A Blue Fire, a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic fanfiction.

Disclaimer: Before you yell at me, I shall say the proper crap who belongs to who.

My Little Pony FiP belongs to Hasbro I believe. And Em belongs to meeeeee.

    But all other ponies...?

    ...

    Yeah... they belongs to Hasbro too. If only I could own Derpy... ;n;

    Chapter One: A Firey Desert

'Ello. I live at Liverpool. No, it's a place where mud colored water filled with liver is. It's a bloody town. Get it right.

Of course, my life isn't perfect though. I got the most common name in the world and I despise it. But everyone I know just calls me Em.

So, where does my story start exactly? Oh, erm, let me remember when I still human. I was teased by everyone for being different. In different I mean by being a rebel and being sarcastic and actually think for once. I'm surrounded by idiots but they treat me like a moron.

I trudge a lot in the hallways before someone screams in a disgusting joy as they push me over and then I get trampled alive by other people. Sometimes, I just... wish that I could get away from it all. But I'm being suicidal or anything. I'd never give up. I'm a fighter and I always will be. Also stubborn. A bit too stubborn to be blunt. It's my main downfall.

But let's turn that negative into a positive. I'm not stubborn, I'm just really, really determined.

    Hm...

    That sounds right.

But then suddenly someone pulls me back to reality when Savanna yanks as hard as she possibly could on my wavy brunette hair. I grunted in suprise as she pulled me to the ground. I looked up at her chocolate brown eyes and sandy brown hair. Her perfect baby face seemed to be glowing with satisfaction.

"Why can't you just go away?" She asked letting me go. I felt my face scrape the concrete when my books flew out of my arms. Blood coated the ground and rocks were scattered across my cheeks.

"Because I'm just a figment of your imagination." I said snidely as I pulled back on my blue glasses.

"You're insane." She scoffed as she pushed her shoe against my back.

I grinned and beared the weight of her heavy shoe. "I'm not insane. My reality is just a lot different from yours."

Then she pushed my face back down on the already bloody concrete. I felt my glasses shatter and I shut my eyes protecting myself the best I can from the shards. I'm a fighter. I'm a fighter, I'm a fighter.

"Why do you keep resisting people all the time, Emnoob?" Hissed Savanna letting the weight of the world off my back. I lay there facedown in the sidewalk. I didn't want to give in. Not...

    Not q-quite yet...

I stood up and let my glasses frames stay on the ground. I whirled around to face Savanna. She looked shocked as I swiped my leg underneath her unsuspecting foot. She shreiked as I wiped the smile off her face. Her eyes were as wide as saucers and filled with pain when she was knocked to the ground. I got down and set my sneaker on her stomach. She oofed and stared up at me.

I didn't say anything as I picked up a branch off the ground. Then I stopped myself.

The voices told me to swing the branch down on her neck and to break it. The voices always annoyed me. For the most part, I've learned to block them out. But sometimes they wriggle back into my mind like a persistant worm that wanted to so desperately reach the air after stuffing itself on an apple.

    "Look at Em, go!"

I turned around and spotted a crowd of boys and girls. Even some college kids. I blushed and got off of Savanna, throwing my stick back onto that lawn I found it on.

"I'm s-sorry." I stuttered. No doubt that she was going to tattle to everyone in the school and tell the teachers. Then it'll get to my parents.

    Ugh, I hate my life.

"Don't be." Savanna said suprisingly. "I totally had it coming. But you also have it coming. It's all good." I stepped back. Did she just smirk?

"Em! What the hell is this all about!?" Shreiked my dad waving the medical report in my face. I didn't move.

"You need to pull yourself together before you get suspended!" He continued ranting on and on while I tuned him out.

I need friends. I need to be accepted. I sighed and looked out the window as he droned on and on. I want to get away so badly. So bloody badly.

My dad pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "Just... go to your room."

I nodded and obidiently went to my blue bathed room. Icy blue and cobalt was in every little spot you'd see on the walls.

I plopped into my bed, deciding to not take my medication.

I want the voices to come.

At least I'll have someone to talk to.

    2. The Yellow Horse with Pink Hair

Chapter Two: The Yellow Horse with Pink Hair

Author's Note: So, a little warning to all of you; YES. I AM A PEGASISTER.

Good, now that's out of the way, I shall continue my story. *Smiles like Pinkie Pie and hands everyone a cupcake* o3o

As soon as I opened my eyes, I knew something was wrong. I moaned and looked down. I was lying on bright emerald green grass. But something was wrong with my limbs.

I slowly searched for my hands or arms but couldn't find either. I blinked then glanced at my arms. Only to find that they are stubby pale blue hooves. A strand of long royal navy blue hair fell in front of my eye. Instinctively, I raised my hoof and brushed it away. What's going on?

