    My Little Pony: Equestria Kids

    Chapter 1

Recap: Not long after being crown a Princess, Twilight Sparkle's crown was stolen by a former student of Princess Celestia's named Sunset Shimmer who takes the crown into alternate world filled with tall, fleshy, two legged creatures with things called 'hands'. Twilight was then forced to go after her by herself as allowing her and her friends to all go would have upset the balance between the two worlds. With the help of the counterparts of her Ponyville friends Twilight retrieved her crown and the gateway between the two worlds was then closed for another thirty-moons, making it impossible for anything to come through… or so they believed.

Yes I know this is a short chapter, but that's because this is a recap page. The next chapter will be longer, don't worry.

    2. The Kids

    Chapter 2

It was a beautiful, sunny day in the city where the school called Canterlot High School was set. A few months had passed since the 'incident' during the Far Formal Dance. None of the students talked about it between each other much, or the police or homeland security, mainly due to their loyalty to Twilight and everything she did for them and the fact that no one would believe them if they told them anyways. Still, some talked and whispered about it, wondering if there really was magic out there and if Twilight would ever return.

A long bus drove down the streets of the city till it reached an old antique shop right nearby a fancy looking boutique. Several passengers got off the bus and walked off, including six children, a ten-year old boy named Tommy, an eleven year old girl named Mary, a twelve year old boy named Felix who had to walk on crutches and braces, a overweight nine-year old Latino boy Gabe, an eight-year African-American girl named Darla and a thirteen-year old Asian-American boy named Koji.

They all stood in front of the old antique store, which had a large glass window for them to see through and had the name of the store written on it. The red paint on it was all dried up and was starting to peel, it looked like it hadn't been visited in years.

"So… why are we visiting this place again?" Gabe asked, adjusting his red cap which covered his short black hair.

"Because, we need a gift for Darla's parents for all they've done for us," Tommy replied. "You know how much they like old antiques,"

Koji pushed up his large round glasses in front of his light blue eyes and nodded. "Agreed. A gift that fits within their category would be a most logical choice," he said.

"Hey everybody, don't forget; I may be the only one related to them but their your parents too," Darla reminded the other kids. "We're a family, now and forever,"

"Maybe legally, biologically we're not," Gabe retorted. "Unlike you the rest of us are just a bunch of former street kids who all lost their folks and were lucky enough to be adopted by a family who live in a brownstone, nothing more,"

"Now let's just go in and find a present already,"

Gabe walked ahead and entered the store, the door made a ringing sound as he entered due to a bronze bell above it. Darla looked down, hurt by Gabe's words but Mary put a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

"Don't let Gabe get you," Mary told her, looking at the eight year old with her kind blue eyes. "You know what he's like,"

Felix nodded in agreement, his light blue eyes shining. "Yeah, and doesn't really mean it, he's still having a hard time accepting the fact that his real parents are gone,"

    Tommy sighed. "Aren't we all?"

The other kids lowered heads in sadness, as they remembered the fond but short times they each had with their biological parents before they were either killed or taken away and before they were even adopted by Darla's parents. The five remaining kids then enter the antique store.

The door once again made a jingling sound as they each enter. All six of them gazed around the old store. It was dark, had a creaky, old wooden floor, multiple cobwebs in the corners of the room and gave off a very creepy vibe that unnerved some of the children. There were several old antiques placed all over the establishment, things like old clocks, old books, decorative items, old toys and even an old purple mirror which seemed to sparkle, a bit. Not that any of them noticed.

"Hello? Hello!" Tommy called out, expecting the owner to show up and greet them but all he got was a faint echo.

"It appears the owner is on break," Koji stated.

Gabe blew on a old golden shield set against the wall, blowing away all the dust that was gathered on it. He coughed as some of the dust got in his lungs causing him to blow it away in annoyance.

"Boy, and I thought the hobo's around Yancy Street were old!" Gabe remarked.

"Gabe, focus!" Mary told him. "We need to find something that Mr. and Mrs. Marsh will like,"

Felix kneeled down a bit and looked through the glass of an old hourglass with had a small crack in it. "Like what? All this stuff is ancient, even for them,"

"You know… you don't have to call them Mr. and Mrs. Marsh," Darla reminded them. "You can always call them by their real names… or even… 'Mom' and 'Dad',"

"Negative," Koji replied as he flipped through the pages of an old book.

    "Why not?" Darla questioned.

"Because it feels weird, duh," Gabe responded picking up what appeared to be some kind of spear which immediately broke in half as he lifted it up, much to his disappointment and annoyance.

Tommy reached up one of the shelves to get a better look at the small clay statues on top. "But don't worry Dar, we're getting there," he assured her.

"Yeah, we all just need time," Mary added.

Just then, Toby finally noticed the sparkling mirror set against the wall on the edge of the store. As he began to walk over to it, passing by several creepy masks as he went by his foster siblings had struck up another conversation.

"Hey, did you hear about what happened at Canterlot High a few months ago? They said something about magic and demons and ponies!"

"Preposterous, Darla darling! All that talk is nothing more than a bunch of teenage delinquents telling false stories to intrigue themselves,"

"Yeah, besides everyone knows there's no such thing as magic!"

"I don't know, I hear they're still rebuilding the part of the school that was blown up apparently,"

"Well, at least we're safe here,"

Tommy stood in front of the mirror with wide, curious eyes. In front of him he saw only a reflection of himself; a boy of average height with short black hair and wearing a red hoodie over a yellow shirt. He only sees something else in the mirror that made him lean closer to it but Gabe interrupts him.

    "What are you doing?"

"Oh, just checking out the mirror," Tommy replied. "I thought I saw something,"

The other kids looked closely at the mirror as well.

"Interesting," Koji remarked. "I have not seen a mirror like this before…"

"Hey, maybe we should get Mr. and Mrs…" Mary started to say but a glance from Darla made her reassess her statement. "I mean… Jerry and Naomi, maybe we should get them this, it's just their type,"

"But it's a mirror," Gabe pointed out.

    "So?" Felix inquired innocently.

"Why get them a mirror? All it's good for is admiring your own reflection," he said.

"Like you do every morning?" Mary questioned, raising a brow, which made Gabe give her an annoyed glare.

"Well I say we give it to them!" Darla declared.

"All in favor?" Tommy asked as he, Koji, Felix, Mary and Darla all raised their hands, Gabe flooded his frustrated.

"Five against one, the math is definitely not in your favor amigo," Koji smirked.

    "Ugh, fine…" Gabe grumbled.

Tommy grunted as he lifted the mirror off the wall, the others helped him lift it up as well.

"Don't worry Gabe, it'll be fine!" Tommy assured him. "I mean, what could go wrong from buying a mirror?"

As they made their way to the counter with the strange mirror the reflective surface of said mirror began to sparkle and radiate with a dim magical energy.

    3. The Portal Activates

    Chapter 3

Little did the six children know that the mirror they were carrying was actually the alternate counterpart of the magic mirror that resided in Equestria and the bizarre thing about the one in the children's realm… is that it was still working.

At the same time, in the mysterious and magically land of Equestria, a purplish-pink train known as the Friendship Express was just arriving back in the town of Ponyville. As soon as it parked at the station six ponies and a dragon disembarked from the train. Their names were Spike the dragon, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Princess Twilight Sparkle.

As they all started to make their way back to their home. The girls began to converse with each other.

Applejack sighed deeply. "Whoo-Whee! That sure was some trip to the Crystal Empire, eh Twilight?" she remarked. "I mean you're very first Princess Summit and a trip to another world all in one. Why you must be plum tired,"

"You have no idea," Twilight Sparkle stated. "And you guys won't believe all the stuff I saw in that world,"

"So what did happen there anyways?" Rainbow Dash questioned.

"It's a long story," Twilight told them.

"That's putting it mildly," Spike remarked.

"Well now that we are home, you will have plenty of time to tell us darling," Rarity stated.

    "Please?" Fluttershy asked quietly.

Twilight sighed in defeat. "Ok, ok, I'll tell you all about it when we reach the library," she told them with a smile. This seemed to satisfy the other girls as they made their way towards Twilight's place.

"Hey, Twilight." Rainbow Dash said. "Are you sure and nothing from that other world will come over to our side?"

"Oh, don't worry Rainbow. The Princess said that the portal between the two world has been closed for another thirty moons," Twilight assured her. "There's no way one of them could ever come over to our side,"

"Well, uh… just out of curiosity… what would happen if one of 'them' did?" Applejack inquired.

Twilight shrugged. "Not sure, exactly. But luckily for us, and for Equestria that's never going to happen,"

At the same time, back in the other world, the six children were waiting by the counter for the cashier so that they could buy their seemingly non magical mirror. Felix leaned over the counter.

"Hello? Hello!" Felix called out. He turned back to the others. "Probably on break,"

"Well that's a darn shame," Tommy remarked.

"Oh, great!" Gabe exclaimed, throwing his hands up in exasperation. "Now we're stuck here in a dusty old store, trying to buy something that's old and useless and to make matters worse; I'm probably missing a lot of good TV shows right now,"

Gabe leaned against the mirror, placing his hand in the middle of it. Suddenly the mirror started to glow and Gabe's hand suddenly phased right through it. Much to his shock.

A yell from Gabe and an outstretched hand spurred Toby into action; he moved forward as far as he dared, trying desperately to get his fingers into his adopted brother, but the magical force slowly started to pull him away.

    "Gabe!" Tommy cried.

    "Tommy!" Mary shouted.

    "Mary!" Felix yelled.

    "Felix!" Darla screamed.

    "Fella's!" Koji exclaimed.

Tommy struggled for a bit but manages to seize Gabe's arm. All six kids quickly became linked in a human chain; Mary holding Tommy's arm, Felix holding Mary's, Darla holding onto one of Felix's crutches and Koji grabbing hold of Darla's shoulder.

Slowly, irresistibly and surely, they are all dragged toward the magic mirror. One desperate shout marks Koji's loss of traction, and one by one the kid are sucked into the mirror.

Soon afterwards, all six of the kids were all screaming as they each swirled around and around the colorful vortex.

    4. Arriving in Equestria

    Chapter 4

While the six children were quickly making their way through their realm and to the realm of Equestria, the Mane Six had just arrived back at Twilight's home; the Golden Oak Tree Library, which greatly fit her as she was known for her love of books. Twilight used her magic to open the door to her house, turn on the light and lead the others inside.

"Well, here we are, home sweet…" Twilight Sparkle began to say, but before she could finish the rest of it she and the others notice a small mirror floating in the middle of the library. It then started to spin and glow with a magical aura as sparks began to fly off it rapidly.

    "Whoa!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"What… what's going on?" Twilight wondered a bit scared.

"Uh… we were kinda hoping you would know Twi…" Applejack admitted.

Twilight then attempted to use the magic to cease the mirror's floating in spinning but instead it had no effect whatsoever and continued to float and spin at an incredible speed.

"My magic… isn't working!" Twilight cried.

Fluttershy yelped with fear and hid behind the others, preparing for the worst.

Eventually, the mirror stopped spinning, flashed a bright light that temporary blinded everypony and all of a sudden, Tommy and his foster siblings all came shooting out of the mirror one by one as if it were a leaf blower. They all crashed land on the wooden floor and laid in a pile groaning in pain.

"Have we landed?" Mary asked, dizzily.

"I think so…" Tommy replied, just as dizzy as Mary. "Are we still alive?"

Koji adjusted his classes. "I believe so," he answered.

"Unless… we're angels…" Darla slowly said looking around.

Gabe made a face. "I don't think angels lose control of their bladders,"

Everyone reacted with disgust as they pushed him off. Felix then used his crutches and brace to hoist himself back up.

"Whoo! That was kinda fun!" he remarked.

Everyone else slowly got up as well, coughing and hacking due to the smoke all around them.

    "Yeah… fun," Mary remarked sarcastically.

"So… where are we?" Gabe asked.

"I cannot tell just yet, all this smoke makes it hard to see," Koji stated.

The kids blew the smoke out of their faces and faces till it finally cleared, when they were finally able to see clearly they saw dozens of books on shelves all around them.

    "It's… a library!" Tommy realized.

"Well, this is definitely not the worst place to land in!" Koji proclaimed happily.

"But how did we get here in the first place?" Darla wondered. "I mean… weren't we just in the antique store with that mirror?"

Gabe gazed around them and saw something that made his eyes widen with shock.

"I'll bet it was that mirror that sent us here!" Mary remarked.

"You mean… it was magical?" Tommy inquired intrigued.

"That's impossible!" Koji declared. "Magic is nothing but smoke and mirrors, it is not real in any way!"

"But how does it explain how we got here?" Felix questioned.

"Uh… better question…" Gabe said out loud, the others turned to him as he pointed to something in front of them. "What are those!?"

Everyone looked forward and were stunned when they saw the six colorful ponies and the purple and green dragon in front of them, rubbing their eyes and slowly regaining their own sight as well. When they saw the kids they too were stunned. Both groups stared at each other wide with silence until Fluttershy poked her head out from behind the others and screamed when she saw them as well. Her scream causes the kids to scream, who in turn cause the Mane Six to scream as well.

Tommy and Rainbow Dash pointed to each other. "Who are you? Who am I? Who are you?" They both said in unison. Both groups back away from each other in fear

"Their… their… talking horses!" Mary exclaimed.

    "Cool!" Darla said in awe.

    "More like weird!" Felix stated.

"Not to mention completely impossible!" Koji remarked. "Equines can't speak!"

