Rainbow Dash was flying through the skies of Ponyville, performing loops and barrel rolls. Why Rainbow was doing this is because tomorrow is the day she has been waiting for her whole entire life. Yesterday, Rainbow Dash has entered the Best Young Flyer Competition in Cloudsdale and has won using the almost impossible Sonic Rainboom while saving Rarity and the Wonderbolts. The grand prize was the opportunity to spend an entire day with the Equestria flying team, so Rainbow Dash wanted to be prepared, just in case the Wonderbolts want to go for a fly.

Rainbow Dash swerved around flower trees and ducked under fluffy white clouds. Other ponie looked up to see Rainbow zooming above them. She flew high into the sky until Ponyville was like the size of a button. "Ok, lets do this." Rainbow said to herself, then she dived down as fast as she could into Ponyville. As she was diving down, Rainbow felt heat around her head. "I can do this, I can do this!" Rainbow hyped herself, and in a matter of minutes, a rainbow exploded around her with a rainbow streaming behind her. She did it. She has performed a Sonic Rainboom for the third time, but with more confidence than ever.

Rainbow casually flew down to Ponyville, hungry for a snack. She landed safely and started trotting towards Sugarcube Corner. The one thing Rainbow likes to do after a fly was to enjoy a delicious cupcake, especially Pinkie Pie's. She soon reached Sugarcube corner and opened the front door with her hoof, making the little bell on the door send off a little jingle. Suddenly, a pink pony zoomed in front of her. "Hi Rainbow Dash! I saw you do a Sonic Rainboom up in the sky up there! It was soo AWESOME! You were like, zoom, and boom! And you even left a rainbow in the sky! Oh I LOVE rainbows! They are soo pretty like cupcakes! Would you like one? Its zappapple ones! Here, try one!" Blurted out Pinkie Pie, super fast, and then stuffed a zappapple cupcake in Rainbow Dash's mouth with her hoof. Rainbow chewed. "Thanks Pinkie!" Rainbow thanked with a cupcake-full mouth.

"Rainbow, Rainbow," Somepony said. Rainbow looked to the front door to see Fluttershy trot in. "I just saw the Wonderbolts leave from Cloudsdale and is heading towards us!" Fluttershy said meekly but excitedly. "REALLY?! Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, then she rushed out of Ponyville's bakery.
