"Are you a fan of My Little Pony?"

An ad popped-up while Dylan was searching through Equestria Daily. Normally he would just close the ad but this one intrigued him.

Dylan clicked 'Next' on the ad and another line popped-up. "If you think you are then answer this questionnaire and if you get them all right you and other lucky few will get to try 'Equestria' with a Virtual Reality Helmet before anyone else does."

Dylan gave the ad a shot and started answering the questions. To him, it was easy. After he finished in big words showed "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU WON! Just print out this receipt and give it to your local GameStop to get your game. Disclaimer: game not available until June/24 1 PM EST. Servers aren't online until June/25."

Dylan printed out the receipt and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Dylan combed his dirty blonde hair, cleaned his glasses, and then left the bathroom. Dylan walked over to his room and put on his jacket then walked over to the printer.

Dylan grabbed the receipt and got his skateboard out of the closet. Dylan took his phone out of his pocket and looked at it, June/24 12:45 Friday.

Folding the receipt into his pocket, Dylan walked out of his house, locking it behind him. Dylan hopped onto his skateboard and started skating to GameStop.

Arriving 20 minutes later, Dylan walked in. Seeing several children with their parents looking at the games Dylan saw a lot of people at the cash register, some were children with parents, others were 13-17 guys and girls, each walking out with the same item, Equestria.

Dylan walked up to the counter and waited his turn. When it came to him he handed the receipt to the GameStop clerks who looked at him for moment then started looking for another Equestria game. Dylan just turned 18 the past year, so he stood out fairly well. Dylan got his game and left GameStop, getting back onto his skateboard, and went home.

Once he arrived home he opened the box, Dylan always loved unboxing stuff. After he took out Equestria he put it into his computer and ran the installer. After a few minutes of installing it asked for the Virtual Reality helmet to be plugged in, which Dylan did.

The estimated time of it being done was over 8 hours, Dylan sighed but then remembered that servers didn't come online till June/25 which was tomorrow.

For the rest of the day Dylan either skateboarded, played his guitar, watch old My Little Pony videos, or played a game called 'Legend of Equestria' the game was in the process of being made 5 years ago in 2013.

Since then the game came out, there has been several more seasons of My Little Pony, not to mention a lot more shirts and toys. Dylan always wanted to go to a convention but could never find the time due to him being a Boy Scout, but now that he is 18 he might be able to go this year.

It got to midnight and Dylan decided to go to bed, waiting to play Equestria tomorrow.

Note from the author: yes I know this is a short chapter (very short) but it's a prologue. The main point of the story will be coming next chapter which shouldn't take too long.

    2. Chapter 2

Waking up in the morning Dylan got his glasses and changed his clothes like every other person in the world. Dylan walked over to his guitar and did his daily routine with it by playing a few songs in the morning, making sure he was able to remember the songs.

Dylan put his guitar back and walked over to his computer "Complete." He saw on the screen. Dylan clicked Finish on the game and proceeded to run it.

On started up there was a character selection screen, since it was the first time used Dylan had to create a character. Dylan clicked New Character and saw a pony creator that he was used to.

Dylan proceeded to make one of his OCs (Original Character), which had navy blue fur with a black mane and tail with a navy blue streak through both. Dylan finished the OC by adding dark red eyes.

Dylan then proceeded to make his profile. His name was 'Cuber' like his OC's name, and he put 'Dylan' as his real name. Dylan started creating his profile and added some things he likes and didn't like, along with some things he did.

Once he clicked finish the screen showed "Please put on VRH," which Dylan proceeded to do so.

After he put it on the next thing Dylan noticed was that he was staring at the sky. Dylan got up and looked at himself, he looked just like his OC. Due to programming Dylan knew how to walk already and also run, including holding objects and using them.

A screen suddenly popped-up in front of Dylan which showed "Welcome to, Equestria. This game has not a lot to do with the show My Little Pony except with the scenery meaning that you will hardly find any NPCs in this game relating to the show. The only NPCs you will find is stuff you will do for quests. Would you like to go through the tutorial?"

After reading that painfully long message Dylan used his hoof to touch the word Yes. The scenery suddenly changed from the outside to a small room with a light. Another message popped-up "Welcome to the tutorial of Equestria, now get your orientation by walking to the marker."

Dylan looked around and saw a green arrow pointing at the ground. Dylan proceed to walk towards it then the arrow disappeared, "Good," a new message popped up, "Now try running to this next marker." The wall in front of Dylan collapsed and showed a hallway with an arrow at the other end, Dylan proceeded to run to the marker. When he arrived, like last time, the mark disappeared.

"Good, now put you hoof out in front of you and hold it for a few seconds then swipe down to bring up the menu."

Dylan did what he was told and a short menu came up showing several options, Profile, Friends, Options, and Game Controls. "Good, now touch the X on the upper right hand corner to close it." Dylan closed the menu and smiled, knowing that this game shouldn't be too hard to handle.

"Next if you say to bring up your compass, in front of you will be displayed a compass showing you where if you have to go if needed to go somewhere." Walls slowly started going down, creating somewhat of a maze, "Now bring up you compass I would like you to find the next marker."

"Bring up my compass," Dylan said in a stern voice, next thing he saw was a compass a bit over his head with an arrow pointing in front of him. Dylan walked around in the maze looking up at the compass making sure he didn't pass where he needed to go.

When he arrived where the arrow was pointed there was a pony standing there, Rainbow Dash. "Good, now put away your compass and walk up to the NPC to start talking to it."

"Take away my compass," Dylan said in a stern voice again, the compass vanish and Dylan walked up to the NPC.

Rainbow Dash the NPC started talking, "You have finished the tutorial, would you like to go back to the original gameplay?"

    "Yeah, sure," Dylan responded.

The room vanished as he was transported back to where he was to begin with. Dylan saw other ponies walking around and talking to each other. Dylan held his hoof up and looked like he was clicking on one of the ponies in the background. A profile page came up and showed her name and real name along with her profile summary. At the bottom showed "Add as friend," and also "Block."

Dylan just closed the menu and walked around. Looking up at the sky Dylan saw pegasi flying, and when Dylan looked around he saw several unicorns doing magic. "I guess other races have other tutorials," Dylan thought.

Dylan, being an earth pony, didn't have that much in his tutorial since he didn't have any other special abilities.

Dylan looked around at everypony and saw that nopony had Cutie Marks, Dylan only guessed that like in My Little Pony, everypony got their Cutie Marks when they find their special talent.

Dylan didn't know what to do so he just went to Sugarcube Corner and sat outside. He saw ponies walking in and out of Sugarcube Corner, some mares, other stallions. Some alone, other with friends.

After a few minutes of sitting there a random mare walked up to him and said "Hey."

Note from the author: This is my newest story in case you couldn't tell already, here is an actual chapter for you people. I want to take note that I will use some OCs you decide to give me but I need it discreet (OC name, real name (if you want), mane/tail style/color, coat color, eye color, race, Cutie Mark (well soon to be cutie mark for now), and anything else you want me to know). I already have an idea of who I want this random mare to be but the person may not want me to use it so feel free to send in your OCs. Also your OC can be male or female (obviously) so don't think I'm only looking for one gender.