"Well their lips are moving and words are coming out," Gabe stated. "But they so don't look natural…"

"Yeah… their all different colors…" Darla agreed.

"I'm thinking we should probably keep our distance guys…" Tommy whispered. "You never know, they could be hostile,"

    The kids nod in agreement.

On the other side of the room, most of the Mane Six were whispering to each other at the same time as well.

"What in Equestria are they?" Rainbow Dash questioned.

"I don't know… but sure don't look natural!" Applejack stated.

"I've never seen anything like them!" Fluttershy told them.

"Oh! Just look at them! Their hideous!" Rarity proclaimed dramatically. "Those garish clothes, those skinny legs and tiny muzzles…"

Rarity gasped sharply when she saw their 'hands', although neither she nor most of the others knew what they were at the moment.

"And those… those… things on end of their hooves! Oh, that look simply dreadful!" she exclaimed.

"They look funny! Do you think they like parties?" Pinkie Pie asked excitedly.

"I'm not so sure they want to party Pink, best we keep our distance…" Applejack stated. The others nodded in agreement, while Twilight and Spike struck up their own conversation.

"Hey, Twilight, don't they look like those… beings from the other world that we went to?" Spike inquired.

"Yeah, they do… but how?" Twilight Sparkle wondered. "The portal between our two worlds has closed… and shouldn't they be turned into ponies like how I was turned into one of them?"

Spike shrugged. "Who knows? Right now, I think it be best if we calmed them down take them to the Princess, she'll know what to do,"

Twilight nodded. "Agreed. I'm gonna try and talk to them,"

Twilight starts to step forward, the others saw this and bug out a little.

"Twilight! Get back here!" Rainbow Dash whispered harshly.

The kids saw Twilight approaching and flinch, they back away as she got closer and closer to them.

"Whoa, whoa, easy! Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you, honest!" she assured them.

"You… you just stay back you… talking horse you!" Gabe exclaimed, pointing at her threateningly.

"I am not a horse! I happen to be a pony, thank you very much" Twilight Sparkle said matter-of-factly.

"OH! Yeah, a talking PONY, that makes SO much more sense!" Mary exclaimed sarcastically.

"This must be a hallucination…" Koji remarked.

"Or a REALLY bad dream!" Gabe added.

"I don't know… it feels pretty real to me," Felix stated.

"Listen, I now all of this is strange to you but how about we all just calm down and talk it over, ok?" Twilight offered.

"OR we could… RUN!" Tommy exclaimed. Moving as fast as lighting, Tommy and his adoptive brothers and sister leapt over Twilight, rushed over and moved around over her friends before dashing out the door. Twilight ran to the door but was unable to stop them.

"Wait! STOP!" she cried. "We have to go after them!"

"But just what ARE they?" Rainbow Dash questioned. "And how do you know them?"

"I'll explain later, right now we have to catch them and quick!" Twilight Sparkle proclaimed before she, the girls and Spike rush after the children.

(The Benny Hill Show Theme Starts Playing)

Before long all six children were running through the town of Ponyville (Scooby-Doo style), but because the land was completely foreign and new to them they had absolutely no idea where they were going. They also continuously bumped into several of the townsfolk, screaming upon seeing them. The towns people were all just as afraid and stared at the children shocked and fearfully while the Pony gang chased after them.

The six of them ran around every corner of town and around every building, at times they stopped and the other half of them pass by and other times one of them sat back and watched the others run around before rejoining the chase. Some, mostly Pinkie, even stopped for a snack along the way.

The kids then began to run into different houses in Ponyville with the Mane Seven right on their heels and then somehow reappear out of another door before running to another. This pattern repeats itself and quickly became chaotic and confusing till finally the kids managed to get all seven friends to collide into each other before dashing away.

"Holy Moly, those kids are speedy!" Pinkie Pie remarked.

"Yes… and I thought bunnies were quick," Fluttershy added.

Rarity panted. "Oh my stars, if I run any faster I just might begin to sweat and that something I will simply not stand for!" she declared dramatically.

"Rainbow, where are they headed now?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

The cyan Pegasus flew upwards to get a better view of the landscape in front of her. "Looks like their heading West!" she called out.

Applejack eyes widened. "They're heading for Sweet Apple Acres! Come on, I know a short cut!" she told them before running ahead.

"Oh, great, more running…" Spike complained before running ahead with the others.

The six foster kids soon arrived at Sweet Apple Acres and had just ran up to the big red barn with the purple roof.

"Come on, we'll hide in here!" Tommy told the others.

Gabe pulled on the handle but it would not budge. "Ugh, I can't get it open!"

"Stand back, this is a woman's job!" Mary stated before attempting to pull open the door but she couldn't do it either.

Darla looked over her shoulder and saw that the Pony Gang was heading their way. "Hurry! They're coming!"

The kids then began to use pick axes to open the door and when that didn't work they tried using jack hammers, but that failed as well.

"Man! What is this door made of!?" Felix exclaimed.

"Obviously some type of very strong wood," Koji remarked.

"Thank you Professor Obvious…" Gabe said sarcastically

"Hmm, maybe we could…" Tommy started to say before Twilight and her friends approached them, clearly out of breath.

"Oh… there you all are!" Twilight Sparkle remarked relieved. The kids turned and screamed when they saw them, Koji then jumped into Gabe's arms.

"Stop screaming would ya!?" Applejack exclaimed annoyed.

"And stop running already!" Spike added.

"Please… calm down and…" Fluttershy began.

"Calm down!? You're a bunch of talking ponies and a dragon, we have every reason not to be calm!" Felix proclaimed. "Oh, this can't get any worse…"

The door opened up behind them, startling the six of them. They all gulped when they saw the large stallion that was Applejack's brother Big McIntosh standing behind them.

    "Howdy," he said simply.

This was one too many curveballs for the kids to handle in one day, and they crash down like a stack of dominos in a dead faint. The ponies all loomed over them.

"Good one, Big Mac," Spike told the stallion sarcastically who still looked mighty confused.

    5. Explanations

    Chapter 5

At first everything was pitch black for all of the children, then eventually, one by one their eyes slowly opened, of course because everything was pretty much blurry to them none of the kids could quite make out where they were or who was around them. Tommy was the first to open his eyes.

He yawned loudly. "Whoa… guys, I just had the most messed up dream…"

Mary groaned as she woke up as well. "Me too… their we're talking ponies and teeny, tiny dragon and…"

As soon as their visions cleared their eyes all widened when they saw just exactly where they were. They all appeared to be laying around the floor of a farm house with little blankets over their small bodies. They are even more shocked when they saw the Mane Six, the Apple Family and Spike standing in front of them expectantly and smiling.

    Spike waved at them. "Hi!"

    "Aw, man!" Paco groaned.

Darla stilled looked at the Pony Gang wide eyed in awe. "Wow! Talking ponies and a talking dragon! This is so amazing!"

"But how? I've said it before and I'll say it again; equines can't talk!" Edwin stated firmly.

"Well… maybe not the ponies in your world…" Twilight mused.

"Your world!?" Everypony besides Twilight and Spike exclaimed in shock.

"Wait a minute! Let me get this straight… these little fellers… are from another world?" Applejack inquired in shock.

Apple Bloom was wide eyed with shock and awe and smiled. "Wow! Real live aliens!"

"Hey! We're not the aliens here!" Paco proclaimed, pointing at the pony gang. "You guys are!"

"No you are!" Rainbow Dash shot back.

    "You!" Paco cried.

They two of them kept one pointing at each other and yelling 'You!' till both Mary and Twilight broke them apart.

"Will you two cut it out!?" They shouted annoyed. Both look at each other strangely after this.

"Ok… can we all just calm down for a one second?" Twilight Sparkle offered.

"The talking pony here is right, guys." Mary told the others. The others all exchange glances then all breathe a sigh of relief as they all calmed down.

"Ok, let's start off with… who are you guys?" Tommy questioned.

"My name is Twilight Sparkle.." The purple alicorn started.

"Princess Twilight Sparkle, by the way." Rainbow Dash interjected, Twilight looked at Rainbow angrily, annoyed that she was just interrupted.

"Wow! A real Princess!" Darla exclaimed happily.

"Why didn't to start off by telling us your designation in the first place?" Edwin inquired, he and the others then notice Darla kneeling and bowing to Twilight repeatedly.

"I am not worthy, I am not worthy, I am not worthy." She repeated.

    "That is why." Twilight stated.

Paco pulled her up. "Stop bowing already, your totally embarrassing yourself! And more importantly… us."

"Sorry about that Princess, you were saying?" Felix asked.

"Right! These are my friends; Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Spike." Twilight Sparkle told them gesturing to her group of friends. "The other three are Applejack's brother, sister and granny; Big McIntosh, Apple Bloom and Granny Smith."

The rest of the Mane Six, Spike and the Apple family all wave to the children in a friendly manner.

Paco leaned to the others. "Is it me, or do all their names sound like different flavors of ice cream?" he asked. Mary nudges him to be quiet.

"Uh… nice to meet you all, I'm Tommy." The ten-year old said before gesturing to his adopted brothers and sisters. "These are my adopted brothers and sisters; Mary, Felix, Paco, Darla and Edwin."

The other kids also wave to the ponies in a friendly manner, but still looked a bit bewildered by the fact that they were talking to ponies.

"So… can any of you tell us where exactly where we are?" Tommy questioned.

"Why y'all in Equestria, that's where." Applejack replied.

    "What's Equestria?" Mary inquired confused.

"The name of this country." Twilight Sparkle explained.

"Yeah, and it's ruled by two awesome Princesses named Celestia and Luna!" Rainbow Dash added.

"Wow! Real Princesses!" Darla exclaimed excited.

"Now that is cool!" Felix added.

"You don't have Princesses in your world?" Fluttershy inquired.

"We do, but they don't exactly 'rule' over anybody." Edwin stated. "They are mainly just figure heads."

"But they are still treated with respect though." Mary added.

"Fascinating… I didn't even know that and I've been to your world!" Twilight said.

    "You have?" Felix inquired.

    "Really?" Tommy asked interested.

"Yeah, it's kind of a long story though…" Twilight Sparkle admitted.

"Well, why don't you like tell us from the beginning or something?" Paco suggested.

"For once, you have a good idea Paco." Mary agreed.

"Yeah, why don't you start Twi?" Applejack offered.

"Ok… well you see the reason I came to your world in the first place was because my crown was stolen by a former student of the Princess." Twilight Sparkle began.

"What's the big deal about a crown?" Paco wondered.

"Well for one, it's also a magical element and without it the other elements have no power and Equestria is left without one of its most important means of defense." Twilight explained.

The kids were all stunned by this and started to understand just how important her mission was.

"Ok… starting to see what the big deal is." Paco muttered.

    "Ditto." Tommy nodded.

    "Agreed." Edwin added.

"So what happened next?" Darla inquired eagerly. "Did you get the crown!?"

Twilight nodded. "Indeed I did, and after that I thought the portal between our two worlds would be closed…" she admitted.

"Why do you say that?" Mary questioned.

"Well you see… the portal only opens every thirty moons and stays open for just three days, that's how long I had to get my crown back." Twilight Sparkle explained. "After I came back the portal closed and I was told it would not open again for another thirty moons."

"Say… I think we came through a mirror!" Tommy realized.

"You did?" Twilight asked them surprised.

Mary nodded. "Yeah, did your happen to be lavender with deep magenta gems embedded all around it?" she asked.

"Yes… it was!" Twilight Sparkle realized.

"What does it mean?" Spike asked.

"It means, that the mirror in this world and the mirror in our world are twins." Edwin deduced.

"Then this is a big problem…" Twilight mused concerned.

    "Why?" Darla wondered.

"Well like I said before, the portal has already closed, you may have been able to enter Equestria but it will be another thirty moons before you can go home." Twilight Sparkle explained to them, sadness was apparent in her voice.

"Thirty moons? THIRTY MOONS!? Wait… how long is thirty moons again?" Paco questioned, confused.

    Felix shrugged. "Beats me."

"Ed?" Tommy asked his older adopted brother.

"Let's see… every month has one full one so that's twelve, times it by two and you get twenty four then add six more months and you get… two years and six months." Edwin clarified.

    "Oh." Felix said simply.

It didn't take long for Edwin's calculation on just how long they were gonna be stuck there sunk into it their heads and when it finally did their eyes widen and jaws dropped.

    "WHAT!?" They all yelled.

Their exclamation was so loud that every critter outside of it heard it, they all turned their heads towards the cottage concerned and also noticed that all the clouds in the sky were slowly becoming blood red and cracking with lightning.

    6. Shock and Awe

    Chapter 6

By the time the shock had finally worn off on the kids, Mary turned to Tommy seemingly calm, cool and collected.

    "My I start?" she offered.

Tommy nodded. "Be my guest," he replied.

Mary then began to scream at the top of her lungs, and pretty soon after all six kids were either running around in circles, standing still or rocking back and forth in a ball inside Fluttershy's cottage screaming their heads off. The Mane Six, Spike and the Apple family just stood there bewildered and unsure of what to do.

When she had finally had enough Twilight used her magic to grab each of them and levitate them into the air to keep them from going anywhere. But they still kept on screaming.

"Whoa, whoa, kids calm down." Big McIntosh told them gently. They quickly headed his words and stopped screaming all together, it is then that they notice that they are floating.

    "Whoa!" Mary exclaimed.

    "Is this… telekinesis?" Edwin questioned.

