Hello, this is my first fan fic, and I hope you enjoy it! BTW, here are some guidlines about the story.

    1. The entire story (all of the sagas) is planned to have around 175 chapters.(a.k.a. VERY LONG)

2.I've included some bonus sagas and no dbz movies will be mentioned

story will start right after dragonball and end after the cell saga

    4. Because of the added character, different events and plot twists will occur

    5. I'm only writing the scenes that include either of the 2 main characters or has to deal directly with either of these characters

    6. If you don't already know, this story was inspired by "My Little Dashie", which I don't own in any form. Speaking of which, I DO NOT OWN DRAGONBALL Z OR MY LITTLE PONY IN ANY WAY.

Now with that out of the way... enjoy!

He lives his life one step at a time. However, instead of wasting his life doing a job he never wanted to do or taking the free ride in his life, he basically goes off saving the world. As a devoted martial artist ever since he was a little boy, he's pretty much the greatest. He defeated multiple tyrants, not to mention an entire army, and saved the lives of millions. He was even offered to be god, but he didn't want that to be his future. On the contrary, he doesn't fight just for the glory of being a hero or by saving lives. He also does it to better himself not just as a warrior or a thinker, but also as a person.

This teen is now walking on the busy streets of West City. He doesn't live on the planet we know today. Even though it's called Earth and lies in the same type of solar system, its culture and geography are dramatically different. At this point of time, the planet holds one supercontinent, which has groups of islands near its coastline. Not only does the Earth have one continent, but it also has one unified country as well.

This country is related to the country we know as Japan today, but it holds many climates, cultures, and groups of people. Some of the people are even mutated animals that show the same intelligence as the humans that occupy it. The overall appearance relates to what we call a cartoon or an anime, to be more precise. The country is divided into four simple states; the North, South, East, and West. There are a few territories that scatter the globe. The states' main cities are named the same way their state is, and there are also other cities located at different parts of the country.

This teen lives in the west, with his newly wedded wife, Chi Chi, and they live in the countryside; very far away from civilization. They don't mind. After all, the husband can just fly to his destinations with ease. He does have a flying yellow cloud, Nimbus, that can take him anywhere he desired, but ever since he learned how to fly on his own, they didn't come into contact that often, even though they're still good friends.

This teen was in the city for some shopping that was requested by his wife. After he was done, he decided to take a short visit to see his friend, Bulma, whose dad owns the Capsule Corporation. Now he's just taking a last stroll around the city with shopping bags at hand. He still finds the futuristic city exciting after all the years he has known it. While there are a few cars with tires in the country, the city is well known for its hover cars that zip through the streets. The streets are crowded with people, signs, stores, and stop lights. A cacophony of sounds can be heard from every corner. Footsteps tap the ground while horns blaze and muttering of voices can be heard all around.

The teen was tall for his age. Even though it sounds weird to be 16 and married, nobody really knew his age. He doesn't even know his birthday. He wore the usual. An orange overall with a blue undershirt and logo on his right breast and back fits his style as a martial artist. This is topped off with a blue belt, a pair of blue wristbands and a pair of blue shoes, which were tied by a string of thick rope at the ankle. The feature that really stands him out is his hair. It's like nobody else's. Spikes of hair spring out from his scalp in multiple directions, with hair showing off its black color. His hair never changed ever since he was a baby, but that is Goku for you.

Goku thought about the usual when he wasn't mesmerized by the city, "I wonder what's for dinner tonight." His train of thought was cut off by a glimpse at a nearby clock tower. "4:00 already? Well I should better get going." He takes a look at his surroundings in order to spot a deserted area. He spots an ally way that seems to be completely hidden, so he goes off to that direction. He enters the area in a steady pace. "Well I should better fly off." Goku starts to sprint before he ascends into the air.

That's when he stops. He spots something across the dark ally that he didn't catch before. It was a box. It just sat their, near a dumpster can and a wall with no windows. It stood out to Goku for two main reasons. The first was that it wasn't damaged. The box seems to have been put there not too long ago. The other reason was that he sensed something in there or, to be corrected, someone. He senses a life force that's in the cardboard box. It was very small, but it was present.

Goku starts to descend towards the box, until he over shadowed it, and landed on the ground. He stares at it for a moment. It was closed, but there were noticeable air holes on the outer sides of the box. Goku thought about what could possibly be in there, so his curiosity got the best of him and he opened the top.

His heart skipped a beat, if not stopped. Every muscle in his body tensed up for a moment and his eyes widen while his jaw drops. Throughout the rest of his life, he can use no words to explain his reaction to what he saw.

It's a miniature horse; a pony if he remembered correctly. The pony showed off its vibrant color of its coat, powder blue, and has the most amazing hair he ever saw. It's the color of the rainbow. The frizzled mane shows its warm colors slanted in the front and cold colors slanted in the back, and its tail also expressed all of the colors. What really caught Goku off guard was its wing. It seems to spring out of its body, showing of its shiny blue feathers. He couldn't see the pony's eyes, since they were closed. It's sleeping at the moment, while it created soft snores that made it seem like it was purring.

After a while to take it all in, Goku makes a soft smile. It was the cutest thing he has ever seen. He moved his attention to the side of the box. This was because it had some black writing engraved in it. After he knelt down for a closer look, Goku managed to read, "彼女は良い家に取る" (take her to a good home). This raised many questions to him. So it's a she? Who put her here? Why here? Why couldn't they keep her? Why wouldn't they? Before he thought about these questions in more detail, he notices that he kicked the box a little bit by accident while standing back up. That's when she opens her eyes.

His heart stops for a second time. Her eyes were huge. The color of rose in them shines like rubies from the sunlight that entered the small gap between the two roofs. When she looks up, they stare back at the smaller onyx eyes that were from the bipedal creature in front of her. She started to look at him in curiosity before she shivers from a sudden breeze that entered the ally and starts to curl up.

It was March 16 today and the weather was windy and chilly this afternoon, so Goku understood why she would be cold. He knew he couldn't just stand there and let the filly freeze, so he put the bags aside and bent down. The pony started to show fear and she slides to the back of the box. She continues to squirm while she was lifted out of the box and into the arms of Goku. Overtime, she starts to calm down as the warmth of the teen's arms overtook her.

"It's ok," Goku whispers to the little filly, "There's no need to be afraid. I'll protect you." Those words seem to work as the pony completely stops and looks up at him. After a moment, she begins to smile at him, and he smiles back. "I'll have to take her back home," Goku thought to himself, "It would be for the best."

He knew that he couldn't hold her, hold the bags, and fly at the same time, so he decided to take a different approach. Tilting his head to the sky, Goku then yells, "NIMBUS!" The filly shuts her eyes from the sudden change of voice and then opens them to the sky. Just then, a yellow cloud starts to descend towards them and stops next to them. While the pony stares at the cloud and the cloud seems to be staring at her, Goku lifts the bags onto the cloud and then hops onto it with the filly in his arms. "Are you ready Nimbus?" Nimbus then nods at him and Goku responds, "Then let's go!" In a burst of speed, Nimbus flies off into the sky with its passengers on board.

After several minutes, the flying trio was soaring over the countryside with the city far behind them. The filly in Goku's arms is now asleep, and Goku was staring down at her. There was one question that he was thinking about for a few minutes now. "How am I going to explain this to Chi Chi?"

    2. Settling In

Hello again. I have couple of things to say before continuing the story.

    1. Sorry about those random squares in the first chapter before the term "take her to a good home". that was supposed to be Japanese, but there was a problem, so I'll stick with english.

    2. One of my reviews mentioned ideas about the mare 6. I will have them later in the story, but it will take a while, a.k.a. A LONG while.

With those out of the way, enjoy!

The sun is beginning to descend towards the west as it gives out rich colors of pink and orange in the sky. Vast grasslands below with few farmlands can be spotted as the Flying Nimbus soars rapidly in the air. Goku knew that it will be a short period of time before they arrive at their destination; home. They're not too far now.

The blue filly calmly sleeps on the teen's lap. Goku didn't understand how she can be so peaceful and not scared out of her mind, while being over a thousand feet in the air. Then again, she does have wings, so maybe she's destined to fly. Goku realizes, while thinking to himself, that she is a pegasus. At first, it was hard to believe it because he only heard of these creatures in legends and old stories. He remembers hearing about how they can fly to great heights or even stand on clouds. He even heard that they can manipulate the weather to make thunder, rain, or snow, and how they can move the clouds to any desirable place in the sky. Goku smiles to himself as he's reminded of these tales. Looking back down to the sleeping pony, Goku thinks in a delightful way, "That would be so cool!"

He tilts his head back upwards as he spots his house in the distance. It wasn't too fancy. The house is in the shape of a dome with a white, square fence covering the perimeter. A few trees scatter the area, since there is a forest not too far from there. There's a clothes rack in front of the house, and since it is covered with a variety of clothing, it seems that Chi Chi has done the laundry.

Nimbus arrives in front of the house and Goku jumps off with a soft landing. The filly in his arms wakes up from the sudden leap and looks at the house that sits in front of her. "Hey Nimbus," Goku says, "Do you want to come and see Chi Chi's reaction when she sees her?" Nimbus looks at the filly and then nods at Goku. "Alright then, here goes nothing."

He starts to walk. With Nimbus floating behind them and carrying the bags, Goku and the little filly find themselves right in front of the door. The trio stare at the door for a little bit before Goku finally has the courage to knock. "Chi Chi, I'm home!" he yells.

"Oh Goku!" a feminine voice responds through the door, "I was so worried about you! What caused you to stay out so late? Did you stop by Bulma's or something?"

"Ya, I also took a walk around the city. However…" Goku looks down at the filly, smiles, and then looks at the door and continues, "I think there is something you might want to see." Footsteps can be heard outside the wooden door as it seems to get louder.

"Let me guess, you caught a huge fish for dinner again."

Goku makes a small chuckle and replies, "Nope, but its way better than that."

The door swings open to reveal a woman in a blue overall with red stripes on her sides and collar. Her black hair is in a ball on top of her hair, which is kept there by a golden hair-tie. She also has the same colored eyes as Goku, but they were bigger. She looks over to her husband and says, "So what's the special thing-" and that's when she sees the pony and gasps. The filly tilts away from her by the sudden reaction that Chi Chi causes.

Goku isn't so sure how she's going to respond. He wonders if she would slap him or immediately rush in to call animal patrol. The worst case scenario would be that she faints or receives a heart attack. He hopes that Chi Chi will respond in a positive way.

His wife just stares at the filly for a moment, but then she tilts her head back to Goku and asks, "Where did you find her?"

"She was in a cardboard box in a dark ally. She was getting cold, and the box did say 'take her to a good home', so I thought it was best to bring her here."

Chi Chi moves her attention back to the pony. Now the filly is looking back at her with caution. Chi Chi then asks, "Can I carry her?"

Goku is stunned by the sudden question. "Well…I…sure." Goku hesitates as he holds out his arms for Chi Chi to grab the filly. As the wife pulls the pony away, the filly reaches back to Goku, but she gives up and finds herself in a new pair of arms. The pony looks up at her new carrier as Chi Chi looks down back at her as she carries the filly like a baby. When the filly calms down, she starts to nuzzle Chi Chi's arm as she's trying to get more comfortable. As this takes place, Chi Chi smiles and comments, "She's so adorable!"