    3. Chapter 3

Note from the author: well thankfully dragon outcast allowed me to use the OC that he sent me for another story as the random mare.

    "Hi," Dylan responded.

The mare had a black colored coat almost as dark as midnight. The mane and tail was a shade of crimson, a bit unkept. Her eyes shined blue.

"Why are you sitting out here alone?" The mare asked.

"I have nothing better to do, so I just figured I'd sit here."

"Well I know a place we can go, if you would like to follow me."

    "Well…"

    "Please?" The mare grinned.

    "Alright…" Dylan sighed standing up.

The mare started walking away and Dylan shortly followed. After a few minutes the mare asked "So what's your name?"

    "Cuber," Dylan responded.

"Nice to meet you Cuber, I'm Cameron," she replied.

"So Cameron, where are we going?"

"Just follow me and you'll find out."

After a few minutes they arrive at a field of flowers just past the crust of the Everfree Forest.

"This is what you wanted to show me?" Dylan said as the smell of the flowers hit his nose.

    "Mhmm," Cameron responded.

"Well, honestly, I know this looks, feels, and even smells real, I know this is a video game, it's nothing like reality…"

"What is reality Cuber?" Cameron said walking next to Dylan, "Reality is what you make it, I'm sure you know this, if it smells real, looks real, feels real, who's to say it isn't?" Cameron said walking in front of Dylan looking at him in the eyes.

Dylan reached down and plucked a flower and held it up, "Well I was real interested in programming, and when I see this, I can tell it's just pixels in a computer game," Dylan let the flower go and it flew away in the wind.

Dylan looked back up to see Cameron inches away from his face, "If you believe hard enough, anything could be real, even the softness of touches… the warmth of others…" Cameron leaned in and kissed Dylan.

The action caught Dylan by surprised. Cameron pulled away blushing, she smiled showing her teeth, Dylan noticed something about them.

"I can't help but notice that you have fangs for teeth," Dylan pointed out.

    Cameron's blush reddened, "It's uh, it's nothing."

"No it's not nothing," Dylan started, making Cameron frown, "They're beautiful," he said kissing Cameron. She smiled and kissed back.

When they pulled away they were both slightly blushing, "So, uh, I gotta go back to my friends, see ya later?" Cameron asked, adding Dylan as a friend.

A screen popped-up in front of Dylan "Cameron wants to be your friend," with an 'Accept' and 'Decline' button. Dylan clicked Accept and said "Yeah, see ya later."

Cameron waved goodbye and ran back to her friends. A message popped-up in front of Dylan "Now that you have a friend, you can open up your friends list, go ahead and open it now."

"Open my friends list," Dylan said, right after he said it the friends list opened showing a box with only one name on it, 'Cameron'. Another message showed "Now that you have friends you can send them messages and see when they were last online."

Dylan clicked on Cameron's name and it showed her profile, but instead of showing just 'Add friend' or 'Block' it showed 'Send a message', 'Remove friend', and it showed a dialog that read 'Last online: Now'.

"Close my friends list," Dylan said, and the friends list disappeared. Dylan walked over to Sugarcube Corner.

When he arrived he walked up to the counter and met a NPC, Pinkie Pie, "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, what can I get for you?"

"Just a cupcake would be fine."

"One cupcake coming up! That will be 3 bits!"

A screen popped-up "A cupcake is 3 bits, would you like to pay now? Current bit amount: 2000."

"Of course I want to pay now," Dylan said. The screen disappeared and Pinkie Pie went off to bake a cupcake. After a minute she came back and hoofed Dylan the cupcake. He took it and walked over to a random seat.

After sitting down he looked around the room and saw a lot of other ponies eating, Dylan took a bite of the cupcake and a thought came to his head "How they make these games so realistic I don't know."

Seconds later a stallion walked up to him and said "Hey, can I sit here, there are no other tables."

    Dylan shrugged, "Sure."

The stallion sat down across from Dylan, he had a dark blue coat, black mane and tail, his mane looked like Roxas from Kingdom Hearts and his tail looked like Rainbow Dash's. He was a male Pegasus and his eyes were dark red. "I'm Shadow Moon," he said, "You?"

    "Cuber," Dylan responded.

Trying to stir up some conversation Shadow said, "You wanna know something I don't get?"

Dylan took another bite of his cupcake, "What?"

"Why are we eating these cupcakes, when we can just eat actual food outside the game?"

"Well, I actually never thought of that…" Dylan thought for a moment "Probably to save money," they both had a chuckle.

They sat there for a few minutes eating their cupcakes and chatting. "Anyway, I gotta go," Shadow said.

"See ya," Dylan responded as Shadow walked away. A friend request popped-up from Shadow and Dylan accepted it.

Dylan got up and left Sugarcube Corner and started wandering around. He reached a lot of places, Rarity's Carousel Boutique, Sweet Apple Acres, The Golden Oaks Library, and even the train station.

After walking all the time it got late, Dylan brought up the menu and clicked the Log Out button. Another menu popped-up saying "Are you sure you want to log-out?" There was two spaces, one had 'No' and the other was blank.

Only instinct told Dylan the blank was 'Yes' and he tried to click it, but nothing happened. After a while of trying he couldn't get a response from it.

"Open up my friends list," Dylan said, he clicked on 'Send a message' and wrote on a virtual keyboard, "Hey, have you tried logging out yet?" and sent it to both his friends.

After a few minutes he got responses, Cameron saying, "I don't see anything to click to log-out."

Shadow said, "I can't, there is no 'Yes' button."

Dylan and everypony else was stuck in Equestria.

Note from the author: I JUST HAD TO! 'Stuck in Equestria' I just had to do it. So, so far in this story we have to characters already dating. Also Shadow Moon has come in to play. I could still use some more OCs since we're going to need quite a few to make some groups for later chapters.

    4. Chapter 4

Note from the author: NOPE this fanfiction is not dead! After finally getting all my ideas out from 'Wishes come True' I finally have time to write other stories! So with further ado, (I never used that... ever, now I see why) let's get started, shall we?

Dylan was confused, he looked around and saw some ponies chatting with others. Some looked confused, others frightened, and some still happy.

Dylan brought up his friends list and typed a message "Meet me at Sugarcube Coner," and sent it to both of his friends. Seconds later he sent another message "Corner*".

Dylan was alright outside Sugarcube Corner and sat down outside. After a few seconds Cameron came running from a distance. When she arrived she said, "Cuber, do you have any idea what's going on?"

"No, my only guess is that it's a bug in the game, but I'm afraid if an update comes... we're not going to get home."

Without them realizing, Shadow Moon arrived, hearing most of what Dylan said. Shadow looked over to his side and Cameron, "Whoa," his wings busted open.

Dylan couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. Shadow looked at him confused, "What?" he said.

Dylan pointed at Shadow's wings, he looked at them then blushed, closing them as fast as he can. "So you think that this is a bug?" Shadow asked.

"I believe it is," Dylan responded, he looked around and saw building suddenly materializing, one had a picture of a sword, another had a picture of a shield and another had a picture of a potion. Multiples of these buildings materialized.

Every player got several messages "Inventory added!" and, "Weapon slots added!"