Twilight shook her head. "Nope, it's real magic."

"Told you magic exists!" Darla said to Edwin a bit smugly.

Edwin attempted to speak and try to explain what was occurring to them at that moment but all that came out of his mouth was stuttering.

"Huh, you got him speechless!" Paco remarked. "You know how long I've waited for this moment?"

"A… super, duper, terrifically long time?" Pinkie Pie guessed excitedly.

    "Bingo." Paco nodded.

"Yes! Nailed it!" Pinkie Pie said in a sing-song voice.

"Speaking of long, it appears that we are all going to be stuck in this world for a pretty long time as well." Mary reminded them.

"More specifically two and a half years." Edwin added.

"Oh no… Mom and Dad are gonna be so worried!" Darla exclaimed.

"You mean your parents?" Twilight Sparkle inquired a bit surprised.

    "Sort of…" Felix admitted.

"They are not our parents!" Paco said sternly.

    "Paco!" Mary scolded.

"Legally they are." Edwin pointed out. He turned to the Pony gang who were looking at them strangely. "All of us here, except for Darla have no parents, her parents just adopted the rest of us."

"Oh my… you poor things." Fluttershy said sympathetically and sadly. Everypony else looked at them with sad and sympathetic looks as well.

"Oh, it's ok, Darla's parents are really nice." Tommy assured them. "It's just too bad that now we won't be able to see them for two and a half years…"

"It could be worse." Edwin pointed out.

"Yeah, it could be two thousand years." Mary added in agreement.

"Somehow that doesn't make me feel better…" Paco bemoaned.

"Calm down, I'm sure if we tell the Princess she'll think of some way of getting you all back." Twilight told them.

"But… can't we stay a little longer?" Darla questioned innocently.

"Darla, we can't stay here, your parents will be worried sick if we're gone too long!" Felix pointed out.

"He's right, besides I have a feeling our being here is not good for this dimension." Edwin added. "Like Twilight said, the portal was already supposed to be closed."

"Aw, come on guys! Look around you, it's a world full of talking ponies and dragons!" Darla pointed out. "This is like a dream come true for me! Can we please stay longer? Please?"

While Darla continued to beg, Tommy looked out the window and saw something that made his eyes widen a bit.

"Uh… guys? You might want to take a look at this," he told them slowly. Everypony walked over to the window to see what he was seeing and they all gasped when they saw the red clouds covering the sky and yellow lightning flashing uncontrollably.

"Oh my!" Granny Smith remarked in shock.

"Uh… is that supposed to happen around here?" Paco questioned, a bit worried.

"Well the Pegasi ponies usually control the weather but this weather looks…" Rainbow Dash started.

    "Wild…" Fluttershy added.

    "Not to mention…" Applejack continued.

    "Scary looking!" Applebloom cried.

    "Eeyup!" Big Mac agreed.

"So in other words…" Tommy began to say.

"No… not at all…" Twilight ended with a grim tone.

The sky continues to flash with yellow lightning and boom with loud thunder all over the area, making the land of Equestria look like a very hazardous place to live. Even from Canterlot Castle, Princesses Celestia and Luna could see the bizarre weather patterns occurring all over the land.

"What is this?" Luna asked her older sister.

    "I don't know…" Celestia replied grimly. "I truly do not know…"

    7. Going to Help

    Chapter 7

Everypony rushed out of the Apple Family's home and looked up at the nightmarish sky above them.

    "Whoa… what's happening?" Felix wondered.

"Yeah, and ya better come up with an explanation quick because my brain is jumping to… 'It's the end of the world'!" Paco exclaimed.

"Twi?" Applejack asked her alicorn friend, hoping for an explanation.

"Well… uh…" Twilight Sparkle tried to say but couldn't figure out the right words for it. Then all of a sudden, little twisters began to swirl around in various parts of the land and close to Ponyville, while rapid amounts of yellow lightning strike the ground hard and fast.

"IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!" Pinkie Pie shrieked.

    "What SHE said!" Paco cried.

All sixteen of them then began to hear loud shrieks and screams of panic from below in Ponyville.

Felix spoke everyone's thoughts. "What the heck?"

Everypony looked toward the town and saw that the screams were coming from Ponyville.

"The town's people are in trouble!" Twilight cried.

"Wha-what do we do?" Darla asked, greatly concerned.

"What do you think? We go help them!" Rainbow Dash proclaimed.

"Absolutely, come on girls, let's go!" Twilight Sparkle told them as they began to leave.

"Hey! What about us?!" Paco proclaimed.

"Sorry, but it's far too dangerous for children." Fluttershy said.

"We are not children, we are smart." Edwin stated.

"Whatever, just stay put!" Rainbow Dash told them firmly.

"Yeah, why don't you kids stay here with Granny Smith, Big Mac and Apple Bloom while we try to get everypony down there to safety." Applejack added, before she and the others start to run off.

"Spike, you stay here too." Twilight said before heading off as well.

"Aw man, this sucks!" Paco proclaimed. "It's bad enough Mr. and Mrs. Dabney tell us what to do all the time now these talking ponies are going to as well?"

"Well, that's reality for you." Felix remarked.

"Yeah, well, I don't care what those girls say, we gotta go down there and help them out any way we can!" Tommy declared.

"I couldn't agree more!" Mary agreed.

    "Me too!" Darla added.

"I'm in as well." Edwin said with a nod.

    "Nope." Big McIntosh told them.

"What do you mean 'nope'?" Paco questioned, annoyed.

"He means what he said youngster." Granny Smith told the kids. "We can't just let little things such as yourselves go down there, it's far too dangerous."

"No offence Granny, but it's dangerous for everypony." Tommy countered.

    "Everypony?" Paco echoed, in disbelief.

"Hey, as long as we're here we might as well speak the lingo." Tommy said, with a shrug.

"True," Edwin said with a nod.

"Alright then, let's go help them!" Mary declared. The kids begin to move forward when suddenly Big McIntosh stands in their way.

"Let me guess… you're not gonna let us pass, are you?" Tommy questioned matter-of-factly.

    "Nope." Big McIntosh responded.

"Thought so, alright guys… DOGPILE!" Tommy shouted. All six kids then jumped right onto Big Mac and toppled him over, startling Apple Bloom and Granny Smith.

    "Big Mac!" Spike cried.

The six of them, then stood up.

"Ok, he's down, now run!" Paco yelled as he and the others started to run after Twilight and the others.

"Hey! Get back here!" Apple Bloom called out.

"Stop! Wait!" Spike shouted, attempting to catch up with them but he quickly tired himself out.

"Too late, their gone." Granny Smith said, shaking her head. "But my oh my, those youngsters are quicker than jackrabbits!"

"I'll say… ooh Twilight's gonna kill me!" Spike bemoaned, before a bolt of lightning hit the ground near him, making him jump a bit. He shook, clearly frightened. "Unless this storm does first that is…

Apple Bloom looked over Big McIntosh. "Uh… Big McIntosh? Are you ok?"

Big Mac only let out a soft groan as his eyes seemed to roll around in his head.

"Oh he'll be fine, your brother's been through worse." Granny Smith assured her. "It's those youngsters I'm worried about…"

Apple Bloom also looked toward worried, not just for her sister and her friends but the strange visitors as well.

    8. Fall of Ponyville

    Chapter 8

Meanwhile in Ponyville, the village was in complete turmoil, cracking were beginning to open up all over the town and lightning struck the ground ever few seconds. All of Ponyville's inhabitants were all screaming and running for their lives.

One Mare rushes down the street pushing a stroller carrying her foal but a tumor makes her accidently push the stroller and send in rolling down the chaotic street.

    "My baby!" she shrieked.

But before the stroller could go any further it is stopped by a magical aura, and that magical aura belong to none other than Twilight herself. Several of the townspeople recognized her.

    "Princess Twilight!"

Everypony then started bowing. "No time to bow." Twilight told them all, clearly in a hurry. "We need to clear everypony out of here. GO!"

The ponies all nodded and began to follow her orders and flee the town. As they were fleeing a crack in the earth began to appear and spread all around the town, separating several ponies from their family and causing some to nearly fall into the large crevice that was growing in the ground as the plates continued to spread apart. One family in particular, consisting of a mare and her young daughter being split apart by the crevice.

    "MOMMY! MOMMY!" The filly cried.

"NO! MY BABY! SOMEPONY HELP MY BABY!" The mare cried, desperately as tears flowed down her face and daughter was split farther and farther from her.

Suddenly, the young filly lost her balance and tumbled toward the edge of the crevice. She screamed as she prepared to fall to her doom.

    "NO!" The adult pony screamed.

The young pony's screams stopped when she it suddenly caught by something. It was the hoop of a crutch, which belonged to Felix Freeman who was bending his left leg and .holding the stick end of his crutch to grab the pony. He pulled the little pony over to his side on the crevice where the rest of his foster siblings were standing.

"Hi there, you ok?" Felix asked the little pony, who nodded rapidly, still shaken, though the joyful tears and smile on her face proves that she was grateful for his help. Paco then took her.

"Here! Catch!" he cried as he tossed the little filly onto her mother's back. The child wrapped her hooves around her mother's neck and smiled as she snuggled into her coat.

"Oh thank you, thank you so much!" The mare cried. Felix and Paco did a two finger salute.

"Come on guys, there's still some ponies around here that need our help!" Tommy told the others before rushing off.

"Man… this has been one crazy day…" Mary remarked.

"And it appears by the look of the town that it is about to get much more intense." Edwin stated.

"No offence smart guy but this whole trip has been intense from the start." Paco pointed out. "Now I don't know about you guys but I say we stop talking and start moving before something else tries to bite us."

"No question." Felix agreed. They all began running towards where a large group of mares and stallions were all frozen with fear due to the cracks approaching them.

"Hey! You guys!" Tommy called out. The group of Ponies turn to him, a bit bewildered by their appearances. "Don't ask questions just get to safety!"

"Follow the Princess, she'll lead you to a safe place!" Mary added. The ponies all look at each other unsure.

"If you don't move now you'll end up falling through the cracks and…" Paco began before making a throat cutting gesture, as a way to remind them what the alternative was. The group panicked and began to move, with Felix gesturing to the safe path behind them.

"Stay calm, single file, no pushing, one at a time," he told them calmly. Then the ground began to shake and crack up even more, which made Felix begin to panic. "Ok! All at once! All at once!"

The ponies all rushed away even faster this time.

"Is that all of them?" Tommy wondered.

"Yeah, I think that's everyone." Paco replied, before a large chuck of the ground lift up nearby them as a another shake occurred.

    "Help! Help!"

The kids all turn and see a lone pony inside one of the little houses trapped as the cracks began to reach it.

"That house is gonna get swallowed up if we don't do something quick!" Edwin deduced quickly, he actually sounded like he was starting to panic for once.

    "Oh fork me…" Paco groaned.

"Come on! We have to have save that pony!" Darla cried.

"How? There's no getting to her!" Felix pointed out.

"We got to do something!" Tommy insisted.

    "Any ideas?" Mary wondered.

    "We got one!"

The kids look up and around them and watch as the Mane Six appeared and flew over their heads and ran past them.

"Never thought the Calvary would look quite like that!" Felix remarked.

"None of us did." Edwin reminded him.

"I'll say!" Paco added in agreement.

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy both began to use their wings to blow out the flames all over the little house, Applejack and Pinkie Pie also kicked some dirt into the flames to help die it out. When the flames were cleared Twilight and Rarity both magically levitated the trapped pony out of the house and onto the ground, where she ran off quickly afterwards. The kids were amazed.

    "That…" Edwin started.

    "Was…" Mary continued.

    "AMAZING!" Darla squealed.

"Yeah, it was. Amazing…" Toby agreed.

    "More like awesome!" Felix added.

"I've seen better." Paco stated, folding his arms. His siblings all glared at him.

"Well at least there is some positive news, look around." Edwin told the others. They did so and noticed that the shaking and the raging storm had ceased.

    "Hey… it's stopped!" Felix realized. "It's over!"

"For now at least…" Mary added, as Twilight and the other approached them.

"Are you all ok?" she asked.

"We're fine, don't worry." Tommy assured.

"Yeah, we can take care of ourselves." Paco stated.

    "Uh-huh?" Rainbow Dash asked convinced.

Darla started cheering. "You guys were amazing! You saved all the ponies in town!"

"Aw-shucks sweetie, it was nothing." Applejack said bashfully.

"Are all the ponies ok?" Tommy questioned.

"Yes, everypony is safe." Twilight Sparkle nodded. "Thank Celestia…"

"More like thanks to all of you." Mary pointed out.

"Oh pish-posh dearie, it was nothing really, although we all quite flattered." Rarity smiled.

"Of course we did it, we're awesome!" Rainbow Dash stated proudly. "But it was nice having you kids there."

"Yeah, we do amazing, super-tastic things every day!" Pinkie Pie added excitedly. "Hey! We should give you guys a welcome to Equestria/Thanks for helping us party!"

    "Really?" Darla asked excitedly.

"Oh, absolutely!" Pinkie Pie smiled, rubbing Darla's head affectionately.

"That will be somewhat hard to do Pinkie… considering…" Edwin told her sombrely, gesturing to around them. Everypony looked around and were devastated to see that the entire town of Ponyville, every building, every home, literally everything around them was either greatly damaged or reduced to rubble.

"Ponyville… our homes… gone." Twilight breathed, horrified. "It's all gone!"

"Aw man… this place really is totalled…" Paco commented.

    "Princess… we're so sorry…" Tommy began.

