Everyone, this is ANOTHER repost. Follows the same storyline. Although now, I'm thinking of making it into a part POV of somepony.

-Chapter 1: The Dream-

It was eight o'clock in the evening in the nice town of Ponyville. In one of the rooms of Sugarcube Corner, a pink pony was getting ready for bed.

Pinkie Pie took her toothbrush and her toothpaste from the bathroom sink. She squeezed some jellybean toothpaste on her pink toothbrush, and then she brushed her teeth.

After about three minutes, Pinkie Pie rinsed her mouth. She gargled some water in a glass placed at the side of the sink, then spit it out. After that, Pinkie Pie trotted out of the bathroom.

Pinkie Pie went across the hall to her bedroom. She put on her pajamas and slid in her bed. After a short moment, Pinkie Pie was already snoozing.

Pinkie Pie squinted her eyes. She opened them slowly and yawned. She stretched her forehooves and got up. She surveyed her surroundings carefully, and realized she was not in her bedroom anymore. Wherever she was, this place gave her a slight feeling of nostalgia.

Suddenly, it hit her. She knew this place! She didn't recognize it as first, but now she did!

It was the rock farm!

It was the very same place she had been raised as a filly. The place she used to call her home. The place she left almost ten years ago.

Out of a slight curiosity, she began to explore the place. She trotted up to the shed. It looked better than before now. Next, she went to the part where they 'farmed' the rocks. The fields E and B were expanded. The field A had more rocks than before. Lastly, she went by the hut she slept in ten years ago. The roof and the walls were replaced with a much stronger material. And it was also bigger than before.

But, to Pinkie Pie, despite of what she saw, she knew there was still something that didn't change. It was the atmosphere.

It was just the same like before, sad and gloomy.

Suddenly, Pinkie's ears caught a sound. A sound that sounded like a pony crying. Pinkie followed the sound back to the shed. Pinkie opened the door slowly, revealing a dark shed. Pinkie's hooves searched for the light switch. Then, she felt a button, so she pressed it. A light suddenly illuminated the room.

Pinkie scanned the shed, trying to find the source of the sound. Then, she saw, at the end of the large room, a pony with a baby pink coat and a fuchsia pink mane. The pony had her back to her, and thus, Pinkie couldn't see the pony's face.

Pinkie slowly approached them pony. The pony, who had sensed that someone was behind her, turned her head around.

Pinkie was shocked at what she saw. This pony looked just like her, except for the straight mane and tail. Although she didn't know when, she felt like she had seen this pony before.

Despite the nostalgia, Pinkie just grinned. "Yay! I have a lookalike! This calls for a party with extra pink streamers!" Pinkie screamed. The other pony just turned back again.

Pinkie asked, "What's wrong? Why're you crying?" The pony stared at her with a pair of baby blue eyes. Pinkie studied her eyes. They looked exactly like her own, except that pony's had a hint of sadness, hurt, envy, and gloom. A greater feeling of nostalgia overcame her.

"Why?! Why does it all have to be like this?! Why?!" The pony yelled, crying even harder. "What do you mean?" Pinkie asked. "Do you need a chimicherry or what?!" The pony's tears were uncontrollable now. "For ten years, I never had any freedom! It was always you, you, YOU! You got all the freedom! You had many friends! You were loved by all ponies! But, why?! Why you?! Why can't I be loved?! Why do ponies never accept the real me?! Just why?!" The pony yelled extremely loud. A strong wind started to blow into the shed. "I…want to be loved as well! I want to have friends! But, ponies never give me a chance! It's always you! ALWAYS! I even had to endure being locked up for ten years! While you…you…" the pony's voice faded away as the strong wind surrounded her. Pinkie Pie yelled, "What are you saying? And who the cupcake are you?" The pony stared at her again. She spoke, now very softly, "You don't know who I am? Well, I can't believe my other half would forget about me. My name is…" a bright light began to surround the pony as she said her three final words. "…Pinkamena Diane Pie."

Then, the light completely engulfed her. Pinkie Pie closed her eyes, for the light was so bright. After the light faded away, the other pony was gone. All that was left in her place was a white envelope. Pinkie picked it up. She stared at it for a full minute. Now, she knew who and where she had seen that pony. She was so foolish not to realize. It was herself from the past. Right before she had been known as Pinkie Pie, the eccentric party pony, she was known as Pinkamena Diane Pie, the sad and gloomy farmer of rocks, the second eldest of the Pie sisters.

Then, the world started to fade away.

Pinkie Pie bolted awake, nearly falling off her bed. She breathed heavily for a short period of time. She was relieved that she was still in her room. She decided to lie back down.

As she lay down on her pillow, she felt something under it. She lifted up her pillow to see what was under it. She knew it couldn't have been the tooth fairy, because she was 16 and she never lost a tooth.

Under her pillow, she saw a white envelope. The same one that was left by Pinkamena Diane Pie. She picked up the envelope and opened it. Inside there was a folded piece of paper. She took it, then unfolded it. She read it silently. Here's what it said:

Dear Pinkie Pie or whatever you call yourself,

I am Pinkamena Diane Pie, the second eldest of the Pie sisters, not to mention, your true self.

I just wish to know one thing. Why is it that ponies everywhere like you? Why can they not like me when I take your place? Why? I would really like to know why.

You left home ten years ago. I can't even explain how excited I was to make friends. But, I never got the chance. I was sealed inside you. And, very seldom, when I was present, nopony talked to me.

I can't take it anymore. I want to experience friendship as well. Don't you know that I have feelings too?

In three days, be prepared.

Very sincerely,
Pinkamena Diane Pie

Pinkie Pie was left staring at the letter for a short period of time. She could feel her pain. She couldn't even imagine not having her friends to hang out with. But, what did she mean by 'be prepared'? Be prepared for what?

Pinkie yawned. She rubbed her eyes. She'd solve thisn puzzle tomorrow. For now, she just put the letter on her bedside table and lay down on her bed again. After what seemed like four minutes, she fell into a blissful sleep.

Sorry about the slight personality changes. Sorry for wrong grammar and spelling. This is my first MLP fanfic after all. I hope you were satisfied with the first chapter.