"What do they mean Inventory and Weapon slots added?" asked Cameron.

On every player materialized saddle-bags and a weapon holster. "I can only guess that," Dylan responded.

"But why is this happening?" Shadow Moon asked.

"I don't know," replied Dylan, "This was only to be an online game for people to hang out with their friends and play around in Equestria, it's E rated. There wasn't any mention of violence."

A screen popped up in front of everypony. A video started playing showing a stallion looking like a mix between Sombra and Nightmare Moon.

It was a black alicorn, his eyes glowed red, with a purple aura around him. "Hello 'everypony'," the black alicorn started. A somewhat deep voice, "I hope you like my new updates, the weapons, shields, potions, also with the player cards, and I changed a little something with the death actions," the stallion said with a chuckle. "Anyway, I have some more stuff to tend to," A giant building as tall as the moutains materialized, "if you want to go back, you'll have to defeat me in this building, I'll be at the top after several levels. Also one last thing before I leave, I added a few NPCs for you... H out," the screen disappeared.

"What does he mean by adding NPCs?" asked Shadow.

Dylan opened up Shadow's player card, now having a health bar, a level and EXP bar. "Well..." Dylan looked over at the Everfree Forest, seeing Timberwolves, actual wolves, sheeps, bunnies, birds, and other creatures in the distance, "he added enemies," he looked at his friends "why else would he have added weapons, a health and EXP bar, plus levels... I can only come up with one idea why all of this is happening plus why we can't log out."

"Why?" asked Cameron and Shadow simultaneously.

"Well, I hate to say it but, guys, we got a hacker."

    5. Chapter 5

"What do you mean, 'a hacker'?" asked Cameron, "this game only just came out, there is no way there could be hackers already."

"Hackers are everywhere," responded Dylan, "anyone could be a hacker, for all we know it could be one of us being a hacker. Thing is, with all my knowledge of programming I know this isn't a regular hacker, he is experienced."

"What do you mean?" asked Shadow.

"A normal hacker would just use his hacking to mess around and do something that isn't major such as killing someone without being in a Player Vs. Player fight. A experienced hacker could possibly make his or her own hacks which he could use to bend the rules completely. But a really experienced hacker from over 10 years of hacking... he can change the game to his will."

"How would you know all this?" the question coming from Shadow again.

Dylan looked down and sighed, "Being a programmer has it's advantages, I've learning this kind of stuff ever since I was about 7. As a programmer I know how to get into the system, I know how to change the system as well... I am a hacker. The reason why I got into programming was so I could be a better hacker."

"H-How are we supposed to trust you now?" asked Cameron.

Dylan looked up at her, "What do you mean? I don't have any reason not to be trusted."

"You just said you were a hacker," said Shadow, "how would we know you're not actually H?"

"I would never hack a game like this, I don't know what kind of messed up person would."

"I, I don't trust you," Cameron turned around and started running away, Shadow following behind.

"Cameron!" Dylan yelled after her, but staying in his spot.

After a few minutes Dylan finally moved, he walked over to the sword shop and walked inside, there were no other players in there, only a NPC and weapons on the walls. The weapons range from swords, to hammers, to axes, to scythes, and some bows.

Dylan walked up to the NPC. "What can I get ya?" the male NPC asked.

Dylan looked around the store, "I want a bow an arrow."

A screen popped up in front of Dylan, "pick one ya like," said the NPC. Dylan looked at the list, each a different name, all different styles, and different prices.

Dylan clicked on one called the Rainbow Dash Bow, the description showed "This bow is one of the fastest shooters in all the land, it has high accuracy but low on aim." Dylan kept scrolling till he found one he liked.

"That will be 270 bits," said the NPC, which Dylan then paid for.

"Now I want arrows," another screen popped up in front of Dylan. He started scrolling through the collection, most of the prices are the same due to it being the same kind of arrow but for different bows. Dylan found the arrows for his bow, he bought them for 100 bits.

The bow and arrows were set on the table, Dylan's weapon holster changed to a quiver. Dylan only touched the arrows and they transported into his quiver, Dylan touched the bow and it transported to around the quiver.

As Dylan went to walk out of the building a message popped up, "Would you like to go to the weapon tutorial?" Dylan clicked Yes and he was in a blank room.

"Welcome to the weapon tutorial! Select your type of weapon." three podiums showed up in front of Dylan, a sword, a mallet, and a bow with arrows. Dylan walked over to the bow and picked it up, he noticed he had hands now. Dylan looked at himself, he looked like the Equestria Girls version of his OC.

Dylan grabbed the quiver and put it on his back, his bow and arrows not being with him at the time. "Now that you have your weapon, try to hit the target!"

Dylan put the bow in his right hand and grabbed an arrow, loading it into the arrow. Dylan held up the bow and pulled back the string with his left hand. The reason he holds it differently then most people is because he is left handed.

Dylan saw the target, not that far away. He shot the arrow and hit the target in the middle. Dylan was always good at archery, "Good, now let's try a real challenge!"

The wall slide back about 30 yards, much farther away. The roof also moved up a bunch. Dylan reloaded his bow and pulled back the string. He aimed slightly higher then before. Someone could mistake that he was trying to hit the wall.

When Dylan let go of the string the arrow hit the middle of the target again.

"Good, now try to hit the targets."

Two wolves showed up, one in front of the wall and the other where the wall was. The wolves were pacing back and forth. Dylan took his aim a bit in front of the wolf closer to him and shot, the arrow going straight through the wolf's head, a bloody arrow coming out on the other side. Dylan did the same with the other wolf, hitting the wolf's eye.

When the wolves fell a screen showed up "If you walk up to the wolves you can loot them, finding items such as fur, meat for hunger, and even bits!"

"Now why would wolves have bits..." Dylan said to himself.

"Now, would you like to go back or continue and train?"

"I want to go back," Dylan was back at the room he was in before. Dylan walked outside.

"From completing the fighting tutorial you get 20 EXP!"

Dylan's EXP bar went up to full once then halfway. Another screen popped up "Congratulations, you are now level 2! Your health, strength, and defence rose!"

Dylan then decided to go train and went to the Everfree Forest. When he arrived a screen popped up in front of him. H showed up on the screen.

"You're pretty good with that bow an arrow weapon Cuber."

    "Yeah, so?" Dylan responded.

"How would you like to join me? Come up to the castle with me and fight anypony that tries to attack."

    "What's in it for me?"

"You get to automatically become level 58, enough to be high but low enough to train if you wanted to. You would rule over this place and make it what you desire. I'll let you take somepony else to join you in becoming level 58. Plus, I'll even let you out of the game whenever you wanted."

"And if I don't join you?"

"Then you're stuck here like all the rest, nothing will happen to you, it will be like this conversation never happened."

Dylan sighed, "Can I have time to think about it?"

"Take as long as you like, if you ever want to speak to me just say so out loud, I'll hear you... just like I heard that you're a hacker, you were actually the first one to figured it out already. H out," the screen disappeared.

Dylan looked into the woods and saw a few wolves, he killed two of them and got 5 EXP from each, he got to level 3. Dylan walked up to the wolves and picked his arrows up, putting them in his quiver. Dylan found it strange how he keeps changing from human to pony or vice versa.