Rainbow Dash zoomed over to the kids, her muzzle nearly touching their faces, she looked to be quite angry at them. "This is all your faults!" she exclaimed.

"HOW is it our fault?" Edwin questioned, annoyed.

"Rainbow, these youngsters had nothing to do with this!" Applejack told her hotly. "You know that!"

"She's right Rainbow, we know your upset but you can't just pin the blame on anypony who just happens to be nearby." Twilight stated.

"Please calm down… we're all sad about the town as well." Fluttershy begged gently.

Rainbow lowered herself to the ground sadly. "I know it's just…"

"I'm afraid Rainbow Dash is right."

Everyone looked up and to their awe, especially the kids, they saw Princess' Celestia and Luna lowering themselves from the sky. They were quite a sight to behold.

"Princess Celestia! Princess Luna!" Twilight Sparkle said, surprised.

"Greeting my little ponies." Princess Celestia said warmly, she also smiled at Tommy the others. "Young ones."

The girls all bowed at the sight of their fair Princess'. The kids all bow respectfully except Paco who soon gets his head shoved down by Mary. Then it hit Paco.

"Wait a minute, what do you mean 'Rainbow Dash is right'?" Paco inquired, incredulously.

"She means all this destruction… all this devastation… is because of all of you." Luna told them seriously. Horrified looks appeared on the kids' faces, as well as the Mane Six.

    9. Learning the Cause

    Chapter 9

The kids were all stunned for a whole minute, having learned that they were the cause for the destruction of Ponyville until Paco finally spoke up. "But that.. that's not possible!" he proclaimed. "We didn't do this! It was the Earthquake's fault!"

"Yes, please explain to us how six pre-adolescent children caused such destruction." Edwin said, adjusting his glasses calmly, hoping for an explanation.

"Please ma'am, how did this happen?" Tommy asked, politely.

"Simple, this destruction was caused by your presence here." Luna told them, bluntly.

    "Our presence?" Mary echoed.

"Twilight, you remember what I said when I could not allow your friends to go with you to their alternate world?" Celestia question. "I told you that sending all of them with you would upset the balance of this alternate world, creating havoc and chaos such as what you see around you."

"So… this happened because more than one of us went through the stinkin portal?" Paco exclaimed, incredulously.

"Correct, and what is worse our entire world is danger of exploding unless all of you are returned to your world within three days." Princess Luna continued solemnly. This caused everypony to look shocked behind belief.

"Hold on a second!" Pinkie Pie said before taking a glass of water out of nowhere, taking a drink and doing a massive spit take, which ends up getting some of the kids wet, she giggled a bit. "Sorry!"

    "Nice touch though." Felix admitted.

"You see the longer you six stay on in Equestria the negative energies created by the unbalanced worlds begins to take over the planet, causing more devastation, massive instability and eventual self-destruction." Princess Celestia finished.

    "Whoa…" Rainbow Dash breathed.

"Oh my…" Fluttershy said, looking quite scared. Rarity just fainted dead away in a dramatic manner.

"WHAT? Man, you got to be kidding, Princess! You mean we have three days to get back home or this world goes kaboom?" Felix asked, in shock.

"With us on it?" Mary added, which made Darla whimper and cling to her older sister's leg.

Princess Celestia nodded. "That's exactly right."

There was a long moment of silence that filled the air as the ponies and the kids began to process all of it, it took a while before Applejack finally spoke.

"Well then it's simple, we'll just these kids back home, fix up the town and everything's normal again!" Applejack stated.

"Oh, that's a great plan!" Paco exclaimed sarcastically. "Except about the part about us not knowing how to get back!"

    "Maybe we do…" Twilight mused.

Everypony, including the kids from the alternate world turn to Equestria's newest princess.

"What do you mean Twilight Sparkle?" Princess Celestia inquired.

    "Yes, please explain." Luna added.

There is a pause before Twilight spoke. "Pack your bags and Elements of Harmony everypony; we're going to the Crystal Empire!"

"The Crystal Empire?" Everypony, besides the kids inquired, shocked.

"The Crystal what now?" Paco asked, confused.

"Empire. They already said it twice." Edwin reminded him.

"But why there Twilight?" Rainbow Dash questioned, confused.

"Look, the way I see it the only of getting these kids home is to make our own portal using a reflective surface just like the hand mirror in the library." Twilight explained. "All we need to do is combined our Elements power with the power of the Crystal Heart, that should be more than enough power to create a portal and the reflective natures of the crystals will be our own substitute mirror."

    "This could work…" Celestia mused.

"It will work." Luna stated firmly. "It has to."

"Yeah… otherwise… this whole place is doomed." Tommy added.

"Bummer…" Felix muttered, the others nodded in agreement.

"Well then… what are we waiting for?" Paco demanded. "Let's get packed, get to this Crystal Empire place and get the heck back home! Follow me! To victory!"

Paco ran off in a hurry while the others just stood there, bewildered. It took a while but Paco finally began to stop and think about what he was doing.

"I have NO IDEA where I'm going…" he admitted.

Edwin sighed and face palmed in shame.

Tommy walked over to Rainbow with an apologetic look on his face. "Listen… Miss Rainbow? I'm sorry that we caused all of this…" he said.

Mary walked over as well. "Yeah, we didn't know this would happen…" she added.

Rainbow only sighed. "Let's just focus on getting you kids home ok? Good."

While Rainbow flew off a head Tommy lowered his head sadly as Twilight put a hoof on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, it'll be alright," she told him. "She just needs time."

"Well I hope your right about every being ok soon… for all our sakes…" Mary said.

Author's Note: Yes I know it's short but I had to post something, it's been quite a while you know. I'll try to expand it later on but plus do give me a break I'm doing the best I can! he said stressed.

    10. Setting Off

    Chapter 10

Later, the Mane Six as well as the six children had just arrived at the train station, where their train would take them straight to the Crystal Empire. Before leaving Twilight was having one last conversation with Spike, who wanted to come with but not knowing the dangers they might face Twilight insisted that he'd stay. The apple family had also come as well, to say their goodbyes.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" Spike asked, concerned.

"Yes, I'm sure." Twilight Sparkle stated, putting a hoof on his shoulder. "I need you to look after everypony and the library while I'm gone. Ok?"

    "Oh ok…" Spike sighed.

"Thanks Spike." Twilight smiled, putting him into a hug which he returned. Darla watched the scene and smiled also.

"Aw! How cute!" she squealed happily.

"Blah! Whose up for a group hurl?" Paco asked, pointing to his open mouth.

Mary jabbed him in the arm. "Don't be rude, Paco! Honestly!"

Paco rubbed his sore arm. "Ugh… girl, you hit hard!"

"And don't you forget it!" Mary reminded him.

"Be careful A.J." Big Mac told her.

"I will big brother, and I trust you can take care of everything while I'm gone?" Applejack asked.

    "Eeyup." Big McIntosh confirmed.

"Go get 'em Applejack!" Granny Smith told her.

"I will Granny Smith." Applejack nodded, then she rubbed Apple Bloom's head affectionately. "Take care little sis…"

"You too Applejack." Apple Bloom said smiling with tears in her eyes. Tommy watched the two sisters embraced with a somewhat sad look on his face.

"Alright you guys that's enough, let's just get on the train and get moving." Tommy told them.

"Kid's right, we gotta get moving before the whole is blown apart remember?" Rainbow pointed out, Twilight shoved her hoof in her mouth to keep her quiet.

"Quiet Rainbow! We don't want to panic anypony yet." Twilight told her, sternly.

"Sorry…" Rainbow Dash apologized. "I'm just anxious to get moving, that's all

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get moving!" Mary declared as she headed for the train, along with everyone else. But then the conductor stopped them.

"Whoa there… whatever you kids are. You can't go on the train without a ticket." Conductor.

"Aw, come on man! We need to get to the Crystal Empire now!" Paco complained. "Like right this freaking minute!"

"He is merely following the rules Paco." Edwin pointed out. "No need to get impatient."

"Yeah, chill out man." Felix told him.

"Chill out, dude the whole world is shaking apart!" Paco proclaimed, before Tommy closed his mouth shut.

"Quiet Paco! Or you'll freak all these pony's out!" Tommy whispered to him. Then Twilight approached the conductor.

"It's ok sir, they are with us," she told him.

The conductor quickly realized who he was speaking with and his eyes widen. "Oh! He cried, before bowing. "Apologizes, Princess. You and your friends my board, no ticket needed!"

The kids and the ponies were all surprised and happy with this news.

    "Awesome!" Felix exclaimed.

    "Excellent!" Edwin added.

"Boy, being roll must come with some awesome perks!" Paco mused, smiling.

"I guess it's ok, but it still feels weird you know…" Twilight admitted.

"Well at least we get to board." Mary stated.

"Yeah, that's right! So let's get this show on the road!" Rainbow Dash declared, as she walked in also, and one by one the others began to step inside as well.

"Yeah, that's what I like to here!" Paco added, as he rushed inside.

"Oh… I just hope it won't be too dangerous…" Fluttershy said softly as she walked in. Right behind her was Darla, who gazed at the train with wide eyes.

"Wow! I've never been on a train before…" Darla said in awe.

"Well then you're in for the ride of your life! Because this is gonna be tons and tons of fun!" Pinkie Pie told her, ecstatically. Both she and Darla whooped for joy as they went in.

"Calm yourselves, we are not on vacation we are on a mission." Edwin reminded them.

"Sugarcube's right, let's try and stay focused on the task at hand y'all." Applejack agreed as she and Edwin walked in together.

"I just hope we can through this and be done by no later than ten o'clock, I have an large amount of important dresses to deliver." Rarity stated. "This is… if the boutique hasn't been destroyed…"

"Wow, that's pretty nice of you." Felix remarked.

"Why thank you darling and I must say out of all your siblings you seem to have a very practical yet fashionable sense of style." Rarity remarked as she went it.

"Thanks, I'm even thinking of dying my hair blond." Felix stated, as he followed her inside. "I'm hoping it'll attract girls."

Mary face palmed at this as she began to make her way inside along with Twilight. She let out a sigh. "Honestly… brothers can be such a pain sometimes…" she gripped.

"Yeah, sometimes siblings can be like that…" Twilight Sparkle said, comfortingly. "But don't worry, they grow on you."

"Have you ever dealt with an annoying brother before?" Mary questioned.

"Well… no, my brother and I were really close when we were young." Twilight admitted.

    "Lucky you…" Mary remarked, flatly.

Tommy turned back towards Spike and the Apple Family thoughtfully.

"Don't worry everyone, we'll fix this, I promise," he said to them.

"Good lucky sonny." Granny Smith waved.

    "Eeyup." Big Mac added.

    "Bye!" Apple Bloom waved enthusiastically.

Tommy smiled at them one last time before he entered the train. The doors closed behind him. Tommy continued to gaze out the window towards the destroyed town before the conductor signalled the train to move. As the train began rolling and making little clacking noises as it hit the tracks Tommy continued to gaze at the town thoughtfully. Mary noticed this and looked at him concerned.

"Hey, you ok?" Mary asked him.

"I'm fine it's just… I hope we can fix this, and fast." Tommy said.

    "We will." Mary stated.

"I hope so… because if we don't both world are gonna be torn apart… and it'll be all our fault…" Tommy said sadly. Mary put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, while Twilight watched them from a far with a sad look on her face. She wiped a tear from her eye and walked away.

    11. Train Ride

    Chapter 11

Later, as the train began to get closer and closer to the Crystal Empire snow began to fall all around them, much to the kid's amazement, while Paco just sighed, bored.

"Are we there yet?" he asked.

Mary turned to him, crossed. "That wasn't funny the first fifteen times you said it either, you know" she informed him

Darla pressed her face against the window. "Wow! Snow! Real snow!" she squealed.

Felix turned to the pony gang who looked at her a bit confused. "She's… never really seen snow before, we live in a no-snow area," he informed them.

"Why can't you just ask somepony to make it snow there?" Rainbow Dash inquired, incredulously.

    "Ask someone?" Tommy questioned.

"It may work differently here but on Earth people cannot control the weather, it is beyond our comprehension." Edwin stated.

    "Like he said." Paco added.

"Wow! So… do the clouds move all on their own in your world?" Fluttershy inquired, a bit nervously.

"Yeah, of course." Mary nodded casually, not noticing her nervousness.

"Plus the planets grow AND animals care for themselves." Tommy added, Rarity fainted dramatically at the end of that last sentence. The kids stare at her blankly.

Paco pointed to her. "If anyone asks… we're not with her," he said.

Twilight chuckled nervously and embarrassed. "Sorry about her, it's just that your world and our world are very different and the only place that closely resembles your world is the Everfree forest a place few ponies venture…" she explained.

"Guess it kind of freaks you out hearing that there are places full of things you guys can't control with your… magic or whatever, huh?" Tommy said.

"You could say that." Twilight nodded. "I know I had a hard time adjusting to your world when I went there. One can only imagine how anypony else would take it…"

"Come on! How bad could it be?" Rainbow Dash questioned, full of confidence.

"Very." Edwin stated, bluntly. "Though right now this world seems to be the most dangerous, what with all the quakes caused by our presence here going off and everything."

"That's putting it mildly." Felix remarked.

"Well don't worry your pretty little heads kiddies, once we get to the Crystal Empire it'll be all ok!" Pinkie Pie assured them.

"Hope so Pink, hope so…" Applejack said, slowly, almost seeming a bit unsure for some reason.

