Luna awakened. The sun was beaming through her windows. "Darn the sun," she called out. Luckily, her mother woke up Tia early, but she expected Luna to be up around noon. "Good thing too," she said, "I need sleep if I'm going to stay up late to raise the moon!" She wrapped a blanket around her, and hopped on her bed for a nap. Tia pushed open the door. "Get up, lazy head!" She hated Luna sleeping in. "You have to get up bright and early, JUST LIKE ME!" Luna covered her ears with her pillows. Maybe if I just ignore her, she'll go away, Luna thought. Tia didn't go away though. "I said, GET UP!" Tia squirted her with her juice-box. Luna gasped and ducked under the covers, but the juice bled through the sheets, and her hooves were soaked. "Tia!" Luna yelled, "Stay OUT of my room! Mama wants me to sleep till noon!" But Tia didn't listen, she literally dragged Luna out of bed. "I don't care what mother says," she said hatefully, "you must get up at the proper time, now come to breakfast." Luna sighed. Tia always got her way.

They went to breakfast.

"There you are, Tia!" Their mother said, "Oh! And, um, LUNA too!" She sulked. "I thought you were to sleep in!" Luna gave Tia a little shove, and Tia pushed her down. "Girls!" Their mom said, pounding her hooves on the hard wood table, "Let's eat in PEACE." Luna finally was able to stand up. Her sister was already gobbling down her toast. "Pig," Luna muttered. No one heard her. Tia finished early. She raced upstairs to get dressed.

Tia put on a gemstone necklace that lit up in pure daylight. She also slipped on a hot pink flank skirt, which covered your cutie mark. "I hate my freaking stupid cutie mark. I mean, who wants a darn picture of a sun on you're butt?" She growled.

Luna finished breakfast.

Upstairs, Luna put on her indigo crown, and she slipped a leather moon necklace around her neck. She combed her mane till it blew left in the wind. "Perfect," she mouthed as she brushed her teeth, carefully around her braces, which she hated. Her cutie mark was a dark blue paint splatter with a white moon in the center. Very beautiful, it was. Her sister envied her mark, though. Suddenly, a black portal opened up behind her, it swirled, waiting for her to step through. Luna stood there. She dropped her toothbrush, but she picked up a hoof and slowly inserted it into the portal..

Then, she inserted the next, then the next, and the next. Soon, her whole body was in. It closed behind her, and she couldn't escape the portal now...