Goku sighs in relief. She did react in a positive way after all. Goku feels a nudge on his side, and he looks to see Nimbus facing him with the bags on top of him. "Oh, I almost forgot. Thank you Nimbus." Goku retrieves the bags from Nimbus and then asks, "Do you want to come inside Nimbus?" The cloud shakes a no in reply and flies of into the sky. "Ok then, Bye Nimbus!" As Nimbus disappears into the clear sky, Goku looks over to Chi Chi, where he sees the little filly wave to the flying cloud as if she was saying goodbye, too.

Goku and Chi Chi take the filly inside the house. After putting the bags inside the kitchen, they have dinner. The couple decides to give the filly carrots and the mashed potatoes from their dinner. They know that horses are herbivores and the filly looked at the cooked fish in disgust, so they wouldn't want to take any chances. The filly eats in the living room while Goku and Chi Chi eat in the dining room.

Goku is on his 10th plate by now. If there's one thing Goku loves more than fighting, it would be food. As he's devouring his 11th plate, Chi Chi begins a conversation that both of them wore thinking about for a long time.

"So what should we call her?"

Goku thinks to himself for a few seconds before finally replying, "Rainbow Dash."

    "What?"

"It's simple, and perfect for her, so why not?"

"Well…ok, but I was thinking Einstein."

    "…Einstein?"

    "…Ok, your name is better."

"Then it's settled. She will be called Rainbow Dash."

"Why did you add 'Dash' at the end anyway?"

"Because I know she loves speed. Just look at what she's watching on TV."

After hearing this, Chi Chi stands up from her seat to check the filly, now called Rainbow Dash, in the living room. When she takes a look, she finds that Rainbow finished her food, but is now staring at the television with a blank expression. She's watching NASCAR. Stock cars were speeding down the track at intense speeds while taking sharp turns, nearly clipping each other. Chi Chi then goes back into the dining room and says to Goku, "I see what you mean." After she says that, she realizes something. "Wait, she turned on the TV?"

"No," Goku replies, "I turned on the TV in order to find anything important on the news."

"Then why was it on NASCAR?"

Goku grins to her and replies, "She bit me when I changed the channel."

Later that night, Goku and Chi Chi decide to go to bed, and they take Rainbow with them. They decided that because they don't have a bed for her yet, it's all right for her to sleep with them for the night. When they reach the bedroom, Goku puts the filly on the mattress before him and Chi Chi joins her. After they get Rainbow and themselves tucked into bed, Goku kisses Chi Chi's head before whispering, "Good night Chi Chi."

"Good night my sweetheart," Chi Chi replies before closing her eyes and falling asleep. Goku looks down to find Rainbow resting her head onto Goku's chest with her eyes closed. Goku smiles and kisses Rainbow's forehead before saying, "Good night Rainbow Dash." The filly smiles at this. Rainbow Dash really likes her name. She still smiles every time they say that.

Before Goku drifts off to sleep, he has one more thought in his mind while the filly sleeps soundly next to him. "You're going to be very special Rainbow Dash."

    3. A Pet, or a Daughter?

Hello again! Sorry for the wait. It's very difficult to write a fanfic during the week days when you're 16, a honors student, an athlete, an explorer, and you have family at home while you use a computer that's not entirely yours, so I have my excuses. If I'm able, I might as well write the next chapter tomorrow, but you'll have to answer the question after this chapter in order for that to happen. In the meantime... enjoy!

It's been at least two years since Goku found Rainbow Dash in that cardboard box, and everything is running smoothly with the son family. Goku hasn't shown Rainbow Dash to his friends yet. He wants to keep it a secret and give them a wonderful surprise when she grows up. Rainbow Dash also found a new thing to watch on TV. She fell in love with the stunts that a jet team was doing. Goku later found out that this team is called the Buccaneer Blazers, the greatest air force team in the world. This gives Goku another reason to think that Rainbow Dash would desperately want to fly when she gets older.

Rainbow got her own bed not too long ago, and they decided to put it in their bedroom. The couple wanted to watch over her so that she doesn't just wonder off outside and get caught by animal patrol or the government. Chichi warned Goku on why Rainbow Dash, as a pegasus, would be interesting to the government. They would experiment on her. They could run tests; lock her inside a small cage, or even worse. They might as well dissect her. When Goku learned what dissection is, he rushed the filly's bed to their bedroom like there was going to be no tomorrow.

Something was up, however. They thought the filly would run off because they assumed that the filly was a pet. They thought she was like a dog, or a cat, in which she wasn't intelligent, but there were certain signs that begged to differ. She was able to pick up a crayon with her mouth and start to draw on a piece of paper that was lying on the floor. When she showed Goku this, he was amused and surprised. Even though it was a bunch of scribbled lines with different colors, like how a little human baby's drawing would look like, the little filly at least did it. She also started to point to things she wanted with her hoof and opening doors. She even giggles or cries like a baby would, which caught the couple by surprise.

Today, they put her intelligence to the test. Rainbow Dash is sitting on the floor in the middle of the living room. In front of her, she sees a big, plastic box with three openings on the top. One is in the shape of a triangle, another is in the shape of a square, and the last one is in the shape of a circle. There are plastic blocks that scatter the floor, and they appear to reflect the shapes of the holes on the top of the container.

Goku and Chichi watch her impatiently from behind as they wait for her to do something. Rainbow looks at the blocks in curiosity. She glances up at the top of the container and then back at the blocks. When she thinks about what she has to do, she picks up a circular piece with her teeth. She sets it on top of the hole that's shaped like a triangle. When nothing happens, she moves the block to the hole that's shaped like a square. When nothing happens again, she frowns from annoyance, but then she moves the piece over the last hole. When the piece falls into the container, she flinches backwards in surprise, but then she grins and picks up another piece.

After a short period of time, Rainbow gets it down and starts to put all of the triangular, square, and circular pieces in there respected holes. When the last piece falls into the bucket, she looks backwards to her company in order to find out what to do next. Chichi looks at her in shock and amazement while Goku smiles. She succeeded the test. When Goku reaches arms length to Rainbow, he scruffs her mane and says, "That's my girl." Rainbow closes her eyes and smiles in approval. She knows that every time her dad scruffs her mane, it's a good thing.

When it's time for bed later that night, Rainbow Dash sleeps with the couple in their bed. This is a rare occurrence, but this is an award for succeeding in her test. Rainbow likes these rare moments. She likes being around her guardians for as much as possible sometimes.

Goku lies on his side of the bed with Rainbow cuddling with him. He looks over to his wife, who's sleeping soundly with her body facing the other direction of the bed. When glancing down towards the filly right next to him, he finds that she's staring up at him with shining eyes that he saw when he found her in that box. Goku smiles and kisses her on the forehead. "Good Night Rainbow," Goku says before facing upwards toward the ceiling. Goku starts to run through his thoughts while staring at the ceiling.

"So Rainbow Dash is smart. Should she still be considered a pet? I don't think so. That wouldn't be nice, but what would I call her? Would she be my partner? Maybe she could be a best friend, or even a…daughter." Goku shakes his head, "No, that wouldn't be a good idea. Maybe she has parents of her own. Then again, I don't really know mine… Let's change the subject. So she is a smart pony. Maybe she could go to school like what Chichi wanted for our future son/daughter, but she probably won't be accepted by anyone. I wonder if we could teach her. Wait, how do we have a son/daughter again? I don't know, but I might as well find out." Goku then realizes to himself, "I wonder if she could-"

    "Dada."

Goku's pupils shrink in shock and he turns to the filly again before finishing his thought, "-talk."

"Dada!" Rainbow Dash says again, smiling, before she hugs him and closes her eyes. Goku's heart stops again. He stares at her for several moments before he finally responds. Smiling at her, he hugs her as she drifts off to sleep. Many thoughts and questions rise inside his head, but the thought that he keeps in mind before falling asleep is, "I am her dad."

Now for that question I mentioned earlier. Something very dramatic happens in the next part of her childhood, but there are two different ways of finding out. This moment can either take up the next chapter or it can be mentioned much later in the story(a.k.a. Chapter 18 of the FRIEZA saga). If you chose the second idea, the Childhood saga can go by quicker, but if you chose the former, you can make more connections about what would happen later in the story much faster. Which way should I do this? Please answer by using the review post below. I'll check tomorrow, so do it fast!

    4. The Incident

Hello again! For the few people that voted, you asked for it. enjoy!

"Mr. and Mrs. Son, there is only one way that she can make it." The doctor says as he looks back at the couple. Chichi stares at him, in the brink of tears, and Goku glances around him to look at the condition of his daughter with a sorrowful expression. Rainbow is lying on their bed in the bedroom, unconscious, and she's in very bad shape. Bandages wrap around most of her mid-section and her head, and scratches can be seen that are not covered. Today is clearly not a good day, especially after the incident that Goku clearly remembers.

When Chichi heard Rainbow Dash speak for the first time about two years ago, she was thrilled. The couple got the filly many toys and books for her, and they started to teach her basic words as much as possible for the past two years. After a while of learning, Rainbow Dash can talk clearly and is able to read. She can also write and draw with her mouth. It seemed weird to them, but it works. Not too long ago, the couple got into an argument about what Rainbow will do when she grows up. Goku wanted her to train with him in martial arts, knowing that she would want to, but Chichi wanted her to attend school and live a normal life. Since that seemed to be impossible, Chichi gave in to Goku's idea, but Goku did promise that she will be homeschooled.

Goku was meditating in the woods earlier this afternoon. He finds it peaceful to do so. The woods used to be his home, so it was his favorite spot to go to. Rainbow was home alone, since Chichi was out going shopping, so Goku decided to end his meditation earlier so she wouldn't be alone for too long. After a few minutes of flying over the valley, Goku descended to the ground and was walking towards his house, which could be seen not too far up ahead. He walked casually towards the front door, but then he heard rattling coming from the back of the house.

Goku shrugged it off at first, since it was probably Rainbow. The couple got a wired fence for the backyard in order for Rainbow to roam outside. Because the filly pleaded for some fresh air, the couple decided to let her go in the backyard by herself. She couldn't fly yet, so there was no worry of her escaping, but she did constantly ram the fence from time to time.

However, Goku started to get uneasy. The noise was a lot louder than usual, and Goku was sure she didn't get that much stronger since yesterday. The noise also sounded continuous, so it wasn't something ramming into the fence. It sounded like something was scrapping on the fence with its…claws.

Rainbow was looking at her threat with fear. In front of her, she could see a mountain lion, who was trying to break through the wired fence using its paws. She looked over to the back door. She galloped towards it, but then she heard an unusual snapping sound, and she looked over. Her pupils shrank.

Before he could do anything, Goku heard a sound that he wished he never did. There was a snapping sound, a loud pitched scream, and finally… a roar. Goku immediately took action and high-tailed it towards the source of the sound. When he heard something crash to the side of the house, he started to fly there in record pace. When he turned the corner to see what was going on, he stopped and gasped. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Rainbow was lying next to the house with puncture wounds on her mid-section right next to the house. Her head was banged up, too, probably because she hit the side of the house head first. A small pool of blood could be seen around the filly. A mountain lion was standing over her, sniffing its prey, and a hole can be clearly seen through the wired fence behind them. After sniffing her, the beast opened its mouth. He was going to eat her.

"HEY!" Goku yelled at the top of his lungs. Before the mountain lion could turn to the noise, he felt a kick to the side of the face before flying through the fence and onto the dirt patched ground. The animal growled as he gets back up, but when he turned to face his attacker, he stopped growling and backs up in fear. He could see, in front of him, a pissed off Goku with the most threatening stare he ever saw. "Go!"