"So what's the Crystal Empire like?" Tommy questioned.

"Oh, well it's a very special place, sort of like a Kingdom where everything and everypony is made of crystal." Twilight explained. "And it's ruled by my brother and former foal sitter."

"Wow, that's pretty cool!" Felix remarked.

"Wow! A real kingdom?" Darla inquired excitedly.

"That's right, there's even one called Canterlot, it's near Ponyville." Twilight added, the she seemed to look very worried. "Oh, I sure hope Canterlot is doing alright and the Princess' and my parents are safe."

"Ya, don't you fret Twi, I'm sure the Princess' have everything under control there." Applejack assure her.

Fluttershy nodded. "That's right and I'm sure your parents are both ok, too."

"Do you think our parents are doing ok too?" Darla asked Mary, worriedly.

"They're not our…" Paco began before a stern glare from Mary made him shut up instantly. She then put a comforting hand on her adopted younger sister's shoulder.

"Don't worry Darla, I'm sure they're both ok and soon we'll be back home in no time." Mary assured her.

"So long as nothing else happens." Edwin added.

"Dude!" Paco snapped at Edwin, while everyone glared at him annoyed.

"Just being honest." Edwin admitted with a shrug.

"Well I can honestly say that now that were on our way to the Crystal Empire, it's nothing but smooth sailing from here on out!" Applejack declared. This caused the other kids, as well as some of the other ponies to groan out loud. "What?"

"Whenever someone says something like 'everything's gonna be just fine' they're always wrong!" Darla exclaimed.

"And thanks to you we're doomed to a train ride of bad luck!" Paco stated.

"Aw, come on, y'all are being silly!" Applejack told them.

Fluttershy looked out the window on her side of the train and saw something that caused her eyes to widen with great fright; cracks were beginning to follow them down the tracks as they rode on.

    "Uh… girls? Kids?" she squeaked.

"What is it Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked.

"Are we sure that the destruction that hit Ponyville isn't following us?" The yellow Pegasus asked worried.

"Impossible. There's no way a natural disaster can follow a person." Edwin stated.

"And even if it could, why do you ask?" Felix questioned.

Tommy then glanced out his window and began to get Fluttershy's point. "Uh… Ed? You might want to rethink your position on the whole 'disasters can't follow you' thing," he told his older adoptive sibling. They all look out their windows and also saw the cracks in the icy ground following them as they rode down the tracks and saw that they were gaining on them.

Mary turned to Paco. "May I start?" she asked politely.

    "Be my guest." Paco offered.

Mary was then the first to start screaming her head off, followed by everypony else while the cracks continued to crush the area around them as they continued to move down the tracks.

"What do we do!? What do we do!? What do we do!?" Felix exclaimed quickly and with fear in his voice.

"Felix calm down!" Tommy told him.

"Calm down!? Are train is about to fall into the earth!?" Felix pointed out.

"Yeah, kinda hard not to freak out over that." Paco agreed.

"I'm afraid I have to agree darling." Rarity added.

"Mary, I don't want to die! I don't want to die!" Darla cried, as she held her older adoptive sister tightly with tearful and fear filled eyes.

"Calm down Darla, we're all gonna be ok." Mary assured her. Then as the cracks grew closer to the tracks the whole train began to shake violently. Everypony struggled to held on to anything they could grab as they all held on for their lives and started screaming at the top of their lungs.

"Ok… I withdraw my earlier statement!" Mary exclaimed.

"What do we do!?" Fluttershy questioned loudly and fearfully.

"We have to stop this train before anypony else gets hurt!" Twilight declared.

"Unwise. If we stop now the train will most indeed 'fall into the earth'." Edwin stated.

"Then what the hay do we do!?" Rainbow asked, loudly.

Edwin pulled up one of the windows. "We get out! NOW!" he said firmly.

"You heard the man." Tommy said to everypony.

"Right." Twilight nodded, before turning to Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow, fly over to the front of the train and tell them to get out as fast as they can!"

"On it!" Rainbow Dash said as she flew out the window.

    "Out! Everypony out!" Tommy cried.

"Race ya!" Pinkie Pie cheered as she hopped toward the window, climbed out and up to the top of the train. Everypony else quickly followed suit.

At the front of the train the conductor and the coal crew were beginning to look worried as the cracks began to speed ahead of the train itself. Then Rainbow appeared in front of them.

    "Get out!" she cried.

They all nod and leap out the door of the train as fast they could, landing softly in the soft snow on the side of them. Rainbow Dash flew over to the others who were all now on top of the train, with Mary pulling up Darla lastly.

"Ok, everypony's off!" Rainbow Dash reported.

    "Good work." Twilight nodded.

"Yeah, great but what about us, we still need to get off this train!" Paco pointed out.

"And fast! Look!" Felix informed them, pointed up ahead. Everypony turned and looked in horror as the ground and tracks in front of the train had just broken and crumbled away and was now a giant cliff that was getting bigger and bigger with each passing second and they were headed straight for it.

"Ooh… that's not good." Paco said slowly.

"Yeah, that's gonna leave one major booboo if we go over that!" Pinkie Pie stated.

"If we're lucky enough to survive it which I seriously doubt!" Felix said.

"We gotta jump!" Tommy told everyone.

    "What!?" His adopted sister exclaimed.

"No way man!" Felix shook his head.

"It's the only way!" Twilight Sparkle said to them. "Don't worry everypony, that's twenty feet of fresh snow, it'll be like landing on a pillow… hopefully."

"And it's either that or falling off a cliff…" Applejack said.

"Scary…" Rarity said slowly, before turning her attention to the rapidly approaching cliff. "Scarier! Let's jump!"

"Ok, on three. One…" Twilight began.

"Geronimo!" Paco as he and his adopted siblings leapt off the train. The ponies quickly followed.

"What happened to two and three!?" Fluttershy cried as she jumped also. By the time all of them landed in the snow the train had just fallen off the broken tracks and was then taking a nose dive off the cliff and toward the ground below. It made a loud creaking nose as the whole thing fell off and then a big and loud explosion as soon as it hit the bottom.

    12. Long Road Ahead

    Chapter 12

After the train crashed into the bottom of the cliff, Tommy had just sat up out of the snow and rubbed his sore head, he groaned in pain even though the landing was as soft as a pillow. He then turned to the others, who like him had made impact craters in the snow shaped like them. The kids each poke their heads out of the snow.

"Well… that was fun." Paco remarked, bitterly and sarcastically.

"Are you kidding?" Edwin questioned in disbelief.

"No, I'm being serious…" Paco said mockingly. "Oh course of joking! It's called sarcasm dude! Yeesh!"

    "Everyone ok?" Tommy asked, concerned.

    "I think so…" Felix nodded.

"I'm ok, Tommy." Mary assured him.

"Speak for yourself! I'm freezing!" Paco said, shivering. "And now I'll never complain about my alarm clock again…"

"You should have dressed more warmly." Edwin told him.

"I can't help it! I was born in Mexico! It's really hot there so excuse me for not being used to snow!" Paco exclaimed. The pony gang was the next to pop out of the snow.

"Everypony alright?" Twilight asked, each of them nodded and stated that they were fine.

"I wish I could say the same for the areas behind us…" Felix said with a slight moan as he looked in the direction they came from. Everypony turned and to their horror they saw large portions of land behind them becoming molten volcanoes with storms of lightning striking above and dozens of hurricanes whirling around on the molten ground. And of course they could hear the sounds of ponies screaming and running for their lives. All twelve of them were stunned and horrified.

    "Whoa…" Tommy breathed.

"Oh my gosh…" Twilight gasped, putting her hoof on her mouth in horror.

"Equestria… it's been torn apart!" Applejack exclaimed.

"Man… 2012 the movie anyone?" Paco remarked to the other kids.

"There's nothing funny about this, Paco!" Edwin scolded him.

"Would you relax!? I feel just as bad about this as you! For once…" Paco admitted.

"Well I can honestly with certainty that Fluttershy's theory of the quakes following us was right after all." Edwin said as he stood up and shook the snow off of him. The others stood up also.

"So… wherever we go… the disasters follow…" Mary said slowly. "Just like…"

"The train station!" Felix realized. The other ponies eyes widened.

"Oh no! Spike!" Twilight said, distressed.

"You don't think he and the others…" Fluttershy began, only to be stopped by Rarity.

"Ah, ah, ah, don't say it! Don't even think it!" Rarity told her a bit harshly, although she looked just as distressed as the others.

"Can we go now?" Paco asked, impatiently. "Standing here is making me nervous… and cold!"

"Yes, moving along would be good." Edwin agreed.

"But… how are we supposed to get to the Crystal Empire now?" Twilight questioned, distressed.

    "Easy; we walk." Tommy stated.

    "Walk!?" Rarity exclaimed.

"Yeah, it's the only thing we can do right now." Felix told her.

"But… but… do you understand how long it would take for us to walk all the way there!?" Rarity proclaimed.

"I'm guessing a long time." Tommy shrugged.

"A very long time! A very, very long time!" Rarity stated loudly. "And I don't believe my hoofs can carry me that far…"

"Oh hush up, Rarity!" Applejack told her, a bit annoyed. "It'll only take us forever if we keep standing here complaining about it!"

"She's right, we gotta keep moving!" Twilight agreed. "It's the only way to get the Crystal Empire and get these kids home."

"I'm good with moving… staying here is making very nervous…" Fluttershy said with a whimper.

    Pinkie bounced. "I'm already moving!"

"Besides, a little walk through the snow never hurt anybody." Mary added.

"Well actually…" Edwin began before everyone gave him a death glare. "Never mind…"

"If that's the case we'd better hurry before the quakes reach this spot next!" Rainbow declared. Darla looked at the spot she was standing on and looked greatly distressed as she begins to move around nervously till Mary held her closely and comforted her.

"So everyone ok with walking?" The ten-year old asked, the group.

His adopted siblings and the pony gang, aside from Rarity nodded in confirmation.

"Well, we took a vote; motion carried!" Tommy declared. "Move out!"

All eleven of them then began to walk through the snow in the direction of the Crystal Empire while Rarity just stood there dumbstruck.

"But… but…" she tried to say.

"Don't forget to write!" Pinkie Pie called out to her.

Realizing that she would just freeze to death if she just stood there in the middle of the frozen wasteland Rarity began to trot after them.

"I know I'm going to regret this…" The unicorn muttered. "Oh, wait for me!"

And so, the twelve of them began their long, perilous journey across the large blanket of snow towards the Crystal Empire, where their only hope of saving Equestria lied. But not long after they started walking Rarity had started whining.

"Oh my stars… I don't know if I can go on!" she proclaimed. "Can we please take a break for a little while?"

"We've only been walking for fifteen minutes!" Felix pointed out.

"Seems like forever," Rarity stated. "This air is just too cold for me!"

"And my wings are practically frozen!" Rainbow griped as she stared at her frozen wings, not liking the idea of not flying.

    "Mine too…" Fluttershy whimpered.

"Yeah… too cold…" Darla said, shivering.

"Maybe we should take a break somewhere…" Twilight mused.

"Where? I don't see a cave anywhere, do you?" Paco exclaimed.

"I saw one! We just passed it!" Pinkie chirped. Everyone stopped in their tracks and turned to her wide eyed.

"HUH?" They all remarked at once.

"Yeah, it's right there!" Pinkie said, pointing to large cavern near them.

"Huh, well I'll be darned…" Toby remarked, tilting his head.

"Darn, shmarn! Let's get inside already!" Paco exclaimed.

"I'm way ahead of ya, kid!" Rainbow declared as she zoomed off ahead. Everyone else soon followed and made their way toward the giant cavern. When they were inside they quickly scavenged up as much wood and burnable material inside the cave as they could find and thanks to Twilight's magic they were able to create a fire for them all to huddle around for warmth.

"Well… this isn't the best way to spend an afternoon, but I've had worse." Mary shrugged.

    "Really?" Fluttershy inquired.

"Not really, just trying to keep everyone's spirits up." Mary confessed to the Pegasus.

"So how much further Twi?" Applejack asked.

"From my calculations… three miles." Twilight replied.

Tommy shrugged. "Whatever, we'll get there in the morning," he said, in a tired tone before yawning.

"Aye… if there's anywhere to go to in the morning that is." Edwin pointed out. "What with this world literally crumbling around us and the destruction following us wherever we go."

"Not exactly an uplifting speech Ed." Felix told his adopted older brother.

"I'm just being realistic…" Ed said.

"And I miss Mom and Dad…" Darla whimpered. A atmosphere then appeared over all of the kids, as if a dark thunder cloud had appeared over each of their heads and was raining down on them hard.

"Yeah… me too." Mary agreed, sadly.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again; they aren't are parents they're your parents Darla." Paco reminded her, although the sadness on his own face was evident. He sighed. "But I kind of miss them too…"

"Why are you against calling them your parents anyway?" Twilight inquired.

"Well… I guess… most of us are still getting over losing our parents…" Tommy admitted. "So am I…"

"And they're all… gone?" Fluttershy asked, sadly.

"Well my Dad's in prison… and I don't know what happened to my Mom…" Felix said.

"Oh my! Prison! How dreadful…" Rarity shivered.

"So what was in for?" Rainbow questioned.

"Rainbow!" Twilight exclaimed, in a scolding tone, obviously mad at her friend for being so insensitive, as always.

"What? I just asked!" Rainbow Dash stated, not knowing what she did wrong.

"That topic is obviously very sensitive to someone like poor Felix." Fluttershy explained.