I calmly searched through my memories, faintly feeling Savanna's foot on my back, my dad yelling at me, then me falling into my bed to sleep off all my stress. So, this is an insane dream.

    Haha... that's so funny.

But I was still curious what I looked like. So I looked around and observed my surroundings. I was in a forest. With lots of bushes and a small puddle near a bush over there...

I trotted over to the puddle and stared at my newfound reflection. I was a pony. A bloody pony.

My skin, er, fur was a pale blue with a dark blue mane. My eyes were a pale golden color like the rising sun. And even more disturbing? I had wings. They were cobalt and their feathers shimmered like stars in the night sky. I flicked my wing experimentally and stared at it. I folded them back in delicatly. My muzzle was dotted with lightly darker blue freckles than my skin.

Suddenly, I felt a soft tap on my shoulder. I shreiked and fell face-first into the water. Water rushed all around my ears and soaked my hair (or mane, whatever). I gasped as I brought my head up from the water. Through my blurry eyes, I saw a cream colored pony with bubblegum pink hair. Her teal blue eyes suddenly gleamed with fear and her tail spiked up.

"Eep! Sorry!" The cream colored pony gasped, "I thought you were lost."

I stared in disbelief. Ponies can talk?

This is the strangest dream of my life.

"Are you okay?" The pony asked putting out a hoof. I blinked in confusion. Was I supposed to grab it? She retracted it immediatly and shrank back. "I'm sorry. I'm Fluttershy. What is your name?"

I still was trying to recover from the shock of this talking pony. I looked at her sides and saw that she had small wings as well. Was everyone here a pegasus?

"Can you talk at all?" She pressed on sounding a little scared.

"I-I can talk." I muttered getting up from the puddle, my long hair was soaked and it dragged on the muddy ground. My tail was strangely long too. And very messy. "My name's Em."

"That's an... awefully strange name." Observed Fluttershy quietly. "Don't you have another name? You must've hit your head or something."

I felt my face heat up like lava. Em is a strange name? Well, so is Fluttershy.

But maybe she's right. Maybe I have hit my head really hard and I got my name mixed up. So if I'm not Em, then who am I?

Fluttershy gently wrapped her small wing around my soaking fur. "I'll get you to my house. Where you can heal up."

She guided me through the forest as she weaved around the trees like she knew them as well as the back of her hand. Er, hoof. Wait, do hooves have backs or are they just stumpy-stumps?

Twigs got caught in my mane and tail and I cursed silently. Fluttershy looked at me apoligetically and then kept walking. I gasped at her beautiful home made of a tree and most of it was covered in leaves. Flowers dotted the hill where her house stood. I stared it dumbly as a rabbit leaped up to Fluttershy. She smiled and nuzzled the little white bunny before it tilted it's head and stared at me.

"This is, erm, a guest." Said Fluttershy, still disbelieving of my name. She glanced at me and flicked her ear. "This is Angel, my pet rabbit."

"Nice to, um, meet you." I said quietly feeling my eye begin to twitch. The rabbit blinked then hopped off. Fluttershy lead me into her house and she left me hanging outside. She turned around and motioned for me to enter. I slowly followed and cowered low at every little movement. She whirled around slowly and then asked, "where are you from? Have you fallen from Cloudsdale?"

    "Cloudsdale...?"

She sighed. "It's worse than I have originally thought. Maybe Twilight Sparkle would find out what's wrong with you."

"Who's Twilight Sparkle?" I asked Fluttershy feeling stupid.

She grinned and led me back outside. "Twilight is the smartest pony I know."

    3. What's My Name Now?

Chapter Three: What's my name now?

"Twilight?" Asked Fluttershy knocking in a door politely, "can I come in? I got someone here who can't remember anything."

No, it's not that I don't remember. It's that I just don't know. I decided not to argue against it though.

There was a breif hesitation before I heard a voice, "oh, yes. Come in."

Fluttershy gently pushed open the door and in the middle of the room, was a purple unicorn with trimmed black hair. Her muzzle was buried in a book being held by a mysterious force emenating from her horn. She turned around and gazed at us with her violet eyes. She blinked and set down the book, the magic disappearing. She stepped towards me and examined me.

"What's your name?" She asked me.

I didn't want to say 'Em' again and get that same strange look I got from Fluttershy. I shrugged and hung my head like I've been defeated in a serious battle. "I don't remember."

The unicorn tilted her head. "She's got a pretty wild mane. It seems like she's been through a lot."

    "I-I have." I lied.

    "But do you remember?"

    "No."