Dylan walked out of the forest and opened his friends list, he was surprised that Cameron and Shadow Moon were still his friends. Dylan sent a message to Cameron, "What if I told you I could get us out of here, able to come and go as we please, including jumping straight to level 58."

Dylan quickly got a response, "Oh yeah? How? By hacking into the game?"

"No, that's not it, I got a message from H..."

    "What did he say?"

"He offered me to go up and join him, he said I would go to level 58, be able to come and go as I please, he said I could take somepony else with me, you were the first on I asked. I don't know if you know this but I like you, a lot."

"I would never go up and join him in ruling over Equestria, and I will never forgive you if you did."

After that last message Dylan sat down leaning against a tree, he was sulking. A few minutes passed and Dylan finally came up with an answer, "H," he said.

A screen popped up, showing H, "You have made your answer?"

"Yes I have, I want to join you."

"How good... now, would you like to travel here on your own, or would you like me to teleport you?"

    "I'll travel on my own."

"Okay then, now, if you want anything to take into the game, just let me know."

"How about my mp3 player, including ear buds."

    "Alright, if you insist."

Dylan's mp3 player magically came into the game and went into his pocket, an ear bud cord going up to his left ear.

"I suggest you should start walking Cuber, I'll be waiting."

Dylan set out to the giant building. Hoping he has made a good choice.

    6. Chapter 6

After 2 hours of endless walking, Dylan made it to the giant building as sundown began. He opened the door to see a giant monster, H telling the monster who Dylan was, made the monster bow down in front of Dylan.

After each monster door were some stairs. There were 5 floors of monsters, each floor with more, tougher monsters.

As he walked through the last door he saw the black alicorn sitting on his throne. "Ah, Cuber, I'm glad you made it, what took you so long?"

"I had to walk from Ponyville," responded Dylan.

"Well, I'll give you your level like I said," H's horn glowed, after a few seconds a screen popped up in front of Dylan saying he was level 58, "Now, like I said before, you can leave when ever you want, and you could bring somepony along with you up here. Is there anypony you want to rule beside you?"

Dylan bowed his head with his eyes shut, "There is," he looked back at H, "but she didn't want to join, she didn't want me to join..."

"'She'? So this friend of yours is a mare, is it?"

    "Yes."

"Well if you want I could change her mind with a simple trick, if that's what you want."

    "Don't hurt her."

"Alright, alright. If you want though, I could give her special treatments, like discounted or even free items. I could also let you see her when ever you want via video screen."

"Well, I guess the video screen and discounted items seem good..."

"Okay then," said H as his horned glowed, after a minute it stopped. "There, open your menu and you can see and hear her."

Dylan opened up his menu and saw the word 'Cameron', "So what," Dylan said, "did you know what mare I was talking about?"

"I could see you talking to her earlier," H pulled out a screen showing Dylan talking to Cameron and Shadow.

"So what do you want me to do here?"

"For now, whatever you want, but when somepony tries to attack and they get close enough, I want you to kill them. Also, did I mention that you could leave this building when ever you wanted?"

"I'm not gonna kill innocent ponies," thought Dylan. "Alright fine, but there are two things I want."

    "What do you want?"

"I want my level to go back to 3 when I'm outside this building, and I want that skateboard from Soul Eater that Death the Kid has, that I could summon it whenever I want."

H's horn glowed for a moment, "Anything else?"

    "Not at the moment."

    "Alright, go, do whatever."

Dylan summoned his skateboard and rode it out of the building. He rode it back to Ponyville before getting off and putting it away.

He looked around for a moment, but then started walking. He walked to the field where Cameron led him, where they had their first kiss. Dylan sat down at a tree, crying.

After a few minutes Dylan heard his name called, he looked to his side and saw Cameron. Dylan quickly wiped the tears off his muzzle. "I figured you would have taken H's offer," said Cameron.

"I just came here," Dylan said.

    "Alone?"

"I needed to clear my head."

"You could have asked me to come with you Cuber."

"No, I need to clear my head, distractions don't help, please leave me alone."

    "Cuber, is there something wrong?"

"JUST LEAVE!" Dylan screamed, frightening Cameron. Dylan looked down at the ground, "Please... just leave me alone..."

Cameron slowly walked away. Dylan began thinking to himself "Why did I accept the alicorn's offer!? That was the most stupidest thing I have ever done!"

Dylan got up and walked over to Ponyville. Walking back into the weapons store there still was nopony in there. Dylan proceeded to buy a sword of his liking.

After completing the unnecessary tutorial, Dylan went back to the field and started wondering the forest.

Dylan saw a lot of enemies. Most of them wolves however. Dylan switched out his bow for his sword then proceeded to wield it. Dylan ran through all of the wolves, screaming the entire time, getting all of his anger out as he killed the wolves. Dylan killed 10 wolves, leveling himself up to level 5.

Dylan opened up the menu, he saw something he didn't realize earlier, 'skills'. As he looked through it, he saw a few the intrigued him. 'Detecting', 'Tracking', 'Agility' and 'Hiding'. Each level somepony gets means a new point they can use to buy skill levels.

Dylan, getting that level 58 from H, had 60 points. He decided to spend it all on maxing out Detecting, Tracking, Agility and Hiding. Having only 20 points left.

Dylan realized he just cleared 10 wolves at his level without taking a single hit. Also realizing he does much better alone then with groups. Dylan opened up the Friends list. He clicked on both Cameron's and Shadow's name.

Their player cards popped up, "From here on out," Dylan said as he deleted Shadow, "I'm a solo player," he then deleted Cameron. Dylan went back to training on wolves, gaining 5 EXP each kill.

After an hour Cameron came running into the field, wondering where Dylan was. She heard screaming from a distance. Cameron ran towards the screaming and saw Dylan, fighting 7 wolves at once. "Dylan!" screamed Cameron.

Dylan killed all 6 wolves with one hit each, then proceeded to look at Cameron. "Shit," Dylan said to himself, "bow." Dylan's sword switched to his bow in a flash as he grabbed an arrow and shot the arrow, Cameron thinking it was straight for her.

Cameron stood there shocked, as if a deer in headlights. The arrow flew right by her. After realizing what just happened seconds later she screamed, "What are you trying to do, kill me!?"

Dylan walked up to her then pointed behind her. Cameron looked behind her and saw killed wolf 5 feet away from with an arrow in it's head. Cameron then said, "I came looking for you, all of the sudden you weren't on my friend's list anymore."

"I know, I deleted all my friends."

    "Well, why?"

"I've became a solo player." Dylan walked passed her and retrieved his arrow, "So stuff like that won't happen again."

"But Dylan, why did you delete me?" asked Cameron with tears in her eyes.

"I can't risk anypony dying, I'm sure there are already a few who tried to go into the tower alone and got themselves killed. I'm gonna defeat all 5 floors and H to get us all out of here. I'm going on my own to anywhere from now on."

Cameron slowly began to leave, a few tears escaped her eyes. She had thought that Dylan and her were something... something special... something good... more than just friends. Now she found out that he didn't really care about her at all. The entire thing at the field was a lie. She never wanted to see him again.

