card, Infernity Break. By removing my Infernity Beetle in my Graveyard, I get to destroy Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus." Night said as his Beetle was taken from his Graveyard and Pegasus was brought to the Spell and Trap Zone while Mage Power left the field.

"Nice move. Now since I did not Normal Summon this turn, I will summon Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth in Defense Mode." Rarity said as a blue mammoth appeared on the field with an amber stone on its forehead. (4/EARTH/Beast/Effect/ATK 1700/DEF 1600)

"And I'll set a Spell/Trap face-down and end my turn." Rarity said as she ended her turn with 2 cards in her hand, a monster on the field and 4 Crystal Beasts in her Spell/Trap Zone along with a face-down.

Rarity: 3600 LP

Night: 3400 LP

"Your Deck is good. I like it. But it is my turn." Night said as he drew a card.

"Now I am going to sacrifice my Infernity Beetle in order to Tribute Summon, Infernity Archer into Attack Mode." Night said as the beetle disappeared and a large humanoid creature wearing green, yellow and orange armor appeared. It had a gigantic bow that matched its armor. (6/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK 2000/DEF 1000)

"But, he is not staying for long. Prepare for the end Rarity, because I am going to tune my Archer and Beetle together." Night said as his monsters, besides Infernity Archfiend glowed black and dissapeared like a mist. (6+2=8)

"Come forth, Infernity Doom Dragon!" Night yelled out as a gigantic dragon appeared on the field. It was black and had a veiny body. For claws, it had pincers and its head had some weird horns on the tops of its head. Inside the horns, was its visible brain. Beneath the horns, were its eyes. On the bottom of the Dragon, was a long tail, extended from its pelvic region. The Dragon, was amazingly scary. (8/DARK/Dragon/Synchro/Effect/ATK 3000/DEF 2400)

"Wow..." Rarity said, mostly shaken from the sight of the beast.

"And, thanks to Wave-Motion Inferno, he gains another 400 ATK and DEF points." Night said with a wicked smile. (A: 3000-3400) (D: 2400-2800)

"Now, Infernity Archfiend, attack Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth." Night said as Infernity Archfiend floated over towards the Mammoth.

"Not so fast, I activate my Trap. Negate Attack!" Rarity said as Infernity Archfiend was sent back to Night's side of the field.

"Gr...fine then. During my Main Phase 2, I activate Infernity Doom Dragon's Special Ability. If I have no cards in my hand, I can select 1 monster you control and destroy it. Also, inflict damage equal to half of the monster's ATK points. At the cost of not being able to attack, coincidence huh?" Night said with a smile. "And I choose your Amber Mammoth!" Night said as Mammoth dissapeared from the field and appeared in the Spell/Trap Zone. (LP:3600-2750)

"Ugh..." Rarity said, feeling some pain for an unknown reason.

"Now I will end my turn." Night said.

Rarity: 1900 LP

Night: 3400 LP

'I have Sapphire, Amethyst, Cobalt, Amber and Emerald in my Spell/Trap Zone. All I need is Topaz and Ruby, and I can summon the greatest monster in Duel Monsters history. But, I have a feeling that if I don't end it this turn, this duel is over. Come on Rarity, think!' Rarity was in deep thought.

"Hurry up and make a move!" Night said a bit frustrated.

"Fine. I draw!" Rarity said as she drew a card. "PERFECT!" Rarity said excitedly.

"Trying to look tough? Please, it won't work. I will win this duel." Night declared.

"Not after I activate this. I activate the Field Spell known as Ancient City-Rainbow Ruins!" Rarity declared as Rarity and Night were surrounded by ancient ruins. "This card has decided your fate Night. With each "Crystal Beast" in my Spell/Trap Zone, I can activate multiple effect. If I have 1 in my Spell/Trap Zone, Rainbow Ruins cannot be destroyed by card effects. If there are 2, Once per turn, I can halve the battle damage I take from an attack. If there are 3, I can negate any Spell and Trap by simply sending a Crystal Beast I control to the Graveyard. If there are 4, I can draw an extra card during my Main Phase. And if there are a full 5, I can Special Summon 1 of them from my Spell/Trap Zone." Rarity declared.

"Wait, what!? That's such an over-powered card." Night responded.

"What do you mean over-powered!? That card is over-powered!" Rarity shouted pointing at Infernity Doom Dragon.

"Point taken." Night responded with a sly smile, infuriating Rarity.

"That's it! I activate Rainbow Ruins' 4th effect, drawing another card." Rarity said as she drew a card. She now had 3 cards in her hand.

"Now, 5th effect. I Special Summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus from my Spell and Trap Zone! Go!" Rarity said as Pegasus teleported out of the Spell/Trap Zone and appeared in the Monster Zone. "Now I activate Pegasus's effect to bring Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger from my Deck to my Spell/Trap Zone." Rarity said as a Tiger appeared on the field with spikes on it.

"Now, lastly. Come forth the last Crystal Beast! Ruby Carbuncle!" Rarity said as she summoned a cute kitten with 4 long cat ears and a tail which had a ruby stone at the end of it. She had red ruby-colored eyes. (3/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect/ATK 300/DEF 300)

"That is an adorable monster, but nothing that cute will lower my defense." Night assured Rarity.

"Whatever. Now, I have assembled all the Crystal Beasts." Rarity said with a sly smile.

"That's it? This duel was even easier than I thought." Night said.

