Long ago in the far South of Equestria there existed a beautiful kingdom in the waters of Oceania. This kingdom was in habited by creatures known as seaponies. They lived in peace and harmony for generations until a power magic over threw the kingdom, making a never stopping whirlpool; causing the seaponies to flee their homes under the sea and seek homes elsewhere.

The Princess, who ruled over the kingdom grieved in sorrows as her fellow subjects have abandoned her in the face of danger. She was determined to stop this madness by using her powers to put an end to the evil whirlpool but this magic was too powerful for her to stop. The current swept her away her kingdom, never being heard from again.

Princess Celestia, the alicorn princess of the sun, was signing some papers on her throne when one of her royal guards barged into the throne room. By the look in the guard's eyes something extremely important must have come up for him to come in like this.

"What seems to be the problem?" She asked.

"You're Highness. There was something found in the north of the Crystal Empire that you might want to see," the guard told her.

Princess Celestia became worried as she unsure of what this guard was talking about. She got into the carriage and the Pegasus guards flew her to the far north, to the Crystal Empire. The princess of the sun was greeted by Princess Cadence, the alicorn princess of love and light and her husband, Shining Armour; who is the captain of the royal guard.

"What is so important that I had to come here for?" Princess Celestia asked.

"You may want to follow me, Sister," Princess Cadence suggested.

"Do you remember the old pony tale about the Kingdom of Oceania?" Cadence referred back.

Princess Celestia was guided into the Crystal Castle. She thought for a moment and couldn't remember anything, though her memory was soon brought forth when they came across a giant block of ice with something inside of it. Celestia approached it with her mouth opened in awe. She took a closer look as she saw a figure of a creature with the bottom half of a fish and the top half of a unicorn.

"This can't be possible. The legendary Sea Princess is here," Celestia exclaimed.

"The only question is, is she still alive?" Princess Cadence asked.

"There's only one way to find out," the sun princess replied.

The two princesses combined their magical powers to melt the solid ice around the mysterious mare of the sea. The lifeless body collapsed onto the floor. Princess Celestia walked closer to the mare and watched her body transform into a regular unicorn. She scanned the body then saw the unicorn's chest move up and down.

"Breathing! She's breathing! Someone come get her and take her Canterlot immediately!" Princess Celestia ordered.

Shining Armour had the guards to carefully take this sleeping Princess to the carriage and flew off with her. Princess Celestia flew behind the carriage, with Pegasus guards at her sides. Celestia was worried about this pony's safety. There was no telling what state she'll in after being sealed away for about two thousand years and there is no telling what dangers could be after her.

Princess Celestia landed at the doors of her castle and barged in. Princess Luna, the alicorn princess of the moon, found her older sister pasting around, seeming worried.

"Sister, what in Equestria is the matter?" Luna asked.

"No time to explain. I need an increase in security and I need to send out a letter to Twilight Sparkle. She and her pony friends may be needed when this mare wakes up," Princess Celestia panicked.

Princess Luna grimaced and walked away, not understanding what was going on. As she walked in the hallway she looked at the unicorn nurses running around the infirmary. She noticed a unicorn lying in bed, hooked up to I.V and an oxygen mask. Luna's heart ached as witness this aweful scene somehow feeling empathy for this poor creature lying in the bed. The princess of the moon just walked away feeling tears coming out of her eyes.