Dylan continued training, from killing the wolf that was going to attack Cameron, Dylan had gotten to level 10. With every kill from the wolves Dylan gained 5 EXP and some attack and strength EXP. Dylan ran deeper into the forest. He found himself against a different enemy, this one looking as if a wolve and bear had a child. He killed it with little struggle, taking a single hit which didn't bother him the least.

    "H!" Dylan screamed.

A screen popped up in front of Dylan, showing the alicorn, "Yes, Dylan?"

"I don't want to be with you anymore, if that means taking away my ability to see Cameron through that screen on my menu, not logging out and my levels taken away when I enter your castle, then so be it. I want to be treated like every other player, not as your partner."

H was taken back by that. "Fine, be that way, you'll wish you hadn't say that." the screen disappeared. The 'Cameron' option on his menu disappeared.

Dylan continued training, the wolf/bear mix got stronger, Dylan had only guessed H made them weaker, or him stronger. Dylan killed the wolf/bear mix, this enemy giving him double the points of wolves. Dylan continued to train for as long as he could, going deeper and deeper into the forest, killing many enemies that got in his way.

After an hour Dylan realized his health was getting dangerously low. He killed his latest enemy, this enemy gave him 30 EXP, Dylan leveled up to 23 in measly two hours of straight training.

Dylan began to head back to Ponyville to rest and heal himself. As he got there he opened up his menu, seeing new items in his inventory. He saw meat, different kinds of meat from all the monsters he had killed.

Dylan walked over to a merchant place and sold all of his meat that he had gained, some of the meat being expensive. After selling the items he didn't need he had well over 5000 bits.

Dylan looked at the clock in the merchant's store, it's 3 in the morning. Dylan completely forgot that it was night when he arrived in the forest. Dylan walked out of the store and all around Ponyville.

He ventured around empty houses, arriving at one that didn't seem bad, nor did it look good. Dylan touch a 'Buy' button on the house's door, a screen popped up saying "Would you like to buy this house for 1000 bits?" Dylan clicked yes and walked in.

Exploring the house he saw there were three rooms, a bathroom, bedroom and living room with a kitchen. Dylan walked to the bedroom, unequipped his sword and laid down, slowly drifting off to sleep.

Dylan slowly began to wake up, as he did he rubbed his eyes. Dylan got out of bed, a screen popped up in front of him "New message from the system!" the screen changed saying "Rarity's boutique is now open! Buy all of your clothing from her shop!"

Dylan walked out of his home, only seeing the boutique from a distance Dylan knew it was crowded in there.

Dylan started walking through Ponyville, after a few minutes he felt a cut on his right foreleg. Looking at it, Dylan saw that Cameron was a few feet away from him with a weapon that looked like it had a knife at the end of a chain.

Dylan didn't take any damage due to the town being considered a 'Safe Zone'. "I guess you found your weapon?"

"Mm-hmm," responded Cameron as she walked over to him.

"You could have just told me, not hitting me with it."

"I wanted to know why you de-friended me."

"I told you, I've become a solo player."

"What about what happened at the field, you kissed me."

"It was the heat of the moment. You kissed me first, I couldn't have just stood there and do nothing."

"What do you mean 'heat of the moment'? It's obvious that you're lying, tell me truth."

"I am telling you the truth."

"No, you aren't. Is it because of how I look?"

    "No, it's not."

    "How I talk?"

    "No."

"Is it my teeth? Cuber tell me!"

"I've told you already and I'm not telling you again, I'm now a solo player. I'm working on defeating H just like others, but I'm doing so on my own."

"Then why don't we PvP? If I win you have to friend me again."

Cameron sent a PvP invitation to Dylan, it was a 1v1 friendly game, meaning if somepony loses nothing happens. Dylan declined, "I have more important stuff to do."

"Cuber, come on, if you wont PvP then friend me."

    "Cameron, what level are you."

"What does that have anything to do with it?"

    "Tell me, what's your level."

"I'm level 2 from completing the weapon tutorial."

"I could probably clear you in one hit."

"What makes you say that, you're probably only level 5!"

"Cameron, you saw me out in the forest kill 7 wolves in a single hit. I'm level 23, I've been training ever since sundown to 3 in the morning."

Cameron was shocked, "How? Wolves only give you 5 EXP from the tutorial."

"Going deeper into the forest brings stronger and higher level monsters, the stronger the monster, the more EXP it gives you. Now if you excuse me. I have to continue my training."

Dylan ran off into the forest before Cameron could say another word.

    7. Chapter 7

"It's been a year since we all got stuck in this game." Dylan thought to himself.

Dylan was traveling from Ponyville, finally getting bored with the forest there. He recently got up to level 74, and he hasn't seen Cameron or Shadow as much he normally would. Those two didn't know what happened to Dylan since he joined the game, but Dylan knew one thing. He was going to beat H and save all the other ponies who have survived.

Dylan has been non-stop training, getting up his health, attack, strength and defence. He had also been training with hunting. A few months back Dylan obtained a special skill, he had never seen one like it. It allowed him to have both his sword and bow out, being able to use them at the same time, but he had no idea how that would help him in any way.

Heading to Canterlot, Dylan was slowly walking. Not in a rush to get there, but couldn't stop to rest.

Dylan heard a noise coming from above him, he looked up to see a knife flinging right towards him, in which he quickly dodged. He saw the flying mare that threw the knife at him, "Isn't there some other way to say hello without trying to hurt me first?" Dylan asked.

"Well probably," Cameron responded as she landed next to him, "but that's more fun."

"It's been awhile," Dylan said as he continued walking.

"Yeah it has," Cameron followed, "where are you going?"

"Canterlot, it's almost sundown so I better get going," Dylan looked over to his right, the sun was setting.

"You look pretty tired, maybe you should go rest."

"I don't know, it does seem like a good evening to rest for just a little bit, but I can't go to sleep, I would need to leave by the crack of dawn if I wanted to get to Canterlot by noon tomorrow if I stopped."

Cameron yawned, "I should get to bed too."

"Should we both stop?" Dylan asked, looking back at her as they both stopped walking.

"Yeah, I guess." Cameron looked around, there were pretty much clear fields except for a forest to the left of them, "We could rest in the forest. There shouldn't be any monsters in the crust of it."

Dylan looked towards the forest, "There's also a cave in the crust of the forest, we could build camp there."

"What are we waiting for? Let's get going." Cameron began walking to the forest and Dylan followed.

As they got into the forest, Dylan led Cameron to the cave. Once they were in there Cameron put down a sleeping bag. Dylan only sitting there. "What's wrong Cuber, don't have a sleeping bag?"

    "No, I don't."

Cameron put down another sleeping bag from her menu, "You can use this one if you want, I always keep a spare."

"Keep it, I don't need it."

    "What do you mean?"

"I said I would rest, I'm not going to sleep. I'll be right back." Dylan left the cave, leaving Cameron there in the cave.

Minutes later Dylan came back bringing a bunch of leaves and sticks, plus a few rocks. Dylan set up a fire ring. After a few seconds Dylan had a fire going. "That should work for the lighting in here, not to mention warmth."

"How did you do that Cuber?" asked Cameron who was in her sleeping bag, her spare still out.