Fluttershy looked at the purple pony. "She's pretty strange. She doesn't know anything about Cloudsdale or Ponyville. Can you please figure out what's wrong, Twilight?"

Twilight sighed and looked me over again. "I got a theory. Maybe she was a rock or a beetle before another pony came over and practiced magic on her, turning her into a pegasus. Then perhaps darted off before this pony could regain full consiousness."

"I thought she might've fallen out of Cloudsdale." Said Fluttershy. Then she looked at me right in the eye. "Do you think there's anything we could call you?"

I gulped and looked at Twilight Sparkle again. Hopefully she had a faint idea what she could call me. Because to be honest, I don't have any clue what to call myself now. And if this were a dream, I'd already be awake. I have to finally face the music; I'm a pony.

"Well, her wings stand out." Twilight's voice brought me back to reality.

"Yeah, she's pale but her wings are a deep cobalt. I've never seen a pony with seperate colored wings before."

Twilight smiled and then clapped her hooves together. "That's it! We can call you Cobalt Wings!"

Fluttershy smiled. "It's a beautiful name. How do you feel about it?"

I turned my head around to stare at my large wings. They were much larger than Fluttershy's puny wings. I shuddered for no apparent reason. Twilight put her hoof on my shoulder. "We can tour you through the city. Would you like your tail and hair trimmed?"

I nodded like a clueless idiot and walked outside with Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle. On the cobblestone streets, there were even more ponies. There were ponies with wings, or maybe with a horn, or sometimes both. But most of them had no wings or horn. Some of them grinned. But they didn't grin a good way. I noticed that almost all of them had symbols on their flank. Such as a paintbrush or an apple.

I noticed one silver pony with glasses look at me and a smile played across her lips. Her eyes were narrowed as she mouthed at me, "blank flank." Then trotted off.

I tilted my head. Blank flank?

Twilight or Fluttershy didn't seem to notice. They kept walking as if nothing happened. Up ahead was a small boutique with many gems around it and beautiful flowers that glowed in the sunlight. We walked inside and there was a white unicorn with dark purple curled hair. On her flank was a figure of three diamonds. She turned around and faced us. Her beauty was dazzling, I almost bowed down to her instinctively. I almost forgot to blink as well. Not to mention breathe.

Who thought ponies could be pretty?

She smiled and said happily to me, "hello there. I'm Rarity. What's your name?"

"Cobalt Wings." I muttered. "Could you maybe trim my mane and tail."

Twilight flicked her ear and watched Rarity simply led me to seat. I flopped myself down tiredly and relaxed as the unicorn got some scissors to my mane. The royal blue hair flew down to the floor in long, useless strands. She let one side of my hair cover my face with a few parting strands to reveal my other golden eye. Where it reached my neck, it was purposefully layered to look raggedy. She happily hummed a song as she cut my tail hair to just be an eighth of what it used to be. I twitched my ear and smiled at my reflection. I actually looked pretty nice!

"There you go, Cobalt," hummed Rarity.

"Do you want us to continue your tour of Ponyville?" Asked Twilight, "or would you like to see it yourself?"

"It'd be nice to have some company." I admitted.

Twilight grinned and took my hoof and led me outside. Fluttershy followed while Rarity stayed at the Boutique. But we didn't get very far walking when I saw a flash of orange heading straight to us. I blinked but then everything went dark for a breif moment. As soon as my eyes blinked open, I saw a pair of stem green eyes and orange fur. His unicorn horn was glowing yellow, carrying a small worn out brown satchel. He was wearing a jet black hood, covering his mane and shading his forhead.

"T-take this!" He whispered frantically to me, "meet me at the Everfree forest outskirts when you see a gimpy crow fly across the sky. J-just protect this with your life!"

I was about to say to him that protecting this little satchel with my life is a little over the top but I couldn't respond when he sprinted down the streets as ponies stared at him. Then shrugged.

Fluttershy raced forward and helped me get back up.

"Are you okay?" The yellow colored pegasus asked kindly.

I nodded and stared at the satchel.

"Did you know that pony?" Asked Twilight picking up the satchel with magical levitating powers from her horn, "why is this so important?"

I shrugged and hung my head. I'm such a good use to what's going on right now. However, that pony seemed to scared and afraid of something, or someone.

"Should we take to the library and check it out?" Continued the purple colored unicorn. I shook my head and stared at the bag. What was so important in this bag that it needed to be protected at all costs? So I clenched it in my teeth and swung it over my neck. I tilted my head up at the sky and spotted a small jet black crow in the sky with a bent mustard yellow beak and screwed up wing. It cawed loudly and continued on through the sky.

That must be the gimpy crow.

"I need to go," I muttered as I shot off into the direction of the forest.