"Yeah, so you'd better watch your mouth and think before you speak, got it?" Applejack scolded her.

"Ok, ok! I'm sorry! Alright?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Ah, it's cool…" Felix told her. "Although I do miss my Dad though…"

"You should be thankful… at least your Dad is still alive, most of ours aren't." Tommy stated.

"Except for the pipsqueaks though." Paco added. "The rest of ours either abandoned us or…"

"Went away… in a sense." Edwin interjected. Not wanting him to mention the world 'died' to anyone, seeing how sad and depressed they all were already.

"Yeah, that's it…" Paco said, trying to play along.

"Come on you guys, we gotta keep our heads together, we'll get back to them." Tommy assured them.

"And save this world." Mary added.

"That's right… we just gotta keep our eyes on the prize." Twilight stated as she looked toward the horizon and the star filled sky where Luna's moon shined on all of them as they all lied down on the stone floor of the cave and fell asleep.

    13. A Crumbling Path

    Chapter 13

Tommy felt a brisk wind bellowing against him by the time he had begun to woke up. He was still half asleep so he couldn't process everything around him at first and at first he thought the brisk wind was coming from outside the cave at the time.

He slowly opened his eyes and when his vision cleared, he abruptly sat up with a wide eyed look on his face.

"Uh… guys? Wake up!" Tommy cried, his tone of voice sounding panicky. One by one the others rose up.

"Ugh… Tommy? What's going on?" Mary asked, a bit groggy.

"Is it time to go yet?" Paco added.

"Uh… you might want to look around…" Tommy told them, still stunned.

"Why?" Felix questioned. He and the others looked around and to their horror they all appear to be on a large rock on top of a very thin tower of rock connected to the very bottom which was a one why trip to a bottomless pit. The only way out that they could see was a far off edge of land on the other side. No doubt that while they were sleeping the land crumbled around them, destroying the cave and leaving only the spot that they were sleeping on intact, though not for long. They all screamed at the top of their lungs, which woke up the ponies.

    "What?" Twilight asked, waking up.

"What is it?" Rainbow Dash added, sounding annoyed that she was woken up so early.

"Hasn't anypony heard of beauty sleep!?" Rarity demanded.

"Forget beauty sleep! The cave is gone and were perched on top of a very fragile tower of rock!" Paco proclaimed.

    "What!?" Fluttershy said, fearfully.

    "Look around!" Edwin told them.

The girls did so and all screamed at the top of their lungs when they realize that the kids are right. Paco holds his sore ears.

"Ugh, it's like hanging out with dolphins!" Paco griped.

"W-What do we do?" Darla whimpered.

    Mary held her close. "I-I don't know…"

"Well I do! We got to get off this thing!" Applejack stated.

"How? Like us, you, Pinkie and Rarity can't fly!" Felix pointed out.

Rainbow Dash then flew up. "But me, Twilight and Fluttershy can!" she stated. "Course, Fluttershy is a bit scared of flying and… Twilight hasn't had much practice."

    "We're dead." Paco said.

Edwin turned to Fluttershy. "A Pegasus whose afraid to fly? Interesting," he mused.

"Who cares man!? We about to go on a way trip to a bottomless pit!" Felix exclaimed.

"Hey Twilight, Rainbow, how many of us can you carry at a time?" Tommy questioned.

    "Uh… I don't know… but I can try." Twilight said.

"I'll have you all over there in thirty seconds flat, no problem!" Rainbow declared. Just then the rock tower keeping them up began to crack up, causing Darla to cry out in panic.

"Could you make it twenty because this thing is about to go!" Paco exclaimed.

"Ok, Rainbow, Fluttershy, grab one of them and fly over to the edge where it's safe!" Twilight instructed her friends. They both nodded and grabbed one of the kids. Twilight grabbed Mary, Fluttershy grabbed Edwin and Rainbow grabbed Paco. They all flew over to the edge and landed safely on the ground.

"Wow! Can we do that again?" Paco asked, eagerly.

"Later, your heavy you know that?" Rainbow Dash asked, which earned her a scowl from Paco.

"Ok… now what Twi?" Applejack asked. "Like the little guy said; we can't fly!"

"But we can jump!" Pinkie Pie reminded them. "Remember; it's just a hop, skip and a jump away!"

Felix looked at the gap between them and the others. "That's one big jump…" he remarked.

"And you can't walk that well…" Darla told him.

"So what pray tell should we do then?" Rarity wondered.

"We'll figure it out somehow, the rest of you just get jump on over there!" Tommy told them.

    "What!?" Pinkie exclaimed.

    "No way!" Applejack stated.

"We can't just leave you children here!" Rarity added.

"Well does anyone have any other ideas? Because I think they can only care back one more group before this thing gives!" Felix stated, looking down toward the tower of thin rock that was breaking apart at the seams.

"Aw, nuts, he's right!" Applejack exclaimed, seeing the tower crumbling also. "Uh… Twi? Any ideas?"

"I'm trying to think!" Twilight said, stressed.

"You'd better think fast, your highness!" Paco told her.

"Can't we just fly everypony else across?" Rainbow asked.

"The winds are too dangerous and we don't have much time left as it is… I got it! Rarity, I'll my magic to carry everyone over here!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Are you sure you can handle that, darling?" Rarity asked her, concerned.

"I have to try!" Twilight Sparkle said, as she charged up her magic and began to levitate everypony on the rock up off the ground.

"Whoa!" Tommy exclaimed as he was lifted up.

"Hey, it's working! It's working!" Felix exclaimed, until he noticed Twilight was beginning to strain herself attempting to lift all six of them over the large gap between them all. "Uh-oh, it's not working! It's not working!"

    "Oh no!" Darla cried.

    "Come on Twi…" Applejack muttered.

It took a little while but Twilight finally managed to get Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie on the other side of the cliff, along with the others.

"We made it!" Pinkie Pie cheered.

"Great, now Twilight just has to get those kids across too!" Rainbow stated. They then heard a strained filled cry from Twilight, who looked very weak at the moment.

    "Twilight!" Applejack cried.

    "What's wrong?" Fluttershy asked, concerned.

"It's too much… can't… hold it...!" Twilight exclaimed as her magical aura faded and the kids landed back on the large rocket which then began to tilt back and forth constantly. They all scream in panic.

    "Oh no!" Rarity screamed.

    "Kids!" Pinkie cried.

"What do we do now!?" Felix yelled, as it continued to tilt back and forth.

"We have to jump!" Tommy told them.

    "Jump!?" Darla exclaimed.

    "Are you insane!?" Felix demanded.

"Relax! Just trust me!" Tommy said, loudly. "On three, we jump, ok?"

Darla and Felix both nod, showing that they seemed to trust Tommy greatly. They then begin to wait a little while as the rock they were standing on tilts further and further back and forth constantly.

"One… two… three!" Tommy cried once the rock leaned towards the others. The three of them all leapt off the rock and towards the ledge. They all screamed at the top of their lungs as they flew through the air, during that point time seemed to slow down and everyone watched as they started to fly towards them and then further down. Then just when it looked like they wouldn't make it, Tommy managed to grab the ledge as well as grab Felix's crutch, who in turn used his other crutch to grab Darla by her shoe. The trio were now a human chain close to breaking.

"Well… that happened." Felix remarked, in a deadpan tone.

"Quick! Pull us up!" Tommy cried. "Hurry!"

Mary quickly grabs Tommy's hand and attempts to pull him up, Paco then grabs onto her and Edwin grabs Paco and before long they all used their muscle strength to pull them all up on the solid ground along with the others. They all pant in exhaustion.

"Boy… remind me to hit the Gym… the next time Darla's Mom offers…" Paco breathed.

"I told you… she's… whew! Too tired to argue…" Darla said, exhausted. The ponies all rush to them.

"Oh my goodness, are you children ok?" Rarity asked, worried.

"We're fine Rarity, we're fine." Tommy assured her.

"That was some pretty swift thinking there, sport." Applejack remarked.

"Not to mention totally awesome!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, excited.

"Thanks… though I don't think I want to do it again…" Felix expressed.

    "Me neither…" Darla added.

"At least were all ok." Tommy stated.

"Not for much longer if these events continue to occur…" Edwin said, looking at the destroyed landscape that surrounded them.

"Then we'd better get to the Crystal Empire straight away!" Twilight Sparkle declared. "Come on!"

Twilight the started running ahead with everypony else following her close behind while the icy winds of the north howled all around them.

    14. Finally Arriving

    Chapter 14

Later, it didn't take long for them to nearly reach pathway to the Crystal Empire but because of the freezing winds it was getting harder and harder for them all to proceed.

Darla shivered like an earthquake. "I can't feel my toes!"

"I can't feel my anything!" Pinkie added.

Mary began to help Felix along the way as he tried his hardest to move himself through the snow with his crutches which was becoming harder and harder due to all the snow that was being built up.

"I don't know how much long Felix can keep going." Mary informed the others. "His legs don't work well remember?"

    Felix nodded weakly.

"Well… hang in there, we're almost there!" Twilight called out.

"Rainbow dear, do you think you can carry dear mister Felix the rest of the way?" Rarity asked.

    Rainbow sighed, annoyed. "Fine…"

Rainbow flew over, picked up Felix using her teeth and began to carrying him down the path along with the others.

"Cool! Now this the only way to travel!" Felix remarked.

"Don't get used to it, kid." Rainbow told him, her voice muffled by his shirt in her mouth.

"Are we any closer?" Tommy wondered.

"Just about!" Twilight called back. "Once we get inside it's barrier it should be pretty warm."

"Good to know… I'm not much a cold person." Paco stated.

"Ooh! Maybe you need a nice friendly hug!" Pinkie offered.

"No!" Paco exclaimed. "I don't do hugs, ok?"

"Yeah, cause your stench drives everyone away." Mary quipped.

"Ha-ha." The Latino boy laughed sarcastically.

"Guys, now's not the time…" Edwin advised them.

"Back off four eyes!" Paco told him, annoyed.

"Hey, leave him alone." Tommy stated.

"I don't need your help Tommy." Edwin said to his adopted younger brother.

"Guys, stop it! This rivalry is getting old." Mary told him.

"You never take my side!" Toby stated.

"I'm taking anyone's side!" Mary defended.

"False, you two are always teaming up against me." Edwin pointed out. The kids soon began arguing once more, much to the dismay of the others.

"Man… your sibling sure argue a lot." Rainbow Dash told Felix.

"Tell me about it…" Felix muttered.

"And it's interfering with your mission. We have to get to the Crystal Empire and fast!" Twilight reminded everypony.

"Stay out of it!" They all hollered. Their loud shout echoed very loudly and freaked them all out a little bit. Well, all of them except Pinkie that is.

"Ooh… that was a big echo!" she exclaimed "ECHO!"

Pinkie's cry echoes a bit as well, but not as much as the kid's.

    "Aw…" The pink said, disappointed.

    "Something's not right…" Tommy mused.

"What do you mean?" Marry asked him, curiously.

"Listen." Tommy told them. They all listened carefully and slowly felt and heard a rumbling noise growing and growing all around them.

"Oh… that's not good." Paco stated.

Then just after he said that, cracks appeared in the icy ground and started to grow bigger and wider as they made their way towards them.

    "Oh snap!" Tommy cried.

"Everypony run!" Twilight yelled as they all began to dash away with the cracks following them close behind and as they did so the earth slowly crumbled away into a deep and dark abyss. As they ran away from the crumbling Earth behind them, both groups screamed at the top of their lungs and ran, and flew, as fast as they could, barely acknowledging the cold at all.

"Oh my… oh my… oh my!" Fluttershy

"Man! For a bunch of crumbling rock it sure is persistent!" Paco yelled.

"Just keeping running!" Tommy told him.

"Yeah! Run! Run like you've never ran before!" Felix added.

"Says the guy flying on Pegasus!" Paco pointed out.

"Just run you fool!" Edwin stated, stressed.

"And if your already running… run faster!" Pinkie Pie added.

"Twilight! I think I can see the Empire from here!" Rainbow called out, as she vague saw several crystal's in the distance. "Do you think you can teleport us the rest of the way?"

"I… think so! I've tried teleporting this big a group!" Twilight said.

    "Just do it!" Mary pleaded.

    "Please!" Rarity begged.

"Come on Twi, you can do it!" Applejack told her.

"Ok… I'll try!" Twilight Sparkle nodded. "Just hope the weather doesn't interfere like last time…"

"Go for it, Twilight!" Rainbow Dash cheered.

"Right!" Twilight Sparkle declared as she began to charge up her magic. Everypony around her then became surrounded by her magical veil as the crumbling earth neared their heels, then in a bright flash they all disappeared and the land they were all on crumbled away but stopped as soon as they all left.

The six ponies and the six human all fell a short distance from the sky to the ground and land all around a grassy and surprising warm area.

"Are we still alive?" Tommy wondered.

"Well… we're still breathing so… yes. I would believe so." Edwin replied.

Paco then stood up. "So… we're alive and your still here…" he said. "Well that almost cheers me up."

"Nice to see you too…" Edwin muttered, sarcastically.

Everypony else then began to sit up and rub their sore head as the disorientation began to wear off.

"Is everypony alright?" Twilight Sparkle asked. "That was a pretty big jump we just took."

"Yeah, we're good Twi." Applejack confirmed.

    "I think so…" Fluttershy nodded.

Rainbow then flew up. "I'm good!" he said.

Pinkie then hopped high into the air. "I'm great!" she exclaimed.