"Years of practice, I've done this many times when I went actual camping."

After a minute of silence Dylan said, "Cameron, what level are you now?"

"I'm at level 20, I just got it today."

"After a year, you're only at level 20?"

"I have more important things to do than train, what level are you anyway, last time we met you were at level 23."

Dylan thought for a second, "I'm at level 30."

"I thought you were training, you got over 20 levels in one night, how did you only get 10 levels in one year?"

"I stopped training for awhile, then decided to go to Canterlot," Dylan said lying. He knew he was lying about his level, but he wondered if Cameron knew he was lying.

"Well, I'm gonna get to sleep, you should too Cuber, you look like you need it." Cameron laid her head down, falling asleep minutes later.

Dylan stayed up the entire night, only watching the fire.

As dawn came, Dylan looked over at Cameron who was still sleeping. He then looked out the cave and saw a few ponies doing the same as him, traveling from one town to the other.

    Dylan waited there for Cameron.

A few hours passed before Cameron started to wake up, noticing Dylan she said, "Cuber, I thought you were leaving at the crack of dawn."

"I couldn't just leave you here, you must have been following me for some reason be it me or for Canterlot. Also you can't tell what happens here outside the Safe Zones."

    "What do you mean?"

"Monsters could come from no where, even if you believed that they aren't in the crust of the forest. Not to mention other players."

"What do you mean 'other players'? The ponies aren't bad."

"You have to remember, there could be anti-bronies around here that would play this game just to troll, now with weapons? It's a playground for them. Although all ponies that are here doesn't mean that they won't take a kill when they find one, monster or player."

"How would they be able to kill another player?"

"Be it in the forest, or in the Safe Zone, ponies could challenge you to a Duel to the death and keep attacking you until you die."

"I've never heard of that, how have you?"

"It's been a year since we've arrived to this game, once you think about it more logically, not to mention playing other types of games like this, it becomes obvious. I figured it out within the first month."

"Well maybe when we get to Canterlot you could sleep in one of the inns there and I'll watch over you there."

"Thanks, but no thanks," Dylan stood up, "Let's get going."

Cameron got up and put away her sleeping bags, "You have at least let me repay you that much."

"Trust me, I can risk it, I don't need a watch pony while I sleep, I doubt somepony would even get me down halfway before I wake up." Dylan began walked to Canterlot once more.

"What makes you say that?" Cameron asked following.

"My health, it regenerates 600 hp every ten seconds, and I doubt somepony could attack me enough times to get below yellow while I sleep."

"How does it do that? Did you buy something?"

"No, once I hit a certain level it just came to me."

"Hmm, so why are you going to Canterlot?"

"Why would anypony? Change of scenery, but I have something more I want, there's strong monsters there, plus the weapon stores sell better weapons." Dylan waited a few seconds before saying "Why are you following me anyway? Or are you just going to Canterlot and thought you would hang by my side."

"Well, I thought I could just hang with an old friend of mine, you also never did that PvP with me."

"Do you really think you would have a chance with me?"

A PvP invitation popped up in front of Dylan. "We won't know unless we try," said Cameron.

    Dylan accepted the Duel, "Fine."

Dylan had equipped his Dual Wield, while Cameron only had her knife and chain. A clock started counting down, from 20 to 0. Once it hit 0 Cameron began swinging her knife and chain.

Dylan watch as the knife was flung towards him, right before it hit his face he stepped to the side, dodging the knife. Dylan grabbed the chain of the knife and yanked it, Cameron, who didn't want to lose her weapon, held tightly to it and flew forward and landed in front of Dylan.

Dylan put a foot on her and held her down as he drew his sword and attacked for her head. Right before the sword grazed her she rolled away, swiping at Dylan's feet, trying to trip him. Dylan jumped, dodging her arm as he swung at her, knocking her back far. Her health bar depleted halfway down.

Cameron shot her knife for him again. This time Dylan got scratch by the sword, knocking 40 damage to his health. Dylan quickly grabbed the chain and threw it hard to his side. It flung around a tree, tying up Cameron to it.

Cameron struggled to get out of it, Dylan knew he didn't have enough time to rush over to her and attack her, "That's it!" Dylan thought, he grabbed his bow, and instead of loading an arrow, he used his sword.

The sword launched, striking her straight through her chest, wiping out the remaining health she had. Dylan walked over to her and removed his sword, unwrapping her from the tree too as a screen popped up in front of both of them.

Dylan's screen had "You win!" while Cameron's had "You lose!"

Both of their healths returned to normal. "I guess that means you won't add me huh?" asked Cameron.

"You're strong I'd have to admit, you should try yourself at the castle with others, you might be able to take down the second floor."

"Speaking of the castle, I heard that there was a group of strong players from many different guilds and parties that are working on defeating the castle."

"Really? Perhaps I should join them... I should get going to Canterlot anyway," Dylan said as he started walking back to Canterlot, Cameron following him.

"We should together sometime, I am looking for leveling up soon. I'm sure that you'll know where good training spots are, if you would care to show me."

"Hmm, maybe. I have traveled around Ponyville, Canterlot and a few other towns when I got bored."

The two arrived at Canterlot at sundown, both of their stomachs grumbling. "How about I buy us something to eat?" asked Cameron.

"You don't need to, I can get food on my own-" Dylan was cut off.

Cameron stepped in front of Dylan, "I'm going to buy something for both of us and I won't take 'no' for an answer."

After a few seconds Dylan replied, "No," and started to walk passed her.

Cameron grabbed his foreleg and dragged to a restaurant, "Too bad, you're coming with me."

"She sure has a strong grip," thought Dylan. "Fine, I'll go, just let go of me."

Smiling, Cameron let go of Dylan, "Finally, follow me." Cameron started walking away.

"Do you even know your way around this place?" asked Dylan as he followed.

"Well yeah, there's a map of it, I've also been here before."

The two walked into a restaurant and were seated. In the course of a few minutes they ordered their food and it was brought to them.

"So why did you really follow me here?" asked Dylan.

"I already told you, I wanted to hang out with you more."

"That can't be it, you could have done this all year, but why now? What could have possibly happened that you would need to find me, and proceed to follow me to here?"

After a few seconds Cameron said, "I wanted to talk about what happened the first day we got here, the day we kissed, I still remember it. Do you?"

"Of course I do," sighed Dylan, "It was the first day of the game, how could I forget it."

"After I kissed you, you kissed me back, but then you proceeded to play it off like it was nothing."

"I told you, it was the heat of the moment."

"Please, tell me the truth, I want to know."

"I am telling you the truth."

"Then why did you unfriend me?"

"I became a solo player, I've said I don't do groups. I don't need friends to venture on in this world, all I need is a way out, a way to get everyone in this game out."

After a few seconds of nothing but the restaurants noises, Cameron said, "About the Duel we had earlier today, you took out half my health in a single blow, and another half right after. How could you do that when you are only 10 levels ahead of me."

"Well, to be honest," said Dylan, "that wasn't my full out attack, I was restricting my attack. I lied about my level."

    "Then what is your level?"

"My level is 74, I have been training ever since the day we got here. 74 levels, in a one year nonstop devotion to training."