The beast ran as fast as he could, while whimpering, and disappeared over a hill. Goku's expression changed to concern when he turned to Rainbow Dash. She wasn't responding, so Goku ran to her and checked her pulse. She was still alive.

Goku took her inside the house and onto the bed. He found medical bands in an emergency kit and wrapped them around her as carefully as possible. He immediately called Chichi for some help. Coincidentally, she was talking to a male doctor at the grocery store when she got the call. He agreed to help and they rushed to the son family's house, using the doctor's car. When they got there, the doctor couldn't believe that he was seeing a pegasus. However, he agreed not to tell anyone about her and he went on with the routine.

Now they were in this situation. The doctor took a few tests with equipment he took out from capsules, and now he's telling them there's only one way she could survive. Goku looks back at the doctor and asks, "What is it doc?"

"It seems that she can make a full recovery from those small puncture wounds, and she seems to just have a small concussion, but she lost too much blood from her wounds. There won't be enough to travel through her circulatory system and she'll die from blood loss."

Goku remembers the pool of blood he saw under her body and shudders at the memory. "What's the solution?" Chichi asks.

"Well, the only way that she can survive at this rate is if someone is willing to donate a huge amount of blood."

Goku looks at the filly again. He feels disappointed for not being there for her when she needed it. It was his fault that she was left there alone, and he would never get over it if she died. He made his decision. He faces the doctor and says, "I'll do it."

The doctor uses a blood scanner to compare Goku's blood and Rainbow's blood. The results say that both of them have a blood type of A positive, so the procedure is possible. Two liters of blood is what the doctor recommends for the filly. Chichi protests this because it seems unreal, but Goku is willing, and he agrees to do it.

Before Goku lays down next to Rainbow Dash, Chichi points a finger at him and demands, "Don't you dare die on me!"

After hearing this, Goku moves her arm and gives a quick kiss on her lips and smiles. "Don't worry, I won't." Goku replies. Chichi then leaves the room so she wouldn't have to watch. Goku lies down next to the filly and looks over to the doctor. The man reaches into his pocket to find another capsule. He pushes the button on the top of the capsule and tosses it next to the bed on Rainbow's side. When it explodes and the after smoke clears, another contraption takes its place.

It's a rectangular machine with two tubes coming out both ends. One tube consists of a pouch and a needle at the end of the tube. The pouch is held up by a tripod pole with rotating wheels. The other end only has the needle at the end of it. The machine only has a switch that says "on" or "off".

Goku looks at it and then turns to the doctor and asks, "What's that?"

"It's a blood transporter." (Don't judge me) "It's able to transport blood from one source to another. The machine is used to vacuum blood, purify as it runs through the inside, and export the blood to this pouch. This pouch slows the blood rate so it can enter the receiver at a safe, steady pace."

Goku stares at him in confusion and says, "o-ok." After he says this, the doctor takes the needle with the pouch attached to it and implants it into a vein of Rainbow Dash's arm. After he finishes that, he takes the other needle and turns to Goku saying, "Now this won't hurt a bit."

Goku stares at the needle in horror. He hates needles. Before he screams out in fear, however, he sees Rainbow at the corner of his eye and turns to look at her. As he stares at the unconscious pony, he realizes he has to do this for her. Without him knowing, the doctor inserts the needle into the father's arm. Goku feels a sting on his left arm and looks at it to find the needle already injected into his arm. Goku becomes surprised. "That wasn't that bad."

The doctor smiles at this and then goes over to the switch. Before he flicks it, he turns to Goku and asks, "Are you ready?"

Goku tilts his head to him a gives a serious expression. "Yes," he replies, and the doctor flicks the switch. When he does, the machine starts to make a buzzing noise. Suddenly, Goku sees blood escape from his body through the tube. The blood then enters the machine, until it bursts through the other tube and enters the pouch. As the blood reaches the bottom of the pouch, the blood then enters the exit tube and slowly goes downward until it enters Rainbow's arm.

After a few minutes of this process, Goku's eyesight starts to fade. His eyelids start to shut until his eyes are closed and he drifts off to sleep.

When Goku wakes up, he looks over to find the needle taken out and a band-aid covering the exposed area. He then finds out that the machine is no longer there and Rainbow dash is still beside him. Her body is facing towards him, and she seems to be giving out soft snores. She's still alive. Goku smiles before he tries to get up.

"Stay down Mr. Son," a sudden voice directs before a force holds Goku in place, and he looks over to find that it's the doctor, "You've lost a lot of blood. It's safer for you to stay in bed." Goku decides to lay back down in response. "I'll go tell your wife that you're awake." The doctor then walks over to the door and opens it. Before he walks out, he turns his head and confesses, "The blood transplant was a success. She will have a full recovery, but don't be surprised if she doesn't wake up immediately. I'm actually surprised you're still alive."

Goku smiles at him and replies, "Ya, I know." The doctor smiles back before exiting and closing the door behind him.

A moan can be heard from the other side of the bed. Goku's eyes widen before he looks over to his daughter. He finds that her eyes start to open as she awakened by the door. When she opens her eyes, the first thing she sees is her dad staring right back at her. When she sees him, her pupils grow before she starts to get teary eyed. "Daddy!" she yells before she goes over, hugs him, and starts to cry on his shoulder. Her father responds by hugging back. "That m-monster scared me. I tried to fight back, but I-I couldn't. I-I thought that I would never see you again." Rainbow whimpers as tears fall onto Goku's shirt.

"It's ok Rainbow Dash. Everything is fine now. Daddy's here for you." Goku replies as he tries to comfort her. The door swings open to find Chichi, who looks at the scene in disbelief. She then smiles in relief as she realizes that Rainbow's alright.

Goku looks down at the pony as she hugs him. He smiles to himself and thinks, "Thank goodness you're alright."

    5. Dashie's first flight 8th birthday

Hello, I decided to put two chapters together for you, so here it is. enjoy!

Rainbow Dash is now a seven year-old young mare. She made a full recovery from the attack about two years ago, and is now going strong. Goku recently decided to begin her training a little earlier since the mountain lion incident. He wanted her to protect herself if this situation ever happens again, and Rainbow has been watching her father train for a while now. The mare is already begging him to train her, so Goku gave in.

Chichi has approved this idea. She does want a son or daughter of hers to go to college or somewhat to become a scientist, librarian, or other occupations based on a high use of the brain, but Rainbow Dash is an exception. Not only is she a pony, but her mother can tell she wants to live her father's life, badly.

The pony loves the idea of danger or action. She watches the Buccaneer Blazers' performances and NASCAR on television all the time. She likes taking risks, and is even cunning. She tried to sneak herself a cookie one time, but Goku caught her. However, they ended up sharing one of the cookies together.

Goku has been noticing that his daughter is usually full of herself, which is completely fine to him, but if there's one thing that he knows that Chichi hates, it's that Rainbow can be as stubborn as a mule. She and her mother get into some intense arguments at times, but they usually end peacefully. Her mother wins most of the time. Besides, a mother knows what's best, right? Rainbow has been asking for her own room for sometime now, but her parents refuse. What she doesn't know is that they plan to do so on a very special day.

Rainbow has been staring up at the sky for a while when she's outside or if she's looking through the window. It seems that she's desperate to fly, and by now, the mare knows she can. Goku takes this into account and decides on her first lesson.

"All right Rainbow, you ready?" Goku is standing near a tree outside of the house. Rainbow is on top of a branch on the tree while she takes time to check her wings. This will be the first time she ever does this. Nimbus is there as well, watching the cloud's new friend fly for the first time. "I'm ready" Rainbow answers.

    "All right then, go!"

Rainbow leaps into the air and flaps her wings. She falls to the ground. She tries over and over again, gaining a few cuts along the way, but she keeps on failing to gain good altitude. After the tenth try, Goku goes over to help her up, but Rainbow manages to push herself up, and she's grinning. Goku looks in confusion and asks, "Why are you smiling?"

    "I figured it out."

Goku grins at the statement and says, "Alright, then show me." Rainbow gets up and succeeds in climbing the tree and once again looks down at the ground. She extends her wings and turns to her dad. She gives a nod. Goku responds by ordering, "go!"

She jumps and flaps her wings with almost full force. The next thing she knows, she sees herself getting farther away from the ground as she continuously flaps her wings up and down.

    She's flying.

Rainbow grins as she's flying upwards, while her dad is cheering her on. However, she suddenly starts to lose balance, and she tries to regain it, but it was no use. Before she starts to plummet to the ground, she finds herself being caught by something. She looks down to find Nimbus, who is carrying her like a platform. "Good job Rainbow! You almost got it there!" she looks up to the familiar voice and finds her dad, who's looking at her with a smile on his face. Rainbow looks up at him in disappointment.

"Sorry dad, I must have lost my focus. I'll do better next-"

"There's nothing to be sorry of Rainbow. You were able to take flight on your first day, and that's pretty good in my book. I think we're done for the day. You'll take a few days to get used to flying with those wings of yours. After that's over with, I'll train you in the basics of hand to hand," he says, and then he looks at Rainbow's so called hands and corrects, "or hoof to hoof. Then, I'll teach you of the use of ki and maybe, in the far future, teach you how to fly without the wings, if needed of course." Goku says this as he and Nimbus descends to their front door. When they touch down, Nimbus and Goku exchange nods in farewell and Nimbus flies off the other direction.

"Thank you Nimbus!" Rainbow Dash yells to the yellow cloud before its unseen. The mare turns to her father, smiles, and asks, "What's for dinner tonight?"

Goku smiles back and says, "It's a special one; vegetarian sushi."

Rainbow is doing very well in her training. She can now fly fluently through the air in incredible speeds for a pony her age. Then again, Goku has never seen another pegasus before, so he can't really make that statement, but he knows that Rainbow Dash is fast. She flies almost as fast as he does now.

Her fighting technique is improving very quickly. It was a little strange for her to learn the stances on her hind legs, but she got the hang of it after a little while with a few adjustments. When it comes to her ki, she can already create a Kamehameha, even though it isn't as strong as her dad's. Goku's proud that she's learning so quickly. Rainbow will be a great warrior someday and he knows it.

They also found another ability of hers that's quite amazing. As if the legends were right on the money, Rainbow Dash can walk on normal clouds. Goku was amazed by this, especially when she jumped in joy. When she landed on the cloud, a lightning bolt struck down onto a nearby tree and caused it to tumble down to the ground as birds scattered away from the area. Goku's jaw dropped as he looked at the wreckage and then back at his tree killing daughter. The only thing Rainbow could respond with was, "Oops".

The day has finally come. Rainbow sits at the dining room table with a wide grin on her face. Goku and Chichi are sitting by her side. The mare can see presents stacked on the other side of the table and there's a cake right in front of her with eight lit candles implanted on the top.

    It's her eighth birthday.

The couple don't exactly know when her birthday is, but they decided to mark her birthday on the day when Goku found her; March 16.

"Hey mom, can I open the presents first this time?" Rainbow asks.

"No sweetheart, you know the drill. Cake's first."

"Who doesn't want cake first?" Goku asks. This makes Chichi and Rainbow roll there eyes and chuckle.

"Now it's time to blow out the candles." Chichi orders.

"Make sure you make a wish first!" Goku says.

"Ok, I think I have one!" Rainbow announces. She takes a deep breath in before she thinks of her wish. It might seem she will wish for a room, but she doesn't. Dash always dreamed of having something else for a while now. It hasn't happened yet, and she hopes it does in the future. "I wish to be an older sister."

After she thinks about her wish, she blows the candles out and her parents clap for her and cheers. "You're really getting strong with those blows of yours Rainbow! You're training is really paying off." Goku comments to her.

