A Short drabble which came about once I got this plot bunny in my head! What do you think?

Dear Princess Celestia

Sorry I have not sent you any letters for the past weeks, I wish you were well, and so does my husband Big Macintosh.

You read that right, my husband Big Macintosh, let me explain:

You see during all the madness in Ponyville when Discord was let free, Big Macintosh was covered in mud in a puddle, and kind of licked me like a dog- yeah. Well as it turns out that is the traditional way for a stallion of the Apple family to propose marriage to a mare, I sure wish I was making that up.

It gets better, weeks ago Big Macintosh had my Ms Smartypants doll (long story) and I let him have it for the moment, as it turns out a mare letting a stallion of the apple family keep a childhood item mean accepting the marriage, who came up with these traditions. Anyway Applejack and Big Macintosh's grandmother Granny Smith had invited the entire Apple Family over (who i already met on my first day in Ponyville) and began planning a wedding. I almost had a heart attack when it was explained to me what was going on.

I wanted to say it was a misunderstanding but as it turns out a mare rejecting a marriage proposal to an Apple family stallion after accepting it meant having her fur shaved completely off and then pelted by apples. I also want to say Spike is having trouble writing all this with a straight face.

I looked to my friends for help but didn't get any: Rarity when she found out instantly went to work designing my dress, Rainbow Dash laughed her flank off at my predicament, Fluttershy began organising a bird choir, Pinkie Pie was already helping with the wedding preparations and Applejack was too excited about having me as her sister in law (since when we first met she already considered me part of her family).

So nice to have friends I can count on in a situation.

Well Apple Family weddings have to be prepared and done within two days so that's why I didn't have time to tell you about it. I have to say the wedding itself was nice and I liked the dress Rarity was nice as well. After the wedding I barely had time to breath as they sent me and Big Macintosh off to our honeymoon to Las Haygas, how they managed to afford to send us there I don't know.

I rather not say a lot about our honeymoon – let's just say being Big Mac's wife is not something I think I will regret being in the near future.

When we got back I saw to my shock Applejack, Granny Pie, Applebloom and Spike had managed to somehow take all my possessions to Sweet Apple Acres, so I have to walk for miles every day so I can do my duty at the library.