"Why were you just training for the entire year, there is more stuff to do than train, I mean look around, it seems that ponies are already getting use to being here. I've heard that some ponies that were working to clear the building completely stopped, due to living a normal life."

"It doesn't matter to me, I have more personal stuff I need to do when I get out of here."

"What do you mean? It's been a whole year, it shouldn't matter now."

"I have someone on the other side that I care about, someone in the real world. I know that she is somewhere in here too. I remember her telling me that she pre-ordered the game. I need to get to her, in this world or out of it, but I still need to get everyone out of this one."

"Could you tell me her name?"

"It wouldn't matter to you..." after a few seconds Dylan said, "So you wanted to know why I acted like the kiss was nothing? It was because the heat of the moment for me, I also wanted to get rid of that guilt that was in me for doing that. I didn't want to cheat on her." after another few seconds Dylan asked, "So, why did you kiss me?"

"Well, back then, you seemed a lot like my boyfriend in the real world. I guess the kiss was an accident but, you seemed so much like him I couldn't tell the difference, almost like you were him. He too got this game and is among this world of ponies, I want to get back to the other side so bad just to see his smile again, but I'm hoping that we might see each other here too."

"You know," Dylan looked down for a few seconds then back at her, "back then, you seemed a lot like my girlfriend too. Would you mind telling me his name?"

"Not at all, his name was Dylan."

"What?!" Dylan screamed in his head, his facial expression not changed, "Hmm," Dylan said as he finished his meal.

But this can't be can it? Dylan and Cameron actually being the ponies they are both looking for? No, it can't, it's merely a coincidence that Cameron's boyfriend and Dylan have the same name... can it?

    8. Chapter 8

"So, you said your boyfriend's name was Dylan correct?" asked Dylan still freaked out about this as Cameron finished her meal.

    "Yeah, why do you ask?"

"No reason, it just got me thinking how strange it is."

    "What do you mean strange?"

"That name, Dylan, that's mine too."

"Really? That is pretty strange, then again, Dylan is a common name isn't it?"

"Yeah, I guess. If you uh, don't mind me asking, where did you live?"

    "Well, hmm, the United States."

Dylan knew he should stop asking questions, but he wanted to know. "We should talk in a more secluded place."

"Alright, well how about your place?"

"I don't have a place here, back in Ponyville I do. Well, I could buy a place so I guess that could be fine."

Cameron paid for the food and they walked out of the restaurant. The two started walking to the house district, "You said you would buy a place," started Cameron, "how are you gonna buy a place in Canterlot, it must be pretty expensive."

"I trained deep into the Everfree Forest, filled with the worst kinds of monsters, some dropping high-leveled meat, and others dropping decent meat, I sold those meats for bits, so I have a lot."

Dylan walked to a random house and bought it, not caring for the structure at the moment. Dylan opened the door and they both walked in, the interior looking pretty decent. Dylan walked to a chair and sat down, Cameron following suit.

"So," Cameron started, "you asked me where I lived, so it's only fair if I asked you where you lived and gave an answer."

"Well, I live in the United States too."

    "It's a small world huh?"

"Yeah, well I guess." Dylan responded, "You, you wanted to know my girlfriend's name right?"

    "Yeah, I did."

"Well, do you still want to know it?"

"Well yeah, I did tell you my boyfriend's name didn't I?"

"True..." Dylan said, "Alright well, her name is Cameron too."

    "Really?"

"Yeah," Dylan said looking down. He didn't want to believe it, but the more they talked about it, the more he thought they were actually dating in the real world.

"Well that's um, pretty coincidental don't you think?" Cameron too started thinking that they were already boyfriend and girlfriend.

    "Yeah, I guess."

"Dylan Rodier was his name," Cameron said, "that was my boyfriend's full name."

As Dylan heard his full name called he looked up at her quickly.

Cameron noticed this and said, "That's... That's your name too, isn't it."

    "It is."

    "Do you think that maybe..."

    "I don't really want to."

"But could be possible," said Cameron.

"It could but, I don't want to believe it."

"Why not," Cameron said standing up and walking towards Dylan, "it's completely possible, so why not accept the fact that it's true?"

"Because it might not be true, I don't want a mix-up happening, I rather just wait until we're out of this game then hopefully everything should go back to normal."

"You were always so hard to convince, I don't know why I bother," Cameron mentally said 'Screw it' and kissed Dylan.

Dylan pushed Cameron away, "I said I wanted to wait till we're out of the game! I don't want a god damn mix up with this stuff! What if we aren't actually boyfriend and girlfriend huh? What if it's just a huge coincidence that our mates are extremely alike to one another? I'm going back to what I originally attended to do, I would like you to leave too, but I can't control somepony else." Dylan walked out of his new house, leaving Cameron upset, silently crying.

Minutes later Dylan was aimlessly wondering around Canterlot, not knowing what happened to Cameron after he left her there. He heard a voice "Cuber, what's up?"

While still walking, Dylan looked back and saw an old friend, he looked forward again and said, "Shadow, what are you doing here in Canterlot?"

"I should be asking you the same thing," he said as he walked up next to Dylan.

"Change of scenery, change of monsters."

"Yeah, Ponyville was getting kind of old- wait, did you say change of monsters?"

"Yes, I did, Ponyville is only one town of many in Equestria, and I however have gotten many levels from just the Everfree forest, enough that it's getting boring. I came to Canterlot to find something better to do with my time now that I'm level 74."

"You're level 74!? I'm only level 28. How did you get so many levels?"

"I've been training nonstop for a year now, it's easy once you get used to killing the same monsters."

"That's cool I guess, what's that on your back?"

"A sword and bow, not to mention a quiver for the arrows."

"How are you having both of them on your back? I have two swords and I can only equip one at a time."

"A few months back a skill just came to me called 'Dual-Wield'."

"I never saw something like that on the Broker's list."

"I never bought it, it just suddenly appeared in my skills."

After a few seconds of silence Shadow said, "How about a Duel?"

    "What, are you insane?"

"Just a friendly one, so nothing happens to us."

"I meant because of our level difference."

"Still, I wanna see how good you are."

"Fine," a 1v1 screen showed up in front of Dylan and he accepted it. A PvP match showed up above the both of them, with a 30 second countdown.

Dylan put his bow away and Shadow took out his sword. The two noticed they drew a crowd. As the countdown reached 0 Shadow charged for Dylan, and swung his sword at him, to which Dylan easily stepped out of the way.

Shadow kept trying to attack, but Dylan dodged every one of them. "You're not even gonna take your sword and try to retaliate?" asked Shadow as he continued to slash at Dylan.

"Alright fine, if you want me to." Dylan grabbed his sword and swung it once at Shadow, knocking him back quite a few yards, knocking down a chunk of his health. "Thing is, I know you wanted to see how good I am, but I'm not even trying here, could you at least try harder?"

Shadow got up and went back to Dylan and started attacking him once more. Dylan said while dodging, "Sorry about this."

"About what?" asked Shadow continuing to attack. Dylan took his sword and swung it hard into Shadow's, breaking his sword in half. Shadow was now disarmed.

