To Marty Wright

Hello son, its me your Dad. Honestly I don't know how to even start this letter but one of the nurses suggested that I just write whatever comes to me so here I go.

I don't know why you disappeared, I know a lot of shit has happened between all of us including you and me and if i could back what I said about your mother I would but what's done is done and sadly it destroyed a lot of what we had and honestly from what I heard you were never the same.

A lot of your colleagues said you were a lot quieter and a lot more cold towards people, they said they couldn't remember the last time that you smiled. I hope you found that smile again. I remember when you were young and you'd spend your money on face paint and masks and play wrestle with your siblings, you kept telling everyone that you were a luchador and that you could take them all on. You were always a strange little boy but you were my little boy.

Speaking of your siblings I feel its best you get an update on them as well. Your sister is still trying to get in to music but the furthest she's gotten so far is a backstage role, and yes she is still blaming you for some reason god knows why. Your other sister Melissa is actually doing better, she isn't biting people any more which is an improvement but your brother was denied parole again, I visited him once and the scary thing is, I don't think he's at all sorry.

A lot of people said you died a hero and that it was a good way to go but I don't want a hero, I want my son, in fact I don't accept that your even dead. That's really why I'm writing this letter to you, one day I'm hoping you'll pop up some where with no memory or on some secret case and I'll send this letter off immediately and need you to I hear this, I love you son, I never told you that enough when you were younger.

I realise now that you must have had the world on your shoulders, you must have felt that you had to succeed in order to lift our family curse but son I just want you to settle down with a nice girl and just enjoy life, hell I wouldn't care about her race or anything like that unlike your mother. I know you still probably hate me but please find it in your heart to forgive, have you lost the will to carry on? Then I'll help you get it back. Have you met a girl you think I wont like? Son if she's good enough for you then she's good enough for me, hell I don't care if she has some kind of hippy name like Rainbow I just want to know your alright, can you do that for your old man?

I going to finish this letter now, I'll need my medication in a minute and then I wont be able to write this, I just want you to know that I love you and I'll always love you no matter what happens down the road.

Lots of love from your father, Paul Wright

P.S. I you do come by I have some of your favourite sweets, Skittles, so we can share some like we used to do.

Paul Wright finished the letter and carefully placed it in an envelope, he wrote on the front and placed it on the desk beside his bed and drifted off to sleep. As he slept the letter started to spark and fizz with tiny electric sparks coming off of it, the proud father didn't see the letter disappear as a final mini lightning bolt went through the roof of the building and landed on top of the letter. The noise awoke him but when he looked at the roof there was no structural damage what so ever and the letter was gone.

Carnage paced angrily back and forth, the Doctor was looking for another way into the Steel Mill and Carnage was left there bitterly angry at Dash and Batman, he muttered under his breath, "If anything happens to Dash then I'm going to hold him personally responsible..."
Carnage suddenly felt a burning sensation on his chest like something had just landed, he cringed in pain but felt his inside vest pocket had gotten a little heavier, he reached inside and pulled out an envelope.
As he looked upon it Carnage's eyes started to well up as he recognised the hand writing on the then envelope, the front simply read "from Dad."