    "As am I." Rarity nodded.

"We're good too, not that any of you asked…" Felix muttered.

"Boy… that sure was something…" Tommy remarked as he stood up.

"No kidding…" Mary agreed. "So… where are we?"

"I'm not sure…" Twilight said a little groggy.

Rainbow Dash looked around and spotted something that made her eyes widen. "Uh… I think I do…" she said.

"Where?" Felix asked before Rainbow Dash moved his head toward what she was staring at. He gasped when he saw it, as did everypony else when they turned to face it as well. They appeared to be on a grassy and warm surface and what was in front of them appeared to be a giant crystal like structure with little crystal houses and buildings, the biggest one looked like some kind of castle. Everypony was in awe.

    "Is that…" Fluttershy began.

"Yes! The Crystal Empire…" Twilight Sparkle said relieved.

"Oh man, this is off the hook!" Paco remarked. "You believe this? We found it!"

    "Unbelievable…" Mary breathed.

    "We're finally here…" Edwin added.

"This is amazing!" Darla yelled with a joy.

"I know, right!?" Pinkie Pie cried, equally excited.

"Sure is something ain't it?" Applejack remarked to Tommy.

    "Yeah… sure is." Tommy agreed.

"Well we'd better get moving, the secret to getting you all home lays just in there." Twilight stated. "So let's go!"

Everypony cheered as they began to race each other towards the crystal like castle up ahead of them.

    15. Cracking a Crystal

    Chapter 15

As soon as they her entered the city, however, their eyes were immediately blinded by all sorts of bright lights coming from many different angles at once.

"Oh! Wow that is bright!" Mary exclaimed as she still could barely see anything. "Is it always this bright here during the day?!"

    "Pretty much!" Rainbow Dash said.,

When their eyes finally got use to all the bright light, what she saw baffled them at first but finally amazed and astonished all of the kids. Before them they saw the glittering empire itself and passed multiple crystal like structures and buildings on their way in. They also saw multiple crystal ponies, much to the kid's amazement as they stared at everything around them in awe.

    "Wow…!" Tommy breathed.

    "Amazing!" Mary remarked.

"This empire is magnificent!" Edwin proclaimed.

"Yeah, pretty awesome, right?" Rainbow Dash said. "And Twilight's brother and sister-in-law run the whole place!"

"Cool!" Darla said in awe as she gazed at her reflection on all the shiny crystals.

"Yeah, and their most prized possession; the crystal heart!" Applejack added.

The kids turn and gasp when they saw it. Lying just several yards beyond the steps to the castle doors she just came from, was the Crystal Heart, nestled between a crystal stalactite and stalagmite sprouting out from the outer castle ceiling and floor respectively, as the Heart constantly spun while generating a shield over the Crystal Empire made from the light and love that is housed within all of its Crystal Pony inhabitants. It almost had a hypnotic trance over the kids as they gathered around it.

    "Cool!" They all said.

    "So is this…" Tommy began.

"That's right, the Crystal Heart." Twilight Sparkle confirmed. "My assistant Spike was actually the one to bring it here."

"Boy, he must be really liked here." Felix remarked.

"Sort of… well he wasn't exactly invited one time…" Fluttershy admitted.

"Dang… that's pretty cold of you guys." Paco stated. "Leaving him behind like that. Even I wouldn't do that."

"Hey, it's not our fault Princess Cadence didn't invite him! And if we could we would!" Rainbow Dash defended.

"Speaking of which… where is Cadence and Shining Armor?" Rarity wondered.

"I don't know… I'm sure there around here somewhere." Twilight said, looking around.

    "Twily!"

They all turn and see a blue maned unicorn stallion and a pink alicorn female approaching them with big smiles. Twilight recognized them.

"Shining Armor! Cadence!" she said, happily as she rushed over to them.

"Twily?" The kids asked the others in a deadpan tone. They could only shrug in response. Twilight hugged her older brother tightly.

"Good to see ya, sis." Shining Armor said.

"Good to see you too." Twilight smiled. She then turned to Cadence. "Oh hi Cadence!"

"Twilight!" Cadence said, smiling also. They also hugged and performed their greeting when Twilight was only a filly.

    "Sunshine, Sunshine

    Ladybugs awake,

    Clap your hooves

    And do a little shake."

They giggled afterwards while the kids just stared at them blankly.

    "Wow…" Felix remarked.

"That's gonna get old…" Mary muttered.

"I think it just did." Paco added.

"Tell me about it." Rainbow Dash said.

"So, Twilight, are you gonna introduce us to your… little friends here?" Shining Armor asked, gesturing to the kids who frown at his little comment.

"Oh, right! This is Tommy, Mary, Felix, Paco, Edwin and Darla." Twilight introduced them. "They're from the other world behind the mirror."

"The other world?" Cadence repeated, surprised. "I thought the portal was sealed."

"Well apparently they found another doorway here and we need to them back as soon as possible!" Twilight Sparkle said.

    "Why?" Shining inquired.

"Well…" His younger sister began before they heard a loud noise behind them. They all turn and see a far off piece of land rumble before dropping into seemingly nothingness. Everypony watching was stunned.

    "Uh… that's why." Paco answered.

"You see if we don't get home soon, the unbalanced energy we brought with us will cause this world to break apart." Edwin explained.

"Trust us, we've seen it happen." Mary added.

"It already destroyed Ponyville and Cloudsdale!" Rainbow exclaimed.

    "And our train!" Darla stated.

"Yeah… we had to walk all the way here… in the snow…" Felix said, sourly.

"But we're ok now!" Tommy assured them.

    "Well that's good!" Cadence smiled.

"Yeah… can't say the same for Ponyville though…" Paco stated.

    "Ponyville?" Shining Armor echoed.

"Yeah… the whole place has been destroyed…" Mary said, solemnly.

"Oh no…" Cadence breathed horrified, as Twilight and her friends all lowered their heads sadly.

"And it's all our fault… Rainbow was right…" Felix added, feeling sad also.

"Listen kid… I only said that because my home was destroyed… I didn't mean to blame it on you." Rainbow Dash told him.

"Rainbow's been known to go off every once and a while, don't hold it against her." Applejack said to the kids.

"Yeah… guess we all have our moments..." Rainbow shrugged.

"You definitely had one back there." Applejack smirked.

    "Don't help." Rainbow frowned.

"So what can we do to help, Twilight?" Cadence asked.

"Well… if we can combined the energies of the crystal heart with our elements, we can create a portal that should send them all home!" Twilight explained.

"Think that'll work?" Shining Armor inquired.

"It's the only plan we've got…" she confessed. "So we don't have any other choice…"

"Then let's get to work." Cadence stated, determined.

"Cool! Let's grab it!" Paco declared as he rushed over to the Crystal Heart.

"Paco, don't!" Mary cried as she and the other attempted to stop him but ended up all grabbing at the same time. Once they touched it, something odd began to happen. The crystal heart began to crackle with red electricity.

"Uh… is that suppose to happen?" Paco wondered.

"Based on what I heard… no." Edwin stated.

"What's going on?" Twilight asked, worriedly.

"I don't know! It's never done this before!" Cadence exclaimed.

"Hey, you kids! Get away from that! Now!" Shining ordered them.

"We can't! We're stuck!" Tommy cried as the crystal heart continued to shake and the sky slowly became blood red before a bolt of red lightning shot out from the crystal and went straight for the sky. Once it hit a black portal showing the very depths of space was shown in the sky.

    Pinkie screamed. "What's going on?"

    "Twilight…?" Applejack asked, hopefully.

"It's… it's some kind of wormhole… a wormhole to space!" Twilight Sparkle proclaimed as a strong wind began to try and suck up everything and everypony around up into it. "Hang on!"

"Easier said than done sis!" Shining Armor cried.

"Oh no…" Cadence despaired as the wormhole continued to try and suck everything and everypony up, and eventually it managed to pull out some of the crystal houses that were stuck in the ground sent them zooming up into space. "It won't stop…"

    "What!?" Rainbow questioned.

"It won't stop now… not until everything and everypony is sucked up into oblivion." Princess Cadence stated.

"Is there a way to close it?" Fluttershy inquired, panicky.

"No. I don't think there is. This is an endgame." Cadence sighed, defeated. "This the end."

The kids all began exchanged looks of horror and guilt as the wormhole continued to suck up most of the Empire like a large vacuum cleaner.

"What have we done?" Tommy whispered.

    16. We Believe in Magic

    Chapter 16

Just like in Ponyville, all the Crystal Ponies came rushing out of their house just before the wormhole sucked it up into the sky and continued to cause their home to crack up like a giant piece of glass.

They all screamed and ran around in horror while the girls, their rulers and the six humans that unintentionally caused it stood there frozen in shock and horror.

"This is super-duper bad!" Darla exclaimed.

"I hate to say it, but I have to agree with the kid on this one!" Paco remarked, looking just as scared as the others were.

    "Tommy… is this…" Mary began.

"No! It's not over! We can still fix this!" Tommy said.

    "How!?" Felix exclaimed.

"Twilight said that this thing can project positive feelings like happiness and love, so maybe if we all think of the happiest moment that ever happened to us, something will happen!" Tommy said.

"Think that will really work?" Paco inquired.

"From my calculations it seems that we do not have much choice in the matter." Edwin stated.

"Then let's do it! Concentrate everyone! Concentrate hard!" Mary told them all. They all nod and began to do so.

Red sparks fly as each child began to concentrate and think of a positive memory, everypony that was watching each saw a ring of energy circling their feet. It spread outward slightly while the Crystal Heart's pure power surged through their bodies, snapping them stiff as boards and outlining them in white light.

The ponies all saw this and stare at the kids in shock as this process continued to affect them.

"What's going on?" Rainbow Dash questioned, loudly. "What's happening to them?"

"I don't know!" Twilight Sparkle cried.

"It's the Crystal Heart! They're channelling all their positive emotions into it!" Princess Cadance realized. "They're trying to close the rift!"

"Could that actually work?" Shining Armor asked.

"I don't know… it's never been used like that before." Princess Cadance admitted. "But it's worth a shot. Otherwise…"

"Otherwise all of Equestria will be sucked up!" Rarity proclaimed.

    "Oh no…!" Fluttershy gasped.

"Come on… come on…" Tommy repeated as he and the others continued to channel their positive energy into the Crystal, which made it glow brighter and brighter.

"I think it's working!" Felix cried.

    "What's going on!?" Paco hollered.

Suddenly the crystal heart shot a beam of white light at the dark hole and slammed into it. It continued to pulsate and divert its energies towards it and as it did so the intense winds began to slow down around them.

    "Hey… what's happening?" Rainbow asked.

"It's working! They're closing it!" Twilight Sparkle realized.

    "Amazing!" Fluttershy said.

"Awesome!" Pinkie added. "We're not gonna die!"

"Oh, thank heavens!" Rarity expressed, wiping her brow.

"Let's all not count are chickens just yet, and hope these kids can do this!" Rainbow Dash told them, Fluttershy nodded in agreement.

"That's it… just a little more…" Tommy said as the portal continued to shrink slowly.

"Ugh… it's not enough! It's not enough power!" Mary cried.

"Ok… anybody can help us now!" Felix added.

"Quick! Everypony! Grab the crystal heart and project your own thoughts and feelings into it! Now!" Twilight cried.

"You got it!" They all nodded as they all raced over to the Crystal Heart. They all surrounded it and the kids and put their hooves forward one by one.

"Out of the way kids, we got a world to save!" Rainbow Dash said as she put her hoof forward. She was then surprised when Darla grabbed her other hoof and smiled.

"Thank you," she said, which made RD smile in response.

"Ok, everypony pour it in!" The blue Pegasus yelled as their bodies also glowed with a colorful aura which slowly began to get sucked into the heart which strengthened the beam it was shooting towards the black hole.

    "It's working!" Cadance cried.

"That's it… just a little more…" Twilight Sparkle said, slowly.

The hole in the sky began to shrink even more until finally it became a little blip in the sky that eventually vanished, causing everything and everypony it was sucking up to quickly drop and crash into the ground below. Ponies braced themselves and took cover as several large objects hit the ground hard and fast, crushing themselves to pieces, but when it was all over they all began to look quite relieved, just like the ones who were still holding it. They then gasp in surprise when they are finally able to free themselves from the grip of the Crystal Heart, which continued to spin I place

"So… is it over?" Paco asked.

"Yeah… I think it is!" Edwin realized.

    "It's over… It's over!" Tommy declared.

    "Yes!" Felix cheered.

    "Wha-hoo!" Marry cheered.

    "Not quite."

The kids all turn towards the Princess of Love, who was the one who spoke up, looking surprised and confused.

"What do you mean 'not quite'?" Paco asked. "The giant black hole has just been clogged up, what else is wrong?"

"Well… there's that." Cadance stated, gesturing to up head of them. They all looked up ahead and their eyes instantly widen when they see the rapidly approaching crack in the earth heading their way.

    "Oh…" Paco spat out.

"Crud! The planet is still set to blow up!" Felix realized.

"And thanks to that Black Hole we may have just sped up the countdown…" Edwin deduced.

    "Oops…" Darla squeaked.

"So how much time do we have now?" Mary asked, in a panicked tone.

"Um… two hours." Twilight said, fearfully. Paco then let out a high pitched, girlish scream.

    "Stop screaming!" Rainbow cried.

"Hey, she's screaming!" Paco pointed out, gesturing to the now screaming Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy! Stop screaming like that kid!" Rainbow told her, annoyed.