Rainbow smiles at him and responds, "Thanks dad."

    "Now it's cake time!"

Chichi takes an eighth of the cake, Goku takes 3/8s of it, and Rainbow takes the rest, since it's her birthday. The mare has a huge appetite, especially after the mountain lion incident. They just assume that she got it from Goku.

After they devour the cake, Rainbow looks over to the presents and announces; "Now it's present time!"

When she opens her presents, she's surprised of what she finds. In the past, she got simple toys that could fit into her parent's room, near her bed, or in the living room. This time, she gets a few big presents. She receives a huge poster of the Buccaneer Blazers and even a telescope. When she opens the telescope, she turns to her mom and asks, "How am I supposed to fit this in our room?!"

"You aren't supposed to." Rainbow looks at her mom with even more confusion. Her mom smiles and continues, "Now put your new things into your room."

It only takes a second for Rainbow Dash to realize what she meant. Her eyes widen and her mouth hangs open before replying, "What?"

Goku grins before he points to the living room and says, "Next room on your left after ours."

As soon as he says this, Rainbow gallops in that direction and looks inside the room her father is talking about. She can't believe what she's seeing. "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!" All of her stuff is in there; toys, figurines, etc. She has an even bigger bed in the corner with light blue sheets and a white, fluffy blanket. Rainbow Dash is thrilled. She hops up and down in joy before running over to her parents and hugs them ass hard as she can, and they hug back. "Thank you so much!" she says.

"It's fine Rainbow," Chichi replies, "We were planning on doing this for a while."

"Ya," Goku adds, "Besides, you deserve it." After he says this, Goku then thinks, "You really do deserve it."

One more thing. There might be a delay due to me going to Kentucky today. Wish me luck! :)

    6. The Talk

Hello again! Sorry for the wait,. I've been in Kentucky, so I've been really busy. I have time this week, since I don't have a sport until March, so I'll try to make another chapter this week.

Now about this chapter. It's shorter than the other ones, but it's a very important one. Why? Well lets just say it answers on of your big questions. Enjoy!

Rainbow Dash's life is going very nicely at this point. She loves her new room, of course, and she starts to feel more independence as time goes on, which she likes. Her dad's training is really putting her in amazing shape. She's mastered multiple techniques by now; like the kamehameha, the solar flare, and the meteor combination (which is her favorite melee combo) to name a few.

She's now teaching herself to develop attacks using the lightning from the clouds and how to form huge tornadoes. The mare is also developing a new technique. It surges ki into one of her fore hooves and as she drives the hoof forward to make a punch, the powerful force creates a shock wave of blue electricity and delivers a powerful blow to her target. She decided to name it after her idols and calls it the "Buccaneer Blaze". The funny thing is that she's managed to complete this training nine months since her eighth birthday. Her father is thrilled while her mother is somewhat nervous for her.

She also learned how to fly without her wings, but she still prefers to use them. Speaking of flight, her speed increased tremendously. Rainbow's just as fast as her father now. She enjoys soaring through the air in her spare time, since there isn't really anywhere to go to but the air.

The mare asked her dad about martial art tournaments or other teachers she could learn from, but her mother told her of all the possibilities of what could happen to her if she shows herself in public since she is a pegasus. Her father hasn't even shown her to his friends yet. He tells her that it will happen when she's ready and finished with her training. This motivates her to train even harder, which Goku is perfectly fine with, but Chichi does want to spend a little more time with her. However, at this period of time, that doesn't seem to be possible.

Rainbow's family life has been pretty strange for the past few months. The source of this is her mom. She's been acting very weird. It seems that the way she walks, sits, and eats has changed dramatically. It's more of what she eats instead of how she eats. Dash remembers one time when her mom asked her dad to get watermelon, ice cream, and pickles at two o'clock in the morning. Goku obeyed because even her temper is shorter, which Rainbow didn't find possible at first. There's also one other change that she found very noticeable, and that's her mothers size of her stomach. It's gotten a lot bigger.

Today, she's going to ask her dad about this. After dinner, and another outburst, Rainbow's mom goes to bed early, again. The mare finds her opportunity, so before her dad leaves the table, Rainbow quickly asks, "Hey dad, can I talk to you for a second?"

Goku turns his head to look at her before replying, "Sure, what is it?" He usually gets these sudden questions from his daughter. It's usually about what they're planning to do tomorrow for training, when they're going to meet his friends or what his friends are like. In other cases, he tells her stories of his childhood before she came along. She's been very interested with that and he practically told her everything; from Grandpa Gohan to the Red Ribbon Army to King Piccolo and even his son. Goku even told her about the dragon balls. However, he isn't really expecting the question she asks so soon.

"Why does it seem that mom has extreme anger issues, has back problems, has severe eating disorders and looks like she ate 20 cookie jars whole for two weeks at the same time?"

Goku widens his eyes at her in shock. After a while, he finally mutters, "It's that noticeable?"

"Well ya, how can't it be?"

Goku takes time before saying, "Well…she did say not to tell you since you wouldn't understand, but I don't really either, so-"

"Tell me!" Rainbow interrupts in desperation as she sits up from her chair.

"Ok, ok I'll tell you! Just bare with me though, ok?" Rainbow sits back down satisfied as she hears her dad speak. "Alright, where to begin… Well I should start the way your mother did." He then looks over to Rainbow and starts his explanation. "When a man and a women love each other…

When her dad finishes, Rainbow Dash sits there in confusion as she tries to take the new information all in. When she finally can, she responds, "So let me get this straight. A male puts this private part somewhere on the female's private part and he goes back and forth until he has this awesome feeling. Then, after that's done, the female has these weird things happen to her. Is that right?"

    "Pretty much," Goku answers.

"Why would you want to do that?" Rainbow immediately replies.

"Apparently, that's where babies come from." Rainbow draws back in shock before Goku waves his arms and confesses, "Trust me, I have no idea how either. We'll just have to wait and see."

Rainbow can't believe what she just heard. "That's where babies come from?! That doesn't make any since, what does that me-" When reality kicks in, her jaw drops and she gasps. Goku reacts in confusion and concern.

"Rainbow, what's wrong?" Goku asks the stunned mare. After a few moments, the mare doesn't reply, but then she responds in a way that Goku doesn't expect. The pony grows a huge smile. Her pupils widen and they seem to sparkle in excitement. Her father now looks at her with even more confusion. When she finds the words she wants to say, Rainbow finally responds.

"Does this mean I'm going to be a big sister?"

Goku's jaw drops in astonishment as reality kicks into him, too. "I-I think so."

When her father says this, Rainbow Dash jumps in the air and squeals like a little school girl before she dashes over to her dad and gives him the biggest hug she could ever give. "yesyesyesyesyesyes! I've always wanted to be a sister. I can't believe it! Oh thankyouthankyouthankyouthan kyou!" The mare rambles in Goku's ear.

When she finishes, Goku hugs back and replies, "I know Dash, I know." As his daughter hugs him, Goku only thinks, "I'm just as excited as you are."

    7. His Name

Hello, turns out I had no time during the week, as usual. This chapter is longer than the others, so I think that makes up for it. In that case... enjoy!

The day is peaceful in the plains. The sun is starting to set as the cool breeze sweeps through the landscape. In the view, the Son family's house can be seen. Inside, all of the rooms are uninhabited, except for one. In the living room, there's a family gathering. This includes Goku, Chichi, their daughter; Rainbow Dash; and Chichi's father; the Ox King. Ox King is a lot bigger than the others. Standing at least a foot taller than Goku, his appearance is intimidating. His hat that has two horns sticking out of the sides, his black beard, and his prescription glasses finishes his look. Ox King recently figures out about Rainbow Dash's presence when he arrived, and he was shocked at first, but then he starts to feel comfortable with the situation. He is even happy that she's his grandchild now, especially if that means he has two. There is another person with them.

The family gathers around in the middle of the room, but they aren't having a conversation. They're all staring inside a cradle. Inside the cradle, there's a human baby boy. The baby has the same eyes as the rest of the family's, but Rainbow's rose colored eyes, and he has a short, curly hair-cut. He also has a small, red top hat with a yellow stripe on the top of his head. With a red blanket over him and a teddy bear by his side, he sleeps peacefully with his head toward the ceiling.

Chichi and her father stare at her newborn son and smiles in excitement. However, Goku and Rainbow look at him in confusion and curiosity, but Rainbow is also showing excitement as well in her expression. The mare has to hang on to the side of the cradle in order to look down at the filly, and she also has her tail swaying back and forth like a dog does when it's happy. After a long period of time Chichi finally comments, "He's so cute!"

"Gosh, look how tiny he is!" Goku says.

Chichi turns to him and replies, "That's because he's a baby, silly."

Rainbow then budges in and says, "He's so… squishy looking."

    Goku responds, "I know, right?"

Chichi rolls her eyes and comments, "Ugh, you two are sometimes so unbearable."

This is when Ox King steps in. "Uhhhh… Don't you think it's time that you give the boy a name?" he asks while poking his fingers together in shyness.

Chichi looks back at him and answers, "I've thought of one. It came to me not htat long ago."

"Oh, I didn't think you picked already."

    "Yes, Einstein."

Everybody looks at her in disbelief and they all say, "What! Einstein? You're kidding!"

"Hardly, our boy is going to be Einstein." Right when she says this, there's an immediate sound of crying coming from the cradle. When the family looks inside to find the baby balling his eyes out, Chichi picks him up to comfort him and says, "There, There, boy."

"I don't think he likes the name you picked out for him honey." Ox King confesses.

"Nonsense dad, look, he's fine with the name Einstein." As if one cue, the baby starts to cry even harder.

Rainbow Dash smiles and thinks, "Thank god."

"He hates the name honey." Ox King says.

"Well, what do you think we should call him dad?" Chichi asks.

"Well I don't know. I did scribble a few names down." As he says this, Ox King walks over to his bag and opens it to find a gigantic green scroll. "Ah, there, here it is!" When he opens it, a long sheet of paper is shown with tons of names in it. The rest of the family looks in amazement. "Let's see here," he says as he scrolls through the names, "Ox King Jr., Ox Monkey, Big Ox, Oxford, Oh you'll like these! Ox in the Box, Ox man, Johnny Ox seed-" Before he can finish, the boy starts to cry again.

"Well he hates them, too," Chichi comments with a smile.

    "Ah be darned."

"I have some!" The rest of the family looks at Rainbow when she says this with excitement in her voice.

"Well, what are they?" Chichi asks.

"How about Spitfire?" The mare looks over to the baby before he shakes his head in refusal. "Well, how about Whirl Wind?" The baby repeats his last gesture. "Ok, well maybe Dark Phase. Sonic? Flash? Eyeshield? Pikachu?" Every time she says a name, the baby shakes his head, while getting unhappy even more for each name she says. "Ah come on! You can at least like the name Soarin!" The baby starts to ball his eyes out once again.

    "I don't think they're working." Goku confesses.

"Ah, man!" Rainbow pouts before she crosses her forelegs together.

Some time has past while they're thinking of a name for the baby that's now back in his cradle. The baby has a look of wonder of what's going to happens next. Goku sits on a chair backwards while his arms rest on the back part of the chair. Chichi and her dad are sitting on a bench with there hands on their own faces. Rainbow Dash is on the floor looking to the ceiling with a pensive expression. Out of nowhere, Goku announces, "Guys, I think I'm going to go fishing."

"No way!" Everyone else in the room says after they glance up at him in shock.