"Your attacks were quite annoying, so I had to stop it." Once a match starts the weapons you have out are the only ones you can use, so Shadow couldn't pull out his other sword. Shadow had lost the match.

Shadow's health bar returned to normal and crowd started leaving, "Dude, that was my best sword!"

    "Okay, so?"

"So?! How are you going to pay for that, it was 1500 bits!"

Dylan reached into his saddlebag and put the equivalent of 1500 bits into a small pouch and tossed it to Shadow, "There, now stop whining about it." Dylan started walking away.

Shadow caught up to him once again, "How do you have 1500 bits off the bat?"

"I have probably over 50,000 bits or something like that, when I was training I got rare meat from the monsters I've killed. All the meat I've gotten seemed to be worth a lot."

"Well do you think that you could train me? Help me get some money from killing the monsters that roam here?"

"You already know what there is to know. Just keep training, however I do suggest going to Everfree. The highest monsters there are level 50, so I imagine here are much higher."

    "Alright, well see you around."

    "Bye."

Shadow walked off, and Dylan walked on.

Dylan noticed that anywhere he looked, ponies had clothing. Even Cameron and Shadow had clothing. He looked like the odd pony out. He decided to walk into a clothing shop to buy some clothes.

When he left, he didn't have a much different look from his original fur color, trying to keep his 'dark color' look.

Dylan then walked back to his house. To no surprise, Cameron left. He heard a scream, "Cameron," he said to himself, recognizing the voice.

He ran outside, and looked at where scream came from. He realized the scream was from a bit of distance. He went onto his house and looked from there. Seeing Cameron quite a few yards away from him, being dragged by some monsters.

He started running after them, but before he could get near them, they vanished. Almost like, "Teleportation?"

He couldn't believe it, "Nobody can use teleportation except Unicorns. Unless..." Dylan remembered the monsters, he has seen them before, but where... Dylan gasped, "H."

He ran as fast as he could towards H's castle. He arrived at the doors minutes later.

He busted in and went straight through the floors, the bosses just letting him through as if he was expected.

He arrived in H's room and saw Cameron strapped to a chair. H standing next to her, thinking on what to do with her. "Let her go, H."

H started walking over to Dylan, "You really think that's going to stop me? Just shouting to let her go and I'll be like 'Oh alright, here you go.' and it will be that simple?"

Dylan equipped his second sword, and unsheathed both. "I said let her go."

H did a fake 'scared' shake saying, "Ooh, I'm so scared..." sarcastically. "You have to remember, that I am the game master, and that I can out duel you in a single hit. Besides, I thought you didn't care about her any more.

"That doesn't mean you should kill her."

"What makes you think I'm going to kill her?"

Dylan looked at the tray of sharp and heavily blunt objects next to her, one of the items including her weapon. "You were saying?"

"Okay, so I might go and kill her, but what do you care, and besides, it's not like I'm just gonna let her go."

    "How about a Duel then?"

H laughed, "You, think you can beat me in a Duel?"

"No, if I Duel you, and I can take half of your health down, you let her go."

"So you'll give your life for that mare?"

Cameron yelled out, "You don't have to do this Cuber!"

Dylan said, "So, Shadow, what's your answer?"

H looked shocked "How did you find out?"

"If you're clever enough, it's easy to figure out."

"How do you explain the video, first day of the game?"

"Anypony can create and share a recorded message. You were just holding back your strength in the Duel earlier, and lowered your health. Or am I just that much stronger than you?"

"You'll never be stronger than me."

Dylan sent a Duel invitation to H, "Prove it."

    H accepted, "It's your funeral."

As the clocked started counting down, Dylan said, "No wings, no magic, no assistants and no hacking."

"I don't need those to kill you."

The clock hit 0 and H charged at Dylan, swinging his sword he had out. Dylan dodging the attacks easily. "No skills gained I see," said Dylan.

Dylan swung his sword once, hard into H's stomach, knocking him back, taking away a quarter of his health. "So you did lower your health. Tell me, how do you play in a game you can't leave, for a year, and don't learn how to fight with the weapon you have?"

Dylan knew all his bantering was just angering H. H ran towards Dylan in an attack, to which Dylan blocked with his sword, using his other to attack H in the stomach once more, and again knocking him back. "Your two swords blocked with one of mine, dang your swords stink."

H ran towards Dylan once more, "Don't you ever learn your lesson H?" as H got near Dylan, Dylan swung his sword hard into H, knocking him back into the wall.

Dylan threw a sword up, thanks to the type of Duel, Dylan could change his weapon. "Bow," Dylan said, and his sword changed into a bow. Dylan caught it and used it to launch his sword into H, sticking him into the wall.

Dylan changed his bow back into a sword and went up to H, who was struggling to get the sword out of him, his health bar slowly depleting. "You're down to a quarter of your health, and when you die we're done with this game right?"

"Alright, alright! You got me under half my health, I'll let you both go!"

"You're not getting out that easily. I'm through with this game. See you in hell."

Dylan walked over to Cameron and untied the ropes, "Thanks," she said.

"I couldn't just let somepony die."

H shouted out, as his health was almost gone, "GUARDS!"

Cameron and Dylan looked at the door, a few bosses came in. "There is no use, this game is over," Dylan said.

Cameron grabbed her weapon and killed the bosses in one fell swoop. Dylan looked at her, to which she responded, "You're not the only one with strong weapons."

Soon enough, H's health depleted fully, and a big screen showed up 'Congratulations, you won!'

The world started to disappear. Dylan and Cameron looked at each other, Cameron said, "Even if were aren't actually boyfriend and girlfriend, and this is a big mix up, there is only one chance to do this."

"Do what-" Dylan was cut off by Cameron kissing him. Dylan gave up and returned the kiss. Until they both disappeared like the rest of the world.

Seconds later Dylan opened his eyes to his VRH. He took his helmet off and looked at himself. Same clothing, same room, same bed. Dylan grabbed his hair, and it has grown to the length of his shoulders.

Dylan quickly grabbed scissors then went to the bathroom, trimming his hair a bit. Next Dylan changed his clothing, then grabbed his board. He left his house, the sun high in the sky, and skated to his girlfriend's house.

When he got there he knocked on the door, and Cameron's mother opened the door, "Dylan? It's been so long since I've seen you, what are you doing here?"

"I actually came over to see Cameron, is she home?"

"Have you not heard? A year ago, everyone who got into the game called 'Equestria' got trapped in it, we took her to the hospital."

"Which one, could you take me there?"

"Sure, but why do you want to see her so badly?"

"I just want to, please take me to the hospital to see her."

Cameron's mom agreed and grabbed her car keys. She and Dylan got into her car and went to the hospital.

When they arrive, she showed him the room Cameron was brought to.

As soon as Dylan saw Cameron, he walked to the side of her, she was still asleep, inside of the game. "Come on Cameron, wake up," Dylan said to himself.

Dylan and Cameron's mother stood there for a few minutes, when Cameron finally woke up.

    "Cameron!"

Cameron saw Dylan, "Dylan?" the two briefly shared a hug.

    Cameron noticed her mom.

As Cameron and her mom started a conversation, Dylan started thinking to himself. About the fact that he thought happy endings weren't real, but this proved that they were.