    "Sorry…" she said.

"Oh… what are we gonna do!?" Darla squealed.

"What we came her to do!" Twilight declared. She turned to her friends. "Girls! Get your elements ready!"

"Right!" They cried as Twilight levitated their necklaces over to them and put on her crown.

"Ok, let's do this guys!" Twilight Sparkle said.

"Right!" They all cried, as they positioned themselves around the Crystal Heart and prepared to combined it's magic with the magic of their elements.

"Wait till you see this kids! It's super, duper cool!" Pinkie Pie told them, excitedly.

"Great…" Paco said, a bit nervously.

"Ok, everyone on my mark! Three… two… one… GO!" Twilight cried as their elements glowed brightly and caused each of them to float into the air, much to the amazement of the children.

"Whoa! Now this is what I call a light show!" Felix remarked.

"Yeah, it is super, duper cool!" Darla added.

"But will it work? That is the question." Edwin said.

    "Let's hope." Tommy stated.

    "Exactly." Mary nodded.

The elements then began to fire little beams of energy that then connected to the glowing and still spinning Crystal Heart, causes it glow brightly and flashed a light at them that nearly blinded the kids.

    "Gah! That's bright!" Paco grimaced.

    "Is it working?" Darla questioned.

    "We don't know… I think so…" Cadance said.

"It better." Shining stated. "We're running out of time as it is…"

    "Yes… I know." Cadance nodded.

The light from the Crystal Heart then created a little hole out of nowhere, it was like the wormhole from before only much more stable and small looking.

"Hey! It is working!" Darla realized.

"Yeah!" Tommy said, his eyes widening with joy. "We're gonna be able to go home!"

"Hold on everyone." Edwin told them. "Something isn't right…"

"What? What do you mean?" Mary asked her older adopted brother, confused.

Just then, the portal in front of them began to sparkle and crack for some reason, it then slowly became smaller and smaller.

"Is that supposed to happen?" Paco questioned as the portal began to stretch and twist now, everypony else stared at it in fear and confused.

    "Oh no…" Cadance breathed.

"What?" Shining Armor asked. "What's wrong?"

"The portal… it's unstable!" Cadance realized.

    "Unstable? How?" Shining questioned, surprised.

"It's not balanced! The energy is not balanced!" Twilight cried. "We need more chaos energy into order to keep it stable!"

    "Chaos energy?" Tommy echoed.

"Of course, Order and Chaos need to be balanced for the universe to run smoothly." Edwin realized. "It what keeps everything in harmony."

"So we need something chaotic to keep the portal balanced?" Mary questioned.

    "Correct." Edwin corrected.

"Well what's something chaotic?" Darla wondered. Then it hit Tommy like a snowball to the face.

"I got it! Us!" Tommy cried.

    "What?" Paco asked, confused.

"Us! We're chaotic objects in this world! Hence why everything is breaking apart!" Tommy pointed out.

"So if we can use the chaotic energies in ourselves…" Felix began.

"It should balance and stabilize the portal!" Edwin finished. "Brilliant!"

"Alright, let's get over there and tell the others!" Tommy told them as they began to rush over to Twi and the others, who were still emitting waves of beams of energy from their elements, before Cadance or Armor could stop them.

"No, kids, wait!" Cadance cried out.

Tommy then ran up to Twilight. "Twilight! We know a way to stabilize the portal!" he said, loudly.

Twilight, groaned, the constant energy flow was beginning to strain her but she was able to turn her head to Tommy. "You do…?" she asked.

"Yes, we need to harness the chaos energy inside us and use it on the portal but we need a method for doing so." Edwin added.

"That… that might actually work!" Twilight realized.

    "There's doubt?' Paco asked.

"Well… you need to say a spell word to really do something like that…" The unicorn told them. "Any kind of word will do, just as long as it is magical…"

"So we just need a magic word?" Tommy echoed. He turned to the others. "Anyone know any magic words besides 'please' and 'thank you'?"

The kids all begin to think and ponder what they should say, but so far none of them had anything. Of course, until Paco finally snapped his fingers.

"I got it!" he cried as he began to whisper the magic word into each of their ears.

    "Ooh! That'll work!" Tommy smiled.

    "It better." Edwin voiced.

"Ok, let's do it!" Felix said as he and the others began to make their way to the pony gang as fast as they could, course with his crutches it was a bit slower for Felix but he manages just fine. Eventually they managed to stand close to each of the Mane Six.

"So… you thought of a word?" Twilight asked, her voice now sounded like she was becoming exhausted.

    "Oh yeah!" Paco nodded.

"Then get ready to say it! Now!" Applejack told them, loudly.

"Remember guys, in the world friendship is magic, which mean we also have magic, just believe!" Tommy told them all.

    "I believe!" Mary cried.

    "I believe!" Paco added.

    "I believe!" Darla yelled.

    "I too believe!" Edwin nodded.

    "I believe!" Felix smiled.

"And I believe!" Tommy finished as they all joined hands; black sparks fly when each contact was made, and a ring of energy circled their feet. It spread outward slightly while what appeared to be chaotic energy surged through their bodies

"WE BELIVE IN MAGIC! SHAZAM!" They all screamed out.

A giant blast of what appeared to be chaotic magic then blasted the portal in front of them, intertwining with the harmonious magic of the elements of harmony. A circle of white light opened up and then tuned black before creating a large flash of light just before the crumbling ground could reached them. The light blinded them all and everything went white.

    17. Goodbye

    Chapter 17

They were soon able to open their eyes and when they did they noticed that the portal had now stabilized completely and the ground had ceased crumbling all together, as if it was placed on pause.

"So… did it work?" Paco finally asked.

"Yes… I think it did!" Edwin realized.

"It worked? It worked!" Pinkie cheered.

Everypony then started cheering and jumping for joy, relived and excited that they had finally succeeded and that the crisis had been averted. There was a lot of hugging and nuzzling and even tough ones like Rainbow and Paco hugged before realizing what they are doing and backing away blushing embarrassed.

"You guys did it!" Cadance beamed.

"Way to go, sis." Shining added. "All of you. If it weren't for all of you the Empire would have been destroyed."

"Not just the empire, but the whole world too!" Cadance added.

"Aw, it was nothing…" Twilight said, blushing embarrassed.

"Yeah, it's what we do." Rainbow Dash added, proudly.

"But the land… it's still damaged…" Cadance observed, looking at all the destroyed buildings and crystals.

    "Oh yeah… that's a bummer…" Paco remarked.

"So how do we fix it?" Darla questioned.

"By getting you all back home." Twilight stated.

    "What?" Tommy asked, surprised.

"Ah yes, the Princess did say that in order to undo all the damage we must return to our world." Edwin remembered.

    Right now?" Felix asked.

"Well, no time like the present." Mary said.

"Yeah… I guess you're right." Darla said, sadly.

They all stepped uneasily toward the portal, but the kids all stopped to look back at the pony gang pleadingly.

"Please, is this really goodbye?" Mary asked. There was no answer. "Won't we ever see you all again?"

"That is not for me to say… but if we are fated to me again, we will." Twilight assured him.

"Aw… and I didn't even have time to throw you a welcome or a goodbye party…" Pinkie said, sadly.

"I'm sure it would have been great, Miss Pinkie." Tommy smiled.

    "Yeah…" Darla agreed, sadly.

"Can't believe I'm saying this but… I'm gonna miss you crazy ponies." Paco admitted.

    "Yeah, me too." Felix added.

"Yes, you were indeed an interesting group to be with." Edwin nodded.

"The best." Mary nodded. Everypony smiled at them, fondly.

"The same goes for all of you and thank you for your help." Twilight told them.

"You're welcome but… is this really the end? Will we ever see you guys again?" Tommy asked. With a sad face, Twilight walked over to them to look them in the eye, particularly Tommy.

"I'm sorry everypony, there isn't time, you have to go…" Twilight told them. "But… I hope we do see each other again… someday"

"Goodbye children, We'll miss you." Fluttershy smiled, tenderly.

"BYE KIDS!" Pinkie exclaimed as she waved at them with tears flowing down her face.

"Yeah… see ya, kids." Rainbow muttered, slowly and sadly.

"Take care, young'uns" Applejack said, tipping her hat to them.

"Farewell, children, until we meet again" Rarity added with a sweet smile. Shining and Cadance nodded in agreement and smiled.

"Ok… goodbye…" Tommy said to Twilight teary eyed while she kissed his forehead and bumped her forehead against his before they hugged, along with the other kids as well.

Twilight then took a few steps back to join the rest of the pony crew, the last thing the kids see as they moved into the black gateway. It closed behind them once they all walked through and winked out in a flash.

Author's Note: Sorry this one is so short, it's just that it's one chapter away from being done and I'd like to finish it soon, hope none of you are upset by this.

    18. Epilogue

    Chapter 18

Not too long after they entered the vortex the kids arrived right back where they started and due to the inexact nature of wormholes they were placed their around the time they left, so luckily nobody noticed that they were missing. Now back in their world, the kids made a pact to keep what happened to them to themselves before buying the magic mirror that had given them so much trouble in the first place.

It only took them a little while before they finally got back home with the mirror and once they covered it up with a blanket, they all got their adopted mother into the living room where it was set and then pulled the blanket off once she entered the room.

"Happy Birthday, Mom!" The kids all said at once, happily.

"Oh, thank you kids! I know this must have taken you all a lot of work to get but I am so very grateful to you all." Mrs. Dabney said.

"It was our pleasure, Mom." Mary smiled, which mad her smile as well.

    "Totally." Paco smirked.

"So… how did you afford it?" Mrs. Dabney asked. "And how'd you know I needed a new mirror?"

"It was merely a simple matter of combining all the money we have earned over the week." Edwin explained, simply.

"Plus… it just spoke to us in a way." Mary shrugged with a knowing grin.

"Yeah, that's one way of putting it…" Felix said, smirking. Their mother looked at them confused but shrugged it off.

"Well I'm happy you got it and I'm glad to see all six of you getting along better than ever now." Mrs. Dabney expressed.

"Thanks! We love you mommy!" Darla smiled as she hugged her mother, along with everybody else. Mrs. Dabney smiled and hugged them all back.

"Oh… I love you kids too," she smiled. "Now what do you say we have some cake now?"

    "Yeah!" The kids all cheered.

"Hey, mind if I wash my hands first." Tommy asked.

"Go right ahead, sweetie." Mrs. Dabney nodded. "And be sure to get under your nails, you've probably been mucking about in the dirt all day."

"Yes ma'am!" Toby nodded, smiling as he began to make his way to the bathroom. Felix noticed a thoughtful look on Tommy's face and began to follow him.

Meanwhile, inside the bathroom, Tommy was staring at the mirror, still with a thoughtful look on his face, so much so that he was almost oblivious to everything around him until someone finally spoke up.

    "Uh… Tommy?"

Tommy gasped and turned to see that it was just his adopted older brother, Felix.

"Oh… hey Felix." Tommy said, as his adopted brother approached him and noticed his sad face.

    "Crazy day, huh?" Felix remarked.

"The craziest." Tommy agreed. "We met a bunch of talking and colorful pony girls…"

"And nearly destroyed their world in the process…" Felix added.

"Oh yeah…" Tommy nodded. "On the plus side, we got to ride in a train."

"We crashed it." Felix pointed out, deadpan.

"Right…" Tommy remembered. "Still it was fun."

"Yeah, it was…" Felix agreed. "I wonder how they're doing right now?"

"Probably helping all those ponies, they're nice like that." Tommy said.

"Think that's the last we'll ever see of them?" Felix wondered.

Tommy looked to the side and noticed the mirror shimmering a bit and a smile appeared on his face. "I'm sure we'll meet again."

    Felix smiled also. "Yeah… same."

The two continued to gaze at the special mirror portal that brought them all to Equestria and watched at it continued to shimmer and shine, indicating there was still a bit of magic inside it.

Elsewhere, back in Equestria all the damage the negative energy caused by the children's presence had been completely erased. Everypony's homes were back where they belonged, the cities and towns were no longer in ruins and even the train the kids 'crashed' was continuing to move down the long tracks.

In the town of Ponyville, which had also been restored to its pride and glory, the heroes of the town; Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Rainbow were all trotting through town whilst the sun shined beautifully over their heads and the townspeople got back to their everyday lives with big smiles on their faces.

"Wow, I can't believe everything went back to normal so fast! Isn't life wonderful?" Twilight marveled.

"It sure is!" Applejack agreed. "And despite all the chaotic stuff it brought, this experience allowed us to make a bunch of few and rather strange friends."

Rainbow flew closer to them. "Yeah, those kids were alright," she admitted. "Slightly annoying… but still alright."

"I liked them! They were funny!" Pinkie smiled.

    "And kind." Fluttershy added, sweetly.

"And also very generous." Rarity said. "Not mention very fashionably forward."

"Yeah, they were a good bunch of kids, too bad we had to say good bye though…" Applejack said, sadly.

"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll meet again someday." Twilight stated.

"What makes you think that, Twi?" The farm pony asked, curiously.

"I don't know…" Twilight Sparkle smiled as she looked at a glimmering, mirror like reflection in the lake nearby. "It's just a… feeling."

The girls all smiled as a brilliant rainbow appeared over their newly restored home while the sun shined brightly overhead. Yes sir, it was a beautiful day, their world was back to normal and the future was looking brighter than ever. But will the human world and Equestria ever interact again? Only time will tell.