Goku looks back at them and asks, "No? Why?"

The others stand up and walk, or fly, towards him. "Because we have a nameless boy, that's why!" Chichi answers.

"You can't just walk out of here to go fishing with a nameless son!" Ox King says with a frown.

"Come on dad!" Rainbow speaks, "At least think of one!"

Goku gains a serious expression on his face before responding, "One?" The rest of the family nods. He stands up from his chair and repeats, "One." The family nods again. After a long pause, Goku puts one of his hands behind his head, smiles, and says with an innocent tone, "Well sure, but can we eat first? I'm starving!" The whole family falls backwards in disbelief.

Chichi immediately stands back up, runs to her husband, and yells at his face, "You're hungry huh!? HOW CAN YOU THINK OF FOOD WHEN YOUR SON IS LYING THERE WITHOUT A NAME!?" As she's saying this, Rainbow goes over to the baby and stares at him, trying to think of a name. Ox King sits back down and tries to think of a name as well. Before Goku can respond Chichi continues, "I know you were raised in the woods, but surely Gohan taught you some manners!"

When she says this, giggling can be heard from the cradle. Rainbow is caught off guard by this and reacts with confusion and the Ox King looks over with the same look and walks toward the cradle. Rainbow Dash suddenly gets the idea and gains a shocked expression before he looks back at her parents.

"Goku, tell me please! Were you taught ANY thing that resembles manners from Gohan!?" Chichi yells. The baby begins to laugh again and the Ox King realizes the idea as well.

"Well, not really, no." Goku answers.

Rainbow Dash and Ox King look back inside the crib at the laughing baby. As this is happening, Chichi responds to Goku, "You just use the fact that you were raised in the woods as an excuse for being totally uncouth!"

Ox King looks at his daughter and confesses, "I think you found it Chichi."

Chichi looks back and yells, "Found what!?"

Rainbow answers, "The name, watch this mom!" She looks back at the baby and says, "Gohan." The boy laughs again. "See, he likes it! Gohan." The baby giggles once again. This happens a few more times, and as it's happening, the couple looks at the situation in astonishment.

"Oh my goodness you guys, I think you're right!" Chichi complements.

Goku looks over to the shelf where he finds a dragon ball on a cushion next to a clock. "The four star ball," He thinks to himself, "grandpa's ball." He looks back at his son and says with eyes shining and a smile, "How cool! He really wants to have old grandpa's name. Wow!"

Ox King then comments to Goku, "I think Gohan would like it if you named your son after him, where ever he is. I guess I can wait for the next one."

"Well, here that Gohan? That's your name!" After he says this, he picks up the giggling child, who's now called Gohan and says, "Gohan! Is that what you want to be called?" He then lifts Gohan up high into the air and starts to baby talk to him with a huge smile on his face. As this is unfolding, Rainbow has a huge smirk on her face.

"Now that's a name I can live with." The mare thinks to herself.

Chichi doesn't have the same expression at first. She has a look of concern on her face. However, she decides to change her attitude and begins to smile. "Ah, Goku," she says in a dreamily tone.

Later that night, Rainbow trots into her room. Over the past year, she has been getting a few more posters of the Buccaneer Blazers or toys of all sorts. However, she doesn't get any today, and that's saying something if it's March 16. Rainbow hops onto her bed and stares up at her cyan blue ceiling. Her room was painted the same color as her coat; since they couldn't decide what other color would fit her.

Out of nowhere, she hears a knock on her door. "Who is it?"

"I don't know," a voice answers through the door. Rainbow has a face of confusion. It's her dad. They decided a while back that they will answer each other's door with that response, just in case.

"Come in." The door opens to find Goku as he enters and closes the door behind him.

"Hey Rainbow, do you want to talk?"

"About what dad?" Rainbow sits up from her bed.

"You know what. Today IS your birthday."

Rainbow looks away and responds, "I know."

"I'm sorry for the lack of attention. We were just so caught up in Gohan being born that we didn't have time." After he says this, he gains a smile. "How about we celebrate it tomorrow? That's an idea, right?"

Rainbow looks up with a smile and answers, "Nah, its cool. I already got what I wanted." At first, Goku shows confusion, but then gets the idea and smiles.

"You really like Gohan, don't you?"

"Ya, I do, and I did wish to be a big sister last year."

"Well, it looks like your wish came true," Goku replies, "And mine did, too." Rainbow is surprised at this and looks at him in shock. "I wanted someone there for you when I'm not, and when he grows up, I think Gohan is that person." Goku goes over to her and puts his hand on her shoulder and continues, "He also needs someone to protect him, and I know that I won't be able to be by his side every time he needs help. If that ever happens, I think you're the one to replace me." His daughter stares at him in aw at what he just said.

After a few moments, Rainbow smirks at him and responds, "Perhaps your right."

Her dad hugs her and says, "I love you Rainbow."

She hugs him back and replies, "I love you, too, dad."

After a few moments, they break the hug and Goku walks to the door as Rainbow lies back down and puts the blanket over her. After he opens the door, Goku turns his head back to his daughter and says, "Good night, Rainbow Dash."

"Good night dad." After her dad closes the door behind him, Rainbow stares at the ceiling again. "My dad is right," she thinks to herself before falling asleep, "I have to be there for him."

    8. Attention

Hello again! I'm so sorry for the long wait. I 've been very busy with work, school, sports, and being lazy. I was going to combine two chapters together into one, but that would be a longer wait for you. In that case, enjoy!

Gohan is a good addition to the son family's life. Everyone is happy with his presence and no one regrets the fact that he was born over three years ago. However, Rainbow did feel a little irritated after Gohan was born. Ever since, she felt like her parents have been using more of their time with Gohan than with her. This was mostly from her mother. She seemed to be around Rainbow's little brother 24/7, and it really annoyed her. Even her dad was spending less time with her and more time with Gohan. Rainbow did complain to him about this, but he insisted that he had no other choice.

This changed one summer afternoon, her dad insisted to her mom that they leave their two year-old son with Rainbow while they went shopping. She started to protest, but Goku dragged her into a different room and started a private conversation with her. When they came back out, Rainbow couldn't believe that her mom actually agreed with the idea and they left her with Gohan all alone.

After this happened, Rainbow decided to turn on the TV, and changed the channel to the Buccaneer Blazers. She thought that Gohan would start to wine or even cry for her to change the channel to one of those old educational shows that their mom wanted him to watch.

However, it shocked her that he was actually really interested with the Blazers. He was even staring at the stunts that they performed in awe. He was even more excited when the Buccaneer Blazers performed one of their special stunts as a finisher to the routine. When they succeeded, Gohan giggled in joy, and Rainbow had a huge smile on her face. Even though he was the center of her annoyance, it was pretty cool that he enjoyed something as well as she did.

When the routine was finished, she changed the channel to NASCAR to see if Gohan would enjoy that as well. She was lucky that it was even on at the time. At first, it seemed that Gohan was amazed at the cars that drove at high rates of speed. That was until after about fifty laps. After that, Rainbow heard Gohan yawning next to her. She couldn't blame him, actually. After a while, it would get pretty boring watching cars drive in circles for hours.

This reminded her of the comedian that decided to use NASCAR as a joke. He said, "Look, they take a left turn. Now they turn left again. No Wait... Another left turn! Don't worry people, you won't miss a thing!"

Rainbow also remembered that it was almost his naptime, so she took that into consideration. When he yawned again, Rainbow turned to him and asked, "Naptime?" Her little brother nodded and reached his arms out to her so she could carry him to his cradle. Rainbow sighed and picked him up with her hooves and flew him to the cradle. When they got there, she gently put him inside and put the blanket over him.

Before she left, however, Gohan pointed to a nearby shelf and began to whimper. When Rainbow Dash looked to the place he was pointing to, she saw a stack of children books, which she recognized from when she was a little filly. She remembered when she was a little that she would always want one of her parents to read her a story before she went to sleep. Rainbow sighed and said, "Fine, but just one book, ok?" Gohan nodded.

Rainbow then trotted to the shelf and looked at the stack of books for a good story. Just then, she found a book on top of the stack that looked very strange. When she picked it up, she found a note on the cover. It said, "Read this one." The, mare was stunned by the note. It was in her dad's handwriting. When she removed the note, she found the title of the book to be the same handwriting as well. She also giggled at the stick figures her father drew. He wasn't the best at art. When she read the title, it said, "the Tale of Two". Her father did say that she has to read it to him, so Rainbow decided to go with it. She went back to her brother and announced, "Alright, today we're reading 'The Tale of Two'. Are you ready?" Gohan nodded and Rainbow responded with, "Ok, here goes nothing."

She opened the book and began to read. "Once upon a time, in a magical land that was very far away, there was a kingdom of magical humans and ponies that united under two ruling siblings. Since their mother and father were of different species, the older sister was a pony and her name was Hsad, and the younger brother was a human named Nahog"

Rainbow paused for a moment after she read the two names. They were very weird to her, but when an idea went through her mind, her eyes widened and she looked back at the book. She didn't know what her dad was planning, so she decided to read on. "The younger brother was in charge of raising the sun at dawn, and the older sister was in charge of bringing out the stars and the moon at night. Together, they kept peace and happiness throughout the land. However, the older sister became resentful overtime. Their people worked and played throughout her brother's day, but they shunned and slept through her beautiful night. The people also seemed to give more attention to Nahog, so the older sister felt isolated and alone. One faithful day, the older sister decided to not let the moon set in the horizon, and she kept the moon high in the sky. The younger brother tried to reason with her, but Hsad's inner rage transformed her into an evil tyrant; Nightmare. She threatened to send the world into eternal darkness and to never let the people see the sun ever again. In order to defend his kingdom, the younger brother was forced to defeat Nightmare, and he banished her to the moon. Nahog was left to rule his kingdom single handedly, and he brought both the day and the night. The people of the kingdom were in an era of peace and happiness once more. However, Nightmare's banishment didn't last forever. After a thousand years, she used the stars to aid in her escape, and she once again threatened to bring the world into eternal night. There was a catch. Nahog was prepared for her return, and he put his plan into action. When he faced Nightmare, he surprised her with a spell that removed her dark powers and Hsad was reborn. When she awakened, she looks at her little brother in fear as she believed that he would punish her for what she has done. That wasn't the case. Nahog comforted her, and he begged her to return to the throne. After hearing this, Hsad apologized for all the horrible events that she had caused, and she immediately agreed with the offer. Together once again, the two gave their kingdom peace once again, and they all lived happily…ever…after."

Rainbow Dash closed the book and then stared at it for a moment. She couldn't believe what she read. She was reminded of her task in life to protect her little brother, and he would protect her back. She realized the full extent of the saying. Not only do they protect each other, but they also comfort each other and help each other through the good and the bad. They were meant to be together. The mare suddenly heard sounds of groaning coming from the cradle. She looked inside to find Gohan pointing at the stack of books on the shelf again. He wanted to hear another story.

"Not now Gohan," Rainbow said, "A book is a book and I'm not going to read another." She put the story she read on top of the pile and went back to the cradle. Gohan started to whimper, but Rainbow silenced it by continuing, "Hey, how about I read you one tonight. Is that a good idea?" Gohan replied with a giggle. "But you have to fall asleep. A tough guy like you needs his rest." Rainbow proceeded to put the blanket over her little brother, and she looked at him. "Night Gohan," she said before she turned and started to trot to the door.

    "Night sis."