"No, it's not it. You will see the true power of the Crystal Beasts. Come forth, my best card, RAINBOW DRAGON!" Rarity declared as all the Crystal Beasts glowed in their individual stone colors and shone a light that almost blinded both Night and Rarity. When they recovered their vision and looked up, they saw a beautiful dragon that had the seven stones on its body along with its beautiful white scales and giant white wings. (10/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK 4000/DEF 0)

"That's...not possible." Night declared in disbelief at the sight before him.

"Yes, at this time, you are defeated Night. My marvelous Rainbow Dragon, attack his Infernity Doom Dragon!" Rarity commanded as the Dragon soared straight at Night's monster.

"Not so fast, I activate Infernity Break!" Night yelled out.

"And I activate Rainbow Ruins' ability, by sending Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle to the Graveyard, I negate that effect!" Rarity said as the kitten disappeared and Night's trap blew up. Rainbow Dragon flew straight through his Dragon and obliterated it.

"Noooooooooo!" Night yelled out. (LP: 3400-2800)

"Do you want to give up now Night?" Rarity asked.

"Of course not! A true duelist never gives up!" Night yelled out.

"Fine then, with that I will end my turn." Rarity announced.

Rarity: 2750 LP

Night: 2800 LP

"Ugh! Damnit! That Rainbow Dragon is strong, but I will not allow it to beat me!" Night yelled as he drew a card quickly, he now had 1 card in his hand, 4 cards face-down and Infernity Archfiend.

"I activate my face-down, Monster Reborn. I shall bring back my Infernity Doom Dragon!" Night yelled out as his Dragon appeared back from the Graveyard.

"Next I activate Call of the Haunted! Which means I bring back Infernity Beetle from my Graveyard." Night said as the beetle appeared on the field. "I now Normal Summon Infernity Dwarf!" Night said as a dwarf with a flaming axe appeared on the field. (2/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK 800/DEF 500)

"Now I tune Infernity Archfiend, Infernity Beetle and Infernity Dwarf in order to Synchro Summon..." Night said as all of them dissapeared (4+2+2=8)

"Void Ogre Dragon!" Night yelled out as a large black dragon with a large red aura appeared on the field, it had red orbs on its body and roared loudly. (8/DARK/Dragon/Synchro/Effect/ATK 3000/DEF 3000)

"I now activate Infernity Doom Dragon's Effect. If I have no cards in my hand, I get to pick one monster you control and destroy it, then inflict damage equal to half its ATK. I choose your RAINBOW DRAGON!" Night yelled out as Rainbow Dragon glew black and blew up. Rarity was then pushed back by its massive explosion.

"AHHH!" Rarity yelled out. (LP: 2750-750)

"And now, Void Ogre Dragon, attack Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus!" Night declared as the large dragon ripped through the small beast. (LP: 750-0)

Night smiled wickedly as his dragons floated above him after the duel. His eyes were different, they were red. "Well it seems you lost, such a shame, that Dragon of yours was strong. But my Dragons are just too powerful for any duelist to compete with. I will win that tournament and become the BEST duelist around. Oh wait, I already am. Now, give me what you promised." Night said as he held out his hand for the star chips.

Rarity smirked at him. "That was quite an awesome duel. So here you go, two star chips for your victory." Rarity said as she handed him two star chips.

"Only two? Are you sure you don't want to give me more?" Night said slightly frustrated.

"Well, that's what the Elements give out. If you don't like it, you can always give them back." Rarity said with a coy smile.

"Or I can force them from you?" Night said seriously as his two dragons floated above him.

"Why would you do that? If you are the great duelist you say you are, you will earn them like everyone else." Rarity chuckled fearlessly.

"Yeah, you're right. I am only kidding." Night chuckled as his two dragons returned to his extra deck and his eyes turned back into their original color.

"So, you have 6 star chips now. Almost there to entering the tournament." Rarity complimented.

"Very close. But I am still behind my sister it seems. I need to duel her eventually, maybe at the tournament or before. She is strong and I want to prove to her that I am the best in the family." Night said determined.

"Best in the family?" A voice said behind Night. He turned around to see Neon, Dusk and Rose. It was Neon's voice. "Oh Night, you know that I am not the best in our family. Our older brother is."

"Wait, you have another brother?" Dusk asked.

"Well yes. He is one of the strongest duelist in Equestria. His name is Night Shade, but we call him Shade." Neon explained.

"Whoa! You mean THE Night Shade is your brother!? He is my idol!" Rose blurted out.

"Yeah, and he is my rival. I will beat him one day." Night told them.

"Good luck. He has won so many tournaments, he may as well be declared the best duelist in the world. He was so good he was forbidden to play in this tournament." Dusk said.

"Wait, what!? So that means I can't beat him in the tournament!? Gr...!" Night growled in anger.

"Don't worry Night, you'll get the chance to duel him someday. Maybe if you win the tournament, he would see you as a viable opponent to duel." Neon suggested.

"Ugh, fine. But that means I will have to defeat you in the tournament. Which I will do." Night told Neon.

"Good luck with that, I won't back down from a duel with my brother." Neon said with a cocky smile. Some sparks were almost seen between them like they were ready to duel now.

"Oh, I forgot," Neon said, breaking the friction. "This here is Rose Thorn. She wants to join the group. But first I need your permission. Me and Dusk agree she will be a fine addition to the group."

Night looked at Thorn and kneeled down to her. "Are you a good duelist?" He asked.

"Good doesn't even come up to the amount of amazing I am in a duel." Rose said.

"Confident, I like that. Sure, you can join." Night smiled as a wide smile appeared on Rose's face.

"Come on guys, it's getting dark. Let's get going to the hotel." Dusk suggested.

"Okay, let's." They said as they walked off.
