Derpy Hooves was having a good day. Doctor was still at home when she woke up, so she had enough time to hug him and say goodbye before he left. Ditzy Doo hadn't given her too much trouble getting ready, so she had another good thing. She even had time to walk Ditzy to school before work. She then flew to the post office to receive her mail route and saddle bag. When she arrived, however, her boss was waiting for her. "Good morning Ms. Hooves. You will not be on route today. Mayor Mare asked me to send you along to her office." He said. "Will do!" She announced.

The grey pegasus flew over town, trying her best not to bump into anypony and nearly succeeding. She arrived at town hall and asked the frumpy looking secretary where the mayor's office was. The secretary quickly offered to escort her personally, and Derpy thought she heard her mummer under her breath, "Maybe this way she won't break anything." Derpy was offended, but she wasclumsy. Maybe this was better. The mayor opened her door. "Come in Ms. Hooves. Autumn Sky, you may return to your desk." The secretary quickly went away, seemingly afraid of disobeying her boss. Mayor said as soon as the door was closed "Please, take a seat." Derpy sat carefully, not wanting to break the pretty chair. Everything in the room was pretty, blue and tan, wood and velvet. She, with her shaggy mane and scrambled up eyes felt extremely out of place. "Ms. Hooves, I am not sure if you are aware, but I have received quite a few complaints lately." Confused, she asked "You want me to help sort them? Or deliver replies?" The tan pony sighed. "Ms. Hooves, they were about you." Tears welled up in her eyes "Am I doing something wrong?" "You see Ms. Hooves; you are, for lack of a better word, a clutz. Several ponies have come to me complaining of broken property and injuries caused by you." "I'm making it better! Fluttershy is teaching me to fly better and Rainbow Dash is helping me make less storms on accident!" The Mayor looked flustered at being argued with. "There is also the matter of your appearance. Your eyes, to be exact." Now Derpy felt like she was being poked fun at for no reason. Chants of Crazy eyes can't even fly! came back to her from school. She began crying in earnest. "My eyes have never done anything to anypony! Everyone hates them and says they're ugly, but they're not! The doctor says they work fine!" "Ms. Hooves, as you are aware, Princess Twilight Sparkle is currently residing in Ponyville, this is causing a steady stream of much esteemed visitors to our town, and we do not wish to give them the wrong impression of our town's otherwise perfect population!"

The Mayor was nearly frantic now, appearances were very important to her, and her town's was no less. She had to get rid of this eyesore! This was the best way she knew how. She drew herself up, and faced the sobbing pegasus. "I have decided the best way to uphold the town's appearance is to banish you. Effective immediately!" If possible, she sobbed harder "What about my family? My colt friend? My little sister? I'm all she has left!" She began to scream "No! I can't go! I Can't!" The mayor was no longer listening. She put her hoof down on the page button, calling her security. "Hello, I need some ponies to escort Ms. Hooves out of Ponyville. To the Pit."

AN/ This story is based off the rumors that Hasbro has cut Derpy. From here on all chapters will be in Ditzy Doo's point of view with occasional interludes into Derpy or Doctor Whooves's POV. Just to clear something up: Derpy is the caretaker of her little sister Ditzy Doo. Doctor Whooves is Derpy's boyfriend and lives with her. And…. This is my longest chapter on any of my stories! Expect them to get longer as I get the hang of things.