Rainbow stopped in her tracks and paused for a moment, and then tilted her head back at Gohan. She's been pushing him to say 'sis' ever since he started to say 'mama' and 'dada', and now she accomplished her goal. Gohan then closed his eyes and went off into his dream world. Rainbow gave a gentle smile and then trotted out of the room.

Rainbow Dash was thrilled. "Now this was an awesome day," she thought as she trotted to her room. When she gets to her room and was about to open it, she thinks, "I have to thank dad for that." She then proceeded to turn the door knob.

    "Hey Dash!"

Rainbow was caught off guard and jumped away from the noise. When she faced that direction, she was surprised to find him. It was her dad. "Dad!" she yelled, "Don't do that! You surprised the heck out of me!"

"I thought it would be fun," he replied, "Besides, you should have seen me coming a mile away."

Rainbow glared at him for a moment before shrugging it of and grinned, "Ya, you did get me there."

After a pause, Goku asked, "So how was it?"

"Best story ever," Rainbow replied, "when did you get here?"

"Around the same time where you were reading about her return."

    "You saw?"

"Yep, and I have to say it was nice of you to read for him tonight. It's about time you two hanged out. So how was it before?"

"Awesome! He actually likes the Blazers and NASCAR, well until after fifty laps. He got tired and I put him in bed."

    "That's cool."

    "So where's mom?"

"Well, she's at another store. She told me to check up on you two to see how you were doing and she would get here later."

Rainbow frowned a little and asked, "Is she worried about us, or is she worried about Gohan?"

Her dad laughed at the question. Before Rainbow said anything, Goku answered, "Of course she's worried about both of you! Heck, she is worried if you two would actually get along. The last thing she wanted was a house on fire and someone getting hurt." Goku leaned down to Rainbow's eye level and continued, "She would be very happy when she gets home. Believe it or not, she wanted you two to get along just as much as I did, but she just didn't know how that was possible. Besides, she was worried about Gohan, too, but that's because you have to understand that he's a baby. If he didn't get the attention he has now, he would be bawling for someone to comfort him and protect him. The reason your mom argued about leaving Gohan behind while we went out was because she wasn't sure if you can handle it, since you never have done it before, and you're still only eleven." He then put a hand on Rainbow's shoulder. "But you did it, and you did an amazing job at it. I'm proud of you, Dash, and Chichi would be, too."

Rainbow stared at her dad in awe. Even though he could be stupid at times, he always knew what to say to her. The mare smiles at him and replied, "Thanks dad."

"No problem," Goku responded. He then stood back up and said, "I think I'm going to train outside, you coming?"

"Sure," Rainbow answered. Her dad and she went over to the door. "One more thing dad," Rainbow said before they walked out the door.

Goku turned his head towards her and responded, "Ya?"

"You should really work on your drawing."

Goku smirked and replied, "Ya, I know."

That was around a year ago.

Gohan is now a three year-old boy, and is with his mother at the moment. He's in a cradle as his mom's standing, and they're staring at the sky in a clearing outside their house. The two are watching as Rainbow is standing on a cloud over a thousand feet high, and she's with her dad and their cloud friend, Nimbus.

Over the past few years, Rainbow has shown to be the fastest flyer Goku has ever seen. It seems that she has surpassed him, but they're really neck and neck. Recently, Rainbow challenged Nimbus in a head to head race by the Son family's house, and the cloud agreed. It wanted to see what she's got.

The race has been set over the forest, and it even cuts through part of it as well. The course is simple; do one huge lap and go back to the finish line. Rainbow Dash and Nimbus are now behind an imaginary starting line and Goku flies beside them. He's going to be the referee, and prepares to give the signal.

"Are you guys ready?" Goku asks. The two racers give a nod and Goku continues, "Alright, I'm going to countdown from three. You two will take off when I say 'go'. You got that?"

"Yep," Rainbow answers. Nimbus gives another nod.

"Three…" Rainbow gets into position, and her wings spread out from her sides. Nimbus prepares itself as well. "Two…" Rainbow Dash stares in front of her intensely as she licks her lips in anticipation. "One…" Time seems to slow as the two racers prepare for the sudden burst of adrenaline. Only one command is needed for this to occur…

    "GO!"

I can't wait to write the next chapter, and I'll try to upload it ASAP. I understand that so far not much action has accured, but this is only the beggining. BTW, just to let you know, the Nightmare Moon incident has already happened. This story is based after the season 3 premiere, so don't expect it. Anyway, until next time, see ya!

    9. Sonic Rainboom

Hello again! I'm so sorry for the VERY long wait. I've been busy with school, tennis, explorers, etc. I made the chapter longer than other chapters, so I hope it makes up for the delay, so... enjoy!

    "GO!"

The two racers zip right past Goku with a rainbow and yellow streak following behind them. Goku's hair sticks backwards from the force, but he shakes it off and follows the trail as the duo fly at incredible speeds. Goku smiles to himself and thinks, "Now this is more like it!"

The duo flies through the sky with intense force as they speed past the terrain below them. At first, Nimbus holds the lead with Rainbow trailing behind it. However, in a burst of speed, Dash flies right past the yellow cloud as they enter the halfway point; the forest. One after the other, they dive into the thick trees as they begin the toughest part of the race.

Both of them seem to pass the tree stumps with ease as they cut through the forest left and right. Nimbus watches as Rainbow swerves from every tree with little effort as she flies at top speed in front of it. The yellow cloud knows that it can't past her at this rate; he decides to go for a different approach.

It cuts through a nearby branch, which causes a snap to occur. Rainbow looks back, thinking that Nimbus hit a tree. However, she only found the yellow cloud to be completely unharmed, and before she faces forward again, it happens. She smashes right into a tree, but it doesn't stop there. One by one, at least ten trees are cut from their roots as the mare smashes through them as well.

Goku watches as a huge row of trees come crashing down and the birds scatter away from the wreckage. He reacts to the sight by widening his eyes and then an expression of uncertainty. He mutters, "Well that's not good."

Nimbus stops for a bit to see if the pony is ok. After the dust clears, Dash is seen getting back on to her hooves. She has a few scratches, but none of them are too serious. When it sees her, Nimbus flies off.

"Hey!" Rainbow yells before she chases him through the forest. Cutting left and right between the trees once more, Rainbow Dash trails Nimbus before they reach the clearing. They are very close to the finish line. All they have to do now is to fly upwards to the highest cloud and then shoot straight down before they reach Goku and the finish line.

The duo burst upwards as they fly higher and higher in the sky. Rainbow Dash seemed to be trailing Nimbus, and is unable to catch up. She tries to push herself even harder, but the yellow cloud always seems to be one step ahead of her as it matches the mare's speed. They were getting close now. A few more moments and then they will begin descending to the finish line below. It would seem that Nimbus has the edge and the win.

However, something clicked inside of Rainbow. "I can do it," she thinks to herself, "Push it!" They reach the highest cloud. Nimbus completely changes course and starts to head downwards at full speed. When Rainbow reaches it, she yells at the top of her lungs, "I WON'T LOSE!" She then begins her descend. She rapidly accelerates faster than a speeding bullet and all that can be seen by the normal naked eye is a rainbow blur. She feels every muscle tense up in her body, her skin burns like its on fire, and her lips are brought back by the powerful force.

It seems to work as she starts to catch up to Nimbus at a slow pace. Goku watches from not too far below as the two racers are about to fly by him and the finish. As he watches his daughter catching up to Nimbus, he smiles in excitement. "This is going to be close," he states to himself. As the two continue descending, it seems that Rainbow is actually catching up faster and faster.

Suddenly, Rainbow finds herself surrounded by a clear colored cone, which is also known as the mach cone. She just broke the sound barrier. Goku looks at this in wonder, but then the barrier got sharper. Rainbow is seen going faster and faster while the mach cone gets smaller and smaller. At this speed, she easily catches up to Nimbus, and she causes him to spin out of control as she passes him with incredible force. Nimbus comes to a complete stop as it looks back at Rainbow to see her race to the finish.

She didn't stop there. She knew by now that she passed Nimbus, but she felt a great surge of adrenaline and wanted to keep pushing herself to the breaking point. The mach cone was now almost the width of her body, and she pushed herself even harder. The next thing everyone knows, it happens.

With a sudden burst of acceleration, Rainbow accelerates to at least twice her previous speed, and she does it in style. A huge sonic boom behind Rainbow covers the sky above the forest intensely, and vibrantly. The sonic boom shows off its vast amount of beautiful colors. The outer layer of the sonic boom shines the greatest shades of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple that anyone has ever seen. As the colors surround the sky, Rainbow Dash literally has a rainbow trail following right behind her.

If Nimbus could show emotions, his expression would be the same as Goku's. Goku's jaw drops as he stares at the rainbow blur zipping through the sky faster than he has ever seen before. His eyes sparkle as the glow from the rainbow colored sky reflects light from his eyes. The next thing he knows, he realizes that the she's speeding towards his direction. She is heading right for him.

Goku immediately crosses his arms to block himself from the extreme force. Rainbow zooms right past him, including the finish line, a second later, and her speed causes Goku to fly back a few feet, but he's able to keep his stance. When he looks back to see if she hit the forest, Goku finds that the rainbow streak made a sharp turn that runs toward the sky above, so he looks up. When he spots it, he finds his daughter doing something completely amazing. With the rainbow streak following behind her, she's forming an arc high in the sky. She's literally producing a rainbow.

Rainbow feels amazing. This has to be the fastest she has ever gotten in her entire life. She decides to turn her head to see any damage that might have accidently been caused, but what she really finds struck her. She finds a rainbow trailing behind her, and the vast amount of colors that surround the entire sky. Her eyes widen from this in shock. She then focuses on looking in front of herself again, and has the same expression on her face as she tries to take it all in. When she does, she makes a wide grin and thinks to herself, "Now this is awesome!"

She opens her wings and levels them parallel to the ground when she gets close to the surface in order to land in the clearing of the forest. She begins to slow down rapidly and touches the ground softly moments later. When the mare looks behind her in order to find her dad and Nimbus, she spots the rainbow that she caused. The colors shine in the sky with the power similar to the full moon on a perfect night. The rainbow can be seen sparkling intensely and the colors spread throughout the entire atmosphere above her. Rainbow gazes at it with a look of aw before she spots something else.

Two dots are seen in the distance and they increase in size as if they're heading right for her. The pony already knew who they were. A few moments later, the dots grow large enough to be identified as Goku and Nimbus as they head right for Rainbow Dash with excitement on Goku's face.

"Way to go Rainbow!" Goku yells before he lands on the ground and runs over to her. When he reaches her, he immediately comments, "That was the fastest I've ever seen you! You really outdid yourself this time!"

"Sorry dad," Rainbow replies with a smirk, "I couldn't help myself."

Goku wraps his arm around her and scruffs her hair as he says, "That's my girl."

    "Rainbow Dash!"

The pair turns to find Chichi running over to them with Gohan behind her. Rainbow finds a concern look on her face, and she immediately knows why. When she reaches them, Chichi immediately hugs Rainbow and says, "Thank goodness you're alright! I was so worried about you."

"Didn't you see the awesome rainbow I made mom?"

Chichi stopped hugging Rainbow and then the worried mother started to check her daughter's entire body for any damage. So far, she hasn't seen anything out of the ordinary. "I did, and it was very beautiful, but I heard you slam into the trees in the forest before, so I was so worried about you-"

All of a sudden, Rainbow can hear mother gasp. Rainbow looks over to her mom to find her… staring at the side of her rump. The pony is very confused by this, so she asks, "What's up mom?" Chichi doesn't respond for a short period of time, but then she slaps the mare in the back of the head. "Hey, what was that for!?" she yelps. Now Goku and Nimbus are confused.

Suddenly, Chichi yells at her daughter, "What did I tell you about getting a tattoo!?"

Rainbow immediately gives her mom a confused look, and Goku just looks dumbfounded. "A what?" Rainbow asks. She looks back to see Gohan looking at the same spot her mother did, and the he stares at it in wonder as if it's a new toy. Rainbow Dash glances over to what her brother is looking at. At this point, Goku also catches a glimpse of something he catches on the other side of her flank, so he adjusts his view to see what it is.

Both Goku and his pony daughter grow wide-eyed in shock at first. There's definitely a tattoo there, but neither of them knows where it came from. The tattoo shows a grey cloud, and there are three lightning bolts below the cloud. Each lightning bolt has a different color; red, yellow, and blue. These lightning bolts also seem to be stuck together to form one huge lightning bolt.

Goku quickly move to the mare's other side, and is again shocked by what he sees. Rainbow seems to have the same exact mark on both sides of her rump. Rainbow Dash begins to smile. "I don't know where it came from," she says, "but it sure looks awesome."

"Awesome or not young lady," Chichi speaks harshly, "You're going to get that thing removed by tomorrow."

"But mom, it looks so cool! Besides, one can't hurt, right?"

While Chichi and Rainbow argue back and forth on what would be the fate of the tattoo, Goku starts to question the very thing that most of the family hade in mind. "Where in the world did that mark come from? I know I haven't seen it at all today. Heck, I don't even remember seeing it when she was next to me before-." As if a light bulb went off in his head, Goku is hit by the realization. "The race." He turns to the sky to see the rainbow that shined the sky before, and it now fades away as if it evaporated into thin air. Goku then looks back at the mark that's on Rainbow while she and Chichi are still arguing over it.

"Come on mom! I have no idea how I got it, honest." Rainbow says.

"How am I supposed to think that you got that tattoo out of the blue? I swear, one more bluff like that and that's not the only thing you'll be loosing!" Chichi yells in return.

"I don't think that's a normal mark Chichi." Goku interrupts.

Chichi and Rainbow quickly turns to him. "What the hell is that suppose to mean!?" the mother asks.

"I didn't know how she got it either, and I was right next to her before the race." Goku notices that Chichi keeps her tense, pissed off expression on her face before he continues, "Just think about it. How can she get one without even going to a tattoo artist? Wouldn't she be caught by those government guys that you talked about if this was true?" Chichi's expression softens a little bit as the reality struck her. "And besides, didn't you notice that she has the same mark on the other side of her flank as well?" Chichi and Rainbow are struck by this and they turn to the other side of the mare's flank. He's right. The same mark is on that side as well. While they stare intently at it, Goku continues, "I think that rainbow that she made had to do with it." Rainbow, Gohan, and her mother look back at Goku after he says this. "This mark might be a symbol for something, like her special talent."

"You really think so?" Chichi asks.

"I'm sure of it. The mark suits her, too."

Chichi looks back at the mark once again, and she would have to agree. "I guess you're right."

Rainbow smiles at this before asking, "Does this mean I get to keep it?"

The pony's mother looks at her for a moment. She then sighs in defeat and answers, "Yes, you can keep it."

In response, Rainbow cheers while Gohan giggles joyfully. Goku grins before I thought popped into his head. "Say, how about we give that move a name. Don't you agree Rainbow?" Goku asks the mare.

Rainbow looks back at him and smirks before replying, "Are you talking about that Sonic Rainboom I made?"

Everybody looks at her before Goku responds, "A Sonic Rainboom?"

"Ya, I came up with the name myself. You like?"

"That sounds like a fine name sweetie," her mother answers.

"I'd have to agree with you there," Goku comments, "I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Then it's settled," Rainbow states, "The new technique will be called the Sonic Rainboom!"

Gohan giggles at this while Chichi smiles. Goku smiles as well, and then looks at the mark again with a pensive expression before he looks behind him and towards the sky where that rainbow was before. "The Sonic Rainboom," he thinks to himself. He grins at this before thinking, "That's a perfect name."

This has been an interesting day for Goku. Not only does his daughter create a technique that he has never heard of before, but she also gains a strange mark that no one knows where it came from. For now, Goku thinks that he will eventually find out these mysteries in the far future. It's late October and the Son family is ready for the upcoming holidays, so Goku also thinks that it's only going to get better for the family.

If only he knew what's going to happen the very next day.

    10. Welcome to the Herd

Hello again! It's been a while, but it's finally done! This is the last chapter of the saga, and I promise that this is the last one of those cuteness overload chapters before the real action begins. This chapter is literally twice as long as others, so I hope it's worth the wait. For the final chapter of the childhood saga... enjoy!

Goku's eyes begin to open as the morning rays of the sun penetrate his pupils. He finds himself looking at the ceiling above him, and the memories from yesterday reach him like a speeding bullet. This followed with the many questions that come to his mind. Where did that mark come from? What is the mark for, and why is it there? Is it a part of who Rainbow is? Why didn't she have the mark when she was born? Does it have to do with the Sonic Rainboom that she performed, or does it tell her destiny? Then, another question has come to his mind, and this is a question that was in the back of his mind ever since he met the mare as a little filly. Where in the world did she come from?

He decides to save these questions for later. It's better to wait for the answers to reveal themselves then to ponder on them. Goku sits up from bed and yawns as he stretches his arms toward the ceiling. He then notices that something's missing. He turns his head to the other side of the bed to find that no one is there. Goku's now confused. Chichi doesn't leave until nine on Saturdays in order to run some errands. That's when it hits him.

"What time is it?" Goku asks himself. He turns to the clock on the wall next to the bedroom door. His eyes widen. "Oh my Kami, it's ten already?!" He jumps out of bed and goes straight to the bathroom. "I really overslept this time."

He immediately jumps into the beginning of his morning routine; take a shower, dry himself off, and brush his own teeth. After that, he walks out of the bathroom, with a towel on, and heads toward the closet. He opens it to find all of his clothes, which are only the many copies of his orange gi uniform. He rubs his thumb under his chin as he says to himself, "Hmm, there are so many choices." He grabs a random gi and continues, "This one should do."

After he gets dressed, Goku looks at the clock again to find that it's twenty minutes past ten. He wanted to get ready quick so that he had time to train with Rainbow. Goku then looks outside the bedroom window. A huge, ominous storm cloud can be seen about ten minutes from his exact location. "It's a good thing that Rainbow knows her weather."

Rainbow Dash is an amazing weather forecaster. Every prediction that she has made was correct, and she can make any weather channel run for their money. Chichi once ignored her warning when she said that a huge storm was rushing in and it was going to arrive in a few hours. Her mother watched her favorite weather channel and it said that there were going to be perfect skies all day, so she went with that and took her family out for a picnic. Let's just say that Chichi was relieved that Rainbow brought a tent.

When Rainbow said yesterday that another storm was coming today, Goku was thrilled. Since Rainbow can manipulate the weather, the cloud could be a great use for training. That's when it hit him; the mark. Rainbow's mark consists of a thunder cloud and three lightning bolts. "Is that what the mark relates to?" Goku thinks to himself, "Is her special talent related to …weather?" It makes since, so Goku puts that as his best theory. Along with that, he smiles to himself. "It must be really cool to have that power. Man, the endless amount of pranks I can pull on Krillin."

Suddenly, he sees something outside his window that he doesn't expect at the time. A rainbow blur is spotted and can be seen in sky, flying away from the house. Goku realizes it the moment he sees it. It's Rainbow Dash. "Hey, Rainbow!" Goku yells at her, "Where are you going?!" It seems that she didn't hear him since she didn't stop or turn her head. Instead, she just kept on going until she couldn't be seen. This confuses her dad. "She must have heard me," Goku mutters, "But why didn't she answer back?" There was only one way to find out.

Before he went off after her, Goku opens his bedroom door and sprints down the stairs for any clue on why she left. When he's there, Goku glances around the perimeter, and so far has no luck of finding anything. He decides to roam into the kitchen, and there he finds Rainbow's favorite box of cereal on the counter. Rainbow always has the habit of waking up around this time and eating breakfast. Goku smiles to himself, "Now I know how she feels." Goku felt more rested this morning than usual since he wakes up a lot earlier. However, when it comes to breakfast, it can wait; finding Rainbow is more important to him.

Goku hears murmurs from the TV in the living room, so Gohan is probably in there. "Maybe he knows where she went," Goku reasons with himself. He starts to walk to the room, but stops in his tracks. At the entrance of the room, he finds a bowl, toppled over with spilled milk and cereal on the ground. It's Rainbow's bowl. Goku walks over and picks up the bowl with a confused look on his face. "Rainbow would never waste such perfect food," He thinks to himself.

    "Wings, don't fail me now."

"Huh?" Goku responds to the phrase from the TV in the room right in front of him. To him, it sounded like Rainbow, but a lot older than twelve years of age. Goku walks into the room, and immediately finds Gohan staring straight at the television with disbelief. Goku then looks at the TV, and he quickly finds out why. On the TV screen, a white pony with long, purple hair, what seems to be a dress, and large, colorful wings is flying towards the sky until her body seems to be right in front of the sun. The thing that hit Goku the most was the animation; its cartoony texture looks the same as Rainbow Dash's.

There's a sudden close up of the pony, and the pony seems to be sweating. "Look upon me Equestria," the pony speaks, "For I…am…Rarity!" She raises her hooves toward the sky, and suddenly, her wings bring out beautiful shades of blue, pink, green, yellow, and purple toward a coliseum that's somehow flying in midair. The screen shots to a few ponies that stare at it in delight, and the crowd seems to be gasping at the sheer beauty of the dazzling colors. Goku looks at the screen in amazement. It's not as beautiful as the Sonic Rainboom that Dash can create, but it's definitely up there.

Then the next scene came. Her wings are burning; she's too close to the sun. Goku watches as at first, the flying pony is showing of the shining colors coming from her wings, but then her wings suddenly caught on fire and turn to ashes. "What the?" is the only way that Goku can respond. The pony's, Rarity's, eyes widen and looks behind to find her luscious wings gone.

"Uh oh," is all she can say before she screams as she's plummeting towards the ground.

"Oh no!" a purple unicorn responds as her face is on the screen, "Her wings have evaporated into thin air!"

After Rarity falls through the coliseum, a group of pegasi in blue jumpsuits with lightning designs flies down to catch the falling unicorn and save her life. However, Rarity is flailing her hooves as she's falling, so when the group of pegasi reaches her, she manages to knock them all out by hitting them square in the face. Goku smiles at this. "Owned," he thinks to himself, but then a question comes to his mind. He thinks, "Wait…is she going to die?"

Then came the next scene, and it showed a different pony. Goku's expression to when he met Rainbow Dash for the first time can never beat this. Every system in his body seems to just stop. It's so severe that he almost drops the bowl in his hand. A familiar cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and rosy eyes is flying towards the sky. She's definitely Rainbow Dash, and she's definitely her older version.

She looks down to find the group of ponies that are falling to there death, and her eyes widen from the scene. She immediately stops flying and as she reverses direction and heads straight downward, and she yells, "Hold on Rarity, I'm coming!" Rainbow is seen chasing after the falling group, and Rarity is still screaming. In the next scene, a yellow pegasus with long, pink hair covers her eyes and says, "I can't look."

Rainbow is watched in the next scene, as she starts to speed up in order to reach the group. Then there is a cone. A cone surrounds Rainbow; Rarity, and a group of four ponies in the coliseum gasp from this. Two of these ponies are the purple unicorn and the yellow pegasus. Goku realizes what's going on. "Wait…" He murmurs. The screen goes back to Rainbow, whose mach cone is now getting smaller and the mare is going much faster.

Then, it happens. In a burst of speed, Rainbow Leaves behind a trail of rainbow colors and a layer of these colors start to cover the sky. As Goku's mouth gapes, the ponies in the coliseum stare at it in shock and wonder. The screen goes to the group of four ponies from before, and the purple, pink, and orange ponies have their jaws dropped and their eyes wide. Then there's the yellow one. Even though the pegasus sounded soft at first, she's now jumping up and down and screaming, "A SONIC RAINBOOM! SHE DID IT! SHE DID IT! WHOA!"

When Goku hears these words, he drops the bowl. He can't respond to what he's seeing. The character in the show is definitely supposed to be Rainbow Dash. Her color, her flying, the Sonic Rainboom, and Goku can even picture the mare having that voice when she grows up. Man, Goku can only imagine how Rainbow could react- "Oh my Kami, RAINBOW!"

Gohan comes back to reality and looks over to find his dad sprinting straight towards the front door. "Daddy!" he yells.

After he opens the door, Goku turns his head to Gohan and replies, "Stay here. I'll go and find Rainbow."

"But-." Before Gohan could finish, his dad slams the door behind him.

Goku runs off the property and then yells to the sky as loud as his lungs can handle, "NIMBUS!" The yellow cloud rushes towards him moments later and stops right in front of him. The cloud wonders what his friend wants to do this time. Goku orders, "Watch over Gohan while I go find Rainbow Dash! Go see what's on the TV and you'll find out why!" After he says this, Goku flies off into the sky while Nimbus floats there confused. After a few moments, Nimbus decides to listen and goes inside the house to see what all the fuss was about.

Rainbow doesn't care where she's going. All she wants to do is get as far away from that house as possible. What she saw on that TV was no joke, and she wishes that it never happened. She is near the brink of tears as she flies as fast as she can through the air. "Why?" she solemnly thinks to herself, "Why would they keep that from me? Am I just a stupid cartoon character on a stupid cartoon show? They work for one of those evil government guys; they didn't care about me. None of them did." When she realizes what she said, she shook it out of her mind and continued, "No, that's not true. They love me no matter what, but then why not tell me anything about this?" She decides to lay it off. Either way, she wants to just be left alone and think, and she definitely doesn't want to hear a stupid sob story of how they love her so much; she would not be able to take it.

After a while of flying Rainbow realizes how tired she was getting, so she decides to look around for any shelter. She knew that it would be too obvious if she hides in a cloud, so that's out of the picture. After a quick glance, she spots a forest not too far away. "It's better than nothing," she convinces herself before she flies in that direction.

She flies above the forest and starts to look around. Since she knew the rain is about to pour at any minute, she needs to find a tree with thick leaves and big branches. Then she spots it; a tree that's bigger than the other in comparison and has a ton of leaves to block the rain's penetration. She flies down and enters the tree. When she does, she immediately finds a few tree branches that can support her light weight. The mare lies on top of it and finally begins to relax.

Twenty minutes later, she's still there trying to figure out how to handle the situation. The rain's pouring down hard by now, and some droplets were coming through the leaf barrier on top of her, but the pony didn't care. All she wants is to get through this without going insane. "Gohan didn't even know," she thinks, "They didn't even tell him either. I just don't get it. Is he too young to understand? Did they think he would slip the beans and tell me about it? Why hide it from him? Why hide it from me?!" She realizes that she's over her head, so she calms herself down using a deep breath.

Suddenly, she hears a chirp from not too far away. Rainbow looks over to find a lonely baby blue jay in a nest on the tree that Rainbow's on. Out of no where, a more masculine chirp can be heard from above, and an adult blue jay with a worm in its mouth lands on the nest to meet the little one. It's the baby's parent. The parent feeds the child the worm and the little blue jay rubs its head onto the bigger one's stomach. The parent blue jay responds by resting its head on the little ones back for comfort.

Rainbow's eyes begin to water and she turns away. She misses her family, mostly her dad, but she's not going to turn back now. She just doesn't feel ready for it. She starts to wonder if her dad is actually looking for her right now. "He might be. I'll try to sense his life force to see if he is." Suddenly, reality strikes her like the thunder that strikes right at that moment. Her eyes widen as she just remembers where she learned to do that from.

Her dad can sense her life energy.

A loud screech is heard from the location the blue jays are. Rainbow looks that direction to find the baby blue jay falling off the nest and toward the ground. The pony looks in horror as the bigger blue jay flies off the nest to catch its child. Immediately ready to take action, Rainbow prepares herself for a rescue.

She never had to. Before the baby bird hit the ground, a familiar figure grabs it with both of his hands and saves the blue jay's life. Rainbow's eyes widen in shock, but then it's replaced with an angry expression. In a venomous hiss, she whispers, "Dad."

Goku walks through the forest as the rain pours onto him and the nearby trees. The ground is already moist and his shoes are tracking mud, but that's only the least of his worries. Knowing that her life force is in this area, Goku is trying to think of where she could possibly be. He thinks to himself, "If I was a twelve year-old pegasus who's trying to run from my human father, where would I go? Well I would probably want to go somewhere that can block the rain, so maybe a cave or under a tree?" He then looks up at the trees above him. "No, I would probably want to go in the tree like a bird. I would probably feel safer there anyway, but which one would it be?" After a glance, Goku spots a gigantic tree with thick leaf cover and branches much bigger than the trees around it. "Definitely that one."

Goku begins his ascend towards the tree in order to make a search, but then something rather unusual happens. After a loud chirp, a baby blue jay is seen plummeting toward the ground with an adult blue jay flying behind it. Goku switches to hero mode and flies toward the bird. When he gets there, he successfully catches the baby bird softly with two hands.

When he knows he caught the bird, he carries it with one palm and flies up to the nest that he spots on top of them. When they get there, Goku places the bird inside and says, "There you go little guy. Don't fall off your nest like that anymore, alright." He then smiles when he sees both blue jays comfort each other, and he hears something mutter from his left. Goku turns to find what he was hoping for. He's met with an angry looking pegasus that seems to not want him there, and it's obvious that her eyes were watery, but he's just glad that she's alright.

"Hey there Rainbow," Goku speaks first.

"Leave me alone," Rainbow replies as she's about to fly off.

    "Wait!"

Rainbow stops and looks at him. "Why should I?"

    "I just want to talk."

There's a moment of silence, but then Rainbow breaks it with a question. "How long… have you known about this?"

"What?" Goku replies with a confused expression.

The pissed off pony goes straight up to his face and yells, "How long have you known about that stupid show?! How long have you known about me just being another stupid cartoon pony?! How long have you kept me from knowing anything about any of this!?"

Goku looks at her in disbelief, but then he realizes what she means. She's not just upset about her being part of a cartoon. She's upset because she feels betrayed by him for not telling her about this since she thinks that he knew about it before hand. "I've never heard about that show in my life until today," he answers.

"Don't you dare lie to me!"

"Have I ever lied to you about these things before?" Rainbow's anger almost fades from her expression when he says this and she backs away. Goku continues, "Believe me when I say this. If I ever knew about it, I would've told you years ago. Think about it. I still don't know what that mark is called on your flank, and I don't even fully know what it means. I would never be that low-leveled of a person that would not tell you and let you feel heart broken if you found out in another way. However, I do know one thing." Rainbow is looking at him in wonder as he continues, "You're not just a cartoon. You're much, much more. You're a strong, caring, brave young mare who teaches me as much as I teach her, but most importantly…" Goku pauses for a second and smiles before finishing. "You're my daughter, and I will always love you no matter what."

Rainbow can't hold it in anymore. Her eyes begin to water, and then they burst into tears as she reaches for Goku and hugs him around his neck. Under a lot of will power, Rainbow mutters out the words, "I'm s-so s-s-sorry! I-"

Goku didn't see this coming at first, but then he believes it. "She's probably been holding back these tears for thirty minutes now." He responds by hugging her back and whispering, "It's alright. Just let it all out."

After what seems to be five minutes, Rainbow finally manages to calm down, and so does the weather since the rain has managed to stop and the rain cloud past over. She looks up to her dad and asks, "Hey dad?"

    "Ya?"

"How come you always know what to say?"

Goku smiles at this and answers, "Well, it comes naturally, I guess." At that moment, Goku realizes something. "Hey, guess what?"

    "What?"

"Since there's a TV show about you in this world, what if there's a world that has a show about me and my friends on our epic adventures from the past and maybe into the future?"

Rainbow thinks about this and answers, "I bet it would be a big hit."

Her dad smiles at this and responds, "That makes since, but what would it be called?"

    "Dragon ball, duh."

Goku laughs at this and replies, "Good point."

    "Hey dad?"

    "Yes?"

"Can we go home now? I'm in desperate need of a shower."

Goku smirks at this and says, "Now that's a first."

Both of them burst out laughing, and with a good mind-set, the duo takes off and they fly back towards their home. However, while they're flying Goku comes up with an idea. "Hey, Dash."

    "Ya?" she responds

"I think it might be best if we keep on watching that show."

Rainbow quickly turns to him in disbelief and replies, "What do you mean?"

"I think that show might tells us a little about where you're from and what your race is like. If we're lucky, you might learn more about yourself."

    "I doubt it."

    "What do you mean?"

"When I saw it, I was messing up on the most basic skills like flying through pillars and spinning clouds. Heck, I had severe stage fright for crying out loud! Even though she looks exactly like me and we have the same name, we don't have much in common."

Goku smiles at this and says, "Really? Because when I saw it, you did a Sonic Rainboom and saved multiple ponies from falling to their death."

Rainbow gets obviously shocked by this and replies, "I did a Sonic Rainboom?!"

"Yep, and they even called it that, too." Rainbow's jaw drops from this before he continues, "We can't just base it on one scene, and I bet it has more truth to it then we realize. So, are you in?"

The mare thinks about it for a moment before finally deciding. She turns to her dad with a smirk and says, "I'm in!"

"Then it's settled, we'll watch the show from beginning to end, right?"

"Right." The mare thinks for a second before adding, "I just hope I'm as cool as you said I was."

"Hey, knowing you, I bet you'll be a hero."

"Do you think I would have some cool catch phrases?"

"I don't know, can you think of any off the top of your head?"

Rainbow shacks her head. "Nah, I don't really have a clue."

"Well, we're about to find out, aren't we?"

"Wait, we're still going to be training, right?"

"Of course, I was thinking about two hours of training, then watching as many episodes as you want."

    "Sounds like a plan."

"Oh, and one more thing Rainbow."

"Ya?" Goku goes up next to her and does the unthinkable. He slaps the back of her head. "Ouch, hay, what was that for?!"

"That's what you get for wasting such a perfect bowl of cereal!"

"Oh come on dad! I have an excuse!"

"There's no excuse for wasting good food."

And so the duo continues to argue over the fallen cereal as they approach their home in the middle of nowhere. The day has been a long one. However, their story is far from over and new secrets will arise that none of them can ever predict. There lives will twist in a completely different direction, and the battles that they will face will go farther than they ever suspected; into the extraterrestrial.

Yes! I'm finally done! Btw, I might take a break from this story and write a single chapter story(I think they're called one shots, can anyone clarify?), but I promise I will start the next saga quickly. For all of those estudiantes and everyone else, HAGS(Have a great summer)!
